We have a lot of great guests on. We try the first of every month to have the crew on from LT Arms. Normally Kyle is with us, the owner, but we didn’t tell him about today. We’re doing a secret recording without him. But we got a couple of the great guys there. We got Evan. And we’ve got Brandon with us. So, Evan, good to see you. Good to see you too, Scott. Brandon, you as well, sir. Thank you. Yeah, thanks for having us. All right, so what’s this last few months been like? I mean, you guys went from the old store to the new store. And when you’ve got room to and you can show stuff, it’s just a better feeling. feeling in there, isn’t it?

When people walk in, I would think. I don’t know if both of you got a comment, but what do you think? It’s a nice environment. It’s welcoming. It’s inviting. It looks kind of like an old gun library with the new storage laws that we have to adhere to with the Department of Revenue in Colorado and Firearms Dealer.
SPEAKER 04 :
uh situation that we’ve got we had to kind of uh change the way we show things the way we do things but we try to make it as pretty and as inviting as possible so yeah well you did a good job thank you for sure all right we’re gonna run through some things today they got a lot going on at lt arms if i highly recommend you follow them on social media they do some really cool posts there evan does some stuff on some reloading i know different things brandon kind of keeps you up to speed of what’s going on but from time to time different gunsmith will come on and just talk about I saw one the other day where y’all were talking about the worst cartridge ever. Yeah. So I’m never going to bring my 6.5 to have you work on it. But anyway, there are some fun times there on their social media, so be sure and give them a follow. All right. One thing you guys offer is one hour with a gunsmith. So, Brandon, I’ll let you take that. What purpose behind that and reasoning behind that? And have folks jumped on that?
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, we’ve had a lot of people interested. It’s kind of a nice way for people to come in if they want to learn more about how their gun actually works and sit down with a gunsmith and they can kind of give them a run-through on how everything operates, how to clean it, whether it’s a bolt gun or an AR-15. We offer classes where if you want to build your own AR-15, you can sit down. and have one of our gunsmiths kind of step-by-step go through with you how everything works, how it’s installed, and it kind of makes it nice because then that way you know where everything is and why it does what it does, and you can kind of do some self-servicing. It’s not always a good idea, but it does give you a little bit better education on how it actually operates, and you’re not just shooting blindly and having malfunction problems and wondering why it happens. It kind of gives you a little bit more background knowledge on your gun.
SPEAKER 04 :
And there are some people that love taking guns apart. I ain’t that guy. I’m just going to be honest with you. I’m like, I know Evan. No, the gunsmith’s over there. But I think it’s crucial, though, to seriously to know your gun and know what’s going on. Right, Evan?
SPEAKER 12 :
Absolutely agree with that 100%. The more education you have, the more safe you are.
SPEAKER 04 :
Mm-hmm. Because we’ve all been to Ranger. You see some guy’s got his pistol in his lap and he’s pointing it up at his head and he’s got it jammed or something, you know, and you’re like, dude, point that thing the other way, you know, because you just don’t know, you know, what’s going on there. So, yeah, just from a safety standpoint, first of all, just knowing.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, whether you want to be able to assess a small issue or field strip a 1911, know how to take a Glock slide off or anything like that, it does make it a little bit easier to understand what you’re doing and make safe decisions. And what’s that run that hour with the gunsmith, cost-wise?
SPEAKER 04 :
Do you know what I mean? Uh-oh, that got… All right, I stumped the guys.
SPEAKER 10 :
I know the AR build class is $200, and it does take about two hours. So, I mean, roughly, you know, $100 an hour. Okay, okay. But that would be time well spent, yeah.
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, yeah, absolutely. To get to know your gun, for sure. And, again, great team of gunsmiths there. Hey, we’re getting big game of the season. It’s going to be here before you know it. Don’t wait, all right, until two days before your season kicks off. If you need something, get over there now and let them know you heard them be here. And that’s no kidding.
SPEAKER 12 :
That’s no kidding. It is. Everybody’s at the threading jobs right now. Threading jobs, threading jobs, threading jobs.
SPEAKER 04 :
Don’t wait. so all this stuff with suppressors just now that you said threading remind me um we are seeing some changes in that as far as i believe next year the 200 tax stamp yep right now it doesn’t look like you’re gonna have to pay that um still got to go through the forms at this point right you do yeah okay have you guys seen some movement we’ve been getting a lot of interest in suppressors um
SPEAKER 10 :
a lot of people have been coming in and they, they want them before they, you know, there’s going to be a mad rush we’re thinking. And so a lot of people are coming in right now and trying to get them before they’re all on back order and you can’t get them. Some people we’re offering, if you want to purchase it right now and we can hold it in inventory, and then when the new law actually goes through and the $200 tax stamp gets dropped off, then they can come and pick it up. So we’re kind of holding them for some people, but some people still just want them now. They don’t mind paying the $200. It just depends on the customer.
