And he said, all he did was in a very non-confrontational, calm way, said, do you believe that the government has a right to enforce immigration laws? And they became enraged. This is amazing. I want to play this clip for you. These are like typical New Yorkers. It’s a man and a woman. They look like nice, they’re well-dressed. They look like they’re middle-aged New Yorkers, you know? They’re just typical New York libs. They’re mad that ICE is rounding up and deporting illegals. They’re mad that ICE officers are enforcing immigration laws, okay? You’ve got to hear this. This is wild. So take these two typical New Yorkers. Again, well-dressed, normal-looking people. They’re your typical, you know, Manhattan libs, right? And the guy is interviewing them. And just like that, the Washington Post story about how Pete Hegseth ordered that the survivors clinging to the side of a Venezuelan drug cartel boat were killed is being debunked. By the New York Times. But, of course, the damage has been done. The smear of the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, and the Trump administration has been done. Somebody on social media said they knew it was all BS, but they needed a distraction after their seditious six got two of our soldiers shot and killed. They are evil, somebody posted. John Podoritz on social media said, if this account is true, the Washington Post story is a genuinely vile slander of both Pete Hegseth and Admiral Bradley. The New York Times, it’s kind of a big deal because I’m not even sure I understand the controversy in the first place. I’m old enough to remember we put bullets between the eyes of Osama bin Laden and nobody batted an eye. What due process did he get? You do me a favor if you’re squeamish about us blowing narco-terrorists out of the water as they’re spiriting drugs into our country. Go ask a parent of a child who died from an overdose what they think. I have. Because one of those parents happens to be a dear friend of mine. And he told me he is absolutely grateful for the Trump administration’s efforts to prevent another tragic death of another parent’s son. But they needed a distraction. So they thought they got it. Oh, war crime, war crime. Pete Hegseth, Admiral Bradley. There were two clinging to the side of a boat, and Pete Hegseth ordered them killed. Well, according to the New York Times, the Washington Post account is false. From the Times article, and I quote, the Post article did not provide context for on what order Mr. Hegseth gave, what its sources described as a spoken order to kill everyone. And again, just to reiterate John Podoritz’s observation, if that’s true, what the Washington Post did is a genuinely vile slander. New York Times took five reporters to come up to this conclusion that was published yesterday. Hegseth ordered lethal boat strike, but not the killing of survivors. I’m just trying to understand why the killing of survivors would be a war crime, as so many people are squawking about. Last night on CNN, Batya Ungar Sargon took the position and made the argument that this second strike story has been massively, massively misreported.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, first of all, the story has been massively misreported. So you have actual headlines saying that Hegseth gave the order for the second hit. That wasn’t in the initial Washington Post article, which claimed that following, by hearsay, somebody claimed to have heard Hegseth say, We have to kill everybody. Therefore, the admiral gave the second hit. So I just want to clear that up. I think that’s why Hegseth wrote the tweet is to just correct the record. But what I don’t understand is it is the secretary of state’s right to determine who is a terrorist and who isn’t. The Secretary of State answers to the executive branch. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has determined that these boats are carrying terrorists, which makes the attacks on them legal. And the only question is whether that boat was disabled or whether it was destroyed. If it was destroyed, how were there still live people clinging to it? And if it was only disabled, let me just finish the point, then it was still a threat, meaning it was still a legitimate target. So I’m very confused. And by the way, I’ve spoken to a lot of veterans today. who are also very confused by all of this bipartisan outrage. I don’t get it.

Well, let’s talk about the partisan outrage for a moment. I’m going to say something that I don’t think is provocative at all. The Democrats are on the side of the narco-terrorists. There’s no other way to describe this. That’s the simplest, most concise and accurate way to portray the partisan outrage. This is all coming from the left. This is all coming from Democrats. They’re upset that we killed narco-terrorists. Again, go back to Osama bin Laden. Bullet right between the eyes. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. There is no due process. Tracy found stories about all the drone attacks under the Obama administration where civilians were killed. Remember the wedding party? Remember the things that happened? Well, these aren’t civilians. These are enemy combatants. These are people bringing lethal drugs into our country. And Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, all of this has been thoroughly vetted. Military lawyers, civilian lawyers, they know these are bad guys. They are narco-terrorists. Hey, Democrats, how does it feel to know that your party is on the side of narco-terrorists? How’s that feel? How’s that feel to line up and support Luigi Mangione yesterday, like so many of you were doing? These lunatics who are fans of Luigi, fans of a guy who calmly and cowardly stalked a young husband and father and pumped his body full of bullets because he had some ax to grind about the healthcare insurance industry. How’s that feel to be on his side? How’s that feel to be on the side of people who are wreaking havoc in the streets of America and attacking ICE officers who are only enforcing our immigration laws. How does that feel? It’s got to feel awful. It’s got to feel terrible. I’m like Batya Ungar Sargon. I’m confused about how anybody could even pretend to be on the side of narco-terrorists. Listen to Mark Kelly. Listen to this senator from Arizona who I believe was a captain in the U.S. Navy, right? Right. This is a guy who now has been caught basically red-handed, having to admit there were no unlawful orders. You know the story of the Seditious Six, right? They come along and they say, oh, we’ve got to send the message out. We cannot. You must disobey unlawful commands. And everybody kept saying, what unlawful commands are you talking about? And they never really answered. Well, now there’s an answer. Mark Kelly was asked about it yesterday, and he said there have been no unlawful commands. We’re just worried about what might happen down the road.

