I always enjoy it. This week is rolling by, but I appreciate you joining us, Al. All right. I know on your program, you talked about something that’s very important. This is Health and Wellness Wednesday. And part of why I bring Alan on Wednesdays is because he’s here with his own program from 2 to 2.30. So it makes it easy for Al. But on top of that, you’re… Financial health, the future of and so on, has a lot to do with keeping stress at bay. And stress, as we know, Al, is a big impact, has a big impact upon our lives. In some cases, literally, it’s a killer. So we want to reduce stress as much as possible. And I think, Al, for a lot of folks, that can involve not only our finances now, but our finances if we’re not here. In other words, when I die, what happens to those that I leave behind, and am I taking care of them?
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, I totally agree that can be stressful. But I also think that when people think of life insurance, they think of, oh, man’s got a good job. He makes six figures and maybe the wife works too, but they’ve got a mortgage and car payments. So they get a million dollars of term life insurance, which is certainly a good thing. But the flip side of that or extrapolating that down the road, there are some really important reasons to have life insurance well into retirement under certain sets of circumstances.
SPEAKER 04 :
Correct. And for some of you that are listening, and these are things Al can share, with each one of you on a individual basis, and I would highly recommend that because I always say everybody’s situation, whether it’s health, finances, you name it, I get car questions on Saturday. Every one of those is unique to you as an individual. But when it comes to life insurance, Alan, what you’re talking about, the reason why I say it’s very specific is because depending upon who you are, what you’re doing, and so on, you You can do what they call bank on yourself with your insurance policy if you do that correctly on down the road, correct?
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, that is very correct because I’ve met with younger people and they can use life insurance as a vehicle to accumulate wealth. And when it’s time to retire, that accumulation can generate tax-free income, which is quite attractive in reality. retirement because you don’t have to follow rules of the IRS. You don’t have to follow rules of IRAs or things like that.
SPEAKER 04 :
And really quick, because you’re borrowing against an instrument that’s there, just like you would be taking equity out of your home. And when you borrow money, there’s no tax liability involved, correct?
SPEAKER 19 :
Yeah, that’s exactly right. Now, If somebody starts one of those plans, maybe in their 30s, and by the time they’re in their 60s, they’ve maybe put in $200,000, but it’s worth $500,000. If you cash the whole thing in, you pay tax. But if you take these loans and distribute that money over a long period of time, then it just generates tax-free income like a cash cow, and you don’t have to follow those rules.
SPEAKER 04 :
IRS rule IRA rules IRS rules like 59 and a half and right all those rules and for some of you listening what you’ll see at times is people talking about this is how the quote-unquote rich do things to where they still have a nice income but they pay less in tax than what somebody else made these are one of not all of but one of those instruments that allow you to do that right Al
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, absolutely, and I’ve also met with some people, very recently a gentleman, and he and his wife live very comfortably on Social Security, but they have also a significant nest egg that he’s going to convert to Roth. over time. But because he has this significant SDAG, most of it is in IRA funds. And if he were to carve out at about age 70, if he carves out about $10,000, that can create a tax-free inheritance of $250,000 to his heirs. And so that’s morphing taxable money into tax-free money without having to follow any particular guidelines.
SPEAKER 04 :
Question for you, for some listening, too, that might be younger. And I say younger as in maybe in their 30s, 40s, or even 50s, potentially, Al. Do they still have life insurance policies? And I’m guessing they do. But do they still… have life insurance policies that also give you other type of benefits. We talked about where you can bank on yourself and do some of that. But what I mean is outside of death benefit, can you get, you know, long-term care and things like that built into the policies as well? So as you get older, maybe you age 75 and now all of a sudden your family has to put you in assisted living or something along those lines where you need more care. Are there policies that allow you to do both?
SPEAKER 19 :
Boy, you’re absolutely right. That example I gave of somebody age 70 putting in $10,000 and they get a quarter million dollar of coverage, that can also generate between $4,000 and $5,000 a month for long-term care.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 19 :
Now, if somebody decides to do that when they’re in their 50s, instead of it costing $10,000 a year, it probably only costs $5,000 or $6,000. And then that person can still get that same amount of money for care. And I very much like the idea of using life insurance to pay for long-term care because I checked the mortality rates before you came on the show, and they’re still 100%.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, that’s one guarantee, isn’t it?
