SPEAKER 11 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide. And seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 13 :
There’s a lot of breaking news today. President Trump is on Capitol Hill urging Republicans to unify behind his big, beautiful bill. There’s also some buzz right now about MAGA world being frustrated at the lack of action by the Justice Department. Notably, the failure to charge the disgraced former FBI director, James Comey, with any charges in threatening the life of President Trump. There he is on MSNBC taking a victory lap. I didn’t do anything wrong. I just took a walk on the beach with my wife, and my wife said, Oh, look, honey, look at the shells. Spells out 86-47. Comey actually said with a straight face on MSNBC yesterday. I didn’t think there was anything controversial about that. I thought it was a clever political statement, because there’s nothing controversial about 86ing MSNBC. the president who survived at least three assassination attempts. Two here in the United States and one from Iran. But nothing controversial. No, no, no, no. I was just being clever. I was just being cute. I thought it would be good for my Insta. And so a lot of us are left wondering, is this Justice Department going to do anything? And almost perfect timing, Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, a Democrat from New Jersey, is going to face criminal charges for allegedly assaulting ICE agents at that New Jersey protest. Acting New Jersey U.S. Attorney Alina Haba announced yesterday, my office has charged Congresswoman McIver with violation of Title 18 United States Code Section 111A1 for assaulting, impeding, and interfering with law enforcement. So how do you see Trump’s Justice Department? Is the disappointment you feel over Comey Pervasive? Or do you recognize… I mean, look. Imagine the audacity of the government charging a congresswoman with a crime. Breaking into an ICE facility, hitting federal officers, and expecting no consequences. Well, that’s the Democrats. They don’t want any accountability for anything. Last night on CNN… Scott Jennings mixed it up with the panel over the charges against this Democrat congresswoman, LaMonica McIver. Here’s what Scott said about those criminal charges being filed.
SPEAKER 07 :
On Representative McIver, I’ll skip to the second part, which is the most salient one. Everyone responsible for this illegitimate abuse of power is going to be held accountable for their actions. An attack on one of us is an attack on the American people. House Democrats will respond vigorously in the days to come at a time, place and manner of our choosing.
SPEAKER 15 :
What kind of a threat is that? What are they going to do? I don’t know what that means. He keeps saying it’s a red line. I don’t even know what they can do here because of the video. The problem is they have a video of it. They have a video of it. And it doesn’t look great. And if you if the argument is we’re here to conduct legitimate oversight, is that what oversight looks like? Pushing and shoving and elbowing and causing a riot at a federal facility?
SPEAKER 06 :
Is that what you’re saying is incorrect? And I think the video will play itself out. We see the entire video when a case comes and people look at the video, they’ll see what happened.
SPEAKER 13 :
Going back and forth with Julie Roginski on that panel about, you know, responding to video showing the congresswoman pushing and shoving ICE officials.
SPEAKER 03 :
These kinds of charging cases are not made by Alina Haba or any United States attorney in the District of New Jersey. If you’re indicting an elected official, especially a federal official, it is made in Maine justice, always. Pam Bondi is the Attorney General of the United States. It was ultimately her decision. Pam Bondi was the lobbyist for the GEO Group, which owns Delaney Hall, which has a $1.2 billion with a B contract at Delaney Hall. And of course, that’s the ICE facility that they were at. probably does not want her former client being impeded from having members of Congress performing their oversight responsibilities. So this thing is rotten from start to finish. This attorney general should never have been involved in charging anybody for a former client that benefits a former client. and they should have allowed… How does it benefit the client? How does it benefit the client? Because if Mayor Baraka does not give them a certificate of occupancy, and if these members of Congress… But what does that have to do with a clear video of someone assaulting a police officer? Was that clear? Yeah, pretty clear.
SPEAKER 15 :
It’s not a cheap fake, I can assure you of that.
SPEAKER 03 :
Let me tell you something. If you took off your MAGA gavel glasses and looked at it… It’s not a cheap fake.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s a real video. It’s not the whole video either.
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s not the whole video either.
