In this insightful episode, Kim Munson challenges the narratives surrounding today’s political climate, questioning the forces at play behind scenes of protest and advocacy. With the help of former State Senator Kevin Lundberg, Kim examines the ramifications of these movements, emphasizing the importance of maintaining individual freedoms against the backdrop of governmental overreach. Discover the nuanced debates on freedom, equality, and economic policies central to understanding current events.
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s the Kim Munson Show, analyzing the most important stories.
SPEAKER 04 :
That seems to me like government is establishing a religion.
SPEAKER 13 :
The latest in politics and world affairs.
SPEAKER 04 :
If you give people rights, women’s rights, gay rights, whatever, there can’t be equal rights if there are special rights.
SPEAKER 13 :
Today’s current opinions and ideas.
SPEAKER 04 :
Surveys show that people still really prefer freedom over government force.
SPEAKER 13 :
Is it freedom or is it force? Let’s have a conversation.
SPEAKER 04 :
indeed let’s have a conversation and welcome to the kim munson show thank you so much for joining us you’re each treasured you’re valued you have purpose today strive for excellence take care of your heart your soul your mind and your body my friends we were made for this moment in history thank you to the team that’s producer joe luke rachel zach echo charlie mike theresa amanda and all the people here at crawford broadcasting happy tuesday producer joe happy tuesday kim And another great show planned for you today, and we’ve got a lot going on. That way you’ll get first look at our upcoming guests as well as our most recent essays. You can email me at Kim at Kim Munson dot com. The text line is 720-605-0647. And I want to say thank you to all of you who support us. We are an independent voice. We search for truth and clarity by looking at these issues through this lens of freedom versus force, force versus freedom. If something’s a good idea, you should not have to force people to do it. And it’s not compassionate nor altruistic to take other people’s stuff, whether or not it’s their rights, their property, freedom, livelihood, opportunity, childhoods, or lives. And force can be a weapon, but policy, unpredictable and excessive taxation, fear, coercion, government-induced inflation, the agenda of the World Economic Forum, and the globalist elites, which would have everyday people live in little apartment boxes, live within 15 minutes of they couldn’t get out of that 15-minute boundary, and ride around on trains and buses and bicycles and walk around. And if people choose that, that’s one thing. If it’s forced, it’s quite another thing. And we see this play out then through the United Nations, this Colorado State Legislature, local county state governments using land use codes, zoning regulations, forced fees. All those kinds of things are things that take away our freedom. The show comes to you 6 to 8 a.m. Monday through Friday, and the first hour is rebroadcast 1 to 2 in the afternoon, second hour 10 to 11 at night, and that is on all KLZ 560 platforms, KLZ 560 AM, KLZ 100.7 FM, the KLZ website, and the KLZ app. And so you can check us out at all those different places. I want to say thank you to the Harris family for their goal sponsorship of the show, and It is because of all of your support, all of our sponsors, that we keep this independent voice out there looking at all of these important issues. Our word of the day, and this is thank you to… And Dave is, oh my gosh, I had it in my brain and I didn’t put it on the outline. So hang with me. It is patronage. And thank you to Dave. And it is the definition on this. is the support or encouragement of a patron as for an institution or cause. Number two, support or encouragement proffered in a condescending manner. And their example from American Heritage Dictionary is our little establishment has finally been deemed worthy of the bank’s patronage. And then lastly, the trade given to a commercial establishment by its consumers. And their sentence there is shopkeepers thanked Christmas shoppers for their patronage. And it is spelled P-A-T-R-O-N-A-G-E. Thank you to Dave for that word of the day. And Dave Evans is one of our Colorado Union of Taxpayers board members. We met last night. We are working on our ratings report, which will come out tomorrow. It’ll probably be at least a month, as much work as we put into it. But this is an all-volunteer group. And when you see them, say thank you to Steve Dorman, Greg Golianski, Russ Haas, Bill Hamill, Rob Knuth, John Nelson, Wendy Warner. Marty Nielsen, Rami Johnson, Mary Jansen, Dave Evans, Corey Onizorg, Paula Beard, and Ray Beard. This all-volunteer group, I really feel when I’m sitting around the table with all of them that I’m sitting around the table with some of our founders, people that volunteered because they care about freedom, liberty, human flourishing. And between, I would say, Colorado Union of Taxpayers and and then Sue Moore and her group over at Liberty Scorecard. Those two things are really great tools to have in your toolbox as you’re watching what’s going on in Colorado. And then also I would add in, and we’ll talk with him in just a few moments, Kevin Lundberg and his Lundberg report. Those three things will keep you very informed on what is happening in Colorado. And so thank you to the group there. Our quote of the day, I went to Alexander Shultzenitsyn, and he was born in 1918, he died in 2008. And he was a Soviet and Russian author and dissident who helped to raise global awareness of political repression in the Soviet Union, especially the Gulag prison system. He was awarded the 1970 Nobel Prize in Literature for the ethical force with which he has pursued the indispensable traditions of Russian literature. And his nonfiction work, The Gulag Archipelago, it was practiced that last night with Zach, Archipelago, amounted to a head-on challenge to the Soviet state and sold tens of millions of copies. And he said this. He said, outweighs the world. And again, that was Alexander Schultz and Knudsen. Probably one of the big headlines out there is what is happening in Los Angeles. And this is interesting, the different takes that we see, once again, because of the different reporters out there. Is this just… Protesters getting together because they want to protest Donald Trump, want to protest people that are being deported here from America that are being deported that are here illegally? Or is this somewhat of what’s called a color revolution? And we were talking about it last night at… the CUP board meeting, what is a color revolution? And it says that, this is from Wikipedia, and it says that a color revolution is a series of often nonviolent protests and accompanying or attempted or successful changes of government and society that And this took place in many of the post-Soviet states, such as Georgia, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan, and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It says the aim of the color revolutions at that time was to establish Western-style democracies, and they were primarily triggered by election results widely viewed as falsified. It says the color revolutions were marked by the use of the Internet as a method of communication. What I’m concerned here… is that we may have a situation of a revolution to, in this case, to overturn Western values. And I’m concerned by the Trump administration in over, if there’s overreaction to this, this is going to play into a very organized effort to, on these protesters. And take a look at its no kings.org. Very well organized. And it says in America, we don’t do kings. He says they’ve and this is their their byline, they’ve defied our courts, deported Americans. Disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. And then it says the corruption has gone too far. No thrones, no crowns, no kings. The implication is that I would say that Donald Trump is acting like a king. And so they are going to have events happening. This weekend, which is on June 14th, that is Flag Day. That is also Donald Trump’s birthday. And if you go to knowkings.org, you can see how well organized they are. And they are having protests all over the country. And hopefully they will be nonviolent protests. I believe in that. However, I think that there will be situations where they will try to escalate this situation. And, in fact, I’ve got to see if I’ve got to get somebody on here at the end of the second hour to talk about this because I think that this is the opposite. This is not trying to establish Western democracies. I think that these protests will be trying to take America and the American idea really and attack upon that. So stay tuned on all of this. We’re going to talk with Kevin Lundberg about that. One other thing that I wanted to mention are two things. And one of those is, and I guess we could talk about these other things with Kevin Lundberg, that Colorado Senate Minority Leader Paul Lundeen has resigned from the state Senate to take a position that with an organization that is called, let’s see, I think it’s American Excellence. And I like Paul Lundin personally. It’s the American Excellence Foundation. And his resignation was effective as of Monday. And tried to take a look at who was on the board of the American Excellence Foundation and was not able to find that. But this is a strategy. And as I say, I like Paul Lundin personally, but as far as his scores on cut, which would be standing for the taxpayer or over on Liberty Scorecard, he had many areas of places where he could improve. And so the strategy is this. The Democrats do this all the time as well, is that there will be a resignation and then there will be a vacancy committee that will fill that position. making that particular person an incumbent, which hopefully then, in this case, that Republican incumbent will then be reelected upon the next election. I do wish Paul Lundeen well on all of this, and I really would like to encourage Republicans our representatives to really stand for the taxpayer and for liberty. And we have these important discussions because of our sponsors. And the Roger Mangan State Farm Insurance team knows that life can be challenging. He is a former state senator, and I want to get his take on what is happening in L.A. and this whole no kings thing. I did have a… On the text line, which is 720-605-0647, it says, My apologies, Kim, but please call these clans what they truly are. They are rioters, not protesters. Also want you to know I really enjoy your shows. Thank you. Okay, Kevin Lumberg, welcome.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, thank you, Kim. There’s never a dull moment when we look at these issues.
