All right. Happy Monday, everybody. Welcome Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Yes, I am here live today. I know some of the promos said that I would not be. Change of plans on my part. So, yes, I am here live today and will be, should be throughout the week and, you know, pending any kind of, Small disasters, life changes, all sorts of things. That’s all I can say. And those of you that just know some of my personal things that are going on in my world with my folks and so on, things happen. And for those of you that have elderly parents, you know exactly what I mean by that. So all I can say is I understand fully when things happen that are unexpected. Let’s just say that. So question of the day. There was not one. From Friday, but today’s on November 30th, 1876. The first Thanksgiving college football game was played. Name the two teams. I would not have gotten this one. So that is today’s impossible question of the day. Answer this on our Facebook page. All right. Charlie always asks me, observations from vacations. He highlights things like that. Well, didn’t really, with everything that kind of happened while I was gone and why I’m back early, I didn’t really get the chance to observe things like I normally would have. Frankly, didn’t even get a chance to really kind of unwind like I normally would. But it’s all good. Not complaining. Just life happens at times. But some observations. And maybe this is just my observations. But… I feel like and I’m sure that other countries feel the same way about us because you hear these comments from time to time. But it sure seems to me like foreigners are entitled. And what I mean by that is they just act like there’s certain things owed to them and or they ignore certain things because they’ll act like I can’t read or understand or whatever the case may be. And by the way, when I mean foreigners, I was in a place where there’s people from all over the world, not just, you know, our border area. countries like we have here in the U.S., but I was in a part of the country where there’s foreigners coming from all over the world, and they just feel, to me anyways, entitled. And I was even talking to some of the waitstaff and others around that particular topic, and I don’t think I’m the only one. You always hear that comment that European folks feel like we’re that way as Americans when we go overseas, and maybe they are, and I would hope that we wouldn’t act like that. But this particular trip in particular, it just seems to me like, and I say foreigners, people that are not from the United States of America, Just act entitled. And then this one I talk about all the time because it’s true. And every time I go someplace, especially over a holiday like I just did, parenting is not what it used to be. Let’s just say that. Parenting is not what it used to be. There’s a name for it now, and I’m not going to say this correctly, but there’s this softer parenting, this kinder, gentle parenting, which, by the way, I was not raised by, nor did I raise my kids that way. And I look at some of these kids today, and frankly, they’re little monsters. to the point where I like kids. I raised a bunch of kids, have a bunch of grandkids and so on. I’m getting to the point where I only like my own kids. I really don’t like anybody else’s kids because most of them are not well-behaved. Now, if a really nice, well-behaved person Child comes along or children come along. You know, I’m OK with that. I can deal with that. And occasionally you’ll see that you can really tell that, you know, mom and dad are on top of things. But this whole kinder parenting thing is a bunch of nonsense. I’ll just tell you that straight up. I don’t know what it’s going to be like 20, 25 years from now when these kids are in their mid to late 20s. Because the kids I’m talking about are anywhere from age 4 to 10. So what’s it going to be like when they’re 25 to 35? I think it’s going to be really difficult for them, even more so than previous generations that have sort of been parented in the same way. But this whole kinder, gentler parenting is a bunch of nonsense. There’s a reason Scripture’s pretty clear on this. Spare the rod, spoil the child? Yeah, because kids need discipline. And I get it. That can be done over, you know, that can go overboard. I understand that. And I’m not talking about discipline that exceeds what’s right and what’s wrong. You know, what exceeds what’s right, I should say. And when it exceeds that, yes, it’s wrong. I’m not talking about child abuse because, yes, that can happen. And I’m not talking about that. But holy cow, when I was a kid growing up, I got paddled, I got spanked, I had corporal punishment, and I’m fine. My kids did the same, and they’re fine. This whole, you know, how are you feeling and, you know, what’s going on right now, talking to a four- and five-year-old about that is utter nonsense. And, yes, I observed some of that on vacation, which my wife and I just look at each other and shake our heads. It’s like, you know, where are we headed in this regard? So I always give you a highlight of times when I’m gone, and I don’t have a whole lot of other ones because I had other things going on while I was on vacation and really didn’t get a chance to observe some of the things that I would normally observe, you know, outside of my regular normal complaints. And you guys, you know, even text me these from time to time on the whole flying end of things. um it’s super expensive and it’s for the type of people that have a boatload of money but i can see why people fly private i can fully understand that if you’ve got a really busy lifestyle and you’ve got the sort of income that enables you to fly private i can see why people do because it’s getting to the point where i mean it’s been this way for years now but it’s getting worse and worse it’s a bus with wings It’s literally a bus with wings. And the way people treat the airplane is