In this week’s episode of The Mike Gallagher Show, we delve into the tumultuous terrain of American politics, where the stakes have never been higher. The looming possibility of a government shutdown hangs over the Capital, driven by partisan demands and ideological clashes. Meanwhile, we explore the fervent loyalty and personal stories of those navigating this profound political landscape, including the dramatic mayoral race in New York City featuring Curtis Sliwa. As Curtis faces insurmountable odds, Mike grapples with the conflict of standing by his friend versus the practicalities of political strategy.
SPEAKER 06 :
From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 07 :
We’re in for a big week. We’ve got the possibility of a government shutdown looming. And, of course, the Democrats want to shut down the government because they think it’s going to reflect badly on Trump and the Republicans. The Democrats, of course, demanding free health care for illegals and all kinds of ridiculous demands. And, look, Trump gives two craps about what they’re doing right now. It is absolutely you-know-what to the walls. It is wheels off. Full steam ahead. He’ll start laying people off left and right. They will fire thousands of federal government employees. And maybe that’s exactly the wake-up call that the other side needs. I wouldn’t play too many games with this guy because he’s not in any mood to play games. And for the record… As you hear about the Jimmy Kimmel’s and the, you know, all the lunatics on the left who make you think that we’re in some kind of a dystopian, weird dictatorship with a crazed president. Real clear politics is a pretty neutral polling aggregate, the RCP average of polls. You want to know where Trump is today? in terms of his approval rating, he’s more popular than Barack Obama was 250 days into Obama’s second term. You want to know where Trump compares to George W. Bush? He’s more popular than George W. Bush was 250 days into their second term. Trump is more popular today. I’m not under any illusion that he’s got a 90% approval rating. I get it. There are people that still hate him largely thanks to a crazed media. A media that lies. Democrats who lie. Did you see Kamala on her book tour claiming that her loss to Trump was the closest presidential election in history? What in the world… gives her the prerogative to regurgitate such a damnable, provable lie. Do you think she forgot the Bush-Gore race? She thinks her losing every single swing state and the popular vote made it the closest race in the history of America? But nobody challenges her on that. The mainstream media isn’t, they’re in bed with the, although the Washington Post isn’t, quite enamored with Kamala Harris anymore. Oh, boy. They did an editorial denouncing her that, I mean, they’ve just bailed on her. They’ve just completely bailed on her. Now, I want to tackle something that is real painful for me. It’s painful because I treasure loyalty. I value loyalty. Years ago, when I started out in the syndication business, and we started out with a dozen radio stations in America, then we got to 50, then we got to 100. Now we’re, I think, close to 400 radio stations around the country that carry the Mike Gallagher show. And radio stations would, as the radio business goes, would add us. Sometimes they’d drop us. And it always got to me when a station would drop me because it always felt like the harder I worked for the station, the more apt I was to get dumped. South Bend, Indiana comes to mind. I’ll never forget that story. We were going to get canceled by the South Bend station. I said, look, don’t cancel. They were going to put on some sports show or something. I said, don’t. We love being in South Bend. Let me come out and pay a visit to the market and try to save this station. And they were nice about it. They said, sure, come on out. And I came to South Bend. We had a party. And it was a bar run by, like a sports bar, a restaurant run by cops. And we just had an informal, like a pop-up visit. At that restaurant, hundreds of people showed up. And the station changed their mind. And they hung in with me. And I was so happy. Moral of the story, they wound up dumping me anyway. It never mattered. No loyalty. There was no loyalty. And they were such nice people. Of course, they had bosses, too. I’ll never forget that. Bob and Sally had a dinner at the general manager’s house. I mean, they were all nice people. But they had a boss, and I suspect whoever the parent company was didn’t like me. Okay. You know, people don’t like me. I get it. But I always remember feeling burned because I was so loyal to them. We flew to South Bend. We did it all on our dime. It was our effort. We tried so hard, did commercials for them, did whatever they wanted. And they wound up dumping us anyhow. There is no loyalty anymore, and I treasure loyalty. So me believing that my friend Curtis Sliwa should drop out of the mayor’s race in New York City… rips me apart. Curtis is a force of nature. The founder of the Guardian Angels, survivor of an assassination attempt by the mob. There is no figure in America, in my view, that is as compelling and tough and street smart And loving, this guy’s got a big heart. He and his wife, they’ve got an apartment full of cats and dogs. They rescue animals. But he’s tough as nails. And in a perfect world, he’d be a great mayor for New York City. Statistically, he cannot win. Unless Andrew Cuomo drops out, I guess. It doesn’t appear Cuomo’s going anywhere. But over the weekend, Eric Adams made a big announcement. Here’s his departing message. The current mayor of New York City, who was kicked out, you know, cast out of the Democrat club because he agreed with Trump largely on immigration and the deportation efforts underway, and they turned on him. Here he is announcing officially an end to his re-election campaign.
