He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 08 :
It was about 50-50 that I’d wind up here today. I’m playing hurt, but that’s okay. Because I’d rather be in front of a camera and a microphone doing this show than staying home sick in bed. Just a word to the wise… A shingle shot, ooh, it can be rough, and I have felt it all. Up all night, chills, it’s been a rough 24 hours or so. But look, when this news broke of James Comey actually advocating for the assassination of Donald Trump, I knew I couldn’t stay home. I had to be here. So bear with me. Be patient. I was a little cranky yesterday as well, but now I’m just kind of in the tail end of it, I think. So I’m going to get through the show, then crawl back into bed. Get ready for the weekend. And it’s weird. The doctor warned me, look, you could very well. Sometimes I think I’m psychosomatic because I am a hypochondriac. So when the doctor tells me, well, now you might feel a lot of flu symptoms after the shingles shot. It’s like, don’t tell me that. Tell me it’s going to go perfectly. And then I’ll probably convince myself that everything’s going to be great. Ha, ha, ha. So here we are, playing hurt, but that’s all right. Again, I’d much rather be here with you over a big bombshell story like James Comey. Look, first of all, there’s no debate that he was calling for the assassination of Donald Trump. Don’t give me the crap. Spare me the nonsense. Oh, 86 doesn’t mean assassinate. Oh, yeah, what does it mean? You’re going to politely ask Trump to be removed from the Oval Office? Of course that’s what it means. 86 somebody, you kill him. Comey knew what he was doing. This is not a new call for assassination. A lot of the lunatics and the whack jobs on the left have been doing 86-47 for a while. Now, if you haven’t heard the news yet, if you don’t know what the story is about, James Comey takes a bunch of shells, a picture of shells that’s spelled out 8647 on the beach and posted it and said, huh, well, look at that. Look at what I saw here. And, of course, now the proverbial news. Sealing has come crashing down on him. He’s deleted his entire Instagram account. The Secret Service is investigating. Here was Tulsi Gabbard explaining last night why James Comey needs to go to jail for threatening the President of the United States.
SPEAKER 02 :
according to the law, which is something that he claims to have given his life for and stands by the rule of law. Fantastic. The rule of law says people like him who issue direct threats against the president of the United States, essentially issuing a call to assassinate him, must be held accountable under the law. Any other person with the position of influence that he has, people who take very seriously what a guy of his stature, his experience, and what the propaganda media has built him up to be, I’m very concerned for the president’s life. We’ve already seen assassination attempts. I’m very concerned for his life. And James Comey, in my view, should be held accountable and put behind bars for this.
SPEAKER 08 :
If he’s not, we have a massive problem on our hands. If he is not held accountable for his now infamous post featuring seashells arranged to form the numbers 86-47, if this man doesn’t wind up in handcuffs, you understand how bad it’s going to get. It’s just going to get worse and worse and worse. They tried to kill Trump at least twice. Iran tried to assassinate him. We are fortunate that this man is alive today. And I don’t have enough ways to describe the odiousness, the garbage, the classlessness, the tackiness. And I think the criminal behavior of the former FBI director. I mean, Rachel just sent a note on the MyPillow text line from Indiana. This guy was the director of the FBI. Let that sink in. This is not some wine mom on MSNBC ranting and raving. This was the former FBI director who hates Trump so much. that he’s willing to post a picture that says, kill Trump, essentially, on his Instagram feed. Grown man. Grown man. I loved a comment that I, there’s so much good stuff that has been written about it, but there’s a site I follow on, an account I follow on X, Geiger Capital. Geiger Capital wrote, it’s radicalizing to realize that the men who are supposed to be our most serious and professional operatives are actually just unhinged lunatics, no different than MSNBC wine moms. That’s where I got the wine moms phrase from. My gosh. Anyhow, 1-800-655-MIKE. I want you to join us. I’m here for you. Instead of being home in bed moaning and going to the light and having the candles lit by my bed, I’m here. And I’m sure I’ll feel better eventually. I believe by August I’ll feel better. My gosh. How long are you sick from the shingle shot? I hope it’s just a day or two. I do feel a little bit better than I did in the middle of the night. What a rough patch we’ve had. But here we are. So the least you can do is call me and keep me company. Okay? Don’t make me work too hard. 800-655-MIKE. 800-655-6453. If James Comey is not arrested and formally charged, well, Houston, we’re going to have a big-time problem on our hands. And we’ve got to deal with that. And we shall, here on the Mike Gallagher Show. Brought to you in part by M. Dean Owen CPA. I am just mad that I didn’t find Dean Owen. I think the absolute best CPA… in America years ago. SPEAKER 08 :
