This Colorado governor. And then you see this at local and county levels through land use codes and zoning regulations and forced fees and taxes and then conservation easements and national monument designations. All of these are assault upon our property. And owning property, both tangible and intangible, what you think is inherent in the American idea. And that’s why there is such an assault on this by the radical activist left. On the show, we focus on these issues and try to stay away from the personalities because there are so many issues that we need to be paying attention to. And many times the focus on personalities is to take your eye off the ball on these issues. So we’re going to stay disciplined on that. Our bill of the day, and this is a good time to give our little advertisement for the Colorado Union of Taxpayers, which we would really love to have you join us. We are an all-volunteer group. And we are watching legislation down at the statehouse, and it is a huge job with that. And there’s been 540-plus bills or resolutions. that has been proposed down at the State House so far. We don’t really need another bill or resolution, and thank you to some of the Republicans that have tried to roll back some of the past things that have been passed here. Most of all those have died in committee, but I do thank them for doing that. So the Colorado Union of Taxpayers, our team, all volunteers, we will take a look at legislation that is scheduled for hearing for this next week. And we will take a position and give our reasoning on that. And then we will send an email on Mondays to all the legislators and the governor. And if you would like to receive that email as well. But this bill that I chose as our bill of the day is a very bad one. It’s House Bill 25-1297. Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise Update. So the first time you see the, or any time you see the word enterprise, that means that they are trying to take that revenue out from underneath our Colorado Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights cap and not include it as they are needing to make the calculation on how much of the excess revenue that government has collected that they should give back to you, the taxpayer. So they connive all different ways to keep that money. And when you see the word enterprise, that is what is happening here. The prime sponsors on this are Representative Kyle Brown, Democrat, Representative Lindsay Gilchrist, Democrat, and Senator Iman Joda, Democrat. And it says, concerning updates to the health insurance affordability enterprise to provide continuing coverage for health insurance needs in the state. And quite frankly, when government gets involved, the price goes up, the quality goes down, and the supply becomes limited. And this has a significant fiscal note on this. And it is, let’s see, it is taking, hold on here. Let me get back up here. It’s about $67, $68 million. And it’s taking that out of, this is state revenue on that now. So basically, though, that $67 million is coming off of the calculations here. for your TABOR refunds. And so this is a very, very bad bill. And we at the Colorado Union of Taxpayers are a no on that. And so stay tuned and make sure that you sign up and join us at $25 a month. um let’s see a couple of headlines that i wanted to mention and i didn’t get to this on friday but usaid now this is a government entity and they are supposed to be working for us and supposedly they were supposed to be promoting america throughout the world what we are finding that they were actually funding things across the world that a were kind of goofy and um B, that we’re actually probably undercutting us as Americans. And so I thought this was crazy, though. So Elon Musk was into USAID shortly after Trump was inaugurated and went in and was locating a lot of waste fraud and abuse and so this was this was last week from the Washington Examiner it said the court has to step in after USAID employees were ordered to shred and burn classified documents right here in the United States of America we had to get the court to to tell a federal agency not to do that. And this article says employees were instructed to destroy items in the agency’s classified safes and personnel documents last Tuesday at the Ronald Reagan building, according to an email sent by the agency’s acting executive director, Erica Carr. And this memo was obtained by the Washington Examiner. She said this, shred as many documents first and reserve the burn bags for when the shredder becomes unavailable or needs a break. This is absolutely remarkable. And so we’ve got to get a handle on this. One thing, and Scott Powell had texted me this this weekend. He said he’s concerned, and I am as well, that we Americans… are maybe taking some solace in what’s happening with the Trump to administration and returning to normalcy. Whereas the radical activists left, they’re going to double down. And as we look to the 2026 elections, they are going to be out there to undermine and to question what is happening. In fact, I saw that Bernie Sanders is going to be in Denver. And so they are doubling down. So we need to stay focused on these issues. That’s why we do the show. Well, and I just saw this come through on Twitter that Donald Trump got off an airplane at midnight. And the caption is, does he ever sleep? And I was just thinking, Darcy Shaining, do you ever sleep either?
SPEAKER 19 :
Sometimes. Yeah, no, no, I get plenty of rest. But I love doing this. So that’s part of why I wanted to be chair. I just, you know, somebody said on the call the other day, oh, it’s a thankless job. And I was like, no, no, no, no, it’s not. Going around to places like Holyoke and seeing everybody and getting all those hugs and meeting new friends. Like, that’s just thanks. You know, this is the greatest job I’ve heard.
SPEAKER 16 :
Well, and, boy, it is a tough job being state GOP chair, particularly here in Colorado. And so, first of all, set this up. This election is at the end of March, correct? And who votes on this exactly, Darcy Shaning?
SPEAKER 19 :
So it is March 29th, and it’s in Colorado Springs, but it’s a hybrid meeting. And it’s voted on by the state central committee members. So that is the elected – those are the elected – vice chair, chair, secretary, and bonus members for each of the 64 counties in Colorado. So it winds up being about 480 state central committee members who vote on this election.
SPEAKER 16 :
Okay. And you said this is March 29th. So why? Why should you be Colorado State GOP chair for the next couple of years?
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, as I’ve, you know, continued to stress to people, not only have I been putting in the work and just showing people who I am, you know, every media person out there is like, listen, like she’s genuine. She’s everywhere. She’s a doer. I’ve shown to the voters that I show up, I get things done. I stand for our children. I’m building the Build Our Benches initiative. I’ve already got tons of donor commitments, about $200,000 for the school board races. But more than that, you know, I bring people together, as I showed in Washington, D.C., and with all of the events. So, you know, people talk about unity. And like I said yesterday in Holyoke, unity is accomplished when we’re all working on the same goals. And as a leader, that’s what I bring to the table. But, you know, more than that, I want to do this. It’s not a job to me. This is something that I’m ready to do. I feel called to do. And I enjoy doing. I think when people see me in places like Holyoke, Sterling, they can tell that I want to do this and that I enjoy seeing them. So for those reasons, I believe that I am the best chair for Colorado GOP or I am the best candidate for GOP chair.
