Guys, there’s so much to get to. It’s absolutely insane. Obviously, you’ve got the Trump. Putin meeting up in Alaska. Zelensky is headed to the White House today. We’re going to be talking about that. And actually, guys, listen, I view that as a positive thing. A lot of people may not. I do. So I’ll put my spin on that also. D.C. crime redistricting. We’re getting into all of it. I guess let me let me start here. Here’s something that’s happening. And I want to kind of lay the table. I want to lay the foundation. I want to give you a different perspective, if you will. And that is, I think what the Democrats are trying to do, and I think it’s going to fail miserably, quite frankly. But I believe what the Democrats are trying to do is they want to put Trump on the ballot in 2026. Obviously, those of you that are in the listening audience, you’ve been listening to Mike Gallagher for a long time. You’ve been listening to Salem Media. You understand how this works, all right? So the midterm elections normally do not go well for the sitting president, for the party that’s in power. Guys, listen, I don’t want to make any crazy predictions, but I do believe a tide is shifting in such a way Trump is exposing Democrats at every single level that I think there’s a great possibility that we keep the House and the Senate in 2026. And I want to explain that. I just want you to think about this. Let’s start with the D.C. crime. And again, I know that the Trump hosting Zelensky, that’s the big news today. I promise we will get to it. And a lot of people, again, a lot of naysayers, oh, look at what Trump did. inviting Vladimir Putin, Vladimir Putin and the Beast. He’s playing President Trump. No, actually, it wasn’t President Trump that was allowing our allies to buy oil from Russia so that they were essentially funding the war against Ukraine. That was Joe Biden who wanted us to get into a war with Russia for election purposes or re-election purposes. So we’ll get into that. I get so many… Ooh, so many opinions on that. But I do want to talk about the D.C. crime. I know this is a little bit different. I want to talk about D.C. crime, and I know that’s probably a bit of a shift from what you were expecting. Again, the big news of the day, obviously, Zelensky visiting the White House, deadly shooting in a crowded New York City nightclub. I see that it’s just popped up, so we’ll get into that as well. But it’s only getting worse. The top five media fails of Trump 2.0. This was a story by Joe Concha. written in the Washington Examiner, crime in Washington, D.C. ain’t so bad. This is what the Democrat Party wants you to believe. And every time the Democrat Party goes against Trump, they essentially expose themselves and they’re telling you what they don’t want to do for you. So I am I don’t want to go so far out as to make a prediction. But what the left is trying to do again is to put Trump on the ballot in 2026. And again, as I I’ll reiterate, that typically the midterm elections do not go well for the party of the sitting president. I think that’s going to change. Guys, I want you to imagine this. I want you to imagine a Democrat cheer, if you will. What do we want? Robberies. When do we want them? Now. What do we want? Carjackings. When do we want them? Now. Essentially, that is what the Democrat Party is doing. That is what President Trump is able to expose simply because they hate the man so badly that they cannot think straight. And this is a man that is fighting them on every single level. This is something that they’re not used to. So we’re going to get into the D.C. crime. D.C. crime is out of control. I am so happy that President Trump federalized D.C. I think it’s important. It’s our nation’s capital. I personally believe that D.C. should be the cleanest place should be the safest city in the entire world, not just the United States of America, but the entire world. If our politicians are there, our world’s leaders are there, our American leaders are there, there is no way they should have to be worried about crime. Frankly, there’s no way that the citizens should have to be worried about crime. And black people, listen up. Let’s be honest. It’s a predominantly black area. What is the Democrat Party saying to you when they’re saying, hey, we can’t stand what Trump is doing in D.C.? He’s an authoritarian. No, he’s not. I’m not an authoritarian. There is no governor in the district of D.C. He has the federal authority to do so. But what the left is afraid of, they’re afraid that things might work, that this just might work. That’s what they’re afraid of. That’s what they’re scared of. That’s what they’re scared of. And so I want you to understand that Trump is exposing the left at every single level. They cannot stand it. They do not like it. And they’re falling prey to it. Let me just read some of some of what Joe Contra wrote in the in the examiner. He says, crime in Washington, D.C. ain’t so bad. Basically clowning the left. It goes on to say, fact check, violent crime in D.C. has fallen in 2024 and 2025 after a 2023 spike. That’s CNN. That’s CNN’s fact check. The New York Times write, Trump misstates Washington crime data to justify takeover. Several problems, he writes. For starters, juvenile crime stats are not listed. Guys, I’m going to get into some details, horrible details of a reporter from the Washington