We have very substantial talks going on with respect to Iran with the right people. You know, I told you about a president, right? Steve, can I reveal the present? You can do anything you want. They said to show you the fact that we’re real and solid and we’re there. We’re going to let you have eight boats of oil, eight boats, eight big boats of oil. This was two days ago. And they’ll sail up tomorrow. That was three days ago. And I didn’t think much about it. And then I watched the news and they said, a very good anchor actually, happened to be Fox, but I watched it and they said, something’s unusual happening. There are eight boats that are going right up the middle of the Hormuz Strait. Eight big tankers are going loaded up with oil right through. And I said, well, I guess I guess they were right. And they were they were real. And I think they were Pakistani flagged. And I said, well, I guess we deal with the right people. And actually, they then apologized for something they said. And they said, we’re going to send two more boats. And it ended up being 10 bucks. I hope I haven’t screwed up your negotiations. I thought it was appropriate to say because I did taunt you the other day by saying they’re going to give us a present.

So we’re getting some we got boats of oil. We don’t really need it. I mean, that was the other thing the president was talking about was how much oil. You know, we’re we’re able to be self-sufficient here. We have I mean, we’re able to make way more money. I mean, we’ve got more than they do because we we put it up on steroids. We got more than they do. So that is not I mean, that’s that’s that’s not a concern. But I thought it was funny that they gave us both the oil, please. But they’re also trying to simultaneously look hard. This is the closest that we are ever going to get. to, it’s not about regime change. We already did the regime change. This is what these idiots out here who are like, I don’t want a regime change. I don’t want a regime change. We had a regime change. You actual walking mental abortions. We had a regime change. Democrats and the CIA did it in 1979. Actually, before then said started before then they did a regime change already. They had one already. This is undoing it. So if you hate regime changes, then you want to undo it. That’s just I’m not saying this. Other people are. No, we have the regime change that already happened. This is the on regime change. This is the takesies-backsies. So this is the closest that we’re ever going to get. And that’s why you have some of these other nations like, yes, do it. Keep the pressure on. Europe needs to help. I’m tired of bailing their backsides out. They need to get up and help. I know Kirsten. Oh, hold on. We’ll give you a ship. We’ll hurry and we’ll send a destroyer to Cyprus through the Med. We’ll go that way. No, no, no. It’s way too late. Just stay out of our way now. And all the talk about boots on the ground, which we discussed yesterday. It’s insane how people are acting like it’s going to happen like right this second. Really, it’s going to be Israeli forces. They’ve already amassed a number of things, a number. They’ve already they’ve they’ve already been been making their formations. So I thought this was. This his remarks here were helpful. Do you know who I and I’m just going to just come right out with it. I’m really getting tired of Nancy Mace’s pick-me-e-girl energy and these damn dramatics that she does. I am so tired of this nonsense, whether it’s wearing a literal scarlet letter on her sweater, whether it is going to the floor of the house and running her mouth about her ex in a boyfriend-girlfriend fight, knowing that she’s going to be protected from any kind of litigation because that stuff doesn’t apply if you’re on the house floor. I’m getting real tired of this. And I hear this from other congressional members. She’s not popular because she does this stuff. Nobody likes a pick-me-e-girl-energy type of bitch. Nobody likes it. I’m not saying she is one. I’m just saying nobody likes that type of girl, Kane. Nobody likes it. So she goes into the Situation Room last night. She comes out and immediately goes to the press. Okay. Like, I’ve never seen anybody chase that drama more than this woman. Every time this woman’s name comes up, I don’t see her doing anything other than create cause and waves. She comes out of a privileged meeting, and she is blowing up POTUS, saying that she’s livid. This is… What is this? What do we want to do for seven? Let’s play cut seven first. This was right after she left that meeting.

I want President Trump to take Lindsey Graham out of the situation room. Is he advising the president? He brags about it. And I don’t think Lindsey Graham, for all of that hubris, has thought through or war-grained the consequences of us taking Karg Island. Has he thought through what the Houthis are going to do? Has he thought through?