literally a bus with wings. And what I mean by that is the way they act, the way they dress, the way they behave. I’ve said this for years, but when somebody enters the airport world, in this case, even in Denver, you start driving down Pena Boulevard, all common sense they may have had—I say may— escapes them, because once they hit that inner circle of the airport, there’s no common sense left. People have, they just lose it. I get behind people at times in the security line, and I think to myself, have you never been through security in your whole life? And by the way, these are people where if you know they have a TSA pre-check, because I do, and they’re in front of me, it’s like, okay, well, you fly enough to have that, so this isn’t your first experience, but yet you act like it is. Anyways, I could go on and on about the whole travel experience and how it’s getting worse and worse all of the time because there’s just more knuckleheads involved in it, I guess. I don’t know how to say it. And I get it. I see a lot more than probably most, especially when you travel over a Thanksgiving holiday and so on, which for me just works out well because of the time of the year and what happens here in the radio world and so on with our guests and so on. It’s just an easy time for me. to take off versus other times because most of the rest of our world does the same thing. But anyways, I won’t talk any more about that. You guys all text me different things at different times and even send me pictures of things that go on. And I appreciate that very much, by the way. Thank you. But we’ll start off this next segment with Hunter Biden’s pardon. which Joe Biden himself said numerous times, the White House press secretary said numerous times, would not happen. All right. Before I get to Hunter Biden, Charlie and I were just talking through the break. The other thing that’s this is in general just does not have to do with travel, but you probably see a little bit more of it traveling. And my wife and I were talking about this as well. The amount of people that now litter in this includes people with kids, people without kids. It just amazes me the amount of stuff. that people feel like someone else will pick up for them. And I can remember as a kid, and yes, we had the crying Indian that really wasn’t an Indian, and I get that, the commercials about not littering and so on. It seems like we’ve really slipped in that particular area. And again, I don’t know the political affiliation of individuals that litter versus those that don’t, although I think I could take a pretty good stab at a political affiliation based upon that, just my own thought process. And some of that I’ve learned over the years just by the things that I’ve done in the car world and working on people’s cars and so on. And, yeah, the amount of littering, you know, my wife and I were talking about even as we were out walking and doing different things and you just see things in the curb where somebody had just basically had lunch and threw everything in the curb. And it’s like somebody’s going to pick that stuff up. And just the lack of concern for that just kills me. You know, you’ll walk off the airplane, and you’ll look down. At least I do. Maybe everybody else doesn’t, and I know I’m weird. But I’ll look up and down, you know, back and forth across the aisles, and you can kind of tell where kids have been sitting and haven’t been sitting. And so when I get it, kids can be messy, and you may not have, you know, a – A vacuum with you, I guess I should say, you know, a shop vac with you to clean up after them. But on the same token, you can pack your kids the type of snacks and things that don’t make a huge mess so that you’re not leaving all of that behind. And, you know, I’ve even watched adults leave stuff behind where it’s like, you know, all of this costs money. And I don’t think everybody really looks at it the same way. But for every ounce of time somebody else spends picking up after that person, it’s costing all of us money at the end of the day. That’s a whole other topic I can get into later. But let’s talk about Hunter Biden. Now, how do I tie in that last comment to Hunter? It’s called entitlement. People feel entitled to certain things. I feel like in this particular case, not only Hunter Biden, but Joe, President Joe Biden, they feel entitled that Hunter should not have this sentence. He’s getting a pardon, presidential pardon. Those are big deals, by the way. And I understand every president that gets ready to leave office, there are certain pardons that they do, although historically, it’s not your own family member. And I didn’t look this up, Charlie. Maybe you know off the top of your head. Has there been any other presidents that have pardoned their own family prior to leaving office? You said yes. Is it profound or is it just like, but there has been. Charlie said he would look it up, but this is not common practice. That I do know. You don’t hear about this happening all the time. Now, personally, I don’t have a problem with this. And here’s why. Our own governor, Polis, has the answer as to why I don’t have a problem with this. This is a bad precedent that could be abused by later presidents and will sadly tarnish his reputation. When you become president, your role is to basically take care of the nations. And this is not taking care of the nation, of course. Now, what I said a minute ago is why I don’t have a problem with this is this will tarnish his reputation. That’s why I don’t have a precedent. Is it going to set a precedent? I don’t know. Maybe, maybe not. The reality is the other side can’t complain about anybody from our side doing it on down the road because it’s now happening. So all you’d have to do down the road if something like this were to happen is you look back and say, well, Joe did it. But the tarnish, tarnishment of Joe’s reputation, yeah, honestly, that one doesn’t bother me a bit. I could