(Worthy News) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out dozens of attacks from Monday night into early Tuesday in the most extensive Israeli airstrikes in Syria in over two months, striking military installations affiliated with the newly installed Syrian regime.
The recent Israeli airstrikes, the most significant in months, targeted Syria’s expanding military infrastructure, including radar, aerial detection systems, headquarters, and weapons depots under the new regime.
The IDF explained, “the presence of these systems in southern Syria poses a threat to Israel and to IDF operations. These targets were struck to eliminate future threats.”
Syrian reports detail at least 41 airstrikes targeting military sites across the Damascus countryside, including outposts in Sa’sa and Qatana, positions in Daraa, the 90th Brigade in Quneitra, and areas near Homs and the Lebanese border.