SPEAKER 04 :
We look back at the summer of love of 2020 where peaceful protesters, I have that in air quotes, rioters, destroyed businesses, destroyed many of our cities. And the one thing about it was is they were unbiased. No matter whether or not you were black, white, white. No matter your race, no matter your gender, whatever it was, they destroyed all the businesses. So I would say I guess they’re pretty fair about that. But I’m really concerned that this that I think I’m concerned that this is a provocation to get to get a result that is very dangerous. What’s your thoughts?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, it reminds me of what occurred in 2020. Let’s see. Yeah, yeah, 2020, during the COVID thing down at the state capitol here in Colorado, where rioters were allowed, or insurgents, I don’t know what you want to call them, were allowed to camp out right outside the capitol building and across Lincoln Street. And then they tore the outside of the building apart. They weren’t able to get in. I mean, they tried dramatically. But the reason I bring that up as an example is I got to see that a little more up close and personal. Of course, I had was no longer in the legislature, but I’ve been active all along. And I remember being down there one day and I thought, I need to make a visual record of what has occurred. So I went around the building taking pictures of all of the destruction that had occurred. And I’ve got 40 or 50 shots that I think I’ve still got them up on my website somewhere, if I recall. And As I went around to one side, I was taking a picture of the window to the governor’s office, and this guy comes up to me, and he acted like he was one of the organizers of this. And he said, what are you doing? Kind of like he was in charge and I was not. And I said, well, I’m documenting all of this destruction that’s occurred here. And he said, you’re right. And he took credit for it. And he said, if they don’t do what we tell them to, we’re going to burn the place down.
SPEAKER 11 :
Wow.
SPEAKER 06 :
And I don’t think he was kidding. And here’s the point, that this is an organized agenda to destroy our culture, to destroy the infrastructure, in this case to literally destroy the state capitol building for Colorado. And the governor and the mayor stood by and watched. They said, well, let them blow off a little steam. Of course, this was the middle of COVID where they were locking everybody else down and telling them, you’ve got to stay six feet apart and you can’t do this and you can’t do that and you can’t meet. But when it came to this rampant destruction, they just let it happen. And I’m not going to accuse them of being a part of the conspiracy to burn it all down, but they are certainly complicit in the actions, because what needs to happen is what law enforcement is supposed to do every day they go to work, and that is you keep the peace. And if you see some You know, if you’re brought into a situation where somebody is breaking the law, you break it up. You get, you know, you put them in jail. And that’s why we have these laws. But they’ve been ignored when it gets to this big, you know, it’s like they’re cowards. either that or they’re a part of the problem. You know, they’re simply trying to tear the place down. But these aren’t little random occasional actions from, you know, kids that just got out of school. No, no, there’s too much organizational effort behind it. And right now it’s the efforts of ICE, to get rid of the truly bad guys who came here illegally and are criminals. I mean, what ICE is doing right now is they’re individually determining where are these people and going and trying to find them. And if they find somebody else who is here illegally, they deal with that as it’s ICE’s job to do, which is you detain them and you deport them. But what we’re seeing… is a bigger picture than just that. That’s just the latest event because, you know, there was the something Wall Street. What was that?
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, I remember now. Yeah. It was Occupy Wall Street.
SPEAKER 06 :
Occupy Wall Street. Yes. Thank you. And then when it came to the COVID year, Then it took on a new face, but it was sort of the same thing. It was the anarchists, and there are plenty of people who have probably been taught in their universities that this country is bad and anything else has got to be better, so they kind of pile on and become the unwitting pawns of people who really do have an agenda to tear it down. And it wouldn’t surprise me at all if you discover that our international enemies are behind this. You know, the people who chant in Iran and the people who push them on to say, you know, America is the great Satan. And then, of course, the Chinese Communist Party, they’re their goal is to dominate and they want to take out the superpower and that’s us. And, and of course there’s a real conflict in, in, in worldviews here too, because we are talking about cultures that, that are set on domination. And in the case of the communist China party, they’re, their whole foundation is is an atheistic perspective on life that you know it’s the law of the jungle and and they’re they’re trying to be the top lion you know and and this country was founded on very different principles but but right now we’re being threatened in many ways and and in my mind what needs to happen let me just kind of wrap this up to say that that the leaders of this nation need to step up and say, we’ve got a problem that needs to be fixed now. And I’m very grateful that the president and the people he’s put in charge have that very attitude. And, you know, the leaders in our state and in our nation and in other states that don’t share that sound voice view, and dare I say it, a biblical view of what life is all about and how nations and how governments are to conduct themselves, you know, those who are contrary to that need to be told that in this country, We have the rule of law. We have a set of laws that are as fair and square as we can contrive them to be. And we’re going to enforce those. And if you intentionally break the law, if you do it in mass, that doesn’t make it right. That makes it more wrong. And you need to be stopped and stopped now.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. I want to continue this discussion with Kevin Lundberg about what is happening in our country right now. I would say that this is a color revolution has been defined as setting up Western democracies. I would say then that this is an an anti-color revolution where i believe that it is trying to undermine america there are those that i think are being played in in this whole thing this whole no kings.org we’ll continue to talk about that here in just a moment we have these discussions because of our sponsors and if you’re buying or selling your home you certainly want to have karen levine on your side of the table

