Brett Jones served for 26 years in the Army, National Guard, and Reserves. Jones shares experiences from his time in the military. When assigned to Arlington National Cemetery, Jones served on the twenty-one gun salute funeral detail. Jones discusses his year long deployment to Iraq and the difference between WWII soldiers returning home via several days on a ship with other combat veterans, and today’s soldier that can be in a war zone one day, and home the next.
