I have to issue an apology. I have a confession to make. I went negative yesterday. Don’t let me get negative like that again. I overreacted to the announcement from Tom Holman that they were pulling ice out of Minnesota. And some of you said, Mike, calm down. It’s okay. The locals were finally cooperating with the feds. Things were calming down there. Somebody had to blink. It’s not the end of the world. And I was concerned there was going to be a cacophony of shrill, crazy, over-the-top reactions from the mainstream media, from the left, from everywhere else, saying, oh, look, we won, the mob won. And that didn’t really happen last night, did it? It really, it isn’t that big a deal. And as Holman pointed out, they found about 3,000 missing kids. They got a whole lot of illegals out of Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the state. And now it’s time to de-escalate and move on. And it’s not the end of the world. And it just hit me for some reason the wrong way. I don’t want to let the bad guys win. And if you’re in the streets obstructing law enforcement, you’re a bad guy. If you think that walking around banging pots and pans and impeding lawful enforcement of illegal immigration is a good thing, you’re the bad guy. And I don’t like the mob to win. But I apologize because I did overreact. We’ve got so many things to celebrate right now, and we’ve got so much to look forward to in this year. Look, they just released the Consumer Price Index today. Holy cow. President Trump has successfully lowered annual inflation to the lowest in years. In fact, that was the way they covered it over on CNN. CNN reported that today’s number for January is the lowest annual inflation rate for CORE since March of 2021. So let me get this straight. It’s being reported that crime is plummeting in America. We know that the border is secure again. Inflation is coming down. Wages are going up. This week, the jobs report came out. Jobs are booming. I mean, every measurable indicator says that we are absolutely sailing along in a tremendous direction. And yet, and yet, there’s a perception that somehow Democrats have momentum. And I don’t understand that on any level at all. Why? Because they’re against voter ID laws? Why? Because they want open borders? They want to release dangerous criminal illegals into our communities? Just what factor exactly plays in… Brian Kilmeade from Fox News Channel is being skewered Because he’s going around saying, oh, your numbers don’t lie. Look at these special elections. But the question is, again, if there’s momentum, how do you explain that? And look, to Brian’s point, they have won a bunch of local, you know, sort of know-nothing races. I mean, I’m not trying to minimize these special elections, but they’re not particularly significant nationally. So what do you attribute that to? If Brian is right, that the numbers are showing the Democrats are winning, and they’re in weird places, Alabama, Texas. I mean, there’s some red states that the Democrats have flipped. How? How? What’s the message? What’s the winning message for the Democrats? How? I’d love to know what it is. I’m trying to pretend to be a Democrat. Well, you know, I want those criminals in the streets. Yeah, I love, I want open borders. Yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket. I want the stock market to crash. I want to lose my butt in my 401k. Yeah, I want to pay through the nose. I want to pay $10 a gallon for gas. Yeah, yeah, that’s the ticket. What possible momentum do the Democrats have? Is it Epstein? Maybe it’s an Epstein thing. I mean, and that doesn’t even make sense. Do you see this week a big Goldman Sachs official? quit her job at Goldman Sachs because she’s apparently, according to the Epstein files, was all cozy and tight with Jeffrey Epstein. And they’re all buddy-buddy, and I guess she was functioning as his attorney. You know what the mainstream media left out? She was Obama’s chief counsel. See, this is the problem with the Epstein thing. There’s people on both sides of the aisle who evidently are up to their eyeballs in the Epstein files. But there’s one guy who’s got a clean record. He’s the guy that the left thinks they can really pin Epstein to. Check out what Jesse Waters said last night on Fox News about President Trump and Epstein. That’s why he’s never in Gutfeld.

The other thing is, Jesse, that we noticed once again at these hearings that when you take the shot of the members of Congress that could have been there, a lot of the seats are vacant. The ones who are there are the ones who are trying to raise a little bit of money for their races. So Eric Swalwell was there, Jasmine Crockett was there, and they’re in primaries.

