They are good. I would like the warm weather back, but hey, we’ll settle for what we got.

Yeah, it was kind of a light switch that just went off, as it always is. We talk about this, you know, pretty much every year. All right, those folks that maybe, maybe just turned on their furnace for the first time this past weekend. And that, you know, in some cases, Hunter, depending upon their home and how much, you know, natural sunlight they get and so on, might have been the case. But let’s say they flipped it on and nothing happened.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, if that’s the case, there’s a few easy things you can check. Obviously, always check your breakers. There’s always going to be a disconnect switch that looks usually like a light switch right around your furnace. You want to check and make sure that’s on. Make sure that your gas pressure’s on or your gas is on as well, that’s usually a lever on a gas pipe close to your furnace. So those are a couple things you can check to kind of avoid a service call at that point. And if it’s anything more than that, go ahead and give us a call and we’ll make sure to get you up and running.
SPEAKER 12 :
And things happen, as you know, Hunter, things can sit, especially those folks that don’t have You know, air conditioning, things may have not been running, may have just been sitting for the past, you know, six months or so. And so, again, to your point, they flip things on and, you know, and if you’ve got kids or grandkids and things like that, you know, stuff can sort of get messed with. Let’s just say that, Hunter.
SPEAKER 11 :
Absolutely. And I mean, one of our big calls this time of year when people first start turning on their furnaces is actually animals. A lot of times the animals get in the flue pipes, birds and squirrels and stuff.
SPEAKER 13 :
Oh, there you go.
SPEAKER 11 :
Make nests or they themselves get stuck in there and that can cause the furnace not to work and there’s nothing… Really, to get it to work, we have to come in and remove those animals or those nests to get everything up and going.
SPEAKER 12 :
Okay, that makes total sense. Right now with you guys, as far as business and all of that, how far behind are you guys right now? In other words, if somebody needs a service call, what are we looking at?
SPEAKER 11 :
We can get to you within a couple, three days usually. If it’s an emergency, obviously no heat can be an emergency in Colorado. So we do run after hours calls for that if it is necessary.
SPEAKER 12 :
Okay. What about folks that are thinking about, you know, it’s been a while since I’ve done any major upgrades. I’d like to maybe save some money. I know that the higher efficiency furnaces will allow me to, you know, not only have in some cases more refined heat is maybe a better way for me to say that, Hunter, but at the end of the day, I might save some money as well. Is that something you can help them out with also?
SPEAKER 11 :
Absolutely. And then, yeah, they are getting ready to switch almost all brands because of the, and it sounds crazy, but because of the refrigerant change. Come January 1st, most brands are taking advantage of that, I guess is the word I’m looking for, to go ahead and switch out and go to their new series of equipment. Okay. come January 1 could go up with that kind of stuff so definitely if it’s something that you’re thinking about or call us and estimates are free so we can kind of walk you through it and we’ll make sure that we give you make the best help you make the best decision for yourself we’re not going to force you into anything you don’t want to do but then that way you can kind of have all the options and questions answered.

I’m well. How are you today, Todd?
SPEAKER 12 :
I’m good. It’s been a little bit since we chatted, so welcome back. And there’s still time to talk because there will be folks still voting, even potentially filling out ballots today and or tomorrow, depending upon what their schedule is like. So let’s talk about your campaign.
SPEAKER 03 :
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I’m really excited about this campaign. We’re looking like we have a chance here. We’ve reached over 9,000 doors with literature, three rounds of over 10,000 text messages, 7,000 letters, an ad that’s received over 30,000 views. We’ve been featured in five articles, including Denver Post, Englewood Herald. and New York Times. And I just am really excited. The best part is my opponent, Meg Froelich, she had to double her campaign spending this year in 2024 compared to 2022. And half of that, $30,000, has been spent in advertisement in the last 30 days. So you know what? Maybe there’s something she knows that we don’t.