SPEAKER 04 :
And, dude, I’ve heard stories where people have filled out things. And I heard one story where one guy on his way home got a text and said it was back, you know. Yeah. And there’s some in a few days and there’s some still that have been a month or two. But, I mean, overall, way quicker. I don’t care what scenario. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
One of our, one of our, I mean, I remember when I first started a little bit over a year ago, guys were waiting, you know, they’d come in and I’ve been waiting nine months. I’ve been waiting 11 months and I still haven’t gotten approved. And we had a gunsmith that did one last week at. Six o’clock at night. And it was, I mean, he got in the shop the next morning at seven and checked it and it was cleared. So like it was like a 24 hour turnaround. Wow. So not all of them are going that fast. Some of them, but at most we’re seeing is two weeks.
SPEAKER 04 :
And you guys help people through the process.
SPEAKER 10 :
We do. We have a silencer shop kiosk on site. And so we can do your fingerprints and do your pictures and set up your account and
SPEAKER 04 :
and then once you get approved and everything like that we can uh either you can come into the shop and we can certify all your paperwork live or we can also do it over the phone and do a remote login so okay it makes it really easy yep evan is with us from lt arms also brandon and uh once again this is a great great store um 8130 schaefer parkway unit c unit c all right look for the elk on the window really cool the mural of an elk on the window and uh again these this is just a great store if you haven’t been there or if you hadn’t been there over the last three months especially get by they move just directly across the street and uh just a great shop and classes um Man, I wish we had longer to talk about all this, but so many changes and just gun laws, different things that affected. Some of it just affected stores, but in turn affected everybody else, buying guns with taxes, different things like that. But one of the big changes was in CCW classes. So I’ll let everyone kind of talk about that.
SPEAKER 12 :
Concealed weapons regulations have changed. It requires, if you’re new, first time, it requires an eight-hour class. 50-round live fire qualification, and then you go do your app with the sheriff. We are able to do those classes on-site. Kyle, the owner, teaches those. He’s certified to do those, and we can also do your qualification on-site as well. Now, we don’t have a pistol range for public use, but we have our test fire areas and bullet bunkers and things like that in large enough range to where we can qualify you as well. Okay, cool. So, yeah, it’s the eight-hour class for new CCW applicants is 400. And then if you’re renewing, you’ve got to do a four-hour class now. This is going to become an annual thing, so keep that in mind so that we can do the four-hour class as well.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay.

And that’s two and a half.

We used to book online, but we found with everybody’s busy schedules these days, it’s easier for them to tell us when they want to do it, and we will accommodate their schedule. 720-727-0400. You mentioned AR-15s. What are you guys seeing in that market now? I mean, man, they seem to be you can’t find them anywhere. I mean, they’re really hot and prices go up and then they’re just not moving at all. What are you guys seeing in that platform?
SPEAKER 10 :
When the new law, the SB25, got signed in, we saw a really big jump over about a month, and then it kind of slowed down a little bit. But in the past few weeks, we’ve seen, I mean, we’ve had a lot of people coming in the store looking for them. And so we offer our own upper-lower handguards that we make in-house. We have them made through another company that machines them for us. But, yeah, so we can… you can come down and get us to build you a custom ar-15 with nlt arms lower receiver with our logo on it and it says littleton colorado just the fact that it says littleton colorado gets a lot of guys excited yeah no doubt they were going to buy you know an arrow or something they get they’re like i wanted to say colorado on it because you know pretty soon it’s not going to be able to say that that’s cool
SPEAKER 04 :
Now, another thing is, again, Kyle, your owner, always brainstorming. And back when we even first started our relationship, you guys were already making a custom rifle. And the brand of that is? Shikari. Shikari. All right. So I’ll let both you guys comment and take whatever aspects you want on it.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, it’s called Shikari because when you go to Africa, you go on a safari. And when you go to India, you go on Shikari. And the person that leads that is called the Shikari. So it’s like a safari leader, basically, is what a Shikari is.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, cool.