SPEAKER 19 :
Yeah, yeah, it is. Yeah, it is.
SPEAKER 04 :
Gee, Al, you just burst my bubble.
SPEAKER 19 :
Yeah, that’s one even Yogi Berra could predict.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, that’s a predictor. Absolutely. Yeah. Well, in all seriousness, folks, we’re talking against Health and Wellness Wednesday. And what I’m getting at here, and I think you guys can understand where I’m going when it comes to Al, really these are things that you need to sit down, make an appointment with Al, And as I say with even all of our other folks, whether it’s Michael Bailey, whether it’s Kurt Rogers on mortgages, just be honest with these guys. They’re going to know where you’re at anyway, so you might as well just sit down, lay it all out, and say, here’s what I’ve got. Al, help me with where I need to go, how I get there, and how I’m not only the most protected, but as I get older in life, I’m not a burden to my family, and yet I can still enjoy life.
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, that’s absolutely important, and most people don’t necessarily need life insurance in retirement, but there’s a lot of circumstances where it’s really helpful. I’ve seen some folks who have very healthy Social Security benefits, and if one of two people pass on, and both the husband and the wife, then those benefits are chopped in half, and then the survivor has to live on half the income, but… your real estate taxes are the same, your homeowner’s insurance is the same, costs about as much to heat the home. And I’ve also met people in retirement who still have significant debt, student loans and things like that. So there’s a real place for it in retirement under certain circumstances.
SPEAKER 04 :
Again, as I said earlier, folks, not a one-size-fits-all, anything financially related. In fact, there isn’t anything that’s a one-size-fits-all. I mean, there’s a few things that might be that way. The gospel, that’s a one-size-fits-all. But outside of that, Al, most everything needs to be tailored to the individual or the couple or the family, all of the other circumstances surrounding it, and you really need to make sure that you’re dialed in because far too many people, you and I have talked about this in the past, far too many people do no planning And then when they get to be that age, 70 or so, they’re like, oh, this isn’t working out so well.
SPEAKER 19 :
It becomes an emergency plan.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, because nothing got planned. And I say this a lot as well. It’s never too young to start. Some of you that are listening to me that are in your teens, it’s never too young to start. The sooner you start, the less per month it costs and the more you have on down the road when you get ready to retire. Right, Al? Yeah.
SPEAKER 19 :
Boy, you’re absolutely right. A client of mine who retired from Xcel Energy talked about somebody who started working there when they were 18 years old, and all they did is make significant contributions to his 401K, and he has a seven-figure 401K now. So he’s in the driver’s seat, although he was not an executive or an entrepreneur. He was just somebody that saved on a regular basis.

