SPEAKER 02 :
There’s some bad news for Tim Walz in Minnesota right now. The Trump administration has begun a large-scale immigration enforcement surge in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, significantly expanding the federal law enforcement footprint in the state of Minnesota. In addition, the Department of Justice has begun a criminal investigation into the outgoing Minnesota governor, Tim Waltz. I’ve got a friend who shall remain nameless who’s a lot nicer than I am. He’s a really nice guy. Big heart. Pretty spiritual guy. He’s a live and let live kind of guy. And it’s pretty remarkable to see how people like him want to give Tim Walz the benefit of the doubt. And I’m kind of ashamed of my, sort of my ego, maybe my edginess getting in the way. Maybe that’s the right approach. Well, his approach is, Tim Walz is riding off into the sunset. He’s been politically ruined. It’s over for him. He’s done. Let him just sail off into the sunset. No No, no, no, no. There must be accountability. And if Tim Walz looked the other way during the massive fraud scheme that was perpetuated upon the taxpayers of Minnesota, if the governor of Minnesota, liable or culpable for wrongdoing, he doesn’t get a get out of jail free card by saying he’s not going to run again. And I think that’s why he’s dropping out. He’s counting on the goodness of people like my friend who just want to Let him fade into the sunset. Just drift away. Tim Walz isn’t going to run for anything ever again. Tim Walz is certainly not going to run for president, as some people have erroneously claimed in 2028. Tim Walz is done. And Tim Walz just might be facing some serious criminal implications. And there’s nothing wrong with that. He must be held accountable. If he supervised fraud in Minnesota during his time as governor, he’s got to be held accountable for that. The investigation from the DOJ is going to examine whether or not Waltz was complicit or criminally liable for the ongoing $9 billion fraud scandal. This, of course, primarily involves Somali immigrants in the state of Minnesota. White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said yesterday this is a top priority for President Trump. He believes that Governor Walz is criminally liable. And I think that the Department of Justice is going to find out. You know, there has to be a compelling reason that Tim Walz dropped out. People like him, shallow, vapid, partisan hacks like him, don’t drop out of the political arena lightly. There’s no… I mean, his stated reason… is preposterous. Oh, I want to continue to fight for Minnesota, and the best way I can fight for Minnesota is to drop out and resign, essentially. No, he’s hoping that President Trump and the rest of the country will look the other way and let him just go out with a whimper, just peter out, just fade away to oblivion where he belongs. That’s the price he’s willing to pay, maybe in order to stay out of prison. Do you see it differently? Maybe you’re of the mindset of my friend. Oh, he’s dropping out. He’s throwing in the towel. Leave him alone. He’s been embarrassed. He’s been shamed. He’s been disgraced. The world knows what a joke he is of a governor. The world knows how under his watch Somalian immigrants ripped taxpayers off to the tune of billions of dollars. He’s paid enough of a penalty. Let him ride off into the sunset. Look, I agree with a texter from Pennsylvania who just wrote me here on the MyPillow text line who said, the attitude of forget Tim Walz, let him fade away, is exactly why our country is on the edge of ruin. That’s a perfect point. So let’s find out what you think here in the Relief Factor studios. Kicking off a Wednesday, January 7th, 2026. There, I said it right today.
SPEAKER 1 :
2026.
SPEAKER 02 :
A couple times I said 2025 yesterday. Sorry about that. You think Tim Waltz needs to be held accountable? Do you think that’s the smart play by the DOJ? SPEAKER 02 :
Congressional hearings are underway over the Minnesota fraud scandal that led Tim Walz to resign, not seek a third term for governor. He held a press conference yesterday. He was… What do the kids call it, wilding? He was bugging. He was bugging. Oh, he went crazy. Put up or shut up now, he screamed. I’m going to ride Republicans for the next 11 months. He’s acting very defiant. He’s sort of pretending to have a gloves-off approach. It almost feels like he knows… that the proverbial walls are closing in. You know, they love to say that about Trump. The only difference is the walls never close in on Trump, but they may be closing in on Tim Walz. The Department of Justice announced that they’ve launched an investigation into his actions. where he allegedly presided over massive welfare fraud in his state. Now, a lot of stuff going on this week to keep up with, and, boys, it’s good to be back to work. I missed this. You know, I took a nice long vacation over the holidays, but it’s so great to be back in front of you again and talking. Thank you. Thank you for making 2025 as difficult a year as it was. And it was a tough year. We lost Charlie Kirk. Had a lot of tough things happen within our company. A lot of good things happened as well on the business side of things. And we’re looking forward to a pretty remarkable 2026. Our economy is soaring. The stock market, the Dow reaching epic levels. Inflation is plummeting. Gas prices are going down. The border is secure. Good things are ahead. And the Democrats know it. And they want to do everything they can to desperately distract you from daring to realize that things are looking good. Yesterday was January 6th. My producer gave me some stories. I said, no, I’m not. This is the Democrats’ high holy day. It’s the fifth anniversary of Of the Capitol riots. And the Democrats were completely overwrought yesterday. Check out this goofy Democrat from Tennessee who never, ever disappoints. He never fails to let you down over how wacky he can be. I give you United States Congressman Steve Cohen.
