SPEAKER 07 :
Okay, Jimmy Kimmel, go. 800-655-MIKE. Wow, things are happening left and right. Freedom is breaking out all over. Google just announced they’re going to bring back the banned YouTube channels. You know Seb Gorka was banned for life? That’s right. My friend and colleague, former colleague, now in the Trump administration, who’s fighting the good fight against worldwide terrorism, he had his YouTube channel banned for life. Google just announced moments ago that all the banned YouTube channels due to political comments are being reinstated. My gosh. The tide is turning. People have had it. Companies are coming to their senses. And we’re not there yet, but we’re in a pretty good place. Revel in that moment. Appreciate it. I don’t care a lot about Jimmy Kimmel, I have to admit. I’ve never seen his show. I’m not trying to sound like one of those people. But I haven’t. I wouldn’t know that Jimmy… I’ve seen clips that the team has given me. And certainly there are obnoxious… anti-conservative things the guy has said. I’ve read the articles about how he never has conservatives on the show. The only conservative he’s ever had on, apparently, is Mike Lindell from MyPillow, and he made it a bit. And actually, he was a pretty good sport about it, and Mike shared with me that Jimmy Kimmel is a pretty nice guy. I’d like to find out what Mike feels about everything that’s going on in the world right now. Mike Lindell has been saying to me for years that And he said to you for years, we need a spiritual revival in America. Well, that’s happening. Look around. It’s happening. Look at the memorial service for Charlie Kirk Sunday at State Farm Stadium. That was a revival. Good things are happening. So Jimmy Kimmel served the shortest indefinite suspension in the history of television. He was indefinitely suspended. What was he suspended for? Lying. He lied about the shooter. He lied about Charlie’s assassin. Charlie’s assassin was not MAGA. That’s irrefutable. Okay. Let me be gracious. Let me be generous. Let me extend some grace. Maybe he didn’t know. Maybe he was watching Rachel Maddow on a loop, and he thought somehow the hard left guy who killed Charlie Kirk was MAGA. All right, well, he got it wrong. So now he has to apologize. Now, if you believe the reporting, he won’t. Well, that’s a problem. That’s a big problem. Why is it hard for people to apologize? All right, you hated Charlie Kirk, Jimmy Kimmel. Knock yourself out. You’re not alone. That’s a big club, evidently, as we’re finding out. I feel sorry for you. I pity you. You’re not able to acknowledge a lion of free speech, a lion of debate, a champion of dissent. You didn’t have to agree with Charlie Kirk, but you didn’t have to kill him. Because you didn’t like his views. And that’s what one troubled young man apparently did. So back to Jimmy Kimmel for just a moment. If the guy stands up tonight and says, look, I don’t like what Charlie Kirk represented. I don’t like MAGA. I don’t like Trump. I don’t blah, blah, blah. Trump’s all that. But I had it wrong. Clearly, this… person isn’t MAGA. He certainly is far left. I had it wrong, and I’m sorry. Now, you could say you don’t believe it. You don’t believe it. You could say it’s not heartfelt. I don’t care. I don’t care what’s in Jimmy Kimmel’s heart. I mean, to be really blunt, I don’t care about Jimmy Kimmel. I’m not trying to sound like a jerk. I think the guy is pretty reprehensible. He’s got a lifetime of work that includes him being in blackface and mocking women and objectifying, all that crap. I mean, the man show. I don’t care about him. Take your show and do you. You do you. Whatever you think you’ve got to do on your nightly show, who cares? It doesn’t impact me in any way, shape, or form. It probably doesn’t impact you either. But what I do care about is the principle of smearing more than half the country and suggesting that our movement, and yes, this is a movement, suggesting that our movement produced a killer of Charlie Kirk. Maybe it’s a little personal for me because I knew Charlie and worked with him. Maybe it’s personal for me because I wept with everybody else at the memorial. I rejoiced for his eternal salvation and happiness. I was grateful that so many millions of people undoubtedly all over the world are turning to God and Christ as a result of that service Sunday, which they’re reporting drew over 100 million eyeballs, pairs of eyeballs. People all over the world were watching. There’s important things at stake right now. And for Jimmy Kimmel to incorrectly, falsely smear a movement because