SPEAKER 13 :
How much video do you need to show a congresswoman assaulting law enforcement? It’s not in context. What was she doing? Defending herself? Everybody saw the video. She’s laying hands on federal law enforcement. And now she’s going to find out what happens when you futz around. You futz around, you find out. Again, imagine breaking into an ICE facility… hitting a federal officer, and, oh, well, you can’t charge me. It’s oversight. I have to admit, I’m having a delightful time watching the Democrats squeal over a congresswoman being charged for assaulting ICE officers. I love, oh, what’s his name, Hakeem Jeffries. Oh, you better not do it. You better not cross the red line. Scott Jennings is right. What are you going to do? You going to hold your breath? You’re going to pout? You’re going to go on a hunger strike? You futz around, you’re going to find out. So I do have to point out that as frustrating as it is that this disgraced Comey was not charged, here’s a U.S. Congresswoman, a sitting U.S. Congresswoman, who’s facing years in prison. Look, I think the prison sentence is five to ten years for assaulting federal law enforcement. You can’t do it. Maybe her mistake was wearing a bright red jacket so that she could be easily identified in throwing hands, laying hands on law enforcement. 800-655-MIKE. Welcome in. It’s Tuesday. We’re back in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We had another lunch yesterday with a group of listeners. Another one scheduled for today. I had such a delightful time with my buddy Mark Davis. More on that in just a moment. And thank you for helping us kick off our Prison Fellowship Angel Tree Camp campaign. A little slow today. I got to… See if you’ll pick up the pace a little bit and send boys and girls to Christian summer camps. More on that in a moment. But first, to your calls. 800-655-MIKE. Welcome in. Are you disappointed in Trump’s Justice Department? Do you think they could be doing more? Are you glad that Alina Haba, at least, has charged Representative McIver? Let’s get your take on all of it. Text or call. However you get here, get here. 800-655-MIKE. Let’s show this great American company how much we have their back. MyPillow.com, promo code MikeG. Order pillows. These percale sheets are unbelievable. They’re so smooth and silky and soft.
SPEAKER 1 :

Click on that box, and then with anything you order, enter the promo code MikeG, or just pick up the phone to place your order.
SPEAKER 16 :
While I was walking down the beach one bright and sunny day, I saw a great big wooden box a-floating in the bay. I pulled it in and opened it up and much to my surprise, ooh, I discovered a… Right before my eyes, oh, I discovered a… Right before my eyes, I picked it up and ran to town as happy as a king. This is for you, Mac. I took it to a guy I knew who’d buy most anything. Eric found it. But this is what he hollered at me as I walked in his shop. Oh, get out of here with that… Got a nice little beat to it.
SPEAKER 13 :
I’ve never heard it before. I’ve got a pretty good musical knowledge, but not that one. It’s a little bit before my time, but, Matt, that goes out to you. And great job, Eric, tracking that. Where did you find that? What is that from? a guy named Phil Harris, the great Phil Harris. Remember Phil? Well, I’m a big Phil Harris fan. I am so lucky to get to talk to people like Mac in Minnesota. Every time I’m in a grumpy mood, I remind myself of how truly blessed I am. I had lunch yesterday with about eight listeners here in Dallas-Fort Worth, people that donated to our campaign to help children. And we’re going to have another lunch today. This group of people yesterday was so fun and smart and kind and gracious. One of them was upset that I picked up the tab for the lunch. They donated $1,000 to have lunch with Mark Davis and Mike Gallagher here in Dallas. And I hopped on a plane Sunday to come here for not one but two lunches. Because we get creative when we’re trying to bless children’s lives. And these people were… Maybe it’s the nature of the donor. I don’t know. I think it’s just the nature of this audience. You bless us every day. And I know that our whole team, Eric and Christian and Tracy and Teresa and Joey and Robert and Roger, we all are mindful… of how giving and loving and generous you are. I go to the upstate of South Carolina frequently, and I hang out with people that are just wonderful people. And this is our second day of the Angel Tree campaign. When I remind you that doing some good in the world is a way to thwart evil, because there is a lot of evil around us, Look, to threaten the president’s life is an act of evil. To brag about it on MSNBC, that’s really dark, dark, almost demonic stuff. But there is so much goodness in the world, whether it’s a joking, wonderful call from Mac in Minnesota or having lunch with people that appreciate what we do. And I need your help, because look, I’m going to be blunt here. I’m worried because last