SPEAKER 04 :
One date, somebody mentioned, dates will always remember it. September date, January date, and Pearl Harbor. We’ll never forget November 22, 1963, of those of us who are alive. I remember it all the time. Whenever I think about it, I start to tear up. I’m about to tear up now. And the idea that he put his name over John Kennedy’s should never be forgotten, and he should be wiped out.
SPEAKER 02 :
There you go. That was Steve Cohen talking about January 6th. Did you see what the Democrats did? They had a candlelight vigil. Now, I’m a little confused about the candlelight vigil because I don’t know if they were commemorating the life and the legacy of Ashley Babbitt. Ashley Babbitt’s the only person who was killed at the Capitol that day. And that’s a fact. Let me repeat, Ashley Babbitt was the only person who was killed at the Capitol. Which makes me wonder, did these Democrats inadvertently pay tribute to a Trump supporter named Ashley Babbitt, who was shot dead by Capitol Police Officer Michael Byrd? I’m confused. If you’re watching right now on Salem News Channel, you don’t want to miss this video. Because it’s like a skit from The Office. I swear. This is comedy gold. There’s the Democrats singing. And I, you know, the joke on the Internet these days is I regret to inform you that the crazy libs are singing again. But yes, indeed, the crazy libs were singing yesterday, led by Al Green. You know the guy with the cane? I love the guy with the cane. This is a congressman from Texas. He’s always got this cane, and he’s always waving it around wildly. He uses the cane as a prop. He doesn’t need the cane to walk. He just waves that thing around like it’s Harry Potter’s magic wand. I love watching him wave that, and he’s doing it while they’re singing. So check it out if you’re watching right now, snc.tv or mikeonline.com if you’re streaming the show on video. But if you’re listening on the radio, it sounds every bit as comical as it looked. There’s Al Green on the left of the screen.
SPEAKER 06 :
Look at him waving that cane.
SPEAKER 02 :
It’s like a baton. He’s using it like a baton.
SPEAKER 06 :
My home sweet home. God bless America. My home sweet home.
SPEAKER 02 :
I love that. Look at that cane. See, that cane can be used as a baton. It can be used as a weapon. It can be used as a sort of a pseudo sword. I love that guy with the cane. Kurt Schlichter had to call somebody out on social media. I saw this last night. Somebody repeating, regurgitating the stupid lie that five people were killed on January 6th. Why do they keep saying this? Do they think Americans are too stupid to know the truth? Five people weren’t killed on January 6th. One person was killed on January 6th. Well, you got Officer Brian Sicknick. Okay, how did he die? Natural causes. Poor guy had a blood clot, led to a stroke, and he died of natural causes. Well, but maybe he was upset about the riot. Well, I’ve seen video of the late Officer Brian Sicknick. He was politely and calmly… waving people through an entrance, opening a door for people practically. I mean, he wasn’t upset at all. Well, there were other officers. They committed suicide. What? They committed suicide? Over a thousand knuckleheads behaving badly at the Capitol? That caused them to kill themselves? Did the George Floyd deaths… Cause anybody to kill themselves? Anybody kill themselves after the trauma of watching Charlie Kirk get assassinated? You killed yourself over, what? It’s a lie. It’s a deliberate and malicious lie that five people were killed on January 6th. And the truth of the matter is, the reason the Democrats had their stupid candlelight vigil yesterday is it’s all they got. They got nothing. But we got some stuff on our side. We’ve got Victor Davis Hanson. And coming up, I want to play for you. It’s a little lengthy, but every word is worth it. I want you to hear this. Victor Davis Hanson’s assessment of January 6th and all the hullabaloo, all the craziness from the Democrats over that fateful day. You’re not going to want to miss it. That’s coming up. Welcome in. We’re in the Relief Factor studios. Happy Wednesday. Our number is 800-655-MIKE. 800-655-6453. Join us. One number does it all. Call or text. Let’s put your voice front and center here on the Mike Gallagher Show. Is losing weight getting harder and harder as you get older? It’s not your fault. You’re eating better, you’re moving more, but your body isn’t responding the way it used to. That’s not willpower, that’s metabolism. For many people, years of dieting is quietly slowing down your metabolic system. So