OK, I’m getting so tired of this talking point, first off. Lindsey Graham has about as much influence as everybody else in the Senate Armed Services Committee. I’m not a fan of Lindsey Graham, so I don’t give a rat’s backside. But I think all these people who keep going to the Lindsey Graham well, I mean, can you articulate any other reason? Do you have any other reason besides Lindsey Graham? No, you don’t. No one’s going to make him homecoming queen. He doesn’t. They act like he has this outsized influence. If he did, Trump would have been bombing the hell out of everybody the first week of his very first term back in 2016. Please. 2017, technically. But she goes to this meeting, races out of the room and is talking to members of the press there. This is cut eight. This is what she says with us. Listen.

What are you doing about it? You’re in the Senate. The hell are you doing about it? You’re literally in elected office. What have you proposed to stop it? What have you done to stop it? She spends more time arguing about her ex-boyfriend on the floor of the damn house than she does stopping this. I mean, to my eyes, can you all name the bill that she proposed to put an end to that? Oh, you can’t, can you? Because there isn’t one. This is what I’m talking about. I hate this performative nonsense. Do your damn job or shut the hell up. I’m so tired of it. I mean, literally raced out and immediately was tweeting. Oh, I was just in this meeting. I just walked out of the House Armed Services briefing. I am not going to blah, blah, blah. I mean, you walk out of a classified briefing and then you’re immediately telling the press what was discussed. Are you kidding me? Do you are you wanting us to lose? These are the this is the type of if you’re not interested in winning a conflict, shut the hell up. Get out of the way. I don’t care who you are. I will spit it as I say it to your face. Get out of the way then. This is stupid. This is how you get mission creep. This is how stuff drags on and on and on and on. Well, I just don’t know if I’ll commit a little bit, but not all the way. Shut up. We’ve laid it out, I think, pretty damn well since 1979 what has happened. And I think Trump has been more consistent than Mace or any of these other people. None of these other people have a platform on which they can touch him on this issue. And for the drive-bys who are morons and who are unfamiliar with my history of calling balls and strikes, I give credit where due. And if you have a problem with that, choke on it. I just don’t care. I’m so tired of this nonsense. walks out of this classified briefing, immediately starts yapping to the press. He’s been consistent on this, on this issue. The people who are like, well, I don’t want to do anything about Iran, the people who tried twice killing our president of the United States, killed thousands of Americans, have funded every proxy terror group, have funded proxies here in the U.S., have funded proxies at the southern border with fentanyl and everything as well to try another angle in which to destabilize the United States. These people don’t understand asymmetric warfare. But I love how they go, well, we’re just going to sit here and wait until they become really dangerous. We won’t do anything while they’re the least amount of danger. We’re going to wait until it gets really dangerous and there’s a greater chance for loss of resource in life before we do anything. That’s what they want to do. We’re going to wait. We’re going to wait until it gets really bad and then we’ll do something. That’s like saying, well, my house is only a little bit on fire. So I’m not going to call the fire department. It’s only a little bit on fire. Let’s see what happens. Let’s wait, you know, maybe when my house is 50% on fire, then I’ll call the fire department. That’s what they’re talking about doing here. If you boil it down, layman’s terms, that’s their strategy. That sounds absolutely moronic, does it not? Trump has been consistent on this issue since before I was born. Which is insane. I don’t know anybody that has been on a geopolitical issue, particularly as consistent. But I think that this she’s testing the waters here because, you know, the people who are out there slamming POTUS and doing all this woke Reich stuff and running their mouths about, you know, POTUS in Iran and he’s in over his head, etc., She’s testing the waters to see if that’s the camp perhaps that she should join. She’s trying to flex. Well, I don’t support any boots on that. First off, that’s not going to happen. And he’s not taking it off the table because that would be stupid. But we have air supremacy. Everything else is pretty much destroyed. The Israelis have the biggest ground force amassed over there. If anybody’s going to do anything, it’s going to be them. And then you have the Saudi armies. They’re getting their people ready. But I just feel like this is such a cheap attempt for attention. And I’m really done with it. I need her to actually work and stop performing for the cameras. And if that offends anyone, I don’t care. If it offends her, I don’t care. I’m just done with these performative, thirsty ass type of politicians in D.C. who want to run to the camera and are breathless. And I happened to see someone in the DOJ, namely the assistant attorney general for civil rights at the DOJ at the range shooting guns. I have not seen anybody in any administration go to the range and shoot. And I’m like, that’s actually amazing. And like encouraging people. other people to go out, exercise their rights as well. Harmeet Dhillon is that assistant attorney general for civil rights at the U.S. Department of Justice. And she is also an extraordinary knitter. She loves knitting. She makes amazing sweaters and hats. And she’s also a Second Amendment enthusiast. She joins us now via video. It is so good to see you. Thank you so much. And you look like you had a great time at the range, too, I got to say.

