SPEAKER 08 :
The Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 06 :
This is Donald Trump chooses the deal. He chooses the deal. And then we go implement that deal. And the Japanese are saying in order to buy our tariff down from 25 to 15, here’s 550 car companies, our car companies.
SPEAKER 01 :
I heard some grumbling from some of our friends over at some of the big car companies.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, you know, when you’re so in love with charging the other guy 25 percent and you only charge him 15. By the way, before April 2nd, you know, we were charging him.
SPEAKER 08 :
In the Relief Factor studios on Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 07 :
When we started our Food for the Poor campaign to help the Texas flooding victims, I had no idea you’d step up. Oh, I did. I always have it in my heart, but then my head says, oh, we’re going to fall short. Gallagher’s going to fall short. Food for the Poor is a beautiful Christian ministry that does so much good work around the world. And after these horrible floods hit in Texas, they immediately sprung into action. It was another weekend of 100-degree heat for relief workers and first responders. Survivors are grieving the loss of those dozens of young children and others who were swept away by the flooding. But thanks to you, we are right now officially, get this, $13,000 away. from raising $100,000 in just a couple of short weeks for our Food for the Poor campaign. $50 will send an emergency relief kit to the people in Texas who are still struggling. $50. $100 will bless two families. $200 will bless four families. But whatever you can afford, please go to MikeOnline.com and make your contribution. You can make a donation to help us rush these emergency relief kits to ease the crisis facing these flooded-out residents. You could also phone in your gift. Doing it online is fun because you can see the total as it continues to rise. And it says right now on the screen $73,000 raised. Add $15,000 thus far in phone donations that don’t get added into the posted online total. So we’re really at like $87,000, $88,000. We’re almost to $100,000. What a blessing that would be if we could get to $100,000. And this is what I love about my job. We get to come in here together, you and me. We try to make sense of it all. We try to get to the bottom of everything. We celebrate the great things. We go through the struggles together. We’ve been through it all together. 9-11 in the Empire State Building, you and me, many of you still with me. COVID, the pandemic. Good news. The destruction of Osama bin Laden. There’s been highs and lows, but getting to do this a few times a year just fills me with such gratitude, a spirit of such… that this audience continues to bless so many people. So see what you can do. Please do your part. Go to MikeOnline.com. Click on that banner there, the Help Texas Flood Victims banner, or just call 844-860-HOPE, 844-860-4673. And thank you, thank you, thank you for blessing these families. We’re just so, again, I’ll bet you we’ll get to 100,000. Nothing’s going to slow us down. Something seems to be rattling Dan Bongino. If you’re just joining us, we’re talking about what he posted over the weekend on X on Saturday as we continue here from the Relief Factor studios in Kirkland, Washington, where later today I’m going to be meeting with the folks from the Longevity Medical Clinic. the Longevity Medical Clinic, because I’m 65 and I only want to go until 103. I’ll be okay if I can cash in my chips at 103. So that’s the plan here that I’m embarking on as I learn about the Longevity Medical Clinic here in Kirkland, Washington. Something rattled Dan Bongino. On Saturday, he said he has seen things in his capacity as deputy director of the FBI today that have shaken him to the very core. Here was an MSNBC senior reporter. I know we don’t like playing a lot of clips from that place. It gives me a little bit of heartburn. As they say in New York, it gives you agita. This will give me a little agita, but I’m going to play it anyway. This is senior reporter Brandi Zadrozny reacting to Dan Bongino’s cryptic social media post.
SPEAKER 03 :
But he seems to be, I will say, given the reporting and also his own sort of public commentary, he does seem to be very rattled in his role. Like, he’s gone from being this guy at a podcast, Mike, who was very confident in the stuff he was spreading and engaging in on that platform, to getting into this role where he was supposed to help dismantle the deep state, to now he seems a little… Genuinely rattled, I guess, and concerned about whatever he’s experiencing in his role. What do you think is going on there?
