WWII P-51 fighter pilot Dick Gibbs flew 43 combat missions during WWII. We are re-broadcasting an interview with Gibbs. He shares the stories of shooting down four German aircraft. He also explains that of all the medals and awards he received, he was most pleased to receive the Distinguished Flying Cross. Gibbs discusses his experiences during the Korean War of training WWII Japanese pilots for Project Cherry Blossom and strategies during the Cold War.
