All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560, hour number two. Appreciate y’all joining us today. And again, thank you so much. And Oh, what can I say? Lots going on. Lots of cabinet picks may get into a few more of those, although a lot of those will still have to be confirmed. You know, one thing, Charlie, maybe you can help me with this. I was looking today. I’m assuming HHS has to be a confirmed position as well. Or is that just an appointment? Charlie says highly confirmed for high position, so most likely would be. At any rate, I didn’t get a chance to look all that stuff up. If some of you know these answers, I mean, is every single cabinet position confirmed? For example, chief of staff is not confirmed. That’s just his pick as to who’s going to run chief of staff. White House secretary, press secretary, that’s not a confirmation position. That’s just a announcement on his part. He can pick whoever he wants to and can change it midstream if he likes. So I’m not – I’m sorry to say – Or maybe not sorry to say, because I’ve got better things to do. I’m not really up on who has to be confirmed and who doesn’t. I know some of the… Attorney General, Matt Gaetz. That one would have to be confirmed, of course. Those I understand. But not… I don’t think all of them have to be. Now… In other news, and I’ve got several things to talk about, and probably won’t get to everything that I’ve got to cover in this hour. No guests this hour. I actually had a guest that was supposed to be with us during this hour, and make sure that I get his name correct. Tevi Troy, you heard me promo him even. He had something come up today, will not be able to join me until 4 o’clock Monday. So for those of you that maybe were hoping to hear him today and heard the promo, I will be talking to him on Monday. We’re going to talk about AI, Elon Musk, some things along those lines. That will be Monday instead of today. He had something come up and could not join us. Now, in breaking news today, Donald Trump, President Trump, said that he plans to get rid of the 7,500 federal electric vehicle credit. In other words, the EV tax credit, the federal one, he plans to eliminate. Now, I believe that was in the infrastructure bill. The inflation bill is what I call it. So I’m not sure exactly what he’ll do along those lines. I don’t know exactly what he has to go through step by step to make that happen. But let me just tell you this. If that, in fact, happens, this is my prediction, and I don’t think I’m wrong in this, EVs will be dead. Pardon the pun. But they will be. Even with Musk, yes, they will be. Now, that doesn’t mean that all EVs will be dead. I just think it means that some will only have state credits. They will not have the 7,500 federal credit. I’m here to tell you that there are certain EVs, a lot of them, That only get looked at and or bought because of that credit. Because in a lot of cases, Colorado, for example, it’s $7,500 and $5,000. That’s the total. And right now in Colorado, you can walk into the dealership and as long as you make under a certain amount on last year’s taxes, you can walk in and they take that right off the top of the car. You don’t even have to apply for that. It’s literally just taken off the top. Lump sum. Boom. Done. Done. So those are things that will most likely change under a Trump administration, and if that in fact does, yes, it will change how many people buy EVs. EVs are already struggling as is. This will be the nail in the coffin, if you ask me, for a lot of EVs. Not necessarily Tesla, but a lot of others that in fact will be a nail in the coffin. John and Cheyenne, go ahead.

So if I remember right from my school days, Any position that is in the chain of succession has to be confirmed. So, like, president and vice president are elected, and then it’s speaker of the House, Senate majority leader, and then it would be secretary of state, secretary of defense, you know, and on and on. Most of the cabinet positions that start with the, have the title of secretary, with the exception of, of course, attorney general, have to be confirmed. And I believe most of their deputies also have to be confirmed. Gotcha.
SPEAKER 16 :
Because they would automatically take over if something were to happen to them, right?
SPEAKER 06 :
Right, right. So like Secretary of the Army, Secretary of the Navy, Secretary of the Air Force, positions like that have to be confirmed by the Senate. Got it. So it’s a whole big list. That’s why it’s so important that he has these appointments So when he’s sworn in and the Senate’s in session, he could send them all right to them so they could start doing the hearings for confirmation. That’s what makes so long is they’re going to have a confirmation hearing on all of these secretaries. And they could milk that in the Senate if, you know, they want to. The people that are in charge of, like, say, Senate judiciary will do the attorney general. you know, Senate, uh, um, military, is it military? I can’t remember. Foreign affairs, probably military and foreign affairs.

I’m guessing. Yeah. Armed services. There you go. There you go.

Yeah. They would do the secretary of defense in the army, Navy, you know, uh, foreign affairs would do the secretary of state and the UN ambassador, which is, even though that’s an ambassador, it’s a, I think it’s a, a, uh,

confirmed position.

