You could be knowing or suggesting correctly what What will happen in the future? If we don’t get a handle on all of this spending, it’s very prescient that we are headed towards economic disaster. So the word of the day is prescient. It’s P-R-E-S-C-I-E-N-T. Our quote of the day, I went to Thomas Sowell. Amazing man. He was born in 1930. He’s an American economist, economic historian, and social and political commentator. He’s a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford. And he’s a widely published commentary in books and has been a regular guest on TV and radio. And he’s a well-known voice in the American conservative movement as a prominent black conservative. And he says this, although the big word on the left is compassion, The big agenda on the left is dependency. And again, that plays into the World Economic Forum and the globalist elites to have people dependent on government so that they can control everyone. So let’s see here. Next thing, a big, big Supreme Court decision. This is from NBC News. It says the Supreme Court upholds The Tennessee ban on transgender youth medical care. And it says their byline then is the ruling is a major setback for transgender rights with more than 20 states having enacted laws similar to Tennessee’s, which I will say these have been enacted to protect children. from gender mutilation, whether or not that’s pharmaceutical or surgical. So this is a big thing. This is a 6-3 ruling. And it says it’s likely to have a broad impact as 24 other states have already enacted laws. Gosh, they’re byline and all. They don’t connect exactly. And so this bars gender transition surgery, puberty blockers, and hormone therapy for youths. So that is huge. Next thing, you would never have seen this under the O’Biden administration. And this is from the Daily Caller, and it is by Hudson Crozier. And he said, the feds are tracing the money behind the L.A. riots in an expanding probe. It’s shedding light on who’s behind all of this. This is a really big deal. And it says the IRS is tracing this money connected to these recent left-wing riots in Los Angeles in partnership with other agencies, the Trump administration officials announced Tuesday. The IRS, FBI, and Department of Justice leaders said in a video posted to X that their agencies are working together to investigate financial support. For the anti-deportation riots, let me put in my editorial control, the anti-American pro-Marxist riots that rock Los Angeles for several days starting June 6th. It says the unrest has led to nearly $20 million in costs for Los Angeles so far and more than 550 arrests on charges such as resisting, obstructing, or delaying attempted murder, looting, and vandalism. huh that doesn’t sound like a peaceful protest to me and then the other thing we want we have to continue to shed light on this that the colorado secretary of state let me just make sure here that she’s not put this back up but she had taken down the campaign finance reports at her website. And that has been actually a very interesting tool on following the money. And she purportedly said that she took this down to protect people because of the shootings of some politicians up in Minnesota. I don’t quite get the connection. And I think transparency is really important. And it still says that the site is down for maintenance. And so that’s something we need to continue to push. I did have a conversation with someone yesterday that. I think your money actually is freedom of speech. I’m not sure that I totally agree that all of this should be out there, but that’s the way it is right now. But the trick is, is those that really want to influence elections have figured out ways to go around all this. But anyway, I’ve used it as a tool to follow the money, and it’s been very helpful. A hundred percent they do. I’m researching something else because I think there were some articles in April regarding Lakewood and their new zoning. And I got that late last night. So I’m looking into that, but I really feel like this is the blueprint for the entire front range.

And tell us some of the things that you do that are so important about getting the right painting job done when you’re doing something indoors.

Absolutely. So the first thing we do when we show up, I usually walk it with my guys and show them exactly what we’re painting, what colors are going where. And then we start our preparation process, which the very first thing we do is protect the floors and protect the furniture, make sure that we’re not going to get any drywall or paint on anything where paint does not belong, right? And the floor protection, it really depends. on the actual floor, whether it’s tile, whether it’s carpet, LVP, hardwood, we’re going to use the right things to protect that floor because we also don’t want our ladders scratching the floors either, right? Once we have everything covered, then if there’s any drywall repairs, we will do those. We caulk where it needs to be caulked. Sometimes maybe baseboards have just been replaced or you’ve got the like in Mary’s house, the hundred year old house. And so where the walls meet, the bare wood baseboards will caulk in there. And then once we’re done with that, we’ll prime anything that was fresh drywall, and then we do the painting.

Okay, and I think prep is, that’s one of the most important components of getting a paint job done correctly, yes?
SPEAKER 06 :
And it’s probably the one thing, if you have a DIYer, probably the one thing that they hate because it’s time consuming, but it’s absolutely necessary.

Okay. And I think that’s one of the things that puts radiant painting and lighting a cut above. Hello, Kim. Thank you so much for having me. Good morning and welcome I would love to talk with you about Denver’s new debt. You know, there’s been some issues at the airport, and I’ve been watching the airport for quite a few years now because they are so far into debt. But whatever you would like to talk about, please.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, let’s begin. Well, I was thinking about our conversation, what we would have today. And we look at the federal government, the federal debt, and you can take a look at what it is per person. A new baby that’s born is born into significant debt at the federal level. But we see all kinds of spending, the state budget, they’re spending way too much money. But you bring this on down then to county and municipal and school district debt. We are drowning in debt as individuals. We have to start to say no to this local debt, such as the school districts. And now Mayor Mike Johnston thinks he’s going to put an $800 billion ballot question on the ballot. Did I get that right? It’s $800 million, excuse me, right? $800 million.
SPEAKER 23 :
Yes, he’s asking for $800 million this November. And, you know, at the federal level, $37, $38 trillion, whatever it is today, there’s an organization called Truth in Accounting, and they are great. They explain that that doesn’t include Social Security or pension plans. for government employees. And if you include that, it’s four or five times that $37, $38 trillion. It’s real bad news. And then you go to Colorado. Dave Young, the state treasurer, just got a bill approved, and the governor signed it about two weeks ago to create a whole new financial bureaucracy with the state of Colorado to go after more debt. Dave Young, the state treasurer, refers to that debt as global capital. He’s going to go get global capital. That is nothing but debt. That’s what he means when he says that. At the county level, it’s everywhere. It’s everywhere you look. It’s, you know, the Denver Public Schools, the RTD. It goes on and on with the city of Denver, the Denver Water Department, the Denver’s airport. It’s everywhere. And all our governments are getting further and further into debt. And we should be operating with no debt. Denver’s been here for 165 years now, and we will be so much better off financially on both sides of the equation. The taxpayer and the city budget will be both so much better off when we get out of debt. And so the first step is no new debt. I talk to people and they say, this problem is so big, where do we start? And there’s a lot of frustration. And I know some people are just kind of resigning to the fact that we have too much debt, but we can’t do that. We have to push back. And I say, well, the first place we start is No New Debt. And so that’s the name of our organization, Citizens for No New Debt.