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, God. He once called me the dumbest woman in news, so I want to be really clear about my bias here. Listen, podcasting for the MAGA base is the sweetest gig you can get. It is. It’s just hot. And he had the sauce and everybody loved him. And he was promising all this stuff. And it was like, great. And now he is in the FBI. And as he described it, he misses his wife. He does not like working all the time. And now he’s in this impossible.
SPEAKER 03 :
That was his word. Oh, my goodness. And you need to say working in the FBI is harder than yapping in front of a microphone at home?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I guess so. And now he’s in this, I mean, poor guy. He is in a special pickle now because he’s in this place where his fans are like, wait a minute, you know, record scratch, where are the things that you were going to unearth? And he promised all of this and then he got in and then, you know, the memo came out and everyone was like, what happened to Dan?
SPEAKER 07 :
I have to give Brandy a little credit. Since Bongino called her the dumbest woman in news, as she admitted, she was fairly objective. I mean, she could have gone scorched earth. If somebody calls me the dumbest talk show host on the planet, I don’t know that I’d be that gracious. But she was fairly gracious. Got to give her a little bit of credit. And everybody is sort of wondering what Bongino is talking about. I want to take a couple more calls on what you think it might be. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Florida writes on the MyPillow text line, the Biden auto pen situation brings to mind the auto pen machine with the airplane movie. autopilot seated behind the auto pen at the executive desk. That’s an image I don’t think any of us need to think about. Kara is in Eugene, Oregon, not too far from where we’re seated right now here in Kirkland. Hi, Kara. Welcome aboard. How are you?
SPEAKER 02 :
Hi. I’m all right, thank you. Now, considering this is just a fun, not so fun, but a guessing game, a parlor game, we’re really just guessing. I know. I think it might have something to do with how incredibly difficult it is to untangle the large entrenched knot. Yeah, is the swamp. But but how much we basically how much we are entrenched or owned by some large entities such as China. But I keep trying to think of the initials of the group of people that want to run the earth under one leadership. And that’s what I’m really thinking about. Well, you know, but you’ve also— I keep coming up with World Health Organization, WHO. IMF.
SPEAKER 07 :
It could be IMF. It could be WHO. But you know what I think it might be, too, Cara? You’ve touched on something that I think makes a lot of sense. And this is what—here’s my theory, and then I’ve got other stuff to get to. We’ve got a ton of breaking news. I mean, this story over the weekend, we can’t let this go and make sure you’re not aware, because I don’t know how much the legacy media is going to focus on great, great news for this country. But this trade deal with the European Union is massive. It’s historic. It is over the top. And we’re going to share that with you here in just a moment. But my theory about what Dan Bongino has discovered is just how profoundly entrenched the deep state is to our lives. If we think about what they tried to do to Trump in his first term, what they’ve tried to do to Trump for years now, You don’t do this without a concerted machine. I think Bongino is recognizing the depth, the breadth, the intensity of what I often call the beast. And the beast is real. Evil is real. Talk about that every day. And we are continually facing a battle between good and evil. I want to share with you what Chris Matthews – remember him? He had a couple of positive things to say about Trump’s poll numbers and Trump’s political skills. You’re going to want to hear that. That’s going to put a smile on your face, just like Relief Factor puts a smile on your face. Relief Factor is something I discovered years ago, and this is kind of neat because it just dawned on me driving into the offices this morning here in Kirkland, Washington, and I always – Forget, every time I come back to this part of the country, how beautiful it is up here and how wonderful it is to actually for the first – you know, every day I say I’m in the Relief Factor studios. Now, you understand how naming rights works, right? So everywhere I go, I’m in the Relief Factor studios. I can be in Florida. I can be in New York City. I can be in South Carolina. I’m in the Relief Factor studios. Today’s the first day I’m literally in the Relief Factor studios. because I’m learning all about something called the Longevity Medical Clinic. And this is real exciting for a guy like me. But for years, I’ve been excited about pain relief, which is the Relief Factor way. Yep, Relief Factor are the folks that are going to be behind the Longevity Medical Clinic that you’ll likely be hearing about on the Mike Gallagher Show. But if you’re living with aches and pains, why don’t you see how Relief Factor, the daily drug-free supplement, can help you feel better and live your life better. I want you to live your life to the full. Relief Factor is 100% drug-free. You This is what I love about it. And I’ll just share my personal story. Hearing about Relief Factor on the radio, knowing that I had that little pain in my SI joint that I’ve had for years, and I thought, what the heck, I’ll give it a try. About two and a half weeks in, I woke up one morning and realized, holy cow, the pain is actually gone. Let’s see if we can get you out of pain the same way. Give their three-week quick start a try. For just $19.95, it’s a pretty smart way for them to… to get you introduced to Relief Factor. They lose money on the quick start, but you know what? They know that a whole, the vast majority of people who try the quick start take it over and over again and go back because Relief Factor works. Pain relief that you’ll be grateful for. Call now. 800-4-RELIEF. 