This wasn’t over 10 years. This was $1 trillion because we asked him. I made sure the question was asked very specifically. And he said it over and over again, $1 trillion. And at the end of the day, I don’t know, folks. I know some of you fanboys said we got 160, but we haven’t seen the $160 billion. What we do is have a $9 billion decision, and all of that is programmatic. I haven’t seen anything specifically fraud and abuse put forward from the Pentagon or anywhere.

As soon as I saw the electoral victory of Zoran Mamdani, there was one man I wanted to talk to. John Katsimatidis is a real American success story. He’s a billionaire businessman. He believes it’s a serious problem. And what we have to do, you know, you know what I’ve been saying all along. Now, I was in Havana in the 1990s when Castro was in charge. I think this guy wants to be the next Fidel Castro.

I went to, me and Charlie Rangel went to one of the medical schools, and I found five from my high school, Brooklyn Tech High School, and I asked them, oh, great, I see you here, because they get a medical license that’s good in almost every country except the United States at that time. And I said, what can we do to help you? They said, send food. There is no food. The people are starving to death. And the same thing happened in Venezuela. Venezuela was the wealthiest country in South America, the wealthiest. And these socialists took over. What was his name? I don’t remember it, from Venezuela. Maduro. He promised everything. And guess what? Venezuela is not the poorest country. Now, our country, Mike, is under attack. It’s under attack in so many ways. And the American people, I don’t care if you’re a Democrat, I don’t care if you’re a Republican, you have to recognize that our country is under attack. From the borders.

I’ve known Curtis Lewa for years. He’s the Republican nominee. The conventional wisdom is that there’s just no way New Yorkers are ready to elect Curtis. A lot of people will argue that point, but Eric Adams is the independent, even though he’s a lifelong Democrat. How do you see this playing out, John? How do you stop Zoran Mamdani?

I’ll give you my analysis. Curtis is part of our family. He worked for AM 970, The Answer, and he worked for WABC for 30 years, and he’s part of our family. But we have to look at what’s best for the city and who’s going to win. And Andrew Cuomo, the problem is he’s got a lot of baggage in New York City, New York State. I said to Andrew Cuomo, why don’t you run for president? I mean, the other 49 states, you don’t have that baggage that you have in New York State. Now, Eric Adams. President Trump has given them Tom Holman. And guess what? Our city is safer because the criminals are hiding. Mike Gallagher, the criminals are hiding because they know when Tom Holman gets them, it’s go directly to Guantanamo, do not pass go, do not collect $200. OK, so right now, New York City is it’s ever been in the last few months safer. And if President Trump is the president for the next three and a half years and Eric Adams is the mayor, then I think President Eric Adams is cooperating with President Trump.

And I’m telling you what, I mean, this must be a mixed message for you because I’ll bet there are people who would love to live in a building like 400 Central in downtown St. Pete who are New Yorkers who want to flee New York because you’ve got a love affair with St. Pete because of your family history there. But may I say that this building, which is now completed… Oh, my gosh. John, I can’t wait. And that building is one of the most spectacular high-rise condos I’ve ever seen in my life. And I’ve lived in high-rise buildings my whole life, especially in New York. 400 Central is the absolute showpiece of downtown St. Pete. You’ve got to be so proud of this building that you’ve built in downtown St. Pete. When are people going to start moving in?

There is some good news, and that’s good news because most people traveling right now are traveling by road. Gas prices, $3.18 a gallon right now. That’s the national average for regular unleaded. Last year, that was $3.49 a gallon, so significantly lower. So some good news if you’re hitting the road.

That’s from ABC. That’s not Newsmax. That wasn’t from Fox News. That’s ABC’s Good Morning America. Gas prices at record lows. Our economy has an opportunity to soar like an eagle. But do not, do not take your eye off the ball. This big beautiful bill has to pass. Here’s a text from Tampa, Florida. Elon is certainly a legendary entrepreneur. He’s great on free speech. He saved Twitter. But otherwise, what principled conservative view has he ever held? He does great things for human advancement, but politically, he’s just become the opposition. Time for us to process that. And I think Tampa is right. You’ve got to process this. You’ve got to understand what’s at stake here. And whether it’s a rhino like Tom Tillis getting drummed out of the Senate for his opposition… where people who have platforms, who are sitting on the sidelines, they don’t have to legislate. They can sit on the sidelines. And look, we’re all just big mouths with talk shows. We’re not in the trenches having to legislate and figure out how to wrangle Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski and get people on board who otherwise are going to fight. They’re going to fight because they’re trying to block Trump’s agenda. And Trump has to outsmart them. And the Republicans, led by John Thune, has to outsmart the RINO senators. And then it’s going to go back to the House. And then they’ve got to outsmart the RINOs there, too. And there are plenty. Look, you’ve got your Thomas Massys. You’ve got your folks who are going to be entrenched against Trump’s agenda getting through. And what’s tricky about it, as I say over and over again, their principled opposition to deficit spending is correct. Where they’re wrong is it ain’t going to get fixed now. And we’ve got to count on the long-term gains of our economy overtaking the deficit spending increases. Trust Trump. Trust the guy. Period. And it just annoys me to watch people decide to be armchair quarterbacks and tell Trump you don’t care about his agenda. Look, you’re either right. Do you see it that way? Do you see what I mean? Do you know what I mean about you have to pick a side? Take a stand. Are you MAGA or aren’t you? Are you a Trump supporter or not? And this isn’t about being sycophantic. This is about wanting your country to win. This is about wanting America to be great again. This is about the economy soaring, thriving, tax cuts for everybody, tax relief for millions and millions of Americans, getting rid of the fraud. If you’re able-bodied with no kids, you don’t deserve to be on Medicaid. You’ve got to go out and get a job. Nobody’s trying to rip sick people off of assistance. But we’ve got to take accountability. You want to get rid of waste, fraud, and abuse? Well, they’re trying. Don’t get in the way. Lead follower, get out of the way.