Examiner, as a matter of fact, that was actually sexually assaulted in D.C. and the crime was not put on the stat sheets. I mean, it’s absolutely insane. So you’ve got juvenile crimes that are not being reported. You’ve got assault crimes, felony assault, aggravated assault crimes that are not being reported. They have to meet a certain level. I guess you have to be knocked out on the street bleeding and about dead. In order to get reported as a stat, he says these numbers account for a sizable chunk. The juvenile crime he’s speaking of, carjackings, car theft, gang-related violence, including homicides. Also, these numbers are not to be trusted. The Washington Free Beacon’s Elena Goodman reported… that D.C. has, quote, quietly settled a lawsuit from a sergeant who accused the Metropolitan Police Department of misclassifying offenses to deflate crime stats. Guys, they were caught. The Metro Police Department was caught deflating crime numbers just weeks before President Trump decided to federalize D.C. Just weeks before. And I want to get into this. I want to dive into this. I want to dive into more of President Trump’s successes. And again, we’ll get to Zelensky. We’ll get to Putin. But I think all of this. Listen, I don’t believe that these stories exist in a vacuum. Every single story. Oh, Trump and Epstein. Oh, Trump is a stooge to Putin. All right. Oh, the the strike on Iran. It didn’t work. These are things that Joe Contra writes about. I want to take every single one of them. Terrorists will destroy the economy. So far, that isn’t happening. I want to be I want to make this clear, though. I do believe here’s here’s what you need to understand about terrorists. In the long run, those tariffs are going to make America stronger. They’re going to make America safer. It does mean that some things are going to go up in price. But right now, it’s not hurting the economy. It’s not hurting inflation. And long term, it’s going to be better for all Americans. We’re going to be safer. We’re going to be stronger as a result of these. And people got to speak the truth about this stuff. It’s all about getting Trump. Again, the goal is to put Trump on the ballot in 2026. And I think Democrats are going to regret doing this because all they’re doing is attacking Trump. This is such a stupid media narrative that they’re coming here tomorrow because Trump is going to bully Zelensky into a bad deal. We’ve been working with these people for weeks, for weeks on this stuff. They’re coming here tomorrow because they chose to come here tomorrow. We invited them to come. We invited them to come. The president invited them.

All right, so that’s Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and I’m telling you, that guy has found his lane. When it comes to Marco Rubio as a senator, I thought he was good. I wasn’t thoroughly impressed with him, but I thought he was good. But as Secretary of State, I mean, this guy is excellent. I mean, he obviously he understands he understands the world. Frankly, he understands war. God forbid, you know, if need be. It’s very he’s very articulate. It’s important to understand worldview ideologies. He understands that, obviously, with his heritage from Cuba. I mean, he’s just so good at this. Now, Margaret Brennan, so they want to bully Zelensky. I guess Joe Biden basically inviting Putin to invade Ukraine, I guess that’s not bullying. I guess that’s not bullying. Margaret Brennan didn’t seem to care too much about that. I guess Joe Biden, just putting the kibosh, on much of our own drilling in the United States here when it came to oil, fossil fuels, so on, etc. And that way, the European Union was completely reliant on Vladimir Putin for their oil, thereby funding the war against Ukraine. I guess that’s not bullying. I think, is this MSNBC? Is that what Margaret Brennan is on? By the way, if it is MSNBC, they’re coming up with a new name. It’s now going to be called MS. I just saw this break on X. And I’m not joking. I want to make sure that I share it. But it is going to be called MS. MSNBC is changing its name to MS, now short for MySource.com. for news, opinion, and the world. I think BS is more fitting, but I guess they’re going to change it to MS. Let’s go to another cut. I want to play cut number four. This is General Jack Keane. He’s talking about the security guarantees. in the form of Article 5. This is a huge deal. This is a big deal. So President Trump is in playing. I pray to God that things don’t escalate and they begin to de-escalate. And frankly, we have the right man in office to try to de-escalate tensions. A lot of discussion tomorrow is going to center around one of the positive things that has come out of the Friday meeting. And that is security guarantees were asked for and Putin said yes. That’s a reasonable approach. That’s a statement, it’s not action. but it’s something that has never been said before and a lot of time on monday is going to be devoted to what those security guarantees are and if those security guarantees take take the form of article 5 like troops on the ground backed up by air power to make certain that to provide a deterrence against putin advancing we have a ceasefire there’s uh some kind of a permanent agreement in place and you have those security guarantees that it holds in place. If that is real and it takes form, that is a game changer in of itself.