SPEAKER 16 :
So, Darcy, you touched on something, and it’s a big challenge because it seems that Democrats will get into lockstep, whereas Republicans are all of these freedom people and all have these different ideas about things. And unity, I know so many people are concerned about unity, but I think my question is, what is it that we should unify behind? What will bring us together?
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, you know, for our common values, for example, you know, if we have to agree as Republicans that our kids are off the table. Right. So the transgender surgeries, the woke agenda in schools, all the things that are going on in our public schools. That’s something that we we all agree on. If we don’t agree on the fact that our kids have to be raised. with conservative values and schools are for education, that I don’t know what we’re doing as a party. So we all agree on that. And then, you know, just go down the list. We all agree on our Second Amendment rights. We all agree on low tax. Well, for the most part, we all agree on low taxes. So we come together on those common values and we coalesce around those and we accomplish the goals that we’ve set out. And that’s what I plan to do as a leader of the next GOP. I want everybody knocking on doors, making calls, working for these candidates, helping to flip school board seats in 2025, helping to get state seats in the legislature and And working on the governor’s office in 2026. And that’s unity. And, you know, when there are those squabbles, as I’ve told people, I as a leader will pull people behind closed doors and figure it out. That’s what we have to do. We can’t just let things fester. So as an organization that’s well run, we have to nip things in the bud when they do come up.
SPEAKER 16 :
So I was talking with someone yesterday, and here we are into 2025. And they said, have you heard who is going to challenge Hickenlooper for U.S. Senate? And My ear to the ground, I haven’t heard of anybody yet. This is pretty important. Now, we’ve had several fine people that have stepped forward on the Republican side to throw their hats into the ring for the governorship. But I’m not hearing Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer. This is concerning to me, Darcy Shaining.
SPEAKER 19 :
It is concerning. And, you know, in the last in 2024, there were several offices where we didn’t have a candidate. And at the last minute, I found that kind of found out about it, realized, oh, gosh, we need candidates out here. And it’s hard in some of those seats that historically are not winning seats for us. But in this next set of elections, you know, we have the momentum and we have to have candidates in every single seat. that we can possibly be running somebody. So I do have a candidate recruitment tool on my website. And my team has been putting that out there. That’s gonna be an integral part of the Colorado GOP moving forward. And we’re not only asking, are you thinking about running? But we’re asking people, what are your challenges? You know, who are you working with? What are you seeing on the ground? And we do already have there’s over a dozen candidates that have responded to offices across the state, most of which I’ve never met before. So we will find somebody for those Senate seats, attorney general, every seat. And I can promise you that I’m working really diligently on that.
SPEAKER 16 :
Okay. Next thing, Darcy Shaning, that is a big issue, and this certainly came up yesterday, was it’s called the opt-out. And this is regarding Coloradans voted for these open primaries. What was it, like 2017? And it’s kind of crazy that you could have… people that are not Republicans choose Republicans candidates because of these open primaries. So this has really been a contentious issue, interestingly enough, in the Republican Party. And so where do you stand on this opt out? And am I am I framing that correctly?
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, there’s two separate issues there. There’s the closing of the primaries and then there’s the opt out. So like Proposition 108 says, that’s the current issue that we are moving forward with in the lawsuit, right? So Proposition 108 was what originally opened our primaries, and that is something that we have to continue, and I’ve also been working with different legislators, including Democrats, on closing our primaries because that 75% threshold is, to me, unconstitutional. To have to have 75% of the state central committee members to opt out. We have to close our primaries. Republicans have to choose Republicans. The nonsense that, you know, to bring in unaffiliated, we have to allow them to vote in our primaries. is a Democrat talking point, and it’s something that Republicans have accepted, and we cannot accept that. And then after we close the primaries and we move on and we have successfully accomplished that task, we can opt out of the primaries, which is to further protect caucus and assembly. Until we get to that point, there are other Really crucial ways that we have to protect caucus and assembly. Those are listed out on my website. But, you know, we go so far as to saying we really have to put the information out there to the voters to let them know, hey, this candidate made it out of assembly. And that’s why this is important. So it’s the closing the primaries and then opting out of the primaries.
SPEAKER 16 :
So this open primary, this Prop 108, I remember watching that. And there has been, and I need to be careful because I can’t remember. I think I remember looking at the money and now I can’t remember. But I know that overall, Kent Theory has put a lot of money into changing our elections. I think he was somewhat involved in that as well. And that he has an influential consultant Republican that he hires to push these things forward. And so this changing of our elections here in Colorado and this consultant that I think ran that campaign also has a petition gathering business. And so getting on the ballot only via petitions instead and trying to box out the ballots. caucus and the assembly i i think we should have both options but it seems that some of these big money people are trying to box out the assembly in the caucus and we certainly want to protect that and so it’s gotten quite messy but i i think that it’s important that we protect that process and ultimately i’d like to get to point where we have both options what do you think about that
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, okay, so if we have both options, that’s something that, okay, so we have to, first of all, in my opinion, you know, I don’t want to speak for the body. So the body has to make that determination. Are they okay with the signature process? It does seem that, you know, up until this point, they by and large haven’t been. The signature process, the problem that the people have, the SEC has historically had with the signature process, is that, as you just mentioned, people like Kent Theory, wealthy donors, are buying these elections. Signatures used to run $1, $2 a piece. In this last cycle, Kim, people were paying $12 to $15. I know it per signature. I know a candidate that, to get on the ballot, he sold his motorcycle. And I’m not sure in what universe that is becoming a fair process because the more and more expensive those signatures get, who are the candidates that are able to pay that $15,000, $50,000, $100,000?
