In a riveting discussion about the New York City mayoral race, Mike Gallagher sits down with Dov Hikind to unpack the consequences of Zoran Mamdani’s surprising primary win. Addressing concerns from various political spectrums, they explore what’s at stake and the urgent need for unity amongst conservative candidates. Hikind provides a strategic roadmap to counter Mamdani’s radical platform, urging broader participation in the democratic process and emphasizing the importance of unified opposition leading into the general election.
SPEAKER 03 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 02 :
It astounds me how different. The second Trump term is from the first one. I think it’s because President Trump sort of got his sea legs. I think he got kind of – he knows where all the bodies are buried now. He knows sort of how to maneuver with the jackals of the news media. This leak to CNN that supposedly – confirmed that our strike on the Iranian nuclear sites really wasn’t all that successful. We just kind of clipped them. We didn’t set them back. I mean, they’re ready to go. They’re going to be able to have a nuke next week because, you know, Trump’s mission was so botched. Uh-uh. Nope. Daddy ain’t playing anymore. And they’re not going to pussyfoot around. There’s now… Now that it’s coming out that even the Iranians are confirming that the nuclear sites were obliterated. And look, there’s still maybe the fog of a little bit of lack of clarity, but we’re going to find out. But here’s what’s going to happen. There’s going to be a full-fledged investigation. That leak is illegal. It is against the law. And they’re going to find the leaker and they’re going to, They’re going to prosecute. Earlier today, Pete Hegseth held a press conference at the Pentagon and sort of set the record straight in a big way.
SPEAKER 08 :
Fake news, CNN, MSNBC, or the New York Times. There’s been fawning coverage of a preliminary assessment. I haven’t had a chance to read it. Every outlet has breathlessly reported on a preliminary assessment from DIA. I’m looking at it right now. Again, it was preliminary, a day and a half after the actual strike. When it admits itself in writing that it requires weeks to accumulate the necessary data to make such an assessment, it’s preliminary. It points out that it’s not been coordinated with the intelligence community at all. There’s low confidence in this particular report. It says in the report there are gaps in the information. It says in the report multiple linchpin assumptions are what this assessment. A linchpin assumption, you know what that is? That means your entire premise is predicated on a linchpin. If you’re wrong, everything else is wrong. And yet, still, this report acknowledges it’s likely severe damage. Again, this is preliminary, but leaked because someone had an agenda to try to muddy the waters and make it look like this historic strike wasn’t successful.
SPEAKER 02 :
Any chance they can to try to disparage this administration, the deep state is going to try. Hegseth went on to tout the unprecedented success of Operation Midnight Hammer.
SPEAKER 08 :
Those that understand, those that see, those that do proper assessments recognize that what the United States military did was historic. And again, before I pass it to the chairman. Because you, and I mean specifically you, the press, specifically you, the press corps, because you cheer against Trump so hard. It’s in your DNA and in your blood to cheer against Trump because you want him not to be successful so bad. You have to cheer against the efficacy of these strikes. You have to hope maybe they weren’t effective. Maybe the way the Trump administration has represented him isn’t true. So let’s take half-truths, spun information, leaked information, and then spin it. Spin it in every way we can to try to cause doubt, and manipulate the public mind over whether or not our brave pilots were successful. How many stories have been written about how hard it is to, I don’t know, fly a plane for 36 hours? Has MSNBC done that story? Has Fox? Have we done the story how hard that is? Have we done it two or three times so that American people understand how about how difficult it is to shoot a drone from an F-15 or 16 or F-22 or F-35? Or what it’s like to man a Patriot battery? Or how hard it is to refuel midair? Giving the American people an understanding of how complex and sophisticated this mission really was. There are so many aspects of what our brave men and women did that, because of the hatred of this press corps, are undermined because people are trying to leak and spin that it wasn’t successful. It’s irresponsible.
SPEAKER 02 :
I ask you a question. What do you think would be happening right now in the media if the Iranian strikes had been conducted by a Democrat administration? If Barack Obama’s administration or even Joe Biden’s administration or a Kamala Harris administration had pulled off Operation Midnight Hammer, you know how different the media coverage would be. You know it instinctively. You know it in your heart. They’re not going to praise this president. Some of them are reluctantly giving him credit, but only a little bit. And Secretary Hegseth went on to lay it out in terms of giving credit where credit is due.
