You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 08 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 16 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did! Get a job, Turk! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 13 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 20 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 11 :
Filling in is Andy Pate, party of choice. And I’m your host, Andy Pate, filling in for John Rush today. He is still on vacay, which is a pretty great thing for him. Alongside me today, I have Tanner Cole.
SPEAKER 17 :
Man.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s right. We are ready to go. And on the line right now, we’ve got our new state Colorado Republican state chair. That is Britta Horn. Britta, how are you today? I am very well. How are you today? I’m doing very well. And, Britta, I felt it important to remind you. You know, I’m on the state central committee. I voted for you, so I think it’s safe to say you owe all your success to me. Oh, there you go. I mean, I know there are some other people who voted for you, too, but I really think that mine was pivotal. And just so you know, don’t worry about it. Elon sent me a check. Oh, did he? Yeah, he was really behind you.
SPEAKER 19 :
He did send me one.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, he felt that your vote was kind of in the bag, and so he was pretty confident of that. But, you know, with me, I held out. I held out. I appreciate you.
SPEAKER 19 :
What was the final number? All I know is we won by 29 votes, and that’s what matters.
SPEAKER 11 :
Hey, you did great. Because I voted 30 times. So there you go. Put you over the top. Okay, first of all, how is the transition going? I know you’ve got to get into your new digs down there. You’ve got a great team, got a great vice chair, got a great secretary, just a great team in place. How’s it going?
SPEAKER 19 :
It’s going really well. And when you say new digs, I guess, you know, definitely we can pause about that because I want to talk about all the different regional offices. But, you know, we got in there. We saw that, you know, what needs to be moved and not because maybe people don’t know. When we got to the office about I think it was like a week before when all the candidates were we’re all still candidates a week before the election. Yeah. Dave Williams sent out a letter saying, oh, the lease isn’t being renewed. And you got two more months and that’s it. So that wasn’t too bad for us to hear from our part, our team, because we were already talking about regional offices, you know, using the, you know, the I-70 and I-25 lines and try to get four corridors, you know, four corners to get regional offices. Because we felt like there was a bigger issue about having offices across the state. So everybody everything’s local because we all know politics is local and regional. So we were always on that path anyway. So now, you know, looking at what’s in the office, what’s in storage, you know, we have a little bit over a month and we’re going to have to start moving things around and moving, you know, furniture and all that kind of stuff. And we’re looking forward to that because I think the fresh new start is going to definitely be in these regional offices. And we’re already looking around the state, looking for places to have our offices.
SPEAKER 11 :
I mean, do you need, you know, some arms to help carry things? I am an expert. I’m an expert at unskilled labor.
SPEAKER 19 :
We will definitely be doing that. Y’all come with a pickup truck and some lifting abilities. And we’re going to start moving some stuff here again, probably like mid next month. We’ll start moving stuff. And hopefully the whole plan in my head, you know, it’s working out already with a couple of places. Hopefully we’ll have three or four places already being able to let everybody know about. And then we could say, OK, this truck’s going there and this truck is going there. I mean, like, you know, just kind of divide it all up and let’s not put anything in storage. Let’s just move and get to our new digs and start the brand new Republican process of using regional offices and having regional local people help with us.
SPEAKER 11 :
Where will the office be in the Denver metro?
SPEAKER 19 :
So that one’s going to probably be the fifth one. You know what I mean? I think we’re going to definitely make sure we get the four quarters. But, you know, I don’t know, Endeavor, because it didn’t seem like a Glenwood Village, you know, anybody was using it. It was far enough south. You know, I just didn’t. I heard, like, one county group, you know, used it, and they came down from, I think, Arapahoe. You know what I mean? Like, they had to cross town and go to the other side. So I’m thinking, you know, we’ll have something a little bit more closer. Maybe we should have something during the 120 days next year.
SPEAKER 11 :
closer to the capitol i don’t know maybe um i think it’d be a great idea but i don’t know i don’t know i’d have to see the numbers but um let me ask you this there are i’m going to give you my opinion here there are some supporters of the old leadership who seem to believe your main job should be issuing statements about whatever the democrats do at the state capitol i mean seriously they i think they think that is your main job now i’m just gonna give my opinion It’s not yours. It’s mine. Personally, I don’t care. OK, you can issue statements. That’s great. And you’ll do a very good job at it. And Daryl does a great job at it. But statements don’t change a thing. Electing more Republicans is all that matters. But that said, what are some issues where you’ve weighed in?
