I heard a guest on Chris Stegall’s show this morning. I don’t know his name. Chris often has really smart guests where you kind of learn. You get kernels of knowledge. It’s one thing I love about when I listen to my colleagues and watch different shows that are on my, you know, I’m part of the team. And Chris’s guest made a very plaintive, simple point. Curtis Lewell won the primary. Cuomo didn’t. Zoran Mamdani is the primary winner. He’s the Democrat. Curtis is the Republican. What does it feel like to be a Republican and say you endorse Andrew Cuomo? One of the most scandalous governors in the history of America. The guest on Chris’s show called him the COVID killer. And as a Republican, I mean, I get if you’re a Democrat. I get if you’re independent. I get if you’re progressive, whatever you want to call yourself. But if you’re a Republican, if you’re a conservative Republican, I wonder what it feels like to say, oh, Curtis should step down and you should vote for Andrew Cuomo. A Republican endorsing Andrew Cuomo, of all people. Makes you want to take a shower. More on that in just a moment. But I’ve got to go back to the state of today’s Democrat Party. This lockdown, this shutdown, whatever you call it, the Schumer shutdown, of course, it’s the Democrats who will not vote on a continuing resolution. Even the mainstream media is acknowledging that they want to hurt Americans. And I’m not kidding. They want to hurt Americans. I want you to hear the House Minority Whip. out of Massachusetts, a woman named Catherine Clark. I missed this clip yesterday, and I want to revisit it today because this is astounding. She’s the Democrat whip, Congresswoman Catherine Clark, sitting down with Chad Pergram on Fox News. Every once in a while, people say the quiet part out loud. And we’ve all suspected that the Democrats want to hurt farmers. They want to hurt veterans. They want to hurt poor people. They want the SNAP benefits to run out. They want kids to go to bed hungry. They truly do want to hurt Americans. And I’m not saying this as just another big-mouth talk show host. They’re saying it. They’re admitting it. I picked a fight with Hugh Hewitt, my friend and colleague. And Sid Rosenberg, who’s also a friend and colleague, not for the same company. Sid, of course, works for another radio station in New York, WABC. Sid has been very high profile and is now sort of turning on his friend Curtis Lewa and endorsing Andrew Cuomo. That’s what Hugh did. Hugh and I and Joe Piscopo and Kevin McCullough, we were all on a panel a couple of weeks ago in New York City. Thousands of people participated, and Hugh came right out of the gate. You’ve got to vote Cuomo! You’ve got to vote for Cuomo! Andrew Cuomo! And I just, I can’t, look, I wavered. I get it. Politically, pragmatically, oh, okay. Numbers-wise, it’s probably… The easy way out. You say, well, maybe Cuomo has a better chance. Cuomo! Andrew Cuomo! Do you know who he is? Do you get who he is? What does it feel like to be a Republican and endorse a scoundrel like Andrew Cuomo? What does that feel like? And so I stupidly took to X… And I made a public comment. I reposted both Sid and Hugh. Here’s the Sid Rosenberg little video clip. It says, breaking news, after backing Curtis Lewa for years, Sid Rosenberg says it’s time for New York Republicans to be realistic about this mayoral race. And Sid said, Curtis isn’t going to win. I can’t lose this city to Mom Donnie. And then Hugh reposted that, and Hugh wrote, Curtis cannot win, and New York City voters have to get their arms around just how awful a Mamdani run NYC would be. This is a failure of practical imagination happening here. A Mamdani mayoralty would be an epic disaster for the city, the state, and the U.S. New York City cannot have a San Francisco spiral. Incidentally, some would argue that New York is already in that spiral. So I simply posted on X to Hugh and to Sid, it must feel awful. for my Republican friends to endorse a guy like Cuomo. Thankfully, there’s an easy solution. Don’t. That’s all I posted. I’m going to need your help. Drop whatever you’re doing and go to my X account. My handle is at Gallagher show. There’s no way Sid Rosenberg, as sharp-elbowed as he is and he’s bombastic and he’s a great guy. They’re both great guys. And normally, they’re common-sense conservative Republicans. But on this one, nah. You’ve got to look in the mirror. And you cannot possibly call yourself a Republican and say you want to endorse, you want to enthusiastically support a bum, a scoundrel, a guy like Andrew Cuomo. Maybe Hugh and Sid hope people have short memories. Maybe they forget what Cuomo was. Maybe they think people aren’t going to remember what Cuomo did. I don’t know. It’s wild. The only hope for New York is… And I heard a guest this morning on Chris DeGaulle’s show. And again, another friend and a colleague. Chris was interviewing John Hayward. He’s the National Security Deputy Editor over at Breitbart. And John made a pitch-perfect point. He said, look, if New Yorkers… are going to inflict Zoran Mamdani upon themselves, then that’s on them. It’s not up to the Republican nominee for mayor to drop out. Andrew Cuomo didn’t even win a primary. The two contenders are Curtis and Zoran. And if New Yorkers have a lick of sense, they’re not going to doom themselves to an Islamist, communist, Democrat socialist who did a terrible job last night in the final debate. I trust the dispatchers who would be receiving these calls to make the determination as to whether there was any indication of violence. The reason I believe in the efficacy of this approach is because of the fact that it has been delivered elsewhere in the country.