SPEAKER 07 :
And this is the place to start. And let’s talk a little bit about the airport. I saw somebody had posted on Facebook that the trains were not working. And in fact, someone said that and then you just saw these crowds waiting for the trains. And somebody said they were concerned that they were going to miss their flight until it was that their pilot was also waiting to try to get on those trains again. And so they’re not managing it very well out there, and they got a lot of debt, right?
SPEAKER 23 :
They have so much debt. And I was taking a look at this recent story with the train. You know, it seems like it was scheduled maintenance, but just really they picked a bad time to actually do that maintenance. They could have pushed it back, you know, even six hours. But, you know, this problem with the train has been perennial at the airports. They they generally don’t have enough trains. I mean, when I use that airport quite often, most of the people who want on the train don’t even get on the train. So those trains are always too full, not always full, too full, but quite often too full. And then, you know, on the other side of the coin, you look at RTD trains and they have these enormous trains that are almost empty all the time. And here’s the thing. It’s the same coin. It’s these government bureaucracies that are just not ran very well. And, you know, at the airport, in addition to the operational, the financial is a complete disaster. You know, they have $10 billion on $1.5 billion in revenue. That’s a debt to revenue of 800 percent. The airport is just about bankrupt. I mean, they’re borrowing money to pay the debt. And some people will say, hey, they’re borrowing that money for the construction. No, they’re paying so much more in debt service than they’re spending on construction. So it’s a problem. But, yeah, so the trains, you’ve got to say, hey, you know, why is the airport, the trains are always too full, and RTD is running these big trains. You know, it will probably be the same way in five years from now, in 10 years from now. Why do these government bureaucracies, why do they not improve? You know, operationally, our government needs to get focused. on business practice. We call that best practice. We call it process and improve. And there’s a word called Kaizen, which is a business term, and it means continuous improvement. But these trains, I mean, is there continuous improvement? The problems with these trains have been going on basically since the airport opened. But I just don’t think they’re running the airport that well. The top executives are making $80 million for their payroll. And, you know, we need to expect that airport to run better. But the mayor of the city, he’s going to have to deal with this until he – you know, goes out to the airport and works on this problem, you know, but he’ll need to spend less time getting in front of the media every single day. I don’t know how he has time to do his job.
SPEAKER 07 :
But so a couple of things. I want to make sure that we get our numbers right, because I said that he was looking for 800. I want to clarify. He wants to have a ballot question to have $800 million in new debt. Now, you said payroll out at the airport is $80 million. Is that what you said?
SPEAKER 23 :
For executive, the finance department, the executive office, and the chief of staff. That’s not including all the personnel services.
SPEAKER 07 :
$80 million or $8 million?
SPEAKER 23 :
$80 million. Yeah, they have hundreds of executives, Kim.
SPEAKER 07 :
They must. Oh, my gosh.
SPEAKER 23 :
Okay. I mean, the media is interviewing senior vice presidents, left and right, over this train issue yesterday. It’s that, well, how many senior vice presidents do you have? And it goes on and on. But I think most government bureaucracies have way too much administrative and they’re too top-heavy, way too much overhead for the amount of actual production that the government’s doing. I just don’t think the government’s very good at operations at all. And
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, and I want to clarify, government doesn’t produce anything. Yeah, yeah. We need to make sure that government does not produce anything. And there’s cushy salaries. And one other thing, so your website is citizensfornonewdebt.org. And also, I would recommend that people add into your repertoire open… thebooks.com as well and you can go in and you can find your jurisdiction your school district and you can see what the top level people are making and so that is salary and then they get many times cushy things could be car allowance they have pensions on top of that this is upside down right now because everyday people are just trying to work to keep it together jason bailey

There are so many people out there struggling to keep it together, to get the bills paid, to get the rent paid. And government debt and this bureaucratic overhead, all it does is trickle that money up. Government debt trickles the money up from the people who are out there, and they’re working six days a week. And the people out there, and they’re doing labor. They’re doing labor. And our government takes our money and gives it to the banking system. In large amounts, we need to operate without debt. We need to cut that bureaucratic overhead. It’s just clear as day. You know what? They just want more, and they just don’t seem to admit that they have too much overhead. They just always want more. In the city of Denver, they were talking about laying some people off. Of course we should lay some people off, but they just act like it’s the end of the world. There’s too much overhead. You’d think they would figure this out. But they will sooner or later because something has to change, Kim.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, we must no longer be spending all of this money on government. And again, I was thinking about, oh, we have all this. And people indicate displeasure with Trump regarding not getting spending under control in his first term. And it looks to me like we still have a lot of work to do on the federal level. Yes, we need to do that. But we also need to roll up our sleeves and say no to no new debt at the local, the county and the state level and also these school districts, because we the people are the ones that are going to have to pay that off. Your final thought on all this, Jason Bailey.

Well, yeah, you know, Trump gave David a good shot and he’ll keep working on it. You know, I know there are just a lot of people pulling him in every direction, but he him and Elon certainly gave it a better shot than anybody has that that I’ve ever seen. So, you know, we will get it done. We just need to just keep talking with people about how counterproductive government debt is. It just makes no sense whatsoever at face value. These politicians say bonds pay for things. Bonds don’t pay for anything. The taxpayer pays every single penny, and fees are taxes. There’s only one way all things government get paid for. That’s you and me. It’s the people, and there is no other way. And the more we talk about this, the quicker we’ll get this problem taken care of and moving in the right direction.

Yes. Okay, great. And Carrie Giblets is a concerned citizen. She lives in Elbert County. And so, Carrie, tell us what’s going on there.

