how you doing i missed you gosh is it good to get back i mean it was uh we had a great week we had a fantastic time and hundreds of happy campers on that ship but you know it’s fun to go away but it’s even better to get back because there’s so much happening and i i missed the heck out of you i was trying to to keep you posted. Of course, there’s a big time zone difference. Alaska’s four hours ahead of us, so it’s even worse than the West Coast. You’re asking me to do all kinds of messages in the middle of the night.
SPEAKER 03 :
In the middle of the night? Do it at 5 o’clock? Listen, for those unfamiliar, as Mike got ready to board the ship, I think you actually said something like, or I said, hey, call us from the ship for the 7.35 segment, forgetting that it would be the 4.35 a.m. segment. And then you distanced from that, which I, of course, comically grieved you about, but then allowed you to do. But then you left me some recorded ones previous evening, and those went over so great, and we appreciated those. And we did indeed hear the ship kind of just…
SPEAKER 02 :
That first night, it was rocking and rolling that first night, which is more than usual. I don’t know what happened. But other than that, that first night was a little bumpy. But then it was smooth sailing. The rest of the time we saw eagles and whales. Oh, yeah. All kinds of fun stuff. So it was a great time. But my gosh, all that’s going on back here, and I couldn’t wait to get back in front of a microphone. You know, it is kind of weird to get out of the day-to-day routine of doing a talk show, and you sort of clear your mind, even though I was completely plugged in, and I was working, and I was doing stuff on the ship. So I was still paying attention to everything that was happening. It really is astounding to recognize that Democrats are literally – literally pushing back against making cities safer i know there hasn’t been one murder in dc since trump sent in the troops not one i love what megan kelly wrote about it she posted i mean first of all here was the statistic no crime incidents found for homicides with any or no weapon for the entire time that trump has sent in the troops and then so megan reposts it and says the This is what Trump’s racist fascism gets you. Fewer dead D.C. residents. Is there any limit to his cruelty? That’s tremendous. But Mark, they’re opposing this. Yes. They are actually opposing our strategy.
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s an occupation. It’s a fascist occupation.
SPEAKER 02 :
There was a woman in Chicago. She posted something before she finally had to delete her own account. Jill Simonillo, she wrote, Dear Real Donald Trump, I’ve been carjacked in Chicago with my arm broken. I still don’t want you or your troops here. By the way, there are no red hats here. And she poses for a picture with her bruised body. She’s bragging about having been injured while being carjacked. And by the way, we still don’t want you or your troops here, Donald Trump.
SPEAKER 03 :
She’d rather be violently attacked than have Trump make a move. That have Trump make the city better.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yes. Yes. And then Gavin Newsom, who’s running for president, clearly his social media folks keep posting all of these cities that supposedly have a higher murder rate than Los Angeles. All the cities they’re listing are run by Democrats. Yeah. Tampa, I live here. He was very proud over the weekend. Tampa’s murder rate is 20% higher than Los Angeles. You want to know who the mayor of Tampa is? Jane Castor. She’s a Democrat. I mean, it’s crazy. They’re gaslighting us, Mark. This is the wildest. I’m returning to mass hysteria. Who doesn’t want a safer city? Who doesn’t want less homicides? And guess what? That means a lot less. less dead black people, Hispanic people, white people. Who cares? Let’s save lives.
SPEAKER 03 :
But they’re against it. Crime getting better, people of color disproportionately affected. Yes, they are. Yes, they are. 70, 80 percent black like D.C. You talk about black lives mattering. He’s saving black lives with safer streets in Washington. And, of course, people of every color. And it’s just word about Newsom. Do you. So it was it sort of took this past week of paying attention to some of his clumsy, oafish trolling. But I’m starting to feel like. The whole Gavin Newsom sizzle and steak ratio is changing. Sure, he’s still a pretty man, and he’s still well-spoken for three minutes in front of a TV camera. But starting two years ago when Ron DeSantis dismantled him in that debate, red state, blue state debate that Hannity did a couple years ago on Fox. I don’t think he’s the golden boy. I don’t think he is the magic combination of campaign skills that everybody thinks he is. I think he’s wildly overblown.
SPEAKER 02 :
You’re in total denial because they are loving what he’s doing. He has cemented his place as the Democrat nominee in 2028 because they see in him somebody who can out-Trump Trump. Now, you and I both know that’s not. Well, they’re wrong, but it isn’t about you and me.
SPEAKER 03 :
Jasmine Crockett is a rock star. She’s absolutely brain damaged. So I totally get it that you’ll get big applause in Democrat circles. But I think that part of his appeal was that he could have a broad general election appeal. And I don’t believe that as much anymore.
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, but again, you’re the wrong person. It doesn’t matter what you and I think. It doesn’t matter. What matters is what independents and Democrats are saying. And independents and Democrats are loving what Gavin Newsom is doing.
SPEAKER 03 :
Democrats are. I think independents are going to love him less as time plays out. I’m just saying that I think his general election mojo may be on the wane.
SPEAKER 02 :
Perhaps. It might be wishful thinking. You might be correct. I think they think they found a guy where they think Trump has met his match. And all he’s doing is duplicating. All he’s doing is replicating what Trump does. It’s ridiculous, and it’s stupid, and he’s awful. But like you said, so is Jasmine Crockett, and they like her. Look, let’s face it. The Democrats, they’ve lost their minds. Even CNN had a report over the weekend. Democrats have lost 2.1 million registered…

SPEAKER 02 :
voters across the country, while Republicans have gained 2.4 million. As CNN said, that’s a deficit of 4.5 million voters. CNN’s admitting that, because they’ve lost their marbles. All they had to do was be normal. This is what I love about their mistake. And it brings me to Cracker Barrel. Let’s talk about Cracker Barrel for a moment. All they had to do was leave this crap alone, and now they want to go, of all places to go woke, Cracker Barrel? Yep. You want to make Cracker Barrel woke? And here’s what’s great. Who would have seen that coming, the pushback? Everybody. If you’ve got a pulse, if you’ve got a breath in your body, how could you not see it coming?