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s what the rifle brand is. We offer basically five different levels of the rifle. We have the Pathfinder, which is the intro level, and it is a composite stock. We do a cerakoted barrel, so it has a little bit more durability in the field and rust resistance and stuff like that. that’s our entry level we uh the next one is the paragon which is built on a kind of a combination of metal and wood a metal receiver with wood stock and forend and it’s built we’re doing them on wooks chassis so that’s our mid-level um our highest level is the pinnacle it is a full-on classic safari rifle nice wood stock the ones we’re doing right now have like floridally checkering in them and Nice blue barrel, traditional sights, things like that. And so we do those. We also are getting into the ELR PRS NRL Hunter long range shooting builds. And so we offer one of those. It’s the SPR, the Shikari precision rifle. And, I mean, those things, the one we just built is built on a carbon fiber MDT chassis with a Shaw barrel with a twist in it. It’s in 3378 Weatherby, so it’s in a really heavy caliber. That’s the owner’s rifle. He likes to shoot things that let you know you’re shooting them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And hit things a mile away. Oh, and hit things a mile away, yeah. They can, you know, 27 power scope on it and stuff like that. So, I mean, yeah. And those things, that’s like building a custom hot rod. They’re expensive, but they can get really expensive if you go crazy with carbon barrels and things like that. So those are the four bolt action builds. And we’re also doing, with our AR-15 receivers, we’re offering a… We’re calling it the woody maybe, the wood row.
SPEAKER 01 :
I don’t know.
SPEAKER 10 :
We haven’t decided yet. But it’s an AR-15, and we’re using wood furniture from Wooks and a couple other companies to do wood forend, wood pistol grip, wood stock. So it pretty much takes the AR-15 and eliminates all those pesky plastic parts and replaces them all with nice walnut. Yeah. It’s a really nice, you know, it’s a modern rifle with a classic look. It’s a pretty cool AR-15 build.
SPEAKER 12 :
We can do some neat Cerakote applications for those custom builds as well. Sky’s the limit. Your imagination is the only limitation. Our Cerakote, our color theorist and artist Cerakoting lead is just, he’s so talented. He made one look like wood grain all the way across because that’s how he wanted it to look. And it looks like, Cerakote looks like wood grain. Match the furniture. It’s fantastic. Really? That’s awesome.
SPEAKER 04 :
Optics, huge part of all this, you know, when you get into precision. And many people are shocked if they haven’t looked at it before. I need to spend how much for a good optic, you know, when the gun costs this much too? Because, I mean… The optic is probably, would you agree with this, going to cost more than the rifle in some cases? Oh, yeah, often happens. Sometimes they do, yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
I mean. Yeah, because, yeah, we have some stuff from Trijicon on the shelf, and, yeah, those, like a 25-power Trijicon is going to cost you more than most rifles. You’re going to be into at least $2,000. $2,300 is what the one, yeah. We have those. We have some really nice stuff from Leupold, of course. I mean, you have to have Leupold. And we just became a dealer for German Precision Optics, which not a lot of people are familiar with, but they do a really, really nice job. A little bit more affordable than a Trijicon. Still not cheap, but they do. It’s all German glass. So, I mean, you know, if people are familiar with like Swarovski and people like that, it’s… They’re really, really nice optics and relatively affordable. I won’t say cheap. They’re relatively affordable.
SPEAKER 04 :
Now, you guys are also, I think, going down for a Texas Trophy Hunter show. When is that?
SPEAKER 10 :
They are the first three weeks of August, so the weekend of the 1st, the weekend of the 8th, and I think the weekend of the 16th. The first weekend we will be down in Houston, and the second week is Dallas-Fort Worth area. I’ve been to the Fort Worth one, yeah. And then San Antonio is the third week. So, yeah, we’re going to have a couple guys from the shop down at each one. Exhibiting our custom rifles and kind of getting them out to a wider audience than just Littleton. It should be fun.
SPEAKER 04 :
A great, great show for you, for sure. Who are you guys just last few minutes here, but who are you guys kind of seeing come in the shop on a day-to-day basis? Are you seeing, you know, first-time gun buyers still? I mean, there for a while we were seeing a lot of that, you know, a couple years back, first-time gun buyers.
SPEAKER 12 :
Certainly seeing some first-timers still.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 12 :
And a lot of the hunting crowd were really more known as a hunting shop than anything. And, of course, people looking for gunsmithing work, you know, they realize that we’re a full retail operation too. Yeah. do uh got a lot of law enforcement uh officers coming in because the jefferson county sheriff substations just down the street about a quarter mile so do a lot of work with them um when they you know they buy back uh firearms we do the transfers for them on those kinds of things when they buy back from the agencies and we do a lot of repairs of course if it’s a concealed carrier and an agency uh duty piece we will turn that around immediately of course so they can get back in action um The first-time buyers are the best. I really like having the opportunity to speak with those people because their reasons are different. Some want to become hunters. Some want to pursue competition. Some are literally realizing for the first time that they are their own first responder, and we can help them make a selection, an educated decision on a firearm that they feel comfortable with for personal use, and we can help them with their CCW class, as I just mentioned.