I believe you’re correct on that one.
SPEAKER 16 :
Yeah, I believe so too. Yes.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. So it’s just a huge amount of people that have to be confirmed for him to even hit the ground running. HHS is a prime example that does have to be secretary education, you know, all the, all the ones it’s, it’s pretty much if it’s a cabinet position, it has to be confirmed by the Senate, which, you know, that’s what makes it so hard. because if it gets to the floor of the Senate and they want to filibuster it, say a Democrat really doesn’t want Matt Gaetz, they can fight that tooth and nail as long as they can.
SPEAKER 16 :
I could see that. And by the way, that’s one I could see happening. A lot of these, I think, are pretty cut and dried, and I think you’ll get some bipartisan support. But Matt, Matt’s pretty polarizing. I don’t necessarily see that one being a slam dunk.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. My favorite conspiracy theory is that Matt’s there because Trump wanted to get rid of him, and this is the easiest way.
SPEAKER 16 :
You know what? It’s funny you said that, because I had the same conversation yesterday with a couple of different people, and I said exactly the same thing.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, I’ve read it a lot of places where he resigned from Congress, so now if he doesn’t get confirmed, he’s out of there. What is he going to do? Maybe in two years he runs for his old seat to get back because he got reelected by a pretty good margin a couple of weeks ago.
SPEAKER 16 :
He didn’t win his primary by a huge margin, though, John. No, no, but he won his election because it’s… Well, my point on that is if you get somebody in that will now replace him and that guy runs or gal runs for a couple of years and does well and he tries to primary that guy out, yeah, that probably isn’t going to happen.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. Yeah, so what does he do then?
SPEAKER 16 :
Move and go somewhere else and try to run.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. Oh, like… Like Liz Cheney? You could.
SPEAKER 16 :
I don’t know that Matt would have much other choice. And by the way, I can’t disagree with you. Now, I understand that, at least on the surface, I think Trump is doing everything he can to placate Gates because Gates is a full-time Trump supporter. And I’m not saying there’s any bad blood between those two, but I think Donald Trump is smart enough to also know that Matt is very polarizing in government himself. Again, if you’re going to put him anywhere, put him in at the AG. But at the end of the day, he’s very polarizing and, frankly, probably didn’t help Trump out a ton when it came to some of the things that he did inside of Congress. And I mean that for all of you that are out there that think Gates is, you know, everything’s in sliced bread. Trust me, the guy is not. I think Trump knows that, John, and I can’t disagree with what you’re saying. I think Trump knows he won’t get confirmed.
SPEAKER 06 :
If he does, then he just threw him to the wolves and… I don’t know. We’re not fans of him because of what he did to Kevin McCarthy.
SPEAKER 16 :
I’m not fans of him because of what he just does, period. The guy’s a loose cannon. He might be a really, really smart guy, but he has no strategy.
SPEAKER 06 :
But I don’t know if Trump would throw somebody who’s been that loyal to him under the bus.
SPEAKER 16 :
Maybe in a way, in a way, you’re kind of throwing him under the bus by making him A.G. given his past experience, because, you know, he’s going to struggle with that in confirmation.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. Am I right for him? That’s going to be the toughest one.
SPEAKER 16 :
I mean, they’re digging. They’ll dig everything out. You know, the Democrats will dig everything out that they possibly can on the guy, including some of what he’s been going through in the House already when it comes to the investigation that’s there.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. Cornyn, who I’m not a fan of, came out and said, well, we’re going to want to see everything from the House Ethics Committee for his confirmation. And frankly, I’m not sure that I can blame him for that. No, not at all, because worst thing you do is you want to see him confirmed and then something really bad come out and then he has to resign and you’ve got to start all over again.
SPEAKER 16 :
You don’t want that. You’d rather have you’d rather just go to your second choice right off the bat.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right.
SPEAKER 16 :
Which, by the way, might ultimately be the art of the deal and might be what Trump wants anyways.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. And who would be I don’t I’m a little bit vague on who would be his second choice for attorney general.
SPEAKER 16 :
Andy threw out a name the other day and he’s probably watching movies right now, so isn’t listening to me and can’t throw that out to me quickly. But he threw out something the other day and I can’t remember who he told me. I’d have to go back and look.
SPEAKER 06 :
I don’t know. It’s just, you know who I, but she probably wouldn’t take it, or I don’t know, is if you go watch some of Harriet Hageman, and she’s a real sharp lawyer, watch some of her questioning when she’s in Congress, and she’s vicious, and she would be, I think, a good attorney general. Andy said Comer. Oh, James Comer? Yeah. Yeah, he’d be good. That’s what Andy said. He’d be good. So just one other question. Yes. What do you think of Radcliffe as CIA?