Well, about three and a half years ago, we got notice that Xcel Energy was planning to put high voltage transmission lines through our county. And so they held some open houses and we went and we saw that they were coming right through the middle of our county, which is the most beautiful part of our county. So a group of people got together and we decided that we were going to try and get them to change the route. There are other parts of our county that that are more suitable for this, where there are already right of way easements and transmission corridors. So we’ve been working on that for three and a half years. And unfortunately, Excel is refusing to change the route and they have started imminent domain proceedings on landowners out here before they even have approval from the county.
SPEAKER 07 :
This is a real assault upon property rights. And eminent domain is in the Constitution, but it should be used very seldom. And there is, if in fact land is taken for a government purpose, there’s supposed to be just compensation, correct, Carrie?
SPEAKER 04 :
Correct. Correct. And they say that they’re offering just compensation, but the appraisals that they are giving people for land are far different from the private appraisals that landowners are getting themselves.
SPEAKER 07 :
This is a real problem. The other thing, Carrie, when you and I were preparing for the interview, I thought a lot about eminent domain. I saw the potential use of it when I was on city council and had indicated my displeasure with using eminent domain with staff. And so while I was on city council, we never did use eminent domain. But I was thinking about it, land, there’s only a certain amount of land. And land is a tangible piece of property. And just compensation for land, if people are paid in dollars, And because of public policy, the dollar has been losing value. So what you’re seeing is Excel would take a piece of land, and the first and foremost is the whole just compensation question. But the second thing is, is them paying people in an asset that will go down in value. That’s a real problem, Carrie.
SPEAKER 04 :
I agree. I hadn’t thought of it in those terms until you mentioned it, but that makes a lot of sense.
SPEAKER 07 :
And so what is happening now? People are paying attention. I think that people maybe didn’t realize that this was possibly going to happen, right, Carrie?
SPEAKER 04 :
There are a lot of people who are just now hearing about it. Our group, Elbert County Environmental Alliance, We have a mailing list, though, and we have over 400 people on our mailing list right now. So we’ve sent up updates and tried to keep people involved. But there are people who are just now finding out about it because, of course, our mailing list is people who have voluntarily asked to be on it. So we’re trying to spread the word, social media, local media, however we can to spread the word, and more and more people are getting involved and getting worried about it.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, and there is an alternative already in place that Xcel could use, yes?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes. There are utility easements to the east. There are transmission corridors to the east that they could use. They had another area out east that they said was an option, but then they decided, no, it wasn’t going to work for them. It’s more expensive, so they’re not going to use that. The thing is, if they go further east, there are larger acreages. I mean, they have acreages of, you know, thousands of acres and places where people are not living. So the impact would be far less than it is here. This is a more residential area. I mean, residential in the fact that we have 5 acres, 20 acres, a couple hundred acres, but not like the 1,000-acre tracts that are out east. There are no forests out east. Here you’d be going through the northern tip of the Black Forest, and there will be clear-cutting trees, 150-foot-wide swaths for their right-of-way. So there are also people who are in favor of having the transmission towers on their property out east, but Xcel refuses to do it.
SPEAKER 07 :
So you said there’s five-acre tracts, 20-acre tracts. What would this look like if Xcel Energy used eminent domains? So let’s say for somebody with five acres, what does that look like?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, there are people who will have this huge 150-foot-tall transmission tower right in their front yard. There’s a kids’ camp. that they’re going to be putting the lines directly over this children’s summer camp. I can’t even imagine how horrible it would be to have that in your front yard. There’s a property just not too far from me where the tower is going to be 80 feet from the house.
SPEAKER 07 :
This is a real problem. And, again, there are alternatives to doing this right through these people’s property. It sounds pretty heavy-handed to me from Xcel Energy. And so the transmission line is supposed to get power from where to where?
SPEAKER 04 :
So the transmission line is going from Comanche Creek in Pueblo to Harvest Mile, which is – A little north of Aurora, I believe.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. And Comanche Creek is what kind of a facility?
SPEAKER 04 :
It’s a coal facility, I believe. I’m not positive. It’s one that’s going to be shutting down, though. So they will be, their purpose, and if you go to their Colorado Power Pathway website, Their purpose is to open up the eastern plains for wind and solar development.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay, so right now they would be building a transmission line, which would be transmitting power, transporting power from a coal-fired plant that the powers that be here in Colorado want to shut down. Am I getting that right?
SPEAKER 04 :
Correct.
SPEAKER 07 :
And they want to take people’s land to do it?
SPEAKER 04 :
Correct. okay so there’s an important meeting coming up very soon yes yes there is a public hearing in front of the board of county commissioners on june 24th at one o’clock at the albert county fairgrounds they put the meetings there when they expect a lot of people and there should be quite a few people there there was a public hearing in front of the planning commission about a week and a half ago, and the Planning Commission voted to recommend denial of the application for many, many reasons. But one of them was the application is deemed incomplete, but Excel chose to go ahead with an incomplete application. So they will be presenting their incomplete application to the Board of County Commissioners on the 24th.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. This is really, really important. We’ve been talking about these transmission line corridors and talking more big picture on it. Now that we are here in Colorado and how this is going to affect people on the ground and their land, to take their land for this transmission line corridor for wind and solar, which is an intermittent process. And we’re seeing the Trump administration start to have some realism about wind and solar as well. And we need to get rid of all the subsidies that go to wind and solar. And make sure that our energy portfolio is economically viable instead of ideological push on that. So we’re going to continue the discussion with Carrie Giblets. So Kerry Giblets, there’s this meeting with the county commissioners on Tuesday, this upcoming Tuesday. The Elbert County Planning Commission has recommended denial of of this application by xcel energy and i imagine that there will be a lot of people there at that meeting that are going to encourage the commissioners to vote no on this application is that what you’re anticipating yes i i would imagine that i have not heard one person in this area of the county be in favor of this route and that’s over three and a half years with lots and lots of meetings so

I would imagine that it will be packed with people asking them to vote no.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. Now, Carrie Giblets, let me get that right. I apologize. I like to get it right. Ginny has been on this issue, and also we’ve had Virginia Maka on the show. She’s the founder of Stand for the Land Kansas. And there’s something that is occurring out there that this land is being taken by eminent domain, that some of these companies then are using that as collateral. They’re actually selling the rights that they have on that, and they’re using that from an economic standpoint. And so that’s something we need to be watching as well. I don’t know if that’s something you’ve looked at, Carrie. No.
