If you’ve never been to a government auction. You really don’t have any concept of what government waste is. I’m here to tell you. If you ever have the ability to go to a government auction, you will have a whole new understanding of what actual government waste really is. Because, Andy, the things that you’ll see at auction, you just think to yourself, first of all, why did we buy that? And then second of all, why did we buy a pallet of that?

I’m not joking. Oh, you will go through, because again, the way the budget, we talked about this during the week, of course, but the way the budgetary system works is, you know, it’s all done off of, if I don’t use all of my budget this year, I don’t get it back next year. So at the end of the budget year, that cycle, they will buy crap they don’t need. Oh, you know, I bought a bunch of stuff out, you know, from the Rocky Flats, you know, when we shut that down and they sold off a lot of the stuff out there. This was back in the early 2000s. I’d go out there. They had an auction every Thursday and Friday. And I’d go out there and just sit and just see what they had for sale. I mean, everything from… Even stuff that was brand new in the package, things like extension cords and paper for the copy machine, copy machines themselves, storage tanks. I bought 40-foot containers that I still now use. I mean, you name it, just stuff that they would buy. that you’d look at and say, this thing, I bought a, I still own to this day, they call it, the brand name was a Minuteman back then, but it’s a super expensive shop vac. It’s like, I’m not joking, this is like a $1,500 shop vac. that I picked up back in the day for pennies on the dollar, $50, $100, whatever. It was on a pallet with a bunch of other stuff. This thing was still in the box, brand new, never been opened, with all the attachments, and I didn’t pay but $50 for the entire pallet. That’s the crap you’ll see at government auctions. Where you’re like, okay, we, as taxpayers, paid full price for that thing. Granted, there’s a discount, but we paid probably over $1,000 for that thing as a taxpayer, and I bought it for $50. Cool. And that’s the stuff you’ll see at government auctions. And this is the stuff that Musk and Vivek will be going through, where literally this stuff, Andy, I’m not exaggerating, there will be a plethora of that stuff coast-to-coast.

Just absolute total government waste at its best, at its core. So it’ll be interesting to see how this goes.

Now, I wish I had bought them because they were cheap. So even on a Christmas where your house, you know, there’s no snow, you could have made your own. You’d always have a white Christmas. You’d always have a white Christmas if I’d have bought one of those. In fact, I messed up. I should have, but I’m just thinking at that time. In fact, you could have a white Fourth of July. At that time, I’m thinking, what am I going to do with these goofy things? But they were so, I mean, and some of that stuff, because nobody has any use for it, It just goes for literally pennies on the dollar. And it’s a waste of taxpayer money when it’s all said. Because you and I and everybody else listening has paid for that stuff. Of course. So anyways, I digress, but I’ll talk more about that probably this next week because I’ve got another example. But they really felt like in this case… because of all of the wokeness and everything that happened up to the election, they really thought they had this thing in the bag. I mean, we played clips from folks earlier in the day that talked about going to the liquor store and you’re wrong and she’s going to win and it’s going to be Madam President and so on. I mean, Andy, these people thought all of that.

They believed in it. You know, what’s really interesting in the aftermath is this, the way the right and the left take it. And what I mean is the people on the right, Obviously, you’ve got Trump’s, the Trump-onlys. They would get upset. If he loses, they would get upset for Trump. You did this to our Trump, okay? But everybody else on the right would be really upset about what happened to America. People on the left were upset about what you did to their demographic, to women, to people of color. Absolutely. None of them were saying, oh, look what happened to all of America. They didn’t care at all. Absolutely. None of them did. In fact, they attacked America as racist, as misogynistic. They didn’t care at all.