Okay, so there you have General Jack Keane. That is a huge, that is a huge game changer. And frankly, it’s a little scary to me, to be honest with you, because I’m not impressed with our NATO allies as they exist right now. I mean, we saw UK and France caving to the anti-Semites, to the Islamists in their countries, talking about they’re going to recognize a Palestinian state, which, by the way, doesn’t even exist anymore. But the U.K. and France wants to recognize them because they’re being bullied. So this this I got to I got to tell you, this brings me a little this is a little disconcerting simply because I don’t necessarily trust our European our European allies. I mean, I I’m thankful for what President Trump is doing to make them strengthen themselves and wake up and to make sure that they are providing security for themselves, bolstering security. up their own weaponry in the event that there’s any type of invasion, so on, etc. So thank God for that. But I’m not impressed by NATO at this point. So listen, obviously, this is going to be the news of the day. This is big news of the day. So we’ll continue to stay on it. But I do want to go back to the D.C. crime because I want to make sure that we get to that again. President Trump, this is a huge story. This is a big deal. And this is President Trump putting the Democrat Party on their heels again and exposing the left for who they are. These people apparently they’re obsessed with crime and you understand that crime benefits the left just like poverty benefits the left i say this all the time i say this all the time the democrat party they’re not successful unless you’re unsuccessful they need you to be dependent upon the democrat party they need you to thirst for their power look at ma’am danny Moron Mam Danny in New York City. Look at him. Oh, I’ll give you all this free stuff. I’ll give you all this free stuff. These people not realizing, well, yeah, it’s not going to be free because you’re going to pay for it in taxes. But I’m going to say it because I want more power and I want to keep you mad. I want to keep you emotional so that you’re voting for me. But my policies don’t work. And what the left has to contend with is they’re trying to demonize Trump as Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump. When Trump is exposing their policies. And this is what the D.C. crime is about. Anna Giratelli. Anna Giratelli is a writer, reporter for the Washington Examiner. And I’ve told her story. I’ve done a podcast with her. We’re going to have a special encore presentation. She picked out what she thought was a safe area, safe neighborhood, walking to her mailbox one day. to drop off some mail, sexually assaulted by a homeless man in broad daylight. In broad daylight. And she had to literally scream, yell, fight, kick, do whatever she could. Eventually, there was a construction worker, I believe by the name of Donnie, that was able to get the man off of her. But this was a blue-collar guy that came to her rescue. The guy eventually served time in federal prison, but that was only after I think it took a couple of months to find him. He left some DNA evidence behind, sadly, but but he did. And thank God that was something that the D.C. Metro Police Department did right. But one of the things that the one of the reasons why and as you’re telling of the Washington examiner, moved into the particular neighborhood that she moved into in the D.C. area is because when you purchase or rent property, apparently there’s some type of maps that tells you where crime is prevalent, where crime is not so bad, where crime is virtually nonexistent. She picks the place where crime is allegedly virtually nonexistent. She gets sexually assaulted. You know what she finds out? You know what she finds out? She finds out that the Metro Police Department never, never included her case on their website afterwards. In other words, there are crimes that are happening in Washington, D.C. that the Metro Police Department refused to put on their website, refused to call out. There is no accountability in that sense. So God knows how many sexual assaults, rapes, robberies, carjackings that are occurring that you never even hear about. And Trump comes in and he has the audacity to want to make Washington, D.C. beautiful and safe. And the left says, no, no, not here. We want more people carjacked. We want more black people to be robbed and killed. It is the craziest thing ever. It is the craziest thing ever. And this is why I sit here and say what the left is trying to do is put Trump on the ballot in 2026. And I believe it’s going to fall flat. I