I don’t think that’s a bad choice.
SPEAKER 06 :
Oh, I think that’s a good choice. Yeah, I’m fine with that.

I mean, really, John, so far, I really don’t have a problem with any of them other than I’m not a Matt Gaetz fan.

Okay. And, you know, I don’t know. It’s just Matt Gaetz just reminds me too much of a politician. Yep. Absolutely. You know, he’s just kind of, I don’t know. Let’s see what comes out tomorrow with the House Ethics Committee, because he might be hoping that because he resigned they’re not going to release that, but he’s got enough enemies in the House that they might. That’s right. Yeah. You’re right. John, you have a great day.

All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Okay, other news that came out yesterday, which I pretty well figured this would probably be the case, I think, just because of, again, stuff we talked about with Dr. Kelly, victory, conflict of interest, and so on. How does it look in all of that? Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, who will be in charge of DOGE, DOG, DOG, whatever you want to call it, DOGE, Department of Government Efficiency. They both said, I believe this was sent out late last night, they both said they will not take pay. meaning they’re not on government payroll. And I’m guessing there’s a couple of reasons there. One, it kind of is a conflict of interest. You’re in charge of this entity that’s now going to get rid of government waste and make things efficient, so how can you take a salary at the same time? It’s not that you couldn’t because you’re getting paid to do something, but I get where they’re coming from. Number two, neither one of them need it. I mean— Really, I mean, even if you paid Elon, I haven’t done the math on this, Charlie, but even if you paid Elon, I don’t think I’m exaggerating here. If you paid Elon 200 grand a year, which is about what those positions run inside government, if you paid him 200 grand a year, That’d be like you, Charlie, it’s like you and I making 15 or 20 bucks, and I’m not exaggerating. It’s comparison to what his whole net worth is, $200 billion. Making a couple hundred grand is like you and I making 20 bucks or so. It’s that drastic, and I’m not exaggerating. So end of the day, not taking one. I believe there is a conflict of interest, and I believe it’s smart for both of them not to do so. Number two. I don’t think that either one of them could do this and be paid and not divest some of their holdings that they also have out there in regards to their businesses and so on, which, again, neither one of them want to do nor would I want them to do. Third thing about not taking payroll and the other thing that they said is they want to get all this done in two years. They don’t want this to be a forever office. They want to get in there, get things done, get things handled, make the changes necessary, and then basically leave it alone after two years has gone by. In other words, we’ll get this done in two years, and after that, it should be fine. Just keep it intact and make it go forward. So that was good news. I kind of figured they’d do that. Now, what I think is really interesting, and I’m sorry that I have to say this, but There were a lot of people, some of you even listening, where I had some conversations, did some shows on both Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. And I’m not a fan of Elon, as you guys all know. I mean, I think Elon’s done a great thing with X and Twitter. He did a lot to help Donald Trump get elected. I don’t know exactly where he stands on every single thing politically speaking, but I think he’s a lot further right now than he was four years ago. Is he a true blue conservative? Frankly, he might be more conservative than some actual conservatives. Vivek, a lot of people said, you know, both of them, a lot of people said they’re just Trojan horses. They’re just infiltrating the party so that they can end up, you know, turning things over for themselves and the Democrats when it’s all said and done. Yeah, well, how did that pan out? And some of you listening, I got direct text messages and emails from you saying exactly that. I don’t trust Musk. I don’t trust Vivek. Vivek took all this money from Soros, which I disproved on air many times that he did not. And I’ve gone through the litany of things that people have thrown at me as to why you couldn’t trust either one of them. It’s interesting that now they not only helped get Donald Trump elected… they’re now going to serve on jointly the Department of Government Efficiency getting rid of government waste. I mean, how ironic for two people that claimed by a lot of conservatives to be Trojan horses are now going to be on the inside of the beltway eliminating a lot of jobs, positions, and government waste that you all probably are a fan of. Anyway, I was thinking about that on my way home last night, that I’d had many a conversation over the years, even when Vivek was trying to