SPEAKER 12 :
No, that is awesome. To your point, I think that… Shows you that they’re a little bit nervous. We’re seeing that, I think, on the national front as well. And I know I talked about this when you were on with us. I think it was back in June before the the I think before the primaries we had you on, which you won. And so you’re here now. What are you finding? Has anything changed since then as far as the concerns people have here in Colorado?
SPEAKER 03 :
You know, I think a lot of people really are concerned about the practical day-to-day effects of like cost of living is rising. You can’t afford a home anymore. Grocery costs are skyrocketing. And so when you find that when you’re actually out talking to people, there are some ideological concerns. But for the most part, people are just concerned about living their life showing up to work, coming back and not having major economic crises every day. So I would say like that’s been the biggest thing that I’ve learned. And my opponent’s doing nothing to address that concern. And so the only thing that might be suggested is more tax breaks. But gosh, there are better ways to make life more affordable for everyone. Absolutely. So we just need better policies in place.
SPEAKER 12 :
Absolutely. Describe to us one more time. I know we did this when you were with us back in June, but HD3, what is its territory and makeup?
SPEAKER 03 :
You know, I said this last time. It’s kind of like a rectangle that wanted to be a jigsaw puzzle and wasn’t sure which way to go. So it is. It’s Anglewood Cherry Hills. Sheridan area as well. We have a little bit of Centennial and Littleton.
SPEAKER 12 :
Okay. And makeup of, I mean, are we mostly, and I know the makeup of the entire state is not quite even a third, third, third. It’s actually a fairly even Democrat to Republican, a few more Democrats than Republicans percentage-wise, and the majority being independents. What’s it like for HD3? About the same?
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s about the same. Exactly.
SPEAKER 12 :
All right. In other words, you guys have a chance of pulling, which which we talk about on this program a lot. Got to pull that independent vote that’s in the middle over to our side because they are a large portion of what’s here in Colorado. And I just I don’t want to get off track, Mickey, but I don’t know why we can’t figure that out sometimes as a state, as a party, because that’s where it’s at. We have to draw that middle voter in.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely, we do. And I mean, that’s really what represents a lot of people. And, you know, I talked about this last time in the interview, too. But when one party becomes progressively more progressive, you can’t just gaslight the majority of people who aren’t that progressive and say that you’re the center ground. You’re not center. You’re novel. You’re new. So you are now your own camp of thought and you’re leaving behind a lot of voters in the process.
SPEAKER 12 :
That’s right. And I think even our side has to remember that same thing. What you just said, I think, is very appropriate for both parties to look at and realize that you can’t, to your point a moment ago, you can’t do that or you’re not going to win elections. You’re going to lose that middle voter. They’re going to go someplace else.
SPEAKER 03 :
Absolutely, they are. That’s what we’re seeing.
SPEAKER 12 :
So when it comes to, number one, we’ve got folks need to be voting right now. If you haven’t voted, folks, please do so. If you’re in that area, put a little, use a Sharpie, however you want to fill out your ballot. I haven’t gone over how to properly fill out a ballot, Mickey. I think most people know how to do that at this point. A Sharpie works really well. But make sure you fill in that little circle next to Mickey’s name. And I’m still one right now. You can’t mail anyways. You’re too late now. For those of you that have waited this long, you need to drive it down to wherever your local drop-off box is. You can do that all the way up until tomorrow as well. And I also know, and this is something I’m not 100% sure of, Mickey, but I think if folks haven’t even registered, we do same-day registration in Colorado. So I believe if you’re new and you’ve moved here and you’ve got proper identification on your address and so on, you can register to vote and still vote in this particular election, correct? Correct.
SPEAKER 03 :
That is absolutely correct, John. I’m so glad you brought that up. So if you think like, well, it’s probably too late anyways, I can’t register. No, we do. John’s right. You do that same day voting. So please get your voices heard because this is looking to be a close race. And we want to see if we can reclaim this seat by a Republican candidate for the first time in history.
SPEAKER 12 :
Absolutely. And again, I talk about this. I’ve interviewed quite a few people, Mickey, that are running either on the Senate side or the House side here in Colorado. And the reality is we aren’t that many seats away from a supermajority. We need a seat at the table. We need somebody like you and others. I mean, not just you. We need other Republicans to be elected so we can get a seat at the table, because right now we don’t have much say in what goes on.