he doesn’t like us, that’s not acceptable. All he has to do is apologize. Let’s see if he does. And let’s get your take on it all. 800-655-MIKE. 13 past the hour. It’s Tuesday, September 23rd. We’re in the Relief Factor studios. Back home again after a few days. A lot of emotion. A lot of, just a lot of, look, Phoenix was a lot. Let’s just put it that way. It was a lot. It was so sad to see Erica Kirk up there. But it was also pretty astounding. to be witness to a massive spiritual, religious celebration of his life, of his young life. Like I said, the assassin thought there’d be a funeral. That’s what he wanted. He got a huge spiritual revival worldwide. Thanks to the presence of Charlie Kirk’s young life. Young, brief life. PhD weight loss has changed my life. And I’ve got a little secret for you. You know Big Pharma and semaglutide and the shots in the belly. SPEAKER 07 :
I just finished reading a column over at Hot Air by Dwayne Patterson, who is Hugh Hewitt’s longtime producer, who wrote a column called The Three Most Powerful Words Uttered in Centuries, I Forgive Him. A remarkable column. active grace from the widow of Charlie Kirk. And now, a lot of fallout happening this week. In fact, I ran into somebody at the airport yesterday, a friend of mine, good guy. I didn’t really like that service. It was more about Trump than God. Have you ever seen a rally in your life that was so faith-filled? How many people do you think were brought to the Lord as a result of Sunday’s memorial service, the celebration of young Charlie Kirk’s life? In fact, my buddy Mark Davis got a little annoyed at my friend’s reaction, saying any Christian who didn’t recognize how much good was done Sunday on behalf of the Christian message needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror. And I kind of agree with that. Look, you could find fault with any aspect of Sunday’s service. Maybe President Trump should have allowed Erica to go last. Who knows? I don’t even know how that came about. Maybe people didn’t like the sparkly fireworks. Incidentally, the Kirk family loved it. Turning Point USA has those little sparkly little fireworks everywhere. as a staple of their events, that was Charlie. Charlie loved that effect. And this was indeed a celebration of life. But it’s like the left doesn’t know how to process all of this. Former ESPN and MSNBC host Keith Olbermann wrote to Scott Jennings, our Salem Radio Network colleague, You’re next, M-effer. But keep mugging to the camera. You’re next. Like an actual threat from Keith Olbermann. Scott apparently forwarded the post to the FBI director, Kash Patel. How about Governor Gavin Newsom? He posted the other day, days after Charlie’s assassination, Kristi Noem is going to have a bad day today. You’re welcome, America. They can’t help themselves. And they can’t even present a modicum of decency. Here’s Kamala Harris. I know I really debated playing these clips from last night’s Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC. Kamala’s hawking a book. She just wants to make a lot of money on her book about the election, which she falsely claimed last night was like the closest election in the history of America. No, it wasn’t. What are you talking about? It wasn’t close. Wasn’t even, wasn’t even, can you, hey Kamala, did you get one swing state? Just one. How’d you do with the popular vote? But here’s what fascinates me. It is widely understood now that the killer in Utah had a motivation. He hated Charlie’s message, and he even wrote, on one of the bullet casings, one of the shell casings, something about, hey, fascist, catch. Catch a bullet, you fascist. So this poisoned mind, this cowardly, angry, broken 22-year-old who now threw his whole life away, was committed to stopping the tyrannical fascist. Charlie Kirk. I got to believe Kamala Harris knows that by now. We all know it. We all know the motivation. But that didn’t stop her. No, no, no, no, no. That didn’t stop the former vice president. Not when there’s books to be sold.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right now we are dealing with, as I called him at my speech on the Ellipse, a tyrant. We used to compare the strength of our democracy to communist dictators. That’s what we’re dealing with right now in Donald Trump. And these titans of industry are not speaking up. And perhaps it is because his threats and the way he has used the weight of the federal government to take out vengeance on his critics is something that they fear. And I get that. I understand why they do. We’ve seen the demonstration of it.