And Hooters Restaurants is one of our sponsors of both the Kim Munson Show and America’s Veterans Stories. How I Got to Know Them, very important story about freedom and free markets and capitalism and those pesky PBIs, those politicians, bureaucrats, and interested parties who are trying to control our lives, our communities. And so it’s a really important story. But again, they have five locations, Loveland, Aurora, Lone Tree, Westminster, and Colorado Springs. So be sure and check them out. And also the Center for American Values is located in Pueblo, Colorado, on the beautiful Riverwalk. They’re nonpartisan. They’re nonpolitical. They’re focusing on these foundational principles of honor, integrity, and patriotism, which are foundations of our country. And so check out their website. That is AmericanValuesCenter.org. I have on the line with me Kevin Lundberg, and he is a former state senator, author of the Lundberg Report, which you can find at KevinLundberg.com. And Kevin, I just wanted to run through this thing on this KnowKings.org, because if… What I think – this is very well organized, and it’s hiding these issues where people that may be only watching CNN or MSNBC have this hatred of Donald Trump. That it’s going to play into, they think that in their minds that they would be doing something good to show up at these protests. And I think that some of these protests will devolve into riots and word on the streets that’s going to happen in some of these cities. But I wanted to go through the things that they have. So you grew up in the 60s, and you thought government was overreaching, yet how – I can’t understand how – those progressives thought everything was okay during the old biden harris administration to to do all the things that they did but anyway you’re there you’re watching cnn msnbc and you see they’ve defied our courts so you first of all we take a look at all this lawfare against donald trump we’ve seen law i’ve seen lawfare personally with some good friends of mine And so we see lawfare, but they’re saying to fight our courts. Then deported Americans. Well, I’m not sure that I know of any Americans that have been deported, but I know that guy that’s a criminal, El Salvador, where the Democrat senators are going down to visit him. So you’ve got this fomenting in your mind. Disappeared people off the streets. Well, this is one of the news stories that they’re saying. Attacked our civil rights and then slashed our services. So, for example, Medicaid, which Doge was looking for, waste, fraud and abuse. And so they want to play into all that. And I’m just concerned that people… that might be your cnn msnbc watchers are going to get dragged into this agenda that’s being pushed that i think wants to take it down america is what i think i know that’s big you know big comments there what do you think well uh first off i i agree with you um
SPEAKER 06 :
that it’s very easy for people to get pulled into this. They’re in their own little news bubble, you might say. I try to cover all the bases in my searching for the facts and the issues that really need to come out in the things I do, like my newsletter and this conversation here, the Monday morning Zoom call that I conduct. And something happened on the call last night or yesterday on my Zoom call that I think is very important. We were obviously discussing the same subjects here. And one lady that is a regular listener to your program as well and has a military and a police background said, don’t get sucked into this. Don’t even go down to observe these things, because that just ramps up everything. And this is really dangerous stuff. This stuff can blow up into a real riot where people are killed very easily. And that’s what a lot of the fomentors of this, I’m certain, are doing. One thing, they want to, as I said before, burn it all down because they think they’ve got a better idea, and that’s them being the top lion in the world. Don’t comply in any way whatsoever. Look at what a civil society is all about, and that’s understanding right and wrong, establishing a framework, a set of laws in this country. We start with what’s called the United States Constitution and then following those to the best of your ability and encouraging that normalcy that we should seek to live a peaceable life. and to do good to one another. But this is the exact opposite of that, and it’s really dangerous stuff that you can get sucked into because there are group dynamics that can occur. You get down in a big crowd like that, and if things start to unglue like they are in L.A., and we see… You know, it’s not just one isolated incident. Every day there are multiple pictures of people throwing rocks at cars and, you know, particularly ICE vehicles on freeways and burning other cars. And, you know, we need to back off. My daughter called me yesterday and she said, you know, they’re planning one of these, quote, protests in Berthoud. You know, that’s the town I live nearby. And and she said, yeah, and in Longmont and Port Collins and Greeley and Loveland. And, you know, it’s it’s it’s like there’s a real organized effort. And I know that this is no King’s group. has really popped up. I see that just going through my email during the break, I ran across one where Westward magazine is encouraging people to join the protests in Denver, what they call the No Kings Rally. These are anarchists who are promoting this being egged on by big international leaders who want to burn this country to the ground. And they think maybe they’ve got the opportunity. I don’t think so, frankly. I believe that the vast majority of the people in Colorado and the people across this nation have had it with all of this stuff. And I think the opposition is going to burn themselves out over it. But you could get You know, you could become a part of the problem if you’re not careful on this stuff.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, we do need to be really careful, and I am looking at this. So two things, but I’m looking at this nokings.org, and it’s difficult to find names on it, but I just found one, and this should give you – so first of all, one of them is they go after President Trump, but the next thing – Join AFT President Randy Weingarten for a special town hall on June 10th at 6 p.m. to prepare for No King’s Day on June 14th. Together, we’ll get ready to organize, mobilize, and build power for the future. There you have it. This woman, who was the head of the American Federation of Teachers, the Teachers Union, you’ve got personal experience in how they’ve been going after our children. through this whole trans activist agenda. So connect that dot. We need to connect that dot.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, yeah. And, you know, this is supposed to be a leader of the teachers in our country. Well, the agenda is pretty clear here. And here’s an irony of all this as well, is these people who are saying no kings are actually playing right into politics. into the tyrant’s hands who think they are king. And our nation that is really set up on the principle of individual liberty and individual responsibility and free market economic systems, I say based on the principle because we’ve been compromised to so much by those who, you know, they call us fascists. Well, they have no idea what fascism is. Fascism is the government control of everything. You know, if the government goes ahead and says, well, we own it as well, now you call it socialism. But they’re very, very similar. It’s a dictator from the top who’s telling everybody what you’re going to do, when you’re going to do it, and how you’re going to do it. That’s what they’ve got in China. That’s what they have in far too many other dysfunctional countries in this world. But our nation was founded on that principle of liberty. And these folks who are pushing this are the exact opposite of what they claim to be. You know, I ran across another. What was this deal where there’s a conference being held somewhere here in Colorado about the those who are pushing for a single payer health care system. And they’ve put together this conference, and it has a poster. Let me just read to you some of the details on the poster, because they’re trying to say that we, the people, need to get involved. And they say, people-powered action for single-payer health care. Stand up to corporate greed. Health care… a human right, people over profits. I’m just reading off this poster they have, which looks like it came out of an old-time Soviet propaganda piece, and demonstrate with us health care for everyone, stand up to corporate greed. I’m just reading through the thing. Oh, yeah, and here’s a little… This is a telling one. So there’s a little graphic within here where it’s got that red circle with a line to it that says no, you know, means no. And then it’s got across it the word kings. No kings. So they’re doing the same thing. But what they’re begging for is the government to be in charge of all of the medical systems.
SPEAKER 04 :
And so and the other thing you said, standing up to corporate greed. And as I’ve talked with our young producers, Joe and Luke said, what can be greedier than government taking 10, 20, 30 percent of your paycheck and they can do it by force? What is greedier than that? And so it’s important that we understand that, I think, Kevin Lundberg.
