SPEAKER 05 :
This is Rush to Reason. You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes. With your host, John Rush. My advice to you is to do what your parents did. Get a job first. You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 09 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 05 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 12 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by High Five Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, where every call ends with a high five.
SPEAKER 13 :
All right. Happy Monday, everybody. Welcome. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Appreciate you all. Hope you had a great, fantastic weekend. We got two weeks prior to Christmas now, or Christmas week, I should say. I know that it’s not actually two weeks from Christmas. It’s just a tad over that. But most people will be doing things the week of the 25th of Christmas. and in preparation for that, we’ve got a great new partner to Rush to Reason. I talked about him a little bit last week, but Mike is with us today. Mike Goldstein, welcome. How are you?
SPEAKER 03 :
I’m doing fine. Thanks for having me.
SPEAKER 13 :
Joy to have you. I met Mike last week, and for those of you listening, you’ve heard some of the commercials running for the, we’ll call them the kids’ books, but it’s The Adventures of Jimmy and Andrew, and you’ve heard the commercials running now for a little over a week plus now, but Mike, you’re the author of…
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 13 :
So, as I always say when we first get going here, why? What got this going in the first place?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, it started with stories that I told my grandson. I’ve always been a storyteller, and I told my kids stories. And then when my grandson moved away, he would call me every night for a poppy story.
SPEAKER 13 :
That’s what he called me.
SPEAKER 03 :
And I would make up stories for him, and we would do it every night. And his favorite stories were the adventures of Jimmy and Andrew. And my former wife and my daughter asked, you know, begged me to put these in writing. And so I finally did. And the first book in the series is American Stonehenge, which is the one you’ve been promoting.
SPEAKER 13 :
Right.
SPEAKER 03 :
And it’s the first book in this particular series of the adventures of Jimmy and Andrew.
SPEAKER 13 :
Okay, and for those of you listening, first of all, I have a book that Mike gave me that I actually have in hand. And this is not – and Mike will talk about this – but this is not your typical children’s book. I’ll just say that straight up. I actually have a copy. This is, of course, as Mike just said, book one. And what I will tell you is this is a book that – will last you a lifetime and probably go through several different generations if you so choose, if you’ll keep it that long. The quality of the book is such that you could easily do that, Mike, and hopefully people will do that. That’s the idea, and we’ll get into more of why you want folks to actually do this in the first place. Well, before we get going, though, because I want to make sure we have time to do this. We are going to give some of these books away today. So for those of you that have kids or grandkids and you want to be involved in this, and I’m just going to tell you straight up, this is one of those books that, again, you will keep not just for you, but you will have it around for generations to come. So, Mike, how many are we giving away? I think we’re giving five books away. Okay, five books. So the way this is going to work is five of you need to call in, first five, Not five of you, but the first five call in 303-477-5600. I can’t do this on the text line like I normally would be able to do because we need your name, your address. We’re going to get these things shipped out to you. So call in. We’ve got somebody here that will be able to answer those calls. But 303-477-5600. We’re going to be giving five of these books away. Normally, Mike, what do these sell for? $24.95. Okay, so $24.95 is what these will normally sell for, which, again, we’re going to keep talking about that throughout because you guys are going to hear more, not only from Mike and the commercials that we run daily, but we’ll be talking to Mike on an ongoing basis as well. But Mike, besides… You telling these stories to grandkids and so on, then wanting to put that into print format, there’s another purpose behind the book, which is to really get families and kids especially to read, right?
SPEAKER 03 :
Exactly.
SPEAKER 13 :
So talk about that part of it.
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s very… very dear to me, which is children’s literacy.
SPEAKER 13 :
Really quick, I’m going to stop for a moment, because those of you listening, you’ve heard me interview in the last month or so individuals, experts in the education end of things, talking about how our continual grade scores keep dropping and dropping and dropping to where high school seniors now that are graduating high school in a lot of cases cannot read. So, Mike, this is a big deal.
SPEAKER 03 :
Not only can they not read, but they don’t seem to know much about subjects like history or geography.
SPEAKER 13 :
Great point.
SPEAKER 03 :
Or things that we knew as kids.
SPEAKER 13 :
States, where things are located.
SPEAKER 03 :
On and on we go, right? Exactly. And kids can’t even write Kersauf anymore. Right. Write it or read it. No, no, not at all.
SPEAKER 13 :
So part of the book is, yeah, you want to tell stories. You want this to be an heirloom. People can pass it down. But your real goal is to get kids to read, right? Exactly.
SPEAKER 03 :
And the book, in doing that, I wanted to write a fantasy, a thought-provoking fantasy, but which was also educational. So all the subjects discussed in the book are historically and factually accurate, down to the smallest detail.
SPEAKER 13 :
So even though they’re sort of fantasy-driven, you’re also putting a lot of factual things, references, everything. I know because you told me everything’s true. It can be proven in the book and so on. So the reality is you’re mixing some fantasy along with some reality. Exactly. Am I saying that correctly? Exactly. Okay.
SPEAKER 03 :
In other words, I mean, people will not find things in the book that are not accurate. You’ll find fantasy, different places, but all the things discussed. So I wanted to discuss all different types of subjects. History was a big one. Because once we talk about what the book’s about, people will see why the historical part of it was so important.
