John Rush kicks off the hour with a conversation that many parents have been waiting for. Chris Clements and Paul Fisher join the program to discuss Radiant Mobile, a new Christian-focused mobile phone service designed to protect families from harmful online content before it ever reaches the device.
Unlike traditional filtering apps that can be bypassed or slowed down by software workarounds, Radiant Mobile uses network-level protection to block inappropriate material, gambling, pornography, hate content, and other harmful categories directly through the cellular network. The service is built on a major U.S. carrier’s infrastructure and aims to provide parents with
SPEAKER 06 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 13 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 06 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 16 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did! Get a job, Turk! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 14 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 04 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 08 :
And welcome, Monday edition, Rush to Reason, Debra’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Hopefully you all had a great, fabulous weekend. Great weather today. Got a lot in store for you, not only today, but throughout the entire week. Mike Jansen joining us now, Plumberoos. Mike, how are you today? I’m doing good, John. Thank you. How are you? I’m doing very well. Good to have you in studio with us and talk to us. I know we talked once before already, Plumberoos. You guys are plumbers that do things the old-fashioned way is the best way for me to say it. Yes, sir. Meaning? Meaning.
SPEAKER 12 :
Oh, one-on-one customer service, focusing on just the customer, their house, respecting their house, their animals, and ultimately helping them solve their issue without any other issues or add-ons.
SPEAKER 08 :
Without layering on all sorts of other things that may or may not be needed. Now, I also know, on the same token, I know you all enough to know that if there’s some other major issue going on, you’re definitely still going to point that out, let the customer know, hey, here’s some other things that… We see, but at the end of the day, we’re here to solve this problem. If we want to address some of these other ones, then so be it.
SPEAKER 12 :
That’s exactly right. Many times when I go to a job and there’s one issue, but I notice, hey, this valve is bad. It’s a gate valve and it’s leaking. I don’t pressure them to change it, but I recommend, you know what, this needs to be done. Sure. Because it will continue to leak if it’s not fixed right now. And you know what? Since I’m already here, let’s make it a double bundle and just get it taken care of.
SPEAKER 08 :
Absolutely. What right now? And we haven’t had a super hard winter. So, you know, we usually have different things, you know, pipes that can freeze and things like that. We haven’t had a cold enough winter. That’s been a huge, huge issue this year. But what right now is one of your number one things that you’re running into the most right now?
SPEAKER 12 :
It’s actually the weather, John. The reason is because it’s been so beautiful out. People are watering their yards and lawns, but they don’t understand that come midnight, it’s back to freezing temperatures, and people are forgetting to remove their hose bibs, and they’ve been calling me for hose bib repairs. Even though it hasn’t been freezing for most people in the daytime, but at nighttime, it still gets cold out there, John.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so for those of you listening, and that’s something we talk about even on my Saturday program, yeah, you don’t want to leave those hooked up. Yes, you do need to be doing some daily watering with as warm as it is. But, yeah, to Mike’s point, remember, it’s going to freeze at night. And it’s really, you guys, as you know, not only as the sun goes down, but those early morning hours, the atmosphere changes, it drops in temperature, gets really cold, and that hose is retaining water, and that’s why those are doing that. That’s why it basically leaves water in the tank. In the spigot, I guess you could say, or the faucet, maybe is a better way to say that.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, a lot of people ask me, why does it freeze when you install the frost-free? Well, I told them it’s frost-free, meaning you have to take the hose off because it kind of works like the same way as like if you put a straw in a water cup and you put your finger over it and you hold it up and there’s still water in the hose, right? Same philosophy. We’ve got to get the air in it to release the water.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, if you guys have never seen one of those, a water faucet, outside water faucet, they’re long. What are they, a foot long or so?
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, they come in different sizes, 8-inch, 12, 16, 18. But it closes inside the house where it’s warm. People think it’s going to be the mechanism on the outside. It’s not. That’s where the freeze is at. It’s in the inside.
SPEAKER 08 :
It’s a valve way down inside. And what happens is when you leave that water in there, it bursts. You turn the faucet on. There’s your mess.
SPEAKER 12 :
Exactly. Yep.
SPEAKER 08 :
Now you’ve got water going all over everywhere. Fortunately, you can turn that water back off, but that faucet is unusable until you come out and put a new one on.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, I’ll probably get like five or six calls come spring about hose beds. Yeah. Sometimes I’ll get the same customers in the same month because they forget or the wife forgets to take it off.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so here’s a dumb question for you. Are those the only type you can use or can you spend extra money and get some that self-drain?
SPEAKER 12 :
You can get the self-draining ones. They’re about $100 more. There’s a couple options. You can get a standard hose bib, which is called a SoCock. In order to do that, you have to have another ball valve in the inside that shuts it off with the bleeder. But then you have to have an access panel and everything like that.
SPEAKER 08 :
So it’s not as easy of an upgrade as it sounds.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay. Well, good to know because I know they make – because on my house, I have the self-draining ones, which those of you that don’t know, and if you’ve got the ability to upgrade, let me tell you what. They’re nice because guess what? The guesswork goes away. You can leave a hose hooked up because they self-drain. It’s not an issue. But to your point, they’re not standard. And in my case, somebody would have had – whoever I bought the house from had to have upgraded that because that’s not the standard way of doing it.
