In today’s episode of The Mike Gallagher Show, we delve into the latest news shockwave – the arrest of former CNN journalist Don Lemon. Discussing the ramifications of the FACE Act, Mike and guests explore how Lemon’s actions at a St. Paul church led to his detainment. Hear from listeners and experts as they weigh in on whether Lemon’s actions constitute a violation of rights or if they depict activism gone too far.

From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 04 :
Holy cow, they arrested Don Lemon. Yikes! The so-called journalist, who of course was dumped by CNN… who became a rabid, you know, Trump-hating podcaster, going out and doing his man-on-the-street stuff, he was taken into custody last night. And it was just confirmed by his attorney, Abby Lowell. Abby Lowell said, Don Lemon has been a journalist for 30 years. His constitutionally protected work in Minneapolis was no different than what he has always done. Nope. You can’t break federal law. There’s something called the FACE Act, where it is a federal crime to intimidate, harass, or terrorize churchgoers. We’ll explain the FACE Act for you in a couple of moments. But Don Lemon, apparently, I guess he spent the night in the Hooskow. I wonder if there’s going to be a mugshot. I wonder how this all played out. You know, a judge attempted to block the ability for the Trump Justice Department to charge Don Lemon. Well, it didn’t work. And he was at the Grammy Awards, of all places, in Los Angeles last night where he was arrested. Wow. 800-655-MIKE. Let’s do what we always do in big breaking stories like this here in the Relief Factor studios. And it’s a big day. President Trump has nominated Kevin Warsh as the next Fed chair to replace… Jerome, I won’t lower interest rates. Powell, one thing about Kevin Warsh, oh yeah, interest rates are going to go down. That’s going to impact our economy in a massive way. It’s very positive news on the economic front. We’ll keep you posted on all of that. We’ve got a lot of breaking news out of Minneapolis, but first things first. Don Lemon arrested. Here’s a text from Philadelphia from Paul. Don Lemon’s arrest warms the cockles of my heart on this frigid day in Philadelphia. Sow the wind, prepare to reap the whirlwind. Semper Tyrannis. I wonder if this is going to help Don Lemon. And one of the things I wanted to ask you about when it first came up that Don Lemon might be arrested, eventually, because, look, the Justice Department was saying, we’re going to make arrests over the storming of this church, terrorizing churchgoers, because the protesters claimed that one of the pastors was involved with ICE. And you’ve seen the horrible videos. You’ve seen the crying kids and all that. But does this make Don Lemon… A martyr. Does this make him a hero? My outgoing video producer, and we want to pay tribute to Christian Russell, who is spending his last day with us. Great guy. We wish him well. He had a great opportunity to work at a job where he’s allowed to be remote. He’s got a kind of a, I think, a little bit of a management position. And look, he deserves all good things, and we’re wishing Christian nothing but the best. But Christian will be missed, not only for his video and his producing skills, but a takes he gave me on things like this. And one of the takes that Christian said was, this is the greatest thing that Don Lemon could hope for. Don Lemon will play this like a fiddle. Don Lemon will monetize this. He will go down as the latest Trump victim. And he’s going to absolutely milk this to the nth degree. So I think Christian might be right. I mean, it might feel a little satisfying. What I like is that finally it looks like there’s some accountability. Just the other day, I said I wish Pam Bondi would do less TV appearances and let’s arrest some people. Well, you want to arrest some people? They just arrested a pretty high-profile guy named Don Lemon. What do you think? Give me your initial reaction. We’ll give you all the reporting out of Los Angeles. And more. 1-800-655-MIKE. Welcome aboard. It’s Friday, January 30th, 2026. We’ve got a lot to cover today, but let’s start there. The arrest of Don Lemon. Get ready. I’m sure there’ll be a mugshot, won’t there? Whoa. What do you make of it all? Do you think this is as Christian Russell predicts? The greatest thing to happen to Don Lemon from his perspective? What’s your gut reaction to Don Lemon taken into custody over that church protest in Minneapolis? 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Join us. For years, I loved to break down the news, calling out Washington corruption, standing up for the values that make America strong. That means secure borders, limited government, economic freedom. Look, if you’re worried about what’s coming, and a lot of people are, you need to think about protecting yourself and your family with something real, something that can’t be printed out of thin air, something that doesn’t depend on corporate greed or government debt. SPEAKER 04 :