SPEAKER 07 :
Now, one would think she’d have a little bit of decency. Because if you call somebody a tyrant over and over and over again… What do you think is going to happen? Honestly, if you call a man that is loved and supported by more than half of America a dictator, the supreme leader, Kim Jong-un, a tyrant, you’re going to see political violence result. Got to give credit to Stephen A. Smith, the sportscaster and sometime political pundit who had a take on Kamala’s book.
SPEAKER 01 :
Who cares what she has to say at this particular moment in time? I hope the book is successful. When you had an opportunity as the Democratic nominee for the presidency of the United States of America to address so many different issues, and instead what you did was go into protective mode. You wanted to show your loyalty or what have you, and then you lose the election. And what you want to do is point out All the reasons that you didn’t win and point the finger of blame, it seems, in everybody else’s direction instead of yourself. I don’t think that she’s going to have any support from the Democratic Party. I can tell you that much. And then you have to take into consideration the level of support that she had coming in. This is an individual that was, you know, that was used to bypass what some would say the Democratic process is. There was no primary. Yes, Joe Biden was awful during that debate that June 27th. Yes, he ultimately stepped away in July. But if you talk to many people within the Democratic Party, they were talking about how this was all part of the plan because had he departed. significantly earlier when we all saw slippage in him. As far as I was on a record a year earlier, seeing the slippage had he departed, there would have been a Democratic primary. She would have had to compete to be the Democratic nominee. And there were people who did not want her to do that because clearly they didn’t believe, you know, whether it was Gavin Newsom, whether it was Barack Obama or somebody else. And it seems like she knew it. And that was the kind of feedback she received. And to talk about all of that now. Post-election loss, nobody wants to hear that.
SPEAKER 07 :
Pretty smart analysis from Stephen Smith. Now, I’ve got a question for you as we kick off this hour. Is it too much to ask for Democrats to back off the rhetoric in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination? Do you think that’s a bridge too far? Am I asking too much? What do you think they’d be saying? What do you think they’d be doing if one of the lions of their movement was gunned down? Well, we saw what they did when George Floyd died. We saw exactly how they behaved. We witnessed the violence in the aftermath of George Floyd. To anybody who would say that political violence is on both sides, how can you explain the aftermath of to the death of George Floyd compared to the aftermath to the murder of Charlie Kirk? Honestly, I’m not trying to be provocative here. It’s a good faith question. Isn’t it fair to say, hey Democrats, can you pump the brakes a little bit on the over-the-top, unhinged rhetoric that Republicans like Donald Trump And Charlie Kirk are fascists? I don’t know that they have it in them. I don’t know that they’re capable of backing off. But ultimately, they should. Tonight, Jimmy Kimmel is returning to ABC. He should apologize for the factual mistake that he engaged in. He was wrong that Charlie’s killer was MAGA. He knows it. ABC knows it. Goodness knows the Sinclair TV stations and the Nexstar TV stations know it. Will he do the decent thing and apologize? I know many people will say even if he does, you won’t believe him. But that’s okay. Let him apologize. And let’s turn the page. Do whatever you want to do on the Jimmy Kimmel show. Who cares? In case you haven’t heard the news, ABC just demonstrated the shortest indefinite suspension in television history. Already Jimmy Kimmel’s back. Tonight. And all eyes will be on what he has to say. All ears will be listening for whether or not he’ll be decent or he’ll be cruel. Kamala Harris is cruel to continue that vicious rhetoric days after tonight. One of the greatest conservative influencers in the country was gunned down on a college campus trying to engage in debate. Incidentally, what did Kamala Harris say about Charlie Kirk’s assassination? Anybody know? Can you look it up, Tracy, and find out? Because she has plenty to say about what a tyrant Donald Trump is in order to hawk her stupid book. 800-655-MIKE. 17 past the hour. Welcome in. It’s Tuesday. We’re in the Relief Factor studios, and I hope you join us. 800-655-6453. Call or text. I want to see if you think I’m being naive. Am I being silly? Am I being ridiculous in hoping for a little bit of a little slowing down Of the over-the-top, crazy rhetoric from the left. Because it’s going to get more people killed. The irony is, somebody just pointed out from Atlanta, fascists are the ones who kill people who don’t agree with them. Who’s the real fascist? Every single day, it’s a joy to remind you that portions of our show are sponsored by MyPillow. As you know, our friend Mike Lindell, big legal victory last week. He’s been in a ton of hot water, as you know, because he believes in election integrity. Of course, due to his friendship with President Trump. You are jealousy. You are envy. You are hatred. You are nothing. You can build nothing. You can produce nothing. You can create nothing.