SPEAKER 19 :
OK, so you’re absolutely right, because the issues that really matter exactly what our platform’s been from the very beginning. It’s about electing more Republicans, growing the party and fundraising and getting massive amounts of money for both one and two. So when people ask me about weighing in on statements, you’re right. I’m just really looking at what the people we’ve already elected. What do they need help with? How can I help them? It’s going to always be going to be the parenting issues that are going on now. Obviously, the Tabor issue. Obviously, I’m 2A. Obviously, I’m 1A, you know, First Amendment rights. I mean, I’m obviously pro-life. I’m anti-abortion. It doesn’t matter. Those things, like I said, they don’t matter what I say because I need to find… Candidates and electeds, they’re going to say that and what’s important to the state. And that’s where you start doing policy.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, because, you see, that’s the thing I haven’t really understood. I mean, they’ve been, and for those who wonder, Andy, why are you even asking this, okay? Sorry, a little bit of inside baseball for the listeners here. I’m on Facebook a lot, okay? And I see these folks, and they are everywhere across the state whining about, well, why haven’t we seen a statement on this? Why haven’t we seen a statement on that? I’m like… Who cares? I’m sorry, but a statement from the state chair of the Colorado Republican Party. No offense, Britta, but you’re not elected. You’re not legislating anything. You’re not affecting anything. And I already know you’re right wing. So what are you supposed to do? Come out there and say, oh, by the way, I’m right wing. I’m not quite sure what they mean by this. Look. You don’t the rubber doesn’t hit the road. You don’t accomplish anything until you help Republicans get elected and actually affect those things. I mean, it’s nice that you make statements. And by the way, I’ve seen some of them and they’re very good. OK, Daryl, of course, is a marvelous writer. And so is your your your secretary. But, you know, but it doesn’t move the needle for Republicans.
SPEAKER 19 :
It doesn’t move the needle. Nobody’s going to go, oh, it’s the chairs, you know, for this or against this. Oh, I better vote Republican. No, there already are. They’re not. Or I need to let them know, like, you know, hey, we’re actually just looking for new candidates and we’re looking for American, you know, Colorado first new candidates. Because I’d rather talk to you about. The issues of there’s so many disenfranchised people, not only independents, but all the Democrats that are leaving the party. They’re looking for a place to go. I see them on Facebook. I’m talking to them on Facebook. I’m talking to them on TikTok. We’re finding this new generation. Oh, boy, these Gen Z, they’re the ones that pushed us over a million here in Colorado. Didn’t I just read that one article? We went from 900,000 to 1.2. Two million Republicans like we got in the last six months. We’ve gotten more Republicans five months. Yeah, it’s going better.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, you know, here’s the thing. And by the way, you said something I really like there. America first, Colorado first, because I think it’s time for more Colorado voters to understand that America first is Colorado first. OK, and let me give you a quick example of that. Obviously, Trump with his trade deals. Now, we knew that the initial time was going to be very painful. Right. We’re transitioning the America’s place in the global stage in trade deals. But what’s going to be coming over the next couple of months are trade deals. And every single one of them is going to sit America in a much better place with that country. than we had before, okay? That country will have much lower tariffs on us than they had previously. It’s going to be a win. And so what I’m saying is Trump’s going to be reeling out win after win after win after win after win after win. My question is, how are we going to capitalize on that? Do you think that our candidates will be prepared to come to the Colorado people and say, look, this is why America first is Colorado first. These trade deals are going to help you and make your life better.
SPEAKER 19 :
Right. Exactly. Exactly. And I think, you know, when you talk about if you’re going to say, I’m going to have any statements, I’m going to go back to that. If we’re going to go ahead and any statements and what maybe we should do, what America is concerned about and what Colorado is concerned about. How about the crime that’s going on in Colorado? You know, how about, you know, all the border stuff and how we’re finding now Democrats, you know, they’d rather side with M-13 people, you know, and trend a ragwai people than they are about their own citizens. Why don’t we talk about the economy in Colorado and the cost of things? And, yes, sure, the egg prices went down, but what about everything else that’s so much more expensive here? And what about just living in Colorado? Maybe we have to find a better culture to live in Colorado. I mean, those things are the issues that are important to Colorado, and they do go broad stroke across America because that’s what everybody’s happy that Trump is president now because of that.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I agree. I think there’s a real opening for us to win back some seats here in Colorado. And the simple reason is this. Colorado voters vote Democrat, but they don’t believe Democrat. OK, they believe that the Democrat Party is for them. And what they don’t understand is the Democrat Party again and again and again and again and again stands against what they want. Case in point. OK, they Colorado voters voted overwhelmingly in favor of continuing development of oil and gas in Colorado. Polish shut it down with the Democrats down at the Capitol. They do this all the time. And the Republicans actually hold views that are much closer to Colorado voters. And I think it’s going to be so important for us. Look, you don’t want to be taking shots at the previous leadership. That’s okay. But that’s my job. I’m a radio host, okay? So I’m going to. The previous leadership focused on a lot of things that nobody in the state cared about. OK, the state, the voters across the state don’t care about open primaries. No offense, but they don’t. OK, and I understand your support for that lawsuit against it. And that’s great. I think that’s great. But I mean, making it your big case every single day in, day out, day in, day out. They don’t care. OK, the voter, the voters in the state don’t live and die by 2020 being a steal, a stolen election. They don’t care. The voters in the state don’t care about the things that were pushed nonstop by your predecessors. OK, and I think that put us out of touch with the Colorado voters. How are you going to put us in touch?