SPEAKER 16 :
Very good point. So you are in favor of closing the primaries and then opting out. Am I hearing that correctly?
SPEAKER 19 :
Yes, as long as, like I said, as long as that is the determination that the body makes and it happens in that order of closing the primary and then moving on to the next step because the process of closing the primary is expensive and it’s arduous and we have to have the money and infrastructure to then move on to the next step. But like I said, before we get there, there are other ways to protect our assembly and caucus process.
SPEAKER 16 :

Great to have you. And let’s talk about this first piece that you’ve written. It was published March 12th at American Thinker. Democrats stand for Ukraine, but sit for America. This address of Trump to the joint houses of Congress, the Senate and the House, was pretty remarkable to watch. And it’s also rather remarkable. I couldn’t believe it, Dr. June Depth, when Democrats sat on their hands with the young 13-year-old boy that was, I think, made an honorary Secret Service agent. He has brain cancer. And they sat on their rear ends. I couldn’t believe it.
SPEAKER 10 :
Oh, embarrassing for them, embarrassing for the country. Yeah, there’s always partisanship and one side stands and applauds and the other doesn’t, but that’s occasionally. This was the entire almost two-hour speech. The Democrats stood for absolutely nothing. And at the beginning, they behaved terribly. Representative Al Green got thrown out because of his behavior. You know, where’s the decorum? Where’s the honor of of being in Congress and behaving like that. But as you said, it was, it was not only the issues, it was the human rights stories. It was Trump honoring families of those killed by illegal immigrants. Uh, the little boy with brain cancer made an honorary secret service agent, the high school kid that got admitted to West Point. That was his lifelong dream. Uh, the, the family of the, uh, person that lost their life in the Trump assassination in Butler. It was a lot of these stories. And regardless of your politics, these bring tears to people’s eyes. Democrats should be able to stand and honor that. They sat for everything, except when Trump talked about, you know, Ukraine funding, Ukraine war funding. And he called out Elizabeth Warren. Oh, God, it’s not that. Even saying, you know, here’s something she’ll stand for. But they stood for nothing. Yet they stand for Ukraine. That’s their big motto. I stand for Ukraine. But anything for America? Nah, they sit. And that’s an image that’s going to come back to haunt them. I think that’ll be on campaign commercials in a year and a half as the midterms approach. It’s a terrible look for them. It’s really… You know, you conclude they hate America because everything American, everything good, bringing down prices, controlling inflation, controlling the border, anything like that, they’re against. And they’re doubling down. They’re speaking out now in favor of Venezuelan gang members being brought back to the U.S., They’re in favor of the open borders. They’re in favor of men competing against women in sports. You know, even that couldn’t get a single Democrat vote. What else can you conclude but they hate America and they want some dystopian version of America is what they prefer, you know, Soviet Union style, North Korea style.
SPEAKER 16 :
So, Dr. June Depth, one of my colleagues texted me this this weekend and said there’s lots more to talk about regarding Trump delivering so much so fast that he fears our side will return to normalcy bias and that the culture war will intensify and the shock troops of the left, which have been greatly enlarged by so many unwanted extreme elements and part of this illegal invasion for the last four years, will attempt even more destructive actions. I’m concerned about that as well. What do you think?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, I agree. The left is so entrenched. They’re not going to go away easily. It’s not like Trump gets into office and makes a few cabinet appointments and you reverse things. I equate it to the thousand-foot freighters in the Great Lake that are chugging along at 20 miles an hour. It takes them five miles to come to a stop. They have such momentum. And the deep state has momentum. Everybody’s complaining, you know, Pam Bondi, she’s been the attorney general for a month or if that. And, you know, oh, where are the arrests? Where’s this? Where’s that? Well, you’re coming into a massive agency that’s very corrupt. She doesn’t know who she can trust. She doesn’t know who’s going to sabotage her and lay landmines. They have to do this all by the book, whether it’s JFK files, Epstein files. January 6th stuff, anything that you want a reckoning on, you’ve got to come into an agency, totally reorganize it, and make sure you have people that are working in your direction and not against you. And they have to produce airtight cases. Indictments have to be done in secret. You can’t just go out and arrest. That’s what Biden did. And that’s not the way the game’s played. You have to get do investigations, indictments. A lot of that has to be done in secret because if they mess up on anything, you’re going to have some wacko judge like this Boberg guy that just, you know, called the Venezuelan criminals back to the U.S. You get judges like that that say, you know, no, dismiss the case. So all this has to be done carefully and it’s going to take time. And I think Trump knows that and he’s In his speech to the DOJ, he expressed confidence in Bondi. It’ll all happen, but everybody’s impatient because we’ve been waiting for this. So that’s my comment on that. But, you know, Republicans have to stand strong. And it’s going to be a long battle because, you know, the deep state is entrenched. They have tentacles everywhere. You can’t just root it out in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, they really, really do. And so it’s remarkable as we’re watching this, Dr. June Depp, on what is happening. And we’re going to go to break. And when we come back, you mentioned that Bondi and company, that they want to do these things by the book. And it’s really important that Trump stays within his constitutional guardrails as well. And we’re talking about, first of all, this piece that he’s written, published at American Thinker. Democrats stand for Ukraine but sit for America. And Dr. Joondepth, you mentioned Pam Bondi. They all need to make sure that they have everything done by the book. And, of course, the book is the Constitution. And you’ve got these activist judges in these lower-level judges that are making decisions to, I think, try to slow down. I don’t think they have the jurisdiction to do what they’re doing, but they’re trying to slow things down from a legal standpoint on what the Trump administration does. is trying to accomplish. But I really appreciate what Trump is doing, but I too want him to stay within the confines of the Constitution. But within the confines of the Constitution, he’s the head of all these federal agencies, yes?