SPEAKER 12 :
Almost every person I’ve met who has a self-draining hose bed like yourself always asks me, is this normal to spew water out when it closes?
SPEAKER 08 :
It is. It is. Because it’s draining.
SPEAKER 12 :
Because it’s draining.
SPEAKER 08 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 12 :
A lot of people think it’s broken. I get phone calls about that.
SPEAKER 08 :
No, no, no.
SPEAKER 12 :
That’s the function of it.
SPEAKER 08 :
In fact, you won’t have these problems if you have one of those. You can leave the hose on, and if it freezes, it’s no big deal because it’s draining everything out anyways. Correct.
SPEAKER 12 :
Very common in condos and townhomes was a communal hose bid.
SPEAKER 08 :
Oh, good point.
SPEAKER 12 :
And people don’t really know about taking those off.
SPEAKER 08 :
Good idea.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
So point being, if you guys out there listening decide, hey, I’d like to do an upgrade along those lines, there is access. I can get this done. Mike could come out and do that for you folks. And I’ll just tell you straight up, it takes all the guesswork out of it. You don’t have to worry about it.
SPEAKER 12 :
and then call me it’s a free estimate and most of the times let’s make it quick and easy send me a picture on my personal cell phone let’s and i’ll give you the price i’m not gonna make you wait hours or days and ask for your email i’ll just tell you right over the phone and i’m gonna honor it and there’s no like additions on top of that no surprises that’s the the final
SPEAKER 08 :
One thing I talk about in my Saturday program quite a bit because it’s a forgotten thing is the anode rods in hot water heaters. How often and is that something you recommend folks do and is that something you guys do?
SPEAKER 12 :
A lot of people ask me about that, and it’s kind of hard for me to say because— It depends on your water quality and all that, right? Exactly, because I’ve seen some anode rods where I want to remove it, but I look at it, and I’m like, no. If I remove it, it’s going to damage the water heater. Now I’m going to have to explain to the customer, hey, we have to get you a new water heater.
SPEAKER 08 :
But if they would have maintained that on the front side, they wouldn’t have had that problem, right?
SPEAKER 12 :
The best thing they can do is flush their water heater out yearly, get all the sediment from the bottom. It’s a very easy thing to do.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so what if they’re not that mechanically inclined, don’t have that ability to do what you just said? Will you help them with those things?
SPEAKER 12 :
Oh, definitely, yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 12 :
Definitely, just give me a call right out there, hopefully the next day or day after, and I charge flat rate of flushing water here, 150.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so those of you listening, trust me, that’s worth doing. Anode rods, if you keep those changed, it’ll make that water heater last that much longer. For some people, and it really depends on your quality of water, where you live, there’s a lot of factors there. That’s why there’s not a standard answer as to how often you change that because it’s going to vary from one area of town to another is what I should say.
SPEAKER 12 :
Exactly. I’ll go to Highlands Ranch. They have really hard water. I’ll go places in Denver with Denver water. They have hard water, but not as hard. I’ll go to Thornton, and their water is really hard. I don’t know how hard it is in the west side of town where you live.
SPEAKER 08 :
Mine’s good.
SPEAKER 12 :
It’s good?
SPEAKER 08 :
I’m lucky.
SPEAKER 12 :
Usually you’ll know if you have hard water on your faucets if you see white scaling.
SPEAKER 08 :
That’s right, the calcium buildup. Yes. You’ll notice it, the mineral buildup. So those of you listening, if you notice you’ve got more of that buildup around your shower heads and your faucets and so on, yeah, you’ve got a harder water, and you’re going to have more issues that way. Absolutely.
SPEAKER 12 :
And speaking of water heaters, the state of Colorado did mandate a new law for the ultra-low NOx. I know they’ve been doing it with the furnace industry, HVAC industry. They’ve actually came into the plumbing industry now as well.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay. So again, so those of you guys who have questions on that, please talk to Mike. Plumberoos, I say it all the time, it’s like an old-time plumber. You’re not getting some big, huge conglomerate corporate. guy out there that’s working off commission that they have to sell a certain amount or they don’t retain their job and trust me that’s how it works and most of the other plumbing companies I’m and I’m not being rude that’s just that’s just the way Mike the system works for other folks and I’m not I’m not lying about that that’s how it works yeah I’ve been in business I’m going on my 10
SPEAKER 12 :
here on business and it’s been proven successful my motto of doing the work you know I don’t have a brick-and-mortar store I don’t have a secretary that to answer phone calls for me I don’t have a scheduler I do everything myself as the owner and I have my guys out there helping me out as well awesome well Mike I sure appreciate it what’s the best way to get a hold of you how do they do that Either my personal cell number or my website or through your KLZ platform as well.

SPEAKER 06 :
God. Country. Reason. Now back to John Rush.
