In this episode, guest host Joey Hudson navigates a tumultuous week of events, from Nancy Pelosi’s much-talked about appearance at a tribute event, to intense protests in Minneapolis that have ignited fiery debates across the country. Nancy Pelosi finds herself on the receiving end of social media scrutiny after an awkward moment during a speech. Meanwhile, calls flood in discussing the persistent unrest in Minneapolis, highlighted by federally-directed ICE interventions.

Nancy Pelosi, over the weekend, you know, somebody needs to just tell Nancy, you know, she’s not running again this year, so she’s in her last year. Somebody just needs to say, Nancy, you can kind of start taking it easy. You don’t need to show up at all these events. Because she’s kind of just embarrassing herself. She delivered a speech over the weekend. This was at a… A tribute, Honor and Grateful Dead co-founder Bob Weir. And social media has not been kind to Pelosi after her appearance. In cut number nine, you hear Nancy, at one point she says, and I’m reading from the transcript, Bobby Weir was not just a magician, I’m sorry, musician. She said he’s a magician too. He was a force of nature, she said. Here’s Nancy Pelosi.
SPEAKER 10 :
Bobby Weir was not just a magician, musician, a magician too. He understood something essential about America, that our strength and our improvisation, our diversity and our willingness to learn from one another.
SPEAKER 08 :
One poster on X says, is Nancy Pelosi drunk? at the Bob Weir homecoming. Others criticized her wardrobe. And if you’re watching us on the Salem News Channel, you saw that she had sort of a magenta-colored outfit on when all the other speakers were in the sort of traditional black when you’re at an event like this, a memorial service. One user joked, Nancy Pelosi wearing a very somber magenta on stage. Other users questioned. why she was even there at all. That’s probably a good question. She’s 85 years old. She’s announced her retirement. And, you know, we just crucified Joe Biden in his final years in office every time he stumbled over a word. Nancy Pelosi, I mean, you can just see her when she talks. She’s just so unsteady when she’s walking. And it’s like she sometimes just can’t quite find the words to when she’s speaking. So I say, Ms. Pelosi, you probably should just go ahead and start practicing your retirement. Back to the phones. Dennis is in Florida as well. Welcome, Dennis. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 04 :
Hey, Joey, thank you guys for working today and filling in for Mike. I really, really enjoy when you fill in for him.
SPEAKER 08 :
Sure thing. Thank you, Dennis. Appreciate that.
SPEAKER 04 :
What’s on your mind? As for Nancy, any time you start a sentence with, was Nancy Pelosi drunk when dot, dot, dot, doesn’t matter what the rest is. The answer is probably. That’s not what I’m calling about. You talked earlier, you posed an interesting and important question. Why would the people of Minneapolis do this to their own city? Why would they tear it down after doing it already four years earlier over the George Floyd thing? And the answer is kind of simple if you think about it. They are not the people of Minneapolis. For the most part, these folks are being bused in and paid or flown in, in a lot of cases, from other cities. A lot of them are kids of rich white liberals who have nothing better to do than come and stir up people who are being paid to riot, being paid to tear down things because they don’t know how to build anything.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, true, and good point, Dennis. We are seeing that just like we did during George Floyd, and we’ve seen that all around the country. I mean, there’s question, and I don’t know if it’s been determined yet, even the lady who lost her life the other week, Renee Good, there’s question about where she actually lived.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right. Apparently she lived in Canada until two weeks ago.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, well, and she had lived in Colorado at some point as well. So, you know, I don’t think she was a resident of Minneapolis. Don’t know that for sure, but it’s questionable. But you’re right. I mean, you know, these people, they bus them in, they fly them in. But there are also people in Minneapolis who allow this to happen too, Dennis.
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, they sure do, like the mayor and the governor.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, exactly, and they encourage it. I mean, they’re encouraging these protests, which means they’re encouraging people coming to their state.
SPEAKER 05 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, yeah. Hey, Dennis, appreciate your kind words. Thanks for listening. 800-655-6453. Let’s go to Virginia. Dave is standing by. Welcome, Dave. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 03 :
Thank you, sir. In regards to all the anti-ICE protests, A wise man told me when I used to have a paper round and I was carrying papers, I was talking to him, just life situations and getting knowledge from him. He said, don’t poke the bear.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yep.
SPEAKER 03 :
All right. That does not mean do not question authority. But why should you physically be a Budinsky when someone is doing their job? It could be even like mall security. If they’re saying, go, go this way, go that way, whatever. I don’t know what they’re handling.