All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. I appreciate you guys listening very much. I’ve got some text messages coming in. I’ll do my best to answer those as I can. It’s always a little more difficult to do that when I’m alone, but I still do my best to get those answered. And you’re always welcome to text 307. 200, 82, 22, 307, 200, 82, 22. And Soren sent me a text message and he said, am I talking about him being young and investing? Soren, absolutely. It’s never too early to start. And at your age, if you started with just a little bit, By the time you get older, you will be far, far, far ahead of all of the people that are around you, and that’s how that works. I’ll just give a great example of that. So you don’t have to be a gazillionaire to save and have that money accumulate over time to where you’ve got a nest egg built up, and I appreciate that. And, yes, that does fit into Health and Wellness Wednesday because the healthier we are financially speaking – Frankly, not that it’s a guarantee that your health and everything else is going to be great, but when you’re financially sound, typically you’ve got the ability to make other decisions and do things in your life that make it a lot less stressful. Let’s just say it that way. All right, impossible question of the day. When squeezing and stretching an 11-pound, that’s a 5-kilogram, lithium ingot into a 6-inch-wide foil roll used in making lithium batteries, how many feet will that foil roll out into? And believe it or not, it’s 6,600 feet, 1.25 miles. That’s amazing, by the way. That’s absolutely amazing. Today’s impossible question. Out of 2000 high schoolers that were surveyed, What percentage think college is unnecessary for a successful career? And by the way, that’s an interesting question for today, because as Andy and I even spoke yesterday, and I had a text message along those lines as to the fact that anybody that voted for Donald Trump is essentially illiterate. The left is even saying now that we have entered into the post-literate era. In other words, anybody that voted for Donald Trump, the majority of people that did— got him elected as the next president of the United States. Essentially, they’re illiterate. They’re stupid. They’re not very smart because they voted for the wrong person, according to the left. I know it’s Health and Wellness Wednesday, but I had to throw that in. But along those lines. What really is stupid, yes, I can say that word in this case, because you can’t make this stuff up. And I’m sure some of you have seen the story. Several of you sent this to me. I had to go verify it to even see, this can’t be true. This has got to be one of those Internet memes that just can’t possibly be true. Costco, we all know who Costco is. having to recall 80,000 pounds of butter, this is their Costco brand, so the Kirkland brand, because the label doesn’t include milk as one of the ingredients. Now, that’s about as ignorant as you can get. This is our government at work, by the way. Because Costco’s not recalling this. They’re being made to recall this. They’re forced to do this recall. The FDA said they have to do this recall because, again, it does not say contains milk. Now, this is Health and Wellness Wednesday. This is a food thing. Yes, I know this is kind of political at the same time, but holy cow, how ignorant can people be? There’s many a video, by the way, just as a side note, and this is a health and wellness topic. I’m sure we’ve all seen videos, and even some of us are old enough to where you’ve watched somebody in the family or you yourself have made butter out of buttermilk. In other words, we know that’s where butter comes from. And there’s kind of a trend right now, Charlie, where people are literally buying buttermilk and making their own butter because I guess they finally realized this isn’t that difficult to do. I can make my own butter very easily and for a lot less money than what I can pay for it at the grocery store. It’s funny, when times get tougher, like they are now where grocery prices go up, you kind of find all these little tricks and tips and things that can reduce the cost of things, which, by the way, we should be doing all along. And I get it. It’s easier just to go to the shelf, pick up the package of butter. Is it still one pound they come in, Charlie? I’m ignorant on that. I’m sorry. Is it a pound a stick and so you get a… So six sticks make up a pound? I don’t either. Those of you that cook, tell me how many sticks make up a pound, because I don’t know. I don’t pay any attention. I honestly, I don’t. I don’t bake or do anything along those lines. If I need some butter, you cut a little off the end of the stick, and off you go, and I don’t really worry too much about it, and I don’t know exactly how many. I think in most boxes, there’s like four sticks in a box, I want to say. I think I do know that. And again, there’s all sorts of different butter brands on the market. You can get, you know, the Irish cow butter that costs an arm and a leg to just regular butter locally, and you can get organic and this, that, and the other. Well, again, you can make your own butter if you want. And yes, FDA, I know, and I thought everybody knew, I thought it was fairly common knowledge that butter, in fact, does come from milk. So it would contain milk because that’s where it’s coming from. Now, margarine and things like that, no, those are a whole different deal, and those don’t come. from what we’re talking about because it’s not real butter. In fact, you shouldn’t eat it. That’s a health and wellness topic in and of itself. Those things should not be eaten. Sorry. They just shouldn’t. We know the adverse effects of margarine and some of the substitutes for natural products, i.e. butter. Interesting too, just a side note, I’ve talked about this in the past. And it’s something