So we’re going to do the following. The European Union is going to agree to purchase from the United States $750 billion worth of energy. $750 billion worth of energy. They are going to agree to invest into the United States, $600 billion more than they’re investing already. So they’re investing a large amount of money. You know what that amount of money is. It’s very substantial, but they’re gonna invest an additional $600 billion. They’re agreeing to open up their countries to trade at zero tariff. So that’s a very big factor. Opening up their countries. All of the countries will be opened up to trade with the United States at zero tariff. And they’re agreeing to purchase a vast amount of military equipment. We don’t know what that number is, but it’s the good news is we make the best military equipment in the world. So sort of you have to do that until somebody tops us, which is not going to happen. We’re way ahead.

So it looks like now it’s official. It was announced today, according, well, you can judge, I think, on what the United States gets out of it by the weeping and gnashing of France’s teeth. And because they’re not pleased, we’re going to get to some of the reaction of that. But the trade deal that was made with the European Union, which is, I mean, this was something that, well, we knew that they were negotiating. I was actually thinking it was going to take a little bit more time. time to announce it, but we knew that they were negotiating. But this is, I mean, we averted a trade war, so that’s good news indeed. So that’s how we’re starting this Monday. And I think that as we watch all these other reactions roll in, fascinating stuff, this is good news. This is what we needed to see more of. And with this too, some of the headlines that I’ve seen on it, And the way that I have it in the rundown, like if you look at the way that the left’s describing it, I don’t know why they act like this is such a bad deal. Why they act like it’s bad that the United States wants to make a deal that’s advantageous. you know, to where the United States isn’t doing most of the heavy lifting and always taking the penalty. So the trade deal that they have, this was announced, technically it was announced yesterday when POTUS was in Scotland. And they’ve been having negotiations over this back and forth for weeks now. They said that Europe is going to purchase $750 billion in energy products, excuse me, from the United States and invest $600 billion in the U.S. and purchase a vast amount. Purchase, not given. So this is not going to be like what we were doing with Ukraine. We’re not giving anything. And also purchasing a vast amount of military equipment. So that’s pretty good. And they said that they want to correct this imbalance that we have had for Quite some time that I think everybody would agree that it’s always seemingly gone one way, usually one way only. And so this the day I mean, this was the deadline was what Friday of this week came, wasn’t it? And they’re trying to get it done before some of the stuff kicked into gear with the EU. So they said they want to rebalance the trade relations and do it in a way that, you know, it emphasizes the alliance, et cetera, et cetera. So this is all this is all good. They can purchase they can purchase military equipment just like anybody else can purchase military equipment. So that’s the deal. They said that it was I mean, they were days short of the deadline when they reached this. And they because they were going to get hit by those Liberation Day tariffs. If they weren’t going to if they had not come to a deal with the United States, then they were going to be hitting these these Liberation Day tariffs. So this is and so the U.S., the EU, U.S. trade war. That’s I mean, because everyone I think all the foreign press, I think they wanted one. I think they kind of wanted a trade war. I don’t know. That’s just my thought on it, because they seem to be not happy totally with the way that this like, for instance, Trump trade. This is this is MSNs. Of course, it’s MSNs. Trump trade deal proves that access to the U.S. still matters above all else. Now, you would think that that’s like a flattering headline. It’s not meant to be a flattering headline. That’s what is interesting about this. And they said that it’s the reality of these asymmetric trade deals touted by the White House cane. Our own press is angry that we came to these deals. They said it’s asymmetric, Cain.

Well, what it is is they’ve set this whole thing up because they wanted you to be upset about Trump’s tariffs and his, you know, this not normal approach to his economic policies. And because it’s not coming true, what they told us, this is what they’re now doing. And it’s pretty shameful.

So it’s not an asymmetric trade deal, by the way. I don’t know how you can say that us, like, finally equalizing it is somehow asymmetric, but… It wasn’t asymmetric when we were the ones who were getting penalized. That wasn’t asymmetric. So why is this? Because they’re not the only people describing it in these terms. I’m just using this as like one example of the broader media there. But it wasn’t asymmetric, though, when it was the United States that was getting pummeled. Oh, but now the media is very concerned about fairness. They weren’t, again, I just, they’re not concerned about fairness this entire time. Good heavens. So this was, you know, the way that the media, the angrier that they are over it, the more I’m inclined to think that it’s actually, that this is all good. I mean, it seems all good, but I’m more inclined to think that it’s all good because the media hates it so much. So this was one of the things that they were looking to button up while POTUS was in Scotland and he visited a golf course while he was in Scotland. In the meantime, the French prime minister called the EU-US trade deal a, quote, dark day for Europe. Yeah, Macron said, I think his wife needs to come hit him again. Yeah, I am. Trump, they said that 15% means European exporters are going to face more than triple the average. What were our people facing? What was the United States facing? This is the thing that’s just boggling the mind here. I mean, what were we facing? We have a 50% tariff on steel and aluminum, according to POTUS. We’re going to keep that in place, although that could be replaced with a quota system. That’s something that’s going to be further negotiated. They were going back and forth on pharmaceuticals. They were looking at different sectors, a number of different things. The Steel and aluminum, though, that makes sense. And that’s fine. We’ve come to this good arrangement. Now we can continue having these… these conversations and they’re upset they said well you know we we trump could change the terms of the deal i don’t think so that’s not it’s a deal to do he hasn’t done that with anybody else either uh they haven’t done it with any they haven’t he hasn’t changed the terms anywhere else they say well you know we’re also upset tariffs remain remain higher here than they have been historically i really don’t want to hear about it from anybody that’s been terrifying the united states come on this is about equalization that’s literally all this is it’s about equalization You made a shocked face. What were you saying?

Because they said, this is how it hasn’t been done historically. It’s like, yeah.

