The conversation begins with an introspective moment: recognizing an underlying unease prevalent among people today. According to Dr. Scott, this discomfort stems from a healthcare system that prioritizes efficiency over patient care, a stark reflection of societal challenges that echo beyond just a clinic’s walls. This critique sets the stage for the episode’s broader theme—challenging the status quo.
As Health and Wellness Wednesdays unfolds, Dr. Scott and his colleague Katie introduce listeners to the innovative treatments offered at their clinic. Central to their method is ozone therapy, a standing testament against conventional pharmaceuticals. This approach revitalizes cells and combats infections more holistically, indicative of the clinic’s commitment to offering natural, healthier alternatives.
Dr. Scott’s recount of navigating his career post-Obamacare offers a vivid glimpse into the struggles independent doctors face. He articulates the consolidation trend in medical practices, largely necessitated by financial duress, that led many to abandon solo practices, contrasting sharply with his choice to go against the tide. This narrative resonates with audiences longing for a return to patient-focused care, free from the influences of big pharmaceuticals and insurance companies.
The episode doesn’t just highlight systemic issues; it also provides solutions. Katie explains ozone therapy in detail—how it utilizes an additional oxygen atom to bolster the body’s defense mechanisms against chronic illnesses. The resulting treatment is more than just medical relief; it’s a gateway to holistic healing.
Listeners are treated to firsthand accounts of the clinic’s impact, including a patient who shares her remarkable recovery story. Her vivid recount of illness and subsequent treatment shines light on how such innovative therapies can effectively address ailments conventional treatments often neglect.
The episode concludes on an inspiring note, with Dr. Scott affirming the promise of personalized care. Through partnerships like Health and Wellness Wednesdays, they are driving change, advocating for a future where healthcare truly caters to the individual’s needs—one patient at a time.

SPEAKER 05 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 05 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 05 :
Welcome to Health and Wellness Wednesdays on Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 05 :
I have what doctors call a little bit of a weight problem. I used to grab bear claws as a kid, two at a time, and I'd get them lodged right in this region here.
John Rush (Host) :
I'm sorry that I'm fat. All right. Welcome, everybody. Happy Wednesday, Health and Wellness Wednesday, Rush to Reason, Denver's Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. As I said all week long, Dr. Scott Faulkner with me today. So, Dr. Scott, welcome.
John Rush (Host) :
It's great to be back. Always a joy. Yes. And you brought somebody with you.
Katie (Host) :
Hello, everybody. My name is Katie. I am a native to Colorado. I'm really excited to be on the show today to talk to you guys about some cool things that we have at our clinic.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay. And you guys are adding some things. That's why Katie's here, right? Correct. Yeah. So, again, for all of you listening, I say this a lot, and I do mean this sincerely. You hear us talk a lot during Health and Wellness on Wednesdays. You hear us talk a lot with Dr. Kelly Victory about all things COVID-related and so on on Thursdays, and I say it a lot, and I really mean it. Dr. Scott is that person. person that we talk about on thursdays on a regular basis in fact i'll even get a lot of you emailing and have even before scott came along on hey where do i find a doctor that will do blah blah blah well we have that that's dr scott and as i've said numerous times he's and this is my catchphrase he's not beholden to big pharma or big insurance because you're out of all of that that's correct you do it way different than that
John Rush (Host) :
Right.
John Rush (Host) :
Well, and I hate to say this, but because in the insurance slash pharma world, there's no money in what you just said. Am I right? Yeah. That's really what it boils down to. Sorry.
John Rush (Host) :
That's where all the consolidation came into play.
John Rush (Host) :
Nothing against them, but is that for everyone?
John Rush (Host) :
It'll save you some money.
John Rush (Host) :
Makes sense. And I've heard people say the same thing. So, yes, fully understand that.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay, but how do you get thorough examinations and know the patient in that particular situation? You don't. You don't.
John Rush (Host) :
So that's just magnified.
John Rush (Host) :
Yep.
John Rush (Host) :
Nice.
John Rush (Host) :
Nice. Well, so people listen to the radio.
John Rush (Host) :
Well, thank you.