President Trump himself has reacted to the James Comey video with Brett Baier on Fox News. That clip has been released. We’ll play it for you here in a couple of moments. First of all, though, to your phone calls, to your text messages. Here’s Pennsylvania. Mike, Comey’s arrest today will settle the case for those of us who are screaming for justice. We want to believe Donald Trump’s DOJ is for real. This would help immensely. That’s so true. If there’s not accountability for this, if James Comey doesn’t face a reckoning, first of all, we’re really in a lot of trouble because this is going to get worse and worse. There’ll be more threats, more assassination attempts. There’ll be more violence. Which is, I guess, what they want. I guess that’s what they, and we have to just accept that. We have to recognize this is what they want. They want Trump killed. And they’ll be happy if, God forbid, that happens. They will be happy. And then we’ll have to deal with those toxic demons. Because that’s demonic. What James Comey did is demonic. I don’t care if he doesn’t like Donald Trump. I don’t care how disgraceful James Comey was as the FBI director and all the crap he did with Hillary and Trump and the friendly interviews that turned out to be, you know, blindsiding people like Michael Flynn. He’s a really… rotten guy. I mean, everybody knows that. We all know that. But look, you don’t like the guy, you don’t like the guy. You can’t post a picture on your Instagram account as the former FBI director that says, kill Trump. 86-47. You can’t do that. And if you do, you’ve got to pay the piper. You’ve got to go to jail. You’ve got to be arrested. You’ve got to be processed. You’ve got to atone for this. You’ve got to account for this. And you certainly have to apologize. He didn’t apologize, incidentally. His taking down the post said, I didn’t realize that there are some people who felt that 86 meant kill. I just thought it was maybe a political message. So I took it down. Oh, yeah? If it wasn’t what we all know it to be, why’d you take it down? Also, a couple of great text messages. One from Arkansas. Mike, I absolutely love your show, and I love to hear you talk about everything you think you are dying from. It makes me laugh. I’m glad my misery amuses you. I’m so glad. And then this is one from Florida, which does get me thinking. Mike, please stop taking those toxic vaccines. Now, we could have a whole show probably on shingles vaccines. But I have to tell you, Florida, you got me thinking. Why would a vaccine make me this sick? Should a vaccine make you this miserable? And, you know, the doctor told me, oh, it’s very normal. Oh, yeah, your arm’s going to feel like it’s going to fall off, and you’re sick, and you’ve got chills. You should have seen me last night in bed. I’m laying there at 4 in the morning thinking, I can’t believe how bad this is. I’m sweating. I’ve got chills. I’ve got the shakes. I mean, it was like a horror movie for a shingles shot. So, Florida, you make a good point. All right, let’s dive in. Perry, Granbury, Texas, 23 past the hour. Let’s see what you think about what should happen to James Comey. Again, there’s no debate about what the message was. The message was clear. He posted a rallying cry to assassinate President Trump. Perry, thanks for holding. How are you?
SPEAKER 04 :
How you doing, Mike? Good. What’s up? Good deal. Good deal. Listen, listen. This thing with Comey, it’s a test to see what the backbone is, right? If they ain’t got any backbone, you’ll see it here shortly.
SPEAKER 08 :
Amen. We’re going to find out, Perry. You’re so right. We’re going to see if they have the guts, if they have the spine to stand up. Charles in Clearwater, Florida. Charles, how are you?
SPEAKER 03 :
Doing good. Good. He is just teasing us That saying he’s above the law and he should be held accountable and you should do it like they did to Trump. Take away his livelihood. We should he should he he should be disbarred because he’s an attorney because, you know, the hypocritical and to you should take away his pension.
