Karen brings up one of the most intriguing stories from the 21st century to light; that of “Mel’s Hole”, a giant void in a yard in Ellensburg, WA.  Here’s what Wikipedia says about the hole:

The legend of the bottomless hole started on February 21, 1997, when a man identifying himself as Mel Waters appeared as a guest on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell.