run in the primary end of things and some of the things that Elon has done and people saying they’re nothing but Trojan horses. Elon, he’s not going to do anything with Elon. He’s going to end up just suppressing people and free speech and so on, and he’s only buying it so he can do more of that. I heard it all. Literally, I’ve heard it all. And yet at the end of the day, you were all wrong. I’ll just point that out. You were wrong. They neither one have done that. In fact, they have fought more to get Donald Trump elected and help some of his policies out than a lot of other people have. Now, along the lines of Vivek, because he also did a lot of work with Charlie Kirk, which turning point, Charlie Kirk. who never went to college. He’s like me, just sort of self-taught, I guess you could say. Goes to college campuses and does a lot of things to convince people to vote and then to vote for our side. And he does it in a very non-threatening, very polite way, open forum kind of a dialogue. He sits up on stage. If you’ve never seen any of these, I encourage you, go out to his YouTube channel, go to Turning Point USA, watch some of these things. He is one of the most watched individuals in that space there is, and I’m not exaggerating, on all platforms. Facebook, X. TikTok, YouTube, and so on. And the way he sets these little rallies up, it’s pretty amazing. I mean, the guy is just a wealth of information that he can rattle off off the top of his head like no tomorrow. The guy amazes me, literally. And for being as young as he is, he just rattles things off like no tomorrow. Now, he had… Vivek, with him in a lot of these meetings and town halls, forums, whatever you want to call them, on college campuses that he went to. Vivek did a great job, by the way. And what’s interesting about that is Charlie Kirk is a hardcore Christian. I mean, we’ll give the gospel message to individuals as he’s having this dialogue back and forth. He is a hardcore Christian. Vivek is not. Very well known, he is not. Now, what Vivek will tell you is, you know, I believe that anybody can have the opportunity in America to have whatever faith you want to have, and I’ll respect that. It’s interesting to see them up on the same stage, answering the same questions, and Charlie’s giving the gospel. You’ve got to wonder, how much of that is Vivek absorbing, by the way? That’s kind of a side note that I’ve always been thinking. It’s like, how can you be around it for that long and not have some sort of impact on your own life? Anyways, I’m digressing because that’s a whole other conversation, but you have to wonder that. But Vivek is up there, literally. I mean, talking about the very things that Charlie Kirk is backing up Charlie Kirk on a lot of things, which, by the way, is backing up what Donald Trump wants to do with the country. And it got him elected. There is a great video. If you get a chance to go look at it, there was an interview that Charlie Kirk did on another podcast. And I wish I would have written down the podcast that he was on. But there was a video podcast that Charlie Kirk went on and they were interviewing him. This has just been within the last week as to, you know, what were your marching orders coming out of Donald Trump’s campaign? What were they telling you to do? And the real answer is, and maybe what I should do is take a break and come back with this, because it’s fascinating what the campaign actually told Charlie Kirk to do in regards to winning over voters for Donald Trump. So, you know what? I’ll save that. Let me do it. Let me take a break. I’ll come back. It gives me more time to explain that. I could do it more thoroughly. I wish I would have saved that clip. All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. I was able to actually find the Charlie Kirk podcast that he was on, and I wish I knew what this podcast was. I will, again, do my best to try to figure that out. I just happened to be scrolling and watched this last night. And this is about four minutes or so. I don’t know that I’ll play all of it, but I’ll play portions. I may stop it a little bit in chat, but I’ll let Charlie explain himself first. what he actually did. And then, like I said, it wasn’t just him. It was a lot of people on his team, including the likes of Tulsi Gabbard and Vivek Ramaswamy. So those two went with him on a lot of the things that you’re going to hear him talking about. But I find this fascinating. Maybe you will as well. But let me just play it. Here we go.

OK, I got to stop for a moment because I think this is a mistake that we make even inside of the state of Colorado. And this is something that if I were chair of Colorado, I would stop having candidates do. Now, there’s candidates probably listening to me saying, geez, John, why? Listen closely. to what Charlie says about knocking on someone’s door to get them to vote for you. Listen to what he says, and it’ll tell you why that’s a bad strategy.