SPEAKER 06 :
Absolutely. Yeah, yeah. You know, I know we’ve got to go to a break pretty quick here, but maybe we can wrap this up on a topic that I think we’re going to cover a little bit, and that is I had some comments about the big, beautiful bill cutting back on Medicaid. And that’s because Trump’s trying to break this cycle, this maddening cycle that the government’s got to step in and take care of everybody and everything. And isn’t it ironic that these folks who are saying no kings for us are actually begging to become the serfs of the system?
SPEAKER 04 :

You can email me at Kim at KimMunson.com as well. Thank you to all of you who support us. We’re an independent voice searching for truth and clarity by looking at these issues through the lens of freedom versus force, force versus freedom. If something’s a good idea, you should not have to force people to do it. Do check out the website for the USMC Memorial Foundation. It is a nonprofit I dearly love. The memorial is located right here in Colorado in Golden. And it’s time for a facelift. And Paula Sarles and her team’s working diligently to make that happen. And you can help them by going to usmcmemorialfoundation.org. Talking with Kevin Lundberg, former state senator, author of the Lundberg Report. And, yes, let’s talk a little bit about Medicaid. Because on this thing, on nokings.org, one of the implications, it says, is slashing services. And one of the things that has happened with Doge is they found waste, fraud and abuse in the Medicaid area. And they said, we’ve got to get rid of that. And, oh, my gosh, we’ve got people now saying, no, no, no, we want to keep that waste, fraud and abuse. But they’re saying it under the guise of that Trump wants to cut services. So what’s your thoughts on this, Kevin Lumberg?
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, that’s why I highlighted that in my current newsletter. I was confused. Looking at all this stuff and all the stories I’ve heard about the Medicaid funding, which the bill in Congress is designed to tighten the screws on that and to back away from such a wholesale providing of Medicaid. Here in Colorado, it’s somewhere between 30 and 40 percent of the population of everybody in the state is on Medicaid. And yeah, should that be cut back? Yes, it should. But not, you know, and there will be personal stories of somebody who says, well, you know, this is a real dilemma for me. Well, yeah, but the problem is when the government starts to kick in and when you have this, you know, the biggest payer of medical bills is the government. And that’s a third-party payer. And you’ve got to go back to the fundamentals of the economics here. If you’ve got a third-party payer, in other words, they’re not giving the services, they’re not receiving the services, they’re just paying for it. Well, the other parties, the providers and the patients think, well, I guess it’s free money. We’ll just go ahead and, you know, spend whatever we can, whatever the government’s dumb enough to give us, we’ll be smart enough to take. Well, this has developed a system where the pricing within medical services is completely out of control. I understand and I’ve heard on many occasions that if you go to the hospital and they then send you a bill and you pay it, you probably paid 10 times what they expected to get out of it. 10 times. And how many times have you seen if you’ve got medical insurance covering some drugs that the bill will maybe be 20 times what actually your insurance company reimburses. Well, you know, the pharmacies, the pharmaceutical folks in the insurance companies, they’ve drilled down to what the real costs are. And this is just nonsense and nuts. Today, the average citizen cannot afford to get sick if they’re paying for anything. And this is not crisis and now the government has to rush in and pay for more of it. No, it’s because the government has provided so much of this third-party paying system that these prices have gone completely ballistic and unrealistic. I applaud Trump and the leaders in Congress that are doing their level best to pull back on this. I mean, and they’re just barely touching the brakes right now. But one of the effects is that the hundreds of thousands or maybe a million people in Colorado, literally, who have productivity, you know, productive capacity themselves are on Medicaid. And Medicaid is supposed to be for those who are just at the, you know, at the end of their rope. There’s no other financial support. to handle their medical costs. It was supposed to be that safety net of last resort where just a few people are actually on that role because the rest of us are out there working and paying our bills and buying our medical insurance, et cetera. But it’s blown up, and we’ve got to change gears. And we cannot get sucked into this, oh, you’re slicing services. No, what you’re doing is you’re pulling back to what might be realistic in the future.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and ultimately, I was thinking about it yesterday. I had mentioned that I’d love to start a MAFA movement, Make America Free Again, and checked out and some of those words are used already. But I’m looking at what we need to do i think first and foremost for freedom i think we need to demand that government across the board uh local school districts all the way up to the top that we have a ten percent cut i think we just need to ask for that and with ten percent cut in regulations but uh oh kevin this has been so fascinating we’re just about out of time but hey let me jump in right there if i might because when i was in the
SPEAKER 06 :
On several occasions, I actually tried to do that to the state budget. I had an amendment that would, across the board, cut 10% out of everything. And, of course, it was seen as just being completely unrealistic, that nobody will ever do this. And actually, I was following the pattern that Joe Nunez did when he was in the House many, many years ago, where he came up with that. And then, okay, you don’t like that amendment? Well, how about if we cut 1%? And then I had another amendment that said, how about if we cut one-tenth of one percent? And, of course, everybody laughed as if it was foolish. But, in fact, you’re quite correct that it’s going to take that kind of rolling up our sleeves and really getting the job done. And I do believe that Trump and Musk, when the two of them were talking well, had that in mind. And still have it in mind, and it must happen, because we are on a trajectory of destruction.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yes, we are.
SPEAKER 06 :
And if we just tap the brakes, that just means we get there a little slower. But we’ve got to turn the wheel around 180 degrees, and that’s a huge part of it.
SPEAKER 04 :
It certainly is. Hey, Kevin, one other thing as I’m messing around multitasking when we’re talking, you’ve got me thinking about all kinds of things. On this nokings.org, they have their partners. And you can take a look at it, and it is many of them very left-leaning organizations. So you can see how this is all being very well organized together. to ramp up because they’re trying to make something happen. And to your point, those that want to put total faith in government is making government their king. And that is not how it’s supposed to be in America. So we’ve got 45 seconds for your final thought.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, I couldn’t agree more. But as we go through the next few days, and especially as they’re trying to import all this to not just Denver, but little towns all across the state, don’t take the bait. Don’t think you can go and argue yourself, you know, argue with these organizers. They’re looking for people to show up because they’re trying to ramp this up into a real crisis. And I believe that we, the people of Colorado, can… can put this to bed by not playing into them and insist that our law enforcement… Now, if they’re legitimate protesters putting signs out, I have no problem with that. But I have a big problem with those who are fomenting violence and, as I say, stay far away from them, give them their constitutional right to protest, But when something goes further than that, get out of the way.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and we need to enforce the law. And you’d think that you and I talked about our quote for the end of the show. We didn’t. It’s from Alexander Shultz Nitzan. He said this, violence can only be concealed by a lie, and the lie can only be maintained by violence. So there you have it, Kevin Lundberg. Thank you so much. My friends today, be grateful, read great books, think good thoughts, listen to beautiful music, communicate and listen well, live honestly and authentically, strive for high ideals, and like Superman, stand for truth, justice, and the American way. You are not alone.