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, I think I appreciate that. And you’re right. We’re the happy warrior. We’re going to go look at, like you said, all the transition, the things we need to show about the past. But we’re going to turn around and work outside the tent. You know, you talk about these five hundred eight people that are part of the central committee, that all the people that I called to make sure they would vote for us. And I’m like, you need to do a 180, do a turnaround, start making this tent bigger and go finding more voters because that’s the only way we’re going to win. We need a million other voters. We need 250,000 that didn’t vote in November. We got a message to them when they’re asking me what we’re going to do. We’ve got to find messaging that resonates to them to feel like the active voters of Republicans should go vote. We need to find out the independents, you know, the right-leaning independents, 300,000 of them. It’s 60% of the independents.
SPEAKER 11 :
Sorry, you dropped out there, Britt. Are you there?
SPEAKER 19 :
Are you back? Am I back?
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, okay, you’re back. I’m sorry. You suddenly dropped out.
SPEAKER 19 :
That was crazy. I’ve got a voiceover. So anyway, so yeah, so we had 300,000 independents that we have to reach out to and speak to and then find even more. We need another million people to win anything. Nobody, I mean, we’ve got to start saying, Andrew, maybe we have to do a hashtag. MassMatters. You’ve got to do the math. At 23% of the state, you can’t win anything. No. We’ve got to find more people to vote so we can win, so we can change these policies and have these statements and have these positions and have, you know, some more people down at the Capitol helping fight the good fight.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah. You know, and the big thing is right now, the major issues of the day, The polls go our way, Britta. They really go our way. People want, you know, dangerous illegal immigrants out of our communities. They do. They want them deported. People do not want men and women’s sports. OK, they don’t want to see a guy beating up a girl in the boxing ring. OK, people side with us. And I really think there’s an opening. And I think because you have such a positive approach, I think that opening can be finally capitalized on. Here’s my last question. What’s your message to all Colorado Republicans? I mean, besides, of course, thanking Andy Pate for voting you in. I mean, that’s that’s obviously. Do you need a wall sides picture of me for the office? You know, I’m not pushing it. I’m just saying, you know, there’s a possibility just to, you know, liven up the place. You’re adorable. Okay.
SPEAKER 19 :
So here’s the message. I know we’re going to run out of time. So here’s the message.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yes, go ahead.
SPEAKER 19 :
You know, get involved. Get involved in your local, you know, school boards. We have off-year elections right now, school boards. We have the fire boards. We have all the, you know, the, all the different white electric companies. We have all these power boards. We have all these other boards we have got to get on. So get involved, get involved locally. And if it’s, what do they call it? It’s They’re not they’re nonpartisan. Still get involved because your voice matters. SPEAKER 11 :
And if I can throw in one last recommendation for everybody. Donate. I’ll be donating. Let me get through tax season first. But I’m going to be donating. I’m sure a lot of people want to. Folks, you have great leadership now. They love you. They love all sections of the Republican Party. They’re advancing your cause. Donate. Get them the money to help the candidates win. Right, Britta?

SPEAKER 08 :
God. Country. Reason. Now back to John Rush.
SPEAKER 11 :
And welcome back to Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560, Andy Pate filling in for John Rush, along with Tanner Cole. Man. Okay, Tanner, we’ve got to catch up a little on some news, just a little bit here and there. In case you hadn’t heard, at the Easter Egg Roll at the White House, Kristi Noem, that’s the Department of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, she was robbed while eating dinner there. Did you hear about this?
SPEAKER 17 :
I didn’t until you told me and I looked it up, and I didn’t realize it was even at the White House. That’s even scarier.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, that’s what it says. It was a restaurant associated with it or something like that. It was at a restaurant. Okay, got it. So anyway, she was asked about it. The thief got away with Noam’s driver’s license, medication, apartment keys, passport, DHS access badge, makeup bag, blank checks, and about $3,000 in cash.
SPEAKER 17 :
So that’s a nightmare.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s a nightmare. But there is some karma here on tape. They showed that the guy threw out his shoulder trying to lift her makeup bag. I’m kidding. No, I’m kidding, folks. She’s a lovely lady.
SPEAKER 17 :
It’s still kind of shocking because you’re not letting anyone into the restaurant that doesn’t have a reservation, most likely. If she’s there, it’s probably a pretty nice restaurant on Easter associated with the White House. So I’m thinking it could have been the staff, but does the staff even know who she is?
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, you got to keep in mind, if you’re a staff member, are you going to do that? Because you’re probably on, the whole place is on film.
SPEAKER 17 :
Right.
SPEAKER 11 :
So I would think it was somebody covered up, right? Look, it’s an activist, most likely. I mean, this is somebody who targeted the Republicans and probably wanted to target her.
SPEAKER 17 :
Do they have any footage? Maybe they haven’t released it yet since it’s only been two days.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, they’re probably looking into it. I’m trying to see here.
SPEAKER 17 :
I mean, but now her and her family.
SPEAKER 11 :
I don’t see anything about footage.