SPEAKER 03 :
Some folks have been a little slow. I don’t mean slow, slow. But I have wondered, all they’re doing is it’s just a plain logo now. How is that woke? It’s because the traditional values, the barrel… The cracker, as some are saying. The older, obviously white guy, probably living in a red state, probably a Trump voter. He’s got to go. The barrel, just old-timey American values, those have got to go. It’s the purge of that kind of imagery that is the wokeism on display.
SPEAKER 02 :
It’s not just the logo, though, Mark. They’re whitewashing the whole establishment. They’re making it look like a Sears or something. I mean, they’re taking out all the warmth and the charm of it. The stuff on the walls, the old-timey stuff. It was like going to grandma’s. It was the greatest thing in the world. And now they’re paying the price. Have you seen the stock value has plummeted? All kinds of terrible things are going on there. And they’re now going to learn the hard way. They’re going to futz around and they found out because here we go again. But why do smart people act this way? What in the heck goes through their minds? And they’re finding out that the people on the board of Cracker Barrel are all woke diversity hires. They’re all DEI proponents. This is not a good time to advance that agenda. In case you haven’t looked at it, this is not a good time to decide we’re going to go all in on woke. No, it is not.
SPEAKER 03 :
You’ve identified it. These are 30-ish, 40-ish, maybe sometimes 50-ish folks who have been brought up in sort of the marketing schools. It’s kind of like having a degree in education or a degree in social work. Having a degree in advertising and marketing has been very much an indoctrination, especially in our big lib universities. And so when these people get actual jobs running the PR for companies, this is what they are hardwired to do. And boy, are there some hard lessons ahead for them out in the real world.
SPEAKER 02 :
You’ve seen the pictures of the CEO of Cracker Barrel, right? It’s white liberal women. There’s a category. It’s the craziest thing. But white liberal women are becoming the scourge of our society. They need to go to Alligator Alcatraz. Let’s find a place for white liberal women in their 40s, in their 50s. I mean, it is a very niche-y category, and it’s the Karen syndrome, right? All the Karens in America are making these decisions and running companies into the ground. They’re all whining and complaining about whatever they can. It’s the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Speaking of alligator Alcatraz, so this morning, Kilmar, you know, because we’re all Kilmar now.
SPEAKER 03 :
You heard what’s going on with him? He showed up somewhere, I guess, to turn himself in and had a phalanx of supporters with him.
SPEAKER 02 :
Oh, yeah. Of course, they all love him because the left loves him. Maryland man. Yeah, Maryland man. The gang member, the trafficker. So this morning, moments ago, he’s appearing at an ICE office. And here’s the choice they gave him. I think this is so good. They’re saying, look, you’ve got a choice. You can plead guilty to trafficking, and we’ll send you with your family to Costa Rica and go live your life in Godspeed and live in peace. Or you want to push back? We’re shipping your butt to Uganda. Now, that’s the option. That’s the option he’s got.
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m not kidding you. Nothing against Uganda as a vacation destination, but wow.
SPEAKER 02 :
There’s a musical on Broadway called Book of Mormon. Yeah, of course. Right? And there’s the innocent members of the Book of Mormon, the young men with the white shirts and the black ties that are sent somewhere. The lead wants to go to Orlando. That’s all he dreams of. He wants to be assigned to Orlando. They send him to Uganda. Uganda. And it’s the funniest thing because it’s where all the warlords are. And now you’ve got these lily-white Book of Mormon guys with their little shirts and Bibles and ties.
SPEAKER 03 :
And I was Idi Amin.
SPEAKER 02 :
Oh, with Idi Amin, who wants to eat them. I mean, it’s the funniest. It’s very sacrilegious, but it’s the same thing. So all I can think of is them going off to Uganda. Well, that’s where Kilmar is going to go if he doesn’t play nice. and we’ll see what happens. What a time to be alive.
SPEAKER 03 :
What a time, and to be doing this for a living. We always miss you when you’re away, but it was great having you recorded good wishes there from the ship. Glad it all went so well. I know people were absolutely thrilled. Last thing.
SPEAKER 02 :
By the way, hang on. Hold that thought. I want to tell you how many people on the cruise ship talked about how much they love the M&M experience. And these are not only people in the Metroplex. I met a lot of people in the Dallas-Fort Worth. There was a good contingent. from uh from your audience but also from around the country there are people who tune in every day look we stream this every day on x every single day a lot of times i’ll replay it back on my show but this has as you know over the years it’s just come into something that it’s turned into something that we really really love and to hear that kind of love and so many people incidentally mark on the ship expressing their love and appreciation for you a number of people wanted me to tell you how much they love you and treasure you kind And I’m just not blowing smoke in your ear. That’s the absolute truth. So I wanted to be sure to dutifully share that with you because you got a whole lot of love all throughout the country, my friend.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, love right back at everybody who watches, who listens, and we appreciate it. Great to have you back. And I can’t wait once again to say that Mike will be on the air at 10 as soon as we’re done. Carry on, sir. We’ll be listening. Godspeed. Happy Monday. See you soon.
SPEAKER 01 :
Love you. That’s Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 03 :
It is a happy Monday, isn’t it? Mike is back, and he’ll be with all of us at 10 as soon as we’re done on 660 AM The Answer.