SPEAKER 08 :
And we are back. Thanks for listening. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Okay, time for the question of the day Fridays. Which amendment abolished poll taxes in federal elections? That would be the 24th. So again, which amendment abolished poll taxes in the federal elections? That’s the 24th. Today’s impossible question of the day. What parasite… is responsible for canine heartworm disease. What parasite is responsible for canine heartworm disease? And if you’ve got pets, you pretty much know what that is. If you don’t, look it up because… It’s a lot to explain. But it mainly happens to dogs, by the way. And it’s something that can affect your dog in a negative way. And I’m not going to get into it. There is a gazillion different opinions on what you should do, what parts of the country you should do this in, and so on. And I am by no means an expert when it comes to dogs and the veterinarian sides of things and so on. So, yeah, that is not for me to get into. So, all right. The war in Iran. And it… So it’s moving forward. I did see that Donald Trump said today, President Trump said today that he feels it’s on the downhill slide of things. They did name a successor. I’m sure I’m going to butcher this first name. M-O-J-T-A-B-A. I’m sure I butchered that. He is the son of Iran’s late supreme leader. Now, there’s all sorts of speculation among the lines of who this guy is. There are stories of him having a leg amputated. He’s really not even conscious right now. He’s really out of it because of that. And again, folks, I don’t know. I really have no idea. What I do know is this. Donald Trump has basically said, yeah, that’s not going to work. this is this is essentially not going to take us in the direction that we want to go in so yeah this isn’t this isn’t going to fly so we will see you know what happens along those lines i have no idea so we will see what happens when as we get further along the lines i have no idea so I do know there’s discussion. You heard Bob Duco talk about this last week. There is discussions right now with our administration in regards to the Kurds, which I’m not going to get into all the details of that as well. Look them up if you don’t know who the Kurds are and how that works and so on. there the more friendly, I guess, would be the better way of saying that sect of that world and have some power and with, I think, the right backing may very well be able to take over and help and assist and they would be much friendlier and they would be much more of a ally, I guess you could say, to the United States than what is currently there now and has been there for the past 50 years. And I think it’s important. When we talk to people about this, because there’s all sorts of people out there, differences of opinions on what we should be doing there. And I run into folks, you know, periodically. And you’re going to get some people that will say something to the effect of, we just left everything alone, everything would be fine. No, that’s not how you look at it. And by the way, that’s not true. You leave things alone, thinking that it’s going to be okay. It never is. Keep in mind, that regime has been there for 50 years, since 1979. And they – it’s not a friendly regime. They’re – you know, they execute their people for doing things that, you know, you would think would be just run-of-the-mill normal stuff. You know, they don’t like any opposition whatsoever. They have been on the path to building nuclear weapons. There’s speculation as to whether they have one or not or have uranium to the point where they could have one. And again, the problem with that country – And the problem we’ve had with that country, you don’t know what they’re telling you because they lie to you. Now, part of, and some would say, well, why would they do that? Well, part of, especially in this case, the Muslim faith lying to you is they don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. It’s a part of their faith. We’re the enemy, we’re the infidel, and lying to us is just part of how it works. It’s unlike a lot of other quote-unquote faith-based religions. That’s why I don’t call Islam a religion, because it’s not. It’s a political ideology, and you have to remember that. And the other thing that happened in Iran when things got started back in 1979, something else most people don’t realize, is they had a movement there to take over, and they utilized the communist Marxist movement as well as their own Islamic movement. So they really combined forces there. And isn’t it interesting that some of that’s happening today in America? The correlation is really scary if you think about it that way. So some roughly 50 years ago, 1979, keep in mind things were happening prior to that to get to the point where they could actually take over in 1979. But they were doing the same things that were happening here. I have talked to people. And I have, you know, personally, and there’s lots of interviews all over the Internet from individuals that lived through all of that because it’s not that long ago. A lot of people still alive today. I mean, I can remember, I think I’ve mentioned this on air. I went to school with some folks that had actually escaped from Iran along about 1978, 1979, got out just in time and came to America. They went to our church and our school and they had three daughters and we were all great friends. And the stories they would tell. about what was going on there and what led up to it, it was a miracle that they even were able to get out and come to America. And there’s lots of stories like that. The story that I just told of friends that I had back in that day, that’s not the only story. There’s lots of them. And I think for me personally, and I’ve said this on air, but I’ll say it again, when you hear the stories directly, and you understand what was going on at that time, you have a difference of opinion, or different opinion, I should say, than other people do on what should happen in Iran today. In other words, when you have been directly affected and you’ve heard people talk directly about what was going on there versus what you’re being told out of the news media or coming directly out of Iran, it gives you a much different perspective than you would by looking at anything else. Now, again, there’s lots of video footage and things from folks that actually lived through all of that, and what I’m talking about is very, very true. And the whole part of how they got there, how they took over, and the fact that they not only used the Islamic end of things, the radical Islamic end of things, but then also incorporated the Marxist belief system into it as well, it was a double whammy. It was almost a recipe for success because they had both sides of it covered. And the country has, I’m sorry to say, it’s sucked ever since. It’s been awful ever since. Before that time, and I know some of you have heard the stories, but young people haven’t heard these stories. I think it’s really important for us to explain, especially