You know, I know we’re all on our sides. I know we all take sides. I understand that we don’t always agree with each other. I get all that. You know what’s really strange to me? You know, if you make the case, well, my side is right, your side is wrong. If you’re against ICE, here’s why you’re wrong. If you’re against law enforcement, here’s why you’re mistaken. If you’re for open borders, here’s why you’re wrong. You know what I mean? Let’s look at the shooting of Alex Preddy this last Saturday that we’ve been talking about all week. Our side is able to say, if that shooting is determined to be not justified, if those two men should not have killed Alex Preddy under the circumstances of that event last Saturday in broad daylight in Minneapolis, Minnesota, they should be held accountable. Our side is capable of doing that. Now, there are defenders, and we’ve all seen the video, and everybody’s taken a different look at it. And, you know, you get entitled to your own opinion. But I think reasonable people are able to say, look, if they were wrong, they’ve got to be held accountable. That’s our side. You know what their side says? ICE agents are Nazis. Their side says… I mean, their side is completely incapable of even looking at video and what actually happens and accurately characterizing it. The video that the BBC uncovered about Alex Preddy kicking out the taillight of a police vehicle or a law enforcement vehicle and getting wrestled to the ground. Now… Charlemagne Tha God is a very popular radio host in New York City. And he weighs in on all kinds of political items. He’s got a show called The Breakfast Club. You’ve seen the video of Alex Preddy spitting on officers, kicking out the taillight, vandalizing a car while having the gun in his waistband, by the way. You’ve seen the officers then, after he broke the taillight and damaged the car, they get out of the vehicle, take him to the ground, and then eventually let him go. Right? You’ve seen that video. How would you characterize that incident? All right, how would you describe that incident? Here is Charlemagne the God on his show saying he witnessed, I’m talking about video number one, not the day that he was shot and killed, but the previous incident where he kicked out the taillight, vandalized the car, spit on the officers and all of that. Listen to how Charlemagne the God described God. Both of these incidents.
SPEAKER 01 :
I mean, I don’t think it adds another layer at all. In fact, it makes the ICE agents look worse because we saw Alex Purdy get assaulted twice and not once did he reach for his gun. Not at all. Can ICE agents say the same? Not at all. You know what I’m saying? He got assaulted twice by ICE agents and not once did he reach for his gun that he had on him both times. Can ICE agents say the same? Not at all.
SPEAKER 04 :
Now stop that. Stop that. I witnessed ICE agents assault Alex Purdy twice. He thinks he’s characterizing a video that he saw with his own eyes. And he’s a smart guy. He’s not a dummy. He’s an intelligent man. He sees a video of Alex Preddy kicking out the taillight of a vehicle. They get out of the vehicle and take him to the ground. He calls that ICE agents assaulting Alex Preddy. Hey, Charlemagne the God. Go kick out a taillight of an NYPD cruiser sitting on Times Square with two officers inside the car. What do you think they’re going to do to you? They’re going to jump out of the car, and as you’re flailing about and resisting, they’re going to throw you to the ground. Is that officers assaulting you, or are you assaulting the officers? See, this is what makes me crazy. Otherwise, reasonable people can see a video that we’re all watching. I’m playing it right now on Salem News Channel. They didn’t assault Alex Preddy. They reacted to him kicking out the taillight of his car and spitting on him. And only when he kicked out the taillight do they get out of the vehicle and they take him to the ground. And Charlemagne the God claims that that’s an act of them assaulting him. What is wrong with people? And you know what he makes it out? The interesting thing is about talking