SPEAKER 08 :
And hurt him in the pocketbook. Well, there’s a lot of things that can be done to him, but at the very least, he has to have legal accountability. If you or I did something like that, if I posted kill Joe Biden on my Instagram or X or Facebook, I’d be in a lot of trouble. Probably lose my job. Probably get arrested. I’d probably maybe face some jail time. Again, smart person, Tulsi Gabbard. She sat down with Jesse Waters last night, and this interview has really, really gone viral all over the world. Listen to what Tulsi Gabbard said about this 86-47 post from James Comey, the former director of the FBI.
SPEAKER 02 :
Comey himself admitted in his follow-on message that he knew that this was a political statement. Well, the only reason he knew that, Jesse, was because a little over a month ago, a bunch of anti-Trump, anti-Elon Musk protesters were proliferating the use of this 86-47 slogan, which was a veiled call to action to murder the sitting president of the United States. So for Comey to think that we, the American people, are so stupid as to think that he, as a former FBI director, former prosecutor, and someone who clearly pays attention to what’s going on, would believe his lie that he didn’t know what this actually was calling for? The dangerousness of this, Jesse, cannot be underestimated. When we have two assassination attempts on the president’s life, when we have people who look to guys like Comey, who’ve been celebrated by MSNBC and the Democrat elite and CNN as the beacon of integrity, the law and order guy, the guy who would tell the truth no matter what the consequences. This is the guy who’s issuing a hit on President Trump, the president that the American people voted for. So it’s guys like Comey and others who call the president the modern day Nazi, people who are in great positions of influence, who are saying that President Trump poses an existential threat to our country. These are people who hate democracy and hate the American people because they cannot stand that the people overwhelmingly chose to elect Donald Trump and send him back to the White House. So they are seeking other means to get their way and to try to remove him from that position.
SPEAKER 08 :
Real important conversation with Jesse Waters and Tulsi Gabbard last night, and I absolutely wanted to make sure we shared that. Bottom line is, look, at the end, there better be a reckoning for James Comey. If you’re this stupid, if you’re this childish, if you’re this infantile, and you’re this dangerous, what will happen if some lunatic… does what the lunatic in Butler, Pennsylvania tried to do and succeeds. Is James Comey going to take responsibility for the assassination of the 47th president of the United States? See, this isn’t politics. This is not. This is not policy. This is decency. This is right and wrong. This is not acceptable. Incidentally, a couple great texts about this. Last word on the shingles shot. And Texas, you are right. Mike, getting shingles is much worse than the side effects from the shot. I’ll agree because I got it. You’re right. I had shingles too once on my leg. It was awful. And Pennsylvania, I’ve had the shingles before. It was misery for weeks. A single vaccine is better than getting shingles again. Amen? Amen. I agree with that. Just so don’t get discouraged. Because I’m a big, fat baby. Well, I’m not so fat anymore thanks to Ph.D. weight loss, but I’m a big baby. I know it. I’m a big baby. I am kind of soft. I don’t do sickness well. I don’t do pain well. And I don’t suffer in silence. But I try. Don’t forget the MyPillow offer. My gosh, these Giza Dream Sheets, $49.98. Any size, any color, for a limited time. When they’re gone, they’re gone. MyPillow.com. Look for the Mike Gallagher Special Square. Mike Lindell’s giving you a crazy offer on these Giza Dream Sheets. Most amazing sheets ever. MyPillow.com. Promo code MikeG or call 800-928-6034. Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 10 :
The Mike Gallagher Show in the ReliefFactor.com studios.
SPEAKER 12 :
If this bill passes, you’re going to get a 50 to 90 percent reduction in prescription drugs and pharmaceuticals. When you add that in, how does a Democrat not vote? I don’t think they can win an election if they don’t vote for it. But even if you don’t include it. I think that the Republicans are very unified, and something would happen where they will get this vote.