SPEAKER 13 :
Okay, let me check just one second. Charlie, how many have we given away to this point? Okay. Okay, so we have three more to have gone. So we’ve got three more to give away. Those of you, yeah, and thank you, Charlie, for the reminder. Those of you that may be listening to this at 6 o’clock, sorry. They will be gone by 6 o’clock because there’s nobody here to take your information. Now, what I will tell you, though, is even if you’re listening at 6 o’clock and you want to get one of these books as a Christmas gift, which you definitely can do, Mike, what’s the website they should go to to do that?
SPEAKER 03 :
Jimmyandandrew.com.
SPEAKER 13 :
Okay, that’s simple, guys. Jimmy, and it’s J-I-M-M-Y. So Jimmy and Andrew.
SPEAKER 03 :
A-N-D and then Andrew.
SPEAKER 13 :
There you go, .com. So if you guys are listening at 6, yes, thank you, Charlie, for the reminder. You cannot call in and get a free book. We’ve got three more of these we can give away right now. This is 310 in the afternoon. So those of you listening, 303-477-5600, and we’ll get you a book.
SPEAKER 03 :
But anybody calling in, if you use the promo code KLZ, you get 10% off.
SPEAKER 13 :
Okay. And what number do they need to call to do that if they want to call in? Same one here?
SPEAKER 03 :
No, no. When you go to the website. I’m sorry. Did I say call in? No, no. When you go to the website and you get to the shop page, you type in the promo code, which is the call letters, KLZ, and you get an extra 10% on top of the free shipping and handling.
SPEAKER 13 :
Which I will be talking about more again as we go down. weeks ahead especially as we wind down here to christmas folks you’ll hear me talking about this daily so again if you call in right now i think we’ll have a couple more yet to give away somebody’s calling in as we speak so we have two more left 303-477 sorry one more left 303-477-5600 give us a call we’ll get a book in your hands and again appreciate all you calling by the way and those of you that have listened to me for any length of time Okay, we’re down to the last one. So those of you that are calling in, you may not be able to get a book, so you can stop calling now. And I know there’s a delay, but hang tight. And again, if you call in and we’ve given them away and you still want to get a book, go to the website. Again, Mike, what is it?
SPEAKER 03 :
www.jimmyandandrew.com.
SPEAKER 13 :
Perfect. So you guys can get a nice discount there, 10% off, use KLZ. What I was going to say, though, you guys all know me, and the fact that I am really big on, especially now with what’s happening inside of the next administration, what they’re talking about in regards to cost-cutting, the Department of Education, and so on. But the reality is, aside from all of that, so putting all of that aside, the reality is, Unless you’re homeschooling your kids or you are sending your kids to some sort of a private school, the chances of them learning to read through the other system, through the public school system, is going to be slim. So the point, Mike, is if you really want your kids to learn how to read, you’re going to have to take it upon yourself to do so. And this is a great tool in doing that is my point.
SPEAKER 03 :
Exactly, in that you want to give kids something that they really want to read, something that they’re interested in.
SPEAKER 13 :
In other words, so they’re just not forced to do it? They’re actually encouraged and they want to know what’s going on? Exactly. There you go.
SPEAKER 03 :
And the easiest way to do that is for parents to start reading to their kids.
SPEAKER 13 :
One thing, Mike, I didn’t mention, and I’ve got it in front of me, but I didn’t look. How many pages are in this book?
SPEAKER 1 :
250.
SPEAKER 03 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 13 :
Again, for all of you listening, this isn’t your typical, you know, cardboard front and back, you know, Dr. Seuss where it’s about 15 pages long. That’s not what this is. This is like, I think, Mike, the way I would describe it would be, taking something that’s more in a story-slash-novel form, yet making it understandable for kids. I want you to talk about the illustrations that are in here as well, because that’s very key to how the book actually works when you’re reading it to the kids. Point being, this isn’t the typical cardboard front-and-back 20-page kids’ book.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, it’s a novel. There you go. It’s for basically middle grade 9 to 99.
SPEAKER 13 :
I told you, Mike, about some of my kids. I had one that was reading at a very, very early age that at age five or six would have grabbed this and would have done just fine. So for those of you, if you’ve got younger kids, maybe you’ve homeschooled them or you’ve worked with them or they’ve got older siblings that have helped them learn how to read, This thing is illustrated to the point where, and by the way, you parents will enjoy reading this as well, but the point being, Mike, if you’re on that grade level where you can understand what’s going on historically and so on, anybody could read this. Yes. Is that a good way to say that? Yes. Talk about the illustrations.