about the gun. Oh, Alex Preddy never reached for the gun. Why didn’t they disarm him? You know, if he had been arrested… In the first incident, the first thing they would have done is confiscate his gun. Now, I know there’s a whole Second Amendment debate going on about all this with Alex Preddy. All of a sudden, people on the left are pro-guns. All of a sudden, these psycho-leftists sound like the National Rifle Association. I mean, all of a sudden now, oh, they’re pro-Second Amendment. Normally they blame the gun for everything. But when Alex Preddy has a loaded weapon, oh, his ability to keep and bear arms is sacrosanct. Isn’t that funny how that works? So when Charlemagne, the god, is complaining and whining about how, isn’t it wonderful that Alex Preddy never reached for his gun as he’s being assaulted by law enforcement? My question would be, why didn’t they arrest him and confiscate the gun? He’d be alive today. If he was arrested that first time, how do you not get arrested for kicking out the taillight of a law enforcement vehicle? Can you do that in New York City? Can you just go up with two officers sitting in the car, kick out the taillights, break the headlight, smash in a window and not get arrested? I’m not sure how that works. If you say you’re a protester, you’re a good Samaritan nurse, are you allowed to just do that kind of violence and not get arrested? Had he been arrested the first time, they would have absolutely confiscated his gun. I think. I don’t exactly know how this works, but I would assume. And if they confiscated his gun, you know how bureaucracy goes. He might not have gotten it back for a while. And if he hadn’t gotten the gun back and he showed up Saturday to interfere with law enforcement, there wouldn’t have been a gun in the picture and he wouldn’t have been killed. He’d be alive today. Isn’t it fascinating how all this works? Meanwhile, breaking news, if you haven’t heard, Don Lemon got arrested. Remember when these… agitators and activists stormed, what was it called? I think it’s called City’s Church in Minnesota. It was actually in St. Paul, Minnesota. City’s Church. And in the middle of the service, these lunatics go storming the church. Don Lemon’s all involved in it. He pretended he wasn’t, but he was, because he said before it happened it was going to happen. So he was involved. He live-streamed it. And it’s against the law to intimidate churchgoers. It’s called the FACE Act. Last night in Los Angeles, he was arrested. Apparently he’s still in custody, I think. I’ve got to believe if he was out, he’d be posting videos, wouldn’t he? So I’m sure he’s still behind bars. Don Lemon arrested along with three others. This is what accountability looks like. And when people complain that Pam Bondi isn’t making any arrests… Well, I guess you can throw that argument out the window. Now, there were judges and magistrates who were attempting to block the Justice Department’s ability to arrest him. And last week when that was revealed, Don Lemon took to his platform taunting the Justice Department and sort of spiking the football as if he was untouchable.
SPEAKER 03 :
So news organizations, stop selling out your journalists. Let them report on the news. Stop trying to move the journalism in the direction of Republicans or MAGA or this administration. And if you were trying to do it to the left, I would say the same thing, but that’s not what’s happening. Nobody’s trying to move anything to the left. Or you’re trying to move things to the right. It is, not only is it unseemly, it’s un-American. And you don’t deserve to be a journalist or in the business of journalism if you do that. So, look, I stand proud and I stand tall. This is not a victory lap for me because it’s not over. They’re going to try again and they’re going to try again. And guess what? Here I am. Keep trying. That’s not going to stop me from being a journalist. You’re not going to diminish my voice. Go ahead. Make me into the new Jimmy Kimmel if you want. Just do it.
SPEAKER 04 :
Because I’m not going anywhere. There you go. Not going to go anywhere. Make me the new Jimmy Kimmel. Ronnie’s in Nashville, Tennessee. Ronnie, what do you think?
SPEAKER 03 :
Thank you, President Trump. You made my weekend. I’m going to have a huge party this weekend.
SPEAKER 04 :
It’s amazing how creative Trump is. 800-655-MIKE. Here’s Scott, Providence, Rhode Island. Hey, Scott.
SPEAKER 05 :
Hi, how are you, buddy? Good, how are you? You’re a hilarious guy, just so you know.
SPEAKER 04 :
I’m funny even when I don’t want to be.