I had a great time at the range and we had a great NRA female instructor who helped me and one of my colleagues here, you know, enjoy some different firearms. I took two of my own firearms to the range with me and I really enjoyed the process. I was trying to improve some of my longer range shooting, but I think my aim is pretty good for purposes of lethally harming an intruder to my home if necessary. So we can always get better. And I certainly got a lot of feedback on the quality of my performance from from the Twitterati. Oh, yeah. The bro sphere.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yeah, they’re very and they just need to know that it’s always a good thing when a woman pick and not they they didn’t start out as as, you know, elite shooters either when they first began. The first time they picked up firearms, they also had to work to get to where they are and accumulate that knowledge base. So it’s always exciting and good to see people doing it, especially somebody in the DOJ. It’s amazing. So I’m glad you were able to join us with this. I wanted to ask you because you’ve been you’ve been really putting forward, looking at Second Amendment cases your office has, which is extraordinary to those of us in the 2A community because we have not seen that kind of support in a very, very long time. And it’s nice to see the pushback on this. And I was just looking at the number of cases that your office has intervened in, and it made me wonder, too, One of the big things that I that I keep hearing about is the ATF and the pistol brace rule, because, as you know, and I think The Washington Times had a piece on this just this week where they were talking about that 2023 court ruling that really struck down the rule on pistol braces. But apparently the ATF is still enforcing it. They’re trying to dance around the language of it, but they’ve been sending notices out to people. I’m sure you’re aware of this and I wanted to get your thoughts on this.
SPEAKER 10 :
So the ATF is under separate management, and I can’t speak for the ATF. I actually heard about this very issue on Monday this week from someone from Gun Owners of America who we ran into at the Supreme Court on a completely different matter where we were watching that important case on the voting day. And I know people are frustrated with that. I will say that ATF, I think it’s well known that ATF is coming out with a package of new regulations. All of that takes notice and comment time. We’re also awaiting the confirmation of our deputy director over there. And so it’s a whole process. I want to just say on behalf of the Civil Rights Division, I really have the luxury of really only doing affirmative litigation. So I don’t have to defend laws that Congress passes, whether we like them or not. I get to attack state regulations and laws that are inconsistent with the Second Amendment, particularly under Supreme Court precedent. We’ve done a ton of that. And so that’s like kind of the more creative side. I know some of our other work has been, you know, of less popularity at times. But, you know, people have to understand that when you’re the attorney general, you have a duty to enforce the laws. And when state attorneys general, like when Kamala Harris in California simply refused to follow the law, I thought that was a breach of her oath. And I said that. So I think people need to understand that really the place to go if you don’t like our gun laws is to Congress to change them. And they can and should do a better job of harmonizing law with reality.
