SPEAKER 10 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior. From the Relief Factor Studios, here’s Mike Deller.
SPEAKER 09 :
I’m trying to catch my breath. I mean, really. I’m tired of weekends spent glued to the phone, watching social media explode. I had to finally take a time out yesterday afternoon because there is so much happening online. Trump, incidentally, on polling data, Trump has the highest favorabilities he’s ever had. People polled believe that the country is headed in the right direction at a higher level than we’ve seen in decades. Democrats polling is at an historic, epic low. People are freaking out. It is really remarkable to watch the meltdown. And I have to admit, the meltdown is a little bit alarming. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. First of all, let me start with the one thing I got on my stupid pea brain on this St. Patrick’s Day that I got to get your reaction to. Because I’m torn on this. When I first saw President Trump get bopped in the face by a boom microphone… I thought, well, yikes, that poor guy or gal, whoever did that, that’s unfortunate. But then I started doing the deep dive on social media, which I probably shouldn’t do. Laura Loomer, the provocative, sharp-elbowed, explosive force of nature, She claims that the boom mic was held by a Trump-hating NPR reporter. The Trump-hating NPR reporter immediately locked down her social media accounts so the people couldn’t see her previous anti-Trump posts. And… I have to tell you something. I started looking at it with a whole different light. Now, no, no, no, no. Don’t play the AI version of Trump getting hit by a microphone. Christian, stop it. Stop it. You imp. You mischievous. Please don’t look at what we just played a moment ago was AI with a bunch of microphones hitting him in the face. Now, we can laugh at this. But on the other hand, there is a real serious side to remembering that He was nearly killed twice. He survived two assassination attempts. I don’t know what happens if you put a little bit of a foreign agent, some kind of a material on a boom mic and it touches the commander-in-chief. Look, if they’re celebrating the murder of the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, what would they do for the NPR reporter if she managed to take out Trump? They’d give her a ticker tape parade. They would try to name a park after her. And my question to you is, was it an accident or was it intentional? Did you see it? You know, you see the wide shot of this wispy-looking woman holding this lengthy boom mic. First of all, she’s an actual reporter, so I don’t know what she’s even doing holding a boom mic. Is NPR in such dire straits economically that they don’t have engineers in the field with their reporters? I mean, just the mechanics of it don’t make a lot of sense. She’s holding a boom mic on a long telescopic… What do you call that, Eric? A telescopic pole. It’s like a pole, a boom pole, and she bops the president in the face. And, you know, he handled it like a pro. I mean, he laughed it off. Do we have the moment what he said? It’s really good. I mean, he just kind of said, ah, that’s going to make the news. But you also notice he kind of takes his tongue and he kind of flicks it inside his mouth like it hurt. It hit him pretty good. I think. All right, here’s what the president said. Here was the moment that The boom mic hits him in the face, and he reacts to it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Mr. President, you’re concerned about the situation in Gaza. What are the hopes now to get the hospitals back? She just became a big story tonight. Right? Yes, sir. Did you see that?