SPEAKER 03 :
Okay. Well, maybe I should tell a little bit about the book first. Go ahead. What the story is. Absolutely. Go ahead. It’s about a boy. You mean Andrew. So it’s about a boy by the name of Jimmy. who for as long as he can remember has wanted a dog. And finally, on his ninth birthday, his parents allow him to go to the Humane Society and adopt a dog. And it turns out that the dog he gets can speak with him telepathically. And he finds out that the dog is immortal, born in Egypt over 3,000 years ago, and has been roaming the earth ever since, trying to find others of his kind, find his own origins. And not until he meets Jimmy does he begin to discover clues to his elusive origins. Gotcha. So that’s the basic book. So that’s where the history side of things comes into play. And so once he’s adopted, now the adventures begin. Got it. And this first book… American Stonehenge about their first big adventure is Jimmy’s archaeologist parents take him and his new canine companion, Andrew, with them to a find in the forests of northern Washington, northwest, to where a find of the exact duplicate of Stonehenge in England. And it’s shrouded in mystery that Jimmy and Andrew must unravel. Sure. Very cool. And what’s interesting about this series itself and this book and the whole series is that you go back. The reader, it’s taken back and forth between the current episode and other episodes in Andrew’s long life since he’s lived over 3,000 years. And it ties in. There’s where the historical comes in. You know, where he’s been out, it ties in now. Yeah. And in writing these series, it’s almost to me become like these – somehow it’s like another universe that they exist in. It’s very much like our – there’s nothing that you can find that this isn’t the way – these are factual things. But it’s in an area of, like I said – You’ve tied it all together. Tied it all together.
SPEAKER 13 :
Okay, so the pictures, because it’s illustrated as well for all of you listening. It’s not just words. It’s illustrated as well. But, Mike, you did the illustrations differently than a typical book.
SPEAKER 03 :
Exactly. I mean, one of the things I wanted to do, you’ve got to understand, this becoming a book that parents can read to their kids is a big part of it too. And so the book itself, the physical book, we’ve spent a lot of time in designing so that that could happen. Okay. And the illustrations are a very big part of it. I wanted the book to have like a graphic novel quality.
SPEAKER 13 :
Which it does.
SPEAKER 03 :
And so we did illustrations. The book is big, first of all. It’s 7 1⁄2 by 10 inches. Thank you for saying that, by the way. I never mentioned that, so thank you. Yeah, it’s a big book. That’s right. And the illustrations are a full page. Colored. Colored, full-colored, hand-painted illustrations of the major scene of every chapter. And one of the things that I wanted to do because I always hated the fact that the illustrations in books were at the beginning of a chapter. I didn’t like that because, first of all… You may give something away, right? Yeah, if it’s exciting and you give something in. Also, if you get to the scene and you have to flip back to look at it. Got it. So we put the illustrations across from the scene. So it’s on the opposite side of the page. So as the reader is reading it, he can look and see, he or she can look and see the actual scene that’s exactly depicted. Okay. Down to the smallest detail. Got it. And so the book is available in all the electronic copies, but we always recommend that you get the hard copy. That’s because one of the things you can’t do in electronic copy is see it that way. You’re going up and down. You can’t see it right across like that. So this way, the whole point is that the person’s got it and they can look out there and see the scene or the kids can be looking at it while the parent or while the teacher or the homeschooler is reading the book. Okay. Makes total sense. Yeah.
SPEAKER 13 :
Again, for those of you listening, The Adventures of Jimmy and Andrew, that is the title of the book. This is book one, American Stonehenge. And we talked about, Mike did about the story. And we don’t want to give too much of that away because we want you to get the book. and read it. But you’re going to hear me talking more about this. You’ll hear some commercials running. This is, and I’ll just tell you straight up, this is a great gift to buy for Christmas, whether it be for yourself to read to your own kids, whether you’re a grandparent and you want to get it for your kids and grandkids, whether you want to get it for your kids. You decide how you want to do this, but this would be a fabulous family gift for a very nominal price.
SPEAKER 03 :
Exactly.
SPEAKER 13 :
Best way for me to say it.
SPEAKER 03 :
And they can go up on our website and see… A four-chapter free peer review. The first four chapters in print replica. So you’ll see exactly what it looks, except you won’t see it on the opposite side of the page. Right. But you’ll see everything. And you’ll see it in such a way that it just kind of pops out at you. And you think, wow, I’d like to see that in the book. There you go. Well, what we did is we had a special coding put on all the pages. that makes the illustrations and the copy just pop right out.
SPEAKER 13 :
Folks, this is a beautiful book. You guys know me. I wouldn’t lie to you, wouldn’t tell you. If I didn’t think it was, I wouldn’t say so. It is. Again, this is one of those books that you will cherish, you will keep around, and you will pass it down from child to child or generation to generation. And I mean that sincerely. It’s that high quality. It’s a great deal. You will not go wrong buying this book for your family or your grandkids or even, you know, Nieces, nephews, maybe somebody that you know would benefit from having it. My point is, it’s a great gift. We’re two weeks from Christmas. Mike, what’s kind of, in closing here, what’s kind of the latest people need to get their order and to make sure they get it by Christmas?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well… Pretty soon. Within a week, probably. Locally, it’s going to get there faster than if it was somewhere else. Okay. So you figure about it. The post office says a week to 10 days for the way we’re shipping it. Okay. But it’ll be faster. Okay. Yeah, it’ll be a little bit faster.