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s correct. And I think what, I don’t know, I’m speculating, but I think what he’s doing is allowing a lot of these cases to accumulate of activist judges and not running to the Supreme Court with one instance. when he’s got a dozen or two dozen of these cases of judicial overreach of separation of power issues and the judiciary controlling the executive branch, when he’s got a, you know, 10, 20 of these cases, then go to Supreme Court to get clarification. And I think he’ll get it. I mean, we elect, Article 2, you know, we elect a president who heads the executive branch. And that’s plenary power or whatever the term is for it, but the executive, chief executive has the power and not the judges. And wisely, he’s ignoring some of these orders. He didn’t turn the planes of Venezuelan gang members around. Just ignore it. Like, I don’t know, one of the past presidents said to the Supreme Court, yeah, they got their decision. Now let them enforce it kind of thing. But yes, it’s important. that these prosecutions, investigations, everything stay within the Constitution. We have to do it right. If the Constitution is tossed out, there goes the country. It has to follow the rule of law and the Constitution. And that’s all on Trump’s side, because what these people did is wrong. And if we don’t follow the Constitution, if Trump deviates and does what Biden did, then it opens the door. There will be a Democrat president someday in the future. And if we set a bad precedent, it’ll make Biden’s presidency look like a day at the beach. They could really take advantage. What’s interesting now, just a little side, because reading this morning, Trump keeps on about this auto pen that’s been signing stuff for Biden. And apparently there were two auto pens and every executive order pardoned everything signed by the auto pen. Trump is going on and on about this is how it’s fraudulent and not legitimate. And I think that’s going to be very interesting to watch in the next few weeks. Keep your eyes on that because Trump keeps mentioning it. He’s not, you know, he doesn’t say things by accident. And if he keeps mentioning something, there’s a reason for it. I think this could get very interesting of whether all the pardons, And many executive orders are null and void because the president wasn’t aware. We have Robert Herr’s special counsel testimony is that Biden’s basically cognitively impaired and doesn’t have the mental capacity to be put on trial. You know, he’s a kindly old guy with a bad memory. And I would debate the kindly.

Yeah, he’s an old man with a bad memory. And that’s true. uh when you pardon people there has to be a process an investigation and it’s uh you know the trump now has access to all those white house records what was done and who did what and i think there’s going to be an investigation otherwise he wouldn’t keep on it but that’s that’s Outside the Constitution, too. Imagine the earthquake if all the pardons are declared null and void. I think that would have to go to the Supreme Court as well. So interesting times ahead.
SPEAKER 16 :
Okay. I hadn’t seen this until you just mentioned this. This was yesterday on this auto pin. And then two hours ago, the Independent said Biden accused of using an auto pin on official White House documents. I did see a headline this weekend that Biden apparently – The illusion was that he was at the White House, but then they were able to figure out he was on some Caribbean island. And this is really, this is so dishonest to the American people. So we’ve got to continue to shed light on this. This is going to be really interesting. And you’re right. Trump doesn’t say something. When he said that they were spying on him and all the mainstream media said, oh, he’s crazy. They were spying on him, right?
SPEAKER 10 :
They were. No, Trump is… He mentioned it, I don’t know, last week in a tweet or something, and then he mentioned it at his speech in front of the DOJ on Friday. And then on a truth or something this morning, he mentioned it. He mentioned it on Air Force One. He’s been talking about it. It’s probably four or five, six times that he’s been… that he’s said something about it. That’s no accident. So… People are going to get worried because fraud nullifies everything. I mean, it just shows most of the Biden presidency, if not all of it, was a fraud from his election to everything he did. Notice how Trump, day one, right after he was inaugurated, the cameras were on him in the Oval Office or in the Capitol, both places, and he was signing executive orders The media was there. They were questioning him. He was answering as he was signing. He had his Sharpie out. He was signing, holding them up one by one over and over and over. He didn’t have to do that in public. Very interesting. He did that in public to show the world, this is how you sign executive orders. Now we hear there’s an oral pen. same signature on everything there’s like only one signature that’s that’s different but the signatures are identical and it’s auto pen and who is operating and then who’s authorization that one signature that was different yeah that that one signature dr june depth that was different was probably an x right he just yeah exactly put his finger painting or something but Yeah, apparently now I heard there were two auto pens. It was a little bit different about the end of it. But you look at all the executive orders, the identical signature. Nobody has an identical signature. So keep your eye on this one. This is going to be interesting.

Well, and I just looked up auto pin from Wikipedia. It says an auto pin is a device used for the automatic signing of a signature. Celebrities may be asked to provide their signatures many times a day, such as celebrities receiving requests for autographs. Consequently, many public figures employ auto pins to allow their signature to be printed on demand and without their direct involvement. Dr. June Depp, it’s the little things that takes down big things. I think this is going to be huge.