SPEAKER 08 :
The bottom line here, President Trump directed the most complex and secretive military operation in history. And it was a resounding success, resulting in a ceasefire agreement and the end of the 12 day war. There’s been a lot of discussion about what happened and what didn’t happen. Step back for a second. Because of decisive military action, President Trump created the conditions to end the war. Decimating, choose your word, obliterating, destroying Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
SPEAKER 02 :
There’s the money cut right there. That’s the money clip. That’s the truth. And we’ve just got to try to ignore the noise. We’ve got to stay focused. We’ve got to accept the victories. Did you see the stock market yesterday? Soaring to record highs. The economy is… Good things are coming. Good things continue to happen, both domestically and overseas. We are in the golden era. And Pete Hegseth’s smackdown of CNN and MSNBC was magnificent. Florida writes a text saying, Hegseth was great. Sad to say it went in one ear and out the other. They suffer from Trump derangement syndrome. They’re going to continue with their agenda. But it gives me such pride to see God-fearing, country-loving adults in charge. Isn’t that right? Aren’t you glad that grown-ups are in charge now? How different things would be right now if we were facing Kamala Harris now. In the White House. Welcome in. It’s a Thursday. Final Thursday of the month, in fact. Wow. June flew by, huh? We’re in the Relief Factor studios. In time for another hour of the Mike Gallagher Show. 800-655-MIKE. If you’d like to join us, as always, we want to put your voice front and center. You tell me. what the media would be doing if a Democrat had pulled off Operation Midnight Hammer. Am I wrong? 800-655-6453. I hope you join us. Ph.D. weight loss has changed my life, and I’ve got a little secret for you. You know Big Pharma and semaglutide and the shots in the belly. You’ve seen the story recently about the study that shows that a lot of people that are getting this are going blind. You don’t want to do this. You want a program to lose weight that’s centered around science and nutrition, a proven roadmap that has helped over 8,000 clients lose weight and keep it off, like me. I lost 53 pounds a few years ago, and I’ve kept it off. I know what to eat and when. I know how to quiet any of the cravings I might get and finally release that unhealthy belly fat that I carried along for so long. Make the phone call that can change your life in the way it changed mine. It’s called PhD Weight Loss. PhD Weight Loss, Dr. Ashley Lucas’ program is brilliant. And how do I know? Well, 53 pounds later, here I am. 864-644-1900 is their number. Call and schedule your consultation. You can do this program from anywhere in America. Call 864-644-1900, 864-644-1900, or visit MyPhDWeightLoss.com. Live look at the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where, of course, we’re heard on AM 990, The Answer. If you’re watching on Salem News Channel, you’re seeing a beautiful shot of Philly. In fact, got a text message from Philly regarding the Iranian missile strike. The Democrats would have created a national holiday by now. It’s true. If this was done by… Barack Obama or Joe Biden or Kamala or Hillary or any of the Democrats, we’d have a national holiday declared. It would be Operation Midnight Hammer Day. I mean, it’s just – and what’s weird is as the Trump administration is fighting back against this CNN leak, and they will, and there’s no question in my mind that they’re going to find out who did it, I hate the infighting on our side. Look, I think of Fox News Channel. I know people get fired up about it, but I think of them as one of them. I watch Fox a lot. I’ve got a lot of friends over there. I worked there for a number of years as a contributor. And I still have a lot of great memories of my time there. And I’m saddened when I see people beat up on Fox. But then again, I mean, everybody’s fair game, even, I guess, Jennifer Griffin. Jennifer Griffin is the correspondent, the war correspondent, if you will. She’s the Pentagon reporter. And Pete Hegseth… apparently even called her out at this press conference earlier today. Here’s what he said.
SPEAKER 05 :
certainty that all the highly enriched uranium was inside the four dome mountain or some of it because there were satellite photos that showed more than a dozen trucks there two days in advance are you certain none of that highly enriched uranium was moved of course we’re watching every single aspect but jennifer you’ve been about the worst the the one who misrepresents the most intentionally what what the president says i’m familiar I heard about the ventilation shafts on Saturday night. And, in fact, I was the first to describe the B-2 bombers, the refueling, the entire mission with great accuracy. So I take issue with that.
SPEAKER 08 :
I appreciate you acknowledging that this was the most successful mission based on operational security that this department has done since you’ve been here. I appreciate that. So we’re looking at all aspects of intelligence and making sure we have a sense of what was where.
