SPEAKER 03 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 01 :
Okay, it’s Friday, May the 1st. I think we’ve got to start with a smile. I didn’t have Governor Ron DeSantis imitating Hakeem Jeffries on my bingo card. Oh, this is good. After the week we had with the redistricting, after the drama, over Virginia and the ridiculous ballot initiative they put together. Oh, do you want fair elections temporarily? If so, let’s redistrict Virginia. And then along came Louisiana, along came Texas, along came the Supreme Court, and suddenly the Democrats have face-planted. Remember when Hakeem Jeffries was marching around saying F-A-F-O and all that crap? We’re going to go on maximum warfare against any Florida legislator who dares to redistrict? Well, now that it’s done, Governor DeSantis wanted to take a little bit of a… Victory lap.
SPEAKER 06 :
We’re going to do maximum warfare against Republicans. Florida Republicans, you F around. You’re going to find out all this stuff. And, you know, what I said was, listen. And he’s like, oh, if you do the redistricting, we’re going to take out all your members. We’re going to do all this stuff. And what I said was, go ahead. Make my day. You don’t think we’re going to. You want to come down here and spend money in Florida? Roll the dice and take your chances, but don’t think that you can come down here, issue threats to us, and somehow you’re going to make us flinch. That is not happening, and in fact, it did not happen, because as soon as he came out and started doing that last week, Florida legislature turned around and they passed a new map.
SPEAKER 01 :
That’s how it’s done. That’s how you get it done. That’s leadership right there. And if we’re going to win in November, if we’re going to save our country, this is what it’s going to take. It’s all on the line. And look at the news. Did you see the CBS report? I went to bed last night. I thought I was having a hallucinogenic dream. Headline from CBS. The U.S. economy expanded at an annual rate of 2% in the first three months of 2026. The U.S. economy is rebounding. The GDP is rising at rates exceeding expectations. Yesterday was the news that unemployment benefit applications were the lowest they’ve been since 1969. Yes, I know gas prices are high. We’re at war with Iran. A war that evidently the left thinks that we’re the bad guys in. Iran’s the good guys, we’re the bad guys. Did you see Scott Jennings lose it last night on CNN? He finally had enough. He’s got some kid, and it is a kid. I think I’ve got socks older than this kid on CNN. Some leftist, far-left podcaster. And they’re going back and forth. And it got ugly. In fact, we did bleep, right? We made sure we got the right bleep in there today, right? Yasmin, I want to make sure we… Okay, so here’s Scott Jennings. This is a kid named Adam Mockler, whoever he is. Tracy, can you look at how old he is? He might be 21, 22. Think about what it must feel like to go on even CNN and try to smack around Scott Jennings, who is our colleague. We’ve got all kinds of news to share with you about Salem. We’ve got a big announcement coming for Monday, and I’ve got a big announcement about podcasts. Gosh, am I excited about the Eminem Extra podcast. But Scott Jennings, who comes on after me on many stations around the country, and you see him perhaps on CNN doing battle with all the liberals, he’s going at it with this kid, Adam Mockler, 23 years old, all right? So you’ve got this wet-behind-the-ears, smart-aleck kid mixing it up with Scott Jennings. And Scott’s about had enough with these leftists who are rooting for Iran. Scott’s attitude is, how about you root for America? How about you hope that America can prevail and get rid of Iran’s ability to nuke Israel or anyone else? So they’re going back and forth. Now, again, we had to bleep. But Scott finally had enough of this kid waving his hands in Scott’s face last night.
SPEAKER 07 :
We all know that Scott Jennings is more than happy to defend a war with a country that starts with the letters IRA, that we are currently failing, that is going to put us trillions and trillions of dollars more in debt. I was only a few years old while you were in the administration defending prior endless wars. Now this war is failing. Eight weeks is endless to you? Okay, you said it was going to be four to six weeks.
SPEAKER 01 :
Wait a minute.
