The news never stops when it comes to President Donald Trump and this administration and things that he’s trying to get done, in my opinion, not just to save America, but to save Western civilization. I do believe that we’re in a fight. for Western civilization, and I want to talk about it. But the left has gotten some bad news, more bad news for the left. And, again, we’ll get to so many stories. Let’s see. I got so many stories in my formerly fingerprinted fingertips. It’s hard to believe. And, of course, we’re going to take your calls at 1-800-655-MIKE. Again, coming to you live from the ReliefFactor.com studios. Residents in D.C.’ ‘s high crime neighborhoods back federal takeover of city police. I’m going to start with that. I’ll talk about that. Trump promises no boots on the ground in Ukraine. Obviously, that’s big news, has been and will be throughout the week and ongoing. Trump’s approval rating jumps after the Putin summit. That’s not good news for the Democrats. And the Democrats are obviously apoplectic because now President Trump is saying, listen, in these museums, the Smithsonian museums inside of Washington, D.C., there’s a bunch of wokeness going on when it comes to history in those museums. We want to get that stuff corrected. And the left is out. I was looking at X and scrolling through X through the night and earlier this morning. uh trump is i guess pro-slavery never mind the fact that he’s a republican You know, the party that abolished slavery in America. I mean, all this kind of nonsense. It’s absolutely amazing to me that the left keeps getting themselves trapped. And guys, listen, I got to be honest with you. I had a conversation at the end of the show yesterday with Tracy Stockwell. We were talking about, you know, elections, elections in general. And in 2022, both of us were severely disappointed. We thought there would be a red wave. There was a red trickle. There was a red wave in some parts of the country, unfortunately. which was good. At least we captured the House in very low numbers. But nonetheless, we captured the House. But the red wave did not come to fruition like we hoped, except, again, in very limited parts of the country. And so I don’t want to predict. What’s going to happen in 2026? But I will say that if Democrats keep on the path that they’re on right now, it’s hard to imagine. It’s hard to imagine us losing control of both the House and Senate, especially with these redistricting fights that are going on and especially. The only thing the Democrats still have to offer, the only thing they still have to offer is Trump is bad. All right, so that brings me to this story. Hat tip, Washington Times. This is a story that Democrats are going. You’re going to hear stories like this over and over and over again, not just related to crime, but I suspect related to illegal immigration. I suspect related to the economy and jobs, so on, et cetera. I think people are going to continue to have a wake up call. And I got to say, this is shocking for me, too. During the COVID lockdowns, I was surprised that more Americans weren’t infuriated at what was happening to them. The authoritarianism that we saw imposed by many of these blue state governors, blue city mayors. Thank God I live in a state of Florida where there were some blue city mayors that tried to impose these COVID lockdowns across the state. And Governor DeSantis wasn’t having it. I mean, thank God. But obviously, I read stories and heard stories of so many people in different parts of the country where the Democrats, Democrats love control. They love authoritarianism. And then they project what they want to do onto us. But this is the type of story that’s going to bite them in the book in the butt. Excuse me. Going back to The Washington Times. Robbie Woodland was skeptical of President Trump’s takeover of the District of Columbia until she spotted a patrol firsthand in Southeast. Now, forgive me for those of you that are watching on the Salem News Channel. I’m doing radio here and doing a little TV here. So I’m going to have to resort to my notes at times. So forgive me in advance for that. But the lifelong Washingtonian watched as federal agents drove by, listen to this, without performing any jump outs or other strong armed police tactics of the sort she feared would target her predominantly black neighbors living across the Anacostia River. a part of the nation’s capital long associated with high crime. Okay, so let me just take a pause there. Guys, I can remember growing up in the hood, and you would hear these stories. Cops are bad. You would hear it all the time. Cops are bad. Cops are bad. Cops are bad. I mean, my mind was poisoned at the time. I grew up in a decent home, but I grew up in the hood or I should say I grew up in a good home. My father was rough and tough, but I learned to appreciate that. Afterwards, I came and, you know, my parents were married. My mother died, unfortunately, when