SPEAKER 10 :
Oh, absolutely. I mean, other presidents have used Autopen, but what are you using it for? You’re sending out thank you cards. You’re sending out condolences. The president sends a condolence note to, you know, there’s a disaster and 100 people die, and you send out condolence notes. Often they’ll use an Autopen on that. Or, you know, ceremonial stuff. You know, honor you for becoming fire chief of some town or something, and you get a note from the president. That’s fine. That’s not a consequential document. We’re talking about executive orders, presidential pardons. There’s a process for these, and the president has to be directly involved and concur with this. To do a pardon, there has to be a review. of the person’s crimes and their sentence and all that. There has to be a paper trail for all this. And I’ll bet there isn’t. That’s why Trump’s bringing it up, because the investigation is going to find that there’s nothing. And who is making the decisions? Is it Joe Biden? Was it the chief of staff? Was it Susan Rice, Tony Blinken, Jake Sullivan? I don’t know. Who is in charge? Regardless, they weren’t elected. This is a huge problem. And I think ultimately the Supreme Court’s going to have to step in and decide. What a mess. Can you imagine executive orders and money spent fraudulently? Wow. All these pardons, they’re null and void. You know, that’s why Adam Schiff was so upset with Robert Herr’s report about Biden’s mental capacity. You know, Schiff’s a lawyer. He’s no dummy. he probably had a sense of what’s coming but you know all the January 6th committee people and everybody else that was pardoned Biden’s family why is Hunter in South Africa thought he had no money pleading poverty and he’s vacationing in South Africa with Secret Service what’s wrong with that picture is he coming back or is he going to set up shop there South Africa

So the mainstream media, many of these hosts, it looks like in many ways it’s imploding. So to get eyes on this auto pin story, how do you think that’s going to play out, Dr. June Depth?
SPEAKER 10 :
The media is going to have to cover it because Trump is putting it out there constantly. It’s over and over and over. And I don’t know. You’ve got new leadership at the FBI. Dan Bongino joined the FBI this morning. Kash Patel. Let’s see what happens. Believe me, Trump is not bringing this up over and over because he forgot that he talked about it the day before. This is not Biden. This is very deliberate, and it’ll be. uh, fascinating to see where this leads.
SPEAKER 16 :
Oh, this is, this is, yeah. We have a couple of minutes left. I quickly, uh, your other piece at Rasmussen reports regarding, uh, the, what exactly does I support Ukraine mean? How would you give us a quick synopsis on that?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, it’s, it’s to put it simply, it’s virtue signaling. I noticed, uh, on my social media, particularly Facebook. Everybody’s got their Ukraine flags, and I stand with Ukraine. And I’m thinking, well, what does that exactly mean? Are you going to volunteer to go over there and fight Russia? Are you going to send your kids over there? Are you going to send money to Ukraine? A hundred billion that we sent over there is unaccounted for, according to Zelensky. And you’ve got Ukrainians living large in a lot of European cities. I’ve heard anecdotally people going to resort towns in Europe, and Ukrainians are the ones that are the big spenders over there. They’re in Gucci and Louis Vuitton, and they’re buying the stores out, and they’re the high rollers. Where do all that money come from? I mean, Ukraine’s not a wealthy country, but you’ve got a lot of elites that have lots of money. So are you going to stand with that? Are you going to send troops? What does it mean? It’s really a lot of… virtue signaling with nothing behind it. I mean, we’re three years into this war. This war could have been avoided. We’ve been provoking Putin since 1989 when Jim Baker and George Bush said, you know, to Gorbachev, tear down the wall and we won’t expand NATO one inch further to the east. And guess what? 17 countries later or whatever it is, these are red lines that we’ve continued to cross. And Russia has reacted as they would. And what’s the end game here? You stand with Ukraine, but how does this end? How does this actually work? Do we keep sending money? Do we keep sending weaponry? Do Ukrainians keep dying? Do Russians keep dying? What happens if we trigger something bigger? How does it end? What’s the end game here? Nobody has an answer for that. There’s no plan. It’s just I stand with Ukraine. It’s virtue signaling. It’s like five years ago, you had your Facebook emoji of, you know, oh, I’m wearing a mask or I’m keeping my six foot distance. Or I got vaccinated. And it’s virtue signaling. And it really doesn’t mean much.

So I would seriously think about the exposure they have, and if they haven’t covered it by transferring the risk to a life insurance company, then you can do that for them. You can’t tax deduct it. You could even be the beneficiary and then pass that money on as a gift to the surviving spouse. So yeah, there are other creative ways, but that’s one. Have the grandparents step in and be the catalyst to fund that.

I think it’s a really good idea. You think about Christmastime. Many times people may give a gift, and you love to give gifts, but many times those gifts may be a sweater that you didn’t like. I’ve always said that cash is a great gift because it’s the right color and it’s the right size. But I think you could morph that over to life insurance for these young families today. because that way you’re sure that that’s taken care of. So I think that’s a super idea, and people can reach you at 303-795-8855 to do that. But we’ve been talking about transfer of risk, and I know we’ve talked about it before, but there’s this home system protection coverage, which it’s not that expensive, is it?

No, it’s about $9 a month, and usually you add it to your homeowner’s policy. So let’s say $100 a year. And you can get $50,000 of coverage for such breakdowns as mechanical breakdowns, electrical breakdowns, bursting, cracking, or splitting of underground pipes. Your furnace, boiler, heat pump, if they go out, that’s a pretty big expense. Central air, conventional solar panels, permanently installed security monitors and control devices in the house. chair lifts, radiant floor heating. I mean, so many things in the home that could go, could bust your budget for sure. Because some of these things today are ungodly. A hot water heater, for example, I remember the days you can go to, let’s say Home Depot and buy one for $600 and install it yourself. Today, that’s $1,200 to $1,500 and it needs to, you almost need a permit to put it in. And you have to have a plumber do it because it has to be the code. But a 10-year-old said and done hot water heater replacement could run you $2,000 easily. So this kind of policy, this endorsement to a policy, it’s not a policy, would step in. And if your house is less 15 years or newer, you have $50,000 of coverage. If it’s older than that, you have a limit of $2,000 for obvious reasons. your equipment could break down much easier when the home is older.