the harder you try, the less progress you make. I was dealing with the exact same thing five years ago. I made a call to PhD Weight Loss. It changed my life. At PhD Weight Loss, they help people identify what’s actually blocking fat loss, and they fix the root cause. It isn’t as simple as counting calories. Your body is much more complicated than that. If you want to understand why your body isn’t cooperating, call PhD Weight Loss now. Let’s see if you’re next in getting out of pain the Relief Factor way. A lot of text messages on the MyPillow text line about the Democrats’ candlelight vigil commemorating January 6th. This, of course, coming the same week that the House Oversight Committee is hearing testimony about the Minnesota fraud scandal, which upended Tim Waltz’s political career. Here’s Sharon from South Carolina. Roseanne Boylan was beaten to death outside the Capitol that day. Now, there’s a lot of dispute about her cause of death. The official narrative is that Roseanne Boylan, that 34-year-old woman who died, was somebody who died of a medical emergency. But, you know, I’m reading here from Newsweek. This is from November 26, 2021. And it’s astounding how casually people will lie about what happened that day, which is what infuriates people. telling these lies the way this reporter did from Newsweek is a perfect example of why people then go to the other extreme and say, oh, it was just all peace and love that day. There wasn’t any violence. Nothing ever happened. Everything was fine. And that isn’t true either. But I know why people instinctively do that. Because you’re sick of being lied to. You’re sick of being lied to about COVID and vaccines and the pandemic. You’re sick of being lied to about January 6th. Let me read this to you. This is from… Tracy found this. My producer found this from November of 2021. A video clip purporting to be new footage of an incident involving a Capitol rioter who died being hit by police has spread online. Roseanne Boylan, 34, was one of three people who died of medical emergencies when a pro-Trump crowd stormed the Capitol as Congress was certifying Biden’s victory in the presidential election. A fourth person… was fatally shot by police, that would be Ashley Babbitt, and an officer was also killed. No, there wasn’t. No officer was killed. Now, this comes from Newsweek, November 26, 2021. Did they post a retraction? Did the reporter, Yevgeny Kuchilev, issue a retraction? When it was revealed that Brian Sicknick died of natural causes? Remember when they said he was hit over the head with a fire extinguisher? It was a lie. It was a lie. And when they lie about an event like January 6th, I’m convinced, I have a theory, that that’s why other people… go bonkers and not tell the truth, lie, if you will, to the other extreme. You can’t watch the video of that day and pretend that nothing violent happened. That’s ridiculous. But again, it may be ridiculous factually, But emotionally, I know why you do it. You probably do it because you’re saying, well, heck, if they’re going to lie about scores of people being killed that day, we might as well lie and say that it was all peaceful and happy and kumbaya. Here’s a tweet from Protect Kamala Harris, whatever the heck that is. Five years ago, these police officers died because of Donald Trump and his treasonous thugs. Republicans may pretend they didn’t exist, but we will always remember their sacrifice. And this goofball has a picture of Brian Sicknick and four other officers. How were the other four officers killed? By the rioters on January 6th. It’s absolutely insane to regurgitate lie after lie after lie. And Americans are tired of it. We’re fed up. We’re fed up. 800-655-MIKE. Jay’s in Mineola, New York, 26 past the hour. Hey, Jay, welcome back. Happy New Year.
SPEAKER 03 :
Hey, Mike. Happy New Year. How’s it going? Good, good. What’s up? So yesterday I read that the White House basically put out on their website that the January 6th was caused by the police and Nancy Pelosi. Do you believe that? No, I don’t. Okay. I don’t believe it either. I’m just… I think we’re going too far crazy in this country, Mike, you know?
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, but like I just said, the reason people go crazy, it’s crazy to say that five police officers were killed that day. Not a single police officer was killed.
SPEAKER 03 :
Not one. Beautiful. But you’re not denying that it was a riot, right?
SPEAKER 02 :
I’ve said it over and over again. I’ve said, of course it was a riot. I’ve got eyes to see with. I saw what happened.