SPEAKER 09 :
And so that was it. He just laughed it off and said, that’s going to be a big story tonight. She made television tonight. But you can see him take his tongue. And you know how you get like a cut inside your mouth or a bump or something? You kind of put your tongue. It’s like it kind of hurt. Doesn’t have to hurt if there was just a little bit of a foreign deadly substance on the edge of that microphone. Now, I know I’m into crazy conspiratorial territory here. But can we be real for a moment? Can we be honest here? Would that surprise you if a Trump-hating NPR reporter attempted to do him harm? I mean, what are people on the left saying about her? Good for her? She should have hit him harder? Should she lose her job? Should she be part of the White House press pool? I have a hunch her career has gone in a different direction. As a result of what happened. I don’t know if they confiscated that boom mic to make sure that there was no dangerous substance on the windscreen. Those furry things that they put over microphones to try to block out the wind. Maybe it’s a nothing burger. I don’t know. I want to find out from you. So I turn to the smartest people I know. And I am even more convinced of that after the phone calls I made thanking people for their $1,000 donations to our Food for the Poor campaign. We started an exercise that has blossomed into something that I’m really treasuring. My one-on-one conversations with people who have made a $1,000 or greater contribution to our March campaign, we’re just a few thousand away from hitting $80,000 in donations. That’s doubling our goal. And you know where a lot of these kids are going to benefit? El Salvador. You know what happened with El Salvador? The president is accepting responsibility and incarcerating the Tren de Aragua gang members that Trump deported, which a judge tried to stop. We’re going to tell you all about that as well. And so I said, all right, if you make a $1,000 donation or more, I’ll call you personally and thank you. And I did. I called all weekend, and I had some of the most delightful conversations ever. in my career, a farmer in Washington state, a lawyer in Atlanta, a widower in Dallas. He got to me because I said, when did you lose your wife? He said, you and I share, have a shared experience. We both lost our wives. And I said, when did you lose your wife? And his answer brought me to my knees. He said, eight years, 11 months, and 13 days. I mean, he knew to the day when his precious wife passed away. And, you know, I hate to say it, but I know that feeling. We lost somebody here in our Salem-Tampa community over the weekend. And I don’t even want to talk to Tracy about it because I know Tracy and Ken Zier had a friendship starting early every day, the two of them hanging out, talking talking shop, talking about the world. And I’ve got some thoughts about the unexpected passing of one of our team members here at the Salem Tampa community. I’ll share that with you here in just a few moments and just kind of get that off my chest and share what’s on my heart about the passing of the beloved Ken Zier, who died unexpectedly over the weekend, leaving behind his wife and two daughters. So I’m going to turn to the smartest people I know. 800-655-MIKE. We’re in the Relief Factor studios. You know, I was noticing a lot of shows have some nice, peppy St. Patrick’s Day music, Eric. I don’t know about this normal bumper music. I forgot to put on green today, so maybe we ought to make up for it with some St. Patrick’s Day music. Well, we’ll see. But in the meantime, tell me what you think about the boom mic. Did you see it? Do you think it was intentional? Do you think it was accidental? Do you believe that it’s possible that a Trump-hating NPR reporter could try to do harm to President Trump? Is that a crazy thing to even consider? Or am I being out of my mind here with all of the frenzy and the frazzled nerves and the hyper atmosphere that’s going on right now? It’s crazy. You go on social media, it’s nuts. You go to X, Instagram, any of these places, Facebook, holy moly. It’s like Armageddon out there. 800-655-MIKE. Give me your take on the boom mic that popped President Trump in the mouth. 800, am I overreacting or do you think this lady should absolutely be removed from the White House press pool and there should be some accountability and she might have done it on purpose? Do you think she did it on purpose? 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. I hope you join us. Ph.D. weight loss has changed my life, and I’ve got a little secret for you. SPEAKER 10 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior. From the Relief Factor Studios, here’s Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 09 :