SPEAKER 03 :
No, we really don’t. We are close to supermajority, and so that should motivate Republicans. Like, look, this is a great time to vote. Don’t wait for the 2026 election. We have momentum now, so we need to take charge of that so we can have better balance in our Colorado legislature. So today is not the day to give up. We have to have courage, and we’ve got to fight strong.
SPEAKER 12 :

I wish we’d go back to the other way of doing it, but it is what it is. And if you have voted, great. Thank you. Question of the day. From Friday, the April 1995 Friends episode, the one with the evil orthodontist gave birth to a new trend. The trend was known as the hairstyle, the Rachel. So I guess that was a big, I don’t remember all of that Charlie back then, because I was really probably into female hairstyles and all of that, but that was a big deal. The Rachel was what that was known as, and that was the answer to Friday’s question of the day. Today’s. Question of the day, what sport did California legalize on November 4th, 1924, after a 10-year ban? What sport did California legalize on November 4th, 1924, after a 10-year ban? So that’s it. David Strzeski is going to join us here at the 3.30. In the meantime, I’ve got plenty to cover today. We’ll get to everything most likely because of just how much there is. And then tomorrow, Andy and I will sort of recap where we’re at, what our predictions are, and not just predictions on the presidential race, but what will happen in some of the other races statewide, national, and so on. And I get this question a lot. I had several people texting me even this morning. How do I feel after the weekend? Where do I feel things are at when it comes to the national election, Trump versus Harris? And as of right now, at this moment, and I’m still not thinking it’s going to be a runaway on either candidate, but it could be. And I’ve said before, and if you do the states, you know, if you go through like 270 to vote and click on the states, and I did my own map. I’m not going to publish that because I don’t want anybody knowing my thoughts at this point. I just don’t. I’ve sent that to just a couple of people is all. But could Trump win by 50 electoral college votes? Yeah, I think he could actually. Will he? Folks, I don’t know. I mean, there’s still a lot of things up in the air. Not a lot happened over the weekend other than a couple of things, which I’ll get to a little bit later in the program, but I’ll just give you a little teaser so you can go look it up yourself. In case you haven’t yet, I’ll probably not talk about this until 4 o’clock, but… The squirrel story from the Internet. Peanut the squirrel. If you haven’t seen the story about Peanut the squirrel, and I was talking to Luke, who produces our show previous to us, and Luke didn’t know about the squirrel story. peanut. So I said, go look it up. And it’s not, how do I want to say this? I mean, I love animals just like anybody else. Am I upset when an animal dies? Probably not like a lot of other people. I mean, if there’s a squirrel on the side of the road, do I cry over it? No, I don’t. If a prairie dog’s on the side of the road, do I cry? No, I don’t. I’m not that guy. But this particular story, when you read what actually happened and the injustice that was done in this particular situation, which there was, this is different. And I really feel bad for this family and what happened because none of what happened with Peanut the Squirrel should have. And here’s my point with how this works in regards to the election. And I don’t think I’m wrong in this. Go look up the story. Again, I’ll talk about it in the 4 o’clock hour. But go look up the story. It’s a tremendous overreach of government. Tremendous overreach of government. In fact, I can’t think of a better example of overreach of government than this story. Meaning that if you’re Kamala Harris and her campaign and you’re watching this story, you’ve got to be thinking to yourself, oh my word, you guys couldn’t have picked a worst weekend to have done something like this than what you did prior to the election. And I don’t think, Charlie, would you agree with me? I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say that. This has got to be the worst timing for something along those lines you could ever imagine because essentially it was a raid on this person’s home, couple’s home, Multiple FBI agents, FBI agents. Well, maybe not FBI. I think there was some FBI. I got to go look up the story. Don’t quote me on that. Government agents, let’s just say that, in New York, raiding, literally raiding the home because of a pet squirrel. And I’m not exaggerating in any of this. And I’ll give you the rest of the story next hour. But I would encourage you to go look up the story yourself. And there’s no way this bodes well for the Harris campaign. You’ve got Donald Trump running around talking about too much government. Let’s downsize things. We’ve got too much corruption, too much this, too much that. And then this story breaks over the weekend? This can’t be well for the Harris campaign is my point. Now, is that going to play into the outcome? No. You know, stranger things have happened. That’s all I’m going to say. Stranger things have happened. When you look at government overall and the total overreach that it has and the fact that people are getting sick and tired of it, and you’ve got one candidate running around talking about how he’s going to downsize government and get rid of some of these sorts of things that I’m talking about right now, Does that sway a voter? Could. Could. We’ll find out tomorrow night. Do I think we’ll know tomorrow night? There’s a prediction for you. I’ll talk more about that as we go through the program today. I think you’ll have a pretty good idea, yes. Will we know exactly? I’m not going to say that, but do I think we’ll have a pretty good idea of who potentially will win tomorrow night? A lot of scuttlebutt right now in regards to the election and if Trump wins, you know, what does crypto do? He’s sort of a fan of crypto. What’s your thoughts on all of that?