SPEAKER 02 :
It has been my honor to be your mayor. My story is your story. I lived the struggle, but I never stopped loving this city. That is why I ran for mayor, to turn my pain into purpose. And I will keep fighting for the city, no matter what, from City Hall or beyond, because I am a New Yorker, and fighting for our city is just what I do. Thank you. God bless New York.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, God bless you, Eric Adams, because you did something really noble. Because you gave New Yorkers a fighting chance to avoid the communists. Because now it’s down to the communists, Zoran Mamdani, Andrew Cuomo, and Curtis Lewa. Now, a lot of good people, people that I admire, A lot of good people. Sid Rosenberg, I was on a panel with him a couple weeks ago in New York. He’s all in for Curtis. Dov Heikin, all in for Curtis. I’m all in for Curtis. Until you look at all of the polling and all the numbers and all the statistical reality of a liberal city like New York City, and you know Curtis likely cannot win under any scenario. I was looking at polling data this morning. That in a head-to-head race, if there’s two people in the race, Zoran Mamdani and Andrew Cuomo, it’s a dead heat. It’s neck and neck. Not so much with Zoran the commie and our friend Curtis Lewa. Now, I want to talk about this on a personal note. I hate this so much because of how much I love Curtis Lewa. I feel like I’m absolutely abandoning my friend. I feel like I’m being disloyal, and I feel rotten about expressing this belief that Curtis needs to withdraw. Now, I posted on social media, on X over the weekend, showing all the polling, and I said, I’m no political strategist, but the answer to stopping Mamdani, the commie, seems pretty clear. Could Cuomo run with Curtis as his co-mayor? Is that even a thing? Look, these are… Cuomo is a political animal. And he might have some tricks up his sleeve. I don’t know. But Curtis Lewa is, again, one of the toughest, strongest, most admirable people I’ve ever met in my life. It feels like if Curtis doesn’t drop out or there isn’t some change made in the way this is unfolding, they’re going to hand the election to the communist, Zoran Mamdani. Give me your take on all of it, please. 800-655-MIKE. We’re in the Relief Factor studios. A little bit later this hour, I want you to meet the lieutenant governor of South Carolina. She’s been on the show before. But look, she’s polling, and she may very well become the frontrunner to be the next governor of South Carolina. And I’m a big Pamela Evatt fan. So you’re going to meet the lieutenant governor of the great state of South Carolina. In just a bit. But in the meantime, you know how I love full lines. I want loaded lines. I want you to call me and give me, first of all, help me with my angst, my personal angst over how I feel like I’m throwing Curtis under the bus. And I hate doing that. I don’t want to do that. I want to be loyal to my friends. And I know what a great guy he is. But I also want what’s right for New York. And I want to see what you think of all of it. Give me your take. 800-655-6453. Call or text. I hope you join us. Ph.D. weight loss has changed my life, and I’ve got a little secret for you. You know Big Pharma and semaglutide and the shots in the belly. SPEAKER 06 :
The Mike Gallagher Show in the ReliefFactor.com studios.
SPEAKER 03 :
Who do you hold responsible for the uptick in left-wing violence? Radical left rhetoric. The radical left is causing the problem. They’re out of control. They’re saying things. And they’re really dumb people. I mean, I look at Crockett. I look at some of these people. They’re… Very low IQ people, actually. But the radical left is causing this problem, not the right, the radical left.