Because that takes nine contacts to try to get her. Nine points of contact on average. Conversations, discussions, and they could be 30 minutes on it. Instead… Turning point, go spend your time in very Republican areas where there are non-registered or what we call disengaged voters. People that like Trump, like his worldview. For example, the bro vote, right? And so this is where we spent our time and we harvested – not ballot harvested, but we harvested in a very, very powerful way –

OK, I got to stop for a moment. He’s going to talk about the universities and so on. But what he said just now was, which, by the way, a lot of Republican candidates listening to me pay attention to this. And if you want the direct link to this, email me and I’ll send it to you. Even if you’re thinking of running for office, I think this is really key. Keep in mind, this is what the Trump campaign figured out. It’s what they did, and they just won an election with way over 300 electoral college votes and won the popular vote as well. And this was part of their strategy. So you heard what he said a moment ago. It takes nine visits to convince that non-voter, that non-Republican voter to vote for you, knocking on their door. Nine times. Most candidates are lucky to get to a place once. Nonetheless, nine times. So then what they said was, don’t do that. Go out to these areas where there are Republicans, but they may be disconnected. They’ve decided for whatever reason or another they’re not voting any longer or they don’t want to be a part of the team any longer. Let’s go focus in those areas instead rather than trying to get that maybe woman that will never vote for you to vote for you anyway. So he’s going to talk about now the college campuses.

Arizona State University, for example, we registered thousands of young men to vote in fraternities. And that was way easier than us going to try to win over swing voters. And we did a little bit of that. But generally, the Trump campaign was brilliant because they threw the Republican consultant playbook out. The Republican consultant playbook was spend all your time on the middle, on those like middle 15 pursuant swing voters and go all in. Trump campaign said, why don’t we just make our base bigger? Why don’t we just make the people who love us the most? And so what they looked at was demographics and they realized if we can make the electorate three percent more masculine and do. And by the way, they were so smart to do this. This is Susie. This is Susie and James Blair and La Savita. And they were so smart because they said, wait a second, what is more important than race? whether or not you’re a man or a woman actually dictates your political affiliation far more of a correlation than your race.

Which, by the way, everything I said prior to the election and what was happening to the male vote, talked about it a lot the week before. I should say the weeks leading up to. And then after, once we found out what the actual results were, Andy and I hit on this very heavily last week after the election, talking about the disenfranchised, the pushed away, which in some cases, both parties, male voter. Now, the one thing that he talked about was, you know, don’t waste all your time on that 15% in the middle. Let’s go after the folks that are already on our site. I can’t disagree with that. I still think you need to go after those folks in the middle. Now, when you start talking about a state like Colorado, that strategy, I think, has to be a little bit different because we have over half of our voters that are unaffiliated. Over half. I ran the numbers on that for you guys on Tuesday. Andy and I did, and I gave you the exact numbers. We’re 2 million plus voters in Colorado that are unaffiliated. So you have to have a percentage of them in Colorado or you’re not going to win.
SPEAKER 04 :
Emphasized racial politics and they emphasized more of a masculine machismo approach. And boy, did it work. And not only did it work, you’re running up against a woman. So it’s easier to kind of make that argument. And I don’t mean to monopolize. No, this is really interesting. Keep going. And so what the Trump campaign then did, the Republican consultant playbook that Karl Rove basically authored was everything is about high propensity. There’s two types of voters, high propensity and low propensity voters. A high propensity voter is typically college educated, lives in the suburbs. You know, they watch they watch Chris. They watch CNN. They have an income over one hundred thousand dollars a year. They have two kids and a picket fence and they go to soccer games and they don’t commit crimes. You know, that that type of demo. Right. High propensity voters is where the Republican Party has always been focused. But Trump came in and he said, no, no, no. We’re going to focus on low propensity voters. The welder, the electrician, the carpenter, the police officer, or the person that’s just not registered to vote.
SPEAKER 16 :
In other words, the people everybody’s forgot about. By the way, the people I rub elbows with. I guess I’ll just say it like that. Everybody he just mentioned, those are the people I hang out with. Those are the people that I know. Those are the people that I consult. Those are the business owners that I know. And yeah, you know what? In a lot of ways, we’re forgotten in a lot of ways, even by our own party.

I thought that Donald Trump was going to win, and I wasn’t as confident as anybody else, okay? It was when I started to see the voter registration surge across the country. In the summer before this last summer, new people that were registering to vote were registering at Eclipse 3-1 versus Democrat. In Pennsylvania, for the first time ever, in Pennsylvania, for the first time ever, we had every county in Pennsylvania, we were out registering Democrats for the first time ever. Now, mind you, what Josh Shapiro did as governor of Pennsylvania is he put in a thing called OK, really quick.