SPEAKER 08 :
Exactly. Well, and Dave, you know, I always say, Dave, exactly, I always say stay in your lane. If a law enforcement officer asks you to do something, you do it. You don’t question it. There’s time to question it later, but not at that time because you don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. And people… And people like the mayor, people like the governor, they’re encouraging this. I mean, they’re encouraging these people to push back. When you have a governor like Tim Walz who is saying, literally saying, you’ve got to learn how to record these ICE agents, these federal law enforcement agents, be sure and know how to record them. Well, when you’ve got people sticking their phones in the face of an ICE agent because the governor told them to, that’s a problem. And when you have a mayor, just like this past weekend, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry, he was on CNN, State of the Union, and he used some pretty strong language. to describe what is happening in his city. I mean, he’s basically describing it as an invasion. Let’s listen in. This is cut number one with Jacob Fry on CNN over the weekend.
SPEAKER 01 :
I never thought in a million years that we would be invaded by our own federal government. Of course there’s different perspectives when a different party gets sworn into the White House. Of course there are different ideologies throughout America. That’s part of what makes our country great. But you don’t get investigated for having a different opinion. You don’t have militarized troops deployed to a city for having a different perspective or because a city happened to vote for the opposite party. That may be what happens in other countries, but it doesn’t happen here. Here, this is America, and we’ve got to be standing up for these American values. Wow.
SPEAKER 08 :
He literally thinks, I guess, that the reason President Trump has sent ICE agents to Minneapolis is because Minneapolis voted blue. I guess it has nothing to do with the billions of dollars of fraud that has been uncovered with the Somalia daycare centers. I guess it has nothing to do with the thousands and thousands of illegals in the area. You know, ICE is not picking on Minneapolis. ICE is just doing their job. I got an idea for you there, Mayor. Why don’t you have your local police department and your local detention center cooperate with ICE, let ICE come pick these people up when you apprehend them, and ICE doesn’t have to go out into the neighborhoods to find them. It’s just that simple. It’s that easy. But no. The mayor and the local detention center, and I’m sure under the direction of the mayor, they won’t cooperate. So that means ICE has to put themselves and other people in danger going out into the community. You know, I stumbled over a video over the weekend that’s circulating. It was back in 2016 and it’s of a CNN reporter doing a ride-along with an ICE agent. CNN had a totally different attitude about ICE back during the Obama era. I’ll share that with you up next. So be sure and join us on the Salem News Channel so that you can watch this. Joey Hudson in for Mike.
SPEAKER 12 :
When you hear the scratch of the guitar scratching, then you know that rhythm carries all the action.

SPEAKER 08 :
Welcome in on this Monday. Glad to have you along. We’ve got a lot to cover today. Appreciate you being here. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453 is how you join the conversation. You can text me. You can call. Alex will put you in queue. We’ll talk as time permits. Email me directly, joey at joeyhudson.com. Of course, the top of the news today, once again, to start another week for Minneapolis. Things just got crazy over the weekend. As protesters, a mob of protesters took their protests into a church, uninvited. And they didn’t go there to worship. They went there to disrupt the church’s services. The story is that a group of protesters learn that, or suspected… it hasn’t been confirmed necessarily, suspected that a pastor in this particular church, it’s the city’s church, that the pastor had some type of affiliation or something with ICE. So they literally stormed the church. In one video that’s been circulated online, and there’s a lot of it out there, agitators can be heard chanting, Justice for Renee Good. Who needs justice? We need justice. As they stood inside of the church during the services, to the point that the service was just suspended. Some of the church members left in disgust because their church had literally been invaded. In cut number two, we see some of the demonstrators disrupting the service. I mean, that’s if you’re watching us on Salem News Channel, there they are, just standing in the middle of the service. You see the congregation sitting there quietly, peacefully, while these idiots disrupt their service. I shared one of the videos of the protests inside the church. It’s been circulated widely on social media. DHS said in the post, agitators aren’t just targeting our officers, now they’re targeting churches too. They’re going from hotel to hotel, church to church, hunting for federal law enforcement who are risking their lives to protect Americans. DHS also called out Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frye, saying that they’re responsible for, quote, whipping these mobs into a frenzy, then allowing them to run rampant. And that’s the truth. When Governor Tim Walz is encouraging the citizens of Minnesota to be sure they understand how to videotape an ICE agent, that’s a problem. Because you’ve got all these citizens out there, and look, there’s nothing wrong with protesting. I defend your right to protest. But when you’re getting in the face of a law enforcement agent, I don’t care if it’s ICE, FBI, your local police, the sheriff’s office, and you’re getting in their face with your phone, that’s just wrong. But yet, Governor Tim Walz, Mayor Frye, they seem to be encouraging this. The mayor over the weekend literally said, we’re being invaded. Federal forces are invading Minneapolis. Now, what does that do? It just encourages people to do things like we saw in this church. But here’s another interesting part of this church story. Guess who else was at the church? Don Lemon, or Limon, as Tucker Carlson calls him. He operates as an independent journalist since he was fired from CNN. He spoke to one of the pastors at City’s Church who said the protesters refused to have a peaceful dialogue. he said before asking Mr. Lemon to leave, the pastor said, no one’s willing to talk. I have to take care of my church and my family. Now, Lemon said he had gone to Minneapolis after these weeks of protest. He said, and this is a quote, I believe in the Constitution, I believe especially in the First Amendment, and that all journalists should be here if they have the opportunity. I think we have some video of Mr. Lemon, don’t we? Let’s roll that.