Sure. Situation is like this, Dana Perino. Trump kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago, then called the cops on him, then arrested him, arrested Maxwell. And they’re like, release the file. He’s like, you sure you want me to? You really sure you want me to? Fine. Have at it. And they’re still yelling at his people. Right. It’s politics. She’s got to go up there. She takes her lumps. They scream. I used to think we should treat men and women differently. I don’t believe we should anymore. You cannot yell at a woman the same way you yell at a man. It makes you look worse. Of course, he’s talking about the Pambandi hearing, and Jesse’s saying these Democrats shrieking at Pambandi. But he’s right. Trump turned on Epstein when he found out what kind of man he was, kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago, Epstein was scheming and plotting to try to figure out how to stop Trump from winning. Trump had him arrested. Trump had Ghislaine Maxwell arrested. Trump’s Justice Department brought some accountability to the whole horrible, nefarious activity. And they’re still yelling at him. So Jesse’s right. Are you sure you want the Epstein files out there? Because it just cost a scalp of Obama’s chief counsel, this woman who was a big shot at Goldman Sachs. She quit yesterday because she’s all over the Epstein files. Democrat. Obama chief counsel. But is that the reason Republicans are staying home in some of these elections? How do you explain Democrat momentum? That’s my question. What in the world do you think is responsible if it’s true? See, I don’t even think it’s true. I don’t think Kilmeade is right. So my take on that and what I think he’s talking about is I don’t, you know, it’s accountability. I don’t think accountability. Republicans are going to go out and vote until these people from Epstein, all the fraud going on in Minnesota, California, even red states, until that stuff’s held accountable, I don’t think people are going to vote. And it needs to be, you know, we’re focused on and it’s a terrible situation. All everybody’s focused on right now is Nancy Guthrie or Savannah Guthrie’s mom, Nancy Guthrie, missing. And that’s horrible. Right. We’ve got some major problems that need to be… Yes, the Goldman Sachs person, she resigned. Tim Walz isn’t going to run again, but… Okay, just because they’re doing that, there’s no accountability. They’re not going to get in trouble for it, and I think that’s becoming a major issue.

And it’s a compelling argument. Here’s the counterargument to that, and I’m not saying you’re wrong. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not disagreeing with your perception, but it’s never going to be enough for you. And I don’t mean you literally, Corey. I’m just saying for those who sit around and say, well, until I see you, you’re never going to see Obama in handcuffs. Okay? Got to break it to you. You’re never going to see Hillary in a jumpsuit. Not going to happen. But I think there are people that have that mindset, until I see Obama in handcuffs, I’m not going to vote. And if that’s the case, that temper tantrum is going to cause, is going to lead to the ruination of our country, Corey. Because Republicans are going to stay home. They’re going to say, because it’s never enough. And that’s the problem. Again, I don’t think your argument is a bad one. I do think there’s a rising. There are people and there’s all these podcasters that are wallowing in Epstein. I mean, and it’s like what Jesse said last night on Fox News. Oh, you really want all the Epstein files released? Because there’s a whole bunch of Democrats. that have some kind of a culpability. You should have seen. Did you see the thing on social media? Alan Dershowitz was in some knock-down drag-out with some other guy, and the guy is screaming to Alan Dershowitz that you paid off some young woman or something, and Dershowitz flipped out and said, I’m suing you. That’s a lie. I didn’t pay a dime. And here’s the hard part about the Epstein thing. Everybody knew the guy. Everybody. celebrities, politicians. I saw Brit Hume yesterday. Brit Hume, this mainstay, you know, kind of Walter Cronkite kind of figure over on Fox News. Brit Hume reposted a guy that said, Here’s what people don’t want to say about Epstein. The guy was charming. The guy was manipulative. The guy was connected to everybody. Everybody knew him. People were hanging out with him. This guy does this long thing about how people of all stripes, Democrats, Republicans, independents, celebrities, they were all in this guy’s orbit. And… You know, here’s the dirty little secret. Being in his orbit didn’t necessarily mean you had any knowledge of the horrific behavior that he and this Ghislaine Maxwell engaged in. But are there people that got away with stuff? I guess. Okay, bring them to justice. Investigate them. Thomas Massey keeps squawking about all the people he knows that are on a list or on the list, supposedly. Name them. Go to the floor of the House and tell us who they are. You can do that on the floor of the House. You’re protected. You’re not going to get sued. He’s not doing that for some reason. And so, you know, I’m as sick of the Epstein drama as I am the Nancy Guthrie coverage. And not to minimize whatever happened to that poor woman. My gosh. I told you yesterday about the white tent that’s up now in front of her house. You’d have thought they found the Lindbergh baby. The white tent. They found a glove. Okay, they found a glove and the sheriff isn’t cooperating with the feds. And the sheriff sent the glove to a floor to let. I keep watching this and my eyes glaze over thinking, are they going to catch the person? Are they going to get this poor woman back? Or are we just going to go on and on and on? Look, I know some of these folks at Fox News. Some of them are my friends. I’m not going to mention any names. I’ve got to believe they’re sitting there saying, are we doing this again? Are we going to spend more time on the white tent? You know, if I’m not mistaken, everything about this story, by the way, is so goofy. Didn’t they find the glove in the yard? Where did they find the glove, Tracy? Tracy’s following this. I mean, the side of the road, you just now found a glove? It took you two weeks to find the bad guy’s glove? And Tracy had the funniest line yesterday. I mean, unintentionally funny. There’s nothing funny about this story, of course. But she had a funny line. Oh, great, you put a white tent up over the blood splatters that have been there for two and a half weeks that everybody’s walked all over. So good. So good. You got the white tent up. Even over on CNN, Harry Enten, the numbers guy, pointed out this week how a vast majority of Americans, they’re not even close. The fact is, almost every American, including blacks and Latinos, favor the SAVE Act.