This is key because this is where I think the Democrats thought they might have an edge, but it ended up backfiring on them.

So listen to this motor voter, which means you automatically get registered to vote. They thought that was going to help them when you get your license, when you get your driver’s license. It helped Republicans because of lower. Think about who’s not registered to vote. It’s typically lower propensity voters and PBD. Here’s the here’s the here’s the kicker. Where do these people get their information? Lower propensity voters get information on TikTok. They’re not watching CNN. You know why? These folks are darn tired by the time they get home. They’re not turning on cable news. They’re watching NFL football games. They’re the ones that are not going to be able to quote to you, Marbury. It’s also this. Yeah, it’s also the phone. So what Donald Trump’s campaign did is they hacked the 2024 election, not in a way that people would think, where they said, wait a second, everyone has a supercomputer in their right-hand pocket. Why are we worried about what CNN is saying or MSNBC is saying? Why don’t we win the information war? And then finally, the kicker. They said, why don’t we go on the most ambitious, over-the-top, low-propensity voter communication strategy on Theo Vaughn, Joe Rogan, Nelk Boys, Logan Paul, influencer strategies, right? So what they said is there’s this whole reservoir. And the final kicker, my mandate at Turning Point was very simple. Charlie, turn Trump supporters into voters.

There you go. That was the strategy the Trump campaign had. It worked very well. Will it work again in 2028? You know, we’ll see. But they did a very good job here throughout this last campaign in doing just that. Joe, you’re next. Go ahead.