SPEAKER 12 :
Yes, they can. And they definitely should as well. I know that you I was reading, too, how you got involved in the Virgin Islands, the police department for they because they were essentially denying people permits, which, you know, you can’t you can’t deny a permit. I mean, you have to the way that the Rube Goldberg machine that they were making people go through just to exercise their rights on that. Where does that stand? Because I know that was back in December.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, so we filed a lawsuit. They have to respond by a certain date. They’ve responded. We’re now going forward with litigation. Similar things are happening in some of our other litigation cases. For example, we’re in discovery in our California case, challenging Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, really slow rolling, like three-year waits to get your permit over there. And Massachusetts has a law. We just sued Massachusetts and they just moved to dismiss our case. Massachusetts makes it a requirement for gun manufacturers or whoever’s trying to get guns on the permitted list to apply for each one separately. And then they have to go through this process. And it’s just crazy all of these states hawaii is another one we found an amicus brief from the wolford case where they’re effectively trying to ban people from being able to practically carry their firearms all day by having a presumption that you’re not allowed to carry it on private property which is opposite of the law in the united states generally in presumption so You know, in each of these cases, you know what’s going on, Dana. These are states are trying to kind of pocket veto the ability of people to enjoy the rights that the Supreme Court has guaranteed to us or announced that we’re entitled to under the Second Amendment, under natural law even, I believe, ruin Heller and other decisions. Now, not everyone is doing that. I mean, I got my permit here, concealed carry permit in D.C. in six days from the time that I applied after I got my training certificate. And it’s not because they knew I was a VIP or something. I didn’t announce that. I just went in and I saw other people getting their permits quickly. I asked about that. We have sued D.C. because D.C. has a categorical ban on so-called assault rifles. So I cannot have an AR-15 legally in D.C. We’ve challenged that and hope to be able to resolve that case as well for all D.C. residents.
SPEAKER 12 :
Oh, that would be great because I know there’s a it’s always tricky traveling to D.C. because, you know, unless you apply and go through it, you can’t you can’t carry in there. And it feels like they’re they would be very eager to prosecute that if you ran afoul of that law. We’re talking to the assistant attorney general for civil rights at the DOJ, Harmeet Dhillon, which brings me to Virginia. That has happened really fast. That has just been a flurry of not just bad laws proposed, but also a lot of really bad anti Second Amendment law as well. And I think it really took everybody by surprise how quickly they were pushing this through. Do you find that you’re probably going to be getting involved in Virginia with some of the stuff that they’re proposing?
SPEAKER 10 :
Oh, definitely. I mean, I have been monitoring it. I don’t believe the governor has signed it as yet, the package of bills, but she will. She’s a leftist and she doesn’t like guns or gun rights, you know, former CIA operative. And so she’s all about big government. And so she’ll sign that. And then we’ll end up challenging it. I’m hiring up and staffing up in our Second Amendment section. And so if anyone watching this is a lawyer who’s passionate about these issues or they’re passionate about them in general, we can train them up for these issues. But we’ve actually hired some great career lawyers here who come from the Second Amendment a national association of gun rights lawyers joined our team this week, Barry Arrington. And so we’re really excited to have that expertise on board. We want to develop that expertise because when this administration is done, we’d like to have a whole cadre of lawyers who are trained in enforcing these laws all over the country. We’re grateful for the private litigation that happens. We join those cases, but we’re bringing our own lawsuits as well. And I hear from lawmakers. I just had a good conversation with Congresswoman Boebert yesterday about Colorado’s gun laws. That’s on our radar. New York has a number of different wacky laws on the radar, New Jersey, et cetera. So we’re gonna get to all of them. We’re just kind of staffing up and balancing voting and DEI issues and investigating medical schools and all the things we do here in the Civil Rights Division.

I love the attention that is being given to this because it really does feel like a department that’s actually working on behalf of the people that, you know, vote for the administration instead of, you know, creating these laws that are pretty restrictive that we’re all kind of living under. We’re talking with Harmey Dillon and you mentioned New York as well. This kind of brings me. To a thought. And tell me if this is kind of outside of the scope, too, of your specific role. But you were talking about some of these some of these laws that are really restrictive and don’t make sense. Like in New York, there was a gentleman named Dexter Taylor who is a hobbyist. I know I’m sure you’re familiar with him. He built firearms.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes, I am.
SPEAKER 12 :
New York changes their laws, and then now suddenly he runs afoul of a law that’s technically nationally, according to the ATF even, and according to so many other states, it’s protected if you’re a hobbyist, so long as you’re not selling it, which he wasn’t. He hadn’t even fired any of them. When you have that contradiction between the national law and the state law, especially when it’s a newer state law, how is that handled? How does that get resolved?