SPEAKER 07 :
I debated you on TV four to six weeks ago and you said we were weeks away from it. Now you’re making condescending remarks because you can’t defend the fact that this war is not going your way. Wait, one more time. Not going.
SPEAKER 05 :
Not going.
SPEAKER 07 :
One political. Name one political concession.
SPEAKER 05 :
I’m not going to have this guy. Everybody. Everybody. Hang tight. Now, everybody calm down, okay?
SPEAKER 07 :
We’re having a debate. You can respond to the points that he’s making. Can you name a political concession that we’ve got here?
SPEAKER 04 :
We’re trying to flash back to the war the skinheads had in my studio. I would be mad if I had to.
SPEAKER 07 :
I would be mad if I had to defend this war.
SPEAKER 05 :
Scott, you can respond.
SPEAKER 07 :
We have a very simple… We have a very simple goal to keep terrorists and that was that was the exchange.
SPEAKER 01 :
And Scott’s right. The simple goal is we got to keep we got to beat the terrorists and we got to win. But we had to bleep that because he said, get your effing hands out of my face. Now, I’m sure, I don’t know Scott well. I’m going to get to know him a little better on the cruise this November. We’re going to have the big Gulf of America cruise out of Fort Lauderdale beginning November the 14th. Scott and I will be your co-hosts, along with Larry O’Connor, who I am very proud and pleased to share has just been named Salem Radio Network and Salem News Channel’s new morning show host to replace Chris Stegall, and that begins Monday. We’re thrilled for Town Hall’s Larry O’Connor. He’s been a stalwart at WMAL in Washington, D.C., the morning show host there. He’ll continue in that capacity, and he’s becoming our latest host. Network host, my friend and colleague Larry O’Connor joins the lineup on Monday, and Larry’s going to be on the Gulf of America cruise too. So it’ll be Scott, it’ll be Larry, it’ll be Kurt Schlichter, Jennifer Horn, and yours truly, November 14th through the 21st. The Gulf of America cruise aboard the Eurodam cruise ship. We’re going to have a wonderful visit through the Caribbean. We’re going to be doing events on the ship. You won’t want to miss out. Text the keyword cruise to 94878 so we can send you back the link with all the details about the Gulf of America cruise. Text cruise to 94878 or go to mikeonline.com. Go to mikeonline.com for details. And I’ve got another big announcement to make. We’ve been working on this and working on this. And I can pull the curtain back. The reason the announcement for the Eminem Extra podcast has been delayed is because we had to wait until Larry was in place to start the morning show because Mark Davis, my dear friend and colleague from Dallas, who’s going to co-host this upcoming podcast with me, he was having to do double duty. And it was too long a day for him to fill in for the Chris DeGaulle show and do the podcast. Now that Larry’s announcement is in place, beginning Monday. We’re starting a podcast-only segment called the M&M Extra Podcast. Mark Davis and I have visited for years together on his morning show. People love the exchange. We call it the M&M Experience. Well, now M&M Extra is for podcast and YouTube only. Beginning Monday at noon Eastern, we will go live on YouTube with an M&M Extra Podcast. It’s just Mark and Mike. It’ll be live beginning Monday at noon on YouTube. And then later in the day, it’ll be available wherever you download your podcast. So wherever you get your podcast, Spotify, Apple, it’s all going to kick off Monday. Now, I need your help right now. Eric, give me a number. Tell me where we are right now on subscribers. Because this is all kind of a brave new world for me with digital and YouTube and podcasting and all this. And we’re going to embrace this with relish. Because I have a good feeling about the Eminem Extra podcast. But I need you to help us kick this thing off. I’m told that if we can launch Monday with at least 1,000 subscribers to our YouTube channel, this thing is destined to be a hit. Now, I don’t know what that means, what the metrics are, how it works. Here’s what I ask from you. Go right now. on YouTube and subscribe to the M&M Extra channel. You’ll see a picture of Mark and Mike. You’ll see it’s purple and it’s kind of a cool design, M&M Extra. I think