Dana Lash’s Absurd Truth Podcast.
SPEAKER 05 :
Let me hold your hand when I say this. We do not move to America because we think it’s a better country. We move here because it’s a little less worse than our other countries. Because you’re stupid to think that we moved to this country for some hot dogs and some baseball. We have better vibes, music, food, culture, history, literally all of the above. We just move here because we are looking to make more money and offer a better chance for our families.
SPEAKER 04 :
Did you know that the minimum wage? Are you telling me that you can’t raise your family on music and vibes? Also, any bitch that sits here and like does her hands like that in any kind of video is about to tell you something so annoying that it could actually cook parts of your brain. If there’s nothing, look, I cannot stand the acrylic wearing. I mean, you’re these like ghetto-tastic nails that you’ve got on that look like some janky Lee press on nails, like these stupid Lee press on nails. So tired of this stuff. Good night. Maybe I should say that nicer. I don’t like bimbos with acrylic nails. How about that? Can you not raise your family on vibes and music? I’m so shocked. Like you can’t raise your family on vibes and music. Yeah, it’s oppression. Honestly, I think we should tax remittances. Why are we taxing American citizens at a higher rate than we’re taxing remittances? Because that’s like what only the one big, beautiful bill doesn’t even barely touch it. You get a one percent tax on it. One big, beautiful. That’s why I hated the thing. I was never a fan of it because I don’t like the fact that anchor babies are included in the welfare scheme that are that are the Trump accounts. You can get mad because it says Trump accounts all you want to. But don’t sit here and say you’re America first when anchor babies are absolutely, absolutely not excluded. I’ve read it. Have you? Because I’ve read the proposal. Have you? Oh, okay. That’s what I thought. Drive-bys. They’re included. And it’s $1,000 from the Treasury. And it’s only a 1% tax on remittances. That should be at a minimum of 70%. 70% tax on remittances. You should not have American citizens taxed more. By the way, the insane amount of I think billions of dollars in terms of remittances that are funneled back to other countries is insane. Absolutely insane. They’re actually seeing I’m picking up my some of my notes here for some of these countries. It’s like 30 percent of their annual GDP. Did you know that for Lebanon, 33 percent for Samoa? I mean, there’s like that’s a territory. But for many of these other countries, I mean, like Mexico and even getting into like India, et cetera. Holy wow. It is insane. Almost four percent of India’s GDP is from remittances. Almost 10 percent of Pakistan’s GDP is from remittances. That’s crazy. That’s, I mean, what in the world? So yeah, tax it at 70%. And we should also severely restrict immigration to an actual sustainable level. That’s really what we should be doing. But… There it is. So welcome back to the program. Dana Lash with you. We are at the top of the second hour. That’s one of the videos that was making the rounds like, oh, we’re just, you know, not. Well, then why do then leave if you don’t like it? So there is to it, then just leave. But remittances, I was actually shocked at how low those were taxed. I mean, good heavens. And that’s a big chunk of it. That’s quite a lot of it. It’s our friends over at Super Beats. I mean, it is Super Beats. You guys are very familiar with the product. You’re very familiar with the company, the company human behind it. They were founded out of the UT Health Science Center built on cardiovascular research on blood flow and nitric oxide. And it’s very different from other supplement brands. They’re very devoted to actual science. And you can tell this because their products work. UT athletes have used Super Beats for over a decade. They call it their cheat code for recovery and endurance on game day. And you can use them for the very same reason, to support healthy blood pressure, circulation, and energy every day. And it all comes down to blood flow. That is the connection. Heart health, blood pressure, circulation, and energy all comes down to blood flow. And they use clinically studied ingredients in the Super Beats Heart Chews to target all of this. And it delivers actually, and they’ve studied it, two times more effective heart healthy blood pressure support than diet and exercise alone. And it’s heart healthy energy without the crash. There’s no sugar added. There’s no other. I mean, there’s no additives added at all. And you can grab it at Sam’s Club right now. Super Beats are offering five dollars off for a limited time. Great way to support healthy blood pressure, circulation and energy. Five dollars off, but only until February 22nd at Sam’s Club.