I was young, just 11 years old. I mean, that just tore the family up. But nonetheless, we were brought up with a religious upbringing, with parents that loved God and tried to teach us the right ways, if you will, in life. You know, I didn’t leave me looking back. I don’t always agree with the way they did things, but they loved me and we had discipline. And so I appreciated that. But later on, I strayed. Unfortunately, but one of the things that you would learn, frankly, from your peers and from other, you know, even adult minorities, you always have to look out for the police. You always have to, you know, blacks, Latinos. We have to work two, three times, three times harder than everybody else. That’s the stuff that you would hear daily, daily. And so when you see a police officer and you have an encounter with a police officer, it could go bad because you already have these preconceived notions that the police, because of your skin color, are going to automatically treat you badly no matter how you behave. And that’s why I think it is so dangerous. And it’s why I hate what the left does with this defund the police movement, with the Black Lives Matter movement. We know the Antifa movement, a bunch of communist organizations, all funded by a bunch of left wing crazies and organizers and donors and so on, etc. It’s just absolute nonsense. But it actually puts blacks and minorities in a precarious position when they encounter police officers because you have this preconceived notions that they’re going to beat you up anyway. That’s what this woman was dealing with. Robbie Woodland, again, is her name. I go back. When she took her focus off the patrol… And looked at her surroundings, she noticed that the troublemakers who had become fixtures of her community, not heroes, right? The troublemakers became the fixtures of her community. They were nowhere to be found. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Democrats are in trouble. See, they’ve been told Trump bad, Bundy bad, Cash Patel bad, Dan Bongino bad, Judge Jeanine bad. All these people are bad. All these people are racist. All these people don’t care about blacks and minorities. And then this lady steps outside of her door, fully expecting the police officers to go cray cray, expecting police officers to beat down people in her community unnecessarily. So, and guys, there’s going to be times where police have to put a beat down on some people. Arresting criminals doesn’t look good all the time. As long as people comply. But she was expecting that this was going to happen all the time. And then it didn’t. And then she walks out one day and she notices, you know, I was concerned about these these these criminals in my neighborhood. They were a fixture in my neighborhood. And all of a sudden, in a matter of days, I’ve been living here all my life. I walk out the door. It’s no longer an issue because Trump wants the streets of D.C. cleaned up. Damn, damn, damn. But we’ll play it a little later on. in the program because I just want you to understand as cultural issues start hitting, remember, politics, what does Andrew Breitbart say? What would he say? That politics flows downstream, I believe it is, from culture. And so once you start seeing people in culture in everyday America start realizing, oh, wait a minute, these policies aren’t so bad. Once these policies start touching them, they’re going to have a shift of opinion. What happened in 2020 with the Democrats and the COVID lockdowns could not happen again. Now, some morons, some liberal elitists, either white or blacks, certainly would bow down to that type of nonsense because they want to feel morally superior to you. But frankly, we know that what they pulled off was a big scam to try to control much of the American electorate. As a matter of fact, I don’t have the story right now, my firmly fingerprinted fingertips. But there was a study that was done, I believe in Switzerland, of people that had taken the jab. And depending on how many times they had taken the jab, the people that had taken the jab the most were actually more susceptible to respiratory illness in the future. In other words, the more jabs you took, the more damage you may have done to your respiratory system. All right. So that was a now is a credible story study in Switzerland. And again, I don’t have the story right in front of me, but I read that earlier this week in The Epoch Times. I mean, just absolutely astounding. But again, I believe there’s going to be a wake up call. And guys, I promise I’ll get to Ukraine. I’ll be honest with you. I believe a deal will be made eventually. These guys are going to keep fighting. I think Trump is is doing a great job mediating. I don’t think it’s going to be easy. I don’t know that it’s going to come anytime soon. I’m a little burnt out of the story. If I’m being honest with you, I hate people’s lives are being lost. I do believe the Democrats are