SPEAKER 02 :
In the Relief Factor studios on Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 07 :
Stephen Miller’s speech was, I think, part of the reason my friend didn’t really like He thought the service for Charlie was a little weird, as he put it. A very spiritual man, incidentally, he’s a friend of mine. I bumped into him at the airport. He said, what did you think? I said, well, it was one of the most profound events I’ve ever attended. And he said, I thought it was weird. I thought it was a little weird. I said, what do you mean it was weird? What about all the people who opened their hearts to Jesus? Yeah, there was too much Trump, and Trump shouldn’t have spoken last, and there shouldn’t have been the fireworks. I’m thinking, gosh, there is a spiritual revival happening. And to me, the Charlie Kirk Memorial was the tip of that spear. It’s just the tip of the iceberg. I want to talk to Jessica here in just a moment. By the way, I don’t know what’s going on. Tucker spoke. I didn’t catch it. He made a reference to the Jewish leaders. wanting Jesus dead, and that’s supposed to be a blood libel, and people are all fired up, he’s being an anti-Semite. You know, as I understand it, the Romans technically, look, I’m no biblical scholar here. Believe you me, I’m the wrong guy to give you scriptural wisdom. But as I learned in Sunday school, as I learned from the pastor at the pulpit, It was the Romans, the Roman authority in Judea that crucified Jesus. Even crucifixion was a Roman punishment. Pontius Pilate was the Roman governor. But I thought that the Gospels depicted how Jewish religious leaders pushed for Jesus’ death too. They thought that his message was… That’s what Tucker was saying. And I don’t even know why I’m mentioning this. I’ll just get in nothing but trouble. People are so fired up about Tucker Carlson. They’re mad that he laughed at the podium. Well, I can tell you there was lots of laughter in that arena that day. There was lots of winsome, melancholy joy at the worship service that Sunday was all about. I mean, I get it. Blaming the Jews the way people, anti-Semites, blame the Jews for everything doesn’t cut it. I mean, but it is specific to say that there were Jewish leaders alongside Roman authorities who crucified Jesus Christ. I think the people who react… just epically to something like what Tucker said, are just tired of hearing Jews be blamed for everything under the sun. Look, anti-Semitism is real. It is alive and well in this country and around the world. And it’s only gotten worse. It’s only gotten worse. And it’s horrific. And we’ve got to confront it. We’ve got to deal with it. We have to face it. That’s why our show partners with organizations like the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. I want to get Yael Eckstein on to talk about this beautiful Israeli flags project that the IFCJ is embarking on. I appreciate them so very much. In fact, I think it’s time to dive in and do a partnership with them. I’ve been to Israel before as their guest, and I want to go back. I am just so yearning to return to Israel. I’m blessed to get to travel a lot. I’m at a stage in my life where I want my travel to be meaningful, and there is nothing more meaningful than visiting the Holy Land. So be listening here. I think we’re going to step up and do something with the IFCJ in just a moment. But look, I don’t want to discourage you from calling. If you want to dive into this, feel free to do so. With Tucker and the Jews and eating hummus, and they tried to silence Jesus. I mean, I think Tucker’s point was they were trying to silence Jesus, and his message abounded after he was crucified. And he saw the same thing, not to call Charlie Kirk Jesus, but his point is they tried to silence Charlie’s message, and it will abound. I mean, it’s very real. And to be in that arena, maybe my friend just didn’t have that. He was watching it on TV. Maybe you couldn’t feel that energy, that emotion, that spiritual beauty of Sunday’s service. And maybe nobody knows that better than Jennifer in Pennsylvania because, Jennifer, as I understand it, you had somebody who had quite a conversion, quite an experience while watching the Charlie Kirk Memorial. Is that correct?