And there’s so many different headlines that they just keep on coming, which is hard to believe. And yesterday, when I was out at Holyoke, I was talking with someone, and they said, I’m concerned about Donald Trump shutting down the Department of Education, because here in Colorado, would that mean that all of that education money would be coming to Colorado, and I don’t really trust the people here in Colorado with how they’re spending money on education. And even so, and this headline came from CNN Politics. This was last week. It says, The Education Department is cutting nearly half of its workforce. We really want to be pushing these decisions that can be made on the state level. and the local level out to where those decisions can be made. Centralized control is something that communists really want. And so we want to decentralize control. We want to make sure that there’s more people looking at things. And so granted, we may not like what is happening here in Colorado, but the The fact that other states would then have that money pushed out to them as well. And I think we have to really start to ask ourselves, should we be sending all of this money to Washington where they then take their cut and they disseminate that money back out to wherever? I think, and Donald Trump, headlines are saying that he wants to eliminate income tax on almost 93% of Americans. And wouldn’t that be something, to not have the federal government be taking money out of your paycheck? And so instead of sending the money to Washington, D.C., they take their cut, they decide where that money’s going to go, to actually have us keep, first of all, that money in our pocket and And then secondly, to be making these decisions in each of the 50 states and even pushing this back down into the school districts, keep more money in our pockets so we can fund all these things ourselves. Granted, Colorado is really, I think, at the center of crazyville on all these things that are happening. But then we need to roll up our sleeves and engage in the battle together. here in Colorado regarding all of these different issues. And as you know, I have so many different guests on so many different important issues. Obviously, we will be focusing on elections, climate change, children, property rights. All those things are near and dear to my heart. So the fact that the U.S. Department of Education is going to be significantly reduced, I think, is very, very important. I think it’s a A very positive step in the right direction. Next headline that I thought was super interesting. And it says, could climate change actually be reversing itself? Huh? And this is from Weather Fox. And climate change is really this narrative regarding the Green New Deal. And the Green New Deal is about the green that’s been going into all of these people, these PBIs pockets, these politicians, bureaucrats, and interested parties. And you’re going to see probably different articles that are going to try to debate this issue because with Lee Zeldin, The administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, we read his whole article this last Friday, he said he’s putting the dagger in the heart of the Green New Deal. And what does that mean exactly? I think that means that instead of all of this money being pushed out to push this particular agenda, that we’re going to see a big change in this. And so that’s why I’d highly recommend that you check out climateconversation.com, which is the documentary that I was involved in regarding this particular issue. It’s been broadcast a number of times on Newsmax, and I think it’s going to continue to get more and more legs. This whole narrative that is out there. And so stay tuned on that. I think that that’s pretty important to be watching what is happening with all of these different issues that are going on out there. And I really want to talk with somebody that has just really interesting history regarding this whole climate agenda. And that is Dr. Patrick Moore. He is one of the co-founders of Greenpeace. And when he realized that this was moving into more of a political agenda versus Greenpeace trying to really protect our environment and climate, shed light on what is happening. He decided to do something different, and he’s known as the sensible environmentalist, Dr. Patrick Moore. I am so excited to talk with you.
SPEAKER 07 :
Nice to be with you again, Kim. It’s been a while.
SPEAKER 16 :
It’s been much too long. And I did want to mention that we did a great podcast with you for aclimateconversation.com as well, and people can find that there. But Dr. Moore, Patrick, so much has happened with Trump in office now. Lee Zeldin, administrator of the EPA, said they’re going to put a dagger into the heart of the Green New Deal. You care deeply about our environment. What do you think about all this, Patrick Moore?
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, it’s about time, Kim, that they were called out on this, all these lies. The fact is that the Green New Deal would basically destroy human civilization completely worldwide. There is no possibility that we could reduce CO2 to zero. This is just insane. But the whole thing is a lie in the first place, because carbon dioxide is the basis of all life. Every living thing on Earth depends on carbon dioxide, whether it’s the plants which produce it or the animals which consume it. It’s a perfect circle. And the problem is, though, is that as time has gone on over the hundreds of millions of years, CO2 had become reduced to a level that was so low before we started burning fossil fuels and rising it back up somewhat. We were going out. CO2 had gone down to 180 parts per million. And that was only 30 parts per million above the level where CO2 would become not possible for us to live in. And this is so insane that they would do such a thing as make this up. Carbon dioxide is the basis of all life. That’s all we really need to know. At one time, it was 10,000 parts per million. But over the millennia, say the last 500 million years, the CO2 has been captured and put into fossil fuels and into limestone. And this is what people don’t even know about. Limestone is calcium carbonate. The carbon in calcium carbonate was created by shellfish in the ocean. And that’s where most of the CO2 has gone. Once it’s locked up in limestone, calcium carbonate, white cliffs of Dover are made with calcium carbonate, which were the shells of sea creatures. And it doesn’t just break down. It becomes locked into these rocks. Whereas with the fossil fuels, we can extract them and burn them for energy. This increases the CO2 in the atmosphere and is nothing but 100% good for life. So it would take me three hours to explain this in full detail. But the fact of the matter is that CO2 is 100% desirable, 100% necessary for life to exist. And it’s been turned into a lie that CO2 is somehow making the Earth too hot, when in fact we are living in the Pleistocene Ice Age at this time in history. That’s why there are ice sheets on both poles, Antarctica, where there was once forests, and the Arctic, where there was once a sea, rather than a giant sheet of ice on top of the sea. And that’s all there is to it. It is so backwards. It is amazing that the human species has fallen for this lie in such a big way because people are afraid. People are afraid they’re going to die. Of course, we’re all going to die. The fear of dying as a way of making this phony CO2 is going to kill us all. It is totally phony. It is the exact opposite. It is a good thing.