SPEAKER 06 :
In the Relief Factor studios on Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 07 :
Norman in Brooklyn called in to say how he’s extremely tortured by this election. I am, too. That’s what I feel about the New York mayor’s race. Here’s a text message from New York City. Mike, you’re not throwing Curtis under the bus at all. We love him, too. But your friends in South Carolina simply don’t understand the political dynamics of New York City and what Mamdani will do. See, I have a theory about my pals in the Palmetto State because it’s a feisty bunch. opinionated, strong, conservative beliefs and values. And like me, South Carolinians appreciate loyalty. And I certainly feel like I’m being disloyal to my pal Curtis. But I want New York to be spared the agony of a communist in the – I wonder if he’s going to privatize Gracie Mansion like he wants to take over or take all the private property away from people in New York and give it to – make communes. What if they’re going to make a commune out of Gracie Mansion if Zoran Mamdani gets elected? You’ve got to be pragmatic here. And look, people, forces, political forces like Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Lewa have joined forces forever in American politics. If they join forces, maybe, just maybe, New York has a chance to avoid Mamdani the commie. Oh boy. Now, there’s fireworks in New York, but there’s also a fascinating, speaking of South Carolina, a fascinating gubernatorial race unfolding. It’s like there’s five candidates to succeed Henry McMaster, essentially. And right now the polling suggests it’s coming down to Congresswoman Nancy Mace and Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evatt. I’ll be very transparent about my preference. I’ve watched Pamela Evatt for years. She was elected the first female Republican lieutenant governor of South Carolina. She’s a businesswoman. She’s savvy. She’s smart. She’s patriotic. She’s MAGA, as far as I’m concerned. I mean, I hope I’m not speaking out of school here, but I would love to see Pamela Evatt become the next governor of the state of South Carolina. And it just so happens we’re able to welcome the lieutenant governor back to the Mike Gallagher Show. Madam Lieutenant Governor, it’s great seeing you again. I saw you a couple weeks ago at the Hudson Farm. We had a great evening there, that freedom, faith, and family barbecue, and it was great getting to visit with you in person a little bit. How you been?
SPEAKER 01 :
Mike, it’s great to see you, and it was great to see you at Joey’s. That Hudson Farm is quite an establishment over there, and I know it’s your home away from home.
SPEAKER 07 :
You better believe it is. And I have a special place in my heart for South Carolina. And that’s why I’m really interested in this gubernatorial race, because, you know, you have had tremendous, tremendous momentum. I mean, just a couple of months ago, you were like at, I don’t know, 8%, 10%. Now it looks like you’re within striking distance of Nancy Mace. So for the benefit of people who may not know you, not only throughout South Carolina, but the nation, make the case. For why Pamela Evatt, the sort of rock solid, you’re not a big splashy, you know, Nancy Mace kind of headline generating person. I consider you a rock solid person. person who gets it done, you’re extraordinarily accomplished. But let’s face it, Nancy Mace seems to take a lot of the oxygen out of the room, right? She makes a lot of national appearances and she’s fairly provocative and high profile. How hard is it going to be to try to capture people, capture votes and take votes away from her so that you can get elected governor?
SPEAKER 01 :
Mike, you know, what people in South Carolina want is they want a business person at the helm. They want somebody who has signed the front of paychecks, who has employed people, who knows how to make a budget, who knows how to run a business efficiently, because they know that that is what will make government run efficiently, is the know-how to do it. And that’s what we’ve seen with President Trump. You know, so for one, what sets me apart? That’s a great question. I’m a proven business leader. I’m a conservative business leader going against just a litany of career politicians. I’ve been a day one Trump supporter. I was a day one Trump supporter, Mike, and you know this. I was in the private sector running my company. There was no reason except that I knew we needed more business people at the helm. All of my opponents in the race, they jumped on when it was politically in their best interest to do so. January of 23, I was the only person standing with the president here when he came to South Carolina to announce his run for president again. And let me tell you, all those other people were hiding under their bed. But loyalty means something, and the people of South Carolina know that loyalty means something. And last and probably most important, put my resume up against any of my opponents. I have ran a successful business that I started in my home group to a national company. I have the resume to do the job. The rest of them been in politics the majority of their life, never signed the front of a paycheck, or didn’t start their business from themselves. My dad was a great collar guy. He was a tool and die maker. So nothing was given to us. My three older brothers and I, we’ve made it from scratch. So we know how hard it is. And we know what the American dream is about. And that’s what the people of South Carolina want, Mike. That’s what I’m hearing. Somebody that can do the job.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, and, you know, I think the Trump factor is going to be significant. Let’s talk a little bit about that because you’re right. I mean, you and I share the same track record. I’m one of the few national hosts who was with him from the day he came down the golden escalator. A lot of people can’t say that. A lot of people have gone back and forth, and certainly your opponents have done the same thing. They trashed him. They criticized him. Pamela Evatt has been completely consistent in your support for President Trump. What does it take, Lieutenant Governor Evatt, to get a Donald Trump endorsement for this governor’s race?