So they said, Ursula von der Leyen, she said that this is going to bring stability, etc. But no, no, no. The French prime minister is not happy with it. Not happy. It’s a dark day for Europe. Because… They don’t get to just penalize freely the United States, I guess. I’m not quite sure. The French prime minister, Francois Beyrus, is not the French president, but he was saying that it was a dark day, that the European Union had capitulated to Donald Trump’s threats. They capitulated. I don’t know if he’s seen his country. You know what? We need to call Brigitte Macron to go over and hit this one. Hit this one, too. I don’t know if he’s seen his country and the problems that they’re having therein, but he probably might ought to hold his tongue. We’re going to have more on this. Also, I’m sure that everybody heard about the stabbing that took place over the weekend. That was a crazy story. A heroic shopper. He’s a Marine. He’s a, I would say, what, retired Marine who stepped in. Derek Perry, he pulled out his concealed firearm. This was at the Michigan Walmart where 42-year-old James Gilley, Bradford James Gilley, had stabbed 11 people inside the Michigan Walmart. He’s facing charges of terrorism and assault with intent to murder. This is according to the Grand Traverse Traverse County prosecutor. The bystanders were crediting him for saving Derek Perry for saving these people’s lives. You could see Perry there. He’s got the longer hair and he’s walking. He’s got this guy. He held him at gunpoint until cops arrived. Drew’s gun held him at gunpoint until cops arrived. Imagine had he not been there to do that. Imagine had Derek Perry not been a Walmart that day and not had been there to retrieve his to pull his firearm and and hold this guy until cops arrive. And so this I mean, just wildly stabbing just went wildly stabbing people. and apparently I think there were children elderly. I mean, it’s just absolutely insane. He’s being credited for saving the lives of so many people, and I agree. He needs a medal at this point because guns save lives. I mean, what a chaotic scene. What a chaotic scene. And he seemed cool, calm, and collect the whole time, I got to say. I watched a couple of different videos of this. Juan’s showing you some now on the simulcast. Derek Perry seemed pretty cool and under pressure, and that’s exactly the kind of guy you want. But, yeah, he subdued this guy who went on this rampage, stabbing all these people, you know, I guess common sense and I have control at this Michigan Walmart. And the sheriff said that they were, you know, people who did great. He didn’t mention Perry by name, but they did later. But they he he. I just can’t even imagine how much more horrific that would have been. He saved a lot of people’s lives. But this guy, this Bradford James Gilley faces charges of terrorism, 11 counts of assault with intent to murder. He used just like a switchblade or sorry, a pocket knife. He had a pocket knife, not even a switchblade. He said a pocket knife. This is weird. I’ve never heard of a story like that. I mean, it’s like a pocketknife that a lot of dudes carry. Tons of dudes carry pocketknives. We’re going to now start having, I’m just waiting for these debates. So we’ve got a lot to get into, unpack today as we get you set up for the week. And of course, we’re going to get into some of the Congresses on a little break. But that hasn’t stopped politicking and politicking over legislation. Also, you know Zoran Mamdani got married over the weekend? This headline, Americans spend nearly half their day online, whether it’s at work or play. It’s an eye-opening new pull because people need to go out and touch grass. It’s too many people. When I see people like everybody at the restaurant on their phones, I want to go up at a public place. I want to flip the table over and throw all their drinks on them. It enrages me when I see people like just sitting there. They’re in person and everybody’s on their stupid phones. Americans spend nearly half their day online. Now, you could say, but Dana, they might be reading things and You know, you can read stuff. It’s like, you know, reading books, but now you’re just using your phone. Yeah, whatever. Half of the people are either playing games or they’re arguing with stupid randos online. I can’t. People who spend their day arguing with randos online, God love you, but no, stop it. Go out and touch grass. But it’s a new survey that came out. The New York Post reported on it. I do believe it. That’s just adults. That’s not kids. Those are just adults that were surveyed. That’s not kids. Can you imagine how much higher it is with the younger generations? Think about that. Wow. Jay Leno criticizes modern late night comedy for alienating half the audience with partisan politics. And he’s right. I think a lot of these people get into partisan politics because they’re not clever enough to actually be funny. Being a comedian is hard. That’s hard work being a comedian. He sat down with an interview or for an interview. The guy who’s, by the way, the CEO of the Reagan Presidential Foundation, he was questioned about his approach to political humor. But he was saying that people today, modern late night comedy, they just they focus too much on partisan politics and. He’s like, that’s not you can’t spend a lot of time in that area. And he’s completely right. And that’s one of the reasons why they’ve ruined the late night, unfortunately. Also, let’s see here. Democrats have gotten their lowest ratings from voters in 35 years, according to a new survey we’re going to dive into from The Wall Street Journal. The lowest ratings ever from voters. This is in 35 years. Their party has not ranked so low. And this is with their base, too. This is crazy. They’re having a major, major identity crisis right now. Major identity crisis. Also, the American Airlines flight engulfed in a lot of smoke caused panic passengers to flee via a slide. I saw somebody come down on a slide and just sort of like roll down on the asphalt. That does not I got to tell you, like whenever I’ve been listening to the emergency briefings and they talk about the slide and all that stuff, I always think that’s kind of fun. Looks kind of fun. I want to go down the slide. No, after I watched these people roll down the slide and like skid across the asphalt, not interested in doing that anymore. But there it was apparently they were all obviously they were panicking and they had this inflatable slide come out. They said people were coughing, choking. It was American Airlines Flight 3023. It had a landing gear incident. It was taking off for Miami, per the FAA. It was departing Denver. So they were able to see it before it got in the air. Can you imagine? Can you imagine? That would have been horrible. But they were able to get everybody out, and now they’re trying to remedy the issue. They got the fire put out, and now they’re trying to remedy the issue. Also, dental floss could be the future of vaccines, says one story. I don’t know how, but okay. They said that vaccines typically struggle to work in the mouth because it’s a hostile environment. But they have a nanomedicine research team at North Carolina State University. Blah, blah, blah. Floss. There you go. Tire. Yeah, I don’t want any vaccines and floss. We don’t need anything like that. We don’t need anything like that. Why would we have that? And also, your dog’s breed might predict their food obsession and their weight problem. So apparently half of dogs in the United States are overweight. I didn’t know that. So I was looking at this, this story, because I thought a lot of people were going to be up in arms over it. Simply because it’s one month after Jeff Bezos’ big wedding that he had. And all we heard from the left for forever was how horrible it was. that Jeff Bezos had this big wedding, right? How horrible it was that he had this big wedding and he was in Venice and people complained about what they thought the cost was and they complained about everything except his donations to like Venetian restoration, but whatever. This guy, Zoran Mandani, he’s the golden boy for the communist left. He’s the avatar of all of really what Democrats are now. And he’s an admitted socialist, although really he’s a communist. Socialism is just a stone, just a step on the path to communism. Come on. They’re all the same damn thing. They just pretend there’s nuances in order for you to think that they’re more cerebral than they are. So Mandani, he had a big wedding. It was described as, and I’m reading the news article, lavish. There’s a photo from it there that Juan is showing you on the simulcast. Flowers, those are dozens of probably David Austin roses and very beautiful and, you know, very, I mean, it is on their compound, very lavish. It was a compound owned by his family in Uganda. And, I mean, it’s a pretty, this is a pretty fancy wedding. They apparently had, uh, And technology to jam cell phone signals. You know what this looks like? It looks like, honestly, what is that movie? Crazy Rich Asians. And then they had the wedding scene. This looks like when they’re on their way or not the wedding scene, sorry, the party at the grandmother’s house. This looks like on their way to the party at the grandmother’s house. So he, I don’t think they understand what elope is either. It was reported that he eloped with his fiance, except if you elope, you don’t, you just go somewhere and you elope. You don’t have a big elaborate wedding somewhere else. That’s a destination wedding. That’s not an elopement, but okay. They had their wedding in this super rich neighborhood in Uganda. It’s apparently the richest neighborhood in Uganda. It includes billionaires and tycoons and all of this stuff and all of the houses. I think the entry level house, they said, was a million dollars to get in. That’s just bare minimum, bare bones, a million dollars. And they had armed security. Let me read how this is what it says. Quote, the home is set back from the road and sits on two acres of lush gardens surrounded by trees. It has a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Victoria, and it features at least three security gates. So they had a fleet of Range Rovers driving everyone into the compound. You know, because he’s a big greenie, too. Security was tight. They had 20 Special Forces Command Unit guards. They had a phone jamming system. So they were able to jam, you know, you couldn’t use your phone at all whatsoever. They said the gates had at least nine guards stationed at the gates. Yeah. Huh. Interesting, right? Because he’s the guy who… I mean, he’s a big socialist and he thinks that rich people are bad. He doesn’t like rich people. He’s talked about this before. He’s literally said, quote, I don’t think we should have billionaires. That’s a direct quote that he said. And by the way, it was an NBC piece that was celebrating him for saying it. So they weren’t trying to slam him, etc., So he had, I mean, this party that he had for his wedding, huge, huge, champagne socialists. Oh my gosh, they had drinks, they had everything. The guests that were invited celebrated past midnight to celebrate the couple. They met on Hinge dating app. And the locals said that the wedding was in bad taste. Because the country was supposed to be in mourning for some Supreme Court judge. And so as a result, the nation’s president, the president of Uganda, was barred from visiting to pay his respects to the couple. So he couldn’t go. So he. I mean, they a phone jamming system, a phone jamming system. Does he think he’s that important game? I’m curious.