hour, we didn’t get a single child sponsored. Not one. And I think we can, I’ll bet we can get to maybe 50 kids. If you look at the counter, if you go to Mike on, and let me just tell you what the message is. Let me tell you what the ministry is. Prison Fellowship ministers to the children of people who are in prison. Do you know how hard that child’s life is right now? They’ve got a mom or dad or maybe a mom and dad behind bars. They might be living with their aunt or their uncle or their grandparents. Now, Angel Tree Camp season opens in a few days on May the 23rd. You’re able to sponsor a child and send a child of an American prisoner to a summer camp where they’re going to enjoy fresh air, fun, horseback riding, swimming, camping, canoeing, and gospel-centered activities. You see, they’re going to learn the gospel. They’re going to learn about God. And for just $200, you can change a child’s life forever. Now look, I’m going to be very blunt here. Didn’t get one donation in the last hour. If you look right now at our counter, we have a goal of 455 children. It’s a pretty ambitious goal. Last year, you sent over 1,100 children to summer camps. So I’m just cautiously optimistic and hopeful and prayerful that you’ll step up. Please go to MikeOnline.com. Click on the Make a Difference in the Lives of Prisoners Children banner at the top of the page. You’ll see the counter, and in real time, whatever donation you make, if you make at least $200, you’ll see another child get sponsored. Right now it says 29 out of 455 kids. Now we’ve got a long way to go, but I believe in you. And I truly pray that your heart will be touched today and you’ll recognize that we can counter evil with doing some good. Let’s bless these children’s lives. And if you can’t sponsor a child for the full $200, certainly we understand that, but maybe you could spare $25, $50, $100, $10, whatever you can spare. Please go to mikeonline.com, click on that banner at the top of the page, and bless these children. Let’s send kids to summer camp where they can have a chance. You’re going to give these kids a chance. And it just means so much to all of us, the way you step up. Please, please, please come through for these kids. MikeOnline.com. Click on the banner at the top of the page. And let’s see how the counter looks today. I’ll bet you we’re going to have a good day. James Comey said, it never occurred to me that it was any kind of controversial thing. Scott Jennings had a good take last night about the Democrat congresswoman from New Jersey facing criminal charges for assaulting an ICE agent. Here’s cut number 10. The mayor, as it turns out, was not criminally charged. Just this congresswoman, Lamerica, was. But listen to what Scott said on CNN about the mayor and the others who were assaulting federal law enforcement.
SPEAKER 07 :
Officials gave Congresswoman McIver and the other two lawmakers a one hour tour of the facility. So to then go from that to pressing charges seems hard to sustain. It’s pretty reasonable for them to do that after what after the way it certainly does seem very. Can I ask the mayor a question?
SPEAKER 15 :
Were you invited? I think the U.S. attorney also when they dropped the charges. You were invited to come and tour the facility, right?
SPEAKER 06 :
She did put that in the… Are you going to do it? Of course.
SPEAKER 15 :
Good. Of course. Here’s the point. You’ve got a tour for the members. He’s been offered a tour. There’s all sorts of accommodations being made here to people who didn’t act right in the moment.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, listen, there’s only one party here. Have you ever noticed, incidentally, that Scott never gets to complete an entire sentence on that show? You know, people get mad at me for interrupting… liberals and leftists who disagree with me, but he can’t get one sentence out. They jump on him so quick, it’s like they’re ready to pounce at anything he says. Now, start the beginning of that clip again. Christian, I want you to hear Abby Phillips claim that they were just getting a tour, and then look at the video on Salem News Channel as she’s talking, and you can see them assaulting the federal law enforcement officers.
SPEAKER 07 :
Watch this. Officials gave Congresswoman McIver and the other two lawmakers a one-hour tour of the facility. So to then go from that to pressing charges seems hard to sustain.
SPEAKER 13 :
And there’s the video of her roughing up and pushing and shoving and using her elbow. She’s got the red coat on. You can see her clear as a bell. You absolutely can see what she’s doing. And Abby Phillips wants to pretend that, oh, she got arrested for getting a tour. That’s not getting a tour. I’ve gotten a lot of tours in my life. You think I’m going to shove around and push and assault the tour guide? They’re going to arrest me if I do. John’s in Chicago. John, welcome to the Mike Gallagher Show. Hello. Hey, Mike. How’s it going? Good, John. How goes it?