SPEAKER 17 :
I mean, apartment keys, access to the White House. There’s a lot of things there. The $3,000 cash doesn’t matter. They have her address and her keys.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, yeah, but they immediately canceled, rekeyed and updated everything. So, you know, but it’s still just these people are crazy.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 11 :
Look, I mean, look, we hated losing for the last four years. We were very angry about Biden being in the White House because, oh, you know, he was kind of destroying the entire country and allowing us in the world and allowing us to be invaded and had wars jumping up all over the world in other parts of the world. It’s like, look, but we didn’t go robbing people. We didn’t burn their cars. We didn’t shoot them. We didn’t do these things. The left is crazy, and the left is dangerous, and the left is lawless.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yep.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, and that’s what I have to say about that. Now, a little example of the left also being lawless, and oh, I just killed the article. That’s okay. I pretty much remember a Denver judge has now ruled that the Trump administration, and I don’t have it right in front of me, but basically, if they want to remove Venezuelans here in Colorado… and have them deported, they have to go through 21 days of first notifying and give them their due process for 21 days. And I want to ask you something. I mean, think about this for a moment. Joe Biden allowed.
SPEAKER 17 :
Right.
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s they say 11 million. Come on. You know, that’s it was 20.
SPEAKER 17 :
It might be down to 18. Yeah.
SPEAKER 11 :
Who knows? Right.
SPEAKER 17 :
Some left and we’ve kicked some out.
SPEAKER 11 :
OK, so did when these people come came in, did they come in through due process? No. How quickly was each one able to come in instantly? They walked right in.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, they opened the wall and they just walked in. You saw them running across the border. There’s 600 at a time.
SPEAKER 11 :
They even had an app where they were having them fly in and then check in and then say, oh, you check in later, which, of course, they never will come in for their court date.
SPEAKER 17 :
I think they also had an app where they could sign up for Social Security, credit cards, whatever else they need, cash.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, yeah. So let me ask you something. If you come here illegally or stay illegally, haven’t you already ignored due process?
SPEAKER 17 :
That’s two laws broken.
SPEAKER 11 :
Right. So you ignore due process coming in, which means, and here’s, here’s why I’m talking about this folks, not just their hypocrisy in demanding due process. That’s obvious. Okay. But just time, how long does it take to process somebody fully process and make sure why that their case has been looked over all these different ways and, and you’ll make sure that they should not be here and make sure that this is where they should go. Okay. So you’ve got a lawless president, Joe Biden, who had 20 million, we’ll say, 15, 20, whatever, millions and millions and millions invade us overnight. I mean, four years is overnight. And they flooded in with no due process whatsoever. And none of these judges like this activist judge complaining about it and having to spend no time with the system now. But to remove each and every one, to get them out, we have to go through due process. You realize how many years it would take for Donald Trump to enforce the law because these guys didn’t enforce any due process with Joe Biden breaking the law. So he didn’t have to take any time in breaking the law. In fact, he sped their way in.
SPEAKER 17 :
He flew them in on his own jet?
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, using their app. He basically used ICE. He used the Border Patrol basically as escorts. All they were doing was contacting them, letting them in.
SPEAKER 17 :
They became the cartel.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah. Did they go through a 20… Did the Border Patrol tell each one of them, hey, first you’re going to have to go through a 20-day period… 21 day period. And you’re going to have to go through due process so we can see that you should, that you belong going here. No. So going in, there was no due process. There was no delay. There was nothing. So to break the law, no due process to enforce the law 21 days each. This is ridiculous.
SPEAKER 17 :
It’s unbelievable.
SPEAKER 11 :
This is ridiculous. And how dare the Supreme Court, 7-2 decision, by the way, how dare they support this kind of thing? Because you can say, well, but we’re a nation of loss. We’re a nation of loss. Hey, we were invaded. Do you guys understand? We were invaded. Okay? This is war. Do you guys understand? You can’t give everybody all the benefits of the American legal system and due process and everything because it takes too much time. We don’t have enough judges. We don’t have enough lawyers. We don’t have enough. We don’t have enough money.
SPEAKER 17 :
Right.
SPEAKER 11 :
Why are we having to go through all this to get them out when they went through nothing to get them in? That’s my question. You go.
SPEAKER 17 :
Well, let’s say there’s 100,000 here, which I’m sure there’s more. And not just Venezuelans. There’s Mexicans, Hondurans, whatever it may be.
SPEAKER 11 :
Right, this case was about Venezuelans. But yeah, they’ll simply extend it to someone else.
SPEAKER 17 :
So let’s say we have 100,000. We’re going to have 100,000 trials. You know how long that will take? How many judges, lawyers, resources, money that goes into that? I mean, in just NBC News, and we know they’re not on our side, they said… The judge, Charlotte Sweeney, the act.
SPEAKER 11 :
The lawless activist.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, she’s in a robe. Right. She’s calling on the 1798 Aliens Enemies Act. And sure enough, even the NBC News Post. Oh, well.