Crisis averted. We had a major catastrophe here at the Mike Gallagher Show. I forgot to wear green. A guy forgets to put green on for St. Patrick’s Day. A guy who’s about to inflict pain and suffering upon people by singing Danny Boy. And it’s this hour, one time, one time only. Big drama about that because a lot of people don’t like my singing. And then it hurts my feelings. I’m very thin-skinned, in case you haven’t figured it out. So Tracy fashioned… It looks pretty good on camera. If you’re watching on Salem News Channel, I now have a shamrock on my lapel. On my right lapel. My left lapel, I have an American flag. My right lapel, I have a shamrock. I’m covered. So we will present Danny Boy… The proper way. Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Let’s take our breath. Let’s catch our breath and try to recap everything that happened over the weekend. It’s almost impossible to keep up. And I’m starting to believe that going on social media is hazardous to your health. People are so angry. Some people. Not many. In fact, according to, well, CNN polling, not only are Democrats historically unpopular, but the country is headed in the right direction, according to NBC. This is a double whammy. And to people who are enraged right now, and I mean this, I’m delivering a message to those who might be listening to my voice or watching this show on Salem News Channel. If you are driving around in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and you’re listening to 98.9 WORD, and you’re enraged, you’re mad at Elon, you’re mad at Trump, maybe you’re mad at, I don’t know, Melania? Did she do something wrong? Barron? Maybe you’re mad at the kid. You’re just mad. You’re so angry, you’re screaming at town hall meetings of your congressmen. I saw one in, was it Asheville, I think? Asheville, North Carolina? This guy stands up and starts shrieking obscenities. You’re taking away my Social Security? You’re taking away anybody’s Social Security. Nobody’s doing that. But the rage that people are feeling, you’re angry at… Gang members from Tren de Aragua being shipped to El Salvador? That angers you? You’re worried about their rights? The gang members who have done monstrous things to this country and to the communities that they infiltrated? My gosh. I want to talk with those who are so angry. What are you so angry about? Why are you so unhinged? And maybe it’s just not that many people. Because, again, look at the polling data. First, let’s go to, and don’t just take my word for it. Let me take you to CNN. That is CNN reporting on the current state of the Democrat Party in the eyes of the American public.
SPEAKER 05 :
A brand new exclusive CNN poll that paints a brutal reality for Democrats as they struggle to mount a unified opposition to President Trump. Americans’ favorable views of the Democratic Party brand are at a record low, just 29%. That’s compared to 36% for Republicans. It is the lowest ever recorded for Democrats in CNN polling, going back more than 30 years. As you can see, the party’s numbers dropping a staggering 20 points in just four years. The CNN-SARS poll also found 57% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters are more interested in seeing their party leaders stop the GOP agenda, compared to 42% who are more interested in cutting bipartisan deals. It is a big shift from where the party stood at the start of Trump’s first term in 2017.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay, so we can stipulate Democrats are in a complete shambles right now. This morning, one of the MSNBC stars, with great bravado, quit the Democrat Party because Chuck Schumer, on Friday, relented and said, agreed to support the Republicans’ continuing resolution to keep the government open. And incidentally, I want to take 30 seconds to praise Chuck Schumer. I don’t do that very often, but we need to give credit where credit is due. I don’t know that Schumer’s intentions were all that… honorable, frankly. I think he probably did the math and figured, boy, if we let the government shut down, there are going to be a whole ton of people that are never coming back to work. Trump and Doge are going to get their wish, and that’s probably why he voted for it. But whatever reason, it doesn’t matter. In fact, I probably shouldn’t have even said that. Thank you, Senator Schumer, for doing the right thing. And even his actions are leading to more rage within the Democrat Party. But I’ve always been a guy who believes in giving credit where credit is due. And Schumer deserves a lot of credit. I think it was Scott Jennings who said that on Friday, that it took courage. It took courage for Schumer to stand up to the screeching hyenas of today’s Democrat Party. And they are. They’re losing their marbles. You got the Simone Sanders cut? Let me play this. This is this morning on MSNBC, one of the big stars of MSNBC bidding adios to her membership to the Democrat Party.
SPEAKER 06 :
Page 22 is where they zero out the money for the cops program. I didn’t write down which page it was on, but within this document, a billion dollars cut from Washington, D.C.
SPEAKER 04 :
I’m a D.C.
SPEAKER 06 :
resident, and I’m pissed. Okay, so, you know, there’s actually little that the Senate minority leader can say and the 10 Democrats that voted with the Republicans can say to appease somebody like me. I’m going to change my registration to independent.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s it. She’s out. She’s no longer a Democrat. We’ll miss you, they’ll say, perhaps. She’s going to be an independent. Maybe we all ought to be independents. I don’t know. But for those of us who like the way the country is headed, the direction the country is headed, I believe it’s incumbent upon us to try to figure out why the other side is so enraged. I mean, here’s the NBC poll. This is the highest level of Americans who think that the country is on the right track in decades. You’ve got to go back to 2012 before you ever found a poll that shows this many people in America thinking that our country is headed in the right direction. Again, this is not Fox News. This is not Newsmax. This is not Real America’s Voice. This is not One America. This is… NBC.