that, again, our… government, I guess you could say, because of the food pyramid and the lobbying group from the sugar industry and so on, years and years and years ago, we were told, salt bad, sugar good. Too much salt, you’re going to have hardening of the arteries. Too much salt, you’re going to have this. Too much salt, you’re going to have that. Well, guess what? We were preached at for so long that salt was bad that most people today have a salt deficiency or an iodine deficiency, believe it or not, because even the salt that they’re getting is not the type of salt they should be getting because of that avoidance of. And yet, sugar intake is at an all-time high. We consume more sugar than we should. And that just shows you where if a group, a lobbying group, i.e. the sugar industry, can lobby politicians enough and line their pockets enough to get them to push something enough, to get the public to believe in something enough, you can change the trajectory of people’s health. And that’s what’s happened in America. You all see those pictures where they’ll show images of the beach from like 1969 to images of the beach today. And by and large, large being the key word, people are twice as big as they were in 1969, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that. in some cases, literally twice as large as what those people on the beach were in 1969, some, you know, 50 plus years ago. So it shows you what can happen when certain organizations get control, and this is where, this is Health and Wellness Wednesday, and this is where you look at some of the new people that Trump is going to put into office and into certain positions, and you look at the entire system we have needing a revamp. Not only do we need a revamp when it comes to how efficient government is through the DOGE department, which Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk are going to run, but you look at things that RFK Jr. want to be involved in making America healthy again, the Maha movement. You know what? After doing this show for as long as I have on Wednesdays, eight-plus years now, we need some things changed in this country as to how we do things. We are one of the unhealthiest countries in the world, and there’s no reason why we should be when it comes to what we eat on a daily basis. We should be the opposite of that, and a lot of it has to do with what’s available, what’s pushed. what is not controlled, I guess you could say, the thought process even behind it, the training from when kids are little, and so on. So we’ll see how that changes on down the line. In fact, I may try to get some folks in and do some interviews during this particular hour. I actually had a dream the other night. I forgot to say this, Charlie. I actually had a dream the other night that we were able to interview RFK Jr. during this hour. Now, would he have time to come and join us on Rush to Reason during Health and Wellness? I don’t know. I doubt it. I guess we could always reach out and see. But I will say this. It is his goal to get the word out to as many people as possible to try to change how they see things when it comes to food and intake and diet and exercise and literally all the things we talk about here on Wednesdays. He would be all for it. I think what RFK Jr. would tell you is we need more of this. What we’re doing in this hour on Wednesday is we need more of because a healthy country will be better off all around than one that is not, economically and so on. So those are things I can get into later in the program. But reality is this particular story I gave you, Costco being forced to recall close to 800,000 pounds of butter because they don’t have milk as an ingredient. It shows you how little I cook anymore when it comes to that end of things, but thank you for that. We appreciate that very much. All right, our next guest, without further ado, Stuart Tomp joining us now. Stuart, welcome back. How are you, sir?

I’m great, Mr. John Rush. Good to hear your voice.
SPEAKER 04 :
Good to hear from you, too. We appreciate it. Cold and flu season for a lot of people. It’s here in other places, maybe not quite yet because the temperatures have been a little warmer in some spots, although it’s around the corner. And in my notes here, it says that our kitchens could be harboring an unexpected health hazard.
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s true, I want to take a different angle to cold and flu. We always hear about vitamin C and elderberry and zinc and all of those immune modulators. But what happens if our cells are so deficient in omega-3s because we’ve been pouring soybean oil, we’re hearing more about it, seed oils down our gullet, and driving inflammation, preventing us from being able to deal with a viral impact of the cold or something even worse. So I think people are doing themselves an enormous disservice by ignoring the fatty acids when it comes to strengthening the immune system as we go into the cold and flu seasons.
SPEAKER 04 :
Question for you. I just talked a moment ago about the story where Costco, the FDA, is making them recall 800,000 pounds of butter because it doesn’t say it contains milk on the packaging, which is absolutely lunacy, Stuart. But my point of this, talking about butter. And I talked about this before you came on. We’ve been trained over the years, you know, salt bad, this bad, that bad, sugar good. I mean, all these things that, frankly, Stuart, are opposite. In fact, butter has had a bad rap over the years because, you know, it’s bad. It’s bad for your heart. It’s bad for this. It’s bad for that. So then we substitute with things to what you just mentioned a moment ago. I mean, I’m not saying that everybody should just lather butter on everything that they’re eating, but wouldn’t butter in a lot of cases, because it’s natural, be better than some of the alternatives?