John Rush (Host) :
It is, but we've got great listeners, and they understand what we're talking about. We've garnered a lot of those listeners, and those listeners have even gone out and garnered other listeners because through COVID especially. I mean, what we've been doing on Thursdays all through COVID and really being that – anti-big government, big pharma on Thursdays talking about COVID. And that's where, for all of you listening, the way Scott and I met was through another individual that I'm good friends with. I actually coach this particular individual, and he happens to do a lot of stuff for Scott.
John Rush (Host) :
Yeah, so through the process of just one knows another, knows another, Scott and I had lunch one day, and it's like, why are we not furthering this relationship? Because we were all talking the same stuff.
John Rush (Host) :
And so that's where that relationship started for all of you listening. And that's how I met Scott. And that's why we are where we are today. And we've become not only is he my doctor, we've become great friends as well. And for those of you listening, I mean, again, I cannot speak highly enough about what Dr. Scott does and all the things that he does in the practice. And we're going to take a break. Sonia, if you're on the line, hang tight. We'll get to you in just one moment. But that's why you brought Katie also, because you guys are adding some things to the practice that we wanted to talk about today as well.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay, so hold that thought. We'll explain what all of that is. So you hang tight as well. We'll get to you in just one moment. Hi-5 Plumbing is next, folks. And Hi-5, don't forget, they've just added electrical to what they do as well. So doctors like Dr. Scott, they're growing also. They now do plumbing and electrical. Give them a call today, 877-WE-HI-5.
High Five (Advertisement) :

John Rush (Host) :
Listen online, klzradio.com. Back to Rush to Reason. All right, we are back, Rush to Reason, Denver's Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Okay, I'm going to ask Katie in a moment what is ozone therapy and all that. Before that, though, we had a text message come in. Okay. Have hearing problems due to what I believe is congestion behind my ears that I can't seem to get drained. Is that something that you can help with?
John Rush (Host) :
Thank you for the softball for Katie. And this just came in. This is one of my friends that just asked that question. Okay, well, ask Katie. Okay, so Katie.
Katie (Host) :
Yeah, so let's talk about just the beginning part of what ozone is, just so we have a good baseline of foundation. So ozone therapy, a lot of people can relate that to not necessarily great. You think ozone, you think pollutants.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right.
Katie (Host) :
Not exactly in this case. So when you use ozone in a therapeutic dose, it's incredibly beneficial. Very, very, very action-packed full of healing in all forms.
John Rush (Host) :
So what is it?
Katie (Host) :
So ozone is made up of three atoms. Oxygen we breathe, made up of two. Okay. That third atom essentially turns into like a powerhouse cell. So where it goes through, wakes up all the mitochondrial cells in your body, which are essentially your quote powerhouse cells. Wakes everything up, restores them, creates new life to them to be like, hey, let's start getting to work on fixing infections, diseases, cancers, things like that.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay.
Katie (Host) :
So when you introduce ozone, there's multiple different ways that you can introduce ozone therapy. You can do like a nasal insufflation. Say you have like a basic acute sinusitis. So we can infuse ozone, a small bit of ozone into each nair. say you have something a little bit more in depth, maybe COPD, emphysema, asthma, any kind of pulmonary issues, especially being mile high here. We have a lot of that.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right.
Katie (Host) :
So we can do dry here as well. A hundred percent. Right. Yep. We can inhale ozone. It has to be filtered and done correctly. Ozone, the gas itself, you don't want to inhale. So we have a safe procedure of how we do that. And then it can go into what's called MAH, major auto hemotherapy. So essentially what we do, we just connect an IV to you. We can either do an IV with, you know, whatever type of enhanced Myers cocktail or whatever kind of IV hydration you want prior to your treatment. And then we essentially blood dump out 250-ish cc's of blood. We then inject the bag with your blood with ozone. Once those ozone molecules bind, your blood becomes this beautiful bright crimson red color. We hang it back up, re-infuse it, so that way you have more of a systemic treatment, if you will. But for anything ear related, we could do an ear insufflation and it looks almost like a stethoscope. You just literally plug it in both ears and ozone will run through the ears, creating that ozone. Yep. Exactly. Creating that ozone where it's going through doing anti-inflammatory properties.
John Rush (Host) :
I have similar issues at times to what this texter is saying. And I know this texter personally, but I don't want to give names out because of medical things and so on. But in this particular case, I can relate to what he's saying.