care less. Now, I do want to remind everybody, and I get it, we’re not to Inauguration Day yet. I understand that. Although… Although we’re getting close enough. We’re three weeks literally to Christmas. I mean, Christmas is three weeks from this Wednesday. Or four weeks from this Wednesday. But three full weeks until we get to Christmas, essentially. And Christmas week is all screwed up this year because it’s on a Wednesday. So just as a side note, it’s a totally messed up week. It’ll be messed up for most people. A lot of businesses will maybe be open that Monday, maybe not because Christmas Eve is that Tuesday. Then it’s Christmas. And then, of course, it’s the day after. And a lot of places take off even between Christmas and New Year’s. Regardless, it’s a weird year this year. So just be prepared, and my point, and I’ve even been telling a lot of my clients this, just be prepared along those lines because the whole business world will be different this particular Christmas than typically because of the fact of how things fall, because of that Wednesday, meaning Christmas is on a Wednesday, so is New Year’s. So just something to think about in your world when you’re going about doing things and so on. Just remember that part of it. But point being, we’re getting close to the end of the year. Once we’re to the end of the year, they’re not going to make any kind of a change. In fact, they’re not going to make any change now, presidentially speaking. And in my opinion, this is partially why. I fully believe and you guys all know my thought process on how Kamala got the nod to become the presidential nominee after Joe bowed out. It was because of the inside deal made between Jill, Joe Hunter, the whole Biden family and the Democrats. Wasn’t just Kamala, but all of the Democrats. And I feel strongly that that deal was we stay in office. We stay in the White House. And by the way, that means if Joe decides to pardon Hunter during that time, he will. We’re not going to rely on somebody else taking over as president, maybe pardoning him or not. We’re not going to go down that path. We’re going to make sure we get this taken care of ourself. And oh, by the way, there’s X amount of money we expect in return. So I feel like all of this dovetails into one another, and it’s why you’re not going to see her be president no matter what. Not going to happen. So Abraham Lincoln, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump have pardoned family members. I don’t remember. Who did Trump pardon? Oh, Jared Kushner’s dad. So kind of a quasi-family member. That’s an in-law type family member, right? Yeah. Okay. So, and Clinton, oh yeah, that’s right. He did his half-brother. I forgot about that, Charlie. Thank you. And Lincoln had his wife’s relative pardoned. So none of these had really direct like father-son relationships. So this would be the first time there’s a father-son relationship in regards to a pardon. Trump’s is, that one’s tough because that’s the father of your son-in-law. So that one’s a little bit different. Yeah, thank you, Charlie. Yeah, he just named him ambassador to someplace. And by the way, I’m not I’m not making excuses for Donald Trump or any other president. Pardon whoever they want to. I’m not making any excuses for Joe. I do think this one in particular, though, given the the high profile case of what Hunter Biden had, the fact that if if it weren’t for the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story itself. I’m not sure Joe becomes president. I’ve talked about that many times on this program. I think it’s very clear. There’s been a lot of polling, and I’ve argued with some of you as liberals along these lines. The reality is the polling shows that if people knew about all of the intertwining and what was going on with the laptop and so on prior to the 2020 election, their vote would have been different. So you guys on the left can say all you want that it wouldn’t have been. The reality is there’s polling out there, polling data out there that says otherwise. So at any rate, you know, do I you know, am I upset about Hunter Biden getting pardoned? I don’t think upsets the right word. Am I shocked? Not one. Not one bit. What I think is going to be interesting along these lines is how does the White House moving forward, I didn’t watch anything today to see how some of the press conferences and so on went or if they’ve even had any yet, how they’re going to spin this given the fact that the White House press secretary, I think at least Charlie on three if not four occasions said vehemently, he’s not going to pardon Hunter. It’s not going to happen. You know, Kareem Jean-Pierre said that numerous times in a very antagonistic way, like, I can’t believe you’re even asking that question. Of course, she’s always got that snide, you know, response that she does anyways. That’s one person’s side note. That is one person, all said and done, that I am thankful we will no longer see after January 20th. Where she ends up, don’t know, don’t care. She is one of those people that, for me personally, just grinds on me. Cannot stand that woman at all. Her holier-than-thou, I’m-better-than-everyone-else attitude. She’s a DEI hire, by the way, through and through. It’s not because of her skill set. Anyways, she’s one of those that will not hurt my feelings to not have to see her any longer. But it’ll be interesting to see how they spin that. We’ll talk to Jim Paff from the conservative caucus in a moment about some of this, as well as some of the other cabinet picks coming up in the Trump administration. High five plumbing is next. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, conservative caucus. All right, so I just mentioned in the last segment, kind of got started on the whole Hunter Biden pardon thing, which we heard out of the press secretary numerous times, Joe Biden himself. Yeah, we’re not going to do that, and yet they did. I’m not shocked, by the way, Jim.
