(Worthy News) – Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel have delivered a trove of documents to Congress detailing donation patterns to the Clinton Foundation from foreign and domestic entities, reigniting scrutiny over whether critical evidence was withheld from federal investigators who sought to examine pay-to-play allegations a decade ago.

The documents, transmitted to the Senate Judiciary Committee in recent days, chronicle numerous instances in which foreign interests and at least one U.S. defense contractor allegedly sought influence with Bill and Hillary Clinton through charitable donations, including during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013, according to officials who spoke with Just the News.

Whistleblower Claims Surface

Some of the evidence reportedly comes from whistleblowers who claim such materials were deliberately excluded from a 2015 corruption investigation conducted by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Little Rock, Arkansas — an inquiry that was subsequently terminated by the Obama administration’s Justice Department.

“There was an effort to obstruct legitimate inquiries into the Foundation by blocking real investigation by line-level FBI agents and DOJ field prosecutors and keeping them from following the money,” said one official directly familiar with the documents.

Officials involved in compiling the materials have dubbed them the “Clinton corruption files,” gathered over several weeks of work.

Public Release Expected

Bondi and Patel are working to release the documents publicly as early as this week, pending resolution of issues related to protecting whistleblower identities, officials said.

The development comes months after Just the News reported that the FBI had conducted three separate investigations into potential pay-to-play allegations involving the Clinton Foundation, all of which were closed following an order from then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates to “shut it down.”

According to officials, the new documents will illustrate how lower-level FBI agents and prosecutors prevented certain information from reaching decision-makers overseeing the various Clinton Foundation probes.

Additional Disclosures Expected

Officials also indicated that new evidence related to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Arctic Frost investigation will be released this week, including previously undisclosed communications between Smith and former FBI Director Christopher Wray, as well as details about efforts to obtain congressional phone records during that probe.

The Clinton Foundation has previously denied any wrongdoing and has maintained that all donations were properly disclosed and that no official actions were influenced by charitable contributions.