John Rush (Host) :
I hear you. And I think because of being a Colorado native and our dryness, it's one of the things that I love about going to higher humidity, lower elevation areas, and sometimes even vacation-wise we'll plan that specifically because it's like, wait a minute, I get this nice week, 10-day relief from what we normally have here daily.
Katie (Host) :
Does that make sense? Yep, 100%.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay. Makes total sense. Yeah. Okay. So we've got, I think, somebody that wants to chime in on this as well. Sonia, welcome. How are you?
John Rush (Host) :
We're doing very well. So you are one of their patients, right, Sonia?
John Rush (Host) :
Okay. So first things first, does this stuff work?
SPEAKER 04 :
Right.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay. Really quick, I want to stop you for just one moment because there's a lot of folks listening. In fact, that's one of the questions that we get quite often, even on Thursdays, is how do you deal with long COVID? Not everyone has it, but some people have definitely been affected by that. And Scott, you and I have talked about this before, you know, one on one on the show. You can, to Sonia's point, you can handle that.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay. All right. Sorry to interrupt Sonia, but I want our listeners to all kind of under me. We know some of these stories, but listeners don't. So I just wanted to chime in there really quick.
John Rush (Host) :
Sure. Yeah, makes sense.
John Rush (Host) :
Yep.
SPEAKER 04 :
Makes sense.
John Rush (Host) :
Absolutely. No, I'm a big one on that. Absolutely. Absolutely. A, because of the intrusion of the surgery itself. And B, you know, Sonia, as you know, just I'm one where if you can avoid that at any cost, I still feel in the end, body-wise, you're much better off. Without a doubt.
John Rush (Host) :
That's right.
SPEAKER 04 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 04 :
Absolutely.
John Rush (Host) :
Great idea. Sonia, it's great. No, I appreciate you calling in. Great testimonial. I appreciate that very much.
John Rush (Host) :
That's awesome.
John Rush (Host) :
That's awesome. Thank you, Sonia. Appreciate it very much. We've got another call coming in. Blake, go ahead, sir.
Blake (Guest) :
Hello?
John Rush (Host) :
Hello, Blake. Hi, Blake.
Blake (Guest) :
How are you?
John Rush (Host) :
Good. Good.
Blake (Guest) :
I just wanted to say ozone therapy completely ruined my life. I'll never be the same. Everything is worse. Do not buy it. It's a scam. It gave me Wilkin syndrome. Everything is worse.
John Rush (Host) :
Gave you what?
Blake (Guest) :
Wilkin syndrome.
John Rush (Host) :
What is that? Can you explain what that is? I've never heard that.
Blake (Guest) :
Gives you scabs on your head.
John Rush (Host) :
Scabs on your head. Never heard that. You guys ever hear that?
Blake (Guest) :
No.
Blake (Guest) :
You're going to learn about it, buddy.
John Rush (Host) :
No, never heard of it.
Blake (Guest) :
No, I went to Turkey.
Katie (Host) :
A lot different in the U.S.
Katie (Host) :
No.
John Rush (Host) :
No, that makes sense. And those of you that are listening, and I make sure I say this correctly. Out-of-country procedures, are they all bad? I'm not going to make a blanket statement and tell you that every one of them is bad because I don't know. Are there some really good, solid doctors in other countries doing things that we don't do in the U.S.? Yes. Does that mean all of them are good and that all of them are doing exactly the same things that we would do here in the U.S.? The answer is of course not because they're not – quote unquote, regulated the same way that other, you know, or that we are here in the States. Am I saying, and I'm not a medical provider, but am I saying that correctly guys? Correct.
Katie (Host) :
Right. I think the big part of this too, is to make sure that you are going to somebody who has been trained to do this.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes.
Katie (Host) :
So if you're going to Joe Schmo, who is like, Hey, this is cool. Going to get this off Amazon. We'll try to figure this out. I mean, you need to go to somebody who has gone through the training, who has the certifications, who is very clear about how to do it top to bottom, left to right. You should always be making sure.
John Rush (Host) :
And we just heard a testimony along those lines as well.
Katie (Host) :
Yeah, that's unfortunate. I mean, that's not a fun situation.
John Rush (Host) :
No, I meant the one prior.