SPEAKER 11 :
She’s responding to his use. Oh, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER 17 :
This article doesn’t really say that they’re in favor of what Sweeney’s doing. I think people are finally starting to realize. I mean, you see what’s happening in Ireland. Conor McGregor just talked about it on national news. They don’t even have their culture anymore. They’ve lost that. And they’re a smaller country. But look at what we’ve turned into. I mean, even just a year ago when Venezuelan was free, the whole streets of Denver – I don’t know if everyone saw this – But I heard it for an hour straight, Venezuelans honking their horns, yelling freedom, we’re free, and they’re not going back there. Now we’ve turned into a lawless land where we’re not even the ruling class anymore.
SPEAKER 11 :
We’ve made it instantaneous and easy to break the law and impossible and very, very long to enforce the law. Hey, on the line, we’ve got Jersey Joe wants to weigh in on this. Joe, what do you think?
SPEAKER 06 :
Gentlemen, and to Tanner’s point about how many judges… You’re familiar with the Cloward-Piven strategy about overwhelming the system?
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, overwhelm the system.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, let me tell you how Biden facilitated that. A little background. You know, if you get off a plane at JFK or you get off a cruise ship at Miami and you don’t have a visa or they find your visa is fake or whatever, you know that immigration officials can turn your right around and say you’re going back on the next plane out or the next ship out. Right. You don’t get to go before an administrative law judge. that’s under the Immigration and Naturalization Act that’s called expedited removal. So you don’t get to see a judge, but here’s how that expedited, under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, that expedited removal process can only be used within 100 miles of the border, of our international border, and within the first 14 days of arrival. But that’s why an immigration official, by the way, It even applies without a visa. If you’re driving into the United States from Canada and the immigration official says, you know, what’s your purpose? And you say tourism. And he looks in the back of your SUV and you have everything your own, pots, pans, frying pans, your desktop computer. He’s going to look that you have all your worldly goods in the back of the SUV and say, no, you’re not here for tourism. We’re not admitting you. And he can all by himself without a judge. Deport you. I mean, you’re already on American soil. He can deport you now. Yeah, but Biden shut all that down. He shut all that down. He shut the 14 days down, number one. And then he started. It wasn’t just Governor Abbott. He started flying people or giving them bus tickets to destinations that were more than 100 miles. So between going beyond the 14 day limit and moving people to the inland inland of our country, he took away that expedited removal process. which is where we are, where we are today. You know, I’m just wondering if it wasn’t Joe Biden doing it calculated, if it wasn’t people on his staff.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, it was. Look, he was a puppet, but the people on his staff, those activists understood. Cloward and Piven overwhelmed the system. Now we got too many people. Now what they want us to do is all of a sudden we need due process and long, drawn out processes for every single one to get them out. Joe, it is insane.
SPEAKER 06 :
It is. But had we been using the expedited removal, which is by what we wouldn’t be where we are today. I mean, if they were, you know, they would be watching these people coming across the river and they would be arresting them literally on the spot. They’re soaking what they came across the center, the Rio Grande. OK, you’re in custody. We’re going to prosecute you. They could have processed them and turned them back and taken them right back to the bridge and sent them. said start walking south. They could have done that then had Biden permitted that. Of course. Biden didn’t permit them to exercise the expedited removal process of our Immigration and Naturalization Act, which is, to Tanner’s point, why we’re in the mess we are today.
SPEAKER 11 :
Joe, it’s the oldest story in the book, and let me close with this because we’ve got to go to break here. But these judges hate America. Mm-hmm. They hate Trump. They hate America first. They hate Trump and they hate the Republican Party and they love Democrat activism. So if you are the referee in a game and you let one side break all the rules and the other side has to follow all the rules, who’s going to win, Joe?
SPEAKER 06 :
It’s called asymmetrical warfare.
SPEAKER 11 :
Thank you.
SPEAKER 06 :
Thank you. You can’t win in an asymmetrical fight when one side’s
SPEAKER 11 :
following the rules and the other side isn’t yeah and that’s where we are they ignored they ignored due process to come in they ignored due process the whole time and now they get to demand due process excuse me i everything’s insane are you going to be back in hour three i’ll be back uh if the price is right andy i’ll be back i’ll think about it yeah well you know we’re working on it we’re we’ve got to go fund me okay all right it’s called joe joe fun joe okay we’ll get back to you thanks joe we’ll see you then All right, let’s take a break. After the break, we’re going to talk a little about the… NFL Draft. That’s right, because tomorrow is our NFL Draft show, but that’s going to be three guys going way in-depth. You are going to give a 30,000-foot view and whip us through the first round.
SPEAKER 17 :
Instead, we have pick for pick. They will all be right.
SPEAKER 11 :
Tanner Coleman. Yeah, exactly. So tomorrow’s show won’t even be needed. Can I say one thing?
SPEAKER 17 :
Go ahead. The 1798 Aliens Act is only supposed to be used during wartime, and I remember that just from the history classes. Are we not in a war against about five countries that have invaded us, let alone the other countries around the world that hate us right now?