SPEAKER 02 :
She got fired up. She didn’t like being called out by the defense secretary. See, it’s like there’s a new sheriff in town. It’s different now. They’re not going to roll over for anybody, including Fox News. And obviously, Pete Hegseth has some issue with Jennifer Griffith’s reporting. But, man, watching people go… Are you following Mark Levin and Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon and Marjorie Taylor Greene? Gosh, they are going at it like fighters in a cage match. And I admit I’m not comfortable. I just don’t like it. Maybe you do. Are you on board with the way… Look, this is coming down to, I guess… And I want to say this without criticizing these people because I like them all. I don’t want to criticize Steve Bannon. I don’t want to criticize Marjorie Taylor Greene. I admit that I tend to fall down on the side of Mark Levin’s position. That what Trump is doing is just and righteous. What we’ve done with Iran is important. We cannot let them possess a nuclear weapon with which they would use it to obliterate Israel. Mark is right. But I look at social media, I see all this pushback where people are going after Mark. You’re in Israel’s pocket. You’re just a neocon. Isn’t there a way we can kind of have a debate or a discussion about our role in this Israel-Iran war without it going like DEFCON 1 right for the jugular? At one point, Mark Levin accused Marjorie Taylor Greene of crawling out from under her rock. I mean, and it goes downhill from there. And I admit it. I hate this. I don’t like that. I consider these people… All of us are aiming for a common goal here. And I do not… I just don’t like it at all. Maybe you do. I get that we’re in a social media era where people love the back and forth and the edgier the better and you want clicks and you want, but my gosh, some of it is just sort of wildly overboard, it seems to me. I mean, but look, and there’s Pete Hegseth just decimating Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin calling her about the worst in misrepresenting information on the strikes. If you watch the clip on Salem News Channel as we played it from Fox News, you saw her kind of jump. But this infighting, to me, is what’s wrong with our side. We can do better, and we should do better. In fact, Michigan just texted me on the MyPillow text line, this is a prime example of the Republicans’ Achilles heel. This is our downfall. And if we’re going to beat Zoran Mamdani in New York, if we’re going to beat the legacy media, if we’re going to beat the naysayers and the critics, we’ve got to be unified. And for Mark Levin and Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Greene and all the rest of them to try to take their heads off, that isn’t going to work. We’re doomed to fail. Is it too much to ask to be unified, do you think? Or am I just living in a pipe dream here? It’s petty. It’s embarrassing. It’s tacky. Knock it off. There’s a greater good here. Tell me what you think, if you think I’m wrong or not. 800-655-MIKE. Portions of our show brought to you by MyPillow and Big Deal. Two sales in one. The Mike Gallagher Show on Salem News Channel and the Salem Radio Network.
SPEAKER 07 :
They’re the ones that are acting most theatrical because they fear that they are the next target. So right now, the Democratic Party has become an orgy of appeasement. It’s led by awfuls of fluent white liberal females. It happened with BLM and all the protests. There’s all these crazy white ladies. That’s the problem with the party.
SPEAKER 03 :
In the ReliefFactor.com studios, here’s Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 02 :
A lot of emphasis right now on the crazy, rich, liberal females who are making decisions like this that led to this disastrous Democrat primary victor, Mamdani. And Greg Gutfeld is right. A lot of these people that voted for the guy When New York goes to hell in a handbasket, they’re the ones who will be able to afford moving out at the drop of a hat, where hardworking middle-class New Yorkers are going to be trapped. They’re going to be completely stuck, which is pretty fascinating. Somebody just told me they heard Mark Levin last night say on his show that he wasn’t going to say anything more about Marjorie Taylor Greene. And that’s a great, great response. Marjorie Taylor Greene believes that we have no business bombing Iran. She says, I don’t know anyone in America who’s been the victim of a crime or killed by Iran, but I know many people who’ve been victims of crime committed by criminal illegal aliens or murdered by cartel and Chinese fentanyl drugs. neocon warmongers beat their drums of war and act like billy badasses going to war in countries most americans have never seen and can’t find on a map but never find the courage to go to war against the actual terrorists who actually do kill americans invade our land and make billions doing it day after day year after year i’m 51 she says i’m gen x I’ve watched our country go to war in foreign lands for foreign causes on behalf of foreign interests for as long as I can remember. I’m sick of it. I’m sick of funding foreign aid in foreign countries and foreign everything. I want to fund American interests and American issues. I want low inflation, low interest rates. I want American construction, housing, manufacturing to boom. It pisses me off, she writes… beyond comprehension that my children’s generation cannot afford to buy a house, cannot afford insurance, and have little hope for their future. Americans are exhausted by all of this, and rightfully so. She says, I can also support President Trump and his great administration on many of the great things they’re doing while disagreeing on bombing Iran and getting involved in a hot war that Israel started. The bottom line here is that’s