SPEAKER 04 :
We had a brief, ever so brief, and by the way, this is the perfect song for those porno for pyros. We’d make great pets for you listening terrestrially. We had a very brief moment yesterday of unity for the most part. It was about, what do you think, Cain? 80-20, 90-10? Yeah, 90-10. You think it was 90-10? Yeah. Okay. So there was a brief, ever so brief moment of unity yesterday. And it had to do with dogs. Dogs are great. I have two dogs, as you all know. I love them. And everybody has dogs all over the United States. They have them as pets in New York, in Manhattan, which I always thought was kind of difficult. You know, you got to take your dog outside. You got to go out of the apartment. You got to go to a green space. You got to do all this stuff. But nevertheless… But they’re great. I like dogs. I shouldn’t say this, but I do think I do like dogs better than people. I don’t say that as a joke either. I’m being very serious. It’s just they’re very pure and they come to you with no ulterior motive. It’s just they are who they are. And so I think there was a lot of there’s some very good reason that. why people were very upset at a comment from this Islamist activist. And the Islamist activist was talking about how dogs should be banned as pets in Manhattan. And I made a tweet yesterday saying, yes, we’re no, we’re not banning dogs. This is America. You know, acclimate, assimilate or leave. We’re not doing this nonsense, which is true. But there was this act. And this activist, by the way, has been involved in a number of different protests, etc. And in fact, kind of, I think, wants to provoke fights. But I saw this and I was retweeting some of it yesterday. And this woman, Nardine Kizwani, I don’t know what her name is. She’s a pro-Humas activist and she was… telling people that they should have their dogs in Manhattan banned. She said, quote, finally, NYC is coming to Islam. Dogs definitely have a place in society, just not as indoor pets. Like we’ve said all along, they are unclean. Well, she’s started losing the courage of her conviction When she began getting pushback from the millions of people who like dogs. And so then she responded, quote, LMAO at the Zionists frothing at the mouth at this thinking they’re doing something. It’s obviously a joke. I don’t care if you have a dog. I do care if your dog is blanking everywhere and you’re not cleaning it. So she tried to walk it back and wasn’t able to because then she has a bunch of other tweets where she was absolutely talking about how, yes, she didn’t like dogs. And she kept saying, no, it was a joke. But it wasn’t a joke. That’s what people who are who are unsteady in their courage say when they have to defend convictions that they don’t have the courage to defend. And they always go, oh, it’s a joke. It’s a joke. It’s not, though. I mean, I would think that a dog defecating on the streets of Manhattan is probably better than some of the fecal hole third world hell holes where maybe she comes from, where people just do it in the streets. Just saying. True. Where’s the lie? So this start. And can I just say, too, because she said LMAO at the Zionist frothing at the mouth over this. It’s Zionist to Zionist. Calling someone a Zionist is the same thing as the left calling someone a racist or a fascist. There’s no meaning to this word anymore. So apparently it’s Zionist to like dogs. I mean, how many more ways are we going to sodomize the English language to accommodate foreign bigotry? I’m really curious about this. So Randy Fine, who is a congressman from Florida, and as you know, he’s been on the show before. We had a very interesting little tete-a-tete, you could say. But I at least give him credit. He had more credit. He had more balls than Tucker Carlson to come on my show and talk about these issues. So I can’t really begrudge him a whole hell of a lot, right? So anyway, Randy Fine had made a post. What did Randy Fine’s post say again? I don’t even remember. He said something. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER 06 :
If you make us choose between either Muslims or dogs, you know, the choice won’t be that difficult for us.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, he had like this very tongue in cheek, you know, remark. And he had said, yeah, if they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one. And everybody lost their mind. I mean, you had Governor Newsom, Gavin Newsom, Jake Tapper, everyone. Oh, my gosh. What did he say that’s wrong? We’re talking about a culture clash here. He’s addressing something where, and it’s not just her, there are other people that have said they’re haram, they should be banned. So let’s not dumb ourselves down and act like we’re only responding to someone’s non-joking, very serious tweet. But he’s talking about the choice between cultures, between a culture that cares for creatures less than them and a culture that does not. It’s very simple. Dana, you’re so mean, really? Then let’s go examine all of these countries, country