SPEAKER 01 :
Well, I believe the president respects loyalty and he looks at loyalty and he takes that to heart. And so, you know, I’m going to work really hard. The president, you know, anything he’s ever asked for me, I have done. Traveled with him, raised money for him, have been a loyal supporter. And I think that’ll shine through at the end of the day. I also believe that the president has a lot of important things going on. and maybe not completely focused on this race but you know i’m gonna work really hard um from now until the primary and you know you’re coming up in the polls mike when people start putting false you know ads out there about you so i’m wearing it as a badge of honor and i really believe that the people of south carolina and the people who know me No, I’m in this for all the right reasons. I’m in this to keep South Carolina great. I’m in this because I believe as wonderful of a state as we live in, our best days are probably still ahead of us. And I plan on doing everything I can to make South Carolina continue to grow and prosper so that my children and my grandchildren and everybody else’s children and grandchildren want to stay right here in our state.
SPEAKER 07 :
Pamela Evans is our guest. She’s the lieutenant governor of South Carolina. She’s running for governor, and the polls are showing a very interesting dynamic here where you’re steadily gaining, in fact, pretty dramatically gaining now in the polls, and you’re within striking distance of Nancy Mace. Let’s talk for a moment about the 800-pound elephant in the room. Congresswoman Mace is a provocative figure, pretty controversial figure. There are people who sort of wonder where she’s coming from a lot. She’s hard to gauge, isn’t she? I mean, she’s a very unique character. Do you deal with that as you campaign or you just try to present your own record? How do you handle somebody who’s as high profile as Congresswoman Nancy Mace?
SPEAKER 01 :
Mike, I’m telling you, I am talking to the people about South Carolina about what I can do, right? What I can do for them, what I bring to the table, how I’m going to make their life better right at their kitchen table. I’m talking directly to business owners because they know that I understand what they go through every day. And, you know, the congresswoman can say and do what she wants. I’ve always felt no matter what I’ve ever done, it’s always good to run my own race. And in doing that, I think the people of South Carolina will see right through all the facades of my opponent’s pretending to be something they’re not, or just, like you said, trying to take all the oxygen in the room. People want true leadership. President Trump is a true leader. He took everything he learned in business and brought it to government. That’s exactly what I’m gonna do. He didn’t do it because he needed the job. He did it because the job needed him. And that’s why I’m doing it. Sitting in the private sector, it’s not a bad thing. Nobody attacks you. Nobody attacks your family. You just go about your business. We are at a time in our nation, we’re at a time in our state where we need people who are in the office to do it for the right reasons. To do it because they don’t need to be there. To do it because they have something to offer. To do it because they have the resume. That really is in line with the job. And Mike, from now until June, if I haven’t earned somebody’s vote by now, I’m going to earn it between now and June. I’m traveling all over the state, having a lot of town halls, a lot of meet and greets. I want people to come out and talk to me. I want them to meet me. I want them to shake my hand. I want them to tell me what their concerns are. And I am going to make sure that I continue to do that from now until June.
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, I have a deep admiration and respect for you, and I wish you nothing but the best. I appreciate you taking some time to visit with us here on the Mike Gallagher Show. We’re pulling for you. Keep fighting the good fight, okay?
SPEAKER 01 :
I will, Mike, and I know with friends like you, it’s going to be a long and hard road, but we’re going to be victorious at the end, and I’m going to be so honored to be South Carolina’s next governor.