a point of view that millions of Americans hold. That’s okay. But here’s the great one, and I mean that. He’s great. Mark Levin’s response. Marjorie Taylor Greene, shameless nitwit. How incredibly dumb is this Marjorie Taylor Greene? She doesn’t know anyone in America has been a victim of crime. Or killed by Iran? You mean the thousands of Americans, especially military personnel, killed in Maine by the Iranian terrorist regime? Well, that’s not wrong either. That’s true. She writes back, I also don’t know anyone who watches your show on Fox News. And then Mark wrote, MTG, God, are you stupid? And you keep banging your head against the wall. Thankfully, POTUS ignored you and hit the Iranian nuclear sites. You seem very upset about it. I’m not going away. You’re on my radar. And then Marjorie Taylor Greene, as if she sort of had enough, said, this is sick and disturbing. Mark, you have the exact same tone and language that the psychopaths use that send me death threats every single day. You should be fired from Fox News. Let me introduce you to my friend Jesus. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God. Look, good people of faith, people of good faith, I should say, can have a disagreement as to what our role should be in Iran. And I don’t think that somebody ought to obliterate Marjorie Taylor Greene by calling her a bunch of names because she doesn’t want us involved in this war between Israel and Iran. I also don’t think Mark Levin should be called a bunch of names because he believes strongly that Israel is our ally, that Iran has promised to obliterate Israel and the United States. They mean death to America when they say it. They believe it. I was in Israel after October 7th. I saw with my own eyes what these monsters did, and they would do it to us if they had the opportunity to do so. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. I believe that with all of my heart. Yet I respect… an opposing point of view, like Marjorie Taylor Greene’s. And this kind of back and forth and this name-calling and this division within our side, among our side, is why we lose. It’s why we lose. It’s why we fall on our faces. And we’ve got to stop it. And I hope it’s true. If the texter is right that Mark last night said sort of a truce, I hope that ultimately sanity and some civility prevails. Now, maybe you don’t see it that way. And I want to find out. I want to throw the phones open to you. 800-655-MIKE. I want you to tell me if you like this sort of back and forth between people on the same side. And maybe the bigger question is, why do people do it? These are not dumb people. Tucker Carlson, Mark Levin, these are smart guys. Is it ego? Is it pride? Is it one-upsmanship? What leads them to go into this sort of hysterical mode of name-calling and personal attacks. It’s a bad look. But more than just being sort of a tacky bad look, it hurts this country. It hurts our side. And we’ve got to win. We’ve got to win. We’ve got to beat our opposition. And we’re not going to beat our opposition that way. 800-655-MIKE. Let me turn it over to you. I’ve got a lot on my mind today, and I just want to kind of get your assessment of this infighting between conservatives and Republicans who have a disagreement about our role in Iran. Who do you side with? Who do you believe is right? Who’s wrong? 800-655-MIKE. Join us. Call, text, one number does it all.

SPEAKER 03 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 02 :
We’re having a very good week for the most part. Big victory today for the pro-life movement as the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the state of South Carolina ruling against Planned Parenthood. The court ruled that South Carolina and other states can legally block Planned Parenthood facilities from getting Medicaid funding because in South Carolina they want to protect the unborn, not protect. devote federal funding to abortions, which is what Planned Parenthood has expected. Also this morning, Pete Hegseth, holding a press conference and laying out the evidence that the damage to the Iranian nuclear facilities was extensive, was devastating, it obliterated it, and now the Pentagon and the FBI have begun an investigation on who leaked the preliminary evidence report that seemed to refute the devastation of that. But speaking of devastating, there was a shocker of a primary in New York City. And most of us kept telling ourselves there’s no way a radical extremist that kind of makes other radical extremists look mild by comparison could win the Democrat primary in New York. But he did. His name is Zoran Mamdani. And the reverberations are being felt throughout the Republican and the Democrat parties. Democrats are panicking. Wall Street is panicking. Entrepreneurs, business owners, all throughout the five boroughs are panicking because this guy is, in a word, nuts. Free buses, homeless shelters, and subway stations. globalized the Intifada. This guy’s got quite the track record. And I immediately thought when I saw that he was going to win, I kept thinking about New York’s Jewish community. What must it feel like to be a Jew in New York and know that your fellow New Yorkers would cast a ballot for such a man to run the greatest city in the country? I mean, it’s beyond shocking. And I wanted to reach out to a longtime friend of the show. Dov Heikin is a former Democrat New York State Assemblyman. He represented Brooklyn’s Assembly District 48 for decades, 35 years. He’s the founder of Americans Against Antisemitism. I know, my friend Dov Heikin, you are as sickened and shocked and as disgusted as the rest of us. But I wanted to get your very… unique perspective and a position of clarity over the voters pulling the lever for this guy. First of all, welcome back. It’s good to see you.