we’re over 700 right now. We just need a couple hundred more. I’ll bet we can get it in the next five minutes. So please go to YouTube. Find the Eminem Extra channel and subscribe. Then you’ll get notifications when we have new episodes and you’ll be able to engage with us. And I’m thrilled because Mark is one of my dearest friends in the world. He’s a smart guy. He’s a great guy. He’s a legendary talk show host. He pops up all the time on Will Kane’s show and News Nation. He’s been the legendary morning host in Dallas, Fort Worth for many years. And we’re going to start the M&M Extra podcast only for the podcast and YouTube spaces beginning Monday at noon on YouTube. So please do me that favor and take a moment and subscribe on YouTube to M&M Extra. And let’s get it over 1,000 before we kick off day one this Monday. In the meantime, here in the Relief Factor studios, we’ve got a lot to keep up with. 800-655-MIKE. Can I ask you a fundamental question? Isn’t it true that the left is rooting for Iran to be the United States? And what does that say about today’s Democrat Party? Welcome into the Mike Gallagher Show for Friday, May the 1st, 800-655-6453. I hope you join us. You don’t have a weight problem. You’ve got a body that’s in survival mode. No medication, crash diet, or app is going to fix that. Hey, look, the GLP-1 drugs are exploding in popularity, and for some they’re a useful tool, but they don’t address why your body started storing fat in the first place. At PhD Weight Loss, they treat unwanted weight as a symptom, a signal that your metabolism, hormones, and stress response need attention. When those get corrected, the weight comes off naturally and it stays off. They’re not just helping you lose weight. They’re helping you increase health span and extend longevity. I lost 53 pounds on the program and I kept it off. Right now, call PHD Weight Loss. Mention my G. We’ll get you two free weeks in the program and they’ll pay for your food. That’s a $1,500 value completely free. Call 864-644-1900 and mention my G. 864-644-1900. Mention my G. Or go to MyPhDWeightLoss.com. myphdweightloss.com. No more guessing, no more short-term fixes, just a smarter way forward.
SPEAKER 05 :
Thank you. Thank you.
SPEAKER 02 :
Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 01 :
Look at that text message from Jacksonville. Mike, I’ll have you know that I do not generally go on YouTube, and I’ve never subscribed to anything, but I just did that just for you. Wow. We’ll be at 1,000 any moment now. I think we’re at 960 or something. Thank you very much for giving us a good start to the Eminem Extra podcast, which kicks off on Monday. Monday, Monday, Monday. A lot of great theories about the hatred on Erica Kirk. And a lot of text messages that suggest that this is about jealousy. I think it’s the climate we’re in. I’m telling you it has to do with how we’re desensitized. Speaking of being sensitive, does your pooch have a sensitive belly? Maybe dry, flaky skin? I’ll bet you got to get them rough greens. Right now, you could be feeding your dog something that is already bad for them. Have you heard about the dog food recalls that happen? They happen more than you think. Salmonella, vitamin D levels toxic enough to cause kidney failure. You can’t control what’s in the bag, right? But you could, you can control what you add to it. That’s what Rough Greens is all about. America’s number one dog supplement packed with live probiotics, enzymes, omega oils, over 20 vitamins and minerals, all natural, made in the USA. Thousands of dogs all over America are feeling younger, more energetic, and healthier than ever before. I’ve seen it firsthand. I’ve got a couple of doggy nephews, a pair of cocker spaniels named Jesse and Simon. Jesse was scratching in the middle of the night. They couldn’t figure out how to get it to stop. How to get the scratching to stop? Well, guess what? It stopped now, thanks to Rough Greens. I’ll get you your first Jumpstart trial bag free. You just cover the shipping costs. Go to roughgreens.com. R-U-F-F. Roughgreens.com. Enter the discount code MikeG. Rough Greens. So great. Your dog will ask for it by name. Diane is in Virginia. She says she can tell us why women in particular don’t like Erica Kirk. Hi, Diane. Thanks for joining us. How are you today?