SPEAKER 10 :
On Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 08 :
So glad you’re here today, and I’m glad to be here, all kidding aside. I would much rather be with you, especially when I don’t feel real hot. I was almost going to stay in bed. We had Carl Jackson, I think, teed up. I think we did. Was Carl ready or not? I’m not sure if Carl was… Yes and no. Okay. And Joey wasn’t available. There wasn’t really a lot of guest host options, apparently, for today. And then when the Comey thing broke last night, I thought, I can’t miss that. You know, when you’re a talk show host, you just don’t want to miss the big stories. And… And incidentally, this whole garbage, oh, it’s a restaurant phrase. 86 means you’re removing an item from the menu. Yeah, nice try. I saw a clip last night over on Newsmax, I think it was, of about five minutes worth of 86 meaning assassinate. 86 means to eliminate, eradicate, kill, destroy. Murder. James Comey knew what he was doing. Spare me the pearl clutching that it was only a restaurant term. That isn’t even a debate, okay? I’m not going to waste anybody’s time even debating whether or not it meant kill Trump. Of course it meant kill Trump. So ultimately, what’s going to happen? What are they going to do about it? President Trump himself reacted to this firestorm of James Comey posting, Oh, I’m on the beach and look at what I came across. Shells that spelled out 8647. Kill Donald Trump. Oh, look at that. And then, of course, the maelstrom of controversy emerged. And he took down the post. Evidently, Jim Hoff over at Gateway Pundit is reporting that Comey deleted his entire Instagram account. Can you check that, Tracy, and confirm that? Not that I don’t trust Gateway Pundit, but that’s the only place I saw that a few minutes ago, and I wonder if it’s true. Because this guy has had a lot of followers on Instagram. He’s like a teenager. He’s like a little kid. Grown man posting pictures of shells that spell out 8647. Here was President Trump’s reaction. This is for an interview that he gave to Bret Baier, which is going to air tonight on Fox News. But his reaction to this…
SPEAKER 13 :
diabolical nefarious action by james comey has already gotten out this clip has now been released to the public here’s what president trump said he knew exactly what that meant a child knows what that meant if you’re the fbi director and you don’t know what that meant that meant assassination And it says it loud and clear. Now, he wasn’t very competent, but he was competent enough to know what that meant. And he did it for a reason. And he was hit so hard because people like me and they like what’s happening with our country. Our country has become respected again and all this. And he’s calling for the assassination of the president. Obviously, he apologized and said he wasn’t calling for violence.
SPEAKER 05 :
What do you want to see happen?
SPEAKER 13 :
I don’t want to take a position on it because that’s going to be up to Pam and all of the great people. But I will say this. I think it’s a terrible thing. And when you add his history to that. If he had a clean history, he doesn’t. He’s a dirty cop. He’s a dirty cop. And if he had a clean history, I could understand if there was a leniency. But I’m going to let them make that decision.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, I hope they do make the decision to arrest him. How about you Roger Stone him? Go bashing on the door in the middle of the night, it’s five in the morning, and make him stand out in front of his house in his underwear. Heck, do what they did to Trump and his wife at Mar-a-Lago. Go swooping in on Comey’s house and go through his wife’s underwear drawer. Give him the same treatment they’ve given Donald Trump. Of course, Trump… knows that Comey knew exactly what he was doing. And, you know, back to the point that Trump made to Bret Baier, that people like me, this is the part that the Trump haters never acknowledge. It’s a little bit, you know, it’s opinion, it’s your preference, it’s taste, it’s your politics, it’s your ideology. But you do realize if you don’t like this guy, if you’re not a Trump supporter, And you have every right not to be a Trump supporter. But you do realize there are millions and millions of people who are. That’s what’s so fascinating to me. And there’s not a right or a wrong. I’m not going to tell you you’re wrong if you don’t like the guy. But you can’t tell me I’m wrong for voting for him three times. You can’t tell me I’m wrong for appreciating a sealed border, a secure border. Progress in the Middle East. A improving economy. Law and order. An absolute common sense revolution. Here’s Harry Enten. Here’s the numbers guy. He’s like Scott Jennings. How these guys get to keep their jobs over there at a place like CNN, I’ll never know. But here he was with some data that Trump haters don’t want to hear, they don’t want to acknowledge, but is apparently very real.