Katie (Host) :
Oh, yeah.
John Rush (Host) :
That's funny.
Katie (Host) :
It's great. Honestly, chronic fatigue, gone. I mean, there's so many things that it treats.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay, really quick, before we go to our next break, is there any age limit? In other words, does this work better if you're younger, older? Does it make any difference? Talk to me about that end of it.
Katie (Host) :
No, it's safe from pediatrics all the way to geriatrics. It's 100% safe for anybody. I mean...
John Rush (Host) :
As we get older, does it benefit us more? Yes.
Katie (Host) :
That's what I was just going to say. And we can get into that either now or later.
John Rush (Host) :
No, let's do that. Let's take a break. We'll come back and talk about that because there are a lot of you listening, I think, the whole energy sides of things. I mean, let's face it. As we age, I've said this especially after losing my mom here of late, time is a respecter of no one. It marches on no matter who we are. It's the one equality in life we all have 24 hours a day, and that day keeps going from one day to the next to the next to the next. And if we're blessed enough, I should say, to tarry that long, as time goes by, we age, correct? It's just one of those things in life that happens. And I also know that as I just turned 60 recently, We're not going backwards in time. We're progressing in time. And not that I feel, you know, way worse today than I did when I was, say, 40, because frankly, in my world, I don't. On the same token, I do a lot of things with Scott and you guys are able to help with all sorts of different things along those lines. And I do my very best. to eat right, stay in shape, do those things, to wear sharpness mind-wise, all of that, everything's going well. But you have to be – my point is you've got to be purposeful about these things as we age because it doesn't just happen naturally, especially in our world today. Am I right?
John Rush (Host) :
Right.
John Rush (Host) :
From the foods we eat to everything, what we consume, what we drink, all of that. Am I correct in saying that? That's correct. Okay. And that's what we do here, by the way, on Health and Wellness every single Wednesday. Hang tight. We'll come right back. Golden Eagle Financial is coming up next. John Rush (Host) :
All right, we are back, Health and Wellness Wednesday. We appreciate you guys listening and calling as well, and thank you so much for that 303-477-5600. If you need anything, by the way, from Dr. Scott, it doesn't have to be the ozone or the red light therapy or anything along those lines. If you just want to know about the stem cell treatment that Scott does or some of the cryo treatment or just regular general... I mean, Scott is a is an internal medicine board certified doctor where if you've got any kind of an ailment and you want him to be your doctor, the reality is you can do that. I mean, you can call Scott. And this is something I always explain during the week. Probably need to do a better job of it. You can go and see Scott the first time because some of you might live in Northland. I'll pick a faraway north city. Bertha, even. You live way up north, and you're going to travel all the way to Castle Rock. Yes, you are for the first visit. You have to. You can't do it any other way. No. Travel all the way down, see Scott, spend those couple of hours initially, and you could just have, like me, no problems at all. You've lived life great. You don't take medication to stay alive. You're living life to its fullest, but you still need a doctor. That's right. We all do. You go fill out forms at times, and who's your primary care physician? You have to have the ability to put something in that slot. Who's that going to be? In this case, it can be Scott. Travel all the way to Castle Rock, sit down, have that conversation, and let's say six months goes by and you don't need anything. By the way, count your blessings. That's right. You're healthy. Everything's going great. But now all of a sudden you get an infection of some kind, sinus infection, whatever. Mm-hmm. All I have to do is call you, right?
John Rush (Host) :
Do we have to drive all the way to Castle Rock for that to get taken care of?
John Rush (Host) :
And I can testify to this because my wife is also Scott's patient. And we had a situation, oh, I don't know, last spring, I want to say, Scott, where my wife got a really bad cold. It may have been COVID. It may have been who knows. I mean, you don't test, so who knows what it was. Don't care. At that point, it was last spring and got a cold, basically. But a cough developed from that. And it was one of those coughs that just wouldn't go away. The bloody thing just kept hanging on. Finally, to the point where it wasn't so much her, it was me texting Scott, how do we get rid of this bloody cough? This thing's driving me crazy. It wasn't like it was a cough that was going to kill her or anything along those lines. It was just that annoyance, raspy, every now and again she'd get into this even coughing fit. It's like, okay, how do we get rid of this? Well, we were out of the country at that time. So Scott's like, go find blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, OK, so guess what? We go, we find that, we do that. And I'm not joking. Three days later, that thing is gone. Gone. So that's what you get with Scott that, by the way, you're probably not going to get from another provider. Now, you may, but most likely you're not going to get that from another provider.