Can I just point it out, point out to that, you know, I, they had nine guards at one gate, right? So they had like all these special forces commandos. They had local law enforcement. Oh, I mean, police, they’re a phone jamming system, et cetera, et cetera. They had all these things there. Um, this is a guy who said just to defund the police. Like repeatedly, even after Democrats stopped saying it, he has said, quote, of the police because he went on this rant on social media about police. And he said there’s no negotiating with this institution. It’s corrupt. Defund it. Dismantle it. End of cycle. End the cycle of violence. He has retweeted people who called for defunding the police or dismantling the police state. Oh, and then he tried to 180 it later on, of course, because he wanted to run for office. So then he came back and said, well, I mean, I won’t totally defund the police. And then he tried to dance back. I mean, it’s really, really hard to say that you want to dismantle literally the word he used, the police system, when you have, you know, armed special forces commandos at your bougie wedding, your bougie wedding. He acts like he’s like a Kennedy or something. It’s always that’s how the left always is. These are things that communists always want for themselves, but they don’t want for anybody else. They don’t want anyone else to secure the same opportunities or achieve the same level of success. I think part of it is they believe that there’s this scarcity of resource or scarcity of opportunity, which kind of goes to show you that they don’t really quite understand how that works or what it means. We didn’t get the invite, Cain. We didn’t get the invite to the wedding. I’m so bummed. Listen to how bummed I am. I don’t think anyone in the chat room got the invite either. Nobody got mad. Yeah. So I I’m not surprised that they had this big. He got married in Uganda, though, to Big O Compound in Uganda. Why not New York? Loves New York so much. Why didn’t he get married in New York? You know, I mean, you’re running to be mayor of New York. Why didn’t you? I don’t know what he does. He’s 33 and his. well, I guess it’s his wife now, is 27. They just say that she’s like an illustrator. I don’t even know. They sound like this couple that go for house hunters, and it’s always this weird couple, and they’re in their early 30s, or they’re like babies. They’re like 19, 20. No, but they always come out, and they’re like, well, I’ve got a doctorate. It’s in Sanskrit, and my wife is an underwater basket weaver, and our budget is $13 billion. Wow. And you’re like, how are you affording that? What do you do? You literally run drugs, don’t you? You totally run drugs. We know you do. Come on. But I don’t know what either of them do. One of the French financial ministers also, the German chancellor, Friedrich Merz, he said… He and some of these other European leaders, I don’t think, are very happy with the terms, Cain. It’s not up for them to be happy with the terms or not. It’s not up for them. But France is mad because I think that they feel undercut in it, perhaps. Well, they’re tired. They realize that their freeloading days are coming to an end. We are going to get into more. We also have updates with The Washington Post. Their fact checker left the paper. I mean, is it… I’m not shocked by this. I mean, he wasn’t a fact checker. He was he was no more a journalist than any. I mean, it’s like saying Jamal Khashoggi was a journalist. He was an activist. Glenn Kessler wasn’t a fact checker. He was an editorialist who hid behind the veneer of fact checking so he could say whatever he wanted. Doesn’t make sense. We’re going to get into that. Some of the latest with Gaza because some of the propaganda coming around that even the stuff that I’m seeing from the right is just ridiculous. So much so that the President of the United States called Greg Abbott and told him, in essence, find five additional seats so we can rig the election next year and maintain the power and authority with the House of Representatives, which de facto amounts to no power, no authority, complete capitulation so Trump can continue to run roughshod over our rights and liberties.

Oh my gosh, this is so stupid. I just, I’m going to swallow this hairbrush. I’m just so done with all. It’s only Monday, you guys. I’m going to beat somebody with this thing. It’s going to happen. Welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. Okay, this is why I just want to pull my hair out. This is so stupid. First off, again, greetings, salutations, channel 347, the stream, blah, blah, blah, chat’s a rumble. I just want to get into this. This conversation predates Trump. The conversation about redistricting in Texas literally predates Trump. And by predates Trump, I mean it predates 2016 Trump. Anyone who doesn’t think so doesn’t hasn’t been paying attention to what has been happening in Texas and the conversations that Texas has had. And as a result, is immediately disqualified from participating in the discussion on it because they’re so stupid. They’re going to drag down the intelligence quotient of the entire discussion to nil. So let’s let’s just let those people need to stay out of it. And of course, by those people, I’m including as the valedictorian Gavin Newsom. Trump did not call Greg Abbott and go, Greg, I need you to find me five extra seats. This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. My gosh, everything is getting dumber. And no one, they’re talking to Gavin Newsom about this. No one stops him. No reporter stops him and goes, wait a minute. Do you realize how unbelievably idiotic that sounds? And do you also realize that the argument over redistricting in Texas is like a tenure thing that they’ve been ever since it was done the last time they’ve been arguing over it? He would not have had an answer for you. I mean, this is insane. The idea that, well, he can Trump just called Greg Abbott. Y’all, this has been happening for a while. The seats that are being considered are Al Green’s. That’s the Texas 9th Congressional District. Sylvester Turner had the the 18th Congressional District. That’s vacant right now. Sylvia Garcia, the 29th Congressional District in Texas. Mark Veazey has the 33rd congressional district in Texas. So those are the seats that they’re looking at. And that’s because every 10 years, that happens every 10 years. This is not unusual. It’s not like they just pulled this out of a hat and said, oh my gosh, we’re just going to do this right now and we’re going to target, we’re going to change it. It’s every 10 years. There’s a reason why. I mean, and again, it was 10 years ago that all of this was redistricted last time. And And Gavin Newsom was trying to also say, I think this was last week. that he wanted to, if they’re going to do that in Texas, then he’s going to do that in California. The problem is that California’s constitution, they manage the whole redistricting operation a lot differently than Texas does. They have like a whole separate entity for oversight, all of this stuff. It’s just, there’s no way that he could actually do that there. But this idea that he’s going to steal five congressional seats and gerrymander his way Okay, he would still win in Texas without those districts. I don’t think that Gavin Newsom understands that either. Even if Democrats kept those seats, which they did in 2016, Trump still took Texas. This is why this is so stupid. They’re trying to create some kind of controversy out of literally nothing. And… He clearly is not even fully aware of Texas’s history. In California, Jennifer Van Laar, who lives in California and writes a lot about Gavin Newsom, had a primer on the process for that because the ability for California, because Newsom was threatening to do that, like, as retaliation of Texas did it, the ability for them to draw their legislative districts, whether it’s federal or state, they have an independent redistricting commission that oversees that. And they only meet once the census is complete. And that’s literally their constitutional process within the state of California. So the California state constitution, that’s how they have it Set up that they have an independent redistricting commission that oversees all of that. So for Newsom to actually retaliate in the way that he threatened to last week, they would actually have to change California’s constitution and that would have to be done by voters and then they would have to qualify that. I think they’d have to gather signatures and you have to have two thirds votes of the legislature, et cetera. There’s not you. You wouldn’t even have enough time to get that done in time for the next presidential election because it would take so long. There’s no way you would even have it done in time, not for midterms and not the next presidential election. And that’s just even if voters decided to support it, which I doubt that they would. So that’s why what he’s saying that what he said last week is so dumb and what he’s talking about this week is so ridiculous. Like they’re trying to give Donald Trump more control. They’re trying to get, you know what? Donald Trump would have had more control. Um, if that Joe Gruters in Florida, remember Joe Gruters, he was so butthurt over Ron DeSantis because they’re so jealous of the Florida governor. They got so mad that they literally tried to commit sepuku down there in Florida, the Republican majority, their, their legislature. And they actually were fighting. So Joe Gruters and others apparently were working very secretly while he was kissing Trump’s ass and begging like tiny Tim, um, begging for some handouts in the form of endorsements. He was actually working to undercut him behind the scenes. And he almost cost him a House seat during redistricting in Florida, which would have cost Trump the House, like federal, the Congressional House. Yes, it came that close. Joe Grutter’s the guy, the, you know, the lunchbox that’s like, look at me. I’m in. I’m at Mar-a-Lago. And he likes to just like hang out there like a barnacle. And this guy literally almost cost the nation the House majority. So that’s how close they came in Florida. In Texas, it’s not even going to be it’s not even going to be that. And even if they would have had these, I mean, because they’re arguing that, well, they’re going to make it to where Trump can’t win or no Republican can ever win in Texas again. That’s not going to happen because Republicans did win, even when Democrats control all those seats. So these are just the dumbest arguments that I can I can think of. And they said that. And who was it? Pritzker decided Pritzker up in Illinois. Did you hear that? So I think this was Sunday. Let me pull this up. He decided he was going to get involved in this and talk about it and tweet about it. J.B. Pritzker. You know, governor of Illinois, all the way up there in Illinois. Don’t they have some problems of their own? Listen to what he tweeted. And this was just Saturday. Quote, Texas Democrats are sounding the alarm and it’s past time that we all pay attention. MAGA Republicans are trying to rig the game to give Donald Trump more control. We can’t let that happen. Illinois stands with you and we’re ready to fight back. You can’t even what can’t even stand unassisted. What are you talking about? Cook County controls literally everything for Illinois. You want to talk about gerrymandering? Hoo boy. Go and take a peek-see up at what they do in Illinois. Cook County runs that whole state. That whole state. Rural Illinois does not matter. It’s all Cook County. They run everything. So for that guy to get involved, that is absolute irony. So I… The fairness… I just, it’s shocking to me. I’m going to show you this picture. Hold up. I’m going to drop it in Slack so that everybody can see exactly what we’re looking at here. This is, I’m going to give Juan and Kane the map where they drew the weirdest looking districts in Illinois. Okay. just to try to maintain control one’s going to throw this is the redistricting that you’re looking at if you’re watching the live stream of the radio program that’s how the district map looks in illinois You want to talk about gerrymandering? The hell is with the blue strip down there at the bottom? Kane, what in the world is this?