by country. Oh, that’ll be so fun for you. I love that journey. Let’s take it together. So he’s, I don’t see where’s the lie. But then people were saying, oh my goodness, he says he hates all Muslims. Have you seen some of the headlines characterizing the things he said? Oh my gosh. They said, oh, now they’re saying, oh, he needs to quit. Anti-Muslim remark. It’s not anti-Muslim. Yeah. How is it anti-Muslim? You know what? To your point, though, Cain, how is that? Is that not how it goes? You go into a waffle house and you’re like, you know what? I like my hash browns plain. And someone’s like, why do you hate hash browns smothered and covered? Why are you an anti-smothered and covered bigot? Or you go to IHOP. I just really like waffles better than pancakes. Why are you? All you have to do is say, I like waffles. You don’t even mention pancakes. Go in there and say, I like waffles. Why do you hate pancakes? It’s the same game. It’s not an anti… You know the people saying that it’s anti are people who are frothing at the mouth for attention through victimhood. They fetishize being victims to the point where they practically black out with excitement at the opportunity. There’s nothing that he said that’s wrong in here. Oh, he faces backlash. Well, get over it. I’m so tired of this stuff. I’m so tired of it. No one gives a rat’s ass if you’re offended. Go be offended… somewhere else I don’t care go be offended in an AIDS fire nobody cares done I’m done with that where’s the lie you’re I mean and it was someone why why is it that no one on the left got out there and said no no they don’t want to ban dogs no one on the left said that why why oh because they do good grief And then people, well, oh, he’s so sexist. Oh, my gosh. It’s so anti-Muslim. It’s so this. I’m so tired of it. If you’re… Again, an activist, a pro-Hamas activist in Manhattan is talking about banning people’s dogs, gets caught out in the remark, tries to somewhat not really entirely walk it back, and has a ton of other tweets saying the same thing. They’re not joking. And people have every right to respond to it. And yes, if you’re talking about rejecting a culture that actually doesn’t mind abusing animals and abuses women to… in the construct of its meager barbaric jurisprudence called Sharia, then yeah, I think I’m going to make a very clear culture choice too. But no one is either, these people that are mad about it, either A, are not intelligent enough about it to look at it in this correct context, or again, B, they’re fetishizing outrage because they love putting themselves on a victim’s pedestal. That’s exactly what it is. There was nothing that he said that was wrong. But I’m so tired of people going, oh, like she was saying, like the Zionist frothing at the mouth over. When the hell did it become Zionist to like dogs? It is. It’s all insane. And double and triple down on it. I mean, I don’t know. But he didn’t say anything wrong. I don’t like that I have to defend him, but he didn’t say anything incorrect. But that’s what he said. If they force us to choose the choice between dogs and Muslims, it’s not a difficult one. We’re supposed to say, no, no, we prefer the people that are calling for us to ban our dogs. And that’s what she actually was. And she’s done it again. A number of a number of other tweets that other people refuse to acknowledge because then their narratives fall apart. It’s very uncomfortable for them. I like dogs. You know, John Wick was a movie about a dog. It was. It was a movie about a man who really loved his dog. I love my dog similarly. Just in case there were any questions about it. But speaking of Islamism, because that is something that they’re going to try to push. Yesterday we were talking about their call to prayer that was going through the streets of Manhattan. And how you could hear it. It was actually in Astoria, but you could hear it everywhere. But all of the people who, again, you want to talk about who are the real victims in all of this. I don’t know if you’ve seen some of this. Let me pull a couple of these up. Because I had this headline that I wanted to touch on. We talked about the marriage thing with the United Nations yesterday. Okay, so in Sudan, 6,000 have been killed over three days during an attack. Guess what? It’s Islamists that have been killing Christians. Hmm. You have your Islamist militias that have been overrunning predominantly Christian areas, forcing people to convert. All the Christ is King people, all of the Nazi twink fan club, nobody talks about this. Because they’re Islamists, really. That’s why. They don’t care. But that’s a major issue. A major issue. The Arab world. But no one wants to criticize. No one wants to say anything because they want to keep going on those junkets to Qatar so that they can take pictures of themselves outside of their bougie five-star hotel rooms. I mean, how are they going to prove to people that they’re wanted and their influence is valued if they can’t go to Middle Eastern countries? Because