Because for me, I can tell you my favorite team in the playoffs. It's anyone playing against the Lions. So I want to ask you, is your favorite team anyone playing against the Chiefs?

Yeah, well, Andy, I'm going to – yeah, because the Lions I'm actually going for. I would love to see them win a Super Bowl. You'll get that poor city off the – Andy, but that's like hating the Chargers, right? Like they've never won anything. They've never done anything. As much as I don't like Baltimore for a variety of reasons, I would take them winning the Super Bowl. Even Philly. I really don't like Philly. Mainly, you talk about the Lions coach. I do not like Nick Sirianni and the Lions. I don't like their coach. I don't like that team. I'll just And I've got friends that are Philly fans, so you'll take it for what it's worth.

I will say this. I mean, if you're talking about somebody who's really downtrodden, we'd want to root for the Rams. Look at their city. It's gone. I mean, out of these eight teams, only one of them has a city that's literally gone. But go ahead.

But they at least won one recently, right? So they've got a little bit to save. And let's be honest, Andy, L.A. is no stranger to championships. Maybe not in football, but in terms of championships, obviously between the Lakers, even in hockey with the Kings and obviously the Dodgers, they are no stranger to actually winning. I mean, again, the Chargers, but they're not really L.A. I mean, they're still San Diego, let's be honest. But, yeah, again, Andy, I don't care who wins this weekend. If you told me the Chiefs, which I think they still will, if they lost, I would be ecstatic. And as much as I'm with you on Dan Campbell, I think he's a little bit much, and he probably could learn when to not go for it, when to not run up the score. And I guess it will remain to be seen if he learns his lesson here in a few short weeks. You live in Detroit, Andy. I mean, it's almost as bad as living in Green Bay.

Green Bay is actually a really nice town. Green Bay is probably, out of all 32 cities, the one that people like us would most enjoy living in. I've gone there many times. It's a much more relaxed, friendly environment than all these big cities. It's a lot like Fort Collins, basically.

I mean, just Detroit and the downtroddenness of Detroit and everything else, that is not my cup of tea. But, again, I don't even think the Lions have ever even been to a Super Bowl, have they? No.

Well, I'll tell you what. Let's jump in on these because three of them look pretty easy to pick. The last one's the only tough one, so let's jump in. You ready? Ready? Let's go for it. All right. Music, please. Here we go. The Texans pulled off a minor surprise. Not big. That was the closest game going in last week. They are on the road. The Chiefs are favored by eight, which with the way the Chiefs have been playing this year, eight is a big number.
SPEAKER 20 :
It is a big number, Andy. It's a really big number. Yeah. Like you say, based on how they've been playing. I feel like that's going to be another situation, especially because they had a week off, Andy, and granted they got healthy and they needed to. I think that they're going to start slow. I don't think they'll start super fast. I think the Texans are going to be warmed up, per se. And, you know, in these situations, Andy, you've got to put pressure on the higher seed to perform, and I think the Texans can do that. Now, if you get C.J. Stroud of the regular season, this game's going to be over really quickly, right? But if you get C.J. Stroud from last week and even last year, I think you've got to – this has actually got a sneaky chance to be a really competitive game. Now, with saying that, Andy, I don't – I don't see him. Like I said before, I want to hope with every last ounce of my body that the Texans can pull it out. And I will be ecstatic if they do. I just don't think they have the horses. And the Chiefs have been there, Andy. They've been there too many times. They know how to do it. They know how to beat people. And especially, Andy, if this comes down to Patrick Mahomes. Four minutes on the clock. He's going to drain it. They're going to kick the game-winning field goal. So they may not cover Andy, but the Chiefs will win.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, I agree. I think this game, I think the Chiefs really take over in the second half and just blow them out. That's what I expect. But if there's one chance I'm going to give, you know, the puncher's chance for the Texans, it's their pass rush. The only way the Texans win this game is if their pass rush replicates what they did last week. And that Chiefs offensive line is not great. It's good, but it's not great. Agreed? But we'll both take the Chiefs.
SPEAKER 20 :
I agree. Well, and Andy, the Chiefs are starting Joe Thune, who is an all-pro offensive guard who's done admirable at tackle. But yes, that will be the key, Andy. Can he maintain his level of play that he played over the past few weeks? And they obviously not lose it on the interior. That will be something to watch, not necessarily this game, but obviously if they play the Bills or the Ravens. later on. So we'll see. It'll be interesting.
SPEAKER 15 :
I agree. Okay, so we'll both take the Chiefs. Moving along, this one's easy. The Commanders, hey, good for them. I picked them last week. They did win. They're going up against the Lions. Lions are the best team in the NFL, bar none, by a long stretch, I think. Lions favored by 9.5. This game, to me, is already over. I mean, do you give Washington any chance at all? Because, really quick, and I just got to say it, The big key going into these playoffs is the offensive lines of these teams. And the two teams that have dominant offensive lines are the Lions and the Eagles. And I just don't see a defense really being able to get to those quarterbacks.
SPEAKER 20 :
No, not until maybe the Super Bowl, Andy, right? Especially for those two teams, the NFC, the Lions. I know they're starting to get a few people back, but they're still down. So for them to get to the Eagles, I agree with you, Andy. I think the Commanders have a chance because I think Jalen Daniels is pretty exciting, but I also think the Lions are going to throw some different looks. I think that they're tougher, and I just think the Commanders are a young team, and while I think a young team can be exciting and can be a good thing, eventually you're going to kind of come up against a team that just is a little bit tougher, a little bit older, a little bit more seasoned, and that seems like Detroit to me. So as much as you don't want to see it, and I know it pains you to pick them the same way it pains me to pick the Chiefs, I'm going to go with the Lions.
SPEAKER 15 :
Oh, I'm going with the Lions, Big. And here's why. Jared Goff is the ultimate game manager quarterback. And when you put a game manager quarterback behind that line, he's going to cut you to ribbons. I think this is over quick. I think right out of the gate, he's going to cut up the commanders and just rip them to shreds. He's got too much time to throw. That's all there is to it. Just too much time. I'll take the Lions next game. The Rams! Hey, good for them. They won. They had a tough game against the Vikings. They made it not tough. They beat them up. The Rams' defensive line was incredible against the Vikings. I got news for them. They're about to go up against an incredible offensive line in the Eagles. The Eagles are favored by six and a half.
SPEAKER 20 :
Yeah, Andy, it'll be interesting, to be honest with you, because the Rams are sort of that feel-good sort, but they've got the quarterback, right? I mean, the Eagles do, too. Don't get me wrong. Jalen Hurts. can play well if he plays within himself. But the Rams, Matt Stafford, Andy, that dude, when he's got healthy receivers, and granted, I'm with you on everything else. He needs the help, and that team is not a great team, right? There's still some question marks for me. And while I think the Eagles will pull out, Andy, and here's part of the reason why, Andy, is the weather, right? The weather in that game is going to be cold. frigid. It may even be snowing. And when you're coming from L.A., yes, it gets to you, especially cross-country. You're going across that many time zones. And then you're going to play in frigid weather. It usually isn't a good combination. However, Andy, I could see the Rams keeping this close just because I think Stafford is on one of those special little trips here. Now, again, it could come crashing down, and I think it likely does. But I think it may be a closer game than we anticipate. Yeah.