SPEAKER 06 :
I think it’s time for a bit of a reality check, right? We were going to late April. Donald Trump’s approval rating, his net approval seemed to be falling. He seemed to be adios amigos. People were writing his political obituary. He is rising from the dead. Look at this. Hello. Trump’s net approval rating among voters. This is the Reuters Ipsos polling. Look at this. In late April, he was eight points underwater. But look at where he was in the most recent poll among voters. He’s up seven points to a minus one point net favorability rating. This is not the picture I think a lot of people were thinking that we would be painting in late April. I think a lot of people expected his approval rate to keep dropping, but at least according to Reuters, it’s in fact rising. Put this then in a larger perspective, Harry. Yeah, OK. So, you know, this is just one poll, right? But let’s take a look across an aggregate of polls. What are we seeing here? And I want to compare both to where Donald Trump is now versus where he was in late April, as well as where he was at this point in term number one. What you see is at minus six points, he is a little bit worse off than he is in the Ipsos Reuters polling. But he is considerably better than he was in late April when he was nine points underwater. And more than that, look at this. He’s nearly 10 points better than he was back in April. May 16th of 2017 in his first term. So we see as Donald Trump’s not just doing better than he was doing in late April of 2025. He’s doing considerably better than he was doing at this point in term number one, about 10 points better than he was doing at this point.
SPEAKER 07 :
You know, in a vacuum, minus six isn’t good. But in Trumpian terms, you know, against himself, it’s actually a pretty good position for him to be in politically compared to himself. Exactly right. This is considerably higher than he has traditionally been. So the big question here is why, Harry? Why, you know, why did it bottom out? Why might it be rising?
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay, why? Well, take a look at the chance of a recession. It’s actually falling. The chance of a recession is falling. In late April, it was 60%, according to J.P. Morgan. Look at where it is now. It’s less than 50%. How about Goldman Sachs? You see the same thing, 45% now falling to 35%. The bottom line is it is the economy, the economy, the economy. As the chance of a recession has fallen, as the trade wars have kind of collapsed a little bit, at least with China, Trump trying to make a deal, we do see that I do think that the voters are responding to this, and therefore we’re seeing Trump’s approval rating going up.
SPEAKER 08 :
You know what I love about that clip is when John Berman, the anchor, says, Boy, Trump’s approval ratings are increasing. They’re improving. Why? Why is this? You don’t have to be a Rhodes Scholar to say, because people like what he’s doing. Because people are excited about an improving economy. You know, Harry Enten talks about the chances of a recession declining. You don’t need to go… People like what the guy is accomplishing. Yesterday in Axios, the big article about Biden administration officials giving Trump… a reluctant kudos for what he’s accomplishing in the Middle East. Gary’s in Minneapolis, 17 before the hour. Our number is 800-655-MIKE. Again, a little under the weather today. Kind of getting through the other side of the stupid shingles shot and feeling crappy, but we’re going to get through it. I’m glad I’m here. I’m glad you’re with me. And I can’t think of any place I’d rather be than here. But make sure you call me because I need your help today. Don’t make me do it alone. More calls, the better. A lot of first-time callers. If you’ve always thought about calling the show, make today your day. Step up to the plate. 800-655-MIKE. 800-655-6453. Gary in Minneapolis. Hi, Gary. Hi. Hey.
SPEAKER 05 :
On the call me thing, Mike, I think he’s going to be able to squeak out of it because, you know, it has different meanings. And he’s going to say, oh, I only meant it to mean that he should be, you know, not killed but just removed from office. How would he be removed from office, Gary?
SPEAKER 08 :
What does that mean?
SPEAKER 05 :
They’re impeached or something like that. There’s no effort.
SPEAKER 08 :
They just tried that again. There’s no effort to impeach him. You’ve got the goofy guy with the bad toupee, and nobody’s paying attention to him. But this wasn’t about removing Trump from office. This is about assassinating Donald Trump. I’m not disagreeing with that.
SPEAKER 05 :
I’m just saying he’s going to squeak out of it by claiming he meant this rather than that.