SPEAKER 05 :
You wake me up every morning. I love that. Thank you. A couple quick points. A couple quick points, and then I’m going to drop something good on you. Number one, he asked, should he be arrested for kicking the back end of the car? The Alex Petty guy. And, you know, when I was young, if I had five brothers growing up, and, you know, the police used to harass us a little bit because, you know, we’re a little wild, all boys. And we’d go in the backyard and they’d take off their weapons and their badge and we’d duke it out. And when it was all over, they left. But things are different today. We’re creating a society where everybody just wants to cry and ask for help and want to live free and that kind of thing. So that’s that. And the other thing is, you know, we can’t forget about the biblical side of it that’s being thrown into it. They call it political, but it’s biblical, a lot of it, even the people from Somalia and all that. They’re all sent here. It’s all about Israel, and that’s where it all stems from. And if you look back over time, you know, where are the Romans? Where are the Babylonians? Where is these? And, you know, Italy’s been wiped to – I mean, I’m sorry, Italy. Israel’s been wiped to pure rubble many times, and look at them now. They grow the most – Amazing things that no one could grow in this entire world. And that place has been left at dirt. Nothing but dirt. Time and time again. And they’re still there.
SPEAKER 04 :
All right, Scott. Nice to hear from you. 14 minutes before the hour. It’s a day. It’s Friday. Something in the air. 800-655-MIKE. Is losing weight getting harder and harder as you get older? SPEAKER 04 :
It feels like every single day this week we’ve got a ton of breaking news to digest, to absorb, to react to. You know, we’re all about breaking news and what to make of it all. The Attorney General, Pam Bondi, has been facing a lot of scrutiny lately for not affecting any arrests. The criticism for the AG is that she does a lot of Fox News Channel appearances and does a lot of press conferences, but not a lot of action. Well, at her direction, early this morning, federal agents arrested Don Lemon, Trahearne Jean Cruz, Georgia Fort, and Jamail Lindell Lundy. In connection with the coordinated attack on City’s Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, more details to come. I’m guessing Don Lemon is still in custody because I would imagine he’d put his face in front of a camera as quick as he can to claim that he’s a martyr and a victim of the dictatorial Trump administration. They’re charged with violating the FACE Act, which makes it a federal crime to intimidate people who are in a house of worship. And, of course, the question is going to become, is Don Lemon going to be absolved of his actions because he claims he’s a journalist? A lot going on here. And I tend to think this is going to be good for his business. But look, if the man winds up being convicted, if they wind up convicting him, he could spend some time in prison. Which… has got to be a pretty harrowing prospect for a guy who was seen living it up and partying last night in Los Angeles, beaming in photos with Busta Rhymes and dancing at a concert hours before federal authorities slapped him in handcuffs. He was decked out all in white, flashing a big smile beside Busta Rhymes as they posed for a picture together at the 2026 Recording Academy Honors ahead of Sunday’s Grammy Awards. So what started out as a fun night of partying for Don Lemon turned into, well, what would be a nightmare for Don. Normal people, but maybe when you’re an independent podcaster, it’s good for business. I’d like to find out what our pal Scott Jennings thinks about this. You know, Don Lemon used to be on CNN. He was fired. He went out and created his own media venture. Scott Jennings is on CNN almost nightly. as a regular contributor, and of course he’s one of the newest members of the Salem media team. I want to get Scott Jennings’ take because I think we’re going to be able to have a chance to visit with him. Here was Scott last night, by the way, reacting to Tom Holman’s press conference yesterday morning in Minneapolis. Remember when I said Tom Holman conducted a master class with that press conference, much of which we carried on this show? Maybe Scott was listening.