A dispatcher is going to answer a call for help from somebody who’s experiencing a violent criminal, the dispatcher should make a snap assessment over the phone as to whether or not it should be a police officer who responds or a social worker. You know what they often do? as a councilwoman in New York pointed out, they often have to maintain their composure on the phone because they’re terrified. They’re about to get killed. And Zoran wants Gladys, the dispatcher, to sit there and determine whether or not we’re going to send the police or a social worker. I mean, he’s dangerous. He’s just dangerous. And according to my fellow talk show hosts, Hugh Hewitt and Sid Rosenberg, the answer is to support Andrew, or as John Hayward calls him, the COVID killer, Cuomo. Wow, what a Faustian bargain, huh? Do the right thing. But I want to give you a prime example of today’s Democrat Party. You know that Nicole Wallace character over on MSNBC? She sat down with an actor named Jeff Daniels. You know him. He’s the guy from Dumb and Dumber fame. Jeff Daniels brought a musical instrument. Much to Nicole Wallace’s just ecstasy. She was delighted. He decided to sing and play a little song. And she just smiles and soaks it all in. Let me give you what passes for discourse today from the Trump-hating left universe.

It’s actually the funniest thing to listen to how they just talk about their craft. But they always, when they get interviewed, and they do all these long segments and stuff, and they do these cool talkbacks. And look, as a sort of amateur actor myself, I appreciate it. I love the theater. And they’re all talking about having to do their job within the darkness that we’re suffering through right now. In this time that we’re in. This dark time. This scary time. They’re all so miserable. I mean, they’re on Broadway. They’re making a lot of money, and they’re getting to do what they do in the best theaters in the world. Oh, it’s so dark. It’s so terrible. Look at what happened this week with the ICE raid of Chinatown, of Canal Street. Did you see who they arrested? Have you bothered to look at who they got? Now a crowd formed, which is real suspicious, and of course they were in the faces of the ICE officers and they were screaming at them, and you’re Nazis and you’re fascists, show your face. Did you see who they arrested? They arrested nine criminal illegal immigrants. Nine. Those are the people that were arrested. And not just people who were Just, you know, the hardworking, you know, immigrants yearning to be free. Let me give you an example. Mohamed Nedaye is a criminal illegal from Senegal. He’s been arrested for domestic violence, robbery, receiving stolen property, burglary, fraudulent accosting, forgery, counterfeiting, sale of a controlled substance, obstruction, and disorderly conduct. How about Idi Sar? He was arrested on Canal Street. A criminal illegal from Senegal. He was issued a final order of removal by an immigration judge in 2010. Since that time, he’s been arrested for obstruction, possession of forged instrument, counterfeiting, drug possession, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to steal the cell. How about Mamadou Ndoye? He’s a criminal illegal from Mali. He was issued a final order of removal, a final order of removal by an immigration judge in 2008. He’s been arrested for assault, counterfeiting, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal sale of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance? How about Modu Medup, another one from Senegal? I heard there’s been some drama about Tucker Carlson. He mixed it up with a college kid on one of these Turning Point tours. I saw Meghan McKay say, oh, this is just the opposite of what Charlie would do in debating people. I heard somebody else this morning, oh, casting some shade on Tucker. I suspect the person I was hearing isn’t much of a Tucker fan. And I thought Megan, look, that’s a whole world there right now with Tucker and Candace Owens and some of these folks that are very popular influencers, but they’re all sideways, it feels like, over Charlie’s assassination. And Megan had the perfect response. Apparently some kid got up and, I don’t know, accused Tucker of being worth $50 million, and Tucker said, I’m not worth $50 million, get off the Internet. Because I heard somebody else say, oh, well, why would Tucker criticize being on the Internet? The Internet made him and blah, blah, blah, blah. You know, all kinds of critical stuff said about Tucker. And Megyn Kelly had the perfect response to this condemnation of Tucker Carlson. No one is expecting any of the people subbing for Charlie Kirk, she said, to imitate Charlie. Tucker is standing in for his friend despite his own busy life and not without risk to Tucker’s own safety. I think the appropriate reaction is just, thank you, Tucker, and may God bless you and keep you safe. She’s right. That’s the right reaction. Instead of casting shade on any of the people who are doing these cross-country tours on Charlie’s behalf and they’re still going strong, carrying the torch… keeping Charlie’s image and spirit alive, how about saying thanks for, you know, again, not without any personal risks to your own life? Some of this stuff, I don’t even want to bring up Candace Owens. My goodness, I saw a clip of her today. I’m not, I’m just, don’t shoot the messenger here. I’m just telling you what she said. She thinks apparently now the Trump administration had Charlie killed. I’m not exaggerating that. I looked at the clip and I watched it three times. It’s like two minutes of Candace believing that the Trump administration didn’t have any use for Charlie anymore, had him killed. It’s why they named a holiday for him, you know, the National Day of Commemoration, and they gave him a boulevard. Candace said when they give you a holiday and they give you some street, that’s the tell that they had you killed. And the street, incidentally, that is going to be the Charlie Kirk Boulevard, I think in Florida, isn’t even in a very popular part of town. I’m not making any of this up. So some of this stuff, you can go down a rabbit hole, and sometimes I like to be blissfully naive about some of the conversations that they’re having. There’s a whole conspiracy cottage industry now about Charlie’s assassinations. Oh, look at this kid. Look at this guy who was Charlie’s chief of staff. Look at the video. He goes left instead of right. Oh, there’s a trap door. Are you kidding me? Really? Seriously? That’s what you’re spending time on? I know that we Americans are cynical by nature. I appreciate that. being doubtful of any official narrative, but you can really go overboard and you’re really playing with people’s lives. I think Erica hears about this stuff. I think Charlie’s parents hear about it. My gosh, isn’t the assassination enough? Now you want to pile on and maybe get clicks and comments and support over theorizing about the Trump administration killing Charlie or his own people turning on him and magical trap doors that somehow shot him and the body.