SPEAKER 05 :
You know, it’s really interesting as we think about this crypto conversation. You know, it’s supposed to be regulated by a governing agency that is not the executive branch, but the Securities and Exchange Commission, DOL, etc. So there’s a number of jurisdictions that this really touches. But but there’s no question that President Trump here has has mentioned that not only is he making, you know, different Bitcoin transactions at some of these events, but he’s created his own coin. And so he’s a very pro crypto candidate. And he’s said that he’s going to end the war on this, whereas the Democratic Party and specifically Elizabeth Warren. But but also, you know, Kamala have have taken positions that would say that they are not for this. They’re against this. And, you know, to be very honest with you, it’s confusing to me when the Securities and Exchange Commission doesn’t really, you know, step up and say, hey, we’re the leaders. We’re actually just one nation here. And, you know, this is what we’re going to be doing. But no question, this is very positive for the crypto market if President Trump gets in.
SPEAKER 12 :
It’s interesting. I mean, I don’t have a lot of stake in the game. We’ve talked about this in the past. You know, there’s a lot of folks out there that invest heavily in it. I’m not one of those. I still, I guess, David, for me personally, don’t fully trust it yet. Maybe that’s just me. Maybe I should, but I don’t. I don’t feel like there’s much backing there, if any. I mean, the backing of it, which I guess is true with… The dollar, although that’s a whole other conversation. With Bitcoin, though, it literally is, I hate to say this, it’s total faith in it alone and the people that are involved with it. And if at any point in time somebody’s faith goes away, big players, that thing’s doomed, if you ask me.

Well, the same would be true of the U.S. dollar. True.
SPEAKER 12 :
Difference is, there’s trillions of dollars of assets that the U.S. itself and its economy owns that Bitcoin does not.
SPEAKER 05 :
For sure.

And really quick, I want to make sure that I’m thinking correctly there. While we’re a country that’s very deep in debt, $34 trillion, we also are a country very rich in assets that back that up.

Yes. Yeah, no question. We’ve got the most liquid markets in the world. That’s why we are the world’s reserve currency, and I don’t think that that’s ever going to change. My actual big concern right now is with the debt and everything that’s happening with the BRICS nations is that the 10-year treasury loses the world’s reserve asset status as this is what construction projects are built up, insurance projects, etc., And so here’s what Bitcoin is. It is a decentralized, and here’s what it is. It’s computing power that’s done the work. So whether you mine with a mine and you get an ounce of gold or silver out, or you mine with a computer and you do some very, very, very complex math problems, to solve this equation there’s only 21 million possible each bitcoin breaks down to 100 million what are called satoshis think of them as individual pieces of bitcoin right it doesn’t have the the world’s answer to to currency what i think it’s going to be is a uh a class one asset that is very finite and you lose your keys you lose your crypto there’s 21 million possible but there’s millions of these coins that have been lost over the years because people have not custodied them properly Easy to get in trouble with this stuff, but in my personal opinion, John, full disclosure, I’m a significant investor in cryptocurrencies, and I was not for the longest time until I saw the light and am actually even, full disclosure, you know, investing in a bank right now that has an exchange because I believe so much so in how this advances the future.