the ones that got us into this war. Now they’re the ones that are trying to call Trump Putin stooge when they’re the ones that literally basically helped fund the war against Ukraine by voting for Biden, who was waged war against against our energy companies, against energy dominance in America, thereby sending a bunch of our European allies to rely on Russia for oil and fossil fuels. that was funding the war in Ukraine. So Democrats, if you voted for Joe Biden, please don’t call in talking about how Trump is Putin’s stooge when you’re the ones that helped wage the war and fund the war against Ukraine. You have no credibility with me. You have no credibility with me. We had a caller at the end of the show yesterday. I don’t know why I’m getting off on this rant, but I feel the need… to just make mention of it. I mean, we had a caller yesterday basically calling Trump a Putin stooge. I’m thinking, are you a stooge? I mean, obviously, it was your party. Every time Democrats get into office, it seems like Putin takes advantage of you guys and invades Ukraine. So there must be something about the Democrat Party that Putin witnesses and sees and understands. He invaded Ukraine on Biden’s watch, and now this guy is older. Putin is. He’s going for legacy. And now if Trump doesn’t start the war that Biden started right away, you guys are saying that he’s that he’s Putin’s stooge. It makes no sense at all. Not to mention that you guys voted for an obvious dementia patient in the White House. And so we’ll get to that a little later as well, because there’s more more bad news. Even Biden’s DOJ ripped the White House. And I’ll get into this a little later. They ripped the White House over these clemency laws. these clemency grants that Biden allegedly issued at the end. As a matter of fact, some of Biden’s own DOJ was telling staffers at the White House, what are you doing? Why are you lying? You shouldn’t be using this language. These nonviolent criminals are not nonviolent, and therefore you should not be saying that. That struggle was going on at the end of Biden’s administration, which tells me Biden didn’t know what the heck was going on in his administration. And I would love to see the Ten Commandments being taught in our schools because I believe that our children need a moral underpinning. And let me say this. It happened to be a Jew that discovered me. You guys might know him. His name is Dennis Prager. So I have love for the Jewish people. I don’t believe that anything I say excludes the Jewish people. Dennis Prager certainly doesn’t believe that. And so I hope that you don’t or you won’t feel that way, but understand that I am in the fight with you to make America exceptional again, to make America great again. I believe in the First Amendment. I believe in free speech. I hate anti-Semites. I believe that Jews are the most prosecuted people in the world. I also believe that Christians are a close second, quite frankly. I mean, we can see what’s happening in parts of Africa that people don’t talk about right now. So I just wanted to get that out of the way. But I love all of my Jewish listeners. And listen, I hate to frankly, I’m a little perturbed. And I was even a little perturbed at Trump because I felt like he should have unleashed Israel right away. And he did. to some extent, but he wanted peace in that region. I felt like there was a fundamental lack of understanding of the spiritual fight that’s going on in the Middle East. But I think Trump has since got it right and initially got it right. There was a lull in the middle. So now I do hope that Israel takes back Gaza. I didn’t intend to go here, but I may as well wasn’t in the show notes. But I hope Israel takes back Gaza. I really do. I don’t think that Israel should have given up Gaza in the first place. I think it’s one of the dumbest mistakes in modern history, quite frankly. And I’m on your side in that front. And this is just further evidence. And, guys, listen. You know what? Elections have consequences. None of this stuff matters. None of what I’m saying matters unless you show up at the polls. All right. So that’s that’s the bottom line. We all know that what I’m excited about, even leading up to 2026, is I just see something different that I’ve not seen before, including in the bad year of 2022, where we are all duped. But I just still see people waking up to the fact that, hey, Donald Trump isn’t a bad guy. Oh, my goodness. His policies are working. Oh, my goodness. These left wing policies. Maybe I need to rethink them. Oh, my goodness. The left hasn’t learned anything. They continue to go further left. They’ve been co-opted by the socialists and the communists and their party. And they don’t have anything else except to bash Trump and to go further left. Hat tip, New York Times. Thank you, Tracy. Five takeaways from the Times analysis of Democratic decline and voter registration. So you had former Vice President Kamala Harris defeat in 2024. The New York Times writes, followed by four years of falling voter registration figures for the Democratic Party. A new analysis by The Times, New York Times, of voter registration data nationwide shows the staggering scope of Democratic decline. 