SPEAKER 10 :
that’s a really difficult case uh derek dexter taylor’s case is a case of a ghost gun manufacturer at home and he was prosecuted under uh new york law in new york state and generally speaking we have very limited ability almost no ability really to challenge state prosecutions it’s It’s kind of the same issue, the answer that I would give when people are like, well, you know, free Tina Peters or what are you doing about the alternate electors? I mean, there’s a reason why the left uses their state courts to prosecute these things in state court, because it’s a totally different sovereign system. So, you know, at this point in time, I haven’t been able to see a creative way to address that issue. But, you It’s a concern. So one of the problems with this patchwork of laws all over the country is that it is really hard to figure out what’s going to happen when you cross the state line or if somebody has an overzealous interpretation. So I’d love to see a national reciprocity law get passed by Congress. Personally, I’d like to not have to worry about what happens when I cross from here to visit my mom in North Carolina and have to cross over Virginia. And I have a permit here. You can enjoy weapons in North Carolina. What happens in Virginia? this is a real problem and Congress needs to address it.
SPEAKER 12 :
I love that you’re taking point on so many of these issues, talking with Harmeet Dhillon. So what is your, because I love how you’re staffing, you’re talking about pulling from the 2A community. What is your ultimate goal? By the time when you leave office, what do you want to have accomplished in your role? Because you’re coming up on your one year anniversary.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yes, next week. So here’s what I would love to say. I would love to say that every state regulation that at a minimum is inconsistent with Bruin be struck down or settled with the United States and withdrawn. So that’s, I think, going to end up happening in the Virgin Islands. Their law is blatantly at odds. California. Massachusetts and others. And then you’re going to get into some of these things like we don’t have a national ruling as yet from the Supreme Court on AR-15s. We do have some very good hints. I mean, just, you know, semi-automatic rifles generally, which are the most popular types of rifles in the United States. We have very good language from Justice Thomas on that. I went to the Seventh Circuit and argued that Illinois’ assault weapons ban, so-called assault weapons ban, is unconstitutional based on Heller, Bruin, and the line of Rahimi and the line of authorities. And we haven’t gotten a ruling yet. That was like, I think six months ago, more than six months ago that I argued that. So they’re obviously trying to wait and see what happens, but eventually they’re going to have to issue a ruling. Supreme court, I think is likely this current court to extend their jurisprudence to say that the popular and widely enjoyed and non-military, um, semi-automatic rifles that we enjoy in the United States in many jurisdictions are presumptively legal under the second amendment. That would be my prediction. And so I’d love to be that, that be the legacy that we have more gun owners. We have more women out there enjoying these gun rights and get enthusiastic about it. And just, you know, more education, obviously, you know, people have to learn how to use them safely and, and, and all of that. That’s important. I went to the range again, despite all the online bullying I got after the, social media posts you mentioned at the beginning. I went to the FBI range last week and had an enjoyable shoot with some FBI instructors over there. And so I continue to try to get better and learn more. And I encourage everyone out there to do the same because we’re in a golden era of this right being recognized by the high court. People need to vote. Everyone who’s interested and invested in the gun community understand that the left would like to destroy all of these rights by packing the Supreme Court, by passing federal gun laws that reverse the laws that we’ve enjoyed. We really need to fight against that by enjoying those First Amendment rights to go out there and vote.