SPEAKER 13 :
What do you think of it? I mean, this is unacceptable. It’s shameful. It’s shameful to interrupt a public gathering of Christians in worship. But there were folks who will say, I have to take care of my flock. Listen, we live in a, there’s a constitution in the first amendment to freedom of speech and freedom to assemble and protest. We’re here to worship Jesus because that’s the hope of these cities. That’s the hope of the world is Jesus Christ. I want to be very respectful. Please don’t push me, though. We’re here to worship Jesus. That’s why we’re here. That’s why we’re here. That’s what we’re about. Don’t you think Jesus would be understanding and love these folks? We’re about spreading the love of Jesus. But did you try to talk to them as a Christian? No one is willing to talk. Okay. I have to take care of my church and my family, so I ask that you actually would also leave this building. Unless you’re here to worship. I’m always worshiping. I’m a Christian. Well, we’re here to worship. We’re here to worship. Okay. Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
SPEAKER 08 :
Now, again, that was Don Lemon interviewing one of the pastors who obviously was trying to keep some type of normalcy in his church. And Lemon’s lecturing him on the freedom of speech. While the disruptors, the protesters, whom Don Lemon went to the church with, Lemon’s inside of the church when he’s doing this so-called interview. Now, yes, we have freedom of speech. We have freedom to protest. We have freedom to assemble to do this. But does that freedom extend into a church service, disrupting a church service? No. Is that not sort of crossing the line, invoking our freedom of speech to disrupt a church because of a rumor that one of the pastors, and by the way, if you look at the website of this church, it’s a pretty large church. There are like eight or nine pastors listed on the website. Again, there’s been no confirmation that one of the pastors has any affiliation with ICE, but does it matter? Let’s say one of the pastors is an ICE agent, and that’s not the case, I don’t think. But let’s say that is the truth. Let’s say a pastor at this church is an ICE agent. Do these disruptors, do these protesters have the right to go into that church? Look, if you don’t like it, don’t go to the church. But if you look at the videos… It was packed. The church was full. So obviously they’re doing something right. Obviously they’re spreading the word of Christ. And there are people there to hear it. But these idiots who are protesting our immigration law, I guess they don’t believe you should be able to sit down peacefully and pray and worship. And Don Lemon’s just stoking it. He has nothing else to do because he doesn’t have a job. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Let’s talk about this. When Don Lemon is lecturing this pastor about the freedom of speech, does the freedom of speech allow you to disrupt a church service uninvited? 800-655-6453. I’m Joey Hudson, in for Mike today.
SPEAKER 02 :

SPEAKER 04 :
My baby makes me cry.