SPEAKER 11 :
Absolutely, and their warriors are the cartels and the gangs that are pledged to them.
SPEAKER 17 :
Why the Venezuelan, the most, out of any of the people from countries that have come here, the Venezuelans have probably been the most criticized because of Trende Agua, or however you say it.
SPEAKER 11 :
And we want to protect the gang members? You know, when you pull fingernails off people, you tend to get criticized. I know that’s shocking. Okay, let’s take a break. We’ll come back. We’ll lighten it up a little. Sound good? Sounds good. Because, you know, I’m getting too heated.
SPEAKER 17 :
Let’s make some Americans’ lives better through the NFL draft instead of, you know, some non-Americans.
SPEAKER 11 :

SPEAKER 08 :
The best export we have is common sense. You’re listening to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 11 :
And welcome back to Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Okay, Tanner, two quick questions here. Number one, can you fix the Broncos?
SPEAKER 17 :
I think they’re ready to rock. Yeah, they’re a great team.
SPEAKER 11 :
And number two, more importantly, can you fix John and Cheyenne’s New York Giants at number three?
SPEAKER 17 :
Well, I can, but I think their player might be gone before that.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, well, here we go. Start us off. Who was up first?
SPEAKER 17 :
Well, the books, everyone who watches football has Cam Ward going the Titans. I think he’s minus 10,000 or something. It’s a done deal. He’s the best quarterback. They need a quarterback. Will Levis can’t do it.
SPEAKER 11 :
I agree. What’s number two?
SPEAKER 17 :
I think the Browns get it right. I think Garrett kind of signed that new contract just because they promised him they’ll get Abdul Carter and have two great bookends, and it’s going to be unstoppable and great to watch. Other than the rest of the team, it might not be fun to watch, but Abdul Carter and Miles Garrett will be.
SPEAKER 11 :
I think Abdul Carter is going to be unbelievable. However, I would take him at number two. However, I can already tell you that’s not who I’m predicting because I think the Browns are stupid.
SPEAKER 17 :
And they’re going to take Travis.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, that’s what I think. Okay, go Giants, number three.
SPEAKER 17 :
Travis. I mean, they have to take Abdul or Travis Hunter. Those two picks, unless one of them takes Shador, which I doubt they will.
SPEAKER 11 :
You see, but aren’t the Giants in the easiest place ever? I think so. The two best players in the draft are Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter. Wonderful players. Guys, folks, if you’re listening, they’re going to be superstars in year one, and the Giants get to sit there and take whoever comes to them and pay them less.
SPEAKER 17 :
And if they don’t get Abdul Carter, they still have a great pass rush and great front seven. So Travis Hunter works regardless.
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s a win-win. Okay, number four, we have the New England Patriots. There’s no Tom Brady anymore. What are they going to do?
SPEAKER 17 :
Their O-line’s not the best, so I have them taking Will Campbell. They could also surprise the Jets and take Armand Membo, the Mizzou tackle.
SPEAKER 11 :
Wow. Okay, yeah. I think that’s very possible. Membo is an animal. That guy is something. He’s really impressive. Okay, at number five is the Jacksonville Jaguars. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
Originally, they had Mason Graham. I still think it’s going to be Mason Graham, but the odds have changed. There’s a lot of people thinking Jenty might go the Jaguars, which I don’t know. I’d rather have that than the Raiders.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, you know what? If I’m the Raiders, I’m feeling like the Giants there. Whoever you don’t take, I take the other one between Mason Graham and Jenty, who are going to be stars in the NFL.
SPEAKER 17 :
Jenty might be a pro bowler most likely his first year.
SPEAKER 11 :
Mason Graham is a defensive tackle who will blow up an offensive line. And Jenty is the best running back maybe that we’ve seen since Marshall Falk. I mean, this guy is fantastic.
SPEAKER 17 :
I mean, I’m a huge born and raised Boise State fan, so I’ve seen him for the past three years. I’m in love with him.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, now you’ve got to help the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets, those poor Jets. Fix them, will you?
SPEAKER 17 :
I have Armand Membo go in there, offensive tackle. They signed Justin Fields, so bringing in a rookie quarterback doesn’t really make sense at a seven spot. If you take a third round, fourth round, fifth round later, it’s fine. Totally agree. Go get offensive tackle. Let Justin Fields work. They have Garrett Wilson still, Brees Hall. They’ll be fine.
SPEAKER 11 :
And for those who don’t know who Armand Membo is, folks, he’s a man-child.
SPEAKER 17 :
Oh, yeah. He’s the Joe Alt of this draft for me.
SPEAKER 11 :
He is like the right side of your offensive line.
SPEAKER 17 :
All of it. You don’t need anyone else.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, he’s incredible. Okay, the next team. Oh, I feel sorry for these guys. The Carolina Panthers. Oh, they’re a mess. Fix them.
SPEAKER 17 :
I wanted to take McMillan here, but I decided to take Jalen Walker. A pass rusher is just a little more valuable, especially in this draft. There’s a lot of them. Might as well get the second best one.