SPEAKER 04 :
Always good to see you, Mike. Look, I’m not sure that I was shocked because I saw it coming. You had this guy, Mamdani, very dangerous, as you described, even much worse than anything you said. And, you know, you didn’t really have a… candidate in the Democratic Party to really oppose someone like this. He is not just dangerous in terms of his positions. He cannot be underestimated for November that he could possibly become the next mayor with the danger to the Jewish community. But it really is about every single New Yorker who wants New York to survive in And this guy can really bring New York down into the dumps. You know, I mean, there are people talking about moving out of New York. There are people on Wall Street talking about taking their family and moving somewhere else. This is a very serious situation. There’s no need to panic. There’s a need to organize, figure out which candidate, one candidate opposing him in November can beat him. He can be beaten and he will be beaten.
SPEAKER 02 :
And I want to get to that in a moment because I want to get your thoughts on the idea of coalescing behind one candidate to challenge him. And to your point about moving out of New York, I just talked minutes ago to my real estate agent. You should hear what realtors are going through here in Florida. The phones are blowing up. They are getting absolutely a barrage of urgent inquiries about properties that are available online. all throughout the state of Florida. It’s happened, I think, all over. There’s going to be a mass exodus because you’re right, there’s panic right now, but it’s not time to panic yet. I want to share with you, before we talk about who you like, it looks like it’s down to three men, one of three people who need to represent the common sense in this crazy, crazy cycle in New York City’s history. Mark Thiessen is a columnist and a conservative voice, and he wrote, When he lost the Democrat primary, Ed Koch was asked if he would ever run again. And his famous answer was, no, the people have spoken and they must be punished. That’s how I feel, Mark Thiessen says, about New York City right now. You put this pro-terrorist communist in Gracie Mansion, and you deserve everything you get. Dove, I’ll bet you can appreciate that many, many people feel exactly that way. That, look, you made this bed, New Yorkers. Now you better be prepared to lie in it. What do you say to that?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, I totally understand that. I mean, it makes sense. Nobody forced Mamdani on the people of New York in the Democratic primary. Choices were made. But, you know, the bet is not yet made. We still have an opportunity to make sure this guy does not reach Gracie Manchin and he does not become the mayor of New York. But it will take, in some way, that the people who are running for office, you know, Look, I spent 36 years in the legislature. I know politics. I know politicians. Everybody thinks they can always win. So you have all the candidates running now. You still have Cuomo in the race and you still have, you know, Adams in the race. And of course, Curtis Lee was a Republican candidate. If all of them stay in the race, then Mamdani will win. There’s no question about it. So I am taking a close look at this. Spoke to Curtis yesterday, speaking to others. We need to coalesce behind one candidate, and then we win the election in November with a lot of hard work. But you can’t have all these candidates running. It cannot be. Or we hand the city to the radical… terrorists. You know, we’re talking about people who support terrorism. And Mike, I want to point out something else. First of all, it’s so good to see you, I got to tell you, to be with you. But look at what’s happening, Mike, right, as you and I speak. Look at people like the protector of the Jewish people. You know who that is, Chuck Schumer. Schumer has always claimed to be the protector of the Jewish people, Jerry Nadler, congressman. You know, You know, they both jumped yesterday. I know. They jumped to endorse Mamdani. I know. I know.