SPEAKER 04 :
I tell you, I highly recommend everybody get your CCW permit while you can and get trained on it. It’s not the idea of just carrying a gun. Let me just clear that. It’s not the idea of just carrying a gun. There’s a lot that goes with it. We had our attorney on Kevin Flesch a few weeks ago. And I was talking to him about the deal in Boulder that happened. The guy was throwing the Molotov cocktails. I said, so what would have happened? One of us would have been walking down there with our wife or something. We saw that, and we shoot to go. You know, that’s doing it. well, Kevin said, well, first of all, your life’s going to change no matter what, you know, I mean, right. A hundred percent. Right. Or some people’s use, well, you could have shot him in the leg. I mean, you know, all the different second guess. And now with phones everywhere, you know, there’s going to be 15 million videos of the incident itself, but you do have to make a lot of decisions, you know, and quickly. And that’s what just kills me when people get on our police, men and women that are out there every day. I mean, I tell you what, I don’t know if you guys have ever done a ride-along, but, man, if you haven’t, do that. Because I’ve done this a couple times with Douglas County Sheriff. You know, you’re riding with him at 6 o’clock at night until 6 the next morning. Man, at 2 a.m., pull a car over, walk up, tinted windows, you can see nothing. If they’re getting out of a car at 2 a.m., they don’t know what that next 15 seconds holds.
SPEAKER 01 :
You know what I mean? Dude, I’m nervous.
SPEAKER 04 :
I’m sitting in the car. And so a lot goes on is what I’m trying to say. So, hey, it all starts, though, you know, with good training, you know, and it starts with getting a gun that fits you. And that’s the big thing is don’t just buy something because that’s what your friend got or that’s what fit them. I mean, go in and hold some guns, shoot some guns, see what fits you, because if you’re afraid to shoot it, It’s never going to work out for you, right, Evan? Absolutely. Absolutely true.
SPEAKER 10 :
So a great chance to get some classes. Go ahead. I was going to say, on the events that we’re doing, we also are offering classes through USCCA. They’re doing classes in the store, and they’re being led by Amanda Hardin from Lipstick Tactical.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay, yeah, I’ve seen her on your social media.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, we have classes with her coming up. There’s one on, I believe it’s August 26th, she has one that’s less lethal options. So if somebody’s kind of scared away from the whole thing of carrying a gun, she teaches less lethal things like how to use pepper spray and things like that. And she also does full-on handgun education and stuff like that. So, yeah, there’s a lot of options in the shop beyond just the permit. You don’t know if you want to get your permit, but you want to learn more possibly to lead you in that direction. We do offer some classes like when to use a gun, less lethal options, things like that. So, yeah, we have those going on too. Yeah.
SPEAKER 04 :
And I tell you what, hey, maybe if you’ve got a group of folks, hey, you know, group of gal friends, group of guy friends, maybe you’ve got a corporate thing you want to do, stop by LTR and just tell them what you’re thinking, all right? I’m telling you, if there’s guys that can make it happen, it’s these guys, all right? So they’ll figure something out for you. and maybe get a private class with your group, whatever the case may be. If you do get a group together, that overall cost, $400, $450, actually you can split it. It’s $20 for an additional person. So if you and four friends want to do it, you can split that initial cost between friends, and it brings the cost down and makes it a little bit cheaper. Wow, yeah. Oh, well, that’s cool. That’s something we’re offering, too.

We had our next guest on shortly after our Mile High Hunting Fish Expo this year that we had at the Gaylord. We have some news on that as well. But I tell you, I got a rifle from Seekin’s Precision recently and, man, finally picked out the optics I wanted. Got some loads even built for it, which you heard last week from our friends at LT Arms. And I’m telling you, just the range experience has been a total different experience from any rifle I’ve ever owned. So, Kevin Jones, that’s my opening. How are you, bud?
SPEAKER 09 :
Hey, I’m doing great. Thanks for having me on, Scott. I appreciate it.