SPEAKER 04 :
I have not, and that’s not anything that has come to my attention.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. So I’ll get Virginia on, and we’ll talk more about that. Let’s see. This came in on the line as well. It said, regarding Excel, I thought we weren’t supposed to have monopolies. In my opinion, this company does what they want to regardless of the public. How do citizens stop the monopoly on this? That’s a very excellent question. Would you like to address that?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes. True, so true, because Excel has done nothing but tell us it doesn’t matter what you do, this is the route. We even had a conversation with Excel Colorado President Robert Kenney, who told us this is the route. It will not be changing. So they’re doing whatever they want. I mean, they’re going in with an incomplete application. They don’t care. They know that they’re going to get what they want.
SPEAKER 07 :
So even if the county commissioners deny this, what does that look like, Carrie?
SPEAKER 04 :
If the county commissioners deny this, they have told us that they will investigate the actions of their backstop authority and appeal to the Colorado PUC. The Colorado PUC has the authority to overturn local government decisions.
SPEAKER 07 :
So this looks like this is a real problem. So we need to continue to shed all kinds of light on this, Carrie.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, yes, because that’s something that shouldn’t be allowed to happen.
SPEAKER 07 :
The thing about it, Carrie, to play this out, so there may be people in the metro area that say, well, gosh, I want to make sure that I have my electricity so I can turn my lights on. And this doesn’t really affect me. This is out in Elbert County. But when government can start to take people’s property there, I was thinking about it here in the metro area with, again, usurping local control. on land use issues, zoning, all those kinds of things. What would prevent government a few years down the line saying, hey, so-and-so, you live in this size house, you have this many bedrooms, you’re not using all those bedrooms. So I know this seems a little tin hat-ish, but so we’re going to use some of those bedrooms for affordable housing to help people be able to have housing. You could see this play out in very dangerous terms, Carrie.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I can’t speak to that, but it is scary that people can come in and take something that you believe is yours and use it for their own purposes. And in this case, Excel is a for-profit company. So they’ll be taking it for their own profits.
SPEAKER 07 :
And again, it’s important that people understand that there is an alternative to this.
SPEAKER 04 :
Correct. And Elbert County gets absolutely no benefit from these lines. The power is all for Denver and the Front Range. And people in Denver might say, but we do need power. You know, we’re a growing metropolis. And we’re not saying, no, you shouldn’t have that power. We’re just saying there are better places within Elbert County to put the lines.
SPEAKER 07 :
And so what do you think people should do to help you? What’s your website? You mentioned, I think, a couple of different websites. How can people get more information about this issue?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, our group is Albert County Environmental Alliance. It’s ecealliance.org. So you can get more information there. People can talk to their legislators about the power that the PC has the power that excel energy has for eminent domain, I think that’s legislation that needs to be changed.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, and the other thing is, is the PUC, the board members on that are appointed. And I don’t know exactly the makeup, but ultimately the governor and the legislature appoint them. But then the PUC is unaccountable to the people. And that’s why all of these boards and commissions are such a problem. Because it’s moved these bureaucrats into a position of having enormous power, but they’re unelected and they’re unaccountable to the people.
SPEAKER 04 :
Exactly, yes.
SPEAKER 07 :
And so who else is working with you to help you? I know that actually Josh Lowenstein is the person that got us connected. And of course, he is doing great work with his organization as well. And so who else is helping you?
SPEAKER 04 :
Really, it’s just our group. We don’t have any other outside agencies who have been helping us. It’s pretty much just been our core team working and just trying to get the word out to people, trying to research things, present information to our local government officials. So we don’t really have any outside assistance. okay and so this meeting is really critical on tuesday will excel have well they’ll be making the presentation yes right they they will make a presentation then well first the county will make their presentation the county staff who has received the application they will make their presentation excel will make their presentation then there will be public hearing where the public can speak And then the commissioners will discuss and question Excel and then make a decision.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. And I wanted to give you – Josh Lowenstein is the executive director of OurAmericanLands.com, OurAmericanLands.com, and he’s doing a lot of great work there as well. So, Carrie – Giblets, thank you so much for taking a stand on this. You’ve been working on this for three years. You said that the head of Xcel Energy, it doesn’t sound to me like he’s looking at other options, that he just is pretty determined to take these people’s land, yes?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, yes. We already have people who have been served with condemnation. So they’re full bore ahead, even though it hasn’t been approved by the county.
SPEAKER 07 :
And the offers that are being made to, well, if they condemn the land, is that different from eminent domain or do you know?
SPEAKER 04 :
From what I understand, condemnation is the process of eminent domain. So eminent domain is they will take your land. Condemnation is the process that they go through.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. And let’s think about this. This is property that people have worked, they’ve saved. And out in Albert County, it’s a beautiful county. And I drive through there because I’m from western Kansas. And it is absolutely a beautiful county. And people move there because they didn’t want to have all of this stuff happen to their land. And so the fact that this is happening right here in Albert County is of great concern. Your final thought on all of this, Carrie Gibletts?
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh my final thought is I am I am hopeful that we can make a change and make it so that XL cannot just come in and bully their way through that they have to listen to the community members and they have to do what’s right by the community. I think that there’s a way that we can do this with courtesy and with compromise. And I hope that XL will come to that realization.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, we will continue to shed light on this, Carrie, because I think that that is so important. I thank you for coming on to talk about this because we need to realize that owning property is inherent in the American founding and our American heritage. Another headline that I mentioned, and that is, this is from, I think this is from Reuters. Let me just make sure. Nope, excuse me, Daily Caller. It says, the feds are tracing the money behind the L.A. riots in an expanding probe. This is going to be really interesting as we follow the money. And that we need to continue to put pressure on the Colorado Secretary of State to put the Tracer campaign finance information back up. It’s a great tool to follow the money. And she apparently took the site down in response to the shootings of the politicians in Minnesota, which is very tragic. But I’m not sure how you connect that with taking down the campaign finance. finance information here in colorado so we need to be putting pressure on her on that i was watching with great interest the fed federal reserve met regarding interest rates and wanted to talk with lauren levy about that he is everything mortgages he works with a lot of different companies so he has a lot of different options when you’re looking for mortgages he can help you in 49 of the 50 states just not new york lauren levy welcome to the show

Good morning, Kim.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, the inflation numbers were pretty good, weren’t they?