SPEAKER 03 :
Of course. And agreed, nobody got killed, but that’s not really the point. The point is that… We got to that point. All right. Well, let’s go with that for a minute.
SPEAKER 02 :
All right.
SPEAKER 03 :
Wait a minute.
SPEAKER 02 :
Wait a minute. We got to what point? That a thousand people… The point that we had a riot at the house of… Right. And we have riots in America. What do you think happened after George Floyd died? Cities were burned down. Stop with the George Floyd stuff. Stop with that already. Well, it’s true. Well, what do you mean it’s different? You’re right, it’s different. You know what’s different? George Floyd riots were worse. No, they weren’t.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely not. No, they weren’t. Our president caused a riot at the Capitol.
SPEAKER 02 :
Our president caused a riot by saying go peacefully and patriotically, let your voices be heard? Would you stop with… Here you go sounding like these lunatics that are lying that five cops were dying. What’s wrong with you, Jay?
SPEAKER 03 :
Go peacefully, Mike. Come on. He was going on this for a year, telling everyone how the election’s going to be stolen.
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, so what? He still thinks the election was stolen. Hey, Jay, he still thinks the election was stolen. So what? I mean, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Hang on. Hang on. He riled up his base. Is that what he did? He riled people up. Hey, wait a minute. You’re telling me you think the George Floyd riots weren’t as bad as January 6th? Why are we talking about George Floyd? You said they’re different things. You said they’re different things. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Don’t go away. Don’t go away. Go away. Don’t go away. Stay right there.
SPEAKER 03 :
Jay.
SPEAKER 02 :
Jay, you’re talking over me and we can’t hear you. Stay there, okay? Don’t go away. Don’t go away. Don’t go away.

I love that the Dems were so upset that Trump sent Maryland Dad to Central America and demanded him back for due process. Now they’re mad that we bring this guy here from Venezuela for due process. Shouldn’t they be happy? We could say, but we’re just doing due process, you know.
SPEAKER 08 :
On Salem News Channel and Salem Radio Network, here’s Mike.
SPEAKER 02 :
I just saw Nick Shirley. He flew to Greenland because now we’re apparently about to take over Greenland. Look, you can’t keep up with any of this stuff. Nick Shirley, the young social media influencer, citizen journalist who blew the lid off of the Somalian fraud in Minnesota, now went to Greenland and he interviewed a bunch of young people about whether they want the United States to take over Greenland, and they do. All these kids said, yeah, buy Greenland. Take over Greenland. We don’t like the Danish. We want the United States to take us over. Some of these things are so epic, you don’t even know what’s real and what’s not. It’s like AI anymore. You don’t know what’s real, what isn’t real. There’s a Nancy Pelosi clip making the rounds, showing her with her hair all sticking straight up. She’s got a bottle of vodka in one hand, and she’s smoking a cigarette in the other, and it looks as real as anything. Do you know how many people are being fooled by AI? Artificial intelligence is going to be the death of all of us. I mean, what’s going to happen when somebody posts something so awful and people are going to believe it and you’re not going to… Somebody told me there’s like a watermark. What’s a watermark? Is there a logo or an impression on a video in the corner that’s supposed to show you that it’s AI? Because we better have it. Because if I didn’t know better… I saw Nancy Pelosi with a bottle of vodka in her left hand, chain smoking with a cigarette in her right hand, and criticizing Republicans. I mean, it’s not like… There are moments of Nancy Pelosi’s existence that seem like AI. There are. Remember this doozy? Yesterday was January 6th, the high holy day for the Democrats. They had a candlelight vigil. Oh, boy. With that goofy Al Green waving the cane. Like Looney Tunes. He was using the cane as a baton. God bless America. And they’re, I guess, holding a vigil for Ashley Babbitt? I don’t know. Why do you have a candlelight vigil over January 6th? Was that AI? Was that AI? No, it really happened. A group of Democrats held candles, sang God Bless America, while Al Green wildly waved his cane in the air. It looked like a skit from The Office. I saw somebody on social media last night called January 6th for the Democrats White Kwanzaa, which I thought was a pretty good way to describe January 6th. It’s like a fake holiday. You know that if there was a Democrat in the White House and a Democrat-controlled Congress, it would be like a national holiday. Everybody would take the day off to commemorate the mythical people who were killed on January 6th. The only person killed on January 6th was a Trump supporter named Ashley Babbitt. That’s it. Only one. But they can’t help themselves. That’s why they lie over and over and over again. This isn’t a lie. Here’s Nancy Pelosi a couple weeks ago. Remember, she was asked about her role in not getting the National Guard to assist the police when people began rioting on January 6th.