SPEAKER 16 :
Well, and that’s why your book, Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom, is so important. I have your book, and I would highly recommend that people have that book as well. Because what they do, and what I’ve learned from you, is these extremists, they choose something that we don’t know. It could be the polar ice caps. It could be the polar bears. It’s things… Or the coral reefs. It’s things that everyday people, just trying to take care of themselves and their families, they can’t go. They can’t see it. So it becomes a fake catastrophe. And then they use that to threaten people, to scare people. And it’s been effective, but I think the… I think the veil is coming off at this big time, Dr. Moore.
SPEAKER 07 :
I’m hoping so, too, Kim. It seems as if with Trump in power and again, they’re trying to make him into the boogeyman when in fact he is helping to turn the whole thing around. The United States, of course, I’m a Canadian, but we’re joined at the hip. And in some ways, I think we would probably do better off if we were a part of the United States. But, you know, you can’t say that up here because people are afraid of him because he’s a bad guy. And yet, at the same time, he understands this better than any president has for a long time. The CO2 scare has gone right through the whole of society, not just on this side of the world, but in Europe. But it’s interesting that India, China, and Russia don’t buy into this. And I don’t know why that is. It’s not because we’re stupider than they are, I don’t think. But it has worked in our free societies. And we have now the Environmental Protection Agency saying we’re going to have net zero CO2. Well, that’s net zero life is what that is. There’s simply no doubt about that. I mean, every plant on this earth is producing CO2, and all the animals are using it. Sorry, every plant is producing oxygen, and every animal is consuming CO2. CO2, consuming that oxygen. Here I am, 50 years of experience, and I’m getting CO2 and oxygen backwards. But these are the two main elements of life, is the oxygen produced by the plants and used by the animals. We breathe out CO2. Because it’s a waste product for an animal. But it’s a life product for a plant. And if there were no plants, there would be no animals. It’s as simple as that. And some of these things are so simple that it’s amazing that the whole population can be duped into thinking the opposite of what is true.

Patrick we’re talking about co2 it’s a big circle of life we as as mammals human beings animals we put out co2 plants use that that’s what they live on they put out oxygen it’s a beautiful circle of life but co2 has been demonized as a greenhouse gas but wait greenhouses are good But we’re seeing public policy now, particularly here in the West, of tax incentives going into CO2 pipelines to capture CO2, put it into these pipelines, and insert it into the earth. And if you take away those tax incentives, then that’s not going to happen. So I really would like the Trump administration to get rid of those tax incentives. But I also think it’s a really dumb idea. But what do you think, Patrick Moore?
SPEAKER 07 :
It’s a double dumb idea. I mean, it’s the most ridiculous thing in the world. You cannot do this without huge subsidies. CO2, putting it back in the ground again, it’s insane. And yet it has been, see, that’s why I call it fake invisible catastrophes. because people can’t see carbon dioxide and there are many other things like you mentioned coral reefs with what percentage of the human population have have made a thing about going on to coral reefs and seeing what is actually happening and understanding what is happening there it’s an infinitesimally small percentage of the and polar bears they are used polar bear population has doubled and tripled over and over and over again since polar bear hunting was restricted. Up until 1971 or two, I forget which now, polar bear hunting was open to anybody. You could just go and kill a polar bear. You hire a guide and you got another bear. When they changed that and had a global, all around the Arctic, every Arctic country came into it a treaty to stop unrestricted hunting of polar bears in the early 1970s. Nobody ever talks about that, but that is what happened. And now we have a much larger polar bear population than we did at that time. It had gone down to a very low level, maybe only 8 or 10,000. And now it’s up to 50, 60,000 and more. The people are being lied to every day by these scaremothers. And my book is on Amazon. Both my books that you mentioned, Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom and Confessions of a Greenpeace Dropout, are both on Amazon. I have huge sales for them and nearly 4,000 replies to the book. Read them. You’ll see that people are understanding it. And there’s no way that CO2 is negative. There’s nothing negative about it. Greenhouse growers, one of the reasons they make the greenhouse so that it’s sealed is so they can get the CO2 level up to two to three times what it is in the global atmosphere in order to get the plants more productive. That is an absolute fact, and you can’t deny it. CO2 had gone down to very low levels due to the capture of CO2 in marine creatures in particular that all of the all of the fossil fuels oil coal and gas are made from life they were part of the living thing at one time and they got buried in the ground and the only way they can come back out of the ground is if we do it or there’s a volcano there are natural ways for co2 to get into the atmosphere but the fact of the matter is is that life is so powerful in taking CO2 and turning it into fossil fuels that the best way to deal with that is to use them for energy, because all you’re doing is reversing the situation and increasing the CO2 in the atmosphere, which increases life on the planet. It is a 100% positive thing. It’s virtually impossible to have too much CO2 under the circumstances being presented today. There was very little life in terms of the biomass, the weight of life. When forests evolved 300 million years ago, suddenly large amounts of CO2 were taken in by the trees to make the wood. And when we burn the wood, we are simply releasing the CO2 back into the atmosphere that the trees take out. So understanding the balance is really important. And the balance has to do with oxygen and carbon dioxide. And the carbon in carbon dioxide is the basis for virtually every element in your whole body. And in every tree and in every living thing. And so we should celebrate CO2, not deny it.
SPEAKER 16 :
Well, and Gregory Wrightstone in the film, Climate Conversation, said it’s the miracle molecule. So, Dr. Patrick Moore, you mentioned oil, natural gas and coal. So we’re extracting coal and natural gas and oil, and with hydraulic fracturing and with horizontal drilling, we’ve been able to unleash more and more of these resources. Does the earth continue to make more of these resources, and are we going to deplete them? What do you think about that?