SPEAKER 07 :
Thank you. Appreciate it. Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evatt joining us here on the Mike Gallagher Show. Lots of great feedback. Look, I agree with her that a businesswoman, anybody that knows how to meet a payroll, this is the Trump magic. This is why the economy continues to soar. This is why we’re seeing smart politicians all over the country get elected who know what it’s like to meet a payroll, who understand the challenges of an economy changing. And, look, I was trying to dance around. I didn’t want to put her on the spot. But Connecticut just sent a text message. Nancy Mace is a little cray-cray. Now, that’s Connecticut. By the way, I hate when people attribute things that a texter says to me. Here’s a text from the upstate of South Carolina. Mike, you say South Carolina voters don’t fully understand New York politics. I didn’t say it. That was an e-mailer. Now, don’t put me in a position of not understanding South Carolina voters, because let me tell you something, I’d rather be in South Carolina than just about anywhere else. Every single day, it’s a joy to remind you that portions of our show are sponsored by MyPillow. As you know, our friend Mike Lindell, big legal victory last week. He’s been in a ton of hot water, as you know, because he believes in election integrity, of course, due to his friendship with President Trump. SPEAKER 07 :
How much do you love the ability of Scott Jennings to walk into a CNN studio every night and take on the panel? I am so grateful that Scott Jennings joined our team. Scott Jennings, a remarkable guy. He’s now, of course, part of the Salem Media Group family. I talked to him over the weekend. I said, Scott, how hard is it to go into that studio and debate? goofballs that have oversized, big, fat, oversized cowboy hats on. There’s nothing wrong with a cowboy hat. But when you wear it on a TV set, you look ridiculous. And Scott and I were texting, and he said, maybe I just need to get a funny hat. I said, please, please don’t. You know, isn’t it rich to watch… Democrats and Trump haters upset about the James Comey indictment, calling it the weaponization of the Justice Department. That is rich. That is rich. You could put the mugshots of all the Republicans, including President Trump, on your wall. You have a whole wall full of scalps that the Democrats think that they’ve obtained. in the way Comey and Brennan and Biden weaponized the Justice Department in order to silence their opponents. And they’re not through yet. I like it when they say the quiet part out loud. I like it when they’re so desperate that they open up their yaps and they admit to just how diabolical they are. You’ve got to hear Eric Swalwell say, this insufferable California congressman. He’s on CNN today. Check out what he said about what a Democrat-led Congress will do to MAGA.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, first, we’re making it clear that we’re going into the majority a year from now. We have every intention to do that. And so we will bring oversight, accountability. We will subpoena the Department of Justice, but also private actors who have done these drug deals with the administration’s college campuses, entertainment companies, law firms. And so accountability is coming. And so, one, it’s all coming out. Two, I hope that deters people from doing more of these deals, these one-offs with the president.
SPEAKER 07 :
It’s like a mafioso. You know, he kind of sounds like the FCC chairman. We can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way. If you stop supporting Donald Trump, maybe we won’t come after you when we take control of Congress. I don’t think they’re going to win. They’ve gone completely off their rockers. I mean, that guy’s unhinged. And that clip, incidentally, is going to get lots of airplay. Because you better be aware that they are coming after everybody they can. if they take control of Congress next year. Incidentally, how popular is Donald Trump right now, today, 250 days into his administration? There’s a little tidbit, a little snippet of data that was released over the weekend that the mainstream media does not want anybody to hear about. It’s called the Real Clear Politics Average of Polling. The RCP polling always believed to be fairly reliable. You know, polls are polls. But check out where George Bush was 250 days into his second term. Are you ready? 43.5% popularity. Check out where Barack Obama was 250 days into his second term. Are you ready? 