to young people, what Iran was like prior to 1979. It was a thriving economy. They were an ally of ours. They were very jet-setter type of individuals at that time. I mean, lived a very nice lifestyle. It was very first world, not second or third world, very first world. It was a great place to be. You go back and look at any of the pictures from that time and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. And it’s important, I think, to young people especially to see that because they have no idea what Iran looked like 60 years ago, 55 years ago, before they took over in 1979, before the radicals took over in 1979. It’s also important to teach these young people that they took over doing the very same things that are happening in America right now. Almost, I mean, almost to a T, the same as what’s happening in America. And yet a lot of young people’s eyes are closed. And I don’t know. Well, I do know why, because they’re brainwashed and they’ve been told certain things that aren’t true. They believe them, though, because social media will continue to drill that into their head on top of what their professors and teachers and so on have taught them and told them. And it’s a recipe for success when you’re on the other side because of how they’ve done that. But I do believe there’s enough young people out there that do have enough interest and have enough smarts and can question things, especially as they start to get a little bit older and start to realize that, okay, wait a minute, everything I’ve been told may not necessarily be true. And something to remind a lot of you, too, that have kids especially. All of us, myself included. There was a time even in my life where I’m like, okay, why do I believe what I believe? Is it just because I’ve been taught this my entire life or is it really true? And, you know, for me growing up in a Christian home, Christian setting, Christian school, the whole nine yards, even me, I got to a point in my, you know, late teens, early 20s where I even had to say, okay, is this really, you know, is this me and what I believe or is this just what I’ve been force-fed? Fortunately, I did enough digging and realized that, yeah, this is the way it’s supposed to be. And now there’s some things that I changed at that time from how I was raised for the better. But I didn’t lose my faith. I didn’t run away from my folks. I didn’t do anything along those lines. But, yes, I definitely did some things differently than how I had been raised. And all of us go through periods whereby as we become adults, we start looking at things a little bit differently. So something to remember, those of you that are still raising kids and are around young people, and I say kids, you know, 25 and younger because they’re kids to me, and you have those conversations, these conversations, it’s important to remember that, okay, you can’t tell them how to think, but you can show them how. And what I mean by that is, like I just went through things in Iran prior to 1979, have them for themselves go up, go out and look up some of the pictures and videos and things that were happening in Iran prior to 1979, then look at it afterwards. Have them do a 10-year sweep of looking at, you know, from 1975 to 1985. and look at the changes in the country, and it’s all documented. This stuff is still readily available. It’s not like the dark ages where there wasn’t any pictures or anything like that. No, they’re blurry, and they don’t look quite the same as digital pictures today, but there’s lots of pictures and video footage and so on because that was going on at that time. There’s lots of documentation of what Iran looked like prior to it being taken over. So very important, I think, to get young people to go out and look at those things and make some of these determinations on their own, because otherwise they’re just going to be force fed whatever the news media, the left, by the way, continues to shove down their throats. And the left is wrong in this particular case, hugely wrong, as they typically are. Rarely is the left right, by the way, because the left works off of emotions, not facts. Because if they worked off of facts, things would be way different. So let’s do this. We’ll take a break. We’re going to come back. I’ve got a couple of special guests joining me here in just one moment. In the meantime, Dr. Scott’s coming up next. And Dr. Scott would love to help you live your best life possible. You can do that by being healthier, feeling better, being sharper mentally. Lots of things Scott can do to help you along those lines. 303-663-6990.
SPEAKER 10 :
What if you could get over 110 lab biomarkers tested, just like Dr. Mark Hyman advertises, but for a fraction of the cost, and with a doctor who actually explains the results? At Castle Rock Regenerative Health, Dr. Scott Faulkner has recreated this powerful biomarker test panel at a substantial savings. We have a special price for both men and women. Just $689. That’s a savings of over $2,500 over the standard price. And here’s the difference. With Hyman, you get numbers on a page. With Castle Rock Regenerative Health, you get Dr. Faulkner and his team walking you through every result, showing what’s off and creating a personalized plan to fix it. What’s even better, you don’t even have to be a concierge patient to get this pricing. This is open to everyone. Think about it. Most people’s deductible is higher than this special price. And your regular doctor, if he could get approved by your insurance, would never order this many tests, let alone know what to do with them. Call 303-663-6990 today or visit CastleRockRegenerativeHealth.com. Take control of your health at Castle Rock Regenerative Health.

Michael Bailey, he is our mobile estate planner. Make sure your estate is handled today. Get on Michael’s docket. You can do that by going to klzradio.com and look for Michael there.
SPEAKER 11 :
With mobile estate planner Michael Bailey, you won’t have to rely on luck in your estate plan. Hey, maybe you’ll luck out and use up all your assets the day you die, or maybe you’ll find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But that doesn’t seem like a solid plan. If you’re like most people, you don’t want to rely on luck when your family’s future is on the line. Some people assume it’s all going to their spouse, and maybe that’s true, but what if you have kids from another marriage? What happens to those sentimental things? And were there investments or retirement accounts? Who gets what and who decides? You might be on the same page, but if it’s not on a literal page that you can send to the state, it doesn’t count. SPEAKER 06 :
The best export we have is common sense. You’re listening to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. We’ve got a couple of special guests joining us right now, and these are gentlemen from Radiant Mobile. Let’s start with Chris. Chris Clements, welcome. How are you, Chris?
SPEAKER 04 :
I’m doing well, sir. Thank you so much, John, for having us.