800, the number 4 relief. 800, the number 4 relief. Or visit relieffactor.com. relieffactor.com And I swear, the timing of doing a Relief Factor relief announcement when the driving force behind Relief Factor, Dr. Mixon himself, walked in the studio was entirely coincidental. It was not done by design. See? God’s looking out for us today on The Mike Gallagher Show. phd weight loss has changed my life and i’ve got a little secret for you you know big pharma and semaglutide and the shots in the belly you’ve seen the story recently about the study that shows that a lot of people that are getting this are going blind you don’t want to do this you want a program to lose weight that’s centered around science and nutrition a proven roadmap that has helped over 8 000 clients lose weight and keep it off like me i lost 53 pounds a few years ago and i’ve kept it off i know what to eat and when i know how to quiet any of the cravings i might get and release that that Finally, release that unhealthy belly fat that I carried along for so long. SPEAKER 08 :
He’s the happy conservative warrior, Mike Gallagher, broadcasting across hundreds of radio stations nationwide and seen on your trusted conservative TV network, Salem News Channel. Here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 07 :
I’m going to sum up what President Trump said over the weekend in Scotland. We were a dead country, and now we have one of the hottest countries in the world. I hope you paid attention to what happened over the weekend. Wonder where the experts are. Where are all the smart kids predicting the economic downfall of America under Donald J. Trump? Trump just unlocked one of the biggest economies in the world with an announcement of a massive trade deal with the European Union. The deal will see the EU shoulder a 15% tariff on EU imports to the United States and on large-scale purchases of American energy and military equipment. As Howard Lutnick puts it, this is a historic day. for U.S. trade and will strengthen our relationship with the European Union for decades to come. This, of course, comes on the heels of the trade agreement with Japan, another massive trade partner. Where are the smart kids? What are they saying? Were they wrong? Are they acknowledging they screwed up? I know there’s a lot of other tantalizing things to try to get distracted by. Epstein! Let’s do Epstein! What about ice? What about the deportation? You know, the fact of the matter is Americans are on board with the way this country is headed. I’m in the Seattle, Washington area, and I kept thinking about all the contradictions because everything I read and learn and hear about Seattle, the Democrat leadership has run this part of the country into the ground. the taxes, the cost of living, the way of life. And it is one of the most beautiful parts of America. I always forget until I come back here, and I’m so grateful to be visiting the Relief Factor headquarters and learning about the longevity medical clinic. You know, I’m 65. I wanted to learn all about the things that I keep hearing that they were doing in Seattle, and this is going to be expanding all over America, and Team Gallagher wants to be a part of that. Your 65-year-old host wants to be a part of that. So I’m driving around and I have some family friends in the Seattle area. Had a brunch yesterday and it was just, we went to a market outside. The weather is spectacular and sunny and crisp and the mountains and the evergreens. And yet, you know, thanks to the Democrat leadership, all the typical usual policies, the cashless bail policy, things all locked up behind in the pharmacies. You remember, this is where I had my ivermectin crisis. Do you remember the story? I love this story because I have a record of it. So for years, since COVID, my doctor has prescribed ivermectin every week. You know, he just believes in it. He thinks the effects are beneficial. I trust my doctor. I trust doctors. I trust people like Dr. Mixon. I trust people who know their world. And my doctor believes in ivermectin. So my prescription one week got accidentally forwarded to Seattle. Eric, do you still have the voicemail? I love this story. I’ve got to tell this Seattle story. So this happened a few years ago, but longtime listeners and viewers of the show will remember this. So my doctor accidentally… forwards a prescription for ivermectin to a Seattle pharmacy. Now, again, I don’t have very little to do with Seattle, except for my close association with Relief Factor. And I get a phone call. The immortal voicemail. Here’s the voicemail that I got from the pharmacist who was greatly offended at even the possibility of trying to fulfill the prescription that my doctor sent to her by accident for ivermectin. Here it is.