SPEAKER 08 :
Mike Gallagher. Joey Hudson in for Mike today. Attorney General Pam Bondi wrote that she had spoken with the pastor of this church that the protesters just literally closed down yesterday after they disrupted the service. You can hear them chanting Renee Good, justice for Renee, that type of thing. And none other than former CNN host, anchor, Don Lemon was there reporting. Now, I don’t know who actually watches Don Lemon. I don’t know. I guess he has a podcast or he posts his videos online or something. I’m not sure. He was there harassing people inside of the church. At one point, he actually interviewed one of the pastors, and the pastor’s just saying, hey, look, we’re here to worship God. We’re here for a church service, a Sunday church service. Don Lemon’s lecturing the guy on First Amendment rights, freedom of speech. So Attorney General Pam Bondi says, you know, we’re going to look into this. We’re going to investigate. She said if state leaders refuse to act responsibly to prevent lawlessness, this Department of Justice will remain mobilized to prosecute federal crimes and ensure that the rule of law prevails. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said the protesters will be investigated by the DOJ Civil Rights Division under the FACE Act, which criminalizes using force or threats at churches. I mean, this is taking it to an all-time low. And when Don Lemon is arguing that this is their right, does the freedom of speech give you the right to disrupt a church service? And again, it all started because supposedly one of the ministers has some affiliation with ICE. That hasn’t been confirmed. I don’t know. Does it even matter? Would it matter if one of their ministers was actually an ICE agent? You still don’t just storm a church and disrupt the service. Or do you? 800-655-6453. Let’s go to Arizona. Greg is waiting, standing by. Welcome, Greg. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 15 :
Hey, good morning. Quick question for Mr. Lemon. I guess it’s cool then for us to just go to wherever he does his podcast and start chanting, go into his house, and he’s got a microphone and free speech. We can just start chanting wherever we are. Even if he’s out on the streets and doing interviews, I’m sure he’d be totally fine with it. trying to conduct a one-on-one interview with somebody walking up and down the street doing this, and then all of a sudden 20 people just jump up and start chanting into his microphone. He’d love that, wouldn’t he?
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, yeah, supposedly freedom of speech. That would be your American right to do so.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, but I’m confused on what his definition is more so than what I would be with the pastor. I think the pastor actually handled himself pretty well.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, Greg, I think it was interesting, and if you heard that clip that I just shared with you a minute ago, Lemon immediately lets the pastor know that he’s a Christian. He says, you know, I’m a Christian. Well, if you’re a Christian, why are you there interrupting a church service? Most Christians know that you don’t do that, right?
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, I probably thought they might have gotten more traction if they would have gone there, sat down, and asked for prayers.
SPEAKER 08 :
There you go. There you go.
SPEAKER 15 :
They probably would have gotten a lot of prayers that day, regardless of what their issues were.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, good point, Greg. Hey, appreciate you listening. Have a great day. 800-655-6453, one line open for you. You know, one of the so-called interviews that Don Lemon was conducting, and you can see this, Colin Rugg, posted on X. Don Lemon loses it after a much smarter man shuts down his gaslighting attempts at the Minnesota church that was stormed by far-left agitators. Lemon was seen harassing the man and following him around as he tried to leave. They’ve emptied a house of worship. Everybody has gone home. Their point has been proven worthless. And so in the end, I think they lose the man set. And you see this. You see this guy. And there’s Don Lemon, you know, talking with him. And you see people leaving the church trying to get out, trying to get away from these idiots. Let’s share part of this interview with you. This is Don Lemon and this, I’m not sure if we know his identity or not.
SPEAKER 11 :
These people have come into our house and they’ve interrupted our worship. This is a house of peace and we try to proclaim that. And this stirs division and rancor. And in the end, it’s not helpful. Ultimately, I believe they’ve lost. They’ve emptied a house of worship. Everybody’s gone home. Their point has been proven worthless. And so in the end, I think they lose. But more importantly, if I was to break into any of their houses uninvited, cause derision and upset according to their values, I would be kicked out ultimately. It’s not a good way. I feel violated. I feel interrupted.
SPEAKER 13 :
I feel angry. Can I ask you something? When you were saying if you had showed up at their house, they’re saying that people are showing up at houses where they’re citizens without due process and breaking and entering the house. One that we saw, I’ve been watching from New York, the battering ram.
SPEAKER 08 :
I mean, there you go. Let’s jump back in here. I mean, you know, Don Lemon’s just trying to interrogate this guy. The guy obviously is much smarter than Don Lemon. Look, again, I ask you the question. Does our First Amendment rights give us the right to disrupt a church service? I’m Joey Hudson, in for Mike.
SPEAKER 14 :
Popular, happy, well-rounded kids across America are being exploited online through a sinister scheme that leaves them broken, defeated, or worse. January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month in the U.S., and to raise awareness, SalemNow.com is offering Sexploited in America, the four-part talkie series from AGA Media, at 50% off. Sexploited in America, now just $4.99 at SalemNow.com.