apparently those are the only countries that are going to pay these people for their quote-unquote influence. So how are they going to convince people that they’re important? Listen to me. Mm-mm. But then nobody talks about this. Nobody talks about the Christians being killed, places like Nigeria and Sudan and elsewhere, by Islamist militias that are trying to drive out some of the oldest of the Christian faiths in all of Christendom. The Coptics? Come on. So no peeps on that. No discussions on that at all. But it’s a lot easier for people to talk about the dog thing, isn’t it? So I’ve been paying attention to what’s happening with gold and silver lately. And honestly, it’s pretty shocking. Gold and silver have risen to record highs in relation to the dollar. And after talking with Colin over at Noble Gold Investments, I really get it. This isn’t about trying to time the market. It’s not about chasing some get rich quick opportunity. It’s about protecting what you’ve already worked so hard to build. And when the economy feels uncertain and when currencies start weakening, when people get nervous about their retirement accounts, historically, they look for stability. And physical gold and silver have always been a part of that conversation. Now, I appreciate, I think, maybe the most that Colin and his team, they don’t pressure people, right? They don’t use hype. They didn’t use that with me. They just simply walk me through my options. They answer questions and they treat you with respect. And that matters. Noble Gold has helped people protect their savings with physical gold and silver. They’ve been doing it for nearly a decade with transparency and real customer service. SPEAKER 07 :
And now all of the news you would probably miss. It’s time for Dana’s Quick Five.
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh my gosh, this is not a headline that I want, guys. It’s so bad. A father stabbed a baby and tossed him into the snow in Pennsylvania. This is horrible. A 44-year-old. It’s a three-month-old baby. How does this happen? He, um… It was supposed to be a rain. The judge did not proceed after observing his condition. They escorted him out of the Coatesville Police Department, took him to Chester County Prison. He apparently stabbed his infant son and threw him into the snow after an altercation with the mother. The mother was trying to stop him. The three-month-old baby, they took the baby to the hospital in an ambulance. And there was another nine-year-old child who the mother told to run and go get help. I just can’t even. Wow. So he’s several charges, attempted criminal homicide. Thankfully, the baby is in stable but critical condition. This guy needs to be put to death immediately. Immediately. There is no way back to civilization for this guy. Apparently, CBS finds that sexual assaults on airplanes are up and likely underreported. Wow. I don’t put up with anything on a plane. I will stab you in the flippin neck if you try anything with me. I’m not even kidding you. I did not. How does that even happen on a plane? How do people why are they up on planes? Everyone can see you. You are not getting away with this. How in the world? They CBS goes into the story of this woman who was trapped in the middle seat and apparently was assaulted by someone. That’s when you stab him, lady. I mean, you stab him in the family jewels or in the neck, man, I would. So, yeah, the I don’t know if it’s just anecdotal or what, but they’re apparently saying, according to the study, that it’s there. These kinds of assaults are increasing on planes. Wow. Of course, they don’t actually address that in the article, which would have been helpful. But, you know, here we are. Let’s see. 75% of people suffer from burnout. Yeah, this is from The Guardian. People are being worked to death. You are living to work instead of working to live. And that’s kind of the way that that’s, you know, unfortunately, we were supposed to have all of these things that were invented to help ease our life. And it’s only made it more burdensome and chaotic. Right. There was a confetti cannon explosion at a carnival in Switzerland. I always wondered about them things. Eleven people injured during a carnival in the Swiss village of Chablis. And they said it was a confetti cannon that, well, it was caused by the air compressor of said cannon. And the whole thing exploded. And it blew apart even apparently the platform on which the confetti cannon was being transported. Medics responded on site and there were a ton of… I mean, there were 11 people admitted to different hospitals around the area. So those things are dangerous. I just… I don’t know. I always wondered about them. I want to switch gears here and get to some other crazy stuff. So… First off, did we hear about how now they’re redoing? There’s a Scottish theatrical production of Joan of Arc. You know, they should have cast. They should have cast that one little axe wielding girl who kept being propositioned by a Middle Eastern migrant