SPEAKER 13 :
Okay, so those of you listening, again, jimmyandandrew.com. We’ll have links up, by the way, all over our website, klzradio.com. Don’t forget, you get 10% off right now. That’s our promo code. Just type in KLZ when you go to order the book. Mike, it’s a joy. I’ve enjoyed having you. Thank you for the book. And we gave, I already know, we gave all those books away in that amount of time. SPEAKER 13 :
All right. You just heard me interview Mike Goldstein, author of American Stonehenge. It’s Adventures of Jimmy and Andrew. You just heard us talk about it a moment ago. These are the commercials you’re going to be hearing moving forward. And as I said a few minutes ago, that’s a fabulous gift to get for Christmas. And I cannot say that enough. And then, of course, once we get through the holidays, it’ll just be a good thing to have around for. your own family, and those that you want to know how to read, you want to learn how to read, this is a great tool in that particular area. So again, American Stonehenge, the author is Mike Goldstein, and we appreciated him joining us a moment ago.
SPEAKER 11 :
Hey, KLZ listeners, this is TJ. We all know that for kids to develop a lifelong passion for reading, they need to get engaged with books that spark their imagination and interest. Wouldn’t it be great if they also got interested in history and geography at the same time? That’s where the great fantasy book series that kids can’t put down, The Adventures of Jimmy and Andrew, comes in. A nine-year-old boy and his 3,300-year-old telepathic dog rescued from the shelter set off for adventures around the world with Jimmy’s archaeologist parents. The first book, American Stonehenge, has more than 300 positive reviews. To receive 10% off your order, use the KLZ call letters. Please visit JimmyAndAndrew.com. Again, that’s JimmyAndAndrew.com.
SPEAKER 14 :
God. Country. Reason.
SPEAKER 13 :
Now back to John Rush. All right, we are back. Thank you all for listening, by the way. I appreciate it. And again, thanks to Mike for coming in and being with us. And as you guys probably could already figure out, he’s somebody local. We don’t have a ton of local authors that we end up interviewing on our program. I interview authors from literally all over the country, in some cases all over the world. It’s unique to have somebody in our own backyard, but Mike is. Now, for those of you listening out of the area, by the way, Mike’s got this set up where he can send books anywhere. So those of you listening that might have even family members and others that are out of our particular Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas area, he can send any book anywhere. So for those of you listening, don’t worry about that whatsoever. All right. Scams. I want to talk about this today. We’ve got another guest joining us here at the bottom of the hour. Before I do this, Joe sent me this. And there’s actually a link on the USPS.gov website. And that is actually USPIS. That’s the inspection service. And reality is, don’t be scammed this Christmas season by scammers selling stamps. And you’ll get a lot of things, whether it be through social media or even coming into your inbox, might even get a text message on this. In other words, if you see that there’s some great deal on stamps, normally $100 and they’re half off. Well, you guys all know that’s not how it works. Postage is postage is postage. And unless you’re paying full price, they’re likely stolen, counterfeit, or you’re never going to receive them in the first place. So what’s that old saying? If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. That will be the case in regards to stamps. If you’re not paying face value for the stamp, they’re not correct. They’re not a real stamp. And I’m guessing – I didn’t read through all of this to find out what are the penalties – for using counterfeit stamps, but I don’t want to go down that path. I don’t think any of you do either. And these counterfeit stamps, there’s pictures of them here on the website. They’re pretty darn good. they’re hard to tell the difference is my point so reality is just be wary if there’s significant discounts know that they could be either a scam i mean it’s a scam altogether but it could be a scam to gain your info could be a scam and that they’re counterfeit or last but not least they could of course be stolen so bottom line buy your stamps at USPS.com or go to your local post office, however you want to do that. And by the way, there’s all sorts of places that sell stamps as well. I believe King Soopers, Costco, Sam’s, you can buy stamps there as well. But again, if it looks like it’s some great deal, half off. It’s most likely some sort of a scam to gain something, or they’re going to send you product, but it’s counterfeit, meaning it’s no good anyways, and you just spent money that’s, you know, it’s good money after bad. You’re not going to be able to do anything with them anyways if they’re counterfeit. So bottom line, just realize that that scam is out there. And I talk about these on a pretty routine basis as we learn more and more of what’s going on out there. So, yeah, do not buy counterfeit stamps. High-Five Plumbing is next. If you’ve got any kind of plumbing or electrical problem, don’t forget they do both now. It’s High-Five Plumbing, 877-WE-HIGH-FIVE.
SPEAKER 12 :

Michael Bailey, he is our mobile estate planner, and you’re not going to get your estate done by the end of the year unless you’ve contacted Michael earlier, so you’re looking at the beginning of next year. But call Michael today. Get that set up. Don’t delay. klzradio.com is how you find him.

SPEAKER 12 :
Now, back to Rush to Reason, presented by Hi-5 Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, where every call ends with a high five.
