Welcome to the America’s Veterans Stories podcast. Kim Monson is your host. Ninety-seven year young James Scott was born in the mountains of eastern Kentucky into a very large family. Scott shares stories of growing up in the Depression and, as a child, working on the farm to provide food for the family. In 1944, seventeen year old Scott lied about his age to get into the Army.