in Scotland. Remember? And she like brandished an axe and he was threatening to call police on her. He kept propositioning her. And according to witnesses, was saying sexual things to the girl. She was protecting her little sister. She had a scalped him anyway. But so now that’s who they should have cast. I mean, I don’t what gets me about the casting is the issues that the left makes of casting every day. So they cast this actress named Mandipa Cabana, and she’s a black actress who’s going to be playing Joan of Arc. So I can’t wait to see Kane when they redo Roots, Jacob Elordi being cast as Kunta Kinte for Roots, right? Why not? You know, go ahead and cast him. Or who’s that Robert Pattinson feller? Maybe, you know, have him as the star of Roots. I mean, it’s like the same thing. Or now hear me out. Sidney Sweeney as Mulan. Now you’re talking. Just saying. How about that? how offensive is it that no one wants to explore stories from other cultures they just want to reshape and recast other like stories that have been well known for eons and that come from those respective cultures it’s like people now getting mad over frozen it’s like okay you’re talking about basically scanned you’re talking about scandinavian people That’s that culture, a very Hans Christian Andersen kind of thing. You know, when you’re talking about Mulan, you’re talking about Japanese. I mean, for crying out loud. You’re telling me that there are no stories in any kind of other minority. I don’t believe you. I’m sure there are some fascinating stories that would I mean, good grief. Everybody knows Hollywood needs new ideas. Why are they not? Honestly, I would think it’s like a goldmine. Why are they not coming through? like all of these old stories and legends from other cultures, minority cult. Why are they not doing that and bringing those things to life? That’s insane to me. Instead, they just want to constantly redo and re-retcon like these older tales of other cultures. I don’t get it. What does this do? I don’t I don’t get it. Joan of Arc was a pale French girl.
SPEAKER 06 :
And we know that from all the art that she’s in.
SPEAKER 04 :
And also the descriptions of history that were taken into account while she was alive. I mean, they had quill and parchment then. It just doesn’t make sense. So I I don’t know. I I don’t know. Yeah, I she was a she was a they said this has to do with the power of youth led change. She that’s not what that was about. Tell me you have no idea what the source material is about without telling me. She was a woman who claimed that she had divine sight. And she literally convinced the Dauphin at the time of this mission from God and that she needs to lead it and to save the demoralized soldiers in France. I mean, what are you talking about? What a way to like dumb it down. That just sounds dumb. We’re making everything dumb. There are some amazing stories that you could absolutely tell without doing this kind of stuff. But yeah, it’s like it’s like casting like Jacob Elordi as Kunta Kinte. I mean, come on. This is this is ridiculous. And do you know how degrading it is? Think about just I want you to think about this is why I think it’s degrading. You are diminishing black actors and actresses by casting them in these stories instead of actually uplifting them. black stories that have black heroes and talk about various rich cultures from which various people originate. Most people are just clamoring for new content, not rehashed, rewritten retcon stuff. I almost find that more offensive than anything else. It’s like they’re too afraid to do the legwork. Oh no, we don’t want to have to research. Heaven forbid we put the legwork in. and actually look into these rich cultures and come up with stories from that. That’s so lazy. Hollywood is so lazy. Someone said, I can’t wait for Beyonce as the godfather when they redo that. I mean, it’s that ridiculous. And it removes your suspension of disbelief, right? That’s why I could never get into Cats. My mom made me go watch that with her when I was in junior high. And I was like, I’m going to call Division of Family Services on you because this is a musical with furries. And I have no idea what any of this is. What are they even talking about? I don’t know what they’re singing about. The songs are sad. And then I went and saw, I’ve been calling it this for 20 years, Jazz Hands and AIDS. That was Rent. I don’t do musicals.

SPEAKER 08 :
Anya, how do you want to grow?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, I’m also trying to grow my communications. I just became the communications chair of my school’s TA, student government.
SPEAKER 08 :
Hey, Brett, this thing about communication, how important is that? And how important is for Anya to continue to develop these communication skills?
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s so important. And I think today, as kids, you have your cell phones in your hands all the time and learn how to look people in the eye, publicly speak and talk to people.