SPEAKER 08 :
I’m not sure he’ll get away with it, Gary. Because you know what? There’s a new sheriff in town. You got people like Kash Patel and Pam Bondi and Curran at the Secret Service. It’s a different environment now. And look, I’ll say it again. They better hold him accountable because it’s only going to get worse. And the worst, the most frightening, terrifying… ghastly reality is, somebody will do it. Somebody will kill him. And then we’re going to look back and say, why didn’t they hold somebody like James Comey accountable for his disgraceful, despicable actions? Horrific act. They better hold him accountable. This guy needs to go to jail. Because when they slap handcuffs on him and they perp walk him and they take him to jail, then any lunatic who is thinking about harming a hair on Trump’s head might just think twice and not do it. It’s got to be done. Tell me if you think I’m wrong or not. 800-655-MIKE. Join us. You tried counting sheep, warm glasses of milk, even those weird meditation apps, right? SPEAKER 08 :
I don’t want people to get discouraged from getting the shingles shot if their doctor thinks they should get it. But I’m going to just tell you, it ain’t easy. It is a tough shot.
SPEAKER 11 :
I did it. Got nothing.
SPEAKER 08 :
You didn’t have any reaction? What about Lisa? Not one. Isn’t that interesting? And I’ve had a lot of people who’ve called and texted. Yeah, everybody’s different, but it’s a pretty common side effect, I think. I mean, I was up all night. I had shivers and chills and sweats, and it’s bad. It’s been really bad. And then I was 50-50 today, and I thought, how can I not go to work after James Comey? I know. Advocates for the assassination of the president. You know, let’s just dive right into this, because you had a caller a minute ago who, you know, the common theme now is, well, they won’t do anything about it. It’s James Comey. They won’t do anything about it.
SPEAKER 11 :
We’ve been used to this forever.
SPEAKER 08 :
That’s right, because they never have any accountability. Too powerful. Here’s the headline. I mean, the U.S. Secret Service is investigating. There is an investigation that is now underway. I mean, first of all, there’s no debate. There’s no argument about what he meant to say. 8647 is, you know, an, oh, look at this. I came upon a shell.
SPEAKER 11 :
What does this mean? The fact that he took a picture of it and posted it ostensibly contradicts. not knowing what it meant. Why would you post it if you didn’t know what it meant?
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, why would you take it down if it was okay? And not only did he take the picture down, did you hear he has just deleted his entire Instagram account? Disgraced FBI Director James Comey has deleted his entire Instagram account after the firestorm erupted over the cryptic post that many believe was a blatant call to assassinate President Donald J. Trump. So here’s what has to happen. And by the way, there have just been some great, great commentary written about it. I like this comment from Geiger Capital I want to share with you. This was really good. It’s radicalizing to realize that the men who are supposed to be our most serious and professional operatives are actually just unhinged political lunatics no different than MSNBC wine moms. Isn’t that a great line?
SPEAKER 11 :
What a glorious point. But it’s true. Look what they’ve been reduced to. But you know what? Comey, I don’t think he’s gone full Democrat. I think he’s probably still a semi-pseudo-Republican, but just hates Trump’s guts. But everybody on that side, look at how unserious. This drops right into all the news. Trump goes on an amazing trip to the Middle East, and there are people who are bagging on it. We have all kinds of things going on. Amazing Trump 2.0 agenda, which you can agree or disagree with. That’s fine. Not everybody is monolithic in the country. But the Democrats are reduced to Trump hatred, singing these stupid songs, violence at ICE facilities. They are unhinged toddlers. They’ve been reduced to this.
SPEAKER 08 :
Look at James Comey walking along the beach like a teenage girl saying, let me take a picture of shells that spell this out, and I’ll post it like an excited little schoolgirl. I mean, this is exactly what they’ve been reduced to. And look, Mark, there better be accountability on this. Here’s the problem, because now we’re at a real weird place here. This is a crossroads. Mm-hmm. If we know the Secret Service is investigating, and we know that Pam Bondi and Kash Patel and Curran, the director of the Secret Service, are investigating all of this, and nothing happens, do you realize how worse it’s going to get? Because nobody’s going to feel there’s any consequence for advocating for the assassination of the president. So if they don’t do anything about it, Mark, we’re going to have a massive problem on our hands. I mean, we already do to some extent, of course. As Carol Markowitz wrote, and I interviewed her a few months ago, she had a piece in the New York Post back in April. Democrats have lit the assassination culture fuse. Now their silence equals violence. I mean, how much longer are Democrats going to accept their supporters escalating calls for violence? And this shouldn’t be part of our conversation. And incidentally, it’s horrific to know that Trump is in a foreign country when this threat was posted by James Cope. I know. That’s what’s crazy. I mean, I’ve been praying for him on this trip over there. Did you see that they brought him over some kind of cup of liquid and he wouldn’t drink it?