30 states, as well as D.C., allow voters to register with a political party. And the Democratic share of the electorate decreased in every one of those places between 2020 and 2021. and 2024 elections. At the same time, Republicans either expanded their advantage or closed the gap, according to the time, with Democrats in all of these places. Then they offer five takeaways that I’ll go through briefly. But I’ll say this. This is why Democrats want illegal immigration. This is why Democrats are going to fight like heck to keep illegals inside of the country. They’re going to organize. They’re going to make a bunch of noise. There was an article in redstate.com by Jennifer Van Laar the other day connecting the dots, the organizations, some that were George Soros-funded, surprise, surprise, between this redistricting campaign in Southern California and… Some of the left wing agitators and rioters that were in L.A. when Trump was that were associated with the, you know, trying to. interfere in the ice raids inside of Los Angeles. So there’s a connection. None of this stuff exists in a vacuum. Democrats don’t have the support that they pretend to have. They don’t. There’s so much political theater. It’s absolutely insane. My buddy Christopher Hart, he’s in Orlando. He wrote a book, Politics and Pro-Wrestling. Politics and Pro-Wrestling. Politics and Pro-Wrestling. You can get it at politicsandprowrestling.com. I guarantee you when you start seeing politics, particularly on the left for the political theater that’s displayed between creating a good guy and bad guy narrative, it will completely open your eyes. And frankly, it’s what Democrats have been good with for so long. They’re good with shaping political narratives. And Republicans so often have been on the defense. But that’s changing with Trump. Trump goes on the offense. And by going on the offense, they call him the bad guy. But ultimately, what’s been happening is they’ve been exposed to the bad guys. Look at what I talked about in the last hour with the D.C. crime. You got a black chick in Washington, D.C. They’re sitting there and saying, you know, she’s fully expecting, you know. Hence BLM to see black people in her community getting beat down when cops are going for the bad guys. And she says, not only am I not seeing that, but I’m stepping out the door and I’m seeing that the troublemakers that were in my neighborhood are no longer in my neighborhood. So I used to be able to step out my door. And when I stepped out my door, I was like, oh, you know, I was pausing. I was a I was a little intimidated. I was a little timid. But now I’m stepping out in just a matter of a week. Under President Trump cracking down on D.C. And I’m like, oh, oh, man, the air is fresher. The air is cleaner. The streets are safer. It’s crazy. Just one week. Just one week. This article from The New York Times. Democrats are losing ground with new voters. Some of the Democratic decline resulted from voters switching parties. Some of it was because older voters died or because people did not vote for so long that they fell off the rolls. Again, this is why Democrats want illegals. This is why Republicans want redistricting. You know why? Because we know that there are more people that are starting to vote Republican and Democrats don’t want to admit it and we want our representation. This is a very important column. And in six months, Democrats are like Trump hasn’t fixed it yet. This fool spent four years destroying the country, taking us to economic lows that we hadn’t seen in decades. And Democrats are. ignored everything about Biden. The fact that their party lied to them about a dementia patient in the White House, Kareem Jean-Pierre lied to them every day at the White House. They have nothing to say about that, that their party totally duped them, but they’re still willing to vote for their party, yet they won’t give Trump any grace. It’s just insane to me. Real quick, I just want to make mention of this, and obviously this is going to be a big story, or it is a big story, remains to be a big story, but just fill you in. Trump assures that no U.S. boots will be on the ground as part of the Ukraine security guarantees. And listen, there’s fear and trepidation out there from conservatives, including myself, whenever you get entangled in any type of conflict, the potential is that you could get more involved. I do believe with President Trump, he will do, listen, he wants to help out our NATO allies. He wants to end this war that the Biden administration got started. He is willing to help out with air support. So let me just read you some of the contents. This is from the Epoch Times. Again, there