SPEAKER 05 :
I’m doing great. I’ve been watching this, and I think a lot of women aren’t fessing up to why they hate her. And I think the stage was set, unfortunately, the first time Erica came out and presented herself publicly after Charlie’s murder. And by that, I mean she didn’t look like a grieving widow. The women saw her come out, perfect hair, perfect makeup, a flashy ensemble. Somebody gave Erica some bad advice. She needed to come out.
SPEAKER 01 :
But wait a minute, though. But wait a minute. Time out. Time out. Bad advice? How are you supposed to grieve? What’s she supposed to do when her husband gets ripped apart by a bullet? What’s the right way to grieve? Wear sackcloth and ashes? I mean, what’s she supposed to do?
SPEAKER 05 :
You know what? You know what? I agree with you, but I know how a lot of women are. I think of Jackie Kennedy, the way she looked in her grief. It doesn’t mean it’s fair, but this is how women judge other women. Charlie was in our house.
SPEAKER 01 :
Yeah, yep. And if that’s true, I’m sorry, Diane, I’m fighting the clock here, but if that’s true, I really pray for those people who would be so shallow as to think they can tell somebody else. How you should grieve. There’s no book for that. There’s no manual. And take it from somebody who’s been there. When you lose your spouse, there’s nobody to tell you what the right or wrong thing is to do. There are stages of grief. I had to learn about that. I had a lot of great support from my church. and the pastors who worked with me closely after Denise died, and I needed them, and I learned that you’ve got to go through all of these different steps. You’ve got to get through the denial first. You’ve got to get through the anger, but you’ve got to go through it all. You have to experience it. You can’t avoid it. In my case, just to be very selfish here and talk about losing my wife, As sort of a public figure, I had to do hours of a talk show every day. And that was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do because that was about the last thing I wanted to do when I had to say goodbye to the love of my life. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Leave her alone. She doesn’t deserve anything that she’s getting right now. Coming up, some big news on access to retirement accounts. President Trump continuing to try to make things more affordable for Americans and good GDP news. But Scott Jennings, last night on CNN, he had enough. Told that kid, get your effing hands out of my face. Oops. Stick around. More coming up on a busy Friday.
SPEAKER 02 :
Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 01 :
Got some news to share with you. First of all, Monday we’re going to launch the M&M Extra podcast. I’m as excited about this podcast project as anything I’ve been involved with for many years. About a decade or so ago, Mark Davis and I started doing a morning visit on his show in Dallas. He hosts the morning show on 660 AM The Answer. We got turned into something called the M&M Experience. And it’s always wonderful when something like that turns into a very organic blessing. People love that segment. It’s about 10, 15 minutes long. And we do it every morning on his show. Well, we decided, wouldn’t it be kind of fun if we did a podcast-only Eminem experience? And we’re calling it Eminem Extra. We’re going to start Monday at noon. Eastern, 11 Central, on YouTube. It’s going to go live. We’re going to do a daily YouTube show at noon, Eastern, 11 Central. And then it will be released on all the podcast platforms, Apple and Spotify and wherever you download your podcasts. There’s something very, very special. It’s the only word I can come up with. Unique. Compelling. And I ask for your support by getting an early jump on it and subscribing to the Eminem Extra YouTube channel right now. We’re now, I think, over 1,100 subscribers to kick things off on Monday. But the more, the merrier. Because when you subscribe, you’ll get notified when there’s a new episode. It’s going to be about 30, 40, maybe 45 minutes. I think you’re going to enjoy the heck out of it. Because it’s a couple of guys talking about politics, culture. and we’re going to be in a little bit of a different environment than the typical terrestrial talk show. So I think you’ll deeply appreciate what we can bring to you. But we ask you right now, and look, the numbers are great. We did over 1,000 subscribers just in the last couple of hours. So to get started, again, it’s going to launch Monday at noon, Eastern, 11 Central, on YouTube. Find the M&M Extra channel and subscribe to it so that you’ll be notified. And we will be live every weekday, noon Eastern, 11 Central, and then it will be available on podcasts, wherever you get your podcasts. And I think you’re going to really enjoy the heck out of it. Also, yesterday, and the reason for the timing, the reason that we can kind of go forward is that now Mark has been freed from his fill-in duties. on the Salem Radio Network because Salem Media announced yesterday that Larry O’Connor, who’s a friend of ours and a colleague and a great guy, he’s town hall editor and host of O’Connor & Company on WMAL in Washington, D.C. He has been named our new national morning host. So he’s going to fill the slot formerly occupied by… Chris DeGaulle, Chris resigned in order to run for Congress, and he’ll be replaced by Larry. He can’t ever be replaced. He’s going to make a great congressman. But Larry O’Connor is going to do a great job. And Larry is going to join us on the Gulf of America cruise in November. So that’ll be a Mike Gallagher, Scott Jennings, Larry O’Connor, and more cruise. MikeOnline.com for details. Okay, so a lot of news there. Good news about spring and summer and grilling. Stick around.