SPEAKER 12 :
Oh, and again, you know me, I’m pretty open-minded. I’ve just, in my opinion, I’m like you, maybe a little late to the game, but on the same token, a very, sorry to use the pun token, but But very – how do I want to say this? I mean, I work hard for what I have, Dave. And the last thing – so I’m not a gambler. The last thing I want to do is lose what I’ve already worked so hard to gain. And I know a lot of people out there feel the same way I do. And it’s partially why I’m not a huge crypto investor.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, and so here’s the answer. There’s a lot of people in this world that have the exact same statement. The difference is they don’t have the benefit of the United States dollar anymore. as the currency that they’re paid in, that they bank with. And so let’s say that you’re in a nation that’s seen significant inflation. And you go, shoot, if I keep holding my normal dollar that’s got 20% inflation, 40% inflation. By the way, just look it up. It’s all over the world right now significantly. You hold Bitcoin. You want to go and illegally travel to the United States and you’re going to get robbed a million times? Guess what? You remember 16 individual words And you can log in to any place with internet into your account. And you remember those 16 words, you now have access to your full wallet. You didn’t have to hold it with you. There’s a number of things that are kind of interesting with this. There’s some nefarious things that could occur as well. But overall, I think of a lot of the crypto coins as sort of like the algorithms for how businesses are going to operate in the future. And you think about like computers and the internet today, we’re doing so many amazing things. Well, you know, if you think about even like your cell phone bill, there’s a bunch of different little taxes that you have to pay just for the jurisdictions to all work that we can connect a call. Well, you’re buying little portions of technology that are going to be able to connect the calls of the future. But it’s going to be more in the financial space and more in how you transact from the store. And I think, you know. Don’t waste a good crisis. I think there’s probably a great baking crisis that’s going to be coming up here. I’d say 2025 seems pretty good for me as far as the timing of it goes. And drop it all on Trump as he gets in here and then blame the rest of the world. But then move to a central bank digital currency, which is another thing that your viewers are probably confused about. It’s like, what is this thing that they’re talking about? Central bank digital currencies that the U.S. dollar might do. And basically, the answer is that the United States is saying, hey, we’ve actually been transacting a central bank digital currency, I believe it was since October 15th of 2022, amongst the eight largest banks in the United States. And this central bank digital currency is designed to be your transaction place. And I think they’ll probably give some version of a monthly stipend to people, and that’ll be the way that we set up our accounts. And so I’m not trying to fear and speculate on some weird stuff here, but If the U.S. dollar is in trouble, like I think that both of you and I can share, this is a part of the way that they’re advancing the ball. It’s not the right answer, to be clear, but it is what they seem to be doing.
SPEAKER 12 :
I saw something else over the weekend that had me scratch my head because I don’t know that I – I mean, I guess I can believe part of what this particular person was saying. Actually, I think it was a pastor, and I didn’t look this person up. I guess I should have. But he was basically claiming that, hey, watch out. We already are in a recession, which, yes, I agree with him there. I believe that we are. The economy is a lot worse than what you think. In fact, no matter who gets elected, Trump or Kamala, there’s going to be more of that coming. I don’t know that I can disagree with that. But his thought is that there’s a lot of the powers that be that want Trump out. to win so that they can blame him for this particular upcoming recession that will be worse than what it’s already been and that they’ll blame it all on him. And that’ll have an effect, of course, upon the 2028 election. I don’t know that I can buy all of that, to be honest with you.
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, here’s what I know for sure, and that is that the news media has no problem in blaming him for pretty much anything.
SPEAKER 12 :
That I’ll agree with, absolutely. No matter what happens, that’s true.