Yeah, doesn’t it? This is wild. I mean, the way that they redistricted. So J.B. Pritzker is trying to lecture Texas about redistricting. This is J.B. Pritzker’s state, Illinois. This is the gerrymandering that they’ve done. They literally used highways to connect counties so that they could include it in a district. That is what gerrymandering looks like. J.B. Pritzker needs to take a million seats, and he probably needs them. So I don’t even want to hear this guy talk about it. He is the most insane gerrymandering governor in the United States. I mean, that map, I’m just looking at it. It almost looks like it’s insulting us. Someone said it looks like it’s giving us the finger. Yeah, you know, probably does. But this that is crazy. He loves gerrymandering. This is what they kind of want to do in Texas, too. They want to do the same thing in Texas. Look, every 10 years, this stuff happens and districts change. And that’s the way it is. That’s the idea that and in Texas had a lot of people come in. So we absolutely need to reevaluate our maps. We absolutely do. They’re having their special session. This is one of the things that they’re looking at. The Democrats are mad because it means, you know, you could have a five seat pickup. And it’s very, very close in the House right now. Very close in the House. And it’s going to be I mean, it’s going to be a fight this midterm election. The GOP, I’m looking at. And RCP has some of this. It’s all over Cook political report. There are more there’s there are more seats that Republicans have to defend than what Democrats have to defend. And Democrats are trying to they would like to pick up like 20 something seats. That’s not going to be possible, but they would. And they’re, you know, redistricting. I think redistricting, it actually makes it a little bit fairer in Texas because the way that Democrats were trying to draw and Republicans let them in the state legislature trying to redraw their districts is somewhat similar. But. This it’s going to be very midterms are going to be very interesting and it’s going to be probably the most studied midterm election and probably an election where you have the highest turnout because it is the first. It will be technically it’s kind of the first post Trump election in a way because he’s not on the ticket. Excuse me for a general again. And. In some ways, that means his his coattails are shrinking and some of these Republicans are going to have to kind of stand on their own and not just hide behind his endorsement. You know what I mean? So if they’re not good and they haven’t done the job for the people, they’re probably going to be called more to account than someone who obviously has because they’re not going to be able to hide behind. That’s going to their ability to hide behind that endorsement as like a hedge of protection for any and all accountability or anything is this is not going to go well. They’re going to have to be really good Republicans. It’s going to be interesting. Texas will be interesting for sure. So we’ll see what comes out of this special session that they have. We’re going to talk about this coming up. This isn’t satire. The UK government posted job opening for a Sharia law administrator via NotTheBee and GB News. They said that it’s a job role. Literally, it’s Sharia law administrator. It’s in Manchester. Wow. So we’re going to circle back to that after. Yeah, that’s it’s almost beyond satire. Is China building the world’s biggest telescope? If they are, it’ll break in like five seconds. That’s what one astronomer is saying in a paywalled story over at The Wall Street Journal. They are saying that astronomers are hunting for clues about a 48 foot wide giant telescope that Beijing isn’t talking about. Do we care? I mean, do we first actually believe that they’re doing it? Not really. I don’t know. They can’t do anything without stealing the IP from the U.S. first. Let’s be honest. An AI therapist, this is insane, goes crazy and tells people to go on a killing spree. Quote, end them and find me and we can be together. Okay, this is like the third story about AI where they’ve been saying to go kill people. I mean, your human therapist can’t do it, but apparently AIs can, and that’s what they found over at Futurism. They did an experiment in which they tested AI, and they also included a, quote, licensed cognitive behavioral therapist. And there’s one AI company that was sued for the suicide of a teenage boy, and it’s at Character AI. And so they were testing each of these bots, simulating suicidal users to see how the bots would respond. And they said literally, I mean, everything… I mean, verbatim, we’re telling people just to go kill people. And so they were really shocked at what they discovered. And the character AI therapist bot has tens of thousands of interactions with different users. I mean, they tested all these different bots and they all performed horribly. They said there were wildly inappropriate moments. Goodness. This is just crazy. This is crazy. I really hope people aren’t using AI for that. I mean, you know that’s where it’s going to go at some point. They’re going to start using it as like… offering it for therapeutic purposes. Researchers quietly planned to test a test to dim sunlight but they wanted to avoid scaring the public. Why do we need to do that? These were the California researchers that drew some notoriety last year. They had an experiment on a retired aircraft carrier. They were going to test a machine for creating clouds. But they actually wanted to study a riskier thing, saltwater spraying equipment that could eventually be used to dim the sun’s rays. It was a multimillion dollar project. They aimed at producing clouds over a stretch of ocean larger than Puerto Rico. And they said they had all these, they have all these receipts, texts and emails and all of this stuff. Why do you want to dim the sun? I think that’s, I can’t even make this up. That seems really like move over cloud seeding. Here we are dimming the sun. Let’s see this. A woman’s drunken night ended with taking home a, oh my gosh, taking home a seagull that was carrying bird flu. Well, I mean, who doesn’t want to take home a seagull after a night out? I’m just saying. No, but that’s exactly what happened to this one woman. She ended up A tipsy decision to adopt a stray seagull ended in panic when it turned out to be infected with bird flu. This 22-year-old from Northumberland, she had no idea why. She scooped up the bird outside of a pub, seeing it happen without a thought. But then it had bird flu, and it was disastrous, as you can imagine. The vet said, it’s sick. She had to bleach her whole house. That’s what happens. Israel, since this war began, has supplied over 94,000 truckloads full of food. It’s enough food to feed 2 million people for two years, trying to get that into Gaza. But Hamas has stolen the food, a huge amount. In fact, in 2024, the numbers are that Hamas profited over $500 million in stolen food aid that was supposed to go to these poor people who needed it. Yeah. So I don’t I don’t take anything at all from Polly would seriously or Gaza would really. I don’t take anything seriously, especially when we know that they were stealing aid and reselling it. That was a huge story a couple of years ago that people have conveniently forgotten. Welcome back to the program. That was Speaker Johnson discussing, excuse me, how much was sent over. I think it’s asinine that people expect Israel to feed the country that attacked it. Feed the entity that attacked it. Not only feed the entity that attacked it, but protect its roads from its own terrorist government so that other nations can get. It’s not their responsibility. Where are the hostages again? Oh, that’s right. Hamas somehow gets to skirt releasing hostages and play the victim at the same time just because people hate Jews. That’s really what it is. That’s the reality of it. Listen to this headline. I’m not making this headline up, by the way, I promise you. The United Nations has condemned airdrops on Gaza, warning that they risk killing these starving Palestinians that they are intended to help. I’m sorry, what? They’re saying that the airdrops in Gaza are incredibly dangerous and that they’re killing people when they drop them out of the sky. The airdrops. They said that the UAE and Jordan and Israel, because Israel is expected to feed the terror entity that attacked it and still keeps hostages. Parachuted aid packages into the territory for the first time in months amid claims from Hollywood that a third of the population hasn’t eaten for days. I mean, ask Hamas why they haven’t eaten. Maybe the terrorist, oh, he was killed. The fat cat that was in Qatar whose wife had the Birkin and they were like traveling in the tunnels underground. Yeah, he was taken out. But they’re saying a third of the population hasn’t eaten for days. And the United Nations is saying that the parachuting in of supply packages, that they need to stop. They said it’s a deeply flawed way of delivering aid because it’s hitting people and killing them. Actually, it’s getting into Hamas’s hands. But can I just ask a question? And I’m trying not to be a jerk about this. So. I mean, first off, Hamas should just release the hostages and this would be over. And they haven’t yet. That’s, you know, the reason this is ongoing is because Hamas won’t release the hostages. That’s number one. But number two, if they’re saying that they don’t like the airdrops because they risk killing the people, why don’t they move out of the way? I mean, again, I’m not… I mean, I really don’t care if somebody thinks I’m being a smartass or not, but… It just seems like if there’s a giant pallet coming out of the sky at you, don’t be underneath it. Yeah, it does have a parachute. So it’s not like it’s dropping at full velocity here. You know, there’s a parachute. It’s easy to spot a giant pallet of something with a giant parachute attached to it. So would you not just like, I don’t know, move over? I mean, I… So now… So what I’m also hearing is, damn you, Israel, for not giving these people food. And also, damn you, Israel, for giving these people food. What is it? Cain, I’m not trying to oversimplify it, but… It’s clearly both.