John Rush (Host) :
Correct.
John Rush (Host) :
In our case, I was like tired of the cough already. So no, I didn't want to wait three more weeks. And she didn't either. Now, some of you would say, well, why didn't you do that before you left? Well, I don't know, because you guys all know how that is. It's a little cough. It's not a big deal. You travel to another place. The elevation back, Katie, what you were saying earlier, elevation, humidity, other things change. And maybe that even changed the cough. And in that case, maybe even made it a little worse. Sometimes you'd think it would make it better. But in this case, it actually made it worse. So in that case, Scott's like, yeah, go find this. And off you go. And yes, it worked. Yes, it did. Perfect. So that's the care you can get from Scott is where I'm going with this, that you're typically not going to find other places. Correct.
John Rush (Host) :
In my case, it was probably a dinnertime text, which was even probably what Scott's so gracious, just go do such and such, you know? And I, you know, and I feel bad tech because I know what it's like to be on that side of the aisle as well. But Scott's very gracious. And yeah, it was most likely a dinnertime text on, you know, how do we get this thing taken care of? And we did.
John Rush (Host) :
Go over here. For me, it's easy. Right. Yeah. And it's no different with you on that end.
John Rush (Host) :
And a lot of you that text me for car things, think of it that way. You know what? That's a great comparison. I did this today. Somebody was asking me about something getting fixed on their 4Runner and how do I do such and such. So I shoot a quick email back and here's how you would handle that and so on and so forth. It's the same thing you guys do with me when you're asking car questions that you're going to do with Scott on the medical side. Right. It's no different. Right. Let's face it.
John Rush (Host) :
unreasonable most of the time it's like okay you're freaking out for nothing okay good perfect and again for those of you listening i just want to throw that out there because i think sometimes there's some confusion on yeah i'd love to see dr scott but he's all the way in castle rock well other thing too to keep in mind he is now as time goes by that may change as far as other locations and things along those lines go as well so my thought is just get involved now and as time goes by that might actually change anyways
John Rush (Host) :
You'll have to add other staff and do other things and grow accordingly.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay.
John Rush (Host) :
Gotcha. I don't blame you for that. All right. Or red light therapy. I know that's something else that we were going to talk about that you guys are going to bring into the office. What is that?
Katie (Host) :
Yeah, so red light therapy, what we're considering is it's a 10 spectrum. So you're going to get 10 different, essentially, spectrums of the red light therapy. So red light therapy is great for collagen production, anti-inflammatory. I mean, it's fantastic. You'll see a lot of skin cares that.
John Rush (Host) :
Yeah, no, I think for a lot of people listening, especially ladies that are out there listening, you guys probably haven't heard this, but most ladies have heard about this because it's big in the spa world, correct?
Katie (Host) :
It is athletes who are training, same thing. I mean, you have a good combination of if you do cryo and then you do the red light. Yeah, I mean, it's honestly, it's beneficial for anybody.
John Rush (Host) :
So what is it actually doing?
Katie (Host) :
So what it's going to be doing is stimulating all of your, same thing, immune system. It's going to be increasing your collagen production, anti-inflammatory. So it's really going to start kick-starting your body back into that healing process. So, again, very safe.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay, dumb question on my part. Has this stuff been around for a long time? Is it getting more sophisticated? Where did it come from initially? I mean, why didn't we have this 50 years ago?
Katie (Host) :
Well, ozone therapy has been around for 150 years.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay.
Katie (Host) :
So this is not new medicine. Like this is, like you said, a big reason why. it doesn't get out is because there's no big pharma attached to it. So it's a very, you know, alternative medicine that works. Um, as Sonia can even just with, you know, the few treatments that she's had, um, she's even noticing the benefits of it. Um, red light therapy, same thing. Red light therapy is a little bit newer. Um, but they have now gotten to the point that it's been around long enough that they've perfected it. And what is the best, you know, therapeutic level for it?