SPEAKER 09 :
lucky bad that you know i just want to talk to you i know the uh… you know the big talk about the call me and you know his mean that he put up but i’m getting pushed back from the left telling me that jacket so because done there’s been a bunch of other right wing people did it during you know biden’s administration others of me going around that you know he did that too How do we, you know… It’s wrong.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s wrong.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s totally wrong.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s wrong on both sides, but… I mean, the difference might be Jack Posobiec, last time I checked, isn’t the former FBI agent. I mean, the former FBI director. You know, he’s an opinionated guy who does a really good job on air and a great pundit. But look, I’ve said this all along. It’s as wrong for anybody on our side to threaten the life of a Democrat as it is for them to threaten the life of Donald Trump. 100% agree. Got to be consistent. All right. Glad we agree. Thanks. Tom’s in San Antonio. Hey, Tom.
SPEAKER 08 :
Good morning. Hi. I have a simple question. What would have happened if someone had threatened President Obama or President Biden while they were in office the way Comey threatened President Trump?
SPEAKER 13 :
They’d be arrested. They’d be arrested. There’s no question. There’s just no question. Look, there’s no… The old adage applies here. If it wasn’t for double standards, Democrats wouldn’t have a standard at all. They have no standard. They’ve lied about everything continually. You know, yesterday I talked about all the distortions and the disinformation that came from Democrats. Jim Jordan last night cut number two on Fox News. Here’s Congressman Jordan talking about the litany of untruths that Democrats have told… which led to perhaps the coup de grace, the lie about Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive condition.
SPEAKER 02 :
The left has lied to us about everything. They lied to us about Benghazi. They lied to us about Russian collusion. They lied to us about parents at school board meetings. They lied to us about pro-life Catholics. They lied to us about COVID. They lied to us about the Hunter Biden laptop. We shouldn’t be surprised that they were lying to us about the mental state of the commander in chief.
SPEAKER 13 :
And it’s not just Republicans like Jim Jordan. I want you to hear Jon Stewart. And I’ve got this kind of weird love-hate relation. I like him. I just think he’s smart and he’s compassionate for veterans. Obviously, we don’t agree on anything politically. It’s a little bit like I feel about Bill Maher. Bill Maher and Jon Stewart are a couple of guys that I’d love to go out and chat with about the world. Believe it or not, there are plenty of Democrats or people who I disagree with politically who I like talking to and getting their perspective. They strike me, particularly Maher, they strike me as people who can be reasonable even if they come from a Democrat or progressive point of view. So I admit, I sort of enjoy Jon Stewart. And now he’s back. I think he’s doing one night a week. Here he is on Comedy Central. I think he just does Monday nights. He’s got like the Rachel Maddow deal. Where can I get a deal like this that these guys keep having? One night a week, and they’re making millions. But here was Jon Stewart last night mocking Jake Tapper and his stupid book, claiming that there’s this big scandal about the cover-up with Joe Biden’s cognitive decline when, of course, Jay Tapper was right in there attacking anybody who questioned Joe Biden’s cognitive decline. Well, even Jon Stewart called him out.
SPEAKER 14 :
Nothing could slow down this coming feeding news frenzy about Biden’s cognitive health other than maybe a report on his actual physical health, which was not good. But now we got ourselves a little problem. You’ve prepared an entire smorgasbord. Smorgasbord. Charcuterie board. You know what I’m talking about. I’m eating cheese. You know what I’m talking about. Entire smorgasbord based on what you thought would be a relatively uncomplicated story about mental decline. News has the countdown clock. They got the book graphics. They got the CNN Happy Meal tie-in toys. But now, doing the story seems almost disrespectful. Can CNN thread the needle? How do you pivot from excitedly promoting your anchor’s book to somberly and respectfully promoting your anchor’s book?
SPEAKER 05 :
Health was very much in the news even before the cancer diagnosis was announced on Sunday. That’s because of a new book by CNN’s Jake Tapper. This was already going to be a tough week, and this makes it much harder. And that is a reference to the fact that our colleague Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson have a book that’s set to publish on Tuesday.
SPEAKER 04 :
This very tough news, this very challenging news, and at the same time the backdrop of our colleague Jake Tapper’s book with Alex Thompson coming out this week.
SPEAKER 14 :
It’s so hard. It’s such a difficult time. So unfathomable in terms of the pain this family must be feeling. And yet, if you act now, and you use the code backslash, tap that book, you will… Obviously, this 20% off offer is not available for some reason in Tennessee. But the point is, forgetting about the fact how f***ing weird it is that the news is selling you a book about news they should have told you was news a year ago for free.
SPEAKER 13 :
Now, come on. See why I like the guy? Pretty funny stuff. More coming up.