SPEAKER 08 :
First of all, the mood of the country. This really jumped out. We asked folks, is it on the right direction or the wrong direction? That 44 percent you say right direction. That’s up since November. And if that doesn’t seem like a lot, the last time it cracked 40 percent, you got to go back to 2012. The last time it actually hit 44 or higher, January of 2004.
SPEAKER 09 :
Now, that’s NBC. 27%, only 27%, before Trump took office in November, thought the country was headed in the right direction. Now it’s at 44%. Nearly half of all Americans believe that under Trump’s leadership, our country is headed in the right direction. Now, I’m a pragmatist. I’m a realist. I know there’s a lot of angry people. I’m trying to understand… The anger. Look, I’ve never been a big fan of let’s go own the libs. Oh, let’s own the libs. We’re going to bust chops and we’re going to own the libs. Maybe it’s because I was married to a Democrat. Maybe it’s because I’ve got Democrats in my life who I love and care about. I know that we all tend to be in our own bubbles, and I feel the way I feel very passionately today. But I also don’t want other people to be this miserable. And I just wonder if you can help. I can’t get this thought out of my head. Why are they so mad? Incidentally, the guy at the town hall, do we have that video? I think it was in Asheville. Guy goes just berserk, screaming and cursing at some, I think it was a state representative. I’ll find out in a moment. Word is he was a plant. The word is it was a troll. It was a leftist. It was a Democrat. There’s this narrative coming along that people are showing up at these Republican-led town hall meetings and they’re screaming and they’re yelling and they’re hysterical. I think the one in Asheville, very progressive community despite being in North Carolina. And I have seen video images of people in the streets. There are people with their signs protesting Elon, angry about Trump. I’ve said over and over again, I understand disagreement. I understand debate. I appreciate that people who didn’t like Trump or don’t like Trump aren’t happy with the things he’s implementing. Can you help me understand the rage? If you go down the rabbit hole of social media, it’s like you’ve got to decompress if you spend 15 minutes there because people are losing their minds. Why? You don’t want dangerous gang members deported? You don’t want border security? You don’t want inflation to go down? You don’t want an efficient federal government? Why the rage? Let’s try to tackle this. I think I’m going to start. I’ll get the ball rolling like I like to do. My theory, the Trump opponents didn’t realize how successful he would be. They didn’t anticipate that he would actually fulfill his campaign promises. They’re angry that he is actually accomplishing what he said he would accomplish. And that’s making them nuts. Elon Musk, it’s easy. He used to be one of them. They’re mad that he joined the other side. That’s it. I don’t think it’s any more complicated than that, but maybe you think it is. Let’s find out here in the Relief Factor Studios. 800-655-MIKE. Join us. One phone call does it all. Call or text. The MyPillow text line is open. 800-655-MIKE. And our call-in lines are open as well. 800-655-6453. I hope you join us. I’m coming home soon. I just got the daily report for our Food for the Poor campaign. Look, if the new kid on the block, Chris DeGaulle, beats us in the campaign, I’m in big trouble. I’m giving up. You can’t let that happen. If you like what we do… Because we’re all doing this together, this Food for the Poor campaign. I’m going to give you the phone number that I didn’t give you a moment ago. I just need 400 people to pop in 100 bucks. Let’s get 100 people today to donate $100. Food for the Poor. This is what we do. We do this a few times a year. And here’s the phone number that I left out before. If you want to make a phone call, have your credit card standing by and call Food for the Poor. 844-860-HOPE. That’s 844-860-4673. Or you can go to mikeonline.com, click on that banner at the top of the page, or just text the keyword food to 800-655-MIKE, and we’ll send