will be no U.S. boots on the ground in Ukraine to enforce an eventual armistice between Kiev and Moscow, according to President Trump. He called in for an interview on Fox and he recounted his multilateral meeting with President Zelensky and the other European leaders, which I thought was just absolutely cool. And it showed a a source or a sense of unity, frankly, that the left has been saying, listen, we have no respect around the world, so on, et cetera. Not only do we have respect, these people are her NATO allies are given Trump respect. I don’t know if you guys saw the picture of him with he’s at the he’s in the Oval Office at his desk and the rest of the NATO allies. European leaders are sitting around in chairs, nice chairs nonetheless, but they’re listening to Daddy Trump, so to speak. I mean, the world is a safer place with President Trump at the helm. And again, Biden has got us into a mess, but this is where we’re at. Zelensky has repeatedly asked Ukraine’s base of international supporters for security assurances as part of an eventual peace process. process to end the war. You guys may remember the clip that we played earlier in the program. Stephen A. Smith, of all people, there was a Budapest agreement. And that was when both the United States and Russia agreed that if Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons, that Russia would protect them, that America would protect them. But obviously Putin slipped in. He sees the Ukrainian territory as, frankly, as Russia, the USSR. He wants to rebuild. And right now he’s taken about 20 percent of the land. Trump has already come out and said, listen, there are not going to be Ukraine is not joining NATO. All right. During his meetings, let me just read, with European leaders on Monday, Trump said Ukrainian membership in NATO was off the table, but there could be a, quote-unquote, NATO-like multinational force to provide Ukraine with some security assurances. Trump also elaborated on that. Ukraine is not going to be a part of NATO, but we’ve got the European nations and they’ll front load it. That’s important. Again, like I said the other day, Trump is trying to make Europe strong again. He’s trying to make the West strong again. And frankly, they’re going to be forced to do so. And he’s calling their card. He’s pulling their card. These people were buying oil and are buying oil from Russia. Meanwhile, And meanwhile, you know, bashing Putin while they’re helping to fund his invasion in Ukraine. I mean, it doesn’t make any sense. And so I think Trump is exposing them as well. And he has become he has become Daddy Trump. In a sense, he predicted that the fighting in Ukraine is unlikely to flare back up once a peace deal is in place. And that’s what they’re trying to work towards now. He says, and I quote, I think if a deal is made, you know, famous last words, right? But I think if a deal is made again, he was being interviewed by Fox. I think Russia’s had it. They’ve all had it. And for a very extended period of time, I don’t think there’ll be a problem. Close quote. The bottom line is there probably are going to be some land swaps for peace. I know Zelensky doesn’t want that. But the bottom line is, listen, you’re settling. What you’re settling for is still 80 percent of Ukraine, a peaceful Ukraine where people can start living normal lives again. And then you give you give Putin an offer. I know that I know this is not what people want, but Trump said it right. This is war. And unfortunately, Biden was so weak. Obama was so weak. This is when Putin took advantage, gained ground. And I don’t see Ukraine taking that ground back. But we can provide weapons for them. I mean, Trump is willing to sell them weapons. I think that’s a good thing so that they can protect themselves and also put more of the onus on our European allies that sat by and didn’t seem to talk a good game about Putin but did nothing to protect Ukraine. This is where we are. I don’t believe there’s any good good scenario here. But given the damage that the Biden administration and the Democrats have done, all the while pretending that they supported Ukraine, while while in a way providing or funding the war against Ukraine, they’re total and complete hypocrites. And so now Trump is in cleaning up the mess and the left is trying to blame him for the mess that they created. It makes no sense. But that’s the world that we live in. Let me read this because this is not good news for the Democrat Party. I’ve been reading bad news for the Democrat Party all morning long. I hope you go back and check out some of the previous hours. And we got so much more to get to in this hour as well. Hat tip Newsmax. Poll Trump approval rating jumps after the Putin summit. