Mission of Hope and Mercy

22025 Mission of Hope and Mercy

Mission of Hope & Mercy

Apostolate of Our Lady of Hope

Father Andre
Father Andre

Dear Friends, Faithful Donors, and Spiritual Family in Christ,

You’ve been our friend and faithful supporter of our mission over the years. Thank you!

As we enter this sacred and blessed season of Easter, I wish to extend to you the warmest of blessings for Holy Week, and the joyous celebration of the Resurrection of Christ our Lord.

Christ is Risen! He is Truly Risen! Alleluia! Happy Easter to all!

Over the past month, while traveling in the United States to advocate on behalf of all those we serve for our Lord through His Mission of Hope and Mercy, I have had the privilege of meeting with many faithful individuals—those who are spiritually committed to the work of the Gospel and actively involved in keeping the light of Christ burning brightly in our communities.

During the same time, the Mission of Hope and Mercy continued its important work in Lebanon, reaching out to children, impoverished families, the sick, students, and teachers in both private Christian and public schools. We are also expanding our efforts into regions of Africa. We humbly ask for your support in sustaining these life-changing programs.

In this season of renewal and Resurrection, I ask you to consider joining us in a special mission of hope. We are raising vital funds for critical programs that provide food, medicine, urgent surgeries, education, and advocacy to those in dire need. Our essential goal is to raise $500,000 to support the ongoing work of the Mission of Hope and Mercy, primarily in Lebanon and now in Africa, serving our Christian brothers and sisters and persecuted ministers and dedicated laity—who are working to spread the Gospel of Life and Salvation. Many are being persecuted without cause.

You may have heard of the recent killings by the resurgence of ISIS. This threat is real, and it is growing with devastating harm surfacing in areas that have not seen this in centuries. In 2024, according to OpenDoors, it is estimated that 4,998 Christians were killed in Nigeria. This marked the highest number in one region across the globe. At the same time, many millions have lost their homes and have now found themselves as refugees in foreign lands. This is where our mission comes in and where you help provide the critical relief for these dear souls in need.

My dear and faithful friend in Christ, we desperately need your help and support for our mission. Your contribution of $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more will help us provide this life-saving and sustaining help and hope.

As we celebrate the Resurrection, let us remember that this is a time for all Christians to come together in unity whether Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, or of any Christian denomination, we are called to serve as the body of Christ, reaching out with love and compassion to those in need.

This Easter season presents an extraordinary opportunity for us, as American Christians, to come together in concrete acts of charity, education, and advocacy. We, as Christians in America, are called to be the light of hope for the world. Our nation has been blessed to be a beacon of freedom and justice, and it is our spiritual duty to carry this light to every corner of the earth.

As the founder of the Mission of Hope and Mercy, I believe that it is America’s destiny to shine with the light of the Risen Christ, spreading peace and reconciliation across the globe, and standing against hate, violence, and injustice. The rewards of this work are immeasurable blessings from Heaven, healing in our own families, and the opportunity to encounter Christ in the faces of the poor, the sick, the brokenhearted, the orphan, the widow, the persecuted, and all those who suffer. This is the call of Christ—to see Him in those who are most in need. I know that many of us may not have great wealth, but we are rich in faith, character, and community.

I am confident that among your circle of friends and loved ones, there are many who can help us fulfill this mission. As we approach the end of Lent and prepare for the solemnity of Good Friday and the joy of Easter Sunday, I humbly ask for you to consider a special gift for our Mission of Hope and Mercy. It is His hope that we give through your faithful financial support.

I would also ask that you reach out to any family and friends in your network who share our mission and encourage them to donate to the Mission of Hope and Mercy. This is a special time of year when we reflect on the immense gift of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection. Let us come together as one body of believers and support those in need—whether through prayer, outreach, or financial support. Please visit our special donation page at www.missionofhopeandmercy.org/donate and share it with your friends and family so that together, we can bring hope and healing to those who need it most.

I count on your prayers, and I thank you for your continued faith, hope, and love for Christ and His children in need. May this Easter bring new life, hope, and blessings to you and your loved ones.

With deep gratitude and prayers,

Fr. Andre Mahanna
President, Mission of Hope and Mercy

P.S. As we approach the culmination of Lent and the joyous Easter season, I kindly ask that you consider a special contribution of $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more to help support our shared mission with the Mission of Hope and Mercy. And please share our message and encourage others to give.