believe it’s going to fall flat. But I believe it’s a good thing for Republicans because normally the president isn’t on the ballot. But with the policies that Trump is putting forward, I think he will be on the ballot, metaphorically speaking, and that’s going to hurt the Democrat Party. Carl Jackson in for Mike Gallagher. I just consider the border. Look at what President Trump has done to the border. Right here, my formerly fingerprinted fingertips. All right, this from the Washington Times. Listen to this. No more de facto amnesty. Trump cuts deportation court backlog for the first time in almost 20 years. Okay, we talked about D.C. crime. I’ll circle back to that. We’re going to talk about the borders. And then we’ll talk about redistricting. All of these exist together. We can tie them all together. What Trump is doing is fascinating. And I hear people say it oftentimes, especially on the left, he’s being political. I don’t understand why that’s a bad thing. That’s his job. To be political is his job. To get stuff done, that’s… So I don’t understand why that’s a bad thing in the first place. But what Democrats, I think, are essentially saying is, oh, crap, his policies. His policies are working. Let’s make sure that we keep demonizing the guy so people will be mad at him, so people will hate him, and people will avoid talking about his policies. Let’s talk about Jeffrey Epstein, pervert that deserved exactly what he got. Guys, let’s just have some common sense here. If there’s any other pedophile on any type of list that exists— I hope they get their comeuppance. I really do. All right. I hope their genitals fall off. That’s the way that I feel. All right. I can’t stand perverts. I can’t stand pedophiles or are these guys that are dating these underage. It’s wrong. All right. Completely got it. We know that Trump. is not hurt by the Epstein stuff because we know that Democrats would have just simply used that rather than creating crossfire hurricane, rather than creating the Russia gate, the Obama gate hoax. We all know now that it went all the way, and frankly, I suspect it all along, but we know now conclusively or definitively that it went all the way up to Obama. Washington Times. Trump cuts deportation court backlog for the first time in almost 20 years. Why would this be devastating to the left? I mentioned it many times before. Obviously, the left needs a permanent underclass. The left is still into slavery. They can’t give it up. They’ve not been able to give it up. I mean, you talk about 400 years, even though the country hasn’t existed that long, but that’s what the left says. They’ve not been able to give it up. It’s their pride and joy. It’s their baby boy, apparently. They want a bunch of illegals to come into the United States because they want them to be a permanent underclass. They don’t want them to assimilate. They want to demonize Republicans and hopefully use illegals against Republicans to gain more power in Washington, D.C. It’s really that simple. You get illegals, you get illegals, more illegals inside of the United States. What do you get? The left knows it. You’re listening to the Mike Gallagher show. You know it, but I’ll reiterate it anyway. You get more federal funding. Particularly if a Democrat is in office, just like Joe Biden gave California federal funding basically so that they could survive, so that they could be this communist experiment in the United States of America. But now that Trump is in. california is i mean they’re just falling by the wayside now they were they were already in significant debt so on etc but while biden was in the federal government will bail them out trump isn’t playing that game so the left needs illegal immigration because they want more electoral college points when it comes to the elections they want more representation in the house of representatives All right. And man, there’s another one. And now I’m missing. Now I’m missing it. So they get more federal funding. Oh, seats in the House. Seats in the House of Representatives. So this is why the left wants illegal immigration. It’s not because they care. about these illegals that come across the border. It’s because they care about retaining or growing their power. It’s really that simple. Going back to this Washington Times piece, President Trump took the adage about finding yourself in a hole and stopping digging to heart, at least when it comes to illegal immigration. When his almost miraculous improvements at the southern border have resulted in the first sustained decrease in the immigration court backlog in nearly two decades. I want you to hear that again. When it comes to illegal immigration, where President Trump’s almost miraculous improvements at the southern border have now resulted in the first sustained decrease in the immigration court backlog in nearly two decades. In little more than six months, Trump paired the Biden era backlog of more than 4.2 million pending cases before immigration judges down to 3.8 million. 