SPEAKER 12 :
Hi, this is *** calling from ***. This message is for Michael. Just letting you know that we received a prescription from your doctor, but unfortunately I am unable to fill this prescription. If you have any questions, our phone number is ***. But just letting you know, there aren’t going to be, there are very few pharmacies that are going to be willing to fill this prescription. So just a heads up. Again, if you have any questions, ***. Thank you.
SPEAKER 07 :
Now, did you catch the sarcasm? There will be very few pharmacies that are going to be willing to fill this prescription, just so you know. Just so you know. This is blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And that sing-songy voice. Well, I called her. I thought, I can’t stand this. I’ve got to call her and find out why she’s pulling this. And she said, when I got a hold of her, she said, why do you need this prescription? I said, why don’t you ask my doctor? I’m not the doctor. I’m the patient. Why are you refusing to fill my prescription? She said, what’s the medicinal purpose of you taking ivermectin? I said, that’s none of your business. She goes, yes, it is my business. I’m the head of the pharmacy. I’m a doctor of pharmacy, or whatever the title is. It’s unbelievable. And it’s Seattle. It’s because it’s Seattle. Believe me, it took 30 seconds to send the prescription to the right place in Florida, and it was waiting for me five minutes later. Normal people don’t act that way. This pharmacist, and incidentally, I found out her name. I did the whole Karen thing, what’s your name? She gave me her name, and I started laughing. I said, that’s your name? I’m not going to dox her. I’m not going to identify her. But if you only knew what her name was, that’s the icing on the delicious cake of that story of a pharmacist because of her political warped ideology. and she thinks she’s going to be all high and mighty. And I’ve taken, look, I take five tablets every week, every Wednesday, whatever, three milligrams. I’ll run through all that regimen with the folks at the Longevity Medical Clinic upstairs later today, but take it every week, and guess what? I have felt like a million bucks for years. But she wasn’t going to do it because she’s a progressive. She’s a leftist. The pandemic became politicized. And now look at what they’re saying about the mandatory COVID vaccinations. In fact, I talked to somebody over the weekend about all the people in his life who are getting serious health complications right now, and he’s convinced it’s due to the vaccine. Heart problems, blood problems, serious problems. And I don’t even like to think about that because, as you know, much to your chagrin, and I’ll get people mad at me all over again, but my doctor said, yeah, let’s go get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. So I did because I do what my doctor recommends. But what a chapter that was, huh? So let’s go back to President Trump, who I want to play this clip for you. Over the weekend, he describes how successful things are going during the first six or seven months Of this administration.
SPEAKER 05 :
And I think in many respects, we probably have the most successful. And I say it all the time. Every leader, when I went to NATO the other day, every leader said, you have the hottest country in the world. We have the hottest country in the world. We’re taking in hundreds of billions of dollars. We have. The highest stock market we’ve ever had. We have the best numbers we’ve ever had. But we have hundreds of billions of dollars pouring into our country. And I think it’s the hottest. And by the way, one year ago, our country was dead. We had a dead country. because of an incompetent president and incompetent Democrats. All they know how to do is talk and think about conspiracy theories and nonsense. If they’d waste their time talking about America being great again, it would be so much nicer, so much easier, be very successful. But we were a dead country, and now we have the hottest country anywhere in the world. Yeah. Any other questions?