SPEAKER 04 :
You bet. Man, I tell you, you know, it’s cool when you see something at an event like we have at the Mahi Hunting Fish Expo, and then you hold the rifle, you see it, you hear you explain it, and then when you get to squeeze that trigger and then you get to see bullets touch each other on a target because of the precision and accuracy that Seekins promises, that’s pretty cool, my friend.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, it’s pretty sweet. I’ve been in this industry just a shade under 10 years, and I can honestly say I really think Seekins builds probably one of the finest production rifles that money can buy. We want to make sure that our rifles can be put into the working man’s hands, right? Sometimes you enter into these custom rifles, and they can really break the bank, and you’ve got to shoot special custom loads or anything of that nature. For us, it’s really about… A guy should be able to have a high-quality rifle that just performs as well as he expects it. He should know and have the confidence. when he has a Seekins rifle in his hands that he knows it’s going to hit its mark.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, exactly. So for those that didn’t catch you the first time, and you’ll be back, and we’ll talk more about the Mile High Hunt and Fish Expo for next year, but kind of give us the rundown of the history of Seekins. And, you know, this is a competitive field. My word. I’ve never seen so many companies these last five to eight years that have come up, you know, about precision, long-range rifles. Oh, absolutely. Give us the precision story here, the Seekins precision.
SPEAKER 09 :
Absolutely. Yeah, Seekins basically got its start when Glenn Seekins, he had an opportunity on a trophy buck and missed his shot. And he went back to the drawing board and tried to figure out, you know, why did I miss my shot and what was going on? And he dove into it and he found out that his scope rings were failed him. They were not accurate enough. They were not built strong enough. Whatever the reasoning was, he found that that was the reason why he missed that shot. His scope did not hold zero. And so being kind of a machinist in that world, he was able to say basically to himself, well, I can do it better. And he developed a way to make scope rings that were very accurate and very lightweight. At the time, you either had lightweight, poorly made scope rings, you know, that would not hold zero or wouldn’t hold your scope tight enough to the rifle, especially when you’re shooting those higher magnums. Or you had really heavy, like all steel tactical rings that just weighed down your rifle when you’re trying to hunt. So he tried to find that happy medium of a very, very well-made aluminum rifle scope rings that are just made to very tight tolerances. And so through those processes, that’s how he kind of got the start. He basically ended up machining these parts in his own shop, and then he started renting machines out. And then eventually, you know, grew enough of the business to basically get into a incubator building in the port of Lewiston. And he started getting into the gas guns. That’s the AR platform stuff. Started making parts, then started making complete rifles and And then about, I’d say, 10 years ago, moved the company to the top of Lewiston right up here by the airport and has just been growing the company ever since from the development of our gas guns to our SP-10 program. That’s our large frame gas guns. That’s like .308, .65 Creedmoor. And then about seven or eight years ago, the Havoc was born. That’s our bolt-action rifles. And that’s really what’s been blowing up for Seekins the last six or seven years is just our bolt guns have really taken both the hunting world and now we’re getting more into the tactical side with our heavier chassis rifles and things like that and just building a very, very well-made product, whether it’s scope rings to a complete rifle.

Two of the guys, they said, man, we were wondering if you just got a case from them. I said, why? And they go, it’s so light that we couldn’t believe it. And so I’ve got it suppressed now. I’ve got the optics on and everything. And, Bud, I’m telling you, and I told you before, I shoot a 300-weathery mag most of my life. And, son, this feels like a third of that. you know? Oh my gosh. Yeah.

And it just feels so nice, man. I cannot wait for fall to get here, but it is just such lightweight. And that’s one thing that you guys, you know, and let’s just be honest, as I mentioned before, a lot of competition here. What do most people claim? Hey, accuracy and quality you know but no absolutely and and i haven’t handled every gun right if it’s not accurate then you what good is it right right right and so what’s what what do you think is the seeking’s um uh secret sauce so to speak and and what you want to say there as far as from action you know to quality of of barrels and and actions and different things like that
SPEAKER 09 :
What sets us apart from anybody else that’s in the same realm or even in the same space as us, whether it’s a quality or it’s a price thing, whatever that case may be, is that we build everything on that rifle 100% in Lewiston, Idaho, under one roof, period. End of story. There are not a lot of companies today that can say that that is occurring under one roof. Usually, the outsourcing has to happen. If you want to scale, you typically will have to contract out some of your parts and components. And then now you are dealing with that other machine shop’s tolerances, their ability to make quality components. And now you can’t control that on your end. You know, you can give them the spec sheet, you can give them the tolerance parameters or whatever that may be, but they’re going to have a tolerance. And then you’re just stuck with the parts that you get, right? So for us, we can control every stage of those parts from start to finish raw material to a completed product under one roof. So We also have a very, very high test rate. Essentially, you know, we build, I’m going to just say 20 actions, right? We’re going to test probably one out of the six of them and verify all specs and all the components and everything that fits into those is within Seekin specifications, our tolerance, our quality expectations. And then that way, when that gun goes together at the end of the rainbow, it is the best bolt action rifle that money can buy. And there are not a lot of companies that can say that they do that to the scale that we’re trying to get to. So to give you an idea, when I first started working for Seekins about three years ago, we were shipping about 150-ish rifles a week. Right now, we are going to be probably hitting around 400 rifles a week in the three years I’ve been here and have increased the quality of the product. most companies cannot say that they do that either. Most companies have to find a way to make something cheaper and faster. We found a way to make it faster, but increase the quality and make it a better product for the end user. So now all of our actions have switch barrel systems. So Scott, you got a, you got a seven PRC, right? You say, Kevin, I, you know, I think I want to shoot a 300 for some reason. I got this hunt going on and I need to just blow whatever it is a buffalo hunter a bison hunter whatever it is and you say i got to shoot a 300 i’m a great scott if you if you’ve got a seven allen riches at home you can swap that barrel yourself um in the comfort of your own home very easily you just have to have the barrel and you put it on and wham bam thank you ma’am you’re ready to hit the wind hit the wind so that’s really um super cool that we’ve done this year with the new actions new updates is we found a way to make our rifles faster, but in a better way. We’re not cutting corners. We’re just trying to find a better way to make it. And it comes with our name, Unrivaled Innovation, right? That’s our tagline. You see it on our poster boards or whatever that may be. And that’s a legit thing. We really do strive to make a better product, even if it was already a great product.