SPEAKER 13 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Thanks for tuning in today, by the way, and I appreciate you all listening and the books we gave away during the first segment today. I appreciate Mike coming in and joining us. Again, I cannot talk highly enough about the book that he has authored. There’s more in the series coming out, so it’s one of those things where you’re going to want to get involved in that and then have each series so that as you start reading to your friends kids or grandkids or however you decide to do that it’s a great tool to teach kids to learn it’ll just be a lot of fun for you and your family as well so again the adventures of jimmy and andrew and mike if you’re listening thanks again for being a part of what we do and and as you guys all know this is something near and dear to me just because of where we’re at on the educational end of things that i talk about on a routine basis uh here on rush to reason the fact that we have got to get in gear when it comes to that end of things, because the reality is we are very behind as a country in regards to all of that, and we have got to figure out a way somehow, some way to get caught up, because we are definitely behind in that area. So Charlie’s doing his best to get our next guest, which we may not be able to get a hold of, and as we head down the stretch into the holidays, things like that can happen. Not a problem. All right, this came up actually Saturday on Drive Radio. and I want to go ahead and talk about it here, and I was going to do this anyways, but I was reminded of it on Saturday, and you guys hear me talk a lot about what government should do, what’s the proper role of government, and different things regarding, you know, towns and cities and so on, and I’ve got very distinct thoughts in a lot of areas when it comes to those things. Now, This one I’ve talked about in the past, and some of you all know exactly what I’m going to say when I get to this particular topic, but that’s the town of Morrison, and they are disbanding their police department. Oh, we have Mark. Okay, never mind. You know what? I’ll come back to that topic here in just one minute. Let’s talk to Mark next. Mark Gober. Mark, welcome. How are you, sir? I’m well. Thank you for having me. No, I appreciate it very much. And you are author and end to the upside-down reset, the leftist vision for society under the Great Reset. And as we have a new president, actually the old president coming back, let’s say it that way, Mark, what do you envision along those lines?
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, I think many of the initiatives that we’ve heard about with regard to the Great Reset, which is the World Economic Forum’s vision for society laid out in 2020, I do think the new administration’s policies will likely stifle many of those great reset initiatives. However, I think it is important to keep in mind that these ideas have been put forward because they seem to be part of a long-term plan. And maybe for the next four years, we’ll have a bit of a shield, but I think we need to remain vigilant.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, I’m with you. And I’ve had people even ask me that, Mark, you know, what do I think? How do I think things are going to look? Granted, I don’t have a crystal ball. I know you don’t either. But I really look at this as… I guess the great pause. Like you, I feel like these things have been set in motion for a long time. The Marxist movement and the globalist end of things, Mark, have been trying to infiltrate our country for some 60-plus years now. Yeah, there may be a pause here by this administration, and depending upon what happens in 2028, it might even continue. But the reality is we have got to be vigilant in that because, believe me, the other side isn’t going to stop.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, that’s well put, and I think the Great Reset was an initiative – starting in 2020 and that was basically the new branding of something that’s been going on for a long time and maybe the branding in the future will change but the ideology is very similar
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, intrinsically, and Mark, you know this as well as I, intrinsically, they don’t like us. I mean, the reality is, and the way I explain it all the time, is it’s good versus evil. And I know that a lot of folks might, you know, counter me on that because I’m not saying that, you know, one side of the part of the country, you know, one party is good versus the other side being evil. But the ideology and what those individuals think matters. I do believe markets good versus evil, and the reality is the other side is going to do everything they possibly can, whether they’re relabeling it or not. The core of it is they hate what we stand for, they hate America, they hate what we were founded on, and they want to see a significant change in all of that.
SPEAKER 07 :
The term that I’ve used in my books is spiritual war. So I see it in a very similar light. And I also use the term in this book, an end to the upside down reset, anti-human. That is the mentality of this ideology, that human beings are parasitic and we should try to control them rather than to allow them to be prosperous.
SPEAKER 13 :
That’s right. No, Mark, I say that constantly. The whole climate movement is very much what you just said. The reality is we are the scourge of the Earth. We should be purged. And if we are, then Earth comes back to normal, according to them, I should say.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, I actually have a whole chapter on climate in the book, An End to the Upside-Down Reset. And you’re reminding me of a quote from a CNN technical director. He was filmed undercover by Project Veritas in 2021 saying, And he was talking about how at the time COVID was all the talk, that COVID would die down and fear sells. And the next thing that had longevity, that was going to be climate. And it turned out he was right. And I do think it’s part of this anti-human mentality.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah. And Mark, you and I are, as you can tell, very much. on the same wavelength with all of this. I also, as you heard me say a moment ago, good versus evil. I believe very much that it is, in fact, a spiritual battle that’s going on. And I know a lot of folks would laugh at me for saying this, but literally it is a spiritual battle, not only for the soul of America, but for the souls of the individuals inside of America, Mark.
SPEAKER 07 :
Absolutely. I talk about this in the book. You’ve all know Harari, who’s been an advisor to the World Economic Forum. He has said things like the idea that there is a soul or spirit that’s over, paraphrasing. And this is the mindset, metaphysically, of the Great Reset. It’s not about a spiritual revolution to understanding the greater purpose of our existence, but rather it’s about getting rid of that and trying to control humanity.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yep. And again, I go back to Mark. This is the core of the Marxist movement. The reality is they replace God with government. Government becomes, you know, the ultimate end-all to be-all, end-all, and whatever they say goes, and you don’t need God any longer because government will take the place of. I mean, this is the core of that movement. That’s why I say it’s good versus evil, because any time you take God out of the equation, you’re evil.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, and it’s offloading personal responsibility to others and just trusting an expert because that person has a degree, and that does inherently take a greater intelligence out of the picture spiritually.
SPEAKER 13 :
So your whole thought on the book initially, I usually start with this with authors and why the book, but I kind of already know why because of everything we’re talking about. But on the same token, what made you finally sit down and write this so that we can get this awareness out to people?