SPEAKER 10 :
You’re making an excellent point. There’s one caveat to that. If you do have the genetic predisposition, it’s called APO4, APOE4. If you’re that genetic allele and it’s rare, then you don’t do as well with saturated fat. That being said, put that aside, there’s been a giant conspiracy to tell everybody to stop eating butter and to eat soybean oil.
SPEAKER 07 :
Right.
SPEAKER 10 :
And so I agree with you completely. If we go back to lard and tallow and butter or even coconut fat or ghee like they use in other cultures, that’s missing everything. That might be a missing link with what’s going on in the diet. I couldn’t agree more.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, and the reason I say that is I just look back at my ancestors, and I look at some of the women in my family where everything was home-cooked. I mean, my mom, Stuart, was born at home, back on a farm back in the day. I mean, the reality is… You know, they ate and did things differently back then. But yet what you’re talking about are the very things that they used to cook and eat and so on. And yet they live to be, you know, I had a great grandmother that lived to be almost 100 years of age. I had a great aunt lived to be 102. I mean, you look at that and say, well, wait a minute. What are we getting wrong today?
SPEAKER 10 :
I’m so happy you’re saying this. There’s a rare fatty acid that’s kind of trendy right now. They’re calling it fatty 15, pentadecanoic acid. And they’re trying to say it’s three times more powerful than omega-3. It’s all marketing. It’s hogwash. Do you know where you get this stuff?
SPEAKER 06 :
Where?
SPEAKER 10 :
You get it in milk. You get it in butter.
SPEAKER 06 :
You’re kidding me.
SPEAKER 04 :
I’m serious. Okay, wait a minute. Time out, time out, Stuart, because that’s another one where we’ve heard for so long that, you know, the only people on Earth, you know, the only beings on Earth that drink milk are, you know, babies that, you know, once they’re weaned, they no longer have milk after that. Of course, we’re talking about animals, so there’s no reason why humans should drink milk after they’re quote-unquote weaned. And frankly, Stuart, I still love my milk.
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, there’s certainly a place for it. And that’s why I call it the big fat story, why I always look forward to getting on your show. Because let’s face it, as I said when I was on before for some of you that have never met me, that we figured out the protein issue. Our kids are taller than us.
SPEAKER 07 :
Right.
SPEAKER 10 :
Right. We eat too many sugars. We know this.
SPEAKER 07 :
Right.
SPEAKER 10 :
But when it comes to fat, wow, are we confused. Certainly the trans fatty acids are bad, but you’re making an excellent point. There’s been this giant rush to demonize butter and dairy products, and replacing that, we tell people to drink soybean oil, safflower, sunflower, cottonseed oil. There’s been a thousand-fold increase in soybean oil from 1909 to 1999. Now, I don’t blame big pharma. I blame big food.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
Because the reality is that the fatty acid, and you know where I’m going with this, that we are the most deficient in is omega-3. Now there’s a paper that just came out recently called Modulation of Inflammation and Immunity. by omega-3 fatty acids. Listen to this. It says, semicolon, a possible role for the prevention to halt disease progression in autoimmune, viral, and age-related disorders. They have found out that most Americans that are so radically deficient in omega-3 can’t mount the correct immune inflammatory response. Omega-6s are pro-inflammatory. Omega-3s are anti-inflammatory. But we are all out of balance. We’re so far out of whack. So I strongly encourage people, please, Google omega-3 and immunity. There were studies, listen to this, showing viral diseases, including COVID-19, including COVID, showed improvement in symptom severity, recovery prognosis, and probability of survival with the use of omega-3s. But if you’re not testing, how much is in your body? And, John, I’ve got to ask you this. Did you do your omega-3 blood spot test?
SPEAKER 04 :
I did, and I’m pretty good. I’m not as good as I should be, meaning I need to do a better job of not only probably supplementing but eating the right things, which for all of you listening, you guys do a great report on that, Stuart, as to what I need to change, dietarily speaking and so on. It’s very enlightening and instructional at the same time. There’s nothing there that scares me. It’s just, okay, here’s some things that you need to improve in. What was your score? Do you remember? Oh, you know what? I should have brought that report with me. Hang on. I might be able to grab it for you. Keep talking. I might be able to grab it.