you back the link. And thank you, thank you, thank you for supporting our Food for the Poor campaign. Come on, let’s get there. Come on, 400 people. Wouldn’t it be amazing? How astounding would it be if I could touch the hearts of 400 people, maybe even you, Ed, in Naples? Instead of being grumpy at me, feed starving children. Clothe the naked. Feed the hungry. Partner with the Christian ministry. All I need is 400 people to donate 100 bucks, and we’re there. We’ve got our goal. Maybe we could do it today. Go to mikeonline.com, click on the banner, or call 844-860-HOPE. Call 844-860-4673. However you reach out, I do hope you’ll join me as folks just like you all over America step up to help our friends at the Christian nonprofit international relief organization, Food for the Poor. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
SPEAKER 10 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior. From the Relief Factor Studios, here’s Mike Deller.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s a firestorm of headlines. My goodness. I think on Mondays we’re going to have to come up with a tabulation. just a summary of all the things that happened since we were last together. I can’t keep up. I really can’t. And I got real frustrated going on social media. There’s a problem with social media. And here is the problem that… I have to reconcile. I’ve got to deal with this. And it’s my headache, not yours. It’s a personal thing. You have to have discipline, right? You go down the rabbit hole of social media, and the real world doesn’t exist there. Right now, I think the real world, if I base it on social media, is this… Rage in the streets and the revolt and Trump is tanking and Americans are unhappy and people want to destroy Teslas and they’re mad about dangerous gang members being deported. I mean, it’s crazy. You look at it and the level of personal rage is off the charts. And then you flip on, oh, I don’t know, NBC. And you get a whole different picture. This is from NBC, not Newsmax. This is one of the legacy media outlets in America dutifully reporting the results of the latest polling of average Americans and how we feel about the direction of America.
SPEAKER 08 :
First of all, the mood of the country, this really jumped out. We asked folks, is it on the right direction or the wrong direction? That 44% who say right direction, that’s up since November. And if that doesn’t seem like a lot, the last time it cracked 40%, you got to go back to 2012. The last time it actually hit 44 or higher, January of 2004. Are you kidding me?
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s NBC. 44%, Steve Kornacki breaking down the numbers. I’m reading here from the Daily Wire, the last president to see a number that high was President George W. Bush, ahead of his re-election in 2004. Trump has tied for the highest approval he’s ever had, as more Americans say the U.S. is on the right track than any other time in decades. Now let me repeat that. For those of you who are, and if you’re enraged at the Trump administration, I just keep wanting to reach out to you. There’s nothing wrong with dialogue. There’s nothing wrong with debate. You don’t like the way we’re going about what? Deporting dangerous gang members? I think it was Chris DeGaulle who said, oh, that’s great, Democrats. Take the position that you’re opposed to dangerous, destructive, violent gang members being kicked out of our country. Keep going with that. Double down on that. We’ll let you. Because you’re just hurting your own brand. You’re hurting your own party. Let me repeat the New York Post headline one more time. Trump ties for highest approval he’s ever had as more Americans say the U.S. is on the right track than any time in 20 years. Let’s go through some more tabulating of headlines. Obama appointed judge orders planes deporting trendy Aragua terrorists to return to the U.S. You know, the Trump administration said, sorry, they’re already over international waters. We’re not going to turn them around. Marco Rubio announced that 23 illegals with gang ties were sent to El Salvador from the U.S. El Salvador, where we’re feeding starving