Yeah, absolutely. All right. So let’s kind of run through your lineup here real quick. You mentioned the Havoc Bolt guns and you’ve gotten into some AR stuff here, but kind of just kind of walk us through from maybe, maybe entry level type deal up to.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah.

Yeah.
SPEAKER 09 :
Absolutely. So all of Seekin’s bolt guns are called Havocs. It’s just a product family name. And then our flagship rifle, this is the one that comes in at $18.95. That is really what we call our working man’s gun. This is the guy that wants the nicest rifle he can afford and may not be able to afford the $10,000 rifle. And this one comes in, it’s the PH3. And we offer a a flurried number of calibers and barrel lengths and options and colors. So that’s to give that guy plenty of choices to pick from to meet his needs, whatever it may be. If he’s running a suppressor, if he’s not running one, he just cares about ballistical performance, we’ve got some options for him. So there’s a lot of choices in the PH3 lineup. And that way the guy can kind of pick and choose what he would like to roll with. He’s got those options. The next step up is our Element M3. That is the one that comes with a carbon fiber barrel and an aluminum action. That’s the one you got, Scott. That one is a lightweight, purpose-built gun. That gun is designed to maximize a lightweight rifle but still a high-performing gun. A lot of other companies, when they build a lightweight gun, they are trying to build a lightweight gun and forget that they’re still needing to build an accurate rifle. So we try to balance that. We want to make sure that rifle is balanced properly. appropriately for the performance that you expect out of a precision rifle, but still have the lightweight savings that you need. Then the next step up is our Element Hunter. It’s basically the Element M3 that I just described, but in a lightweight chassis. So it’s got a folding chassis, the stock folding Folds over across the bolt knob, protects it when it’s in a case or a bag. Very easy to deploy. We hold that tolerance nice and tight, so there’s no buttons to release the stock when you’re unfolding it. You just pull it away from the gun, and it clicks into place, and away you go. You’re ready to hit the wind. And so that’s probably those top, that’s usually going to be hitting those top tier guys. Those ones come in at $3,200. The Element M3 in the normal stock, that one comes in at $2,895. And then that’s really rounds out our hunting rifle lineup. For our more precision rifle or our law enforcement really geared customers, we have our Havoc Hit Pro M3. So what that is is that’s a 12-pound gun. That is not one you want to be carrying very often through the woods or anything like that. You will be in pain on that one. But if you’re looking for ultimate precision long-range shooting or you’re with a law enforcement agency or you just want to have that range, that gun not move for any reason, that’s really what you’re going to be looking for. It features a heavy profile barrel, an all-aluminum chassis, has M-lock slots on the front, a folding stock as well, just like the Element Hunter, but You get the cheek adjustments, length of pull adjustments. You get a lot more creature comforts for that rifle. And that’s really, that rounds out all of our Havoc bolt guns. We do have a SLAM rifle, which comes through our custom shop. It’s very similar to the Element Hunter, but it comes with all the Gucci things that guys would want. You know, full carbon fiber skins. They get accuracy tested. They can pick and choose colorways. If they want a particular barrel length, um, or an option that we have that they want to take advantage of, they can pick and choose that one. So that one comes in at 46 50. Um, and we launched that one about two years ago. And then we had a lot of our retail partners want something a little more palpable on the shelf. So we came out with the element Hunter this year, which is the production version of the slam. So a lot of options to pick from a lot of fun stuff to check out. We have it all on our website. Um, In the gas gun lineup, we have our NX-15. That’s just our 16-inch rifle, .223, basically just a good duty-built gun. If you’re looking for a lightweight AR-15, that’s a really good one to look for.