43.8%. Now check out where Trump is today, 250 days into his second term, 45.3%. Trump is more popular at this point of his presidency than both Barack Obama and George Bush were in the exact same time frame of their second term. Again, look around, folks. Look around at America. America likes what this guy is doing. And to hear Democrats like Swalwell openly threatening private citizens who happen to disagree with him politically gives you an indication of how desperate they are, how scared they are. They may not win another election. And now even with the nice bonus of the redistricting that’s going on, they very well might get wiped off the map politically in November of 2026. Time will tell. Look, there’s a lot of people who are counting on Zoran Mamdani, the communist, getting elected in New York, which will be a disaster for New York City, but it will be a benefit to the Republican Party and Republicans in 49 other states. An actual communist? A guy that wants to do away with private property? A guy who wants to redistribute the wealth? A guy who wants to tax even more than New Yorkers are already being taxed? A guy who hates the police? Who wants to defund the police? And now there’s a terrible, terrible dilemma for those of us who know and love Curtis Lewa. Because over the weekend, Eric Adams dropped out. The sitting mayor is out. Now it’s down to Mamdani the commie, Cuomo the granny killer, and our pal Curtis Lewa. Look, I’ll say the quiet part out loud. Every single conservative pundit, everybody on air, everybody knows that they have to figure out a way to unify. And, you know, instead of talking about Curtis dropping out, we should be focused on Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa joining forces. I mean, can Cuomo announce that Curtis is going to be his co-mayor? Can you give him a huge role in his administration? Of course he could. But if Curtis stays in the race and splits the vote, it will almost inevitably guarantee a Zoran Mamdani election. And that would be horrendous. You know, a lot of people don’t – the country has a love-hate relationship with New York City. A whole bunch of people love to hate New York, hate to love it. But many people around the country have no connection to New York at all. I’ve got family. I’ve got a son in New York. I’ve got staff in New York. I’ve got lots of dear friends in New York. I don’t want to see New York become a hellscape. I don’t want to score political points at the expense of flushing New York down the toilet, which is what Zoran Mamdani will do. And it’s the worst possible scenario. He smiles a lot. He laughs. He makes TikTok videos. Oh, the kids love him. He’s going to give them free bus rides, free everything, free health care for illegals. He’s going to be Trump’s worst nightmare. I want you to hear what this guy actually believes. I want you to hear what a guy who right now is on the precipice of being elected the mayor of New York City. I want you to hear what this guy stands for.
SPEAKER 11 :
Toward the Vienna model, we’ll have to go beyond the market. We can establish community land trusts to gradually buy up housing on the private market and convert it to community ownership. We can give tenants the right of first refusal to buy out their landlords when buildings go up for sale. And we can fully commit to a new era of social housing, ending subsidies for luxury housing development and using our wealth to build beautiful, high-quality social housing projects that offer good homes and strong communities to everyone. We won’t decommodify housing overnight.
SPEAKER 07 :
But we know what we have to do. Yep, you sure do. And he says it with a smile. All that communist crap with a smile. Look at me. I’m grinning as I talk about confiscating private property and turning it into communes. Oh, my gosh. I cannot even believe. I cannot even believe that we’re having this conversation. 800-655-MIKE. Craig’s in Naples, Florida. 16 past the hour. Hey, Craig, how are you? I’m doing good, Mike. How are you? I’m pretty good. I’m just tortured over this New York City race.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, you know, I heard the woman that you picked on, and I’m kind of on her team only, two different things. the one that you picked on, and I don’t know why you picked on her. I didn’t pick on her.
SPEAKER 07 :
Would you knock it off with a pick on the emotional crap? I don’t agree with her, but I also said I understand where she’s coming from. You’re talking about a caller who called and said that a shame on you, Mike, that you stabbed your friend Curtis Sliwa in the back. How about her picking on me, Craig?
SPEAKER 09 :
If I could have friends like you, Mike, I wouldn’t want anything. And so here’s the two things you haven’t considered. Number one is asking your audience to pray that things will change.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes. Number two. I say that regularly. I say that on an hourly basis. And you know what? And you know it. I’m not done. By the way, and you know it. You know I believe in the power of prayer. But you know the story about the guy on the roof with the floods coming? I do know that guy. Just give me a minute. You’ve got plenty of time here. Don’t interrupt me, please. Okay, thank you. You interrupted me. No, you called me, and it’s my show. I’m going to say what I want to say, and don’t tell me with friends like you, Craig. Don’t give me that crap and tell me I picked on, oh, the poor little old lady who said I’m 70 years old in California.