SPEAKER 05 :
Why did you refuse the National Guard on January 6th?
SPEAKER 01 :
Shut up. I did not refuse the National Guard. The president didn’t send it. Why are you coming here with Republican talking points as if you’re a serious journalist?
SPEAKER 02 :
That never gets old. I could play that on a loop. Shut up! Shut up! That was actually Nancy Pelosi being interviewed by somebody. I mean, it’s hysterical. And they don’t have anything. We’ve got to play the clip before we take good old Stephen from San Francisco, who’s probably going to want to argue with me. Who knows what? I don’t know. Who knows what Stephen’s going to say? But we’ll put Stephen up in a moment, because I’m in a good mood, and I always appreciate colors from all stripes. Here was the moment on the High Holy Day for the Democrats, the fifth anniversary. Did they have a candlelight vigil on the fourth anniversary? Did they sing songs and chant on the third anniversary? I mean, how many anniversaries do we have to have for January 6th? Here they were yesterday. And if you’re watching on Salem News Channel, you’ve got to check out on the left of the screen, Congressman Al Green waving that cane like Thor’s hammer. He loves that cane. Man, he doesn’t need that cane to walk. He just likes to swing it around wildly like he did yesterday.
SPEAKER 06 :
And guide her through the night with the light from above. From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans wide with foam. God bless America, my home sweet home. God bless America, my home sweet home.
SPEAKER 02 :
I love that cane. They’ve got to put that cane in the Smithsonian someday. When the Lord calls Al Green home, I hope he’ll bequeath the cane to the Smithsonian. Because that cane has gotten a lot of action. Steven’s in San Francisco. Hey, Steven. Hey, how you doing, Mike? Good. How are you?
SPEAKER 05 :
Good, good. I love listening to your show. Thank you. Keep your enemies closer. I don’t understand why you’re saying mythical people died on January 6th. There were definitely more than just one Republican that died.
SPEAKER 1 :
Who?
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, I said killed. Five people weren’t killed. Brian Sicknick died of natural causes, according to the Washington Medical Examiner. Correct?
SPEAKER 05 :
He died of natural causes due to what was forced to him during the raids. That’s a lie.
SPEAKER 02 :
Why are you calling a national show and lying? Have you read the medical examiner in Washington, D.C. issued a report about Officer Sicknick’s death. He had a blood clot.
SPEAKER 05 :
It had nothing to do with trauma.
SPEAKER 02 :
It wasn’t associated with trauma in any way, shape, or form. You are not telling the truth, Stephen.
SPEAKER 05 :
What I’m trying to say is that, let’s say you have a heart condition and you’re attacked by someone. You wouldn’t necessarily die just of natural causes.
SPEAKER 02 :
He didn’t have a heart condition. By the way, Stephen, he didn’t have a heart condition. He had a blood clot that, according to the medical examiner, you understand the term natural causes? That’s not my term. That’s the medical examiner, Stephen. You’re lying.
SPEAKER 05 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 02 :
All right, well, then don’t lie. Well, you did lie. You said he suffered blunt force trauma. That’s a bald-faced lie, Stephen. Why do you guys have to lie about January 6th? Why don’t you just tell the truth? We know that it was a demonstration that got out of hand. We all acknowledge that. Okay? Yeah. I’m with you. I’m with you. Who incited this? Who incited this? Yes. That’s the next talking point. You mean the guy that said, let’s go patriotically and peacefully, let your voice be heard? That guy? There’s another lie. I don’t know who said that. Donald, oh, I know you don’t know who said that because you don’t want to acknowledge that Donald Trump said that. Oh, what, eight hours after it happened? No, before it happened. Did you not, do you not? See, again, you’re 0 for 2. You’re either willfully ignorant or you’re lying. And I don’t know which one it is, but I don’t have time for this. You got the clip, Eric, just for the benefit of poor delusional Stephen in San Francisco because he said he didn’t hear it. You’re going to hear it now, Stephen.
SPEAKER 03 :
I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.
SPEAKER 02 :
Wow, Stephen, what an incitement. That’s an incitement for insurrection, isn’t it? No wonder they went crazy. I’m ready to go riot right now, just hearing his words. Please.
SPEAKER 07 :
Mike Gallagher.