SPEAKER 16 :
Yes, they were. And that’s why the Fed didn’t do anything yesterday at their meeting. I don’t know how many people were expecting anything to happen yesterday. You know, there’s still people that think there may be a couple of cuts coming later this year. I don’t think there was too much surprise with yesterday. But I think more of the surprise is that I was watching, you know, you said you were watching, they did an interview with the Gary Cohen, who was the chief economic advisor during the first Trump administration, and he said that he could see a path where there’s no cuts this year at all just because of the way the economy is performing. And that would be a surprise to a lot of people and would really set up quite a battle between the president and the Fed right now because we’re all hearing what’s being said, you know.
SPEAKER 07 :
So it seems to me that Jerome Powell, the head of the Federal Reserve, he seemed like he was very happy to increase rates. But now that even with the inflation numbers rising. in line with what they say that they want. He’s like, no, we’re not going to lower interest rates right now. And gosh, lowering interest rates would help people with their mortgages. It seems like he’s happy to have them higher, but it’s not like he wants to make them lower. What do you think?
SPEAKER 16 :
I think there’s a couple of things. Number one, I think that when they talk about Powell as the Fed, he’s just one guy and there’s a committee, right? So he’s the leader of the committee and with a When they have their meeting, the reason they announce their results a day and a half later is they vote. So he said in the meeting yesterday, you know, there was a lot of consensus for not raising rates yesterday, but there are a couple of people on the committee that wanted to lower, but there was also a couple that were considering raising. And I think, honestly, their biggest fear is that they don’t know the effect of anything that might be coming as far as what happens if and when tariffs actually do kick in, because now we have this July 2nd deadline, correct? um, for the latest round of negotiations. And so they’re saying they’re data dependent. They want to see, I think their biggest fear is that they lower and then inflation spikes on them again and hurts everybody. And so that’s what they’re saying anyhow. So I understand what you’re saying. You’re saying, you know, that they raise rates quickly and now they’re not dropping them, but I think they’re afraid to drop them too fast to have, um, you know, there’s not a lot of unemployment right now. There’s, there’s, uh, Prices are pretty stable, they say, so they’re afraid to raise them to unwind that just to help mortgage rates come down, I guess.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. And so what you’re saying is those are pretty positive things regarding people being employed and inflation more under control. And I hadn’t used the word of the day yet, so I want to use that. And that’s prescient. It’s P-R-E-S-C-I-E-N-T. And I’m not sure that Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve Committee really are very prescient in knowing what’s going on. So the Definition is knowing or suggesting correctly what will happen in the future.
SPEAKER 16 :
It’s tough. We talk about this every month. Well, not every month, but eight times a year when they meet. And there are a lot of data points, and those data points could change. When they meet, they go off the most recent round of data. They could get something two weeks from now that says, you know, a lot of people have been laid off and all of a sudden they change and they jump and they drop rates. So it’s always interesting to see. Believe me, nobody wants rates to go down more than me. You know the reason we talk and what I do for a living. So the more I can help people lower their mortgage rates, the more I’d love to. But I have to try to understand why they’re doing it so that I can coach people as they try to make decisions on moving forward and when’s a good time to buy a home, when’s a good time to refinance, and what might be coming down the pike.

She’s the director of the military chapter at Children’s Health Defense, an author here at the Kim Monson Show. Pam, welcome to the show. Thank you for having me, Kim. And there’s a lot for us to talk about. But first thing, wanted to get your read on RFK Jr. removing all of the members of the CDC Advisory Committee. What’s your thoughts on that?
SPEAKER 05 :
Right. It’s a very bold move. We’ve never seen anything like this in the past 25 years or more. So the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, which I refer to as the ACIP, this is the committee which decides which vaccine should be recommended to the public on both the children’s immunization schedule and the adult schedule. If you weren’t aware, there is an adult schedule as well. And usually the CDC will just rubber stamp whatever this 17-member committee decides. of doctors and public health experts, whatever they recommend gets approved and put on this schedule. Well, for a couple of decades now, the investigations through Congress have shown that all of these people on this committee are heavily conflicted with the pharmaceutical companies. They either have worked for the pharmaceutical companies who develop these vaccines, or they go on after the vaccine is approved to big positions, executive positions, They’re rewarded for their vote, basically. And so Kennedy said all of these people are conflicted and we need to restore trust in the vaccine program. So we are removing all of these members and he is in process currently of replacing them with people who do not have these conflicts of interest with the pharmaceutical industry.
SPEAKER 07 :
So the Colorado legislature, the bureaucrats here in Colorado, maybe were anticipating this might happen, correct? And so they’re doing a, I have this in air quotes, workaround, yes? Yes.
SPEAKER 05 :
So because Kennedy delayed the ACIP meeting in March, that was a signal to all of our pharma shills here in Colorado that, who don’t respect parental choice, who don’t respect informed consent and just want to push every product, medical product and a medical agenda on the public. They amended a bill, HB 1027, which was all about CDPT taking control in any future crisis. Also alarming, the public is not largely aware of this, that CDPT will be running the show, not your elected officials. But they amended this bill to make it even more egregious. And said that no longer will we be following the guidelines, the recommendations of the ACIP committee, but we would be following these other organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, and the American College of Physicians. And that sounds very professional, and these are medical associations who supervise doctors under their accreditation. It sounds good on paper. However, these organizations are also under accreditation. incentives for vaccine uptake. And they are also under industry capture with board members who have conflicts of interest with pharmaceutical companies. So what you didn’t hear, that’s important to say too. What you didn’t hear with CDPHE, make a public statement to the public about the pervasive conflicts of interest in the vaccine program at every level from the federal government down to your local state board of health and county board of health. And you never will because because they need they are so financially incentivized to push vaccines. They they are just dishonest with the public of how corrupt this system is.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, and it’s you do a great job shedding light on this. And as you know, I’m serve as the president. of the Colorado Union of Taxpayers, which is an all-volunteer group that rates legislation. And Pam, you reached out to me during the legislative session and you said that this is a really good tool for people to have in their toolbox because we send an email out each week with a synopsis on the bills that we take positions on. And I know that you use the Colorado Union of Taxpayers information on a regular basis.