SPEAKER 08 :
No, no, it’s totally… Totally expected. I mean, from the very beginning, people were haranguing me for saying right after he made the announcement, are you kidding me? He’s definitely going to do it. And you had many people on the left who their tweets and other social media posts were saying, you’re just being stupid because Joe Biden is a man of integrity and he’s going to keep his word and you’re beating up. And here he is breaking his word. It’s very obvious. And the broad scope of it becomes a real problem, too, and just says a whole lot about what’s going on here.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, and it’d be interesting to see how, and I had somebody text me that they think that the press secretary and Biden both are out of the country right now, so I doubt there’ll be any press conferences in the very near future and all that. I’m sure it was timed properly, Jim, to avoid some of that because, again, you know, Cream, Jean-Pierre, she has said numerous times, I’ve seen at least four if not five clips of her stating, yeah, quit asking me that question because he’s not going to do it. And the fact is that
SPEAKER 08 :
Joe Biden is… Politicians tend to lie, right? There are a few really good politicians who don’t, but politicians tend to lie. In most cases, when we see that, we don’t like it, but we kind of overlook it because they mostly, you know, or many of them really try to say what’s going on and try to advance some agenda that they’re promoting. Joe Biden is a proven, consistent… persistent liar for his entire political career. This man has undermined and harmed the lives of Americans for his entire professional career, which is all politics. Because, I mean, remember, he was a U.S. Senator at 25 or something like that back… So that’s all he’s ever done is lie and harm people.
SPEAKER 07 :
No, Jim, you’re spot on. He’s never, number one, never had a real job. He’s been in politics… all of his adult life, if you would, maybe a few years prior to that, but let’s face it, for his adult life, he’s been a politician. The reality is the guy’s never worked a full day in his life, and to your point as well, he consistently lies to benefit whatever he feels for himself and his empire needs to happen.
SPEAKER 08 :
No doubt about it. And it is about time that he went off of the national stage. It is Still questionable in my mind the fact that he won in 2020, not necessarily because of actual votes stolen, but because of all the changes. in our election process.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, that and Jim, I mean, just this story, this story and what Hunter’s getting pardoned over. I mean, there are enough voters out there polled that said in 2020, had they known that wasn’t quote unquote Russian disinformation, their vote would have been different. That alone, even outside of the things that you’re talking about, the polling showed that just that alone would have been enough to give the election to Donald Trump.
SPEAKER 08 :
Absolutely. That is the main bit of election interference. And here’s what’s even worse. Joe Biden represents, among other well-known politicians like the Clintons and we can name many others, even Barack Obama, in my opinion, he represents a deep corruption in Washington, D.C., that has led to this massive government and massive deficit spending that we’ve been going through all this century. By the way, keep in mind, the Office of Management and Budget in 2000 and 2001 were projecting our national debt to be paid off by 2013. So that’s the environment that we’re in here. Even if those numbers hadn’t been quite right, that’s the track that we were on. The corruption in Washington, D.C., evidenced by the millions of dollars that these politicians make when they go up there. It just shows you why, even though I don’t want Donald Trump to get distracted from Doge and all these other things that he’s doing and cleaning up The mess in the intelligence agencies, et cetera, et cetera. I don’t want to get distracted from that. But we need to root out this corruption at its core. And Joe Biden is still subject to it. Jim Biden is. There are many people who are behind this. And we need to understand what was going on, if not, where appropriate, prosecuting them.