SPEAKER 08 :
I appreciate it. We also have online with us Paul Fisher. Paul, welcome as well. Oh, John, God bless you, sir. No, I appreciate having you guys. All right, Chris, I’m going to jump back to you. Talk to us, I guess, initially, what is Radiant Mobile? How did you guys come up with it? And, you know, just give us a little tidbit on Radiant Mobile.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, Radiant Mobile is going to be the first Jesus-centric Christian mobile plan powered by Compaq. And we are on the country’s largest and fastest 5G platform. And we have just the incredible privilege to bring network-level protection, filtering at the pipe level for families to block inappropriate content.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay. Paul, and I know you’ve got some experience on the media sides of things on this. You know, Chris is more of the ministry side, and not that you’re not both in it, I understand that, but he’s got the ministry background. You have more of the, I guess you could say, the business background on this end of things.
SPEAKER 03 :
uh great question john i have a two-year-old daughter named palea five-year-old son named landon every time i thought about handing my phone to my five-year-old son i got scared i got freaked out i knew that he could go down rabbit holes that i could not control the idea of um of of having an actual mobile plan that blocks inappropriate content. Hate to use this word in front of your listeners. Pornography, gaming, anti-Semitism, gambling at the seed level, at the network level, which has never been done before. That’s the reason we decided to build the first Christian mobile platform.
SPEAKER 08 :
And you’re right. No, it hasn’t been. It’s typically been done, as you know, Paul, through filters and things like that, which sometimes work really well, and sometimes they’re even a throttle to what you’re doing with your phone in other situations where you really need to go look up something, and it’s all legit and so on. And that’s been my problem in the past, Paul, with filtering is while I think the idea is great, it typically at the end of the day isn’t super helpful when you really got to go look up something.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, that’s exactly correct. We spent a year of our lives, John, banging down the door of one of the largest companies. mobile companies in the country in the world literally and we begged them we said you have the ability to block inappropriate content at the network level after a year and a day basically they said yes we could bring in our cyber security company in into them and actually block it before it even gets to the phone so it’s the first christian mobile plan ever and it blocks inappropriate content at the network level and parental control features geofencing geolocation on another level
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay. Now, and that’s kind of the technical end of things, but Paul, I might as well ask you this again. How are you doing that on quote unquote, and I understand what you’re talking about on the pipe level, some of the listeners I’ve got would as well, but A, talk to us about what is that pipe level and how is it different doing it that way versus some of the other ways you’ve seen it done?
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, we are built into the T-Mobile system. I mean, we’re built directly into the system. We’re not an app that you can download and the kids can get around. The kids are getting so smart nowadays, they can figure out a way to get rid of that app, to move around it. We are built into the actual system at the tower level. It’s never, never been offered to our country ever before. Wow, unbelievable.
SPEAKER 08 :
Now, going back over to you, Chris, you’re launching this Easter Sunday, is that correct?
SPEAKER 04 :
That is correct, but pre-sales do start next Tuesday on St. Patrick’s Day.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, so next Tuesday. Okay, now, your end of this, Chris, how did you get involved in this? Was this a collaboration between the two of you, or is this something you’ve thought about in the past as well? How did you come in to be with all of this?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I’ve spent a better part of the last 20 years. I’m a father of six kids from five to 18 in college. And, you know, really wanting to protect families has been at the heart of everything I’ve done and spent 20 years doing in the ministry. But at the end of the day, John, we just, we’ve always kind of fumbled on my side to have a practical solution. We know that Jesus is the answer, but we needed a practical solution. So when I met Paul and I heard some of the, just the breakthrough on the technological side to be able to give people a practical solution with technology, It just was such an easy alignment for me in wanting to bring that level of protection to the family.
SPEAKER 08 :
Now, on that end of things, and Chris, I’ll throw this to you. When somebody decides, hey, I want to switch over or I at least want to make sure we’ve got a family plan currently or I’ve got kids and I’m going to get signed up. I mean, is it something where they want to switch the entire family over? Can it be just certain phone numbers? How does that part work, Chris?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, on our website, on pre-sales, you’ll be able to walk through that entire process. Yes, it can be just a parent in a total. We have a tribe plan, which has never been offered. I have six kids. And so there’s really no incentive for bigger families. And we decided, because we’re so interested in protecting the family, to have plans that would cater to larger families. So we have a tribe plan. That’s another service no other provider has.
SPEAKER 08 :
Now, I did get a question that came in on the text line. Is this something where you guys are like monitoring, screening, recording, or is it strictly just your Paul on the pipe? And you’ve got that dialed into where, you know, what certain IP addresses have certain content and you’re able to block it on that end. Or are you, in fact, doing like the text or ask? And are you recording some of that as well?
SPEAKER 03 :
No, absolutely not. See, because pornography and harmful content cannot get into the phone, there’s nothing to monitor. So it can’t get in. You can’t get it. And we say to people every day, John, if you want to look at it, if you want to see it, if you want to experience it at any moment in time, the harmful content, we are the wrong mobile plan for you. It cannot get into your device. And by the way, John, I want to also say this. 90 days later after we launched, we’re coming out with a product called Phone to Home. It’s a device that actually goes into your home and it attaches to your router. The same cybersecurity that we’re offering for the mobile device will now be 360 in your home, your laptop, your desktop, everything. No pornography, no gaming, no gambling. We have 120 different categories that you can block out of. Three or four of them are default. Can’t do it, won’t do it. The other ones you can decide if you want TikTok, Instagram, et cetera, et cetera.