SPEAKER 04 :
Under this guise of bipartisanship and nonpartisanship, it’s actually tapping down the truth.
SPEAKER 13 :
Today’s current opinions and ideas.
SPEAKER 04 :
On an equal field in the battle of ideas, mistruths and misconceptions is getting us into a world of hurt.
SPEAKER 13 :
Is it freedom or is it force? Let’s have a conversation.
SPEAKER 04 :
Indeed, let’s have a conversation. And welcome to our number two of the Kim Munson Show. Thank you so much for joining us. You’re each treasured, you’re valued, you have purpose. Today’s drive for excellence, take care of your heart, your soul, your mind, and your body. My friends, we were made for this moment in history. And thank you to the team. That’s Producer Joe, Luke, Rachel, Zach, Echo, Charlie, Mike, Teresa, Amanda, and all the people here at Crawford Broadcasting. Happy Tuesday. It was a robust hour number one, wasn’t it, Producer Joe?
SPEAKER 16 :
Yes, ma’am, it was. A lot of good information, though.
SPEAKER 04 :
And if you missed it, you can catch that today, 1 to 2 in the afternoon, because we’re on 6 to 8 a.m. Monday through Friday. First hour is rebroadcast, 1 to 2 in the afternoon. Second hour, 10 to 11 at night, and that is on all KLZ 560 platforms, KLZ 560 AM, KLZ 100.7 FM. the KLZ website and the KLZ app. And check out my website. That’s Kim Munson, M-O-N-S-O-N.com. You will get a sign up for our weekly email newsletter. That way you’ll get first look at everything that’s going to happen over the next week. You can email me at Kim at Kim Munson.com. And the text line is 720-605-0647. Our word of the day. and thank you to Dave, is patronage. Let me get to it. And it is, this is from American Heritage Dictionary. Could be the support or encouragement of a patron as for an institution or cause. It’s spelled P-A-T-R-O-N-A-G-E. Number two, it could be support or encouragement preferred in condescending manner such as our little establishment has finally been deemed worthy of the bank’s patronage and then lastly to the trade given to a commercial establishment by its customers they have an example of shopkeepers thank Christmas shoppers for their patronage and so your challenge is to use that in a sentence today Our quote of the day comes from Alexander Shultzenitsyn. He was born in 1918 and died in 2008. He was a Soviet and Russian author and dissident. And he helped to raise global awareness of political repression in the Soviet Union. And he said this, the simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie. One word of truth outweighs the world. So one more time, the simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie. One part of truth outweighs the world. And that’s why the discussion with Kevin was so important today, is these protests that are… being planned for this saturday throughout the country and i agree with kevin peaceful protest is inherent in the american idea my concern is that there are those that want to devolve this into violence and ultimately they want to take it down take down The American idea, the sanctity of the individual, the vision of our country that we’re all created in the image of our creator and with these rights from God of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. And those that are fomenting this NoKings.org, and you look at all of the different organizations that are promoting that, are those that are promoting that government, which they control, would be in control of everyone’s lives. That government would be the king. And that is not the way it is supposed to be. And If, in fact, we see these Democrat mayors and governors, primarily of these blue states, step back because this is somewhat orchestrated. Step back and don’t have our police officers come in to keep the peace. And put our police officers, first of all, in great danger. This is not okay. But ultimately to escalate to some kind of violence that can then play out in the news is really wrong. And so with Donald Trump sending in the National Guard, normally a National Guard would be invited in by a governor. Gavin Newsom is not inviting him. that the national guard in meanwhile there is protests that are devolving into cars being burned which is property being destroyed that is not okay that is not a peaceful protest and it could be trying to fan the flames of violence which the quote, it’s amazing how that happened, that I had chosen for the end of the show, I’ll just share that with you, from Alexander Shultzenitsyn, is, violence can only be concealed by a lie, and the lie can only be maintained by violence. And so stay tuned. We’re going to watch what’s happening with all of this, and hopefully people are not injured. But if you’re injured… You certainly want to reach out to John Bozen and Bozen Law. I wanted to talk with him about products and products that may not work properly. John Bozen, welcome to the show.
SPEAKER 07 :
Good morning, Kim. What a segue there.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. Man, there’s a lot going on right now, John Bozen.
SPEAKER 07 :
There is. You and I know it. I think there’s another layer or two beneath what you cover already. Some would call that the ultra conspiracy. But yeah, these things are definitely organized and the professional disruptors, rioters that are being more likely than not paid. It’s just a matter of time before I think all of that comes to see the light of day. But very disappointing what’s happening. And we’re going to see what happens in Colorado here real soon, aren’t we?
SPEAKER 04 :
We are. Is Mike Johnston and Governor Polis going to step back like they did? Well, I guess Johnston, I don’t think he was the mayor in 2020. But are they going to step back and hands off and and again, let businesses be destroyed? As Kevin Lundberg said in our number one, he’d taken pictures. Our capital is. was totally attacked. In fact, Rick Turnquist had written an essay for us about all of the Summer of Love protesters. And on the side of the Capitol, in big letters, was the F word. And so we had used that image, which was out there in the public, for his essay. And Facebook denied it because they said that it was words that could not be used. But yet that was a word that was painted on the side of the Capitol after the Summer of Love.
SPEAKER 07 :
I didn’t know that. But disgusting and We’ll see. I guess this Saturday what happens. I don’t expect Johnston to do anything. He has presidential intentions, and so he’s going to have to handle it very carefully. We’ll see what he does.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, we’ll have to see what happens on that. But I wanted to ask you some of the things, and we haven’t really talked much about this recently, but you can help people regarding product cases, defective products, and pharmaceuticals. So expound on that a little bit, John Bozen.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, well, we haven’t talked about it recently, but my firm works with an organization, an association of other firms, that take on big pharma, that take on manufacturers of products that do us harm. Examples, Ozempic, Wegovia, the GLP-1s that are helping folks with weight loss and new stuff comes out on a regular basis that these products, these drugs are causing problems down the road for folks and some significant problems. I think if people take the time and educate themselves well, they should, they won’t touch these things. Products like Roundup that cause cancer, products like talcum powder in products that cause cancer. So really any product that has a problem, a defect, and the sad part is the manufacturers, the pharmaceuticals, They learn this stuff and then they do their risk benefit analysis, how much money can we make before this becomes something that we have to deal with and then how much more money can we make as we put off doing the right thing and acknowledging that there’s a problem with our product or with the drug. They put money before people and it is something that we as a group of law firms do our damnedest best to tackle. They’re the toughest cases, or they can be, because they will spend huge amounts of money to hide the truth, because when the truth comes out in those cases, that’s what gets them. But we can help folks with those situations. So defective product, a pharmaceutical drug that causes harm, they should give us a call at 303-999- We’ll get a lot more information, see if they meet the criteria to pursue a claim.