SPEAKER 10 :
While you’re doing that, so the one thing I want to remind everybody is, you know, it’s not like go hog wild on the saturated fatty acids, right? That’s what we have in butter. But we certainly need some. The issue with too many saturated fatty acids, and those are ones we measure on our test, by the way, palmitic acid. What happens when we eat too many saturated fats? Well, it induces something called NF-kappa-beta, which is a pro-inflammatory pathway, and then the expression of COX-2. That’s the enzyme that converts the omega-6s into the pro-inflammatory signals. So that’s why I want people to start testing and stop guessing. We measure 11 different fatty acids. The saturated fats, the omega-9s, the omega-6s, and the omega-3s. And that number is the most important number. My prediction, listen, it will be on the standard blood panel in 10 years. It’s more predictive of your future health outcome than LDL, which is a joke. HDL, which is questionable. Triglycerides, which is a residual risk. LP little a, a little better. Omega-3, six balance, the omega-3 index, they’re critical. Did you find your score?
SPEAKER 04 :
No, it’s on my other computer, but I believe I’ve got a copy, so I’m still scrolling and looking for it. Okay, and really quick, a question I have for you on all the things you just mentioned a moment ago. Why don’t we test even for the right thing, Stuart?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, because first of all, let’s be fair. The omega-3 index and the 6-3 balance is only 20 years old. And we were stuck on Ancel Keys. Let’s go back to butter. Ancel Keys told everybody saturated fat raises LDL cholesterol, right? LDL cholesterol increases the risk of coronary vascular disease and death. Now riddle me this. If statins are the number one selling drug in the history of the world, and most people’s cholesterol is below 100, and if they had their way, they’d put it in the drinking water for kids and get it down to 50, why is coronary vascular disease still the number one killer?
SPEAKER 07 :
Good question. I’ll tell you why.
SPEAKER 10 :
Because it’s actually inflammation, and they know it. So what are you doing to find out how much inflammation is in your body? Now, look, I like the herbal things. turmeric, right, all of these other anti-inflammatories, but that’s not what your body uses to resolve inflammation. What I’m talking about, the omega-6-3 balance score, that’s the ratio.
SPEAKER 04 :
And I’m 27 to 1.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay, the military suicide was 25 to 1. Okay. You’re 20 seconds. You want to be 3 to 1.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 10 :
So what you can do is you can take more sardines, anchovies, more mackerel, cold water, oily fish.
SPEAKER 07 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 10 :
I like the balanced soil because that’s what I’m doing, but what matters is the number. See, the reason I’m so excited about this is is instead of arguing about which brand is the best, what’s the ratio in the bottle, you are 27 parts omega-6 to one part omega-3. What does that mean? You get a cold. You have an immune reaction. The immune system turns on, but it doesn’t turn off as effectively because you’re deficient in omega-3s. It’s about balance. It’s not about good or bad. They’re both essential.
SPEAKER 04 :
And really quick, too, for everybody listening, what I did, too, Stuart, to make sure that I was getting what I felt like was the best result for me based upon what I do normally without supplementing or anything. I didn’t do anything supplement-wise, which I will do periodically. I don’t do it daily. Probably should. But I didn’t do anything for quite some time. Then did the test to see where I was at based upon just what I’m eating, not with what I’m ingesting supplement-wise.

Now, you’ll like this. That test is a reflection of your red blood cell, and it only turns over every 120 days. It’s not like a blood sugar test that you could inadvertently spike by drinking a glass of orange juice. It’s a reflection of the tissues. Yeah. If you can go from 3% to 9%, listen to this, it correlates to a 40% reduction in all causes of death.

Okay.

Of death. So people ask me now what I’m doing. And I say, you know how eventually everybody dies? Well, for the people that would like to put that off longer and live healthier, I help them achieve that goal. Are you interested in learning more? And if they say yes, I say we should talk. This is the most important number that you don’t know. That omega-3 index is more predictive of your future health outcome than any biomarker ever. So why? It’s only 20 years old. It’s not mainstream medicine. They’re finally having to accept that it isn’t just about LDL. To your point, butter doesn’t cause death, okay?