SPEAKER 05 :
That’s correct.
SPEAKER 07 :
Tell me all about it.
SPEAKER 05 :
A little bit of background. My girlfriend lives two hours away. Her husband has a type of dementia that caused him to go blind, and now he has Lewy body dementia, and he needs assistance walking. She needed to get away, so I thought, well, I wanted to watch Charlie Kirk’s memorial anyway, so I would watch it with her husband, Doug, who has for years rejected Jesus as his Savior. and always makes a joke about it when we try to talk to him. So he’s losing his memory. He still has his long-term, but he’s losing so much so fast. And I prayed on my way down to her house, Lord Jesus, today may be his last opportunity to get this. So my girlfriend left, and he was more receptive with me being there. And he was so touched by the speakers and by what happened. I’ve never seen him so touched. When the pastor, and I can’t remember which pastor, said, if you are a believer, if you’ve received Christ as your Savior, you stay seated.
SPEAKER 07 :
Right, Rob McCoy. Yep. Okay. Charlie’s pastor, by the way, Jennifer.
SPEAKER 05 :
Okay. I kind of thought that might be the one. So then he said, if you want to receive Christ as your Savior, and he had explained before this what it means to receive Christ as your Savior. He said, I want you to stand. Doug, my friend who’s blind, popped off of the couch like he was shot out of a cannon and let out a groan and stood there, unable to see, but staring at the television. And then the pastor said, I want a believer now to go over and pray with somebody who’s standing. So I went over to my friend, I put my arm around him, and I said, Doug, do you want to receive Jesus as your Savior? And he said yes. He was lucid in that moment. I prayed with him, and then I asked him, did you receive Christ as your Savior? And he said yes. His life is beautiful. bouncing off the walls because we were we knew time was running out and god was just so gracious to give this man one last opportunity and that service was so moving and i’m sure there are many other stories like mine that’s what made sunday so special jennifer you’ve touched my heart with sharing that with us thank you and i know our audience appreciates you sharing that story i i
SPEAKER 07 :
I know there are many Dugs in the country, maybe around the world, who are going to be headed to eternity with our Lord and Savior because of what happened. And that’s the beauty of Sunday’s moment. That’s the beginning of a revival that this country desperately needs. You know, people talk a good game. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, we need a revival, we need a revival. But that spiritual revival is happening. It’s happening right under our noses. And what Pastor McCoy did in that arena, in that stadium, was an old-fashioned altar call. Kind of like what they did with Billy Graham. Remember when Billy Graham, the Billy Graham Crusades, would fill up Shea Stadium? That’s what Sunday felt like. And Pastor McCoy did the altar call where he said, if you’re a believer, stay seated. If you’re willing and ready today to accept Jesus as your Savior, stand up. People stood up all throughout that stadium. There were thousands of people who stood. It took my breath away. And Charlie’s assassination led to that. That would have never happened. In death, Charlie saved a whole lot of people from damnation. And that’s why I was stunned. I told my pal Mark Davis this morning about this mutual friend of ours who said, oh, I thought it was a little weird. I didn’t like the sparkly fireworks. And I didn’t like that it was too much about Trump and too much about… First of all, Trump is Trump. If you don’t know him by now, I got no hope for you. Yes, Trump is large and in charge. The president… But let me tell you the behind-the-scenes story of why that memorial took place in that stadium. Let’s talk a little bit about the behind-the-scenes story that was revealed to me. Turning Point USA was going to have the Memorial Sunday at Charlie’s Church. And President Trump was invited to attend, and President Trump said, that’s not big enough. We’ve got to give our friend Charlie a proper send-off. We want to celebrate his life in a stadium. So President Trump picked up the phone and called the owner of the Arizona Cardinals. And that’s how it came to be that that memorial service took place at State Farm Stadium. If you don’t appreciate Donald Trump for that, I got no hope for you. If you can’t appreciate that gesture, well, I don’t know what else to say. I’m eternally grateful that President Trump is in the White House. I’m eternally grateful that I got to attend the service on Sunday. And yes, I think Sunday was one of the most magnificent displays for Christianity that I’ve ever seen. Now, my buddy Mark Davis said, if you thought that was strange or weird or you didn’t like, look, you can nitpick anything you want. They put that whole thing together in seven days. That’s an event that takes six months or more to plan. You know what that was? It was a miracle. And look, you have a right to your opinion. Oh, you didn’t like the order of things or maybe the, hey, fine, fine. Sometimes it’s better just to think those kind of thoughts rather than rain all over a beautiful, beautiful celebration of our faith. That’s what Sunday was. And Mark’s reaction was, to my friend who thought it was a little weird, if as a Christian you didn’t see Sunday, The enormity of that ceremony, of that service, of that celebration of life, if as a Christian you didn’t appreciate how many people were brought to God and to Christ through that service, you ought to take a long, hard look in the mirror. Now again, to be clear, the friend of mine who has this opinion, where it really wasn’t his cup of tea, he’s a good man. He’s a good person. He’s a spiritual guy. Very spiritual. Very spiritual. Very religious. And he felt that it just wasn’t enough of a focus on Christ. It was too much on Trump. I have to respectfully agree to disagree.