SPEAKER 05 :
I do. You can’t be an expert on all 700 bills, but you can use this as a tool for a couple of things. One, you can say, wow, maybe that’s an area that keeps me up at night. I need to engage on that topic of that bill. Or you can see, like my issue has been vaccine bills for the past 10, 11 years. And but I can see the same tactics being applied, coercion in other areas, whether, you know, you’ve talked about today, whether it’s land grabs and, you know, all sorts of other areas. You see the same type of corruption and you can help each other. You can reach out to other groups who are, you know, whatever their issue is and say, hey, you know, this is this is what’s going on. You need to be aware. And this is how you engage on this issue more effectively.
SPEAKER 07 :
Right. Well, and I wanted to say thank you to all of the board members of the Colorado Union of Taxpayers. They’re all volunteers. When you see them, say thank you. That’s Steve Dorman, Greg Galianski, Russ Haas, Bill Hamill, Rob Knuth, John Nelson, Wendy Warner, Marty Nielsen, Ramey Johnson, Mary Janssen. Dave Evans, Corey Ornzorg, Paula Beard, and Ray Beard. They are doing amazing work. And we did take a position on this particular bill that you’re talking about, Pam Long, House Bill 25-1027. And the name of it is Update Disease Control Statutes. And this is our position on it. We said the bill repeals the Governor’s Expert Emergency Epidemic Response Committee, which advises the governor during public health threats, but it assigns its responsibilities, as you mentioned, to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and makes several changes to student immunization requirements. While CUT supports the elimination of GEERC, it opposes the state’s continual meddling in children’s vaccines. Vaccinations are the responsibility of the parents, not the state. Schools may still expel students for lack of vaccinations, but no longer need to report these expulsions. And this legislation in assigning emergency responsibilities to CDPHE does not address the overstep of authority that we experienced during COVID in addressing future pandemics. And again, thank you to the team that did that research to come up with that statement. I think it’s a very important statement, Pam Long.
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, you guys nailed it. So remember, during the pandemic, CDPHE declared, you know, everyone is non-essential, your businesses, your schools, your churches. All we care about is killing this virus with an experimental vaccine, which we are going to coerce upon the public, which turned out not to prevent transmission or infection. So CDPHE is willing to burn down your business, burn down your school, burn down your mental health, prevent you from going to church, to sell their vaccines. So should they be taking more power? No. And their explanation for removing the governor’s epidemic committee is that, oh, it’s just too hard to get all these experts together. This is exactly the opposite of what we need. We need, especially with Zoom and all the ways we met online during COVID, that is a cop-out. We need more people at the table, not less people. We need people saying, like, look, you can’t burn down our economy and our children’s mental health and futures, you know, to sell your vaccine product.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, and not only when we say sell their vaccine product, government money was used to purchase the vaccine. And then when you have government force people to use a product, And so taxpayer money was used to buy the vaccine. The government force was or coercion was used to make people take the vaccine. That’s a pretty opposite from free markets capitalism.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, and you’re right. But in addition to that, there were heavy financial incentives for providers of every specialty, you know, not just immunologists, but pretty much any specialty. Like we’re talking about nowadays, you know, dentists and optometrists can push a vaccine on you. They have no knowledge of immunology. They were a heavy, like, We’re talking like three to 10 times what the product was worth during COVID for certain medical treatments, for drugs and vaccines. There was a heavy financial incentive on these doctors to push this vaccine. What is the most egregious was the push on pregnant women and infants and children. There were no safety trials and there never will be. We don’t include pregnant women and infants in children under 12 years of age in clinical trials for experimental drugs. And that’s an egregious violation of medical ethics to push this drug, the COVID vaccine, on those populations without any safety data. When people say, you know, follow the science, vaccines are based on science. That’s not science. That’s greed and corruption and financial incentives.
SPEAKER 07 :
And that’s also, I would call that cronyism to put a name on all of that. And our young people have been taught that capitalism, and capitalism is the free exchange of value for value. Cronyism is when government and big business get in bed with each other. And that is what we have seen with the pharmaceutical companies and government, particularly here in Colorado. We’re talking with Pam Long. And we’re going to come back and talk some more about a variety of things. Pam Long, we’re going to roll this out this weekend. And that is vaccine sales pitches, what your doctor won’t tell you. Where should we begin with this?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, I think the biggest confusion from the public that I hear year after year, especially during back to school time, which, you know, around August, is that parents are not told which vaccines are actually just recommended and not required. There’s some language. There’s intentionally vague with providers. So we have recommended vaccines. There’s a list of these, like the COVID-19 vaccine is recommended. It’s not required. Influenza is recommended, not required. And HPV, it’s recommended, not required. There’s a long list of these, and that means you don’t need an exemption for it. But your doctor might present it as, well, the tactic used usually is, You go in for an appointment with your child and or yourself and the doctor says, hey, you’re due for this vaccine. You’re not due for anything. These are your choices. But the wording is like an assumed fail. Like the doctor is telling you, you need it. You must get it. And not really differentiating like. I’m recommending it for you, but not based on your risk factors, just based on a schedule, right? Every 10 years, they want a booster of certain vaccines. But I’m encouraging people to really challenge this language. So there’s recommended, which means you don’t need an exemption for school. And then there’s required, which means you have a couple of options that probably won’t be presented to you, which are if you don’t want the vaccine, you can get an exemption. There’s a certificate of exemption. There’s both medical and non-medical, which is really the religious or philosophical exemption. And there’s an education module if you can’t get this form signed by a provider. Doctors will not sign these forms. They will not sign the medical exemption form and they will not sign the non-medical exemption form. Why? Because of the financial conflicts. They’re, you know, incentivized $400. a child to get fully vaccinated. They’re not going to sign the form and give up their financial incentives, and they need over 60% or more of their practice fully vaccinated. So most parents who want an exemption to what they call a required vaccine, they are using this education module that the health department has on their website, and after you complete it, it will print out a certificate of completion. Now, this vaccine education module will not tell you any serious injuries, disabilities, or deaths that have been associated with vaccines. It’s a very biased pro-vaccine education module. We call it the re-education module because it’s geared for parents who have done their homework, The risk benefit is not there for one or more vaccines for their child. Their child doesn’t have a risk for that illness, and they decide they want to opt out. So the health department created this education module for one last attempt to try to change your mind. And the research shows that these education modules do not change anyone’s mind. Once you do your own homework, you are going to make the best decision for your child. So that’s the confusion is the recommended versus required language is not presented accurately by providers and they don’t fully explain your exemption rights. They assume that you’re going to follow the schedule because that’s in their best interest, maybe not yours. And then there’s another thing that’s never talked about. by providers. It’s titers testing. Especially this is very prevalent with adults and nurses and healthcare that you will be required, let’s say, to take a hep B vaccine or something every 10 years for your job. You can go in and test your blood and see that you have immunity to whatever the required vaccine is for most of them. There’s been some recent changes with hepatitis B, but that you can say, I don’t need another booster. I’m immune. And that is never presented as an option to people as a valid exemption.