SPEAKER 11 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior. Mike Gallagher. Broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide. And seen on your trusted conservative TV network. Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, the TV airwaves are filled with a rogues gallery of disgraced Democrats who are bragging about getting away with crap. Yesterday it was Comey. who went on MSNBC, sort of taunting President Trump after getting away with the death threat that he posted on Instagram with his 86-47 childish, despicable stunt. I’m just walking on the beach with my wife, not bothering anybody. And today, it’s Congresswoman LaMonica McIver. Now, she’s seen on camera. assaulting federal agents but she told CNN moments ago she would do it all over again if she had the opportunity.
SPEAKER 04 :
Would you have done anything differently?
SPEAKER 01 :
No, I would not have. Once again, we showed up there to do a job, Kate. We were there for an oversight visit. We have done this before. You know, me, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman and Congressman Bob Menendez was just at a facility just a couple of weeks ago, not too far from this location where we had an oversight visit. And we were a little bit delayed, but not confronted or was in the middle of a chaos to do so. I think, number one, we have an obligation to do so. We have to show up and do our jobs. And at the end of the day, the reason why we were there is because we wanted to make sure this facility was up to par, that it was clean, that it was safe, and that the detainees there were safe. were, you know, given due process, that they were able to use the phone, that they were able to speak to their legal representation, which we found out was not happening. But that was our reason. So despite, you know, what Republicans are saying, like, you know, about us, you know, trying to break people out of jail, that’s untrue. We were not there to do that. We were there to conduct an oversight visit, which after all of this chaos, Kate, they gave us a tour. You know, we were all of this. We broke in. We assaulted people. All of these things that you know, HABA is saying and Republicans are saying. Congresswoman, you are now facing a federal charge, though.
SPEAKER 04 :
Are you afraid of what’s going to transpire now?
SPEAKER 01 :
I mean, it’s super unfortunate, Kate, that we have come to this point in America that this is what we see happening to leaders who are trying to do their jobs. Rather, it’s the mayor of the largest city. Rather, it’s a judge. We’ve seen this administration come after and attack leaders for doing their jobs. It’s political intimidation, and I will not be intimidated. I expect to continue to do my job.
SPEAKER 13 :
Now, I’m going to give you a little giveaway about TV, okay? Because I’ve been a broadcaster for a long time. Spent a lot of years in front of a microphone and a camera. Spent about a decade as a Fox News contributor. Made a decision to leave Fox in 2016 because it just didn’t excite me anymore. I mean, to be honest with you, there’s some people that would run over their own mother to have the opportunity to get three minutes with Jesse Waters on TV. And I… been there, done that, and it just doesn’t do it for me. I love doing this show every day, and I want to focus all of my efforts on the hours that I get to spend in the Salem environment. But look, there’s plenty of my friends and colleagues who do a lot of TV, and I love that for them, and I know they’re excited about it, and I want them to be excited, and I want them to be prosperous and successful. But I know TV. I know how it works. I drive the TV team here crazy because I’ve got a pretty good working knowledge of what TV is supposed to look like. And we have a term, we have an aspect of television called B-roll. B-roll is when Christian will roll video that compliments what I might be talking about. So if I’m talking about the disgraced former FBI agent James Comey, he’ll put up B-roll of James Comey. Oh, like he’s doing right now. Nicely done. Nicely done, young man. I mean, he’s quick. He’s really quick. In fact, it’s kind of a crazy thing that he has to learn how to read my mind a little bit and anticipate when I’m going to do… Let’s see, I’ll give you another test. I could start going from James Comey to talking about… President Donald J. Trump. President Trump went to Capitol Hill today. Look at that! There’s President Trump in the Oval Office. See how quick he is? It’s called B-roll. And good video producers like Christian Russell know how to do it. Salem News Channel does a great job across the platform of running B-roll. In that minute and 45 second clip that I just played for you with Congressman LaMonica McIver, CNN didn’t dare do the obvious move, and that would be to play the B-roll of her assaulting the federal officers. There she is throwing elbows and putting hands on ICE agents with her big red jacket on. She’s as clear as you can see. That video B-roll, while she’s saying she didn’t do anything wrong, would, of course, contradicted her. Of course CNN didn’t run the obvious B-roll that we’re running right now on Salem News Channel. Because it would make her look like a bald-faced liar. Oh, we got a tour. We’re just conducting oversight. Oh, really? Oversight