children right now in our Food for the Poor campaign. How’s that for a providential campaign? How’s that for serendipity? If you’ve got $10, this is a $10 donor day on our Food for the Poor campaign. We’re well over doubling our goal. Our goal was $40,000. Last time I checked, we were like $83,000, $84,000. And all from $10 donations. And I think a lot of people want to thank El Salvador because your donation to our Food for the Poor campaign is putting food in the hungry bellies of beautiful little children in El Salvador. So thank you to the El Salvador president. Thank you to El Salvador for taking these dangerous prisoners in, in your good jails, your good prisons. And thank you for assisting us that way. You want to know how to thank them? You want to know how to thank El Salvador? It’s easy. Go to MikeOnline.com. Click on the Feed Their Future banner. It’s a blue banner. It’s easy to donate. Ten bucks. That’s all we ask. Look at all the people donating $10 right now. It’s unbelievable. I always say it’s unbelievable, but that’s the wrong thing to say. I’m sorry I repeat myself too much. Terry from Ashland City. Thomas. Oh, Thomas, listen to this. Wow. And you want to hear chills? Oh, my gosh. And I’m reading this live. I’m just now reading this live on the air. So Thomas H. made a one-time donation. It’s actually from Pat and Mary Lou, and you know who you are. And I don’t want to… Publicize your name because you’ve got a high profile. But thank you, Pat and Mary Lou. That just touches my heart. I just saw that for the first time, and I know who Pat and Mary Lou are. In fact, I get a chance, I think, to meet Pat later this week in South Carolina. And I can’t wait to thank you and shake your hand in person. Kathy, Sparta, New Jersey, $50. Michelle, $20 from Phoenix. Valerie, $25 from Hendersonville. Carmen. $20. Made a dedicated one-time donation, Mike. Excellent rendition of Danny Boy, Haters Gonna Hate. God bless you always, Carmen, Minnesota. Thank you. Yep, we only played it one time. I’m not going to get yelled at anymore from all the haters who don’t like my singing. If you want to check out our Danny Boy tradition, every year we sing Danny Boy on the Mike Gallagher Show, and it’s posted at mikeonline.com. Do we have it on the MyPillow text line, too? I think we do, don’t we? I think we’ll send it back to you if you want. But thank you. Let’s keep the $10 donations coming in or whatever amount you can afford. And a special thank you to Pat and Mary Lou. You guys just, that took me by surprise. I mean, here’s more headlines. I feel like all I have to do as a talk show host is read the headlines and then say 1-800-655-MIKE. There was a time when I was first learning how to do talk radio, decades ago in Greenville, South Carolina. You had to come up with a topic. You had to work at it. Look, I know my craft. I know how to do this job. And I know how to stimulate phone calls. Well, we don’t have to work with phone calls now. Just read the headlines. NASA’s stuck astronauts welcome replacements who arrive to the space station on the SpaceX capsule. Did you hear the astronauts? Christian, do we have the astronauts thanking President Trump and Elon Musk? Now, again, normal people, I think, see this and then they wonder why all this rage directed to Elon and Donald Trump. Check out what the astronauts who were stuck in space, they were supposed to be there for one week. They’ve been stuck up there for nine months. NASA dropped the ball. No way around that. Elon said, I’ll go get them. I’ll send up one of my rockets. He sent up one of his rockets. They’ve docked. They’re bringing them home. Listen to what the astronauts said of President Trump and Elon Musk.
SPEAKER 06 :
We’re coming back before long, so don’t make all those plans without me. We’ll be back before too long.
SPEAKER 01 :
I can tell you at the outset, all of us have the utmost respect for Mr. Musk and obviously respect and admiration for our President of the United States, Donald Trump. We appreciate them. We appreciate all that they do for us, for human spaceflight, for our nation. And we’re thankful that they’re in the positions they’re in.