SPEAKER 07 :
So is Colorado, I many times say Colorado is at the tip of the spear as I look at many of these different issues that are being pushed by the globalists regarding control over our lives. Is Colorado at the tip of the spear and not in a good way on all of these forced vaccinations and lack of informed consent? Or is there any state that’s worse than us?
SPEAKER 05 :
Colorado is a testing ground state as far as legislation. Like for example, we are the first state that I know of because of my work through children’s health events and, and Maha that I talked to all the state leaders on these issues to, to change ACIP in statute to all these other organizations to try to, you know, work around the new ACIP that will have, you know, people with, without conflicts of interest. Oh my God. Oh my. Um, so, uh, We’re the first to do that. I expect other states to follow suit as well, whether it’s through legislation or rules at the health department. There’s some interesting liability that will play out in that that I won’t talk about today. But these people are not shielded from liability like like ASIP recommended vaccines. So yes, we are kind of at the tip of the spear. California and New York probably are worse than us as far as getting an exemption. And you see mass exodus of those people with families out of those states for those reasons. There’s been some significant lawsuits, one in New York. So I have a little bit of hope for New York. I right now don’t have a lot of hope for people seeking exemptions in California. So, you know, Colorado parents, we have a choice. We can stand up and fight. We can go the way of, you know, freedom or we can go the way of force. But I have said for a decade to Republicans, there will come a day where there will be a vaccine that you do not want. And lo and behold, what happened with COVID, you know, it was a really a wake up call for Republicans to say, wait a minute, I don’t want to be a rule follower anymore, because that’s essentially what this comes down to. Are you a rule follower? Do you have these people, have these institutions, have these organizations, have they earned your trust? Because if they have not earned your trust, if they have betrayed your trust, which there’s lots of evidence during COVID that, you know, the state health department betrayed our trust in many ways. not offering any existing therapeutics for people who are having severe cases of COVID to this day, have not published anything on how to mitigate COVID before it gets to severe fatal state. That’s malpractice. I mean, I can’t be more enraged about it. My dream would be to take over CDPHE and just revolutionize what health could be in this state. People do not need to be dying of COVID or respiratory illness in 2025 in a first-world nation. That is completely malpractice. And so we are dysfunctional maybe in the top three of all states, and it’s really going to take people to stop going along with institutions that have betrayed our trust.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay, Pam Long, question for you. With the reaction to COVID, there are those that said Trump, and I remember that it was such a weird time, and he had done the fast track on the vaccine, had been very pro-vaccine, and the people blame him a bit. I would say people on the informed consent side, the freedom side, have blamed him a bit for his reaction initially during COVID. What do you think about Trump and his progression to get to RFK Jr. as the Secretary of Health and Human Services?
SPEAKER 05 :
This is tough for conservatives, but we have a We have not held Trump accountable for he initiated the lockdowns. He put Fauci into position to for all the wrongdoing that Fauci did, promoting the vaccine and suppressing, you know, effective therapeutics like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. He I mean, he awarded, you know, Fauci with the big award. award at the end of his career um and there are many people in my camp that think fauci needs to be in prison right there were signals there were safety signals on the vaccine early on that were ignored and continue to not be presented to the public accurately how all the injuries, adverse reactions, and deaths associated with the COVID vaccine. And there has not been accountability for that. And Trump played a role in that. And I know that’s tough for people to swallow, you know, if you’re a conservative. But then, like you said, we have RFK in position now making drastic changes at Health and Human Services, good changes, but To prevent another COVID-like situation, mandating an experimental drug with coercive tactics, and I would say violating constitutional rights and religious freedoms, that there has been no accountability. And without accountability, people admitting wrongdoing, like the Secretary of Defense recently stating the COVID mandate was unlawful, then it can happen again.
SPEAKER 07 :
So the progression with Trump, I try to think back about what was going on at that time. As a business guy, I think he looked at it and said, hey, we’ve got a problem. Let’s fix it. Okay, like that. Or I understand that. I’ll say that. And we’ve got to go to experts. So you get in Fauci. He’s supposed to be the expert. I can see how that could happen as well. I think that they were really undercutting him, giving him – Bad information. But I think that the important point here is that we should not ever use government coercion or force to inject something in our body that we don’t want to. That’s the bottom line, right, Pam Long?