SPEAKER 07 :
Well, I was very much politically agnostic until 2020. I didn’t know much about politics at all. And then given everything that happened, both with COVID and the election, there was no choice because having no opinion was basically an opinion. So I started looking very closely at what was happening. And I was pretty appalled by what I was seeing in terms of the authoritarian mindset from the left. And I have a very mainstream background. I went to Princeton undergrad. I worked in investment banking in New York. I spent a decade working in Silicon Valley. So many people that I respected and still respect intellectually were not seeing through the deception. And I just wanted to understand what was going on. So in this book, An End to the Upside-Down Reset, there are two segments that try to help other people see through what I was naive to until recently. Number one, I psychoanalyzed leftism as an ideology. And then the second part of the book is actually deconstructing this Great Reset agenda, because the language that’s used in Klaus Schwab’s book called COVID-19, The Great Reset, very flowery language. It sounds like the world’s going to be a better place. But I broke it down into six segments in terms of societal change that they want to see cultural, political, economic, environmental, technological and metaphysical. And I wanted to make it easy for other people to understand.
SPEAKER 13 :
When you decided that, hey, things aren’t quite right, this doesn’t make any sense, I need to do something about this. I mean, I guess main question mark is, was there one single thing that happened that really woke you up to what was going on, or was it a combination of?
SPEAKER 07 :
It was a combination and it was a continuation of patterns of the mainstream press putting out an idea and then looking at primary sources myself and seeing they weren’t telling the full story or in some cases completely deceiving people. And it was happening over and over again.
SPEAKER 13 :
And just so you know, throughout that, because I’ve been on air for a decade plus and literally we’re talking about all of covid from. Literally the, you know, two weeks to slow the spread on. I mean, you know, I can remember distinctly those times. And I even had some very great doctors and folks that were on with me that, you know, we started with very early that really started to set the record straight. They were some of those, you know, antis in the very beginning. And of course, we were all called loons. And, you know, we didn’t, you know, our own governor called us selfish bastards. You know, we don’t know what we’re doing and we don’t want, you know, we don’t want the good of the whole and on and on we go. And the reality, Mark, is all of us, myself included. We were right. They were wrong.
SPEAKER 07 :
That’s the irony of it, and we haven’t seen too many apologies.
SPEAKER 13 :
I haven’t gotten one. Really quick, Mark, I had people back then, even listeners, I mean, I would get into debates not only on air but off air, social media and so on. I literally had people saying things like, you know, you’re the reason why we are where we are, and we’d be better off without you. In other words, Mark, I should just die, and that should be the end of it. In other words, some folks even said, you should get COVID and die. Those are the kind of things I had to listen to back then.
SPEAKER 07 :
I’m somehow not surprised by that. It speaks to, I don’t know what to call it other than mind control or brainwashing that seems to remove all rationality.
SPEAKER 13 :
I call it a mental illness. Maybe that’s me being a little bit too generous, but to your point, these are individuals that really have allowed others to control them. They’re thinking about things in a non-real way, and they’ve been duped.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes. But I do think there is an awakening happening. I mean, where we are today versus four years ago, the number of people who are able to ask questions about things. So I’m optimistic in that sense.
SPEAKER 13 :
I mean, you saw that in this last election. I mean, not only did Donald Trump win on the electoral side, he won the popular vote. A lot of people have literally woken up to hang on. You know, this whole wokeness end of things. And again, Mark, maybe they’re not. down to the same minutia that you and I are, although it’s through books like yours that they could learn some of that minutia and even get more educated than they are right now.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah, but I do think it’s just this pattern that people are having to wake up to, that they were told things that just aren’t true, and their mind has to just go with rationality at a certain point. I think there’s a long way to go, but I’m definitely encouraged.
SPEAKER 13 :
You know what? Everything you just said, I cannot argue. Now, this is where not only does your book come into play, what we do here on a regular basis as well, but to your point, really, as we started opening up the conversation, we can’t stop. I mean, this might be a pause, but unless we keep our foot on the gas pedal, it will die.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yes. It’s about the awareness of the individuals to me. It has to be grassroots because people have to, the authorities are going to put out whatever they put out and it’s up to us to discern that. And through free information and allowing people to absorb things on their own, I think that’s the ultimate solution.
SPEAKER 13 :
Where do folks buy the book, Mark?
SPEAKER 07 :
It’s available on Amazon and it’s in paperback, Kindle and audible format and then to the upside down reset.
SPEAKER 13 :
Awesome. Mark, as you can tell, you’re in great company. Anytime you want to come back, you let me know.

SPEAKER 14 :
Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 13 :
And we are back, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Joe, what’s going on, sir?
SPEAKER 06 :
John, just a little more background on counterfeit stamps. Have you ever watched these shows, a contraband seized at the border to catch a smuggler?
SPEAKER 13 :
Oh, yeah. Yeah. I love that show, by the way.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. And one of the things they show is that there’s a booming business in, it’s coming from China, counterfeit stamps, you know, in the role of a hundred. Now, here’s a quick, I know you’re not going to know, but your best guess. So Let’s take an 18-inch by 18-inch by 12-inch deep box, which is about the size of two shoe boxes side by side, a package you could put under one arm. If you put that full of rolls of 100 first-class stamps, what do you think the value of that box that you have under your arm is?