It doesn’t. What you need is to have the right ratio. So remember, they’re saturated fats, monounsaturated. Poly and highly unsaturated fats. Your number, it was what, 3% you said? Yeah, 3.2.

There are 100 fatty acids in the cell membrane, and only 3.2% of your cell membranes are made of omega-3, EPA, and DHA. What’s the problem? That red blood cell now is thick and sticky and rigid. The nutrients can’t get in. The waste products can’t get out. Can you imagine? It’s like a hungry ghost. Then the red blood cell with all that saturated fat in there, a little bit too much saturated fat, not enough unsaturated fat, the red blood cell can’t become half of its size. to sneak into the microcapillary to carry oxygen and nitric oxide and gases through the body. So check this out. When you get your number to nine, it will also increase your VO2 max. That’s the ultimate number of longevity, VO2 max. It’s the measurement of your oxygen metabolism. So here are the results. Your immune system will be better. Your brain will be better. Your brain is good. You’re fast, man, right? Your skin will be better. Aches and pains in the body start to disappear. Now, is it a panacea? Of course not. And I’ve had plenty of guests come on and talk about the very things that you’re talking about. So the reality is, Stuart, is it sort of like, okay, the choir’s now singing. There’s more people like you doing this. I will say no one else has a test like this, which I’m a data guy. fixed cars most of my life until, you know, coming on air and doing this. So I understand how the mechanical end of things work. I like reports. I like data. You know, it’s that old saying, you know, you can’t hit the target if it’s not there in the first place. So if you don’t know where you’re at, how do you fix it?

Exactly. And that’s why I want everyone to please test your omega six three ratio. If you’re interested in your health. if you’re concerned about longevity. And how about this? The data says that no matter what we’re eating, we’re outliving our money. That is paradoxical. Have you seen how many people are turning 100? Charlie Munger was planning his 100th birthday. So when I hear Pam and Spam and Ding Dongs and Chicken Nuggets and Hoes and Krispy Kremes are killing everybody, eh, I’m not so sure. You might be disabled. And if we’re going to live longer than anybody, you need the cellular flexibility. Here’s the other thing. Cell-to-cell communication. With that kind of a sticky, thick, sticky cell membrane like you have, you’re getting a fraction of the optimal cell-to-cell communication. Hey, we need some more neurotransmitters. Hey, we need some more vitamin A. Hey, we need some more vitamin D. You can increase all of that simply by going from 3 to 9 and going from 27 to 1 to 3 to 1. And what I love about this is… There’s no sales shtick here. I can be as excited as I am. It’s about the number. That’s what’s important.

We gave you my numbers on where my omegas are. And like I say, I really watch what I eat and so on and so forth. I will say this, though. And what he said made a lot of sense to me. I didn’t realize that 120 days is how long it takes for your body to go up or down accordingly. And I will just say that my family, myself, we had a really, really long summer. I don’t know how else to explain it. I don’t want to get into a lot of details, but we did a lot of things family-wise, had to downsize my folks. And, you know, my mother passed away. September and on and on we go and it was just a whirlwind of a summer meaning you typically don’t eat as well or even on time when things are like that so I’m living proof that you really have to be disciplined about these things and watch what you’re doing and be conscious of and I’ll be the first to admit that everything that went on this summer in regards to that I’ll just say this, we just had a summer that was in disarray. I worked a lot of evenings, even after coming from here, I would go to my folks’s and work there, we’d get home, you know, as the sun was going down, which in the summertime is, you know, 839 o’clock at night. We did that again on the weekends, and literally just worked almost straight all through the summer, trying to get things done. And for the majority of that, I had some help from some kids and nieces and nephews. But for the majority of that, it was my wife and I and my brother-in-law and sister. So four of us did a mountain of work. And in turn, because of that, you’re doing a lot of things on the go, not necessarily fast food, but also things that you probably wouldn’t be eating regularly because of all of those things that you’re doing.