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, okay. We’ve learned a little something. I mean, the Middle East is fascinating. It is filled with so many cultures that are so incredible and so historic. And so a couple of images for me. First, so Lisa and I are sitting here watching some of the Trump stuff. Have you ever done Egypt or Qatar? I haven’t either. No. I really want to, just to see that part of the world. Obviously, we belong to Israel, but I would love to do that world as well. So we’re watching Trump walking a gauntlet of guys, all wearing the stuff that’s like straight from the costume department of Lawrence of Arabia. The head thing, the thing, the flowing robes. I don’t think it’s called a head thing, Mark. I know, I’m sorry. I don’t want to mess up. I’m sure there’s a technical term. A braided thing, I don’t know. And Lisa looks at me and says… What are they dressed like that for? And I said, that’s what they do. I’m sure there might be folks sitting around watching TV in Doha, watching Trump walk down there in a suit saying, why is he dressed like that? You know, everything’s relative, isn’t it? So I don’t really know. I’m fascinated by it. But I will tell you this. If you’ve seen him walking the gauntlet, I think this was in the UAE, the ladies with the long hair. The long waist length black hair. And they’re just doing it. They’re swinging their heads around. So their hair kind of swings like a helicopter blade. I didn’t quite know what it was for a couple of seconds. It was kind of beautiful in a way. Kind of weird in a way. And I’m kind of fascinated.
SPEAKER 08 :
You’re capturing the cultural differences we have to acknowledge. And look, it was reported that 700 more people were killed in Gaza last night. And Piers Morgan posted it and said, Netanyahu is out of control. This has got to stop.
SPEAKER 11 :
This is horrific. Piers is one of those guys, man.
SPEAKER 08 :
And he’s so right in so many ways and then such a big dummy. But here’s the problem. Here’s what’s hard to wrap your brain around. What’s happening in Gaza is horrific thanks to Hamas. They’re responsible. They’re not returning the hostages. I got an idea. Surrender and return the hostages. But they won’t do that. But here’s what we have to acknowledge. Everybody in Gaza wants us dead, Mark. All these people who are going through such hell right now, they want Israel and the United States off the map. And that’s what’s so difficult. Look, Trump’s theme in the Middle East, I’ve been reading a lot of analysis about the extraordinary visit. It’s been 20-plus years since a U.S. president went to the United Arab Emirates. And his delivery was this. Look, be on our side, don’t mess with us, and I don’t care what you do in your country. That really was his message. And that’s the revolution of common sense that we’ve been craving. We can’t make them be like us. We can’t make them like us. We can’t make them, you know, just leave us alone. Don’t kill us. Don’t kill us. Be on our side. And then do whatever it is you do in your country. That was Trump’s message. And they loved it. Did you see they lit up the biggest building in the world?
SPEAKER 11 :
The Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world. It kind of rises to a point. And there was a big stylized American flag draped down its entire face. Oh, my gosh.
SPEAKER 08 :
Wow. And Lee Greenwood went over there. I think everybody went over there. Hannity went over there. And a whole bunch of people went over on the plane. And Lee Greenwood was singing God Bless the USA twice.
SPEAKER 11 :
Did they bust out? Speaking of that garb, that wonderful Lawrence of Arabia garb, this has got to be a meme. This didn’t happen, did it? Like 50 guys dressed like that busting out doing YMCA. That can’t be real.
SPEAKER 08 :
It was real. In fact, Trump was really impressed by it and grateful. I think it was real. Look, at this point, I don’t know what’s real or what’s fake anymore with AI.
SPEAKER 11 :
And I never thought I’d get a quote. The quote of the week is, I’ve never seen camels like this before.