Yeah. No, I can’t argue that at all. And Jim, along the lines of this whole, you know, how bloated things have have gotten. I mean, when you start listening to him, we’ll talk about some of these appointees. I mean, some of the appointees in the cabinet are talking about literally breaking up offices in Washington, changing things around completely. dismantling certain agencies and or moving those agencies across the country to where they’re no longer going to be centered in Washington, D.C. Jim, these are words that, frankly, nobody there wants to hear that’s ingrained in the swamp, if you would.
SPEAKER 08 :
As you know, people like you and me have been saying it. I worked for Thomas Massey for a while. He’s always said it. I worked for Tim Hulskamp. He was kicked off his committees for saying it. There has been a massive push to destroy anyone who would want to break up this system. We finally seem to have a chance to make some significant progress in destroying this system that has gone so awry, that is against the will of the American people, that looks, by the way, at this latter stage, very much like a banana republic. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say, with all the lawfare and all these government large assets going to people, it’s a mess and we’ve got to clean it.
SPEAKER 07 :
I can’t – no, Jim, you’re spot on. I mean, the reality is it’s gotten huge. People that are ingrained in it, of course, that’s where their paycheck’s coming from. And when I say paycheck, Jim, we’re not talking people making $40,000, $50,000 a year. We’re talking about people that are making millions of dollars a year off the backs of the American public. And, of course, when there’s that much money involved, they don’t want to see their golden goose fly off. So the question I have for you, because I – I’m doing my best to try and not get my hopes up too much. I do feel like some of the people that are being appointed, and if we can get them confirmed, I do think they’ll be good to their word. I think they’ll do some of the things. Some of these folks have been talking about it for a long, long time. This isn’t something they just started talking about six months ago, Jim. Some of these folks like you and I have been talking about it for decades. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I do feel like some of these people will be true to their word and will do some of these things.
SPEAKER 08 :
There are a lot of them that are going to be quite fantastic. I think Pam Bondi is going to be really good in that position. I’d have preferred to have Matt Gaetz, frankly.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, that’s where you and I will have to agree to disagree because I don’t think Matt is very calculated in what he does. He proved himself that way when he broke up the house. I just don’t think Matt’s very calculating.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, as I said when he was first nominated, I said, listen, I don’t know if he’s going to be able to go through a nomination hearing. Just go ahead and recess appoint him, and if I can have him for a year, then I’ll be happy. Because there does need to be some breakdown there. And Pam Bondi also has some potential weaknesses as well. But again, they’re both… dedicated and loyal to Donald Trump, and that’s a positive thing. Cash Patel at FBI, I think, is one of the best nominations that I see out there. Let’s put some perspective on Cash Patel. We would not know The corruption in the FOIA process, or not the FOIA process, excuse me, the FISA process, we would not know that without Cash Patel. Not even Devin Nunes would have known it, because no one was telling him. Cash put all the pieces of the puzzle together and figured out what was going on. Plus, he exposed the Russia hoax.
SPEAKER 07 :
for what it is they were they were you know cash isn’t stupid i’ve interviewed him you know numerous times in the past as well as you know folks like yourself i mean cash is a guy that’s been around our neck of the woods for a very very long time and he got by the way jim he’s another guy that feels like fbi agents in particular why are these guys sitting in an ivory tower in washington why are they not out in the field yeah

That’s right. And he said that, I think, on Sean Ryan’s program. And substantively what he’s saying, whether the numbers pan out, get all 7,000 out to the field, the fact that we have so many people in the FBI sitting in Washington, D.C., is evidence to the protectionist structure of of these agencies right there is a need for some people in the fbi to be in washington dc for sure of course but it just shows that many of them do you need a tenth of them is the question probably that’s about it correct that’s right and and so and and you did its structure has changed to supporting the organization and doing these expanded things that are undermining the american people rather than just being real good at finding criminals and they’ve lost that focus.
SPEAKER 07 :
And by the way, Jim, finding the real criminals, not these fake criminals, you know, some of these no-knock raids and things that we’ve seen on good, solid conservatives that they should have never been knocking on the door in the first place. I mean, let’s get after the real criminals, not these quasi-criminals they claim are.
