Tanners Record To Date: 120-73 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯‼️

We went 14-2 for Week 14. WOW!

There were 12 games that were within one score. Now, some of those games it may have only been a one score game at the end, but still decently close.

I guess making NFL picks form the airport is the best way! We saw a crazy Monday night game between he Browns and Broncos and for a second, I thought the Browns might win.

BUT, Jameis will be Jameis and he always finds a way to screw it up it seems.

The Lions almost coughed up that Thanksgiving game to the Bears, but the Bears shot themselves in the foot. That clock management was worse than when Nathaniel Hackett was the Broncos’ head coach. I mean, for 32 seconds to run off the clock and you have a time out, just to throw a deep shot that wasn’t even in catching distance is some bush-league clock management.

The Steelers versus Bengals game was a barn-burner, if Burrow doesn’t have three turnovers maybe the Bengals win. The Chiefs survived kind of a bogus play to end their game against the Raiders. I swear, the Chiefs are going to get got at some point, right?!?

If they would’ve fallen the couple times they should have (versus the Broncos, Bengals, and Raiders) they would be battling for the division with the Chargers and Broncos. Hopefully, my Chargers can be the second team to beat them this year on Sunday night!

Lastly, is Baker Mayfield not a stud?!? He and Bucky Irving wielded the Bucs to that overtime win. Baker had a hamstring problem it seemed but was still able to scramble 12 yards for a crucial first down.

Let's get into week 14:

packers
lions

The Packers and Lions keep winning. If the Packers can win they have a chance to win the division.

The Lions are the best team in football, but their performance against the Bears left some Lions’ fans worried. The Packers played a solid game against the Dolphins. They got five sacks and held the Dolphins to 39 rushing yards. The Packers had 114, but Josh Jacobs was held to 43 yards on 19 carries. This may have been Jordan Love’s best game considering he had no turnovers and threw at a 75% clip.

I think the Lions will play a lot better than they did against the Bears. Lions win 28-21

jaguars
titans

The Titans may have a chance to win this game, but who really cares?

Trevor Lawerence got his head taken off by Azeez Al-Shaair and should sit out the rest of the year, because the Jags are terrible.

The Titans are terrible as well. Mac Jones is the Jags’ backup and I expect him to play decently after putting together a solid game once Lawerence went out with 200+ passing yards and two touchdowns. Jags win 20-17

jets
dolphins

The Dolphins were hot until going up to frigid Green Bay.

I feel as if I say this every week, but the Jets are abysmal. They can score points, but their defense is a shell of itself even though they still have all of their big names. Rodgers throwing interceptions like never before, also doesn’t really help their cause. Dolphins win 27-21

falcons
vikings

The Falcons have lost three straight and are only ahead of the Bucs in the division because they have beaten them twice. The Vikings keep winning close games, and this team reminds me of their team from two years ago that lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Considering the Vikings will most likely be a Wild Card team, that could still happen, but I am more confident int hem this year. Sam Darnold has maybe the biggest second wind of a former top five quarterback pick ever. Vikings win 27-25

saints
giants

The Saints should win this game. The Giants are terrible other than Malik Nabers and a few defensive players. The Saints keep finding Valdes-Scantling for touchdowns which blows my mind after the number of mishaps he has had in his career. The Saints are just better and win 28-17

panthers
eagles

The Eagles should win this game by at least 10. The Panthers have found some momentum though, and Bryce Young seems to be back on schedule for a developing young quarterback. Saquon Barkley will be too much to handle as the Eagles win 31-19

browns
steelers

This matchup was intriguing with the blizzard that passed through Cleveland that night.

However, I think the Steelers defense will swarm Jameis and force him into some bad decisions.

Russ also had one of best career games against the Bengals this last week. Steelers win comfortably 30-20

raiders
buccaneers

The Raiders play tough, but that doesn’t always work in their favor. The Bucs need wins as they battle the Falcons for the NFC South. I like Baker and the Bucs to win 27-17

seahawks
cardinals

A big NFC West matchup here. The Seahawks are 7-5 whereas the Cardinals are 6-6. The Rams are 6-6 as well but playing the red-hot Bills. A Seahawks win would most likely put them up two games in the division. The Cardinals were on a four-game win streak, but were dominated by the Seahawks and narrowly lost to the Vikings this last week. The Seahawks just have more weapons and win 25-20

bills
rams

The Bills are a top three team in the NFL, and are fighting for the number one seed in the AFC, let alone league.

The Rams really need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. I think the Bills’ versatility both on offense and defense will cause the Rams issues. Bills win 27-17

bears
49ers

I don’t think the 49ers even want to make the playoffs. This team is worn out, injured, and deflated. I kind of have a sneaky feeling the Bears might win.

After their disastrous loss to the Lions, they fired their head coach. That means there is some new energy in the bears’ locker room hopefully.

The 49ers have a slim chance of winning the division but it’s a long shot. Bears win 27-2

chargers
chiefs

If the Chiefs lose to my Chargers, I believe the bills will technically have the right to the a first-round bye. The Chiefs keep getting calls, and the Swifties’ luck is on their side.

I will pray for the Chargers to win, but after their performance a couple of weeks ago against the Ravens. Chiefs win 24-2e

Never forget ☠️

bengals
cowboys

The Cowboys are still fighting, but Ceedee Lamb seemingly getting benched was not a good look. The Bengals keep scoring a ton of points, but their defense let’s up just a few more points. The Bengals should only be drafting O-lineman and defensive players this upcoming draft.

It is something special to see how well the offense drives down the field, and then watch the defense give up a 60+ yard touchdown the next drive. Bengals win 34-2

Bye weeks:

Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, Baltimore Ravens, and Houston Texans