SPEAKER 08 :
Thank you. You took the words out of my mouth. My next question was going to be, do parents, families, whatever, have the ability to control what’s being piped in and out depending upon the age of the child and so on? And I guess the question I’ve got is, can you do it phone specific or is it plan specific? How does that work, Paul?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, there’s three or four defaults that are non-negotiable. Okay. Pornography, non-negotiable. Right, right, right. Anti-Semitism, anti-hate, non-negotiable. Right, right, right. Okay, makes sense. But there’s another 120 other categories that you can, you can decide if you want the Instagram, the TikToks, the YouTube, et cetera, et cetera. That we leave up to the parents. I see.
SPEAKER 08 :
And is it on a plan level specific to that phone number? How does that work?
SPEAKER 03 :
Yeah, you get that plan. If it’s for your whole family, they’re going to live by what the head of the family decides. If the father or the mother says no Instagram, no social media, but on the other level, you can monitor it by saying, you know, an hour a day, two hours a day, you can reward the child, et cetera, et cetera. So there is a way to monitor the usage of social media, how much time you want the kids to spend on it and things like that.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, and the reason I ask is as an owner who I’ve got, you know, business plans and so on, I’ve got employees and so on. Looks to me like this is not only something that would work really well for that quote unquote tribe. But, you know, there are businesses out there whereby if it’s their own company phone, they may very well not want certain things on said phone. This sounds like this would be a great alternative for them as well.
SPEAKER 03 :
John, at any time, we will gift that to you. We’ll take care of your year mobile plan, all paid for by Radiant Mobile, your T-Mobile plan. Test it out for a few months, watch it, see if you like it, and then tell your listeners about it. We’d love to have somebody like you on the program.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, I will take you guys up on that. I appreciate that very much. All right, so given all of that, Chris, I’m going to jump this back over to you. Folks can pre-register, and here’s the question I’ve got. Is it similar in cost to what they would have with their regular T-Mobile plan or their Verizon plan? How does that work, Chris?
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s the most amazing question. Thank you for asking that, John. What you pay, whatever you’re paying with your service, if you were paying that same price with T-Mobile today, it’s no additional cost. But you’re getting all these network level filtering, all the cybersecurity. And then we haven’t even really talked to. Don’t we have time for.
SPEAKER 08 :
We got time. We’ve got plenty of time. You guys, Chris, add anything you want to add in. Not a problem at all.
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, sure. Sure. No, you have to. The decision becomes, first of all, to answer your question. No, the cost that you’re paying now is what you’ll continue to pay. But we had this decision of when you’re going to block stuff out, what are you going to fill it with? And so inside of our app with Radiant, we’re curating and creating original content that is on another level for families, for kids, and the level of curation that we’ve put together is something special. People are going to begin to see that content drip out starting next Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Day.
SPEAKER 08 :
This is awesome, guys. I mean, it really is because I know there’s a lot of folks out there listening, and I raised – A bunch of kids. My youngest is 34, fortunately. So I’ve got grandkids, of course, now. And I’m sure that I will pass this along to my kids because as the grandkids and they’re not old enough quite yet. I’ve got one that probably is when it comes to cell phone use and so on. The other ones are not quite there yet, although it’s coming closer and closer to that. And this is fabulous because, again, as Paul, as I’ve said many times, And I’ll just be straight up honest. I have never been a huge filter fan because, to your point, there’s ways to work around them. They usually slow devices down. At the end of the day, they’re cumbersome. And I’ve always been one to say, if it’s not easy to use, no one will.
SPEAKER 03 :
Mm-hmm. Yeah. I mean, that is one of the great things about this mobile plan is you don’t have to upload an app. You don’t have to download. It comes with your mobile plan. You cannot get our content without being on our mobile plan. But it’s not encompassing whatsoever. And I think the other thing I want to mention also, we have all the rights to every single Disney character. And what does that mean? We have Cinderella, Snow White, Pinocchio, Rapunzel, etc., etc. And we’re telling Bible stories with the greatest iconic characters of all time. We’re bringing them back to where they originally started in a conservative value. So you’re going to see Jonah and the Whale, Adam and Eve, Noah’s Ark. We’ve also brought in A-list music stars at the highest level from the Spanish culture… great artists from our country. And they’re singing on these stories, telling the stories of Adam and Eve and Noah’s Ark. And when you hear the musicals that we’re putting out, and all this content is a part of our mobile plan. And like Chris said, there’s no charge, not for our cybersecurity, not for our parental control, not for our great stories, stories of some of the greatest stories of all time. We create this original content.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, dumb question on my part, Paul. I mean, why hasn’t this been around before? Is it just simply no one sat down long enough to figure out the logistical end of it? Is it a cost thing? You know, why just now?
SPEAKER 03 :
You know, Chris and I speak about it every couple of hours maybe, and we hear this, it’s about time. it’s about time we’re going to take back the internet and that’s what we plan to do we believe that the internet was it was built for spreading of of of something very positive very powerful scripture whatever whatever your faith may be right and and we believe there’s a problem out there we think there’s an epidemic there’s a disease we think there’s a problem we don’t think that we are the solution to the problem but we certainly believe that we we are a part of the solution so Why hasn’t it been around? Why hasn’t anybody ever done it before? We’re not 100% sure, but I do tell you this. It took us a year of pounding down the doors of some major telecommunications companies with our hands on our knees saying, please, we have children, please, we’re begging you, put a stop to this right now. So we believe that we’re taking back the Internet in a very powerful, profound way. And then we’re filling that void with the most educational, inspirational, thought-provoking Christian content we believe that’s ever been shown before. And we’re very, very proud of that content that we’re about to share with the world.