SPEAKER 02 :
I thought Holman’s press conference this morning was a master class. And it’s obvious that the president made a smart decision in sending him there to reset the situation. I think the president, no president wants to see chaos in any city for any reason. I mean, that’s not good for the country. It’s not good for a presidency. Holman has clearly already made a huge difference. He met with the local officials. This agreement that he has apparently with the attorney general, Ellison, about working to Ellie’s point with the county jails. That’s one of the things the White House has been asking for is some cooperation at the jails. This is clearly a step in the right direction. Now, as you pointed out, Abby, he’s still very much an immigration hardliner, and even though they are going to prioritize people who have other criminal issues, he said if you’re in the country illegally… You’re never off the table. And so he was also still signaling to the president’s supporters that, listen, we’re not backing down on the president’s priorities on illegal immigration. He also said today that he was very much aware of these organizations that are going on, these signal groups, these WhatsApp groups that are trying to organize the impeding of federal law enforcement. And he said he was very much looking into that. He was clearly very aware of that. I think that was good news. So overall. I agree with Ellie. If you believe that having less chaos and more efficiency in government and more cooperation is good, today was clearly a great day.
SPEAKER 04 :
Today was clearly a great day. Well, you know why it’s a good day for us, too? We’re going to talk to Scott Jennings because he’s going to join us next out of New York City. We’ll visit. We’ll talk about Minneapolis, Don Lemon, Trump’s Fed chair pick, and the Gulf of America cruise because Scott and I are going to be your friendly co-hosts aboard the Holland America’s Eurodam, November 14th through the 21st. If you love Scott Jennings, like all of us do, you’re not going to want to miss our segment next. Scott Jennings joins us live, coming up here in the Relief Factor Studios.
SPEAKER 07 :
Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 04 :
There’s a live look at Louisville, Kentucky on the Salem News Channel camera network, a place that our guest knows, our upcoming guest knows well. Of course, we’re heard every day on a great radio station in Louisville. We’re glad you’re listening, watching. Portions of our show are sponsored in part by conservatives for lower health care costs. As we get ready to welcome Scott Jennings back to the Mike Gallagher Show, let’s remember what an important year this is. This is the start of a pivotal midterm election year. Voters are watching to see who stands with President Trump and the progress made last year and who sides with special interests like Big Pharma. I shared a story a couple weeks ago. I had a friend of mine in New York, incidentally, got a case of COVID. His doctor prescribed Paxlovid. Both he and his wife got COVID. He went to the pharmacist to get Paxlovid, $1,600 for a five-day supply. Big Pharma and its huge army of lobbyists are working overtime to block real solutions to lowering prescription drug prices. President Trump is fighting hard to fix it. He’s not intimidated by Big Pharma, neither should Congress be. You need to join conservatives for lower health care costs and reject Big Pharma’s agenda, support real market solutions that support lower drug prices and a protection of consumer freedom. How do you do that? Real simple. Gallagher’s got the answer. Visit pharmawindfall.com. That’s it. Take a moment out of your day and visit pharmawindfall.com. That’s pharmawindfall.com. All right. He may be a big shot broadcaster. He’s on CNN all the time. He’s got a new show on Salem Media, Salem Radio Network, Salem News Channel. He’s a big hot shot broadcaster. But at the end, he’s ultimately my co-host on the Gulf of America cruise. What was the guy’s name on the love boat, Captain? Was it Captain Stubing? Captain Stubing. You got it. All right, Captain Stubing. You’re responsible for the luggage, okay? You make sure you check out the bags. I’ll make sure they get their midnight buffet taken care of. I mean, Scott, first of all, welcome back. We just played a clip of you last night on CNN talking about Minneapolis and all the chaos that’s been going on. Is it just me or did you sound a little, are you a little tired? I mean, I know you’re burning the candle at both ends. You can’t get sick on me, brother.
SPEAKER 02 :
No, I’m not tired. I’ve been fighting off a very, very serious cold and sinus infection this week. In fact, I had to take yesterday off from the radio show. Jen Horn filled in for me, and I thank her for doing that. But I’m back in the saddle today. More common sense for the American people. I did make it into CNN last night to deliver a few moments of rationality. On the show. And that was one of them. I agreed with your take, by the way, Mike. Holman was brilliant at that press conference and he was calm and it was just matter of fact. Here’s the facts. Here’s what I’m going to do. Here’s, you know, and obviously he has a lot of respect from people in both parties at various levels of government. So the president sending him there obviously is already paying off.