Were these sort of strikes that are now in the news what you were making reference to when you posted that video telling members of the military that they needed to feel okay just obeying orders that they felt were illegal?
SPEAKER 10 :
Based on who this president is and who this Secretary of Defense is, and specifically things that the president has said in the past and things he was talking about doing in the future. Let me give you an example. 2016. He’s talking about something on a debate stage that was clearly illegal. And he was reminded by Brett Baer from Fox News that that would be an illegal order. Military won’t do that. You know what the president’s response was to that? The military will not refuse my orders. Implying that even if they are illegal, they will not refuse them. He’s also talked about shooting protesters in the legs. Then he’s talking about deploying more troops to American cities and using those cities as training grounds. Do you know what that means? That means using the American people for the military to train on. We were looking forward to try to head something off at the pass that could have been really, really bad. So it wasn’t about this specific thing.

He’s forced to admit they lied all along. He’s now being forced to admit there have never been any illegal orders or unlawful orders. That’s what he’s been reduced to. And ultimately… He’s disgraced himself. The seditious six have disgraced themselves. And I think the whole phony narrative about killing the narco-terrorist survivors, as Joe said a minute ago, was all intentional. It was all by design. It was on purpose. So the business community was like, let’s send them to Minneapolis because that’ll keep profits up and keep the wages down. And they form this huge voting bloc in the city. I think it’s 80,000 Somalians are in the state of Minnesota and they all vote Democrat. And so who figured this whole thing out? Wasn’t just New York Times. Wasn’t it just Chris Ruffo? Doge. What did we hear in the beginning of the year? That criminals were ripping off nonprofits. They were just stealing money. Dana’s right. They happened in New York. It happened in L.A. Remember they had, was it $24 billion for the homeless? You don’t think this is happening in every city across the country? That’s where the money’s going. Democrats are always so worried about inflation and the social welfare net. It’s because criminals are stealing it and they won’t do anything about it. And they didn’t do anything about it because of racism.

Dimitri Bolt over at townhall.com reports that the House Oversight Committee chairman, James Comer, is telling reporters that his panel will conduct a thorough investigation into Governor Walz’s failure to safeguard taxpayer dollars. saying he was warned, Waltz was warned about massive fraud in a pandemic food aid program for kids, yet he wouldn’t act. He failed to act. Whistleblowers who raised concerns faced retaliation from Waltz’s government. Because of Governor Waltz’s negligence, criminals, including Somali terrorists, stole nearly a billion dollars from the program, while children suffered. This investigation could lead to criminal charges. The DOJ has already convicted 59 people involved in this scheme, and the Treasury Secretary yesterday, Scott Besson, announced an investigation into the very same scheme. The United States Department of the Treasury is going to investigate. Besson wrote, at my direction, the U.S. Treasury is investigating allegations that that under the feckless mismanagement of the Biden administration and Governor Tim Walz, hardworking Minnesotans’ tax dollars may have been diverted to the terrorist organization Al-Shabaab. Thanks to the leadership of President Trump, we’re acting fast to ensure Americans’ taxes are not funding acts of global terror. Now look, here’s the funny thing about this. I’m not sure Democrats in Minnesota care. if their taxpayer dollars were funding a terrorist organization. They’re on the side of the terrorists. They’re now siding with the narco-terrorists, the enemy combatants coming in from Venezuela. They’re lined up siding with Luigi Mangione. He’s got a whole fan club out there in New York City. They love the guy. You don’t like health insurance? Then assassinate the CEO and we’ll make you a hero. We’ll make you a star. That’s the Democrat way. I saw a TikToker last night interview a couple of typical New York City libs. A middle-aged woman with a nice expensive flowery jacket on. She’s got flowers all over. We need to make her famous. The guy next to her, normal-looking guy. Middle-aged, typical New York libs. This is what New York liberals sound like, look like, feel like. They’re out marching around protesting ICE. And you’ve got to hear this exchange. You’ve got to see this. This is so revealing about today’s Democrat Party. This sums up today’s libs perfectly, okay? Follow the tone and the demeanor of the guy with the microphone interviewing the ICE protesters. All throughout New York, these people pop up at the places where illegals are being rounded up. And deported. And they go through the whole weepy, sad take about families being torn apart. And the guy asks a legitimate question. Watch what happens to the tone of the liberal New Yorkers when the guy asks an entirely reasonable question. We ask why you’re out here today.