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Democrats have been saying that he’s a stooge for Putin. Unfortunately, the voters aren’t buying it. President Donald Trump. Oh, and by the way, The Democrats in Texas are going to vote on the redistricting map today. What a waste of time. All for naught. Oh, my goodness. All right, so Trump’s approval rating surged to 54% in the aftermath of his summit with President Putin, according to a new Insider Advantage poll. With 43.6% disapproving, Trump enjoys a net rating of more than plus 10%. This, according to the survey, Trump’s approval surge by four points in a month. In July’s poll, Trump had a 50 percent approval rating against a 48 percent disapproval. But Trump and Putin met Friday in Anchorage, Alaska, in an effort to reach a peace deal. And that helped Trump surge amongst independents and younger likely voters that were surveyed. They were behind Trump’s boost in popularity. Not good news. for the Democrat Party as they continue not to necessarily hemorrhage, but at least lose voters. And now even The New York Times is recognizing that. Virginia teens were suspended for questioning a transgender student about being in a boy’s locker room, and the boys got in trouble instead of the girl pretending to be a boy. This is Loudoun County again in Virginia. Absolute nonsense. We’re going to bring in Roger P. Shulman. He is the news director right here at Salem Communications in Tampa. Roger Shulman is a well-respected journalist with more than 50 years in the Tampa Bay broadcast news market, and he is one of the most recognizable voices in the industry. Roger, how’s it going? This is a crazy story. Give us your take.

It really is. These three kids are sitting in the boys’ locker room. They are boys, and suddenly this female, obviously a female, pretending to be a male, comes in, starts removing her clothing and changing clothes, and they are… They comment about it. They say, what is going on here? This isn’t normal. This isn’t right. And they got in trouble. She recorded what they were saying, which is against policy. You’re not supposed to record things in the locker room at the Stonebridge Bulldogs high school locker room. And they get in trouble and they are accused of sexual harassment and sex based discrimination. They’re suspended for 10 days and they have this on their record. This is a high income school. Their parents have lawyered up and, uh, They’re very upset that this is going to be on their record when they try to apply for college sex based discrimination, sex problems, because they question the fact that this obvious female came into their locker room. Now, they probably should have just marched into the female locker room and said, hey, we’re girls today. It’s that strange. And I know that you and I growing up. didn’t have that sort of thing happen but this is such an unreal situation and now the state attorney general and governor glenn yunkin are involved and they want an investigation into this because they think it is totally ridiculous roger and i want to i want to get your reaction to this because obviously as you mentioned this is this frankly this is utterly insane i i think the boys did the right thing i mean consider listen i i

I was a young boy growing up. If a girl walked into my locker room, I would have been like, oh, okay. Happy days are here. Happy days are here again. These boys actually did the right thing. What is a girl doing in my locker room? This child suffers with gender dysphoria. Her parents… obviously suffer with something as well and these boys you’re telling me are faced with a punishment of having their records destroyed for doing the right thing and frankly being mentally sane yeah and they apparently this was not a particularly appealing specimen coming in there uh no matter what sex it was but so they were shocked on a number of levels

And it was not a pleasant experience for them, and they objected to it. And it’s understandable. For those of us who are somewhat normal, this is quite understandable. But for those folks in Loudoun County, it’s a high school of about 1,600 students.

Insane.

Very high-income area and very high academics. But unfortunately, the school board there is kind of insane, I guess. It just doesn’t make much sense. But they’re trying to get to the bottom of this.

Go ahead. I’m sorry. It’s just a strange situation. Those of us who grew up in religious communities, they also objected to this on religious grounds. These are Christian kids, and they think this is ridiculous. And it seems that the governing bodies of the state are coming down on this school, too, because they don’t think it’s right either. And you and I both grew up in a Christian environment, and we both think it’s absolutely nuts.

It absolutely is. And honestly, even even if you’re not religious, even if you’re not Christian, just a bit of common sense. Hopefully sanity will prevail in Loudoun County. But the people there have to fight back. They have another gubernatorial election. this November, Roger. So I hope that they choose wisely. And meanwhile, thank you for your wise words. Roger P.