SPEAKER 04 :
Now, I don’t know if you’ve had any interactions with Don Lemon, who formerly was at CNN, but this is a big story. People finding out this morning that late last night in Los Angeles, he was arrested. He’s being charged along with three other anti-ICE protesters who stormed that church in St. Paul, Minnesota. Hey, give me the Scott Jennings perspective on the arrest of a guy like Don Lemon, who after being fired from CNN, went on to create his own sort of media platform or media environment. Scott, what’s your take? What’s your reaction to the news that Don Lemon was taken into custody last night in L.A.? ?
SPEAKER 02 :
Well, my immediate reaction was good. He deserves it because he clearly violated the Federal Face Act. He probably also violated the KKK Act, to be honest. I mean, you can’t go into a church. You can’t trespass like that and deprive someone else of their First Amendment rights, which is exactly what they were doing in that church. Now, you’re right. I do know Don Lemon. I haven’t spoken to him in a while. But, you know, Mike, I started with CNN back in 2017, and one of my first jobs there was to three to five nights a week appear on The Don Lemon Show. I’ve been on TV with Don Lemon literally hundreds of times. Wow. And so I had a longstanding relationship with him. Now, when he left CNN, when he was fired, we lost touch with each other. I’ve been a little dismayed at sort of what he’s devolved into. I’ve seen a lot of this man on the street, weird stuff that he’s been doing. It appears that the position on the left right now, the Democratic position, is that if you’re holding a cell phone or holding a camera of any kind, you’re basically immune from violating any federal laws. That’s what they think about these protesters in Minneapolis. As long as you’re holding a cell phone, you can lay hands on a federal officer. If you’re Don Lemon, as long as you’re holding a camera, you can violate someone’s rights in a church. I wonder, I wonder, would they apply the same thing to the people who were holding cell phones on, I don’t know, say January the 6th? Because their position is simply holding a camera gives you some kind of exalted and protected status. I don’t personally believe that, but that’s what Don Lemon says today is, well, I’m a journalist and I can do anything I want. I just don’t think that’s true.
SPEAKER 04 :
Abby Lowell, his attorney, is already turning this into a major showdown over First Amendment rights and journalist protection. Abby Lowell says this is one of the biggest attacks on the First Amendment we’ve ever seen. Lowell said in a statement, Don’s been a journalist for 30 years. The First Amendment exists to protect journalists like him. You make a really interesting point. You got a guy who’s been a CNN fixture for many years. He goes off on his own. He walks around with a selfie stick or even a camera crew. Having a camera in your hand doesn’t necessarily give you immunity from breaking the law.
SPEAKER 02 :
No, like what if you and I decided that we wanted to rob a bank and we said, well, let’s take a camera. You know, we’re members of the media. Let’s take a camera with us and go in and we’ll film it. And we’ll just say, you know, we’re just showing what it looks like when somebody tries to rob a bank. You know, we’re just journalists here. That’s crazy. You know, you wouldn’t get immunity for that. If you look at all the video footage that Don Lemon posted, he clearly had foreknowledge of what they were going to do. He was part of the group. He knew they were going to storm a church. By the way, it’s a church. It’s not a public square. I mean, you are trespassing on private property. I don’t know why he believes he should be immune from these federal laws. If you look at the FACE Act and you look at the KKK Act, What they did are clear, no questions asked violations of those acts. And, you know, simply having had a show on CNN at one time doesn’t give you lifelong immunity from violating federal laws. They’re trying to apply, though, these cell phone standards to these protesters in Minneapolis, Mike, you know, saying, oh, they’re filming, they’re filming. That gives them protected status. Well, Okay, if I walk up and stand in between a federal law enforcement officer and someone they’re trying to arrest, just because I’m having a cell phone doesn’t mean I’m not impeding federal law enforcement, which is a felony. And so I don’t know why they believe that simply holding a camera gives you immunity, but they’re about to find out that is not the case. And by the way, for those who are attacking this arrest as saying this is Trump retribution, remember, this is a federal grand jury made up of people from Minnesota who delivered this indictment. So this isn’t the president ordering someone to be arrested. These are a jury, a grand jury of Don Lemon’s peers who said, yep, you probably violated the law.