SPEAKER 02 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 07 :
Remember the movie Love Story and the motto to the Ali McGraw movie was love means never having to say you’re sorry? I remember thinking, I don’t think that’s right. Look, I was married and I think love means saying you’re sorry all the time. All Jimmy Kimmel has to do is say, I’m sorry. I described Charlie Kirk’s assassin as a MAGA, and I was wrong. Sorry. And Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t have to suddenly come around and become a registered Republican. Nobody expects that. And I’ve been thinking a lot about one man the last week or two. I’ve been thinking about the spiritual revival we seem to be experiencing in America. We took a call today from somebody. I want to play that call again. Jennifer shared how a friend of hers, a nonbeliever, a man named Doug, who has been fighting health challenges, always joked about accepting Jesus as his Savior, just didn’t do it. His wife wanted him to. Jennifer wanted him to. During the Charlie Kirk Memorial, when the pastor said, if you accept Jesus as your Savior today, stand up, and that man stood up from the couch and said, I want to bring Jesus into my life, and I want to accept the Lord. That’s the beauty of what happened in Phoenix on Sunday. We’re all still mourning young 31-year-old Charlie Kirk’s murder, his assassination, But something big is happening. And so there’s two big topics to cover today. The Jimmy Kimmel return tonight and the spiritual revival and the guy who’s best equipped to talk about both of it. is our friend and our partner, the one and only Mike Lindell, the MyPillow genius, a guy who knows a thing or two about being canceled, and a guy who knows a thing or two about redemption. Mike, it’s been too long. It’s great to see you again. Welcome back to the show. How are you, my friend?
SPEAKER 08 :
I’m doing great, and thanks for having me on again, Mike. What a couple weeks it’s been.
SPEAKER 07 :
It’s been awful in many ways, and yet Charlie’s death has led to revival. I want to talk to you about that, because you’ve been telling me about this, and every time you come on the show, you’ve said, America needs a revival. And when I got that call from Jennifer, who said her friend accepted Christ, I got chills, and I keep thinking of you because you’ve been praying for this moment, and maybe it took the brutal assassination of our beloved Charlie that is going to lead to that. But before we do that, let’s get Jimmy Kimmel out of the way. The New York Post had a headline, Jimmy Kimmel hosted just one right-leaning guest in the past three years. That, of course, was you. And it was a funny moment. You were in the, what do you call it, you were in the box.
SPEAKER 08 :
The claw machine, yeah.
SPEAKER 07 :
The claw machine.