SPEAKER 07 :
He’s right. He’s right. Ignore the polls. Ignore the chatter. Ignore the distractions. That’s what’s important. Don’t be distracted by the things that don’t matter. These are the kinds of things that do matter. Now, I do believe that the deep state matters. And I have a hunch that Dan Bongino is reeling from stuff that he’s uncovered about the deep state in his capacity as deputy director of the FBI. More on that in just a moment. But I wonder if you think more and more Americans’ eyes are opened up to the realities of of the victories that the Trump administration is achieving on behalf of the American people. And some of it is epic. I mean, these trade deals, epic. A secure border, epic. Deporting criminal illegals, epic. I mean, think about the checklist, box after box, checklist after checklist of great things that are happening. Do Americans get it? I often wonder that. You and I might. But do our fellow Americans understand sort of the nuances and the complexities of what winning feels like? The text message from North Carolina on the MyPillow text line here in Washington. Mike, be careful out there. You’re in enemy territory. Now, I’m surrounded by great people here at Relief Factor. And there’s a rumor that they have like a whole team of people who are assigned to protect me from some of the loony libs who might assault me. Nobody’s going to assault me here. I’m in good hands at Relief Factor. I’m in good shape. You’ve got to go through Kelly to get through me. Get to me. There’s nothing to worry about. Nothing to fear. 800-655-MIKE. 800-655-6453. We are actually literally in the Relief Factor studios for a Monday. I’m glad you’re here. We’re partnering with our friends at the nonprofit relief agency, Food for the Poor. and rushing emergency relief kits to these flood-ravaged part of the world. 128 people confirmed dead. Many, many more are still missing. As you know, President Trump and the First Lady visited the flood zone in Texas over the weekend. As you can hear, he was pretty emotional. You can hear in the sound of his voice about what he witnessed.
SPEAKER 05 :
They lost their child or two children and children. Just hard to believe what, I’ve never seen anything like it. A little narrow river that becomes a monster.
SPEAKER 07 :
Now, as the president observed, we’re all grieving. There’s been such a terrible loss of life. Entire communities are still being impacted. There are flooded out homes. There are closed businesses. And there are many still displaced. And they desperately need your help. Now, there is A Help Texas banner on my website, MikeOnline.com, where you can make a secure online donation. Please help us rush emergency relief kits to Texas. These kits contain tarps, hygiene items, diapers, children’s activity materials, and other essentials needed to ease the crisis for these poor people. Food for the Poor, in coordination with a trusted partner in San Antonio, has responded to the central Texas flooding. Nobody responds like the Mike Gallagher audience. Right now, already $13,000 in the first day or two of donations have come in. We have a sort of an unofficial goal of $40,000. In my heart of hearts, we’ll soar past that goal. Let’s support our fellow Americans. Let’s support the Texans who have been through so much. Please go to mikeonline.com and click on the Help Texas banner. You can also phone in your donation, and a lot of people do that. Just call 844-860-HOPE. That’s 844-860-4673. Thank you for supporting these poor families who’ve been through so much. Let’s get emergency relief kits to as many people as we can, and let’s make sure that the Mike Gallagher Show once again is the torchbearer. the leader in sending as many materials as possible to these poor people. Again, you can go to MikeOnline.com and click on the Help Texas banner or call 844-860-HOPE, 844-860-4673. Tyler’s in Delaware. Tyler, welcome back.