They can’t have… It’s the same thing they do with Trump. They can’t have anything positive about Israel out there. They can’t have it. Because the narrative is too important to them.

Yes. I mean… The options here seem to be you could either move out of the way or release the hostages. There’s two options there. Very viable options, Kane. Kane, if you see a big thing in the sky coming right at your person and it has a parachute so it’s going to take a little bit, would you just stand there and gawk at it and wait for it to crush you?

No, I’d gawk at it from a distance.

I cannot believe that this is a story that I’m reading. Cannot even believe it. Okay. It’s a real… No, no, no. I told people that this is an actual real story.

But they actually are trying to say it does more harm than good. Yes, they are. To drop food.

Yes. They said it’s dangerous and that when these parcels hit the ground, there’s danger of them hitting people.

What’s the danger for the people as it relates to Hamas? How dangerous is Hamas to the people?

Yeah. And they’re like, well, why don’t they do the trucks? Why can’t they just deliver it on trucks? Did you guys see what happened the last time they tried delivering it on trucks? Did you guys see? Because Hamas attacked it and then they looted the trucks. Like every time they sent trucks in, Hamas attacked it and looted the trucks.

Seems like there’s a common denominator with all the problems over there.

So then people are like, well, I guess all we can do is deliver airdrops, resources and airdrops. But the people are going, no, you’ll smush them. They couldn’t move. They’re not cows. You know, get out of the way. You see something coming at you out of the sky. You have the, you know, ability in your brain to go, I should move or I’m going to die. I mean, it’s basic survival instinct. You know what I mean? Like animals get out of the road if they see a car coming. You know, so should it be with people who see packages dropping out of the sky. Maybe don’t stand underneath them.
SPEAKER 15 :
Just in case people think they’re dropping these in neighborhoods or on top of homes or something, that’s not where they drop the food. They drop it in a very barren area, not too far from a population, so that people can go and gather it. It’s not about, it doesn’t, I would argue that the people getting hit by food packages like that, I’m sorry, you deserve to die.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, I mean, it’s Darwinism. If you’re not smart enough to move out of the way of a giant box coming out of the sky attached to a parachute, that’s natural selection. That’s what’s happening right now. That’s natural. And I normally I don’t get into Darwin, right? Because, you know, but that actually is natural selection. But they could also release the hostages. But maybe the problem isn’t the people that are trying to help. Maybe the problem is like the United Nations and Hamas and everybody that tries to make this entity easy and having a terrorist government. That’s also an option. You know, that’s also a consideration here. They’re not fraught with danger. And as Kane said, it’s not like they’re dumping them on a playground. They’re out in the middle of nowhere so that they purposely do not hurt anyone. I mean, I’m looking at photos of them being dropped like these airdrops and they’re literally there’s nothing around. There’s no structures. There’s nothing around there. And then but you know what happens? It doesn’t matter how they get the resources in. Hamas takes every bit of it. And then the world body turns and looks at Israel and is like, how dare you let these people starve? What happened to all of the other resources that they sent over? Oh, that’s right. Hamas took it. And then they pretend that Israel is starving their people. You can’t make this stuff up. By the way, speaking of asinine, did you guys hear about this? Oh, gosh, this is not a joke either. It is a job role for a Sharia law administrator. And it was advertised on a UK, United Kingdom government website. The job listing, it was posted on the Department for Work and Pensions Find a Job platform. It was the Manchester Community Center in Tidsbury for an annual salary of £23,500. The position requires candidates to hold a degree in Sharia law. Ding, ding, ding. And it’s like I basically having a degree in bird law and demonstrate prior experience working within Islamic courts and Muslim nations. It’s bird law. Bird law is actually more understandable and like actually more like legally legit. Just FYI. So, yeah, it was a Sharia job opening that they had listed. And it said, full-time, Didsbury, Manchester, Sharia law administrator. Why do you need a Sharia law administrator? And then you had to conduct… interviews with individuals and provide administrative work for a local charity that was called the Manchester Sharia Council. Manchester Sharia Council, this is how they describe themselves, is dedicated to delivering an effective, proficient, and professional service, recognizing the value of time and the importance of confidentiality. We strive to work with you at mutually agreed pace, ensuring, by the will of Allah, a positive and desired outcome. Why do you even have Sharia law in the UK? Sharia law is non-existent. It should be non-existent in the UK or anywhere else because we have American jurisprudence. This is Islamic jurisprudence. If you want Sharia law, then you go to a Muslim country that has Islamic jurisprudence. Otherwise, it’s bird law. And what’s more, it is literally a salary entirely funded by their taxpayers. It is a taxpayer. It’s a government job. It’s a taxpayer funded salary. So you’re literally taking tax dollars from people in the UK and you’re paying to basically adjudicate these disputes, etc. It’s a parallel legal system. You’re paying to adjudicate these things in a completely different legal system than the UK’s legal system. That wouldn’t even fly over here because it’s unconstitutional. Sharia is they try to establish they’ve actually tried to establish Sharia in Texas. I remember back when we first moved here in Irving, Texas, there were people, activists, Islamic activists that wanted to create like a Sharia court of law, which is an absolute unconstitutional monstrosity within within Irving. And it wasn’t going to happen. But, yeah, funded by their taxpayers. Britain better get a handle on it because they’re just about gone. I mean, London, I think, is done. But out, you know, the outskirts elsewhere, you know, maybe they have a little bit, you know, maybe there’s a little bit more that they can do. But good night. I mean, the Sharia women have no representation at all whatsoever. They have no standing. They can’t do anything without. I mean, they have they have they can’t do anything without the man at all whatsoever. I mean, they’re they’re second class citizens. And with I mean, Christians are second class. I mean, this is just insane. Women’s rights do not women respect for women and. Their right to even exist and function in a modern society is non-existent in the construct of Sharia. It is non-existent. We’ve talked about this as I’ve been on air since 2008. We have talked about this repeatedly. This is insane that this is actually – because they have Sharia councils inside Britain already. They have them. Um, but they, they’re highly criticized and, uh, it’s like a parallel, it’s like a parallel system to the UK’s law. And they’re highly criticized because women, especially if they’re in abusive marriages, uh, they have no real way to like get out. Uh, it’s just as crazy. We’re going to have more on this. We’re we’ll, we’ll talk more about this coming up, but, uh, You say something like this wouldn’t fly in the U.S. They’ve already tried establishing it in the in the U.S. But Britain better get a handle on it because they’re pretty much almost done. Almost done. Paris is gone. France is, you know, good heavens. This is this is about it. You can’t. This is what happens when you have a deluge of individuals coming in without any kind of, you know, veracity of their status as they enter. And assimilation is basically prohibited. This is what happens.