SPEAKER 08 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 07 :
And it was actually funny, and you were a good sport about it, and you told us afterwards that Jimmy Kimmel was a pretty good sport about it. They didn’t treat you badly. You have a great sense of humor. Anybody who knows you knows how much you love to laugh, and you didn’t mind. And by the way, you got a lot of great promotion for my pillow on the Jimmy Kimmel show. But give me the Mike Lindell analysis of this whole mess with ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel, since you know the guy. Thank you.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, you know, I’ll take you back first. The first time I was ever on Jimmy Kimmel was in the spring of 2021 when I was the only one getting attacked or the most visual getting attacked speaking out about our election of 2020. And Jimmy kept bad-mouthing me on TV. I was his number one target then. And I said, I did a couple, a lot of big shows back then, a lot of big revival things in churches. I said, you know what? I’m praying for Jimmy Kimmel. And he said, You think Mike’s really praying for me, he said on his show. Well, then he invited me on. Of course, right away, I accepted. Now, the first time I was on, buddy, I found out he had read my book. So I really believe he was torn at that time. And I remember going to a commercial and I said, Jimmy, we need to unite the country. I said, you know, they attacked you last summer for doing blackface. And he said to me, he goes, yeah, but Mike, here’s the difference. I did something really bad. All you’ve done is back a man you believe in. Then he’s talking about Donald Trump. And so it was, I just felt like he was kind of torn through the whole thing. the whole segment there, the appearance on his show. Now, over the next four years, he attacked me relentlessly. He had a fake mic on and everything, and we had this weird relationship, like you say, Mike, and then he invited me on his show again, but he said, you’re not vaccinated. You’re going to have to, if you come on, we’re going to put you in a carnival game, a claw machine. I said, I’ll do it. I’ll do it. Now, people ask me, now, why did you do that? Well, One of the things, even through Jimmy’s attacks, it was getting the word out, the word out that I wanted to get out. I didn’t care what it cost me. I didn’t care about being humiliated. But that actually was pretty amazing because I remember him saying, Mike, you’re the person. He said, you’re inside of a carnival machine. They’re a claw machine. We know you’re afraid of machines. What do you say? And I said, I said, Jimmy, remember when we were kids? And we told everyone that these games were rigged. And he said, yeah. And I said, but we didn’t get sued, did we? And so there was this back and forth. And it was pretty amazing. But after I got done, he invited me upstairs with his mother and father. And his mom said… You know, Mike, your people are, and he said his mom never comes. She came, she wanted to see me. And she said, his mother said, Mike, your people attack me, attack my son every day, meaning Jimmy. And I go, I don’t know what people you’re talking about. But I said, you do know your son attacks me and others every single night. And she said, oh, Mike, you’re such a card. I read your book. And from then on, and then Jimmy, we spent about 15 minutes. Jimmy, we took pictures. And he says, and he said, Mike, he asked me, really? He goes, you think we could ever get to paper balance? And he goes, I really believe you believe what you’re saying. Anyway, he showed a moment of humanity there. And it was a different side I hadn’t seen of him. I’ll tell you, Mike, where we’re at right now with him coming back, I said it last week, I didn’t cheer that he was off the air. I just said, you know what, maybe this is a time that he can reflect and say, hey, maybe these things I’ve done are the things he has crossed the line, so to speak. Maybe he can reflect, and maybe he would find Jesus. That was my prayer last week. Now, him coming on, when he comes on, we’ll have to see what he says. It’s pretty easy to humbly apologize and move on, like you say.
SPEAKER 07 :
I don’t know what it’s going to be, but that’s all he has to do. That’s all he has to do. I mean, you know, and we don’t have to agree with him politically. He doesn’t agree with us. He wants to make fun of us. But he had it wrong. He suggested that Charlie’s killer was MAGA. He was not. He needs to correct that. But according to published reports, Mike, the reports are saying that he is absolutely not going to apologize.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right, right. Yeah, and I’ve heard that, too. I’ve heard that he wouldn’t apologize. They asked him to, and he said, no, I’m not going to. Now, we’ll see how this plays out. I believe that they, at first, I think ABC and Disney using it as an excuse to fire him and not renew his contract this spring. His ratings have continued to go down as people see through this late-night garbage that is getting put out everywhere. But it would be very simple. And for him to apologize? You bet. And he crossed the line. He put out disinformation about something that was so horrific. And it’s different putting out, you know, he put out a basically a lie. Now, did he believe that lie or did he, you know, did his producers really as people really not check into what this who this assassin was and what and what he did?
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, he certainly knows now. He sure knows by now.
SPEAKER 08 :
Everybody else got it right, Mike.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yep, you bet.