SPEAKER 04 :
So, John Bozen, another question, because as we’ve been talking about this narrative out there, and what you’ve alluded to is what would be called corporate greed, putting people over profits or putting profits over people. And ultimately, a business, if they always do that and they harm the people, they need to be held accountable. But I think it needs to happen through the courts because those that then want to make government in charge of everything to keep us safe are Ultimately, government takes more and more control. I’m not sure I’m getting my question to you like I want to.
SPEAKER 07 :
I think I know where you’re going. Yes, at some point, the government needs to be looked at for their responsibility in situations and harm caused by people or caused by their decisions, government’s decisions. We’ve got some tough stuff that we as law firms and lawyers are going to be looking at, have been looking at for some time with regard to the COVID vaccines and government’s part in allowing what happened to people to happen, granting immunity to pharmaceuticals, companies that have histories of lying and doing the wrong thing. There were a lot of mistakes made. And as more and more, again, information becomes more public and acknowledged as the truth about what was going on during that time and when all of that happened, there’s more of a likelihood that we’re going to be looking at the government for their part in allowing what happened to happen.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. Well, John Bozen, again, what’s that number for a complimentary appointment? 303-999-9999.
SPEAKER 07 :
And for any kind of a personal injury situation, Folks need to understand time is of the essence. A call right away is going to be more valuable. They’re going to get the advice hopefully in time to prevent talking with that insurance carrier, making mistakes, signing releases, things of that nature. So whether it’s a motor vehicle accident, a slip and fall, a work-related injury, what have you, encourage folks, co-worker, neighbor, family member, hopefully not, but to call right away that number.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay, and that’s 303-999-9999. John Bozen, thank you so much. We’ll talk again next week.
SPEAKER 07 :

And so welcome, Ann Recker. I’m very excited your book’s been released.
SPEAKER 09 :
Good morning, Kim. I’m excited to be with you. Yes, the book’s out there and it’s on the move.
SPEAKER 04 :
That is exciting. And it’s the title is The Revelation of Emery Audubon. And your website is annrecker.com. That’s A-N-N-R-O-E-C-K-E-R. And I guess my first question is, what is apologetics fiction?
SPEAKER 09 :
Apologetic fiction is a trending genre I’m really excited about. It entertains readers like any good story, but it also seeks to answer readers’ questions about God, Jesus, the Bible, and life. I like to say that apologetic fiction smuggles God’s truth across enemy lines using story as a cover. So it’s a lot of fun. And I like to posture it as if apologetics fiction is brand new. In one way, it is because it’s coming back out in the public square. But Jesus’s parables were short stories that answered questions about God in heaven. Some examples of apologetics fiction that are well-known might be C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters. which answers the question, what are the devil’s everyday schemes we barely notice that mess with our lives? The shack answers the question, where is God when horrible things happen? In my story, the revelation of Emery Audubon answers the question, why hasn’t God put a stop to evil in the world? So I do that in a fun way, and it’s a romp through the book of Revelation as we look at that question.
SPEAKER 04 :
which is amazing. And so this is the book, you’ve geared this towards young adults, yes, but it’s probably really for everyone, yes?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yes, it’s absolutely for everyone. In fact, a lot of people, a surprising group of people are older guys that are reading it, too.
SPEAKER 04 :
And tell us a little bit about Emory Audubon.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, Emery Audubon is—the story is about a student who sparks reformation at her prestigious but corrupt university after reading Revelation. But unlike many young adult stories, Emery Audubon, who’s my main character, she isn’t a loser. She isn’t a victim. In fact, she has everything going for her from the normal point of view. Her father’s a pioneering space scientist. She’s a good student. She’s been accepted at the nation’s top university. And her future’s bright. But what she doesn’t have going for her is the truth. And she doesn’t even know it. She’s been raised in a near-future America that advances some of the societal trends that we’re seeing in our own culture. In Emery’s world, the history books have been rewritten to erase our nation’s Judeo-Christian heritage. The Bible’s been banned, and schools are required by law to teach kids that there is no God. And Emery doesn’t really care about this ideological takeover, and she… She doesn’t think it matters. But then she gets to college, and a fellow student invites her to take an illegal class that meets in a campus basement on the Book of Revelation. And over the course of the story, Emery reads this dazzling last book of the Bible, and she studies Revelation’s key symbols, and this wakes her up to what’s going on around her. And she discovers that there is a God, that what she’s been taught all her life is a lie, and that not only is there a God, he’s the only God, and he reigns and he redeems, and he’s on track to redeem and reform and restore our fallen world. Emery still doesn’t intend to do anything about this as she wakes up to what’s going on in her world. But then she gets in a big tangle with the officials at her university. And at the end of the day, she is in a position where she has to stand up for her new faith. And she has to do it in a big way. And she doesn’t yell or scream, but she does shake things up. And so it’s a question that we have to ask as we read the book. Can we reform the ruin in our society? And in her case, particularly the educational system. And if so, what does that look like? And Emory has to go on that journey to answer tough questions and make some mistakes and confront her university. But she does this through lessons she’s learned from the Book of Revelation.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and there are those that think that Revelation is really just a book about the end times. So what would you say to that?
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, yeah, a lot of us tend to think, okay, Revelation, it’s about the end times, and it’s going to be a mess, and how do we avoid it? And there’s been mega best-selling stories about the end times and when we’ll get raptured and all this stuff. But I feel like these stories have totally missed the biggest point of Revelation. And yes, Revelation gives us a heads up on the end times. But the point of the last book in the Bible isn’t the greatest tribulation in history and trying to avoid it. It’s about God ending evil in the world once and for all. And ending evil isn’t something we can do. God does it for us, and this is mighty good news. Another amazing aspect of Revelation is its symbols. The Revelation of Emery Audubon takes readers on a journey to discover what the key symbols mean in Revelation and how they explain all of history. And when Emery understands these symbols, she has her own revelation, and she understands what steps she needs to take despite the opposition to spark reformation at her corrupt university, even as top officials are out to ruin her life. And so she’s facing deeply entrenched strongholds, lies that have been widely accepted in society, and so Revelation equips her to do that. And so… I’ve begun to look at Revelation in a whole new way. It isn’t about the end times so much as it’s a roadmap for reformation.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, it’s a really interesting book, The Revelation of Emory Audubon by Ann Recker. We’re going to continue the discussion. Before we do that, though, where can people purchase the book?
SPEAKER 09 :
People can purchase the book on my website, www.emoryaudubon.com. and record.com or they can go to amazon.com slash author slash and record and you can just type in and record and Amazon books and you’ll it’ll pop it up.