SPEAKER 04 :
Great point. Visiting with Scott Jennings, host of The Scott Jennings Show on Salem Radio Network, Salem News Channel, of course, CNN contributor. And real quick, final point on your – I think you make a great point about robbing a bank, the hypothetical robbing a bank. If you go apples to apples, if Don Lemon is tipped off, hey, we’re going to rob a bank over at 3rd and Main, and Don Lemon knew in advance – that those guys are going to go to the bank of whatever on 3rd and Main in an hour, and he posts, oh, there’s an operation I’m going to be a part of. I’m not going to tell you where we’re going, which is what he did. He knew in advance where they were going. And then he goes in with the bank robbers and is filming the bank robbery? I think he’s in a world of hurt, and that’s really an apples-to-apples scenario if, in fact, the Justice Department can prove its case. Hey, Scott, let… And I know you’re not feeling good. I wanted to grab you for a few minutes. I am over the moon about our cruise in November. And I’ve gotten to do a number of these cruises in the years that I’ve been with Salem. Seb Gorka and Larry Elder and Chris DeGaulle and many others, Joe Piscopo and I, have gotten to host these trips. There’s nothing like being with hundreds of like-minded people on a cruise ship, especially in a glorious itinerary like the Gulf of America cruise. We’re going to set sail out of Fort Lauderdale on November the 14th. We’re going to go to the Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Jamaica, Cozumel. And then at night, there’s a beautiful theater on this ship, Scott, which you’re going to love. It’s called the World Stage. And you and I are going to co-host events with our audience, with the people on the cruise. So you’re going to sightsee and you’re going to enjoy white, sandy beaches and beautiful, clear blue Caribbean waters by day. And at night, in addition to the great meals and all that, you and I are going to entertain our audience tonight. talking politics and the midterms and the Trump administration and all this stuff. I’m just so honored to co-host this cruise with you. I hope you’re half as excited as I am.
SPEAKER 02 :
I’m very excited. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to meeting the audience out here, the Salem audience. You know, I’ve been with the company since July, so we’ve been at it for a few months now. And I’ve done a couple of listener events. I did a big one in L.A. I did one in Chicago. And everywhere I go, I’m just so amazed at the loyalty of the Salem listeners, how much they love to engage with us as the hosts of these shows. I’m very grateful for the listeners. Without them, we don’t have these shows. And we don’t exist. And so to be able to go on a special cruise like this and also, Mike, to do it with you, you’re such a legend and you’ve been a real mentor to me since I joined the company. And so for us to do something like this together, to engage with this loyal audience, to do it on a ship, by the way, it’s amazing. These ships are immaculate. You’ll have a lot of fun. The food is terrific. It’s really going to be a special week. And, of course, by that time, we’ll know the results of the election. The 2028 presidential campaign, I’m sure, will have kicked off by then. I mean, who knows what else will be going on in the world for us to talk about. We’re going to have a blast, and I would really recommend, if you’ve ever thought about taking a cruise, this is the one to take. Mike Gallagher, I understand you’re going to get on the announcer horn every morning. You’ll be like the cruise director. You’ll be like, today’s activities include… Pick the shirtless pickle with Mike Gallagher, 10 a.m. on the Lido check.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s your job. That’s your job, Captain Steuben. What I’ll do is I’ll perform. It’s an annual tradition, and I know it’s cringy and it’s embarrassing, but I’ve got to do it. I’ll be singing Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat at least one night, and complete with orchestrations. So you’ll be able to roll your eyes in the background as I’m singing sit down, you’re rocking the boat. Hey, text the keyword cruise to 94878, and we’ll send you back the link.