SPEAKER 02 :
Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 01 :
That’s pretty neat. I’m just looking at our new YouTube account for the M&M Extra podcast. We started out today. Eric and I, early in the morning, we were talking at 6 in the morning, we had one subscriber. Right now, 1,130 subscribers, which is going to be a good start for Monday’s show. So thank you for subscribing. Thank you for going to YouTube, finding the M&M Extra podcast. You’ll see the picture of Mark and Mike. And we’re going to have a great time. It’s going to be a very different approach to the day’s headlines. I can’t wait to do a deep dive on Erica Kirk. That’s one of the first things we’re going to tackle because I am so devastated by the heartlessness that a lot of good people are exhibiting towards Erica. It’s one of the craziest things. I had a back and forth last night with a good friend of mine, one of the nicest, best people you’ll ever meet. Oh, she’s an opportunist. Oh, gibberish. She gave a statement this week, kind of pushing back against her critics. Kayleigh McEnany wrote on X, At the deepest level of suffering that a human can experience, Erica Kirk pointed to Jesus Christ and expressed her enduring faith in him. Kayleigh went on to say, I am appalled by the attacks on Erica. I know that Satan will always attack the most valiant warriors for the kingdom. As brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s continue to lift up the Kirk family in our prayers. And that’s great advice. I had a back and forth last night. I’ve got three people in my life who are all good people. They’re not bad people, I promise you. And they don’t have it in their heart, it seems, to have the proper sympathy and compassion for this young woman. Like they’re going to tell somebody how to grieve? It’s the wildest thing I’ve ever seen. And Kaylee is right. Satan has got a hold on some of the best and brightest minds and warmest souls. These are good people. These are not bad people I’m talking about. And I think a lot of it has to do with just the tone of our political discourse, that even smart, decent people lose a hold of their humanity. Something happens where they just don’t see people like Erica Kirk as a wife, as a widow, as a mother. They see her as kind of a character in a show. worthy of derision. I don’t understand. It’s one of the first things, though, that Mark and I are going to dive into, but we’re going to do a lot of lighthearted stuff as well. And speaking of lighthearted, I’m telling you, the reaction we’re getting to the MyGrilly has been wild. It’s not a secret that we’ve welcomed MyGrilly as a new sponsor to the Mike Gallagher Show. The feedback that we’re getting, Thomas, wrote on Facebook. He was asking how many wings can you grill in a mic. First of all, my grillie, if you haven’t heard about it, it is this amazing, I call it a canister, a little, Matt will give a better explanation for you here in just a moment. I’ve never had corn on the cob like the corn on the cob that I made for myself and some friends the other day. Ski from Ocala, Florida called Matt. Couldn’t believe Matt actually answered the phone, but that’s how he does it. He’s the my grillie guy, and he is so hands-on. He was so thrilled with the MyGrilly customer experience, he told Matt, you’re refining customer service. Susan in South Carolina bought three four-packs, wanted to know all about the other MyGrilly sizes. This product is a game changer. Here he is, the MyGrilly guy, the inventor of MyGrilly, the one and only Matt, who’s joining us. I see the cardboard cutout you got over your shoulder, my friend, with a MyGrilly in your left hand. How’s the Mike Gallagher audience reacting so far to MyGrilly?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, Mike, thank you. And they love the My Girlie, and they love you. When I speak to them, they always say how much they love your show. But it’s amazing. I spoke to a woman yesterday, Judy from Texas, and she just wanted to make sure the order was all correct. And she goes, I love Mike Gallagher. He is the best.