I love it. And I love that you have such a clear focus and you’re really getting a lot of ground on this. And I love, again, that you shoot. And for all the people that were critical of technique, you know what? They were like that even with me when I first started shooting. You’re going to have that crowd. There’s twice, if not triple, the amount of people who appreciate the curiosity and the genuine yearning for that knowledge. And that should be celebrated. And I think that should be rewarded. And I think it’s awesome. So we love having you as a sister in the 2A community. And if ever you want to come to Texas and you want to try those skills aerially, maybe go on a hog hunt because there are invasive critters down here. You’re always welcome. All right. So a Florida again, another hatchet, a Florida man with a hatchet was killed by an officer in Lake County, Florida. It happened overnight in a neighborhood. The guy was shot and killed early Wednesday morning. He was confronted by officers. He crashed into a home in the neighborhood and then. apparently slammed his pickup truck into the, ran the pickup truck into the garage, damaged part of the house. When officers responded, they found a man walking away from the scene of the crash carrying a hatchet. They ordered him to stop. He wasn’t going to stop. And he goes, I just want to go home. And he wouldn’t listen. And it got worse and accelerated quickly. And yeah, that’s sad. I mean, that’s took his hatchet and went home. Let’s see here. I also have… Oh, this is kind of funny. So this comes from WANK. A Florida man is accused of stealing a Porsche that he was hired to deliver. So he was hired to deliver this car across country, and now he’s accused of taking it for a joyride in southwest Florida. It was a brand-new Porsche that he was supposed to take to Michigan. He was driving it around Lee Acres, Florida. This victim hired the shipping company to transport two Honda scooters in a 2026 Porsche, and they arranged it through a company called U-Ship. And the guy thought, OK, well, you know, they got these ratings, so I’ll use them. But he said he stopped a couple of days into it. He said he stopped hearing from the driver and started getting alerts from his car. So he got a ping on the app and it said his car was moving. And he said, I didn’t really think a lot of it at the time. Then I got several more pings from the app and they showed that the vehicle wasn’t just being transported. It was being actually delivered. So it wasn’t on a trailer headed to Michigan. It was being driven by this guy around the acres before it was tracked down at the DMV. The driver, Alfonso Avila, he told investigators he took it off the trailer because it was more convenient than his personal car while he went to get a new license. The driver did tell driver of the car told officers he left Wednesday from Fort Myers, went to Miami, and he was planning on putting that on a container ship. And then they found the trailer with two of the scooters still inside. Everything else was returned. Yeah. So that’s. I mean, at least he got the car back and it wasn’t hurt. But I’m curious. I hope he didn’t damage it or do anything. I mean, that’s just that’s just lame. Somebody else is driving your stuff that you worked hard for. So he faces three counts, this guy of grand theft. So, yeah, a man drove through a vehicle or drove a vehicle through a gate at a Florida airport. But then and then he tried getting on a moving plane. Daytona Beach International Airport. He attempted to enter multiple airplanes. How did he even get on the tarmac? How do you even get that far? 58-year-old was, quote, highly intoxicated. Drunk Brian Parker of Holly Hill. Personnel indicated that the vehicle plowed through the gate headed towards the Embry-Riddle section of the airport. He approached an occupied running airplane, tried to board it. He was unsuccessful because the plane had already been locked. He made two more attempts before he actually got on an unoccupied plane. How does that even happen? So he apparently wasn’t on it for that long, though. Airport operations and security took him into custody. Yeah, they I mean, that was incredibly serious. He almost hit another plane that was taxing. So they had to replace the gate with a temporary fence. The FBI is investigating. So that’s just I can’t even believe he was able to actually even get on an unoccupied plane. Like, clearly, are they watching this stuff? I don’t know. A man accused of regularly throwing glass bottles from a Miami high-rise is facing now deadly missile charges. I didn’t know you could do that. I mean, why would you throw a glass bottle from a high-rise, number one, in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood? This 51-year-old man faces 48 felony charges. Police officers arrested him for regularly throwing glass beer bottles from a 41st floor balcony. And he threw so many that the building management and a detective all got involved to investigate it. Thankfully, they didn’t hit anybody, but they could have. So as a result, now he faces 24 counts of shooting or throwing a deadly missile and 24 counts of criminal mischief of $1,000 or more. They said they have about $140,000 in property damage and other expenses. And they had to purchase and install a net and surveillance cameras just to get him to stop. Why couldn’t you get evicted? At that point, I mean, I would think that that would be enough just cause. Right. So he’s going to court. But that’s insane for no like just just to do it for no reason, really. That’s I can’t. I mean, thankfully, he didn’t hurt anybody or kill anybody. Let’s see. And I got last but not least. What? No, no, I’ve got several. I’m just trying to figure out which is the most appropriate one. I mean, I guess they could do the woman who yelled tourist before ramming into a cyclist with her minivan. The victim, who was not a tourist, according to police, was hospitalized. Lisa Sacco, 57, thought that a couple riding their bikes near her were tourists, 27- and 38-year-old. So she started following them and honking them from her Toyota Sienna. And they were yelling for her to move over. I don’t know if she was trying to get around them or what. It kind of sounds like that. And then she screamed tourist at them. She was honking at them through two stop signs. apparently. They arrested her leaving the scene of a crash and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Dana here, folks.