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, no, when we release the CO2 by burning fossil fuels, coal, oil, and gas, we are replenishing the atmosphere with the stuff of life. The beginning of life is life taking CO2 and turning it into living things, which are basically the plants, and the trees being more than 90% of the biomass plant life on Earth. When trees evolved, all of a sudden CO2 went down very radically. And eventually, life which was able to digest wood came into being. The reason most of the coal is from early years when the forests evolved is there was no elements that could digest wood lignin is the key cellulose and lignin is what wood is made out of and it’s interesting to note that the stem of a tree is exactly the same as a reinforced concrete column the cellulose is the concrete the lignin is the rebar and you can’t you can’t just make a concrete pillar 100 feet high without expecting it to fall over and break. But as soon as you put the rebar in it, it becomes a very strong pole. And that is the reason why it took about 100 million years for life to figure out how to create an enzyme that could digest lignin, which is the concrete. And eventually then, the thing balanced out a little bit more and CO2 went up considerably higher in the atmosphere. This is back to 300 million years ago and now we have a balance and humans by refusing to participate in this balance by releasing more CO2 into the atmosphere are behaving in a negative fashion. This whole thing about burying carbon dioxide in the ground is insane. Not only that, it’s really expensive and would be much better off if we would just let the plants have the CO2 and then we can use them as energy. A great deal of the energy in our society is from wood, especially in developing countries and in tropical countries where there’s a tremendous amount of wood. And I grew up in forestry on the north end of Vancouver Island. And I was so lucky to have a job of timber cruising and going through these forests every day as I worked putting roads in and that sort of thing. And I learned about all of this as a result. But not that many people in cities have an understanding of it because they’re not living in it, and they’re being given all this propaganda about how burning wood is bad for the environment. It’s completely ridiculous. It’s a cycle, and the cycle includes CO2 as the stuff of life, the staff of life. It’s the beginning of life, and that is all there is to it.
SPEAKER 16 :
Well, and then the bottom line and in conclusion and your comment on this is ultimately is if you look at this, you said CO2 is the basis of life. If you demonize CO2, you’re demonizing life, right, Dr. Patrick Moore?
SPEAKER 07 :
That is absolutely correct. And people are being made to feel guilty. You see, that’s the whole thing about it. Guilt is a very powerful motivator. If you can make people feel guilty, they will stop doing it. something that is actually beneficial, which is the use of wood and the growing of more trees. Of course I’m in favor of planting trees and growing trees and having the landscape covered in them, but using them is also part of the cycle. It’s just like we eat plants to make ourselves, but we use wood to build are cities and towns. And sure, concrete is great, but wood is good. There’s nothing wrong with using wood. And people are saying, oh, you mustn’t cut the trees down. Well, if you don’t cut them down, they won’t make the cycle with the animals that use the CO2 and the oxygen We’re made of CO2 and made of oxygen, made of carbon. And people have to understand that and not be afraid of it. Because this idea about putting CO2 into the ground in pipelines is so absolutely backwards.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 07 :
It just doesn’t make any sense at all. As a matter of fact, it is the opposite of sensibilities. We should be using the resources, especially the living ones, but it has to be in a way that doesn’t destroy the forests. Look what happened in Los Angeles. That’s a perfect example of not understanding ecosystems, not understanding life, is that those environments that are so dry and the trees there are designed by nature to survive these ground fires. But when you go in there, like with the Camp Fire in California and now the LA fires, it’s because they’re not cutting down the brush underneath all around, letting it grow for 20 years. And then all of a sudden you get these fires and every home is burnt to the ground. If the homes weren’t there, it wouldn’t be a problem because the brush would be burned off and the trees would remain living. And so understanding these ecosystems is not easy for people, especially when they’re being brainwashed by scaremongers and in government. I’m so glad to see Elon Musk joining with President Trump in bringing some sensibility back into the discussion.
SPEAKER 16 :

It’s probably pretty good for you, yes? Yeah, yeah. So people can take it. So, well, great. And when we were texting back and forth, you said that there was a little girl that was visiting Red Rocks and she was so excited about the celebration.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yes, she came. She was a young lady. She came from Chicago with her dad and she insisted that he take her to Red Rocks because she’d seen so many concerts on TV and stuff and She went there and she saw our party on the patio where we had cupcakes and people were gathering. She came over to see what it was all about and she got very excited and gave me a big hug. That was one of the highlights. Several groups sang. There was a family with two or three kids that sang happy birthday to me and a couple of older ladies that came over and sang to me. So it was a really fun party.
SPEAKER 16 :
Oh, that is so awesome. And Paula Sarles, one of the reasons that I so support the USMC Memorial Foundation and all the work that you’re doing regarding the remodel of the Marine Memorial, it was dedicated in 1977, is we have the blessings of liberty as individuals. And blessings at St. Patrick’s Day, we think about Irish blessings. But this blessing, it’s important for us to stop, reflect on those that have given their lives or been willing to give their lives so that we have this liberty. Our ancestors burned wood for heating, then took the ashes and put them in the garden. What was left were the minerals for plant fertilizer. Thank you, Jenny. Okay. Another one, my nephew is a farmer in Minnesota. He tells me that with the reduction of burning fossil fuels, there’s less sulfur in the air. Now he has to add sulfur chemically to the soil. Interesting. Next one, Dr. Patrick Moore needs to be in your next climate documentary. And Walt Johnson is kicking around the sequel. to a climate conversation. So we’ll let him take that under advisement. And then lastly, this CO2 pipelines are nothing but a land grab and will become a slush fund for the left. It makes me think of the bullet train to nowhere in California. I doubt that the pipelines would ever be built, even if they collect all the money for them, but they are trying to take the land. And so that’s a really important point as well. And then lastly, Holly says this, Dr. Moore has an excellent point. How on earth has Western civilization fallen for the exact opposite regarding climate change than what is really true? Are we teaching our children nothing in the classroom anymore? More reasons not to give government any more money for education until they learn how to educate our children. Great points, my friends. And our quote for the end of the show just made me laugh.