SPEAKER 11 :
Every now and then, who’s the great linebacker that the Broncos had for many years here?
SPEAKER 17 :
Von Miller.
SPEAKER 11 :
Von Miller. Did you notice Von Miller was always everywhere on the field at once? Oh, yeah. I swear there were 11 guys out there with Miller on the back of their jersey. Well, that’s what this guy reminds me of. I’m not saying Jalen Walker is as good as Von Miller, but he’s that type of player. He’s everywhere.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, I think he’s an athletic beast, and he’ll only get better.
SPEAKER 11 :
I agree. Okay, next, the Saints, the New Orleans Saints. They have a need that came up recently.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, Derek Carr doesn’t seem to be ready for this year, maybe not at all. And after last year and the year, I mean, he just hasn’t done anything for the Saints. They won two big games to start, and he hasn’t done anything since. I think Kellen Moore, another Boise State guy, he’s a head coach now. He didn’t get drafted. He was one of the best quarterbacks when he played in college. He just had not as strong of an arm. That’s kind of Shador Sanders. I kind of think it will be a perfect match.
SPEAKER 11 :
Shadour Sanders is a dead-eye accurate quarterback without a big arm, and he’s not super athletic, but he is, well, you know who else? Drew Brees, who was there with New Orleans for many years. I mean, it’s like Drew Brees coming back to the team, and his name is Shadour.
SPEAKER 17 :
Get those three guys in a room together, and I think Shadour will do really well.
SPEAKER 11 :
He’ll go nuts down there in the Dome.
SPEAKER 17 :
Right, and I think Dion would like that.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, the next team is the Chicago Bears. Now, do me a favor and give them a terrible player. Because I’m a Packer fan. Can you ruin the Bears for me?
SPEAKER 17 :
Well, I had the Raiders ending up taking Mikkel Williams out of Georgia, so I put Jenty in the Bears’ spot.
SPEAKER 11 :
Wait, wait, wait. The Raiders? I thought you gave them Jenty.
SPEAKER 17 :
I said it seems like he’s going there, but I never even gave the pick. I think Mikkel Williams with Max Crosby would be amazing. Oh, yeah. Wow. Well, I also don’t want Jenty to go to the Chargers division and the Raiders to ruin him.
SPEAKER 11 :
Look, I’m telling you right now, the Raiders are going to take Jenty if they don’t, and I said this yesterday, fire their entire front office if they don’t take Jenty. But, okay, so you’re going to put Jenty in my division with the Bears. How dare you? We’re not friends anymore. Okay, next, San Francisco 49ers. They need everything because everything left.
SPEAKER 17 :
They lost Dre Greenlaw as well as, I’m not even going to try to pronounce the first name, Hufanga, their safety. I think they lost a corner, too.
SPEAKER 11 :
They lost so many players.
SPEAKER 17 :
I have them taking Chiad Campbell to fill that Dre Greenlaw loss. It’s still Fred Warner, but I think that tandem would be amazing in the center of the field.
SPEAKER 11 :
Campbell is another one of those everywhere guys.
SPEAKER 17 :
Right, and they could trade back. The 49ers wouldn’t be – I think it would be smarter for them to trade back.
SPEAKER 11 :
I think they should, too. I agree. They need more help. Okay, here’s somebody who has been struggling lately, the Dallas Cowboys. Now, they need a lineman, offensive lineman. They need a wide receiver who can move. They need a lot.
SPEAKER 17 :
They need a corner. Yeah. Yeah, they need a corner. Maybe a tight end, too, offensive line. Maybe a running back even. I went with McMillan here. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jihad Barron from Texas as well.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, and for those who are listening, his name is Tedaroa McMillan, and this guy is another man, child. He’s a wide receiver. He’s almost 6’5″, but he’s got the wingspan of a condor, and he catches everything.
SPEAKER 17 :
He’s Hawaiian Mike Evans.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yes. I mean, he’s something. Okay, at number 13, got the Miami Dolphins. They’ve kind of come on hard times. Get them some help.
SPEAKER 17 :
I think their offensive tackle retired. However, I think they’re going to trade Jalen Ramsey and maybe get a second-round pick out of that. So I have them taking Will Johnson here to replace him.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, so in other words, trading their all-pro corner.
SPEAKER 17 :
Right, who costs $30 million or something.
SPEAKER 11 :
And drafting a new one.
SPEAKER 17 :
Right.
SPEAKER 11 :
All right, all right. I like Will. That’s a good one. Okay, this is an easy pick. The Indianapolis Colts, we all know they need a tight end. Good one.
SPEAKER 17 :
Tyler Warren, if he’s not picked already, it’ll be Colston Loveland, but they’re taking Tyler Warren. I don’t think anyone will take a tight end other than the Bears before.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, and I agree. By the way, I have the Bears taking a tight end. Up next is the Atlanta Falcons. Now, they need a pass rush. The Atlanta Falcons have one of the worst pass defenses I have ever seen in my entire life.