SPEAKER 08 :
Everybody else got it right, or they waited. You’re right.
SPEAKER 07 :
You’re right. You mentioned your book, and I want everybody to order the book, because what are the odds from crack addict to CEO, the Mike Lindell story is something that is worthy of any major movie. You were at the bottom of the – you were rock bottom. And you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior. And you’ve been through, boy, what a journey you’ve been on. Mike Lindell joins us. And I want to, of course, I humbly ask everybody to continue to support your company because they’ve done everything they can to cancel you and your company. They’ve done everything to shut you down. And our audience just keeps saying, no, we’re going to lift Mike Lindell and my pillow up. We love the products. We love the mission. And let’s talk for just a moment about your prayer. your years-long hope and prayer that America would experience a revival. I was in that arena Sunday in Phoenix. I felt, I mean, I don’t want to proselytize here, but I will just tell you, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. I absolutely felt something that is just unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. We’ve had callers say that their loved ones have accepted Jesus. Mike, a lot of people are saying that Charlie’s assassination is leading to a spiritual revival. Number one, do you believe that too? And number two, do you see it happening as well? Do you think we’re experiencing the beginning of a nationwide revival?
SPEAKER 08 :
I think this just expanded a thousandfold. We were already in, I believe, this revival. I’ve said it for the last four years. People don’t look to God when things are going good. They usually look to God and Jesus when things are going bad. And that’s what’s happened over the last four and a half years or five years. And with Charlie’s assassination, it is beyond anything I could imagine. I mean, you watch from around the world revivals going on in all these other countries. But then to sit here and watch this event, I’m going to call it an event. It’s a revival event. I mean, that’s what they mean. Every speaker, the people that have the courage now to use Jesus Christ in there and to speak about him, people that you then think, They didn’t even know Jesus, and they were on that stage talking about him. And everybody’s not afraid to put their faith out there. Remember what Charlie said, everybody. One of the last things he said when they asked him, what would you like to be remembered if you were killed or died? And he said, die. And he said, well, if I did die, I would like to be remembered for the courage for my faith and to speak out for Jesus. And that’s what’s happened to me. This is the biggest revival, I believe, in history. just and it’s not going to stop you get you you know this is so amazing you could feel it but i just almost every speaker i’m going well i wonder if you know don jr is going to talk about this i wonder if uh you know pozo i mean all these different people that spoke and they’re all speaking about about jesus christ and and how and which charlie was You know, God uses all things for good, but this one is massive, absolutely massive, that it’s awoken everyone. Like I’ve said it before the last four years, if you’re an evangelist, if you’re a pastor, if you couldn’t get people to the Lord, you know, people are longing to have hope, and that hope is Jesus Christ. And now it just shows out there that, like, hey… You know, it just exploded. And it’s going to continue to go on and on and on. And because of people aren’t afraid to speak out and use the word Jesus Christ in there, you know, say, hey, this is how I got through. This is how I made it. This is how I got saved. And it’s just so awesome. Remember, Mike, I said it before. God’s given us grace for such a time as this. God’s given us grace. And this is the grace we’re getting that everyone can get as many people to the Lord as possible.
SPEAKER 07 :
For such a time as this. And as we conclude here, Mike, some breaking news, even as we’re visiting with one another. You know, Sinclair, a big group that owns a big group of ABC affiliates, they operate 30 ABC affiliates. They said yesterday they will preempt Jimmy’s show tonight. Well, Nextar has just announced they will follow suit. Nextar is going to preempt ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, despite Disney ending the suspension. Nextar has 32 stations, so there’s at least 62 stations that will not be carrying the Jimmy Kimmel show, which is going to really be devastating for them as far as a business model. Let me close by a business model that I love, because you’re a blessing in my life, and my pillow is a blessing to the Mike Gallagher Show audience, and I am so proud to always see how our audience steps up for your company, because they’ve looked All the big home shopping networks and the big box stores, they’ve kicked you out. And they put lotions and they put fabric softeners on. So they felt good in the store. You got home, they didn’t dry you. That’s right. Well, my towels work. They just came in, you guys.