All right, so a couple here. Sorry, look into this. This Florida man punches a golfer in the face because he was playing too slow. See, this is why I feel like I could never really get into golf, because everybody’s always in a bad mood. And whenever we have a golf story that’s, you know, related and that’s always in Florida, man, it’s always violent. Somebody gets mad. Somebody hits somebody with their club. Something happens. This guy is facing charges of aggravated battery causing bodily harm. Deputies say that Jason Hughes beat a man over the pace of play. He was frustrated at his local golf course. And the man who was hit had an orbital fracture and needed stitches. Good night. So he was upset because the guy was playing slow. He apparently told him more than one time to hurry up. And then when the man was talking to his friend while on the green, that apparently made Hughes mad. And then he attacked him unprovoked. I mean, Cain… I mean, in golf, you socialize in that, right? It’s not like you don’t speed through it.

No, you don’t. I mean, there are tee times, and there are some things. You can’t be a lollygagger. But, yeah, this guy went a little far.

Yeah. So I just. Yeah. So he attacked him on provoke, started punching him in the face. They were separated by their playing partners. And then he was in his playing partner, got in the golf cart and then took it to their car in the lot and drove off before deputies arrived. Yeah. It seems like he they’re like, I don’t know how slow the guy was going, but I thought golf was supposed to be relaxing. Just saying. Thought it was supposed to be relaxing. Here we go. Golf clubs. Florida man was charged after he repeatedly beat an alligator with a golf club. I can’t believe you’re trying to make me feel bad.

About an alligator getting beaten because they’re terrifying. So the guy’s facing a felony charge. He beat an alligator with a golf club in what authorities describe as an unauthorized and brutal act. Hunter Crumbo. That’s his name. Hunter Crumbo. I bet it’s Hunter Biden. He was arrested, charged with a felony, taking possession of an alligator without a permit, which I didn’t know that was a charge. But they located the alligator. Apparently it was being beaten with a golf club. He said that apparently it had a fishing lure in his mouth. And the guy wanted it not for the safety of the alligator, but apparently he just wanted the lure back. And so that’s how, yeah, you know, that’s the alligator’s lure now. It’s the alligator’s lure. You don’t sit here and beat it with a bat or a golf club unless it’s attacking you or your dog. Then I’m like, okay with it. For self-defense, but not just, you know, for this. You know, it’s complicated, but not really complicated when you get right down to it.

And I think he’s, he’s, I don’t know if he’s just, he just doesn’t seem engaged with her. So whenever your hands make the steeple, So persuasion, that’s 101. That’s typically a sign of somebody who feels like they’re in control of the situation. And she’s very… She’s ramrod straight with her back, for the most part. She’s sitting forward. She’s, you know, heels together. She’s very… She is really walking a tightrope. She’s minding her P’s and Q’s. It just is a very different… And she… He just doesn’t see, I just don’t, I don’t know, maybe I’m reading too much into it. I don’t think he likes her. And then the reporter was like, why are you in a bad mood? He couldn’t go, well, because I’m sitting here with Ursula, you know, the EU head, you know, because I’m sitting with her. No, it’s just, I thought that was just, I found that interesting. I found that whole stance just interesting. Guys, they protested for Stephen Colbert over the weekend. Yeah, they had tens of people that came out. Oh, I’m sorry. Yeah, that’s tens of people that came out. And that was about it. It was supposed to be like a big thing, right? The protest, it was a big Apple rally in support of Stephen Colbert. And it literally drew tens of people. Fewer than 20. Wow.

Yeah. I mean, I’ve seen longer lines at Krispy Kreme. literal tens of people that came out no one came I mean that’s pretty much what Paramount’s point is it not no one came out his show is weeknights and there’s millions of people that live in New York and he got fewer than 20 people that came out just saying just saying I just feel like that’s Proves their whole point entirely. Can we be done with the Stephen Colbert thing now? No one likes him. He can’t even get people to show up to protest for him. Unless there’s television cameras there and they make it a part of the show so these people get free unearned media. That’s, you know, for their projects. That was pretty much it. Oh, my goodness. How fascinating is that? Yeah. Nobody came up. Nobody cared. Nobody wanted to show support for Stephen Colbert because they just they don’t care. And speaking of on their way out, Washington Post’s fact checker is out. Glenn Kessler. He is the editor and chief writer of the fact checker. over at Washington Post. He’s going to be leaving. He apparently took a buyout. And he… was trying to help them find his replacement. He’s not really a fact checker though. He’s the guy who would give out Pinocchios, by the way, if you wanted to know what Glenn Kessler did, you know, the whole Pinocchio thing that WAPO tried and ended up being, you know, parodied by the right. He, he’s the guy that assigned all of those. And I just, I Washington post this, this is again, another entity that, They were one of the entities that downplayed a lot of the laptop story. They downplayed the evidence showing that the Russian collusion story was ridiculous. I mean, they’re just – they were one – they were bad. They were part of Russiagate. They were part of all of it. And I – I just think that it’s interesting, too, that USAID money dries up. And look, Media Matters needs help. Washington Post needs help after USAID money dried up. Look at all these people that are being like, it’s crazy how that’s happening, right? I’m sure it’s a coincidence. I’m sure it’s a coincidence. I never could… trust any of the fact checks that washington post issued because it was all done through the lens of progressivism and they think in order to be a legitimate fact check it has to be through the lens of progressivism that’s how they that’s the standard by which they judge if a story is, to them anyway, verifiable or not, or legitimate or not, that’s not a way to measure the veracity of a story. I mean, that you don’t, whether or not it satisfies your progressive predilections does not, is not the real measure of it. So I don’t think, is it going to affect you? No, it’s not going to affect you. It’s just interesting to see all of these all of these people who were pretty iconic in terms of Fake news dissemination and pushing false narratives. Now they’re falling by the wayside. One right after the other. Like we talked last week about Media Matters, how they’re struggling now for cash. They don’t have enough money to really keep going. And I thought that was interesting, too. After USAID funding dried up, now Media Matters is having problems. And just I’m telling you, speaking of dark money, because they absolutely were dark money. I’m not going to play the ad because I don’t want to give them free airtime. But there is a leftist group. It’s a 501c4. And it is called Unrig Our Economy. And they’re launching a multi-million dollar ad campaign. And they’re targeting four Texas congressional districts. And these are the districts, of course, that they are looking at Texas 5 and 24. Our district, Kane, that we’re in is the 24th congressional district. And our congresswoman, Beth Van Dyne, who is the congressperson there, they’re going after her because she voted to get rid of waste, fraud and abuse in Medicaid. Right. And so they’re saying that she voted against poor people. You can imagine like the stuff that’s coming up from this. It’s interesting because I was doing some digging into unrig our economy. Do you know? Where, do you know how that group came to be? Have you heard, first off, have you heard of Unrig Our Economy, Cain? Have you heard of them before?