4.2 million, Carl, down to 3.8. I mean, come on, that’s not that much, is it? It’s just been six months, guys. Some of that is because of better efficiency in the immigration courts, according to The Washington Times, officially known as the Executive Office for Immigration Review. However, the columnist writes, the real change has been the drop in new cases. A senior Justice Department official says, quote, That is entirely due to President Trump’s policies securing the border, the official told the Times. It’s not a novel concept. Enforcing the law rather than ignoring it really does work to reduce illegal immigration and the backlog. Wow, what a novel idea. Enforce the law. Last year under Biden, listen to this. These are the numbers. The government averaged nearly 150,000 new cases each month. Think of that. The federal government that can’t do anything right gets 150,000 new cases at the end of each month. All right, just real quick, getting to this situation, this de facto amnesty. So Trump cuts the deportation court backlog for the first time. in almost two years so when you first hear the number you’re like ah maybe it’s i mean trump is doing all right uh but 4.2 million and 3.8 million pending cases That doesn’t seem like that much. Oh, that’s a heck of a lot. Let me give you an example. Hat tip again. Washington Times, last year, under Biden, the government, or under the auto pen, let’s be honest, the government averaged nearly 150,000 new cases each month, as I was saying before the break. So 150,000 new cases of illegals that have come into the country every single month. This is the federal government we’re talking about. Can you guys out there guess the workload of the 150,000 cases every single month? How many of those illegals actually stood before a judge?

So 90,000 never even made it in front of a judge. even if the judge was a left-wing radical. Now, here’s the difference with President Trump. Since January, the courts have averaged just 29,000 new cases monthly, and they’ve completed more than 65,000. Under Joe Biden, 150,000 cases monthly. Under Trump, 29,000. And those aren’t new people coming in. The Executive Office for Immigration Review data is another yardstick of Trump’s staggering impact on immigration and the decisions of would-be illegal immigrants, according to the Washington Times. who for the first time in modern history aren’t attempting to breach the border in any significant number. The Department of Homeland Security said that Border Patrol agents recorded, listen to these numbers, 116 arrests along the 1,954-mile stretch of the southern border. In December 2023, at the auto pins, Joe Biden’s border surge, Agents average more than 8,050 daily arrests. Since Trump, just to hear those numbers again, Border Patrol agents recorded 116 arrests along the 1,954-mile southern border one day last month. Do you know how disappointing that has to be for the Democrat Party? You understand that? Do you know how disappointing it has to be that you have illegals that are not paying drug cartels to come across terrain that might kill them, where little girls, perhaps even little boys and women for sure, are getting rape kits as they travel through the hot desert. You know how disappointing that has to be for the Democrat Party? On every single issue, the Trump administration is exposing the left. Every single issue. And they want to run against them. And guys, I hate to tell you this. It’s going to get even nastier. The name calling is going to get worse. It’s going to get nastier. Everything’s going to get nastier. But the bottom line is the Republican Party will have a record to run on. And they’ll be exposing the left at every single corner. And I just absolutely love it. I absolutely love it. So that’s good news. That is really good news. I mean, I could go on and on. There’s some more numbers here. But for the most part, I think you get it. I think you get the drift. All right. Actually, let me read this. As of January 20th, the immigration courts had 4,173,595 cases. The number dropped to 3,782,563 as the end of July. Guys… Trump is on pace to clear up the backlog, 800,000 illegals per year. That’s 3.2 million during his presidency. I’ll take it. I’ll take it. We’ll be back.