Again, I watched that last night, and it’ll be, again, interesting to see how does that work. Does that trickle down into some of the other state politics that we have? I will tell you that this is, again, one of the complaints that I have on our own state. is do we do these things well enough? And I’ll be flat out honest. No, we don’t. We don’t. Are we helping? I’ve got an article I want to talk about when I come back along these lines. Are we helping our candidates? Yes. Enough with these sorts of things. Strategy. How should you look at things? Have you thought about doing this? Are you doing that? Does our state party do those things with candidates? Folks, I guess I’ll play ignorant and I don’t know, but I highly doubt it. I highly doubt it. We have a state party that’s too busy working against our candidates rather than sitting down helping them succeed in their campaign. We’d rather work against them than work for them. And by the way, I just got to say this. Having luncheons and inviting all the cronies in that come to every one of these events is not going to get your candidate elected. It might help you raise a little bit of money. But frankly, if you have a good product, they’ll give money with a phone call. You don’t need to have a luncheon that you’re paying for that’s costing you money to To bring money in, you can do that other ways. Trust me, folks, I’m a business owner. I understand that better than anyone. You don’t have to buy someone’s donation. If you do it correctly, you can get them to donate to anything if they believe in the cause. Something our party here in Colorado doesn’t seem to understand. You don’t need to do all of those fancy things. to garner support. In fact, you talk about the support that Charlie Kirk just talked about with that low propensity voter. Those folks have money, too. They have the ability to donate. Now, they may not be able to donate, you know, 5,000, but can they donate 500 or 50? And you get 100 of those to donate 50, well, now you’re up to your 5,000 again. So my point is, we tend to, as always… We tend to only focus on those that we feel are going to be big donors and forget about the little guy. Donald Trump didn’t do that. Okay, I talked about Charlie Kirk and the strategy that the Trump campaign had in regards to this last election, the winning of, how they did it, and so on. I also compared that to some of what happens inside of certain states, ours being one of those, Colorado. And it’s interesting that Because there was an article that was out this week. Uncle Benny, who is a politician here in Colorado, I interviewed Uncle Benny actually the same day that I interviewed Gabe Evans and a lot of the other folks that were up at the Phoenix Weaponry Open House that we did back in April. I was there on a Saturday. We did Fix-It Radio and Drive Radio from there. And I got to talk to Uncle Benny, who ran for Larimer County District 3. So he has a proposal, and his real name is Ben Asty. But he has a proposal to where he wants to take campaign funding and essentially push that down to future elections. In other words, people that would donate $5, $10, $15 or whatever, and if some of that money isn’t used up, you save that money and push it down into a future monies account. Now, and by the way, Uncle Benny, if you’re listening, I don’t disagree with that, but I want to counter that with something. Isn’t that what our state party is supposed to be doing to help you anyways? Charlie, am I missing something there? I mean, I thought that’s what our state party was supposed to be there for. Now, I understand the state party can direct where they want monies to go, but to me, this would be where you have a relationship with the state party in some of these more obscure races where there’s not a lot of money raised, but they still need some help. Okay, sit down with your party chair and devise a way to where these things can be done, and why does a future elections money account need to even exist if your state party’s doing what they’re supposed to? And you can tell, folks, I’m being very kind in this because I’m not against Benny. I think, Ben, you’ve got a great idea. But my comeback is this is what I’m always harping on when it comes to our current party here in Colorado right now. This is what they should be doing. And, yes, before anybody gets after me saying, well, previous ones didn’t do it either, I get that. So at what point do you break the cycle? I don’t care what previous administrations did here in Colorado with the GOP. Doesn’t matter to me. If you want to change it, change it. But quit blaming the past ones. I’m blaming the ones that are there now because they’re current. I can’t blame the past ones. They’re not there now. Blaming Dick Wadhams for stuff that he hasn’t really been directly involved in for 20 years doesn’t help us today. Rhino Watch, by the way, speaking to you directly. You guys always are willing to pick on past things, but won’t look at the log in your own eye. It just cracks me up. We’ve got candidates that lost. They’re now running around saying we’ve got a way to maybe fix this in the future to where we might win a few more seats in Colorado. They’re coming up with the idea. That’s not saying that they shouldn’t have ideas. They should. But where’s our state party in this? What are they doing? So for those of you that are all in for the state party, I’m asking you the same thing. Where are they? Why aren’t they helping with some of these things? And if I’m completely wrong and I’ve missed something, please tell me. I’ll publicly announce what that is and what the plan is and what they’re doing, but I don’t see that they’re doing anything other than disrupting. And picking winners and losers. And running in their own races. And trying to ruin primaries. We went over that with Andy on Tuesday. If they would have had their way, we wouldn’t have won any of the four. Well, we might have won one of those. But we would definitely have lost three of the four congressional seats that we won in Colorado. We would have lost those. If they would have had their way. So, again, I throw out to you guys that are hardcore on the far right. you know, in the inside of the party, what are you guys doing? I just proved to you, by the way, with the interview that Charlie Kirk was being interviewed on the podcast he was on, that door knocking doesn’t help. So I’m begging and asking, what’s the answer to win over some of those either fringe voters that are out of the party for whatever reason, that in some cases you may have ran off? How do we bring some of those people back in so we can start regaining some of what’s going on in Colorado? Because right now we’re going backwards, not forwards. And before a lot of you out there will tell me that, oh, no, no, we’re doing way better. We’ve we’ve registered and we’ve got more you know, we’ve got more Republican voters registered than there are Democrats. You’re smoking dope. You’ve been down to the pot store too much if you think that. You’re incorrect. You’re flat out wrong. You’re lying to yourself if you believe that, by the way. You’re delusional. You have as much of a mental ill problem as the left does if you believe that stuff, because it’s not true. So please wake up, look at the real data, figure out what’s going on, stop promoting things that are false, claiming that you’re winning, because you’re not. Plain and simple. You’re not. The numbers and the data prove we’re not winning. So I hope a lot of you that are listening can look at what I just played, what happened a week ago past Tuesday with Trump winning big. Look at what’s happening inside of our state and the fact that we didn’t pick up any seats in the state. We didn’t lose any, luckily. But the Democrats are on the cusp of a supermajority in Colorado. And what is our state party doing about that? What is our plan of attack moving forward? And as you all go into your assembly next spring, or whatever it is, February, February, March, whatever the date is, as you go into that, please think about what I’m saying right now. Remember this and think about it. I mean, I’ll talk about it more as we get closer to that, but please think about that as you elect your next chair. And elect somebody with a real plan. What is the plan to fix what’s going on in Colorado when it comes to the conservative movement? What are we going to do? And don’t just tell me that, oh, we’re all grassroots, we’re headed in the right direction. That’s not an answer. Telling me you’re grassroots doesn’t tell me anything, other than in some cases you might be delusional. And I’m sorry, I don’t really want to call grassroots Republicans delusional, but some of you are. I see your posts online. I see the things that you’re after. I see the things that you claim. You’re lying to yourself. You’re believing a lie. And anytime you believe a lie enough that you start repeating it, you’re delusional. That’s plain and simple. That’s like psychology 101. So, please, take a self-check. Figure out exactly where you’re at and what you’re doing and what’s your party doing. to move the ball forward because I don’t see that happening. I’ll be right back.