means you throw down with an ICE agent? Oversight means you shove an elbow and assault a federal officer? Because tell you what, lady. If any of us would have done that, we would have been slapped in handcuffs right then and there. So it’s a good thing that she’s facing criminal charges. The acting New Jersey U.S. Attorney, Alina Haba, announced, My office has charged Congressman LaMonica McIver with violation of Title 18 United States Code, Section 111A1, for assaulting, impeding, and interfering with law enforcement. And the reason CNN didn’t dare play one second of B-roll during that conversation with LaMonica McIver is because it would have shown that she did what she’s charged with doing. The videotape doesn’t lie. The video is unblinking. The video shows her shoving and elbowing and assaulting a federal law enforcement officer. I’m glad that the government is following through. They should be doing more of this. They should have charged James Comey as well. Now James Comey signals to all the creeps and the crazies and the kooks out there that you can threaten Donald Trump as much as you want. But you better be careful. Because if you do, just because James Comey got away with it doesn’t necessarily mean you will. Be forewarned. Welcome in. We’re Tuesday in the Relief Factor studios, 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. I hope you join us. I want to put your voice front and center. Give me your reaction to this whole story and the criminal charges that Democrat Representative LaMonica McIver, Rocky Balboa, faces. She’s the Rocky of the U.S. Congress, decides to take on an armed federal law enforcement officer at the ICE facility in New Jersey. But, you know, when you futz around, you find out. And right now, Congressman LaMonica McGyver is in the found-out portion of futzing around. 800-655-MIKE. Call, text, join us. And let me give you an opportunity to remember how you can let your voice be heard, get off the sidelines, and partner with Job Creators Network. Last November, over 77 million of us made President Trump our 47th president. There’s no issue that was more crucial than the economy. Voters remembered Trump’s economy, and we want to forget Joe Biden’s. Well, what drove the economy in President Trump’s first term was the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. It lowered taxes on hardworking Americans and 30 million small business owners. Right now, President Trump is urging members of Congress, because he met with members of Congress today. And great, great news. There’s progress. But I need you to help. Seal the deal. I’m asking you to go to taxcutsnow.com. Send a letter to your elected representatives in Congress demanding they make the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent. No more delays. No new taxes. You can be heard. You can get off the sidelines. SPEAKER 11 :
Mike Gallagher. Every day, Mike visits with Mark Davis. Morning host on 660 AM, The Answer in Dallas. Here’s today’s Eminem experience.
SPEAKER 13 :
Check out headlines today. I love this. Newsmax. Four new polls show Trump with strong approval ratings. How about Axios? Biden’s cancer diagnosis draws sympathy and suspicion. Even the left, the Democrats are now piling on. How about another Axios headline, MAGA faithful, and this is the one I want to start with you on. The MAGA faithful are growing frustrated with Trump’s Justice Department. And Mark, well, people are saying, come on, Pam Bondi, why aren’t you arresting James Comey? Come on, guys. Why don’t you stop? I mean, Pam Bondi is spending a lot of time on Fox News, but not a lot of time actually prosecuting.
SPEAKER 12 :
Not a lot of time… He got a tense visit from the Secret Service and, in fact, was escorted to a Secret Service office for a sit-down. What exactly did people… want.
SPEAKER 13 :
Once you charge him with threatening the President of the United States, there’s a statute that says you can’t do that. And you know, maybe the and I’m going to go on a limb here a little bit. Maybe the conventional wisdom is it would have been tough to get a conviction in a court of law. At least charge him. At least throw… There’s value to that. There’s optics value to that. Right. Exactly. The optics value. At least say, look, they’re doing it.
SPEAKER 12 :
Look, Alina Habba’s doing it now with… Congresswoman LaMonica McIver of New Jersey assaulted ICE officers and she flat out got charged.
SPEAKER 13 :
And the Democrats, of course, are melting down faster than a bucket of water on the Wicked Witch. They’re saying, how dare you chill our… It was part of her oversight. Oh, yeah? Your oversight is to lay hands on an ICE agent? That’s part of your oversight?
SPEAKER 12 :
Nice try, Congresswoman. And did you see the posturing? I think it was three, four days… It was end of last week. I had back-to-back audio. There was Hakeem Jeffries with that wonderful hand-chopping thing he does. I just want to tell you that if they do anything, that if they cross a line, that’s a line that you do not cross. Well, what are you going to do? I’m not going to tell you, but that’s a line that you do not cross. Do not cross. And then AOC, if you lay one finger on our people, we’re going to have a problem. Oh, really, young lady? And what exactly were that problems?