SPEAKER 08 :
No, this is awesome. Chris, again, thank you guys so much for doing this. I think this is just a testament to what you guys have going on. And I guess ultimately, Chris, my question is, especially those folks that have young people, I mean, I think this is just really for families especially. It’s a must. I don’t know how else to say it. I mean, if you’ve got young kids in your family, I think you need to do something because the Internet can be, to Paul’s point a moment ago, Chris, it’s a great tool. That’s how I see it. And tools can be used for good, just like a gun. Tools can be used for good. Tools can be used for bad. Guns can be good. Guns can be bad. I mean, we go down the list of all the different things that are out there along those same lines, Chris. But at the end of the day, this is a great, you guys are adding a layer to a tool that people can use, but yet keeping your kids safe while doing so.
SPEAKER 1 :
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER 08 :
Now, question. The changeover, and if somebody signs up and they do the preorder and so on, is it something that’s super cumbersome? Is it something that’s fairly easy? How is that all going to work, Chris?
SPEAKER 04 :
When you go to our website, we have a landing page that’s going to be converted to a website here by next Tuesday. There will be a process and tutorial of how to get through all that information. We’re going to make it as easy as possible for everybody. And I just want to encourage everybody listening. It’s like Paul was saying. It is time to take back the Internet. There is a part we can all play. And something I’ve been saying, John, more and more is the Internet doesn’t discriminate anymore. Against who it starts to expose stuff to. And I think that’s where I really, you asked the question a few minutes ago, why did I get involved? Because I just felt like I’m just tired of the fear gripping families around this topic. And in meeting Paul and hearing his passion and persistence with a major telco company, it really, to the core of me, has kind of struck a note that it’s time. It’s time. It is time. So that information, to answer your question, will be all available on March 17th.
SPEAKER 03 :
And, folks, again, and the one thing, too, Paul, go ahead. I was just going to say, John, within minutes, if you’re on eSIM, we can literally transfer you over literally within minutes. Okay. Literally clicking the link, filling out a little bit of information, and you keep your same telephone number. It’s literally minutes away, literally minutes.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay. Dumb question on my part, Chris. I’ll ask this to you. Billing-wise, is it going to come through you, or is it going to still come through T-Mobile?
SPEAKER 04 :
Compact and T-Mobile are where all the billing starts with that same T-Mobile.
SPEAKER 08 :
T-Mobile to answer your question. Okay, perfect. Okay, because again, I think it’s a question others would have as well. Now, on top of, and Paul, I’m going to throw this back over to you since you’re the media, kind of the tech guy on this. One thing I think that you said, which was really key, is for everybody listening, this isn’t just about what your kids are seeing picture-wise. Right now, Paul, as you know, there is a huge anti-Semitic movement happening across the country. I talk about it almost daily on my program. And by the way, that’s happening even inside of the conservative circle, inside of even churches today. I mean, I never thought I’d live to say that, guys. I mean, I really mean that. I never thought I’d have to be dealing with this on my program. I’ve been on air 12 years. I never thought I would deal with this 12 years ago, but we’re dealing with it now, even inside of the church, and it’s high time for that to stop as well, Paul.
SPEAKER 03 :
Ah, now you’re getting into a wonderful subject for us. We launch Radiant Mobile on Easter Day. We’re doing 24 hours of Jesus. I have made one rule with my team. I don’t want to hear about Radiant Mobile. We’re not signing up people on that day. We’re going to be one of the first products ever that launches, but we’re not here to talk about the product. We’re going to talk for 24 hours. and content for 24 hours, 24 hours of Jesus, period. 30 days later… We are launching the Dome, the Dome. And the Dome is for our Jewish brothers and sisters. So we have duplicated Radiant Mobile for our Jewish brothers and sisters that launch 30 days later. Same cybersecurity, same parental control, but all Jewish content. So Easter Sunday, Radiant Mobile. It’s called Lag Bomer for the Jewish brothers and sisters. That launches on May 5th. 30 days later. So we are doing something very powerful, very profound for our Jewish brothers and sisters.
SPEAKER 08 :
Guys, this is awesome. When I saw the media stuff that goes out and I get to read different things, I thought, man, yeah, this is perfect. I want to get you guys on air. This is right up the alley of the majority of listeners that I’ve got, especially those that have kids. And, A, I appreciate what you guys are doing. I’d love to have you back as things get launched and we can even talk about it a little bit further. And we’ll be in touch. We’ll be in touch on some other things as well. But, guys, I really appreciate it. Chris, I’ll say goodbye to you. Thank you so much for all that you’re doing. Paul, the same. Thank you, John. No, guys, thank you. I appreciate it very much. Whatever we can do to help, please let us know, okay?
SPEAKER 03 :
God bless you, sir. God bless you, sir.