What’s that one come in weight-wise, just roughly?
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s probably just at around 6 pounds for a lightweight 16-inch rifle. It’s an all-around good rifle, right? It’s got a slim profile handguard. It’s got lightened receiver sets, billet both upper and lower, ambidextrous magazine release, and ambidextrous safety as well. So some really cool features at a really good price point. Then we have our DMR rifle, which is basically just an accurized version of the NX-15. It has a little bit heavier. This gun comes in a little bit heavier than the NX-15, but it’s designed to be a very precision-built 5.56. But we also do it in 6-arc and, I believe, 22-arc. So some small-frame gas gun options. And then the SP-10 rifle. is our large frame that one comes in at six creed six five creed or 308 um and that one’s a very popular for um precision shooting with a gas gun um or hunting you know if you want to hunt with um with a semi-auto that’s a good one to go with um we also have an sp10m which is our what i call our military or law enforcement contract gun um these this this rifle has actually won a socom contract about four or five years ago um it was being deployed by tier one tier two socom units And we’re just looking to continue to grow that product lineup as well. So, yeah, a lot of offerings from us. We make our own scope rings and scope mounts. um, make a lot of other accessories. You know, we do our own carbon fiber, a hundred percent in house. So, um, you know, we, we, we gotta get to, we gotta get you out here for some time, Scott, and do a tour and show you, show you how we make everything.

No, you know, I was actually reading this morning about your experience that you offer there. And I was like, well, I’m not going to ask him on air, but I’m going to talk to him after. Cause I’m like, man, that sounds like a pretty neat deal.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s just really, it’s just the tour, man. Um, it’s, it’s really one of those things where, um, Before COVID, it actually was an extensive experience, and then we just started getting busier. We didn’t slow down through COVID. Other companies closed into a shell. We expanded. We added new machines and robots and just turned the gas on. So since then, we’ve kind of had to slim down that experience. Really, what we tell folks is anybody is welcome to come get a tour from Seekin. So you can come down. You know, whether you’re here in Lewiston or if you are driving through the area, whatever you want to do, you just swing by and we’ll give anybody off the street a tour and we’ll show you how we take a raw material and make a completed product. You’ll see every step of the process from square one all the way to it’s in a box and it’s going out the door.

Well, I tell you, like I say, just from my experience of my first one with you here, not only from just, you know, getting it and shooting it and the precision of it. And again, the gun store that I was working with on this LT Arms guys over there were just they could not believe the finish. Just everything about it. They just couldn’t believe how nice it was, you know.
SPEAKER 09 :
We definitely take pride in our rifles, and it shows, man. We have a lifetime warranty. If you break it, if you snap it, if you fall off a cliff or a hill or something, Scott, and you land on your gun, you break that stock, you just mail it to me, and I’ll build you a new one. It’s just basically what the right thing to do is. If somebody’s got your product, you want them to be in love with it and always cherish it and These are heirloom pieces. I’ve got guys that call me all the time. I’ve got six of your guns, and two of them are going to my boys, so I’ve got to buy two more. And it’s one of those things that the Seekins customers are some of our best salespeople. And our running joke around here is my title is sales account manager, but it’s more like an expectations manager, to be honest with you, because our guns sell themselves, and then our Seekins customers sell our rifles for us. know five to eight years on our havoc rifles is we’ve just built a very good quality rifle and we take care of the customer that has any issues or has any questions maybe they maybe they didn’t know they need a nicer scope maybe they have a cheaper scope and they were they couldn’t understand and but instead of saying well it’s your scope walk them through that hey this is why these scopes cost more and this is you know it has nothing to do with the rifle but we’re going to help that customer understand that it’s a rifle system right It’s a scope. It’s a scope ring. It’s the ammunition. It’s the gun. And the last thing is the shooter. Hey, how are you shooting this thing? Well, I’m shooting it off the hood of my truck. Okay, well, that’s probably why you’re not getting super accurate grouping. Let’s talk about that. And, you know, so we always have this customer experience and customer satisfaction guarantee as well. So we want to make sure our product is your favorite product, whether it’s scope rings or whether it’s a complete rifle. That’s a goal of ours. And everyone here at Seacon’s number one job, whether it be a coding department, machine shop guy, is customer service, is to take care of that customer in any way we can. We will move heaven and earth. And you can see that in some of our YouTube videos and how we describe it is that we really, really do cherish and value our customer. And we know that that customer is our number one priority because they are our best salespeople, right? They are our best people to talk really good things about our rifles and And we want to make sure that they are happy as can be.