SPEAKER 04 :

If something’s a good idea, you should not have to force people to do it. And do check out the USMC Memorial Foundation. Their website is USMCMemorialFoundation.org. And it is so important that we remember and honor those that have given their lives, been willing to give their lives for our freedom. And in getting to know Paula Sarles with the USMC Memorial. Foundation. Got to know Don Whipple, who is one of the Iwo Jima World War II veterans that was a member of Cooper’s Troopers, and he recently passed on. A fabulous man, a pastor, ministered to many, many young military and veterans, and he recently passed on. We did, on America’s Veterans Stories this last weekend, replay one of his interviews that we had done because we wanted to honor him. So check out usmcmemorialfoundation.org. That is usmcmemorialfoundation.org. I’m talking with Ann Recker about her book, The Revelation of Emery Audubon. And I’ve seen different reports that young people have walked away from the church, but I’m seeing reports that young people are Coming back to faith, how would you address that, Ann?
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, yes, I’m hearing those same reports, Kim. And about 10 years ago, we were hearing a lot of studies about students getting, leaving home. You know, they were raised in Christian homes, went to youth groups. had a lot of fun, made friends, but then they went off to college or they were in youth groups in college and then graduated, got into careers, and then left their faith. And those studies showed that the reason for that is kids weren’t getting their questions answered about God. And that’s where apologetics comes in. Apologetics answers our questions about God. It defends our faith, both for ourselves and for the public square. But pastors and parents were feeling like if kids were having fun in youth groups and singing songs, that they were getting grounded in their faith, and we were finding that wasn’t true. Apologetics, though, isn’t something every kid takes an interest in. They’re not going to dive into the answers to their faith. And that’s one of the reasons I wrote the Revelation of Emory Audubon. It’s a fun way to answer the reader’s questions about God. And kids that won’t read a tome on apologetics, they will read a good story. But the more recent news is we’re hearing kids coming back to faith, especially young men. But I think one of the things that I feel a word of caution about is we’re hearing about revivals and kids coming back to faith and campuses getting excited about Christianity again. But I came to faith during a revival, during the Jesus revolution. And millions of people came to faith during that time, and church services got livelier, and some things began to be done in a new way. But what didn’t happen is that revival didn’t go on to impact our culture. It didn’t go on to reform our nation, to disciple our nation, as Jesus calls us to do in the book of Matthew. He says… disciples and nations, what that means is to reform our nation, to get involved in every pillar of society. And if we don’t do that, I would posture that the devil does. And we’ve seen that in the steep downgrade in our culture since the 70s and 80s, that Christians weren’t out there speaking up in education and and media, and business, and all aspects of society. And so we’ve seen this horrible things happening in all pillars of society. So as these new revivals and this new return to the Church comes, I think it’s an invitation to, yes, let’s come back to the Church, but let’s not be lazy about that. Let’s tackle those hard questions about our faith. Let’s make sure people coming back to the church understand what Christianity is. It isn’t just a feel-good experience. It equips us to have victory in our lives. It connects us with our Creator. It builds a coalition of people who are out there fighting the good fight. And many people are doing that, and you’re doing that, Kim, on the airwaves. And we have to keep doing that, and we can’t give up on these tough fights. that look like a losing battle, they’re not losing. At the end of the day, God’s our victory, and we have to bring God’s truth out into the public square and keep fighting that fight and equip those who are returning to the church to understand that it’s not just, you know, Christianity light. It’s a Christianity that’s robust and powerful, and it demolishes strongholds, so let’s go do that fight.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and that’s why your book, The Revelation of Emery Audubon, is so important. Ann Recker, I’ve been reflective, really thinking a lot about our culture and our society, and we’ve got these foundational principles. Now, America did not force religion, which I think is amazing. And the reason is, is because I think the founders felt that Christianity can stand on its own two feet in the battle of ideas. And I say on the show, if something’s a good idea, you should not have to force it. Christ did not force himself upon anyone. It’s all based—and the word liberty and freedom is in the Bible— But the sanctity of the individual and these rights from God, and when we’re created in the image of God, he’s a creator. So that means that we create, we innovate, which America gave people the freedom to do that. And when we talk about life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, I’ve been thinking a lot about this transition. transgender agenda this radical activist agenda that has has um encouraged the mutilation of children so that they cannot create uh and have children in the future and i think we take a gut test and say hey if there’s something that’s standing against creativity And life and liberty, the responsible exercise of freedom, those are not good ideas. And I think we need to be engaging in that, which is, I think, what you’re doing with your book.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, exactly. And it means saying it’s discerning the times, Kim. And my book is an invitation. Let’s discern the times. What’s really what? What’s really truth? What really isn’t? And the transgender issue is such a tough one because essentially it’s kidnapping kids from their God-given identity and their God-given identity and who they are and who they’re created to be. Every single one of us, God has given us a purpose, and we don’t have to reinvent that. And there’s an element in our culture— that wants to say there is no God, like there is in my story, The Revelation of Emery Audubon. So we’re going to create our own version of truth. And it only leads to ruin. It only wrecks kids’ lives. And I just, we’re hearing horror stories of one gentleman who who totally lost contact with his daughter because some teacher in her school talked her into becoming transgender. And he couldn’t, he couldn’t, he couldn’t, the school system, unless he bought into that agenda, they wouldn’t let him own his daughter anymore. Well, the schools don’t own our children. That’s a bold-faced lie. And to put up with this, it’s like, enough. We’re not going to put up with this. And I think we have to learn how to have that conversation. I know one mother who her son walked into a bathroom at school and or rather her daughter walked into a bathroom at school and there was a boy in there and she trained her daughter how to talk to that boy. As he was trying to transgender, she trained her daughter to say, I like you as a boy. You’re OK as a boy. And she talked to the school system in a noncombative way. And she said, my daughter has a right to her identity. And how are we going to partner together? to make sure her identity is affirmed. And so she turned it around. So I think there’s some creative strategies going on out there, and we need to learn from each other. I think sometimes that conversation is a gentle, let’s find common ground conversation. And sometimes it’s saying to the thief, get out of my house. You’re not stealing my kids. You’re not stealing common sense. You’re not stealing biblical truth. And we’re not putting up with it. So I think we have to be armed with both strategies, and both strategies have a time and place, Kim. But we just can’t sit back and say, oh, this too shall pass. I think we’ve got to fight it with the truth and clarity you’re talking about. And we do it, and we do it consistently. And we say, no, you’re not snatching our kids. And Colorado has some particular challenges because laws are passing and being attempted to pass that really upend biblical truth and seek to overtake them, at the end of the day, biblical truth is going to last. And these other, they’re not just weird things. They’re wicked, and we can’t put up with them.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and that’s why your book is so important. One last comment, and I love to read. I read all kinds of books when I was a child. I used to read total books. That hasn’t happened lately a lot because I’ve been reading to stay up on things for the show. But when people say that they’re reading for pleasure – I remember that there was a really nasty book out there that was very popular. And I would see all kinds of suburban women reading the particular book. And my dad taught me this. There’s only a certain amount of hours in the day. And you choose what you do with those. So if you’re going to read for pleasure… I recommended this to my family is read for things that uphold the human spirit. Read things that are not nasty, those kinds of things. That’s not pleasure. That’s not a good idea to go down that road. We as individuals have to have that discipline. And so the book, The Revelation of Emery Audubon, is something you have a certain amount of hours in the day, your students have a certain amount of hours in the day, your kids, encourage to be reading these kinds of things that will uphold their spirit and, you know, give them some clarity to all of these issues that are out there right now. Your final thought on all this, Ann Recker.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, my final thought, Kim, is that I believe we’re in an age of reformation. Many people have woken up to the fact that We can’t put up with these ludicrous things in our culture anymore. I believe our government, our president and cabinet members are saying enough is enough. And I think let’s join this season of reformation and jump into the fray and be reformers ourselves. And the revelation of Emery Audubon is all about that, is how do we spark reformation in the midst of ruin? And that’s Emery Audubon’s journey, and she’s
SPEAKER 04 :

SPEAKER 10 :
Thank you, Kim. It’s nice to be with you.