SPEAKER 08 :
God bless you guys as well. Appreciate all you’re doing. You bet. You guys keep it up. We’ll have another update on that as we get a little further along. And, again, the website, and it’s just a landing page. Keep in mind, this is in process as we speak, so it’s just a landing page. It’s RadiantMobile.com. RadiantMobile.com. Go check it out, and we’ll have them back on as things get up and get launched. But it’s a great – how should I say this? SPEAKER 06 :
Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 08 :
and i’ve got more questions by the way for welcome back by the way but i’ve got more questions for uh those two but what i want to do just for those of you listening i want to get it launched watch how it works sounds like i can participate in it if i’d like to which i may very well because for me that’s an easy thing to do although maybe it’s not i don’t know i’m not one of those that uses my phone like a lot of people do so maybe it’s not an easy thing for me to do because I only do a few things with mine. Believe it or not, I’m not as much of a power user with my phone as you all would think. If I’m going to go do anything, I get on my laptop. I use my phone for texting, the text line here, of course. I’ll look up a few things on websites periodically, but I hate trying to look at little things on little screens. So I will typically, if I’m going to look up something major, I’ll go… jump on and do something on my actual computer so I’m not one where I do a whole lot when it comes to that on my phone I’m normally using it for phone calls messaging things like that yeah I’m a guy that actually still talks on the phone I know that’s a rarity. Very few people do. Even young people especially, they don’t know how to have a conversation on the phone. I do the majority of my coaching and things like that. Believe it or not, I still talk on the phone a lot. And I use my cell phone primarily when it’s all said and done. If you look at the hours of usage, my primary use is still on the phone. So I’m that guy. I’m still using it as a communication device that way. I realize I’m unique because most people do not. They’re using all the other apps and different things and so on, and I’m still a guy that does the majority of things on a phone talking on it, I guess. Growing up talking on the phone, I still talk on the phone. I don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call someone. I’m unique that way. Now, in some cases, depending on the person, I may send a text message on the front side and say, hey, can you take a quick phone call or can we have a chat or do whatever. I may do that. But I’ve got regularly scheduled things that I do on the phone on a routine basis. So anyways, I’m unique that way. So this will be interesting. I will follow along with these guys. I will – I will get with them and figure out exactly what can I do, and even my son Richard, because he’s got young kids, although they’re not in the cell phone usage yet, but we’re getting closer and closer to that. My other son does, so we may be talking about some of that as a family and just see how things go. go but very interesting by the way thank you for the text messages that i was able to actually ask them as far as how that goes so i am not sure again i will do more research some of you that are asking me some questions on you know how this whole thing is going how radiant mobile is going to work i will find out because i i really honestly folks i don’t know i’m not sure like anything else uh let them get launched let them get things rolling along get some bugs worked out of it And I’ll have them back on air and find out exactly how some of those things work as we move forward. But really great concept. I will say that. And, again, I don’t know all of the back end to this and how are they making money and how does all of that work. I didn’t get any of that with them because I figured I’ll let them get things launched and we’ll have them back on here in the next month or so after Easter and we’ll find out how things are actually going. But, again, RadiantMobile.com is their website. And you can go check things out there. All right. Here’s an interesting story. I think I’ve got a couple of minutes I can squeeze this in. Here’s a lady, a girl, I should say, McKenna. McKenna Simonson. She graduated with a 3.87 GPA.
SPEAKER 1 :
3.87.
SPEAKER 08 :
So almost a 4.0 GPA. But could barely read. Now she’s suing a school district in Washington. So… What do I want to say here? I’m trying to be as nice as I can. And I guess I’ll just say it. I’ve never been impressed by GPAs, especially coming from the public school. Doesn’t mean that I’ve ever been mean or rude to any students when you ask them, you know, well, what’s your grades like and this, that, and the other. I’ve never been mean or rude to anybody, but I’ve never really felt like, okay, so you’ve got a 4.0 GPA coming out of the public school system. Depending upon what public school system that is, in this particular case, she can’t read. Meaning, what good is a 3.87 GPA when you can’t read? Her quote is, you know, did you feel like they prepared you for life? And she’s like, not at all. I should have earned that diploma, not just something that really got me nowhere. In other words, she’s graduated, but she still can’t read. And yet, keep in mind, she’s got almost a 4.0 GPA. She has to enroll in a vocational program now, which helps transition special needs students into independent life because she can’t read. And remember, she’s got a GPA that’s almost 4.0. So it’ll be interesting to see in this particular situation how this lawsuit actually goes. But I’m here to tell you what, she’s not the only one. She’s not the only one. And some of you say, well, how do you know that? Because I coach businesses who hire lots of people, young people included, and you would be shocked. Well, some of you wouldn’t be. Some of you would be, though. You’d be shocked at the lack of ability to read by the majority of young people, especially. Now. The whole reading subject might be something I get into this next hour because you’d be surprised how many people aren’t proficient readers. I’ve had other people on that I’ve interviewed along those lines, but I’m here to tell you that we’re becoming less and less reader-ish. No, that’s not the right word, but you get where I’m going with that. We have less and less people with high-quality reading skills probably than we’ve ever had before. Paul Lundberger, my insurance broker, would love to help you with your insurance needs. Give Paul a call today, 303-662-0789.
SPEAKER 02 :

SPEAKER 06 :
Live and local, back to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 08 :
We are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Okay, next hour, Daniel Turner is going to join me here in just a few minutes. We’re going to talk about oil prices, and you’ve seen them go up and then down, and they’re actually coming down because, well, I’ll let him explain some of that when he comes on here at 4 o’clock.