SPEAKER 08 :
That’s exactly right, and it shows and has revealed through the Trump campaigns and the whole Trump phenomenon that there has been an effort to control the American people so that this system in Washington, D.C. can remain as it is. There is a real belief in the executive, and when I say the executive, all the agencies under control of the president. They all believe that they run the country, and whenever I say very clearly that Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution says, the executive power shall be vested in a president of the United States, the president of the United States, whoever that elected person is in for that four-year period, absolute authority over all the executive branch. And when you say that, people always bring up this, well, if you’re going to declassify, you got to go through a process. No, the president has no process. Or if the president wants to do this, he’s got to have a process. No, he can buck whatever process he wants and say, no, we’re going to do it this way. That is how much authority the president has over the executive branch. And we need to reassert that in a very real way. And Congress needs to jump in on the other side, which I have no hope for. I have hope in Donald Trump doing stuff in the executive branch. I have no hope that we’re going to see in Washington, even with a Republican Congress, the kind of reform where they will say, listen, we’re going to undertake the legislative power, we’re going to reassert our legislative authority to constrain the federal government as well. I think we’ll get some progress in that, but I don’t think it’s going to be as massive as what we get in the executive. And that’s one of the first steps that we need to undertake. Donald Trump’s willing to do it, and I’m really excited. Even with some picks that I’m not real happy about, I’m very excited about the direction that he’s taking. And he’s going to fulfill what the American people elected him for.
SPEAKER 07 :
I agree. But in closing, give me one of the picks you don’t like.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, Chavez de Riemer at Labor. I mean, one of the big problems with the Labor Department is that, amongst many, one of them is the National Labor Relations Board has a lot of authority to cause corporations’ problems, and I believe in the right to assemble. Obviously, that’s right there in the Constitution. And I’m not against unions as a concept. I am against the fact that we have given unions overbroad ability to organize in corporations.
SPEAKER 07 :
Jim, I’d go one step further and tell you that’s one of those agencies we don’t even need anymore.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, I agree. We totally need to get rid of it. If it stays around, all it’s doing is gathering data, and that’s it.
SPEAKER 07 :
That’s right. Get rid of it. No offense. You can get that data in other ways. States can formulate that data as well. You could do the same thing with the Department of Labor that you’re going to hopefully do with the Department of Education. Get rid of it. Give that power back to the states. You no longer need that on a federal level anyways.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, OSHA, all these things that we do on the federal level that really have no bearing at all upon constitutional authority. And we have, you know, Russ Boat, my good friend who’s OMB director, another great pick, by the way, superstar, rock star pick for Office of Management and Budget. But, you know, he always makes the point we’re in a post-constitutional republic right now. And I have to agree with that in the technical terms. The question is, will we bring it back to a constitutional republic? I think this is going to be, these next four years are going to be a good first step in that direction, if I’m reading things correctly.

All right, we are back. Charlie and I talking through the break there a little bit about how, and this is where I had an issue with Matt Gaetz. When you start talking about Doge and coming in and even some of what Kash Patel has talked about when it comes to the FBI and really shaking up some of these departments, some of these agencies, you’re going to have backlash. It’s going to happen. Now, how do you minimize that? That’s where you need to be calculated in your frontal attack strategy. and how you’re going to handle certain things and making sure that you’ve got as many backstops in place to make sure that those things don’t happen. It’s not as simple as just shutting down something. This is the federal government we’re talking about. The powers that be, as we would say over the years. The reality is a lot of these folks, they have been entrenched. They’re ingrained. It’s their entire life. In some cases, it’s more than one generation even that have been in some of those departments and agencies. Keep that in mind. and I’m not joking when I say this, you’ll find in some particular situations where, you know, granddad did something and so did son, and now also the grandson does. And I’m not exaggerating when I say that. Some of these, literally, it’s been their entire life. Just like when somebody becomes a union member, so does son, so does grandson, and so on. It’s no different than working in some of these government agencies. And part of that’s because when you’ve got an in, quote-unquote, It’s easy to get the next one in and the next one and so on. And so, yes, some of these things are deeply ingrained into even families. And just the sheer talk of shutting some of these things down, I am sure, is sending shivers down the spines of a lot of individuals because everything they’ve come to know might be ending. So your point being. You’re going to have to be very calculated in how you do things. Now, there’s some things you could easily just, you know, and let me talk about this a little bit through the rest of the show today. But some of them, you know, some of the, Charlie and I were talking grants, subsidies, some of these things that are out there, you know, those are some of the easy, low-hanging fruit. governmental buildings that are empty, that you’re