SPEAKER 01 :
I’m just telling you. That’s amazing. Well, we love them, and we love you, and we love what you’re bringing to people because, hey, this is May Day, May 1st. People are grilling. People are cooking out. First of all, explain in your words. I love telling everybody what this is. It’s a basket. It’s a way that you can pop in corn on the cob, salmon, veggies, even desserts. You put it in the little basket. You flip it on the grill. But explain how you came up with the idea. And for somebody just hearing about MyGrilly for the first time, tell us what it is.
SPEAKER 04 :
So how I came up with it was one night I went to bed thinking, I’ve got to find a better way to grill vegetables. I just need to get simple vegetables to be grilled, Brussels sprouts and zucchini and some of, I even want like spinach and all these other gadgets out there weren’t doing it for me. So I came up with this idea, wrote it down, next morning got up, went to look for materials to build this idea. And I have to give all the credit to the Lord. He’s like, no, you want to use this material over here. And that’s what the material I use is the basket you see there. And I said, and I’m saying to myself, I don’t think this is going to work. This just does not look like it’s going to work. And so I grilled that evening for my wife. She didn’t know I had made this stuff. my grillie and she said can you do some zucchini and grill it so I tried it out I cut the zucchini in sort of long ways I cut them in little discs put two zucchinis in there put them on the grill for eight minutes I sprayed some olive oil on it Give it to my wife. I go back out to the deck, and I hear her go, wow, this is the best zucchini I’ve ever had. How did you do this? Wow.
SPEAKER 01 :
Matt, I got to tell you about my corn on the cob. I can never cook corn on the cob. It’s always burned on one side, and then it’s raw on the other. I never do it right. I try to flip it around. I can’t do it. I put the corn on the cob in my grill a week and a half or so ago. It’s the most delicious corn on the cob I ever experienced. It is an unbelievable. I mean, look, I heard about it from my buddy Chris DeGaulle, but I didn’t quite believe it. I thought it can’t be this good. It’s every bit this good. And then you can pop it. It’s easy to clean up. All you do is flip it around. It is an incredible tool that you’ve got to have, MyGrilly. And I want everybody to go to MyGrilly. And Grilly is with an IE. So go to MyGrilly.com slash Mike, because you’re giving a great offer, right? 33% off of, is it the $4?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, and you’ve got to go to the MyGrilly forward slash Mike page to get the deals because if you don’t land on that page and you try to shop outside of that page, there’s no deals. You’ve got to have the deal.
SPEAKER 01 :
You’ve got to have the slash Mike. So go to MyGrill. And, Matt, we don’t do this very often. I know you’re busy and you’re in the thick of it, but I’m so pumped about MyGrilly and how excited I am about telling the world about it. that I wanted to bring you back on, mygrilly.com slash Mike. And you can make that order and get this MyGrilly in time for your grilling season because there’s nothing like it. Vegetables, desserts, corn on the cob, salmon, chicken. It’s going to come out perfect on the grill. You’ll be your family’s hero. It’s going to be a product you’ll thank us all for. Matt, you’re the best. Keep fighting the good fight. He’s one of us. Matt, the MyGrilly guy, mygrilly.com slash Mike. Go there right now to place your order. And again, 33% off. There’s like a couple different sizes. You want a smaller basket, a bigger basket. But this is revolutionary. And you’ll be the grilling king with MyGrilly. MyGrilly, I-E. That’s MyGrilly. Grilly’s with an I-E. MyGrilly.com slash Mike. MyGrilly.com slash Mike. Happy grilling!