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m thinking about when I was a sailor.
SPEAKER 08 :
I spent my time on the open. Mike Gallagher. Joey Hudson in for Mike today, getting a lot of text messages about this federal judge. who is saying that ICE and other federal law enforcement agents have to be careful with the force they use to protect themselves. Text her a buddy of mine saying, suggesting maybe they should use water. Now, that’d be interesting, wouldn’t it? A nice dose of cold water on a cold day in Minneapolis. Text her says, what has become the tradition of the church being a sanctuary. The left is big on sanctuary cities, but apparently that doesn’t apply to churches. Good point. That is a sanctuary city. But I guess they don’t recognize it if it’s a church. Text her, good morning, Joey. For all we know, Don Lemon states all this for them to go into the church just so he would have a story. Maybe so. Because Don Lemon is wanting the attention for sure. And he’s not getting it anywhere else. 800-655-6453. Back to the phones. Let’s go to Arizona. Gary, you’re on the Mike Gallagher Show. Hey, Gary, you with us?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yes, I am.
SPEAKER 08 :
What’s on your mind today, Gary?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, bravo to you challenging that caller. We need to do more of that. That’s critical thinking. Show me, prove it, what’s your sources. I like what you did with that.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, thank you, sir.
SPEAKER 05 :
And secondly, church security. I’m a member of my church security team, and when services start, the door is locked, and nobody gets in without approval. And the way the country is right now, churches are vulnerable. I’d encourage every pastor to consider securing their facilities.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, and I agree, Gary. I mean, a church is considered a soft target. But isn’t it sad that we have to be concerned about security in churches these days?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yes, sadly so. And some pastors just don’t recognize the risk that there is to the congregations. And keeping bad people out is a good thing.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yep, absolutely, for sure. Hey, Gary, appreciate your phone call. Thanks again for your kind words. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Ron is in Arizona as well. Welcome, Ron.
SPEAKER 07 :
Good morning, Joey. I think Don Lemon organized this with these thugs, and I think they crossed the line when they did that to go into a house of worship and spew their nonsense. And I’m a conservative man, and I think that we’ve about had it with their crap, you know?
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 07 :
And we’ve been sitting back and not doing anything. I think our government needs to do more against these people, prosecute them. And this is really insurrection of the country. So that’s the way I feel, Joey. I just want to put my two cents in.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, Ron, I appreciate it. Thank you for the call. Thanks for listening. 800-655-6453. Well, it hasn’t gone unnoticed. The president noticed it yesterday, of course, the story of this sanctuary. You know, the texter’s right, and I hadn’t even thought about it. The left is so big on sanctuary cities. A church is a sanctuary, for sure. and a church should be protected. But they’re not interested in that. You know, Eric Hansen made a good point earlier, too. The left has always been, you know, there’s January 6th. We cannot keep hearing about January 6th and these mobs entering the Capitol. Well, they were okay with a mob entering a church yesterday. Is that not the same thing? They’re just a bunch of hypocrites when you get right down to it. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon this morning on Newsmax said that the FBI has assembled a team and that this has gotten the attention at the highest levels of the Department of Justice. Here’s Harmeet Dhillon.
SPEAKER 09 :
already two prosecutors from my office on their way to Minneapolis, and they’ll be there this morning. We have an FBI team assembled and local prosecutors as well. This is going to get the highest attention from the Department of Justice because there is no more sacred right in our Constitution than the right to assemble and pray to God. And there are federal laws that protect that right and what happened here was a shameful exercise of virtue signaling disruption fear terror you can see children in this video being ushered out the back by their terrorized mothers and this is illegal and i want to add before people start spazzing about the first amendment that the biden administration prosecuted people peacefully praying outside abortion clinics yes For much, much less. Prosecuted them, prosecuted them under conspiracy statutes, under the Klan Act, which I also have jurisdiction over at the DOJ. And so the people who did this made a big, big mistake, whoever they are. We are investigating exactly who they are, who coordinated with them, who paid for it, and who was there. And this will be met with the full force of the United States Department of Justice, as the Attorney General has directed. And we discussed yesterday with the pastor, who was totally shaken. He was with his family. We want to make sure everyone felt safe. And there will be further legal action in coming days.
SPEAKER 08 :
You know, that’s a good point that the Biden administration protected prayer at abortion clinics. What’s the difference here? Joey Hudson, in for Mike.