SPEAKER 13 :
They’re just about threats and they’re about flailing about because you can’t put hands… Look, no one is above the law. And if you’re a congressman… Now, she made a decision not to charge the mayor. And I saw an analysis last night. I think it was over on… I think it was at One American News, they were saying that the video doesn’t show conclusively him putting hands, but she does. She’s pushing. She’s shoving. You don’t shove a cop if you’re a member of Congress. Who do they think they are? They just think they can get away with anything, and I’m fed up with it. And again, back to Pam Bondi. Do you think Trump’s Justice Department has been sufficient enough? Here’s Kash Patel and Bongino. Oh, Epstein did kill himself. Which infuriated Epstein’s brother. Epstein’s brother said, no, he didn’t. He was killed. Who are they to say that? I mean, it’s like, here’s what the MAGA masses are growing. This is Tal Axelrod over at Axios. The MAGA masses are growing disillusioned with Justice Department officials who are failing to deliver damning information on a laundry list of hot-button issues.
SPEAKER 12 :
There’s one problem with the headline. One problem with the headline. Masses. What you and I have described and what you brought up is absolutely resonating with. And it’s not a tiny sliver. It’s an appreciable number of people. But I would say the vast number of people who voted for Trump don’t pay a lot of attention. And when I say don’t pay a lot, they want an active, they want Pam Bondi to be great. They want justice done for justice reasons and not DEI and not preferential treatment, not political witch hunts, et cetera, et cetera. That has been cleansed and that’s good. about this is somewhat limited at the moment. It’s a kind of a political junkie kind of thing. So the notion that the MAGA masses are frosted by this is an overstatement.
SPEAKER 13 :
Well, to your point, the reality check at the end of the article says not everybody is ready to flip the table. While some people are still building up their MAGA bona fides, like Pam Bondi, others like Patel and Bongino have longstanding credibility with Trump fans. And the underlying point remains, the National Pulse’s Rahim Kassam texted Axios, the underlying point remains, Cash and Dan are badasses at the height of their efficacy. They deserve more time. And more trust.
SPEAKER 12 :
And they do deserve our trust, which is why when you get to the whole stupid Epstein story, where it’s impossible to even mention it without everything going through the instant meat grinder of everybody’s immediate biases, was he just a… A horrific creature, of course. Is there probably something we don’t know and that maybe we’ll never know of some famous or infamous people who are on the plane? There is no client list. That’s a fraud. But is there something in there that if only we knew that it would be juicy? Probably. So that has everybody just amped up, cranked up to 11. So he dies in prison. Wow, does that look suspicious? Do we know like we know our own names that he was killed, that somebody had him killed? No, we do not. Is it a suspicion worthy of some foundation? Sure. But I do trust Kash Patel and I do trust Dan Bongino. And if they are the ones who have the closest access to the evidence and they say, you know, looks like a suicide, I’m prepared to defer to them.
SPEAKER 13 :
Meanwhile, I had dinner last night with a buddy of mine who got into a mess with TSA a few months ago. I forget the airport he was in. I think it was a smaller airport. His elderly mother was getting frisked by TSA because she had metal. And he said, would you stop putting your hands on my mother? And then they got lippy with him. He wound up and then American Airlines got involved. It was a mess. And I got to thinking about what I went through on my way here. I always try to wear a flag pin that has the Israeli flag and the American flag. Intertwined. I’m wearing it right now as we speak, if you’re watching on Salem News Channel. I was at the gate in Tampa, and a 40, 50-something-year-old woman with a streak of purple in her hair, which could have been the giveaway, walks up to me, and she purposely comes near me. She, like, veers towards me, and as she gets almost shoulder-to-shoulder with me, she says, free Palestine, M-F-er. And she didn’t say M-F-er. And I thought, you know something? Now, I know I’m not an intimidating, imposing-looking fellow. I know I’m not going to scare anybody. But how does she know I’m not going to rear off and just pop her right in the snout? What the heck gives her the right?
SPEAKER 12 :
Honestly, because she probably knows that that’s what her side does. That the violence, the short fuses, the ridiculousness, the juvenile behavior, that’s them. Yeah.