SPEAKER 1 :
$20,000, $25,000?
SPEAKER 13 :
$85,000. Wow, $85,000. Huge.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, because, again, a roll of stamps, they’re one inch wide. And the roll is an inch and a half in diameter. So if you have an 18 by 18 inch box, you can have 12, you can have 144 per row. And since they’re only an inch deep.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, true, true.
SPEAKER 06 :
You could have, you’d have eight.
SPEAKER 13 :
And they’re lightweight. That’s way different than even cash.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. And the drug dogs can’t spill. Yeah, because it’s just paper. It’s just paper. Interesting. So they’ve been doing this. So, again, an 18 by 18 by 12-inch deep box has $85,000 worth of counterfeit stamps. Amazing.
SPEAKER 13 :
And really quick, Joe, how accurate are they? I’m guessing pretty accurate.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, very, very accurate. I mean, you know, it doesn’t take much to make.
SPEAKER 13 :
No, it’s not like there’s a hologram or anything special when it comes to a stamp.
SPEAKER 06 :
Nope. And they’re showing to catch a smuggler. I mean, they’re coming in. And what’s happening— By the way, one of the things you missed, when they’re really cheap, they’re not going to send you any product.
SPEAKER 13 :
They just want your credit card. That’s right. All they’re doing is stealing your info. That’s all they’re doing.
SPEAKER 06 :
They just want your credit card. But when they’re selling you something for $39 or whatever, you know. Cap price, whatever. But these guys are buying these $85,000 worth of stamps for, you know, $500.
SPEAKER 13 :
Right, right. They’re making a mother load on that.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. Now, they’re not selling them for $85,000. Oh, no, no, no.
SPEAKER 13 :
They’re probably selling them for half that, but still, that’s a pretty good take, Joe.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, you pay $500 for a box of, you know, for $85,000 worth of fake stamps, and you sell them for $40,000, and you hit a home run.
SPEAKER 13 :
Shoot, Joe, if you were getting $10,000, you’d be a home run.
SPEAKER 06 :
I mean, you got nothing in it, basically. My Facebook page, every day these things are popping up, every single day.
SPEAKER 13 :
Which, you know, side note, you would think that that’s something, you know, they could monitor everything else through COVID that you and I might post, but they can’t monitor that.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. And by the way, still are in a lot of ways. Well, you know, I report them as scams and the Facebook does take them down, but they have to wait for somebody to report them. And by the way, the Amazon pallet scam is back. Oh, jeez.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, buy your pallet of product that doesn’t exist.
SPEAKER 06 :
Of return product, right. Buy your pallet of return product. And they show this Photoshop picture. They show like 20 pallets. You know, each one five feet high, stacked with product for $79 a pallet.
SPEAKER 13 :
The AI stuff, just as a side note, too, for all of you listening, I was talking about this over the weekend. Reality, Joe, as you know, the AI stuff just continues to get better and better and better to the point where I’m not sure how you’re going to know the difference down the road.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. And one of these pictures, by the way, they show these pallets in front of an Amazon warehouse. And all they’ve done, they’ve taken a picture of an Amazon warehouse with the big Amazon logo. sign up above the building, and then they Photoshop these pallets. And by the way, it’s the same three pallets with the same Photoshopped $79 yellow sticker sign. So it makes you believe that these pallets are parked out in front of an Amazon warehouse, and they’re all returned merchandise. Oh, and then they have, each one, they have 20 to 30 Rave reviews. Got mine yesterday. It had all this. And they’re fake. They’re fake profiles. And, in fact, if you go from one to the next, it’s the same fake reviews, even though the pop-up ad is different. It’s the same fake reviews, and you go to click on these profiles of these people. They’re all fake profiles.
SPEAKER 13 :
What’s that old saying, Joe, if it sounds too good to be true?
SPEAKER 06 :
Yep, you’re not going to get a pallet. Yeah, it is.
SPEAKER 13 :
I mean, you know, there’s no free lunch, Joe. I mean, anybody out there that thinks that, you know, either one of two things. Even if you get product delivered, it isn’t going to be anywhere as close to what they described you’re getting. So at the end of the day, no matter what, you’re going to get taken advantage of. Best bet, just steer away from them.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right. I got one more thing from your Saturday show. I couldn’t call in, but you’re talking about appraisals and stuff. You want a little more background on insuring your guns? Yeah, go ahead. So I did some research, and actually I did it myself. I forgot how much I paid. But the cost to insure guns is about $0.30 per $100. So if you have $10,000 worth of guns and you want to insure them, it’s going to be roughly $300 a year to insure $10,000 worth of firearms. But here’s the big thing you want to be careful. People forget about the optics. You can have a $600 rifle with a $350 scope on top or on pistols now. the big thing are these red dot optics on top. And red dots are $300 a piece. So if you are going to insure your guns, make sure you include the value of the optic. Because if you just say, well, here’s my list of guns I want to insure, and you forget that you have a Leopold 4×10 scope on your rifle, they’re going to pay you for the rifle, but they’re not going to pay you for the telescopic sight. So you need to specify… You know, boom, boom, .30-06 rifle with a 4×10 Leopold scope and then put that stated value in there. Otherwise, you’re not going to get it. Great point. It’s really inexpensive. I mean, $300 for $10,000 worth of coverage.