paying rent on, that you may not even own the ground, or if you do, you sell the building off and put that money back into the treasury. That’s the low-hanging fruit. That stuff’s easy. You’re going to tick off a few people in doing that because there’s some folks that are, again, probably managing a building. They’re handling that empty building. Again, their life revolves around some of these things, and yes, you’re going to upset the apple cart with some of that. But that’s a lot different than taking X amount of FBI agents and putting them out into the field and not having them in the home office. And, and, and, and, and. I mean, you start talking about shutting down complete three-letter agencies. That is a huge shakeup. Just moving the offices outside of D.C. is a huge shakeup. Now, I do believe that if you were to take an agency and move it out of Washington and go put it where it’s more suited, you’ll have a certain amount of attrition because some folks just won’t move. You’re going to have some that are close to retirement that are like, yeah, I love D.C. I’m not moving to Colorado. Maybe that’s where you put the Department of Interior, for example, which they’ve done some of those things in the past. BLM offices have already done some of that over the years and so on. But there’s all sorts of other things you could do along those lines. And there’s all sorts of different states that you could put some of those agencies in relatively easily, and it would be better suited to have them there than in D.C. So you start talking about some of that. Again, you need to be calculated and looking at, okay, where are all these workers at? What’s the age group of the workers that are here? What’s the likelihood that some of these workers will move forward? Now, this is one thing that I will tell you that will most likely happen. And a lot of people, even in the conservative community, don’t like. But it’s called AI, artificial intelligence. And it’s getting more and more powerful every day. Now, you insert some of what I just said, feed the data of what I just said into AI and say, OK, what’s our likelihood of we shut down this agency? What’s the likelihood? What’s the retirement factor going to look like? AI can give you that answer. It can run through all the different algorithms and look at people’s age and how long they’ve been there and where do they live and where does their family live and blah, blah, blah. And it can spit out, this is the percentage of people that most likely won’t move. That’s one of the areas you could use AI in. And it’s interesting. I watched some videos over the weekend whereby there’s some talk, and I’ve not verified this, but there’s some talk out there that ultimately government wants to control all of AI. They want it to be three to four companies max, and they want to control all of it. Now, with what I just said, of course they do. Think about that. They know some of this stuff is coming, and if government wants to keep its swamp going, it would want to control AI for the very reasons I just explained a moment ago. If AI could come in and say, we could shrink this particular department, this three-letter agency, we could shrink it to X, and here’s the cost-benefit analysis of doing so, and AI could spit that out in minutes, if not hours at most, of course government wants to control that. Absolutely. Why would they want that in private hands? They wouldn’t. So is it true that government wants to control AI? Absolutely. I’m not even going to call that conspiratorial. Common sense would tell you, of course they want to. Of course they want to. They watched the Internet get developed and sort of took a hands-off approach to it. And they did that in a lot of ways with social media and so on. Now, they really tried to invest and get a handle on social media, and they did a good job of that, by the way, in 2020. It has since fallen apart with the entrance of Elon Musk into Twitter. And they lost that foothold, if you would. And by the way, it had a huge impact on this last election. So government tried to do their best to control that end of it, but they didn’t really do a good job of it on the onset. So do I believe that they are meddling in AI right now, trying their best to control the outcome of? Yes, I firmly believe that. Is that conspiratorial? No, I think that’s just common sense. Why would they want it any other way? When you look at the tools… that an agency like Doge will now have a tool called AI and the ability to do some of the things I just explained a few minutes ago, why would government want Doge having that? When your very existence relies on you coming to X office or remotely working or doing whatever it is that you do, and your whole family’s existence relies on this particular agency and or department, why would you want to see that let go? You’re going to do every single thing you possibly can to hang on to it. Now, Charlie was right during the break. You guys didn’t hear this. But some of the retaliation that will also happen out of shutting some of these things down, yes, that will be huge. Mark my words. And the powers that be right now, the Trump cabinet, is going to have to figure out how do we on the front side handle what I know is going to be some of these things that happen. The Elon Musks of the world, by the way, understand that. When he laid off all of the folks at Twitter that he did, I’m sure there was retaliation. There was. We saw it in the news. Does he know how to handle these things? Yeah. Yeah. Of course, Elon’s also a guy with SpaceX that has some internal things going on that he would not want exposed because he’s the only guy I’ve ever known, ever seen in history that can land a rocket. Send it to space and reland it in the same place it took off from. That’s an achievement all in and of itself, and I’m sure there’s some very classified things he has, some key documents that he has that make all of that happen that he doesn’t want just in anybody’s hands. So retaliation, yes, he knows about it. Will there be some of that in the shutting down of some government agencies? There absolutely will. We’ll come back.