SPEAKER 04 :
And you do guest host the show periodically. And you called yesterday. You’d actually got on the national radio show yesterday of Clay and Buck because of your perspective. So tell us a little bit about that.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, I guess he was looking for other police officers in the area too, but they’re a little busy right now. So I do have relatives in California, so I got in for a couple minutes. But I wanted to start with something here. Also, interesting enough, I was also in the National Guard. So really, I’m like the trifecta with all the angles to this. But it’s interesting how during my 14 years as a guest in Mexico, it never occurred to me to fly a U.S. flag or start a riot. in mexico flying the u.s flag so um the only u.s flags i ever saw there was the u.s embassy flag at the embassy and uh and the well the american flag at the embassy and an american flag at american schools which flew you know they flew the flags in proper protocol placement as a respect to the country and respect is a beautiful thing and i think some folks in l.a could use a lesson in respect
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, this thing, as we have continued to unpack it, is very well organized. And people can see what they have planned at nokings.org. And then I got over here on the partners side of this, and this is a mini left-wing company. groups that are behind this, and there’s a bunch of them. So your recommendation on what people should do this weekend, because they have protests, and you and I both believe in peaceful protests, but I’m concerned there are those that want to at least get some of these to devolve into violence.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, absolutely. These things are dangerous. And they, you know, the folks behind this, are just trying to suck people in and turn you into the next j6 scam so stay away these are not protests so there’s no need for a counter protest these are riots um and they are a rent-a-mob and they are fire starters paid for by leftist communists or just whatever people that are trying to start things and um do not give them the attention that they’re bucking for do not at all play into their hand because that’s exactly what they want So the only attention they need is from the police and the National Guard, who exist precisely to end these little parties. And, you know, the leftist media has been saying that it’s just some people having fun burning cars. Well, that is the definition of destruction and a riot and everything else. So these people are they’re just lunatics, even the ones who are reporting on it that aren’t being honest. And Colorado better take this stuff seriously and nip it in the bud or good people are going to get hurt. So a message to the mayor and to the governor, do not be like California. Lead, follow, or get out of the way. Do your job and direct law enforcement to do theirs. I say release the Kraken. Seriously, this stuff is dangerous.
SPEAKER 04 :
So the way I see this being played out, and particularly when I look at this list of partners, is that having Donald Trump bring in the military, which I don’t really like the idea of military having to be used as law enforcement in America. I’m really uncomfortable with that. with that. So we have the National Guard and then there’s reports that we have Marines or Army in California as well. What would you say to that? Yvonne Payette.
SPEAKER 10 :
Here’s the thing with that. Here’s the thing with that. I don’t like military use either. As a matter of fact, if we all followed the Ten Commandments, we wouldn’t need police either, you know? So, yes, we use police when we need them. We use the National Guard, which is at the discretion of the governor, as we need them. But when you have a governor who’s probably in bed with all the people doing this, so he is not going to stop it because they’re the ones who started it or his buddies are the ones who started it. Then we have a situation where California is part of the United States and it sits right on the border, which is inconvenient for having these kinds of riots with people flying the flag of, you know, that’s just of the country that’s just south of the border. So when we get into these things, when governors are not taking care of their own backyard and their stuff the way they should, and they do belong to a larger conglomerate, named the United States of America, and they happen to be precariously positioned on the border, well, then daddy’s got to step in and take care of business. And that’s what I mean by lead, follow, or get the heck out of the way. So if Gavin Newsom and his, you know, whatever, the governor over there and the mayor over there were taking care of their business, which they were not, somebody else wouldn’t have to take care of it for them. So there’s a time and a place, and I’m not for that either, but I’m also not for just handing over our country to a band of anarchists.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. And as you’re saying all this, I was just thinking about, remember all these news reports that Gavin Newsom wanted to have Trump, the federal government, he’s frustrated that Trump has said, we’re not going to send you these federal funds for blah, blah, blah, because of your policies. It’s In our country, it’s out of whack anyway. We should not be taking money from other states and borrowing from our children to fund things going on in each state. That’s another thing that needs to go away is these government grants. But Gavin Newsom sure wanted the Donald Trump administration to send him money, though.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, and you know, there’s all of that stuff. And I don’t know, you know, California is a long ways away from here kind of thing. I don’t know him well. But the proof is in the police. So I don’t know the nitty gritties of it. But I can see what’s going on now. And the command takes on the personality of the commander. So frankly… California is a mess because those who are leading California in positions of government are a mess. So there’s just I will make no excuses for them.
SPEAKER 04 :
OK, final thought. We’ve got about a minute left. And thank you. Late breaking to call in and share your perspective on this, Yvonne Piaz.
SPEAKER 10 :
Thank you. It’s just so important because this is dangerous. So people shouldn’t go in there, shouldn’t play into the hand of any of this. And don’t go to these riots disguised as protests. And it’s time for some folks to face some consequences. So you started it. Somebody’s going to have to finish this. And hopefully it’ll be okay. But if people get stupid, it’s not going to be pretty. Stay away.
SPEAKER 04 :
I think that’s really important advice to stay away and don’t even go as an observer. And there are those with the agenda. And then I think we have… people that are well-meaning Americans that have this Donald Trump hate that are going to show up and could be pawns in this whole thing. So we need to be really wise as a country on this. Yvonne Paez, thank you so much. I greatly appreciate you sharing your perspective with us. Thank you, Kim. And we are in a very dangerous time in our country, and this is a trying to foment some kind of a revolution to overthrow the American idea of a constitutional republic. And so we need to be praying, we need to be working, shedding light on what’s going on, talking with our friends, our family, and our neighbors. And our quote from Schultz and Knitzen is this. He said, violence can only be concealed by a lie, and a lie can only be maintained by by violence. So today, be grateful, read great books, think good thoughts, listen to beautiful music, communicate and listen well, live honestly and authentically, strive for high ideals, and like Superman, stand for truth, justice, and the American way. My friends, we are not alone here. So God bless you, God bless America, and we’ll talk with you again tomorrow. And so have a great day.
SPEAKER 08 :
Talking about freedom Talking about freedom I will fight