SPEAKER 05 :
I think that they would love to blame him. I think that they would love to blame his tax cuts. I think that they’d love to blame a lot of different things. Because we’re talking about two diametrically opposing ideas that are running for office right now. So here’s the thing that I’m going to say. I believe that we need to vote for policy, and he has policies that work. And these aren’t just ideas. We’re going to say, hey, let’s give $150,000, $25,000 for tax credits for brand-new people in the United States that have never worked here, never lived here, never voted, never done anything positive for it. But let’s get money and inflate the real estate market and hurt everyone else. There’s a lot of ideas that are going on out there. They are very dangerous on the Harris side. Absolutely. Absolutely. I can’t say it enough. I think that Trump’s got the right team to get this thing back on track. And so love him or hate him, there’s a lot of Democrats that recognize that he’s the best answer here forward. And that’s why you’re getting a lot of people flipping. And it’s kind of fun to watch Twitter these days.
SPEAKER 12 :
No, and I have. I’ve watched a lot of that as well, and I agree with you on that. And I guess when I was saying I have a hard time believing, not that the press would throw him under the bus for anything. No, they will. I just have a hard time believing that there’s higher ups out there looking at it and doing some of these nefarious things that this particular guy is predicting will happen. I think that was more of my sort of pullback. And again, you know, As you know, David, there’s always somebody out there predicting something. It’s how they get clicks and views and so on. It’s how a lot of these guys make money. So it is what it is. I’m just saying that I don’t see any higher up Democrats trying to throw that on Trump. If anything, they would look at this and say, wait a minute, we can make more money under Trump than we can her. Let’s go that route. Right.
SPEAKER 05 :
But I think that a lot of what this election comes down to, it comes down to, are we going to do World War III or not? That’s right. If he gets in, he’s clearly not going to be.
SPEAKER 12 :
And the other parties… And by the way, there are some higher-ups in the Democrat Party that would love to see World War III. There’s no doubt about that. There’s some warmongers out there on both sides of the aisle, as you know, David, that think we profit from war, and some do. But overall, it’s hard on a country. And the days of being in war and having it good for the economy, those days are over, by the way.
SPEAKER 05 :
Absolutely. We don’t line up in the same uniforms anymore. It’s IEDs and expensive things. Correct. It’s just a bunch of carnage over nothing. These are proxy wars. These have no interest for the United States. Nope. They cost us money.
SPEAKER 12 :
I mean, they create inflation, David, as you know. That’s right.
SPEAKER 05 :
That’s it. Absolutely.
SPEAKER 12 :
Plain and simple. They create inflation. So, yeah. But I do think, yes, there are some higher ups in both parties, by the way, that would want to see both those wars, the ones in the Middle East and the one that’s happening over in Ukraine and Russia right now. Yeah, they’d love to see those things go on indefinitely.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah. And so, you know, you’re going to see, I think, Trump come in and you’re going to see more inflation happen in the short term because everything is going to rocket to the top. because they’re going to have an expectation that both candidates cut taxes. They’ll extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. I think you’ll get both. Well, what you’ll see there is a slightly mixed review on the bond market because the bonds might start going up initially, but they’ll actually go down on the price. uh, later on the Harris side of things, it’ll look positive on the bond market, but it’s actually going to destroy our nation because everything she’s going to do is just print, print, print, print, print. Um, and very negative or anti-business, uh, even though she kind of selling sounding pro business, it’s just that a lot of it is DEI based.
SPEAKER 13 :
Right.
SPEAKER 05 :
And you know, you go, okay, well you’re going to help businesses, but what kind of businesses and why would it be based upon somebody’s skin color? Like I thought we were so far beyond that as a nation. And yet here we are having conversations about this right now in 2024. So it’s a weird time to be living in right now. But, you know, I think that we are going to see a lot of probable chaos here before the year’s over. And I don’t want to say that in a crass way. I just think that there is something that we haven’t seen yet that’s going to occur. I think we’re looking at legal battles and stuff getting locked up. And the question is, is that good or bad for the market? Well, it’s a mixed bag. And ultimately, I think it melts up before it melts down. Could be sooner than later, but it could be extended out into Q1, Q2 of next year. Good point.