SPEAKER 08 :

SPEAKER 07 :
Salem News Channel viewers seeing a live shot of St. Paul, Minnesota, part of the Twin Cities. Of course, we’re heard every day on AM 1280, The Patriot there. And we hope you’re watching us on Salem News Channel as well. Welcome in. Welcome to Kirkland, Washington. Did you see the… Are you seeing the pictures of the Barack Obama Presidential Library? Yes. Yasmin, can you put that picture up for us and have people see who are watching what this monstrosity looks like? Now, look, obviously I’m not a fan of the Obama era. I’m not a fan of President Obama himself. But how about the building? This thing is impossible to describe. This is impossible to even define. It looks like something like from Star Wars or worse. Look at that right now. Are you seeing this right now on Salem News Channel? It’s this giant, windowless, gross, like tower. If this isn’t a metaphor for today’s Democrat Party, I don’t know what is. Look at this thing. What do you call that? What was the place where Superman flew to go recharge his batteries? Was it Krypton? Is this something from Krypton? I mean, this is an ugly fortress of solitude. And as somebody from New York City just pointed out on the MyPillow text line, Hundreds of trees were destroyed in Jackson Park, Illinois, to make room for this monstrosity. Monstrosity is the only word that comes to mind. Look at this thing. Gray and bleak, depressing. The whole lower half of it doesn’t have any windows. It looks like a giant trash can. It’s like a dumpster. And Tracy, what’s the price tag on it? I guarantee you it’s hundreds of millions of dollars. The funniest description of the Obama presidential library comes from somebody I saw posted on X over the weekend. It’s like what a five-year-old would draw if you told a five-year-old to draw a picture of a castle. That’s what it would look like. I mean, this is something that is grotesque. Tracy, can you see if you can find out the price tag and put it on the screen for me? Because if they paid more than $100,000 for this thing, somebody got ripped off. Now, I’m sure it’s all funded by private donations. It’s the grossest thing I’ve ever seen. I mean, it looks like something like a Mad Max movie. And I had to double-check it because I thought, there’s no way it’s real. This can’t be the Obama presidential library. What’s going to be inside this thing? I’m getting a bunch of messages on the MyPillow text line. It looks like a cheese grater. Tracy, I think Eric’s got a number here, $830 million price tag. I know it’s hundreds of millions. I know it’s hundreds of millions. This is the Democrat Party in a nutshell. Here it is, right here, in living color. I want to quickly thank everybody who’s been donating to our Food for the Poor campaign. We’re going to knock on the door of, I think, $100,000 in donations. We have about $15,000 in phone donations. And I think now we’re about $75,000. You’ll see it on the screen if you go to MikeOnline.com. A $50 donation rushes an emergency relief kit to the victims of the Kerr County, Texas flooding. And I’m so thankful to everybody who’s made this campaign such a huge success. Let’s not stop now. Go to MikeOnline.com to make your donation. MikeOnline.com. Or you could call 844-860-HOPE. 844-860-HOPE. You should see some of the pictures I’m getting of this library. MikeOnline.com. Food for the poor. You know, there’s a narrative that the Palestinian children are starving. There’s mass starvation in Gaza. And I saw an interview on the BBC that I wanted to share with you to try to set the record straight a little bit. It’s a very complicated situation. Humanitarian aid and Hamas. How do we work that out? We’ll try to get through that and a whole lot more coming up as The Mike Gallagher Show continues from the Relief Factor studios in Washington state. Portions of our show brought to you by MyPillow and Big Deal. Two sales in one. First, they’re having a closeout sale on the percale bedsheets. Any size, any color, $25. SPEAKER 07 :
We want to welcome you in to the Relief Factor studios here in Kirkland, Washington. A little bit of a different look for our Salem News Channel viewers today because we’re on the road and grateful to the good people at Relief Factor for making us feel so welcome. I’m here to learn all about the Longevity Medical Clinic. And after the show today, I’m going to get a good old workup. They’ll be drawing some blood and they’ll be giving me a consultation. My goal is to live to 103. And as long as the Longevity Medical Clinic here in the Seattle area can do that, I’m all in. No, I kid. I kid. The world’s a difficult place. But sometimes it’s great to get out and travel. And I’m blessed to be able to see different parts of the country. And my capacity is tremendous. the big-mouth talk show host that you get to engage with every day. What a beautiful part of the country this is. I can’t get over it. I’m driving around yesterday and met with some family friends who are here and had dinner in downtown Seattle. Just a beautiful, beautiful part of the country. Things, though, are complicated. And the world is a complicated place. The country is complicated. We have such great news to celebrate with this huge trade announcement with the European Union yesterday. More on that in just a moment. But I want to focus for a little bit on the situation in the Middle East. I want to talk with you, and I want you to talk with me, about Israel, the United States, and Hamas. There is, of course, a narrative that the left… And that is that Israel is an occupier, that Israel is committing genocide, that Israel is starving the poor children of Gaza. Gaza is a complicated place. Israel is a complicated place. And I came across an interview on the BBC. This is a few minutes long, but I saw this over the weekend and I wanted to share it with you. This is the BBC interviewing Israel. A guy by the name of Jonathan Conricus. Jonathan Conricus is a former spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces. Now, he’s going to give you the Israeli point of view, but it answers some questions that I think a lot of us are having about what’s happening right now in Gaza. I’m always fascinated… at the way people on the left fault Israel for everything to do with this war, and they never or rarely bring Hamas into it. Now, if you have been with us for a while, you know where I was after October 7th, the massacre. We went to Israel. We broadcast from Jerusalem. And I interviewed survivors of the Hamas massacre. And this was… a monstrous attack on innocent men, women, and children. So I wanted to share Jonathan Conricus. He’s senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, which is described as a nonpartisan institution that focuses on national security and foreign policy. I hope that you get as much out of this interview as I did.