First of all, if you switched the quarterbacks, if Stafford was on the Eagles, I would pick them to beat Detroit and win the Super Bowl. He's not on the better team. This game is in the cold. What is that? Who wins in the cold? The trenches. Eagles have an offensive line that is a juggernaut. Okay? Just like the Lions. Both offensive lines are juggernauts. They just mow teams over. And that's how I'm going to take the Eagles in the cold. I think Saquon has a lot of fun. Okay, last game. This is the one close one of the weekend. The Ravens. are favored by one going in against the Bills. The Bills had their way with Denver. Can they do it again?

Oh, man, Andy. Again, the Bills offensive line is playing really well right now. So is the Ravens. Another cold game, Andy. I think it's supposed to be, you know, I don't even know if it's quite as cold as here this weekend, but it's still supposed to be cold. You know, it is Buffalo, likely snowing, right? Buffalo in January.

I like both these quarterbacks in the cold. These are tough quarterbacks. They're both good in the cold.

I do. I like Josh Allen more just because I think he's built for the cold, but I also know Lamar Jackson feels like he's on a mission this year. You've got Derrick Henry, and I think their record, or Derrick Henry's team's record, when he runs for, I think it's 100 yards, is like 22-2 or something. It's just insane, or maybe even higher than that probably, right? It's an insane number. They've got to get him going. As much as I want the Bills to win this game, Andy, I think it's going to be the Ravens. And I think so because I think the Ravens are motivated. They're on a mission. The only thing that gets them, Andy, in my opinion, is Josh Allen is used to being the hero for Buffalo. Lamar Jackson, his biggest issues in the playoffs has been he's tried to be the hero too often. And I think if he tries to be the hero rather than letting the game come to him, because he had a... several heck of a place last week right you know what i don't think they stayed in the pocket mover i did think he kind of let the game come to him which should be a good learning thing for probably probably playing the chief next week if he lets the game come to think that the ravens are a more complete team and should win but if he doesn't i could absolutely see the bills or the bills pulling it out but i'm gonna go with the ravens on the road andy i just think it's their time

You know, it's a weird game because you've got two teams that are not that good on defense, and yet the weather is going to play defense for them, right? Against two explosive offenses, great quarterbacks. I think I'm just going to say this. I think I agree with you. I think the Ravens win, and I think Lamar is going to let the game go to him and then go to someone else. He's going to spend half the time handing off.

think they're going to run them over they should andy well again derrick henry trying to tackle derrick henry and the pain much less than you know 10 degrees does not feel fun and so yeah they the ravens would be good to run the ball 35 times throw it 25 and and you know and and hopefully you'll hold on at the end because at the same time and i told you this earlier this year The other thing that makes me nervous, Josh Allen seems like Patrick Mahomes from a few years ago where just no matter what you do, you can't stop the guy. So it'll be interesting what happens, but, yep, I think it'll be the best game of the weekend.