SPEAKER 09 :
You’re throwing Curtis under the bus. All you’ve got to do is put him on the air every day between now and election. Okay. You put them on the air every day between now and then pray, and then things will change. It won’t move the needle, Craig. You’re being helped. Not for a person that believes that it won’t. What is it they say?
SPEAKER 07 :
If you believe it will or it won’t, you’ll be right. Right. And so when the communist wins, what are you going to say then, Craig? You’re going to say, oh, well, we didn’t pray hard enough? Come on, you shouldn’t.
SPEAKER 09 :
But when he wins and you supported the killer, what are you going to say?
SPEAKER 07 :
Craig, look, let’s take this down a little bit. He can’t win, Craig. He cannot win. Well, not if you believe like you do. He can’t win. But it has nothing to do with believing. You’re sitting around saying that this is like throwing coins into a wishing well. You’ve got to put your big boy pants on here, Craig. There’s nothing easy about this. And believe me, you know how I feel about Cuomo. But my gosh, do you care there in Naples, Florida, sitting there on the water, what happens to New York City?
SPEAKER 08 :
Do you care? I’m not sitting on the water. Do you care? I’m an executive recruiter. Do you care what happens in New York?
SPEAKER 07 :
Do you care what happens to New York City? Or do you want Mom Donnie? Do you want Mom Donnie to win? All right. All right. So do you want Mom Donnie to win in order to prove a point about how more effective our policies are than lunatics on the left? Is that part of your passion?
SPEAKER 09 :
No, my passion is that God put me on the phone for a half hour. I got disconnected in the grocery store, and he told me to call you back and let you know if you give the guy airtime every day, he’s got a shot. With God, all things are possible. With Mike, you know, sometimes things are possible.
SPEAKER 07 :
And I’m so grateful that you have so much confidence in my show that you think if I made Curtis my co-host, he’ll get elected. He cannot win. Will it hurt? He can’t. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me. You’re interrupting me again, and I’m not going to interrupt you. Go ahead. Okay. If you understood. Let me try this. If you understood what everybody knows in the world, evidently except you, that he can’t win. And my… Wasn’t that true, Trump? You didn’t let… Wasn’t that true, Trump? You’re not letting me finish, and you’re interrupting again. Okay, go ahead. If you understood somehow… You had a crystal ball, and you saw what everybody sees, that he can’t win. But yet, if Cuomo and Curtis could join forces, and the two of them could absolutely sail into victory and beat the communists from winning… Wouldn’t that be preferable than Curtis and Cuomo? If you knew, just hypothetically, humor me for a minute, that Curtis can’t win. Isn’t it better for Curtis and Cuomo to join forces so that Mamdani can be stopped?
SPEAKER 09 :
If I knew, that would be true.
SPEAKER 07 :
But that’s not what I’ve been told in my spirit. Okay, I got it. I got it. I appreciate that. And look, I appreciate your heart. I understand your passion. The truth of the matter is, every single person with a microphone and a TV camera knows Curtis can’t win. I’m telling you. But they love the guy like I do. They support him like I do. And they know New York would absolutely be in good hands with Curtis. If he can’t win, you’ve got to have a plan B, Craig. If he can’t win, you’ve got to come up with something. And the best something would be that Cuomo and Curtis can join forces and Cuomo and Curtis can team up to beat this guy. That’s the only chance they’ve got. What if he could win? He can’t. If you helped. He can’t.
SPEAKER 09 :
If you helped more.
SPEAKER 07 :
He can’t.
SPEAKER 09 :
He can’t. When you believe he can’t, you won’t do all you can do.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay. Well, what I don’t want to see is New York get flushed out.
SPEAKER 09 :
Grandpa Casey would be rolling over in his grave right now to hear the little faith that you have about how God could change things. Humanly, you’re right. There’s no way he can win from a human perspective. Correct. But from a godly perspective, enough people seek out God. It’s going to take place.
SPEAKER 07 :
And you’ll have your miracle.
SPEAKER 09 :
And you’ll have been the guy that helped make it take place.