SPEAKER 05 :
And that is what our medical ethics require. They require informed voluntary consent. Our federal law under the FDA regulations says that you cannot, no entity, including the Department of Defense, a lot of people think that the Department of Defense, like if you work for the military, you have no rights. That’s not true. you still retain your constitutional rights. No one can mandate an experimental drug. And so this mandate was not only unlawful for the military, it was unlawful for the civilian sector as well. And you see lawsuits in health care and education and tech everywhere. multi-million dollar lawsuits that people are being awarded for violations of their, you know, religious discrimination. They asked for a religious exemption and they were denied. In reality, the law, we shouldn’t even have to file an exemption. We should just say, no, thank you. It’s an experimental drug. I can voluntarily refuse. And I pray all the time that And hope for in Colorado, those 5,290 healthcare workers who lost their jobs by the CDPG and Governor Polis, that there will be restitution for them one day. That was an unlawful mandate on healthcare workers.

Well, I’m listening to this. Back in the 60s, when the doctors gave me the medication that blinded me, and we went to court, and then they said, well, they signed the papers. Then from then on, they kept saying they had my parents believing that if they messed you up, they could fix you up. And then at the age of 19, I realized, no, they can’t, because I lost an eye, and they just kept doing these experimental operations. So I was just wondering if Kim knows that, okay, they give you this vaccine, they mess you up. Do they, in a devious way, say, well, we can fix you and give the parents that false hope so they can keep experimenting?
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay, and Johnny, just to clarify, you were given a medication when you were young that ultimately you became blind because of it, yes?
SPEAKER 15 :
Right. And they even did a spinal tap because it was for the test to see if you have any bad reactions. And I’m not sure how that seizure didn’t catch the fact that I was allergic to this medication.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. How old were you when this happened?
SPEAKER 15 :
Six years old.
SPEAKER 07 :
Six years old. Okay. Pam, I think that’s true, particularly in the 60s, this trust in the medical profession. Of course, it’s a little different animal back in the 60s than it is now, but I think that Johnny probably is right. His parents said, well, they trusted the medical profession and said, if they mess you up, they’ll fix you up. What’s your thoughts on that?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, with regarding vaccines, there’s no liability. So if you’re in, doctors will not tell you that when they’re pushing them on you, they don’t have that liability and they are shielded and so are the manufacturers. So if your child has an adverse reaction or a disability, or death you are completely responsible as the parents for their health care for their um you know loss of wages or loss of employment for you know their quality of life for the rest of their lives and that needs to be a part of the cost benefit decision on every vaccine and every drug parents need to be looking at neutral sources on this on these drugs where you know whether it’s a the FDA drug safety alerts, the vaccine adverse event reporting system, the National Vaccine Information Center. There’s neutral information out there which tells you what are the adverse reactions. It’s more than just pain and swelling at the injection site. People have disabilities and deaths and counter that against, does my child have a risk for this disease in the first world in 2025? How many incidents of diphtheria do we have in the United States? Is it 50 amongst millions? It’s very rare. We’re not conveying the full picture to provide informed consent to parents and they really need to seek outside sources than just the doctor or what I would call the vaccine salesman.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay, hold on here just a little bit. We’ve got Action Anne on the line. Action Anne, what’s on your radar?
SPEAKER 17 :
At the time we were vaccinating here, I found evidence that the Russians and the Chinese were not using mRNA. I want to know if you can address that and confirm that and anything on shedding.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay, Pam, good questions. Your thoughts?
SPEAKER 05 :
So, yes, the Chinese did not use mRNA technology, and that should be rightfully so, a red flag. mRNA technology has been problematic for decades, and it is… Still, there’s a lot of risk to mRNA technology that the public has not been made aware of. And as far as shedding, there’s no way I can cover that topic in a minute. But basically, it’s where live viruses and certain vaccines. you’re actually shedding that virus to other people who might be at risk. You know, you’re actually become a carrier of the illness you were told you were being protected from.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. Maybe we’ll have to do, I think, another show on that. The mRNA, was that the COVID vaccine? Is that the technology for the COVID vaccine? In the United States.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yes. In the United States, there are two major brands of an mRNA vaccine. But in China, they did not use any of the mRNA formulations.
SPEAKER 07 :
Interesting. Very interesting. Okay, Pam, we’ll be rolling out your piece, vaccine sales pitches, what your doctor won’t tell you this weekend. How would you like to button this conversation up?
SPEAKER 05 :
I would just advise parents to go look at neutral information before they head to a doctor’s office where they will be told, you’re getting these maybe six shots today. Some of them are three in one, and it will be heavy-handed. And sometimes doctors threaten to dismiss you from the practice. There are… Plenty of other good doctors out there. So don’t feel pressured to make a decision. Take your time. Do your homework. The tide is turning. I would also add that HHS, Health and Human Services, tweeted out this month a policy statement against transgender care.
SPEAKER 07 :
The tide is turning back to, you know, transparency and science. Well, and that is really important. And we do have a minute left, too. I just wanted to ask you about Jenna Griswold taking down the Tracer report. You and I both agree that transparency is a good idea. I also think that your money is freedom of speech. So I am a little bit conflicted on that. But the fact that she took it down, I think that’s been a tool you and I both have used on a regular basis to see where the money goes.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yes, this is a huge danger, danger issue. We need pressure on her to put the website back up. So what what the concern is, is with the assassination of two lawmakers in Minnesota based on their vote to repeal health care benefits for illegal immigrants. is that our lawmakers here, elected people, candidates, would be targeted in such a way. There’s an easy fix to this. You remove their address from the public viewing on Tracer. It’s a field. Address is one of the categories. You remove it. Most of them are using a registered agent, an appeal box, not their home address. You can either have the database manager remove it from the public viewing, or you can tell all the candidates and elected people in Tracer to remove it themselves or change it to their non-home address. Taking it down, this was not a valid reason to take down Tracer. This was, let’s take advantage of a horrific tragedy and remove transparency.
SPEAKER 07 :
I did really like having the addresses of the contributors there. I think that should stay there, yes?
SPEAKER 05 :
I don’t know if we need addresses. I mean, we need their names. We need maybe their websites if they’re big organizations and impacts and things. But, I mean, I would be very weary of putting my address in Tracer for all the work, my home address. You can put a business address or a PO box. I think it’s an easy fix. It didn’t require taking down tracer indefinitely.