SPEAKER 02 :
Can you believe this? No. It is so pathetic. It takes your breath away, Dov, because when you’ve got a guy, globalize the intifada. When you’ve got a guy, I mean, this is, this is. From the river to the sea. Dov. Everything. We can all jump. We can all have policy disagreements. I don’t mind policy. I like those. I appreciate those. I’ve got a lot of friends in my life who are Democrats who don’t see the world the way I do. But you’re crossing a line when you’ve got a guy who justifies intifada, when you’ve got a guy, like you said, Dov, this is a dangerous person. And to have him behind the desk… of arguably one of the most complicated, economically difficult cities in the world. It’s the media capital. It’s the financial capital of the world. That guy in Gracie, of course, I don’t know if he’ll want to go to Gracie Mansion, because, I mean, look, I know he’ll give up all of his police protection, right? He won’t need police protection since he wants to defund the police. I mean, he’s going to kind of be on his own, isn’t he?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. Look, New Yorkers, you put it perfectly. We don’t have to agree. We can disagree and we can disagree in a very strong way. That’s fine. But now we’re at a crossroads here in New York. It’s not about disagreeing with someone. It’s about a radical individual who supports democracy. Groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah, etc., etc. We are talking about that. It’s hard to believe. But his record is there. Everyone knows. Everyone gets it. Everyone understands. What he is selling is just ridiculous. I mean, look, it’s wonderful. Everything is for free. You don’t have to pay for anything. Sure. Except one problem. One problem. Someone has to pay for it.
SPEAKER 02 :
Somebody’s paying for it. There’s not a free and fast bus ferry that’s going to pay for the free and fast. By the way, I love the part that the buses aren’t only free, but they’re going to be faster. I don’t know how that’s going to pull that off, but he’s got free. And they just take these phrases and they just regurgitate them as if they’re not. This is insanity, Dov. But, Mike, people buy it. A lot of people buy it. But not enough. But not enough. Wait a minute. I want to play something for you. Dove Hyken is our guest, a great, great friend of the show and American politician, activist, talk show host. You can follow him on X at Hyken Dove, H-I-K-I-N-D-D-O-V. Let me play a clip of just an average New Yorker. This is a woman who took to X, a platform that I’m really liking these days. And I want to share with you what she said, and I want to get your response to it because you’re right. This is why we shouldn’t panic.
SPEAKER 09 :
I’m just as devastated about what happened with the New York City election yesterday as you are. But this is not over. Only 430,000 people voted for Mamdani and only 900,000 voted total. Remember, it was ranked choice voting. So this means that such a small percentage, 9% of the voting population in New York City voted for Mamdani. So in the general election, which will include independents, Republicans, and Democrats voting, we will wipe this guy out. We all have to rally behind one person. It’s too early to say who that person is, but this is not over. Do not lose hope. We need way more of you to mobilize next time.
SPEAKER 02 :
Dove Hyken, she’s right, isn’t she?
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, boy, she’s so on target. And I I love what she said. Some people are jumping to one candidate, another candidate. Everyone take a deep breath. You know, we got the weekend coming up. Relax. Think about it. Let’s make sure we get the right guy. And it’s not about whether I love this. This one or that one. I love everything about that person. No, no. In November, I am begging and pleading to every single person who can vote in New York and the five boroughs. Please forget for a few moments whether you are a Democrat, Republican or anything else. You are an American. You are a New Yorker. And we need to be united on one single item. And that is we cannot permit New York. to become Gaza, for God’s sake. I’m not kidding. Electing this guy. I mean, who, by the way, who celebrates his victory? Among those celebrating are enemies of America, enemies of the Jewish people. So please, everybody, be a Democrat, be a Republican. But in November, you got to come together and defeat this radical Islamist, who is dangerous to the well-being of every single New Yorker. New York goes down the drain of God forbid. And it ain’t going to happen. Mike, it’s not going to happen.
SPEAKER 02 :
We need to work together. We’ve all got to work hard. And there are reports now that Cuomo is not going to continue the campaign. He’s not going to continue as an independent. So if he’s out, it very likely is going to come down to Eric Adams, the current mayor, who’s running for re-election as an independent, because the Democrats basically kicked him out because he sided with the Trump administration with illegal immigration. They have a crisis in New York, and he knows it. It comes down to Eric Adams or my friend Curtis Lewa, the Republican nominee. Of the two of them, Dov, who do you like?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I’m not going to say anything about that because I’m literally talking to everyone. I spoke to Curtis yesterday, speaking to others in the Adams administration. I like Curtis. That’s not even a question about that. So I want to do what’s best for everyone. And you know something, Mike? I want to win in November. Amen. More important than anything, I’m ready to hold my nose. I’m ready to whatever. But we need to win in November to defeat this radical Mandani who will destroy New York. I’m not just saying that.
SPEAKER 02 :
No, that’s not hyperbole. New York is done. You’re right. Dove Hyken, come back and see us again soon. We always appreciate your clarity, your wisdom. Keep fighting the good fight, my friend. Have a great weekend coming up, and Mike, it’s always a pleasure to see you. Thank you. The Great Dove Hike. And joining us here on the Mike Gallagher Show, more coming up.