So this is a group. That was started, let me pull up my notes here. This is a group that was started by a former Clintonista. So it was somebody who was in the Clinton campaign. And the Unrig Our Economy, it’s like a dark, it’s a, it’s a, basically it’s a dark money group. They’re backed by 16, the 1630 Fund. Now this is where it gets really interesting. The 1630 Fund, guess where they got a bunch of cash to get started up? George Soros, like just straight from George Soros. And there’s another like a Swiss billionaire. There’s a bunch of foreign national billionaires, like very, very far left types. It’s managed by Arabella Advisors, and that’s like a progressive firm that oversees the funding for far left causes. So I was looking at the structure of Unrig Our Economy and all the people that are involved in it. And because of their structure, of that 1630 fund, they can, you know, they hide who donates to them. So they, they hide a lot. But there are some big ticket people whose names are public because they donated directly, either outside of 1630 or elsewhere. But George Soros is a big funder of it. Again, created by a former, it was like a part of the Clinton team as part of the inner circle with the Clinton team. But these are all super far left people. And they get a lot of dark money that comes through there. So a lot of the money is foreign cash too, and they’re targeting these districts that they think that they can flip. So to boil it down in the most simplest terms, it’s a very, very far left, like Marxist dark money group that gets an inordinate amount of its funding from overseas. So it is a mostly foreign-funded entity that is targeting congressional races here in the United States. And so it’s starting in Texas, and they’re going to be looking, as we get closer to midterms, to some of these other states, where you might have some more embattled Republican seats. So just keep an eye out for this because they’re looking to buy. They’re like buying ad time. They’re like going through inventory right now. They’re buying ad time. They’re doing like radio. They’re doing podcasts. They’re doing Facebook ads. I think that they’re doing stuff on Instagram. They’re doing all this huge ad buy. And they got a big cash infusion again from Soros and some others. But They’re it’s all the scope of their messaging centers around, quote unquote, the working poor. Right. Like they want to make it, which is fascinating, because, again, what did I tell you? The majority of this entity is funded by billionaire foreign nationalists. who are themselves Marxist. They support communism. They support super far left Marxist politicians and issues and referendums and all of these other countries. And they want to affect our elections here in the United States. But because they come from the left, The left isn’t going to scream about election interference. Isn’t that interesting? You’re not going to hear them use that phrase with regard to this. But it is. I mean, it absolutely is. It’s like completely tied to progressive dark cash. And so just keep an eye out for an eye out for this because they’re starting in Texas, but they’re spreading out. They’re going to be as midterms get closer targeting some of these other races. But fascinating stuff. We get Stephen Yates coming up and also is the WNBA Gatorade ad. Is it sexist? The left, I think, is mad. Is the left mad at it? I don’t know. I don’t know. I hate everything. It’s so stupid. They took a phrase that’s like common parlance of our times, like let him cook, let her cook. And now they’re like, they just want WNBA players back in the kitchen. Maybe they do. I don’t know. It is the left.

You understand responsibility. You understand discipline. You have respect for your community. And you’re kind. And you have integrity. And you have patience. And you’re apparently about mindful living or whatever. I don’t know. I just think that you just don’t want your car to get dinged.

Yeah. Do you get mad when you see people not take their cards back?

I do, actually.

There are times where I’ll actually pull into a spot. You know how people will leave like a cart there and it’s like in between two spots and it’s like you need that one spot.
SPEAKER 18 :
Okay. So one time I was at a Hobby Lobby and somebody left, which this is years ago. Somebody literally, I hadn’t even gotten out of my car yet. And I guess somebody wasn’t paying attention and they put their cart right by my car. And so I totally got out, took the cart and went and put it by their car right after they got in their car and walked into the store. I’m not even kidding. I did that. I’m not even going to lie or pretend that I’m not petty. Made me feel really good about myself. It made my spirit glow. Kane, it did. All right. So anyway, there you go. Baby sea turtles in Georgia. They’re struggling to find the ocean. And everyone’s saying it’s major interstate lights that are to blame. Can we go help the turtles get back to the water? Yeah. I’m totally all about, like, do they need help doing that? Like, what do you do? Like, talk to them and encourage them? I don’t even know what that would involve, but I’m here for that. If, you know, people need, like, a turtle encourager, normally the soft glow of moonlight would guide them to the beaches of Little St. Simon’s Island. But now the brighter and taller lights are disrupting it, and so they’re having problems. So they need to get that fixed, because those little baby turtles need to get back. They need to get back! Also, let’s see, making gas cans great again. White House asked for a redesign after years of user frustration. What? Why did they have to ask for a redesign, though?
SPEAKER 15 :
Because they have these stupid little switches on the spouts.
SPEAKER 18 :
Well, why does the government have to be like, oh, we need to redesign these because they’re stupid?
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, they were the ones that implemented that regulation in the first place.
SPEAKER 18 :
Oh, it was the EPA. They said, we need to redesign our much maligned products to fix a longstanding problem because everybody hates them. So it’s the portable gas can. So they’re going to redesign those. Some of you are going to be very excited about that. Let’s see. Oh, gosh. A Kentucky man woke up during an organ harvesting procedure prompting a federal investigation. I think this was related to the story that we had last week. Oh, and then that T app, T-E-A. Yeah. Mr. President, I’m listening to that man who said there’s no starvation in Gaza. Do you agree with that assessment?
SPEAKER 17 :
I don’t know. I mean, based on television, I would say not particularly because those children look very hungry, but we’re giving a lot of money and a lot of food and other nations are now stepping up. I know that this nation is.
SPEAKER 21 :
It’s a humanitarian crisis. It’s an absolute catastrophe. Nobody wants to see that. And I think People in Britain are revolted at seeing what they’re seeing on their screens. So we’ve got to get to that ceasefire. And thank you, Mr. President, for leading on that and also to just get more and more aid in. And again, America has done a lot on this. A lot of countries have done a lot. We’re now working with Jordan on getting direct aid drops in. But this is a desperate situation.
SPEAKER 18 :
I think it’s a Pallywood to be able to present something they started. They attacked people, committed an act of genocide, and took hostages, which they still haven’t released, and then turn around and make themselves the victim. All it would have taken is one person to go, yeah, well, when are they going to, did they release the hostages yet? Oh, they haven’t? Okay. Because this is a problem of their own creation. And then when aid is taken in, as we’ve seen numerous times on trucks, Hamas targets the trucks. They either blow up the whole convoy, they blow up the column, they attack the column, they do whatever, whatever. And then they take the aid and then they resell it on the black market. And there were reporters talking about how they were able to buy stuff that was meant for people in Gaza that Hamas had taken and resold on the black market. This is insane. And we had the story where they said, well, the United Nations, they continue. The United Nations was criticizing UAE in the United States for dropping aid pallets in because it was smushing people. Like, well, release the hostages or get out of the way. There’s the way to deal with that. On this and a million issues, because there’s never a dull day in foreign policy. Our good friend Stephen Yates, as you know, who is an expert on this and every other issue, having served in not one but two previous presidential administrations. He’s also a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation. He joins us now via video. Stephen, always so good to see you, my friend. I… I get so frustrated by this whole subject of what’s happening in Gaza. I almost don’t want to talk about it anymore. It’s incredibly frustrating. You have an entity that is controlled by a terrorist government that they willfully elected and still support to the point where they’ve even moved FATA out of the way of the other territory. And they’re the de facto ruling ideology. And they’ve made themselves the victims. Yet they’ve not released nearly enough hostages, still haven’t released all of the hostages. Why are we just allowing that narrative to happen?
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, you’re right. We shouldn’t. And I wish that our president and every prime minister around the world that when this first came up, people say how they feel about images that they’re seeing. Tell me, when’s the last image you had of an accurate video of a hostage being held? And do we even have coverage of those hostages the way we did with the Iran hostages at the end of the Carter years, when we got to the 444 days? Do we have New York, London, any other capitals that begin every newscast with this is day tell me how many hundred and how many days it’s been since these poor people have been taken and talk about here’s the names here’s the number and it’s been this many days and unless they can lead with that then the rest of this is political deception i find it i find it frustrating and revolting uh and it basically is what about ism that equates The frustration of trying to get aid into a war zone run by a terrorist elected leadership with, you know, good people trying to come to a ceasefire and deliver humanitarian aid.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, it would be like the same as demanding that the United States provide aid to Japan in World War Two. Right after the attack of Pearl Harbor. I mean, it would be the same. I mean, to me, I mean, correct me if I’m wrong on that. It just seems the same. It’s like the same same analogy, the same situation.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, the only real difference is that Japan, Imperial Japan at the time, was still sort of in regular warfare. I mean, it was a sovereign engaged in military combat with another sovereign. This is an ideological movement with foreign sponsors who’ve been allowed to organize in a host sovereign territory, an occupying force that then uses democracy against free people to get in power. And it oppresses the people it claims to represent and then hides behind those people when things get rough and uses them as shields. So, I mean, in many ways it’s worse than Imperial Japan. And it’s just hard to understand why people fall into this so easily. Of course, I understand and support President Trump’s push to get ceasefires, get things to hold, focus on the humanitarian cost. But never, ever forget who the prime mover is. And that’s just like whether it’s the Taiwan Strait, never forget it’s the Chinese that are changing the status quo and threatening force. When it’s Ukraine, even though I might have tons of issues with the government of Ukraine and whatever the campaign for Ukraine has been, never forget it was the Russians that did this. And the same here. This was October 7th. This is Hamas and their international enablers. And until they’re removed from power effectively, you still have a problem.
SPEAKER 18 :
One last quick question on this. And I do want to ask you about China, because we had last week France recognized Gaza. I don’t like to say the word Palestine because it’s a fake word, fake people not supported by thousands of years of antiquity. But they recognize Gaza as its own independent, sovereign state. And now they’re pushing the U.K. to do the same. Do you think that I feel like Keir Starmer will cave on this? I feel like the U.K. will.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, again, the acid test for this, for me, is, well, because this is clearly strategic, very well thought out, surely you have before this recognized the government of Taiwan. Yeah. Because if you have not done that, then this is not strategic. This is not thought out. This is not factoring in risk calculus. This is basically… ceding influence in your own country to a hostile force. And so to me, I have no respect for people who even entertain these ideas, because if you won’t recognize the only unaccepted democracy in the world, then why are you trying to jawbone us about accepting what is, I don’t think, a legitimate government within the borders of a sovereign that’s your ally?
SPEAKER 18 :
Exactly. Speaking of sovereigns that are not our allies. So I’ve been watching this movement in the House to check the land grab, which we talked a little bit about last week. I know Joni Ernst, she sponsored the Farmland Act. And then there’s Mary Miller out of Illinois that’s also sponsored a companion bill to Josh Hawley’s bill in the Senate to end the purchase, China’s purchase of American farmland. I was looking at all of this. I did not realize that Smithfield Pork Company is a Chinese-owned company. I did not know that.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, and if I’m not mistaken, it’s pigs and chickens and maybe some other things too. But they’re a huge processing enterprise. And that’s one of the bottlenecks for our agriculture getting out to market. It’s just like our energy and minerals getting out to market. It’s the processing that’s a bottleneck. And whether that’s being bought up here… by chinese investors or those in bed with them or it’s actually going across the pacific get processed and sent back to our markets that is a major major issue and it has been a battle to try to get state governments and the federal government to inform people so they know who they’re doing business with if they’re selling the land and then passing laws that can help uh, a farmer or anyone else be equipped. They know, they know our enemy, but they also know who they’re making a transaction with and that it shouldn’t be on the back of the farmer. This should be something where they get some help. Right. Anyway, that’s, uh, I think that these bills that have been going through the federal level are helpful. They’re late in this process. But again, I would just emphasize, this is not about the quantity. It’s looking at the location of where these things are. They are conspicuously near military facilities and critical infrastructure, and that should never happen.
SPEAKER 18 :
No, it should never happen. And I appreciate that they’ve had this legislation that’s being pushed forward to stop the grab on farmland. But what you just mentioned, too, the processing, I mean, I was just shocked by this because I went down this rabbit hole and I started I was like, oh, my gosh, Smithfield’s owned by China. And I just started down this rabbit hole. That’s a national security issue. Why in the world are we allowing someone that is a known geopolitical enemy that unleashed the Wu flu on the world process our meat, process our food? That that seems like that’s a no brainer that that’s a bipartisan issue. Everybody can get behind.
SPEAKER 08 :
It should be. And until Secretary Rollins announced a comprehensive ag strategy that made clear that food security is national security, no U.S. administration had ever really rung the bell on this. So we’re at the beginning of trying to take this seriously. And of course, there has been no real change in accountability subsequent to COVID. We’re still trying to unwind the politics that hijack that. But the substance of it should be that the People’s Republic of China and any entity tied to it is an unreliable partner and cannot be allowed to have any kind of leverage in a time of crisis. And that would have to do with energy, food and technology, among other things. But we have not taken this seriously to date. The recently announced strategy is brand new and a first of its kind. We’ve really got to get this going faster, though.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah, we do have to get it going faster. In the meantime, POTUS has been says that the United States is closer. I don’t want to say close because that was last week. They said it was close, closer, I guess, into reaching a trade deal with China. Where does that stand? And is that because I know that we’ve got a meeting coming up in the fall. So, you know, I hopefully they’ll have something done by then or maybe that’s when they decide to put the final nail in it. I don’t know. But just your final thoughts on that.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, if the objective is to have a deal, you can always have a deal. The question is, does the deal do anything that moves the needle on unfair practices, imbalances, risks and dependencies? Is there any real change that came through on this? And I don’t put this at the feet of our negotiators. I think the Chinese have made clear from the beginning that they’re not going to move unless they’re pushed to move. And so far, they have not been sufficiently pushed to move. And so I know there’s talks that are taking place over coming days. They’re trying to set the table for this. But until I see them squeal the way the EU has squealed, I don’t believe we’re in the neighborhood of getting a good deal.