SPEAKER 13 :
Pretty good deal.
SPEAKER 06 :
Pretty good deal.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, not a bad idea at all. Well, really quick, Joe, before I let you go, one last thing. I haven’t had a lot of time to talk about it, but I’ll get to it maybe a little bit later, and that’s, of course, the whole shooting of the UnitedHealthcare CEO and even some now of what the news is saying. And I don’t know if you’ve been following along with any of that, but there are now some articles coming out, and I think some of these are, frankly – either wrong or they’re trying to mislead people into thinking this guy printed his own gun. In other words, he’s got some sort of a ghost gun. And that’s not what I’ve seen at all as far as descriptions of the weapon and even what I’ve seen in some of the pictures.
SPEAKER 06 :
Well, no, it’s certainly not a plastic gun. But there’s another type of ghost gun where you can buy the parts. Right. And then assemble the parts.
SPEAKER 13 :
But to my knowledge, Joe, unless I’m mistaken, have they found the gun at this point?
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, they found the gun. They found the gun.
SPEAKER 13 :
Okay, was that just today that they finally found that, or what? Because I hadn’t read that earlier.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, they found the gun. I was just watching the local New York City news here.
SPEAKER 13 :
And is it, in fact, a ghost gun, or…?
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s yet to be confirmed.
SPEAKER 13 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 06 :
But it is a regular semi-automatic pistol. They found him with his fake New Jersey’s driver’s license. He’s a young guy. He’s a University of Pennsylvania graduate. Saw that. Quite well off, by the way. Saw that, too. Lived in Hawaii. And he’s just angry at corporations. And if you want to see a bunch of sick people, there’s a Facebook site called Being Liberal. If you go on there, there’s 200 comments celebrating this guy. They’re setting up a defense fund form. They’re saying, oh, it was self-defense. He was defending the lives of other people. This guy’s a hero. We need more just like him. John, it’s sick, absolutely sick.
SPEAKER 13 :
Wow, unbelievable, Joe. Yeah, and I’ve even heard, and for those of you that are conservatives, please be very, very careful in what you say and how you say things along these lines, Joe. I’ve even seen some conservatives say some things along the lines of, well, you know, these evil corporations, they make all this money and they deny these claims and they do this and they do that. And while that may be true, Joe, now is not the time or the place to talk about that after somebody’s been murdered.
SPEAKER 06 :
No, it isn’t. And then to celebrate this guy— That’s morbid. Absolutely morbid. I mean, it’s sad. Not only sad, but it’s scary to think there are so many people out there like this guy because apparently he didn’t have any relatives. He didn’t lose his mother to— Right. No, this guy’s just mad.
SPEAKER 13 :
This guy’s a hardcore lefty that’s mad at the world.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, he had a three-page manifesto that ranting and raving about evil corporations in general.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yep.
SPEAKER 06 :
Just a hardcore, far nutjob left-wing liberal.
SPEAKER 13 :
Meaning you won’t hear much more about this after this show.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, you won’t. And by the way, some of the sickest—no, no, he couldn’t have done it. He was with me. He was with me on the day of the shooting, you know. People, yeah, no, I was there, too. He was with us. You know, they’re all saying I’m his alibi. I mean, that’s how sick these people are. Unbelievable, Joe. Unbelievable.
SPEAKER 13 :
Joe, thanks, man, for the update. I always appreciate it very much. Have a great rest of your day. American National Insurance is next. Paul Luehmerger, my good friend. Broker as well. He’ll help you with whatever insurance needs that you have. 303-662-0789.
SPEAKER 08 :
Paul Leuenberger will teach you how to pay for home insurance the right way, saving money on premiums while protecting yourself from catastrophic costs in the future. American National Insurance keeps premiums low by attracting clients who choose to self-insure the small stuff. Most people don’t understand basic economics, so they file claims all the time, driving up the cost of insurance year after year. You listen to Rush to Reason, so you probably have a better head on your shoulders, financially speaking, than the average homeowner. Still, you can learn new strategies from Paul Leuenberger to practice responsible money management. The smartest homeowners only file claims in emergencies, opting to pay out-of-pocket for everyday expenses. Personal responsibility benefits everyone, enabling you to afford total loss coverage. Call John’s personal insurance agent, Paul Leuenberger, with American National Insurance for details about his one-of-a-kind rebate program, 303-662-0789.
SPEAKER 14 :
The best export we have is common sense. You’re listening to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 13 :
Yeah, again, really quick as a reminder to folks out there listening where you may not enjoy the insurance sides of things, which none of us do. that never gives anybody, anybody, an excuse to kill a CEO over disagreeing with how insurance companies work. If you don’t like how they work, we lobby, we change politicians, we vote, we do all sorts of different things to counter that, but taking someone’s life is never the answer. And as conservatives, we should be very, very, very careful in what we’re actually commenting on, agreeing with, liking, or whatever when it comes to those types of comments. I’ll be back. Hour number two is next. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 04 :
The Average Guy’s Ordinary Average Guy