What’s the racial breakdown on this? Right. Because I think a lot of people make the argument that people of color, nonwhite Americans have a harder time procuring a photo ID to vote. But even here, take a look here. Favorite photo ID to vote. Eighty five percent of white people favorite. Eighty two percent of Latino. Seventy six percent of black. Black Americans favor it. So the bottom line is this. Voter ID is not controversial in this country. A photo ID to vote is not controversial in this country. It is not controversial by party, and it is not controversial by race. The vast majority of Americans agree with Nicki Minaj that, in fact, you should have a photo ID to be able to vote.

So why are the people on the left, like Barack Obama… and the other CNN panelists, the hosts, why are they screaming about opposing photo ID? I’d give anything to know the answer to that question. Even over on C-SPAN, you know how they have those call-in shows on C-SPAN, and they have the Republican line and the Democrat line, and they have an independent line. And you’ve got to be in one of those categories, and you call a particular number. If you’re a Republican, you call this number. And if you’re an independent, you call this number. Hi, thanks for taking my call. I got a couple of points. First one, voter ID. I’m 65 years old, and I can’t buy a lighter in the convenience store without an ID. So the hubbub about the IDs is ridiculous.

And that’s C-SPAN. It’s everywhere. And yet to hear Abby Phillips and Sonny Hostin, Barack Obama, I mean, this is the hill they want to die on. And so you have to ask yourself, why are Democrats desperately trying to cling to no voter integrity, no election integrity? Well, the answer is easy, because they want to cheat. Incidentally, John Solomon from Just the News said yesterday that there’s going to be a big announcement coming today. Now, this clip is from yesterday, so I presume this is today. There’s going to be news in Arizona over election integrity. Here’s the great John Solomon.

I’ve been telling you all week, keep an eye on Arizona. Keep an eye on Arizona. I think there’s a Georgia-like event in Arizona, like what happened in Fulton County. I think tomorrow is a likely day. So I just want to put that on your calendar. Keep an eye tomorrow. I see Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem going down there. Now, why is that important? The Homeland Security Department oversees the election machines and election counting capabilities. CISA and the Homeland Security Department deal with that. The FBI Justice Department deal with criminal violations. So he’s down there for a reason, and I think my reporting suggests that there will be some sort of important election integrity event tomorrow, Maricopa County in Arizona.