SPEAKER 11 :
How worried are you by the UN saying that nearly a third of people in Gaza are going days without eating?
SPEAKER 10 :
Yes, good day. Thank you for having me on. Frankly, these days, as an Israeli, whenever I hear statements made by anything that has a UN attached to it and it relates to Israel or Gaza, Sadly, I don’t attach a lot of credibility to those statements. I personally have heard allegations and alarm bells about famine in Gaza for the last year and a half. And therefore, I think that they are more politically motivated than factually based. And therefore, I am not concerned about UN statements. I am, however, concerned.
SPEAKER 11 :
In that case, Jonathan, just if we leave aside the UN statement then, on Friday, Germany, France and the UK called on Israel to immediately lift restrictions on the flow of aid and for an end to, their words, the humanitarian catastrophe that we are witnessing in Gaza. That’s not from the UN, that’s from Germany, France and the UK.
SPEAKER 10 :
Indeed, and that is indeed very worrying. I think that statement and the previous statement of 27 countries that said something similar and the French recognition, future recognition of a Palestinian state, I think those statements cost Israel the ability to reach a ceasefire. They hardened the bargaining position of Hamas, and Hamas understands, and I think quite correctly from their point of view, that they have Western support, that they’ve been able to fool Western governments with a massive propaganda campaign that is ongoing as we speak. And what that means is that Hamas saw the situation and said, well, let’s go for higher and harder.
SPEAKER 11 :
Jonathan, can I just ask you something on what you said there? Why do you feel that… Countries such as Germany, France and the UK expressing concern for a humanitarian catastrophe is the same as supporting Hamas. I mean, this is concern for civilians who are starving.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yes, because the bottom line is what matters. And the bottom line is that in my mind, the concern is justified. And the concern for civilians, women, children, elderly is justified. And as a human being, I am concerned about them as well, even though they support my enemy. What do you think needs to be done? Hold on. But let me just complete the answer. However, the issue here is who bears responsibility for the situation. In my mind, when countries blame Israel and put pressure on Israel about the situation, they are doing Hamas. a service and they are doing Palestinian civilians a disservice. Because let’s be honest about this. The situation in Gaza is Hamas’ doing. It cannot be undone by anybody but Hamas.
SPEAKER 11 :
Israel has a duty under international law to ensure that aid gets to civilians.
SPEAKER 10 :
The war won’t end. until Hamas is defeated. There might be a ceasefire. I hope there is one because I want to see Israeli hostages return to their families. But at the end of the day, after a ceasefire, we will unfortunately have to go back to war because that is what the other side wants. And I think it’s tremendously dishonest and really unhelpful for governments around the world to be piling pressure on Israel where they’re not acknowledging the situation of who it is we have on the other side. Hamas is committed to destroying Israel.
SPEAKER 11 :
If I just go back to what I wanted to ask you earlier, what do you think needs to be done then to ensure Israel gets enough aid to civilians?