SPEAKER 09 :
My gosh, do the people that are so filled with rage hear that? What do they say in their brains when they hear that? What do they say in their brains when they see NBC polling data that says more Americans think we’re on the right track than we’ve seen since 2004? In decades, we haven’t had this kind of optimism. What are these haters thinking? Look, I believe strongly in not ignoring people who don’t see the world the way I do. I don’t want to ignore you. In fact, I want to give you a platform. I want you to call me if you hate Trump, if you hate Elon Musk, if you hate what’s happening right now with the cutting out the waste, fraud, and abuse of spending, if you hate the secured borders, if you hate the deportation of illegals, if you just hate Elon… Can you call me and tell me what all this good news for Trump means to you? Because there’s nothing but good news. Nothing but good news. And I wonder how you receive that. 800-655-MIKE. Welcome in. It’s St. Patrick’s Day. We’re in the Relief Factor studios. Democrats are at an all-time low. Look, I don’t want to spike the football here, but not for nothing, not only does NBC’s polling show that more Americans than ever think the country’s headed in the right direction, CNN reports that the Democrats’ support is at an all-time low. It’s beyond bad. Now, which is it? There’s reality… And there’s La La Land. How do we get people out of La La Land? How do we get people back to a sense of normalcy? I really do believe in trying to lower the temperature. Because I don’t know about you, but I feel stressed. I’m about to just stop going on social media. It’s so bad right now. It’s so toxic. There’s so much anger and rage that it just is not good for my own mental health. Let’s dive into it together. 800-655-MIKE. And again, try to have some civility and decency. Look, I’ve said today, kudos to Chuck Schumer for voting for the continuing resolution. You might not like him, you may not agree with him, but he did it, infuriating the progressive wing of his party. You think Chuck Schumer is not a mainstream Democrat? He’s as mainstream as it gets. SPEAKER 12 :
On the 4th of July, 1806, we set sail from the sweet Cobra Park. Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 09 :
Lots of comments about our annual rendition of Danny Boy. I already did it. Did it one time. If you missed it, it’s at mikeonline.com. I think also, no one ever told me. Do we have it on the text group? What’s the keyword? If you give me a keyword, we can send it back to you if you’re interested. Just Danny? Not Danny Boy? Oh, okay. Keyword Danny. So if you text the keyword Danny to 800-655-MIKE, that can’t be right. Oh, okay. It’s not Danny Boy, just Danny. And everybody, of course, here’s the little secret about my rendition of Danny Boy. I read all the people goofing on me. making fun of my voice and the dogs are in heat and they’re screaming and my AirPods blew up and you’ve got a voice made for paperback. That was the best one. The best one was you have a face made for radio and a voice made for paperback. The humor of that took a little while for that to sink in. That was good. That’s clever. That’s very good. But the truth is, I read the haters, but I don’t read the hundred times more worth of really positive feedback and comments. So thank you very much. A lot of people are donating to our Food for the Poor campaign today. I think, I hate to say it, I don’t want to jinx it, I think we may surpass $100,000. We’re already at like over 90. We have 83 or 84,000 on the board, and we’ve got about 6,000 from a check, literally 6,000 from a Family Foundation check. When people mail checks in directly to Food for the Poor, it’s a long process. So it takes a while, but they always find it, and they’ll locate it. And then we’ll be over 90, and before you know it, we’ll be feeding a whole lot of kids thanks to your love and generosity and support. So thank you for all of that, and thanks for the kind words. It means a lot to us. Thank you for supporting this show. We’re going to get to celebrate with a summer vacation in Alaska. You want to join us in person, Larry Elder and I will be your co-hosts for the Patriots Alaska Cruise. August 14th, or August, let me get the right dates here, August 16th through the 23rd, we sail out of Seattle. We sail through the beautiful, beautiful, pristine state of Alaska. And Larry and Joe Piscopo from New York and Jen Horn from L.A. and I will entertain you on stage. It’ll be a trip you’ll never forget. And a word of advice, don’t book around us. A lot of people booked that week thinking, well, I’ll get on the Holland America’s Euro Dam and we’ll get to go to all the events. Nope, doesn’t work that way. Sorry, you’ve got to be part of our group. I’ll see you on board where patriotism, adventure, and luxury come together. the second annual Patriots Alaska cruise in August with yours truly. And my special guests go to travel with Salem.com travel with Salem.com. That’s travel with Salem.com. You know, Adam Kinzinger was one of only two Republicans handpicked by Nancy Pelosi to be on the January 6th select committee. Trump always calls it the unselect committee. And, uh, Joe Biden gave a preemptive pardon to all of the January 6th committee members. And Trump is now declaring that those pardons are null and void because they weren’t even signed by Biden. They used an auto pen. So Adam Kinzinger, who retired from his congressional seat, young guy, but he didn’t want to deal with it anymore. But he is not backing down from public life. And he’s posting stuff all the time, over and over again, attacking Trump. And here’s his response to Trump’s belief that the auto-pen pardons are now void, vacant, and of no further force or effect. Now, keep this in mind. My mantra, I want to listen to what other people are saying who disagree with me. I want to tamp down the temperature a little bit. I want to be able to reach across the aisle. But how do you reason with a guy like this?