Yep. And here’s one thing I appreciate, just to be honest with you. And, I mean, I’m a sales guy, I guess. You know, I was in the retail furniture business forever. Folks, everybody needs to go to the EPA website and check out the contaminated candidate list. There’s unregulated contaminants that have been in our drinking water forever. And what that means is that municipalities don’t have to test for them. So we have 1,4-dioxin. It’s an unregulated contaminant that’s been in the water supply since the early 1900s. We have synthetic estrogen that’s in our water supply. We have pesticides, herbicides in our water supply. So this is something that educate yourself. Well, I appreciate that. I know it’s going to be fast and furious, but we just got out of a furbearer working group meeting at 6060 Broadway where a bunch of us are sitting in and having ongoing conversations about how to maybe address the concern from certain individual groups about furbearer harvest and to see if there needs to be any restrictions and or prohibitions about that classification of 17 species of furbearers in the state and This is our second meeting. It’s an ongoing process that CPW has initiated through the Parks and Wildlife Commission, and while we sit on one side of the aisle, there’s a bunch of other individuals sitting on the other side of the aisle, and we haven’t come to any sort of a consensus or resolve at this point in time, but this is something that will probably drag out through January, March, or May of next year, depending on how it plays out. Sportsmen need to pay attention, be aware, and Get ready to step up to the plate again when the time comes.

So Outdoorsman Days, it’s the third annual Outdoorsman Days. It’s August 8th and 9th. and Pathfinder Regional Park down in Florence, Colorado. It’s actually the 50th anniversary of the Colorado Trappers and Predator Hunters Association. And as you well know, I’m the president of that association as well as the executive director for CRWM. But we got a full two days of opportunities for people to get engaged. And we’ve got seminars and demonstrations and archery competitions with Valor Archery Challenge. And we’ve got gold panning and chuckwagon dinners and hunter education classes that CPW is doing. I think they’re booked up, but they’ve got 40 individual students, not just kids, but students on Friday and 40 on Saturday. And there’s game processing seminars and wild game skinning seminars, horse packing seminars. There’s, like I said, archery competitions, along with a wild game calling contest that will be on Friday night at It is sponsored by Western Hunt Fest, and that’s guide to planche. And so they do the pack-em-out challenges as well. But they’re going to be there. We’ve got the truck wagon dinners on Friday night. And, you know, there’s just a ton of stuff going on. Plus we culminate the whole deal with a Saturday night banquet. We’ve still got some tickets available. And the banquet is what helps get us to a level to participate in all these other events. boards and committees and forums and working groups and stuff, in addition to preparing for interaction and engagement and representation at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission and at the General Assembly, and eventually at the ballot, if we need to go that route like what we did last year when we were victorious on Proposition 127. Right.

You know, Will and I were talking real quick on the chuck wagon deal. I said, dude, if you want to really feel like the old west to go there and watch those people cook and look at, man, they look like they just walked out of your favorite western, don’t they?
SPEAKER 13 :
Oh, they really do. It’s just like watching Lonesome Dove. Cattle drive on the Chisholm Trail or something. I mean, there’s six old-fashioned chuck wagons that come in and supply the food on Friday night. And tickets for that are available on a first-come, first-served basis at $30 apiece. That’s different from the Saturday night banquet. And then the Chuckwagon guys will be there serving lunch on Saturday, August 9th. Again, different from the banquet. Tickets for that are $30 a piece. And if you haven’t experienced an old-time Chuckwagon, I mean, I tell you what, this is kind of like going back in time. And you’ll see some mountain men running around doing their tomahawk lessons and they’re throwing and then they’ll have some trade goods. And it’s a This is a historical component of Western history and expansion throughout the Western United States. And Colorado was an intricate part of that. And what we’ve done on the tradition and heritage side is try to educate people and get people involved in conservation and understanding the North American model of wildlife conservation as well. And we’ve got a ton of presenters, Scott. I mean, guys that I’ll name some of them off. So we’ve got Fred Eichler. And Dallin Staker. We’ve got Ralph and Vicki Ciancirillo from Archer’s Choice Media. We’ve got Ray Livingston off the Mountain Men Series. We’ve got Jermaine Hodge, world champion elk caller. We’ve got Laramie Sasquatch Miller, Doug Barnes, Heidi Stout, Sarah Sutherland, who is Miss Rodeo Colorado. We’ve got a plethora of different activities for kids and adults alike, whether you’re a novice or whether you’re an expert.