SPEAKER 10 :
So first thing, first order of business would be to demand of UN and other affiliated organizations to stop boycotting Israeli humanitarian efforts and to start working with Israel. I think missing from the very long and elaborate and emotional piece, very biased piece that Jeremy just showed, was the part that the UN has been refusing to cooperate with Israel.
SPEAKER 11 :
Why do you think there were images of…
SPEAKER 10 :
I’ll explain. Why? Because they’re cherry-picked. And a very important part of the story wasn’t covered, and that is that there are about 900 truckloads of goods, of food, fuel, and even baby formula that have been delivered to us. If you let me, without interrupting, I will explain. And the images that your editor chose not to show and the information that your editors chose not to give to viewers around the world is that there were more than 950 truckloads of food waiting for you and organizations to distribute them.
SPEAKER 11 :
What’s the explanation, Jonathan, for the images of skeletal children then, if there’s enough aid going through?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, that surely is one part of the explanation. If food is delivered to the Gaza Strip, but UN organizations, motivated by political ideas and motivated by their alliance with Hamas, are refusing to distribute food that’s already in the Gaza Strip, then that surely is part of the problem. And I’m not saying that the situation is perfect on Israel’s side. I’ve been criticizing in Israeli media what I said.
SPEAKER 11 :
So the food now is being distributed by an Israeli and a U.S.-backed organization and not the U.N.? ?
SPEAKER 10 :
Israel for it. Now they’re finally starting to distribute it, and they’re distributing it through their regular channels, which, by the way, isn’t very good, because those channels, some of them, almost all of them, are contaminated with Hamas operatives, and Hamas uses the international humanitarian aid as leverage over the population. And the sad, cynical fact is that the Gazan population, which you rightly show the suffering, you show the children and the women and the elderly, and yes, there is indeed legitimate suffering, which is regrettable. But it is not Israel’s blame. The organization that is to be blamed for everything happening in Gaza since October 7 and since they took power in 2007 is Hamas. They are accountable for their decisions. They are the ones who attacked Israel.
SPEAKER 11 :
Jonathan, thank you very much for your time.
SPEAKER 07 :
A couple of things I want to tackle about that interview. Did you notice how contentious the BBC interviewer was? Just once, I’d love to see somebody on the left get continually interrupted and browbeaten like she was doing to him. Not even a complete sentence. I know sometimes people get mad at me for interrupting too much. Of course, I’m not a news journalist for the BBC who’s ostensibly presenting an issue that’s complicated. And this guy is trying to give concise answers. He wasn’t even that verbose. He wasn’t even somebody who droned on and on. And you’d have thought that she was interviewing Jeffrey Dahmer. But I want to go back to these images of starving kids and the so-called crisis that Gaza is experiencing. What he said to me makes so much sense. There is one faction. There is one entity. There is one group to be blamed for all of the suffering and misery in Gaza. And it’s Hamas. I don’t know how else, how much, and am I just blinded to reality? Do you think Israel’s to blame? Release the hostages. Give up Hamas. And Hamas apparently has no intention of doing that. This is such a fascinating thing to watch people compare what’s happening in Gaza to the Holocaust. Austin in Clearwater writes, The Fresh and Fit podcast is very prominent with a lot of followers. A recent episode had the entire panel praising Hitler for the Holocaust and declaring the need for a second Holocaust with loud claps and applause. I saw that clip, by the way, Austin. I know the one you’re talking about. They’re taking the cover completely off. This has always been about pure, unadulterated Jew hatred. And we are at the point in this historical cycle where they feel comfortable enough saying it even in polite society. This seems all driven by anti-Semitism and Jew hatred. Hamas is the enemy in the Israel-Gaza war. There are good guys and bad guys in every conflict. Things get a little muddy. Things get a little complicated. For this, it seems very, very simple. Hamas is to blame for the misery of all of these Palestinian people. And it’s complicated because what do you do when that group of people believes in the destruction of Israel? 800-655-MIKE. It’s tough. It’s difficult. It’s complicated. Let’s try to sort it out as we bring you this Monday episode of The Mike Gallagher Show, literally here in the Relief Factor studios.