SPEAKER 07 :
So I just saw that Trump is like threatening the January 6th committee again. Listen, this dude knows, he knows that this is like the thing that embarrasses him. He won’t admit it embarrasses him because he’s trying to like pretend like he didn’t do anything. He’s obsessed. He’s more obsessed with like me and Liz Cheney than his frickin golf score. Hey, Trump, bring it on, dude. You weak, whiny, tiny man who, by the way, I saw a picture of you this weekend. You’re hiking up your pants now to really just below your man boobs and you’re sweating so much like looking pretty, pretty bad there. But bring it, man. Like, stop with all the. Big mouth talking stuff. You’re a grown man. You don’t talk like one, but you’re a grown man.
SPEAKER 1 :
Come on, dude.
SPEAKER 07 :
Bring it.
SPEAKER 09 :
I mean, I don’t even know what to say to that other than it may not be a good idea to taunt President Trump and his Justice Department if you’re in the position that Adam Kinzinger is in. Maybe not a smart thing to do. I don’t know. I just wonder… What causes a Republican ex-Congressman to talk like that? Give me your reaction. 800-655-MIKE. I mean, I get it. You hate Trump. Okay. And then you put yourself out there and you’re somebody who was, again, handpicked for a very, very dubious committee. Very dubious committee. Why not the Jim Jordans on that committee? Why not the sharp-elbowed Trump-supporting Republicans? Well, it’s easy. The Democrats didn’t want anybody like that. They wanted the people that despise Liz Cheney. I mean, that despise Donald Trump. People like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger. And look how it worked out for both of them. They’re both out of Congress now. Their careers are ended. And I’m sure they’ll have plenty to do. I know there’s an appetite for that kind of rhetoric, but my gosh, that’s pretty brutal. And again, I mean, am I stupid for saying I’d love to sit down with that guy and say, what happened to you? Why are you so broken by this guy? You disagree with him? Okay, you’re a Republican. What happened? Justin’s in Colorado. Justin, you’re on the Mike Gallagher Show. Hello. Did you hear those comments from Adam Kinzinger? Justin, you there? I did. Yeah, go right ahead.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 09 :
Go ahead, sir.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, I heard them. I think he feels free to say that because of the pardon. However, if Trump is able to vacate those pardons, he’ll probably shut up.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s what I mean. Just unsolicited advice. If that pardon that Biden gave you, which is so bizarre, after Biden promised he’d never pardon his son and then the last day of his presidency he did, is that okay with Democrats? And then a preemptive pardon for the January 6th? Why? And if the courts… Eventually, if it gets up to the Supreme Court and it’s determined that Trump is right, that the auto pen pardons are void, vacant, and of no further force or effect, why would you taunt Trump and Pam Bondi? Why would you taunt the Justice Department? That could be a big mistake. Maybe not. Look, maybe you see him as a truth teller and he’s strong and he’s standing tall for what he believes in. But it may not turn out the way he wants it to turn out. And maybe you think twice. But again, that’s what the other caller said. Blind hatred. Blind rage. My friend Mark Davis puts it best. Says it all the time. Trump derangement syndrome causes nice people to turn mean and causes smart people to be dumb. I think he’s a good example of that. Thanks for joining us on this St. Paddy’s Day. We’ll do it again tomorrow. Have a great day. Be safe. Keep fighting the good fight. I’m Mike Gallagher. God bless America.