SPEAKER 17 :
I think it’s been three years straight they’re at the bottom of the barrel pass rush. Please help them.
SPEAKER 11 :
Get somebody.
SPEAKER 17 :
I’m giving them Mike Green out of Marshall.
SPEAKER 11 :
Me too.
SPEAKER 17 :
Who’s one of those edge rushers that come from random schools sometimes. Max Crosby, Khalil Mack. I think Marshall is… Perfect.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, let’s go to one more here. The Arizona Cardinals. They need some help.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, I have them taking Jaday Barron, the corner out of Texas. I like him a lot.
SPEAKER 11 :
He’s a speedster, and he can play anywhere in the secondary. I really like him. Okay, let’s take a break. We’ll come back, and you’ll finish the first round. Rapid fire. Are you ready?
SPEAKER 17 :
I’m ready.
SPEAKER 11 :

SPEAKER 08 :
Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 11 :
And welcome back to Rush to Reason. Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Andy Pate filling in for John Rush along with Tanner Cole. Man. Okay, and Tanner, you’ve got to prove your manhood after Friday because you kind of lost it. So, you know, we’re letting you get it back. We’re going to go rapid fire. You’ve got 16 picks, second half of the first round. Let us know about these teams. Okay, Cincinnati Bengals at number 17. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
They need defense, defense, defense. They still have Trey Hendrickson for at least another year. I’m giving them Kenneth Grant, defensive tackle out of Michigan.
SPEAKER 11 :
So am I. Great pick. Number 18, the Seattle Seahawks. What do they need?
SPEAKER 17 :
They trade away DK Metcalf. Might need a little offense. Could need a little defense, but I’m giving them Matthew Golden, wide receiver out of Texas.
SPEAKER 11 :
The Blazer! What a beast. Ran a 4-2-8. That guy’s so fast. Okay, next. Tampa Bay Buccaneers at number 19. Go!
SPEAKER 17 :
Offense is pretty solid. Defense is good in the secondary. Let’s give them someone to get the quarterback. James Pierce Jr. out of Tennessee.
SPEAKER 11 :
Another blazer. Boy, he’s fast. Number 20, here it is, the Denver Broncos. I know you’re a Chargers fan, but you’ve got to help them out.
SPEAKER 17 :
If Gentee was there, I’d give him to you guys, but it’s going to have to be Omarion Hampton out of UNC.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, he’s a stud.
SPEAKER 17 :
Yeah, second best running back in the country last year, so should be a good pick for the Broncos.
SPEAKER 11 :
I think there are Pro Bowls in his future.
SPEAKER 17 :
And Javante Williams, UNC guy, except I think Omarion’s better.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, much better. Okay, next. Got a few more. Let’s go. Steelers at number 21. What do they need?
SPEAKER 17 :
Might as well take the best available. They just got DK Metcalf. They do need a quarterback, but I think Aaron Rodgers will sign. Let’s give him Derek Harmon out of Oregon. Defensive tackle.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, I wanted my Packers to get him. Okay, number 22, your Chargers. Go!
SPEAKER 17 :
Didn’t take a tight end yet, so guess what the Chargers need? A Colston Loveland Michigan boy to pair with Jim Harbaugh.
SPEAKER 11 :
Fantastic tight end. You got a minute left. Let’s go. Packers at number 23. Go!
SPEAKER 17 :
Maxwell Harrison corner. They may trade Jair Alexander.
SPEAKER 11 :
He’s lightning fast. 24, the Vikings. Dan’s Vikings. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
They need a safety here since Smith is old. Nick Amari-Warry. Safety out of South Carolina.
SPEAKER 11 :
What a freak of nature. Number 25, the Texans. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
Texans need O-line. Let’s get him a guard out of North Dakota State. Gray Zabel.
SPEAKER 11 :
Great player. I’m going to love him. Number 26, the Rams. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
They extended Matthew Stafford, but he is 38, I believe. So let’s give him the young Jackson Dart. And he throws darts.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, I like it. Number 27, the Ravens. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
Van Nooy is older. They don’t really have a great edge rusher. Let’s give him Shamar Stewart out of Texas A&M. Ever heard of Terrell Suggs?
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, you got about 20 seconds. Just give me name and team. Here we go. 28, the Lions. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
Donovan Irizuku.
SPEAKER 11 :
Pass rusher. I like him. Number 29, the Commanders. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
Malachi Starks, safety out. Georgia.
SPEAKER 11 :
Great player. Number 30, the Chiefs. Go.
SPEAKER 17 :
Bills, Trey Amos, corner, Ole Miss.
SPEAKER 11 :
Excellent. Number 31, the Bills.
SPEAKER 17 :
Oh, that’s what I meant. Sorry. Let’s go with the Chiefs, JT Tuamala, Edge, Ohio State.
SPEAKER 11 :
And number 32, the Eagles, who need absolutely nothing. What do you give them?
SPEAKER 17 :
I give them another edge rusher, Jordan Burch, out of Oregon.
SPEAKER 11 :