John Rush (Host) :
Okay. Yes. Which as we age, those start to get tired as well, right?
John Rush (Host) :
Okay.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay. So a lot of this has to, again, for those of you listening, we talk about these things on Wednesdays pretty thoroughly. We've talked a ton about, you know, how do you stay healthy or how do we avoid some, you know, you guys have heard me talk to all the different experts that are out there. A lot of us have cancer cells in us already. Most people, well, I believe all people do. Mm-hmm. The reality is how well is your immune system at fending those off? And I know for a fact from having my brother pass away from brain cancer several years ago and then my dad had colon cancer a while back, I will tell you one of the first things that the medical providers, the doctors will do when you've been diagnosed with cancer is take you off of sugar. First thing that happens, your diet changes automatically. Well, it should, not everybody does, but you're supposed to, and that tells you that, okay, wait a minute, for years, in fact, our food pyramid way back in the day, because of big sugar, was designed in such a way that wheat and flour and some of these other things, salt, by the way, was bad, sugar good. Actually, no. That was wrong. It was the sugar lobby that did a lot of that. Work back in the day and what we have found since then is no, in fact, that's probably why we have some of the highest cases of cancer now we've ever had as a country is because of the things that we're talking about right now. So, yeah, there's all sorts of things we talk about. And the reality is everything Scott just said. Do I believe in that? Yeah, because I interview not only him, but all sorts of other experts. I've been doing it now for eight plus years in this hour. And everything, Scott, you're saying fits into all the other, you know, from brain health on down. All the different experts that interview would say the exact same thing you're talking about.
Katie (Host) :
Don't trust me gambling.
Katie (Host) :
Yeah, seriously. I mean, the benefits of doing it are just, I mean, you can go from anything from acute sinusitis to oncology patients in stage four cancer.
SPEAKER 04 :
Wow.
Katie (Host) :
I mean, Alzheimer's, I mean, dementia, small things like just right off the top, autoimmune diseases, injuries like chronic fatigue, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's, inflammation, Lyme disease, tinnitus. Um, like long hauling code, like anything that you could quite literally, the list is endless because it will find some way to benefit your body. Your body can, and as you get older, your cells, you lose that elasticity, that permeability. What ozone does is goes in and essentially restructures reinvigorates them and is like, cool, let's start working on infections. So, yeah, I mean, okay. It's endless. Yeah, truly.
John Rush (Host) :
Well, you just got an appointment a moment ago from somebody we were asking earlier about that just made an appointment for Friday. So you'll actually get to see that person, a good friend of mine, on Friday.
John Rush (Host) :
So you get to meet Katie. There you go. All right. We're going to take a quick break. We'll come back. We've got one little segment left as soon as we come back. Roof Savers of Colorado coming up. Dave Hart, by the way, who would love to take care of your roof. And much like we've been talking about with ozone therapy, Dave threw the Roof Max product. And I talked to somebody today about that, this thinking of having Dave do about 25 different roofs. Does this product work and extend the life and rejuvenate your roof? Absolutely. It's almost like this therapy that we're talking about with Dr. Scott for your roof. That's Dave when it comes to your roof. Roof Savers of Colorado, 303-710-6916.

All right, 45 degrees out, going to be colder this evening, and then we've got some really cold weather coming down into the 20s next week. If you're having trouble with your furnace, give Cub Creek a call today. They'll be out and take care of it. KLZRadio.com is where you find them.
Veteran Windows & Doors (Advertisement) :
Cub Creek Heating and AC's Fall Tune-Up will ensure that you're not left out in the cold when the freezing wet Colorado weather hits. There's nothing worse than expecting your furnace to work when it counts or finding that there was an issue when you turned it off last year. And the only way to know it will work is by getting a tune-up now. After you turn the system off for the summer, critters can get into some parts, or connections can corrode, or one-off situations happen like an itsy-bitsy spider stuck in your burner can prevent them from starting. That's a true story. These are all preventable things that Cub Creek focuses on when they tune up your system for the season. Rheem Certified Pro Partners Cub Creek Heating and AC don't upsell. And what you're quoted is what you pay. So today is the day for you to have the peace of mind of a working furnace before the winter starts. Contact Cub Creek today for your appointment and for $50 off a fall tune-up on klzradio.com's advertisers page. Suck it up, buttercup. Back to Rush to Reason.