SPEAKER 07 :
But now you’re the guy that’s thrown your friend under the bus. There’s a lot of things that God, you know how much I believe in the power of prayer. I think it’s reprehensible. And I’m going to tell you this, as a man of faith as you are, The absolute arrogance with which you’re throwing me under the bus when you know how painful this is for me. You know Curtis and I are friends. And you know what I’ve done? And you’re interrupting me again. You know damn well that because I exposed some vulnerability that I have on this, you’re piling on. Shame on you, Craig. Shame on you. Shame on you. That’s what you did to the woman. That’s what you did. Oh, yeah. Goodbye. I got it. I got it. And look, the passion that people are feeling right now, I absolutely resent ever exposing how I feel about being tortured by this awful, awful choice. This is a terrible situation in New York. And I’m telling you to sit around and say, well, as long as we pray enough, as long as we, you know, look, I’m praying relentlessly. I am praying without ceasing for our country. We got a darkness in this country and we got to defeat this darkness and we got to do it wisely and we got to do it smartly. Craig, I appreciate your faith. And look, you keep praying for me. I’ll keep praying for you.
SPEAKER 06 :
The Mike Gallagher Show in the ReliefFactor.com studios.
SPEAKER 04 :
I think other government officials are in danger of being indicted in the coming weeks. Some in the FBI, some in other parts of the government. This is the beginning of a large accountability roundup in government. If you’re a member of Congress and you’ve been tired of being lied to by the FBI, tonight’s the first time the FBI actually did something about it. They turned in their own man tonight. I think that’s an extraordinary part of this story.
SPEAKER 06 :
On Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 07 :
You know, one of the other aspects, of course, of where this race in New York stands is we are just about into October. We’re a little over a month away from the election. There’s not a whole lot of time left. Let me quickly tell you the story, the parable of the guy on the roof with the floods. And it’s actually… A very important lesson because I do bristle at somebody suggesting that I don’t believe in the power of prayer. Prayer can move mountains. And with God, anything is possible. But I keep thinking about Joseph and Traveler’s Rest and the text message on the MyPillow text line. Maybe it’s God’s plan. For Eric Adams to drop out of the race so that Curtis can be sort of pushed into joining forces, possibly with Cuomo. And that’s what I’d love to see happen. A Cuomo-Sliwa administration. Why is that idea such a horrible idea if Curtis can’t win? I’ve always loved this story of the parable. This is obviously hypothetical or this is an imaginary story, but it’s a good lesson. It’s a good lesson in life. Floods came to a man’s small town. And the guy, everybody was told to evacuate the town. The guy said, I don’t want to evacuate the town. I want to stay with my house. I trust in God. I’m going to pray that God will spare me from drowning in the flood. So he goes up on the roof, and the floods come along, and the floodwaters start rising, and the floodwaters start rising. And a guy comes by in a boat to rescue him. The guy on the roof says, nope, I don’t need to be rescued. I’m praying to God that he will save me, and I have faith that God won’t let me drown. And the guy on the Boat goes, okay. Drives and pulls away. The floodwaters get higher and higher. Another person comes by in another rowboat to rescue the guy. Guy says, nope, I’m not going to leave. I’m praying to God. He’s going to save me. God will rescue me. Guy said, okay, see you later. Now the floodwaters are coming all the way out of the top of the roof. The poor guy is up on the eave of the roof. His feet are getting wet. Another boat comes along with a rescuer. Guy says, nope. I’m not going to leave. Sorry. Thanks for coming, but I trust in God. I have my faith in the Lord, and I’m praying that he will save me. The guy says, okay, good luck. Pulls off. Of course, the floods overtake the house. The man gets swept away, and he drowns in the flood. He gets to the gates of heaven. He’s standing before the throne, and he looks up at God and says, God, I had faith in you. I trusted in you. I prayed to you. I knew that with you, all things are possible. And even though I was told to get out, that I was probably going to drown, I knew if I prayed, you were going to save me, and you didn’t. Why? And God said, Son, I sent you three rowboats. I love that story. I mean, that’s kind of where we are in this awful kind of situation in New York City. Where these A1 personalities, Cuomo, Curtis, there’s a lot of ego involved. These are strong, you know, dynamic kind of personalities. And they are no shrinking violet. Neither one of them. Sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do to make the best you can out of lemons. But I do, of course, believe in prayer, and I continue to pray that the right outcome will occur, not only for New York, but for our country.