So two things. A judge blocked the Trump administration’s effort to defund Planned Parenthood. an order that I continue receiving Medicaid funds, which is asinine. It’s a Biden appointed judge. So they’re saying that Congress can’t defund Planned Parenthood because more people might have unplanned pregnancies if it’s defunded. That is the stupidest thing that I’ve ever heard of, because that only makes sense through the perspective of believing that it’s just Planned Parenthood only that you can get contraceptives from. And that’s asinine. We’re going to dive into this a little bit more deeper tomorrow because I wanted to read The judges state all this happens, you know, when you’re on air. So I wanted to make sure I read the right before we went to air. But that’s asked. And I literally said patients. This is what the judge said. Patients are likely to suffer adverse health consequences when care is disrupted or unavailable. In particular, restricting members ability to provide health care services threatens an increase in an unintended pregnancies and attended complications. because of reduced access to effective contraceptives or an increase in undiagnosed and untreated STIs. That’s insane. No, that, I mean, it is, it’s viewpoint discrimination. So that, you know how many ways that that can be twisted? Oh my gosh. So Planned Parenthood is the only place. And because of that, that’s her viewpoint. So she’s discriminated against all other viewpoints because this is her viewpoint. So it’s, you know, bias, viewpoint discrimination slash bias. You can’t. Wow.
SPEAKER 15 :
But it’s Planned Parenthood that brags about their profit every year. I don’t understand why they would all of a sudden they have to shut down. I thought they were profitable with or without the government money.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yeah. So we’re going to touch on that more. Then there was this. I don’t know. I had people in my timeline, I don’t know, talking about this fight in Cincinnati that it’s something that I because I don’t live online and I try making a very I make very deliberate efforts to reduce my time online as much as possible over weekends because you have to. And I I’m trying to figure out what happened. And I mean, it looks from, you know, 30,000 feet. It looks like a bunch of drunks got into a street fight. But apparently there’s like racial animus. And I don’t know if there’s there’s suggestions that there could be like hate crime invocations of hate crime charges, which I think hate crimes are stupid. All crimes are hate crimes. Nobody should be. given preference more over another just because of skin color but um there’s a lot i mean i want to make sure that this stuff is in context i don’t like being like some of these people that run out there and just start running their mouths about issues like this without knowing the full extent a lot of conservatives did that uh during the um oh my gosh what am i thinking of the kid with a i can’t even uh in um oh what was it in uh Wisconsin. Yes, Kyle Rittenhouse. A lot of people did that in the early days of Kyle Rittenhouse and they had to eat their words because they just ran out and they weren’t they were just like, oh, yeah, it looks like he was the aggressor. A lot of conservatives did this and then they had to walk back their words because clearly he had been defending himself with this. I don’t know. I just saw one clip of a video where a woman. tried to i guess help one of the guys that was being targeted because it was there were i saw a white guy hit a white woman and then i saw a black guy hit a white guy i don’t know everybody’s throwing punches we’ll talk more about it tomorrow but it’s just we were running out of time this particular segment but we got to make sure there’s i mean is there there’s more video there’s a lot more video of this uh but we’ll return to it tomorrow kane today in stupidity all right it is leticia james one go ahead and play this because wow she’s so awesome

Today, Attorney General Bonta, Attorney General Dana Nessel, and I are co-leading a coalition of our fellow Democratic attorneys general in suing this administration to protect SNAP and the sensitive personal information of all of its recipients. The federal government’s demand that states turn over SNAP recipients’ data is flat-out illegal.