John Rush (Host) :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver's Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560 Health and Wellness Wednesday. Dr. Scott Faulkner with us, which I should have given his number out earlier. I will now. And you can always find Dr. Scott, by the way, on the website. So that's easy. You can always go to either my website, RushToReason.com or KLZRadio.com. But just call 303. 663-6990. So if you want to get ahold of Scott directly, that's the easiest way to do it. 303-663-6990. But he's literally on every single website of mine. So if you find me, you're going to find Dr. Scott. Doesn't matter if it's on KLZs or any of the other four websites I have. If you find me, you're going to find Dr. Scott. It's really that simple. So you cannot not find him. That's my point. Right.
Katie (Host) :
no excuse you find me you'll find scott but that's an easy way to do this call that as well all right you've got one other thing you guys are thinking about or you're going to add with some of the remodeling you're doing talk about that katie yeah so that's going to be a hawk at ozone um sauna so essentially you're going to be sitting um from your neck down in this sauna um that you can have you know however warm okay decide that's therapeutic for you whether you want to just completely sweat everything out um just all in the same of ozone it's going to do the same thing but just all throughout your body so say you have like chronic eczema all throughout your body this is a perfect treatment for that um releases releases essentially any toxins that you might have and again anti-inflammatory uh it it's it's great it's a 30-minute session um it's
John Rush (Host) :
Would you do that in combination with the other you were talking about? You can. Or would this be an either or?
Katie (Host) :
You can.
John Rush (Host) :
You could do both. You could do both.
Katie (Host) :
Yeah, you can do both. I mean, there's nothing that says that you cannot.
John Rush (Host) :
Essentially, one would be coming from the inside out. This is outside in.
Katie (Host) :
Well, same thing, right?
John Rush (Host) :
Because your skin is your biggest organ.
John Rush (Host) :
100%.
John Rush (Host) :
It is. Okay. Right.
Katie (Host) :
So say you're like, you want to treat that. I mean, it's all in the same, like if you want ozone water while you're waiting. Okay. So you're going to be working anywhere from, you know, tooth decay or dental infections all the way, you know, into your esophagus, into your stomach, into your intestines. So it, it doesn't really, it doesn't affect you in a negative way whatsoever. It's only positive.
John Rush (Host) :
Any... Maybe a dumb question on my part. Anybody this wouldn't work for. No. Literally, you want to give it a whirl, give it a whirl. Correct.
Katie (Host) :
Yeah. Only thing is.
Katie (Host) :
Yeah. Yeah. Only thing is, is if you are choosing to do like an MAH as the blood treatment. If you're choosing to do MAH, if you're on a blood thinner, I just need to know about that.
John Rush (Host) :
Right. So you know how to handle that, right? Right.
Katie (Host) :
Changes my dosing for, for what I do. But other than that, no, there's nothing that, I mean, you can do this for any, any, how often?
John Rush (Host) :
That's another question I have. So if you did this one week, is there a certain amount of time we wait to do the next one? How does that work?
Katie (Host) :
So it depends what you're treating, right? So if this is an acute thing, we basically will kind of go day by day. How are you feeling? Is this doing a positive thing? Are we still getting to where we're at 100%? Is this a chronic thing that you've been dealing with your whole life? So your treatment plan really is going to be tailored based off of how long you've had these conditions.
John Rush (Host) :
All right. Last question for me. How does this work in combination with the stem cell treatment that we've talked about many, many times? And I know there are certain things that are certain people that benefit more from it than others would. Can this work in combination with that?
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay. Makes total sense. Guys, again, Dr. Scott, 303-663-6990. You can find him, again, klzradio.com, rushtoreason.com, all of my other websites, .com. Any place you find me, you can find Dr. Scott. And guys, thank you. Katie, nice meeting you.
Katie (Host) :
You as well.
John Rush (Host) :
Scott, as always.
John Rush (Host) :
Okay, I'll get you guys dates on that for sure as well. And I'll be talking about that in the weeks ahead as well. So guys, that's it for this hour. I'll be right back. Don't go anywhere. Hour two is next. Rush to Reason, Denver's Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 05 :
Average Guys. Average Guys.
John Rush (Host) :
Average Guys.