SPEAKER 12 :
Good point. Really quick before I let you go, what do you feel about some of his policies that he’s proposing when it comes to the economy? He’d like to, for example, institute something where if you buy a new car made here in America, you can deduct that interest, things along those lines, which, by the way, as a I’m a car guy myself, David, and I realize right now that we need some more car sales and used cars in the market and so on. That is really stagnated of late. Inventories are building on dealer lots and so on. There has to be a match truck someplace to get some things going. That’s not a bad idea.
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, absolutely. I mean, we have to figure out how to incentivize the things that we need to promote. So we need to promote more manufacturing here in the United States. And so, yes, that’s definitely going to happen through some certain policies and incentives. The Inflation Reduction Act obviously gave significant incentives for solar and electricity. and EVs, et cetera, that maybe or may not have benefited anybody.
SPEAKER 12 :
In fact, that’s the downside to that one is EVs have tanked, as you know, and right now a lot of manufacturers are literally running from those things as we speak. So Trump’s idea is way more beneficial than that.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, yeah, no, absolutely. And we do need to rethink what is stimulative to the United States and why do we want to do any of it. We need to get more back to friendshoring, reshoring. That’s right. Some of the policy moves that are being made that are sort of saying like, hey, avoid paying tax on the tips. Hey, I was a waiter when I was going through school. Huge help. And by the way, I declared every single one of my tips, but I was one of the only people that did so. And I remember the difference in paycheck that I had versus others out there. I think stuff like that benefits the average man in a way that’s very valuable. So I’m a fan of those type of thoughts that get down the main street. And I think that people can get behind different ideas like that and they can see that, you know, hey, this guy’s representing everybody. because that’s what you have to do as the president. I do not feel like Kamala Harris represents me or my interests whatsoever. In fact, I think she’s very diametrically opposed to things that I would want to say are my interests. And so in a couple of categories, at least. So that’s the part that’s scary. And, you know, everyone’s in the valley of decision right now. So we got 24 hours. I think we need to be vigilant and pray and hope for the best here. But This guy didn’t die on July the 13th. So I believe that there’s divine providence that’s behind this.

All right, now I’ve got several different messages saying, hey, don’t worry, you know, Trump’s going to be fine. You know, I’m glad a lot of you have that confidence. I feel fairly confident that that will happen as well, although with any election, it ain’t over till it’s over. Just remember that. And I’m not saying that, you know, there’s a risk of him. Well, there’s always a risk of somebody losing, him included. I do feel with some of what I talked about earlier as we opened up the show that some things have happened here of late that aren’t voting well for the Democrats. But, you know, they have a machine. They have a voting machine, if you would. In other words, they know how to turn out the vote. They do very well at that. Now, as Andy was stating on Twitter. Friday, the hatred that they actually have for Donald Trump. Does that mean that a lot of those early votes are that and what’s going to turn out through, you know, the rest of, you know, tomorrow for a lot of folks that will vote in person tomorrow? I don’t know. Hard to say. I have no idea. And what will happen, you know, even we’ll start getting some reports back in probably, let’s see, 5 o’clock tomorrow night, 7 o’clock on East Coast. Polls will start to shut down then. Probably won’t know a whole lot until later in the evening. I’m thinking 8, 9 o’clock you’ll start to see some things roll in and get some trajectory at least in some areas. Although keep in mind that a lot of the cities… And the voting that goes on there and then them loading up those tallies, those things don’t typically happen until later in the night. But you can kind of get a pretty good idea of what some of the trajectories are like. And they do some exit polling and so on. How accurate will some of that be? We’ll know more tomorrow night. So I appreciate the confidence that some of you have. I’m confident, although anything can happen. I mean, I’ve sat in this chair now through multiple elections. And who knows? Who knows? It ain’t over till it’s over. That’s all I’m going to say. And all the more reason why all of us need to encourage those that we know, no matter where they live in the United States of America, to vote. And hopefully they’re conservatives and they vote in that fashion. You know, we get the Christian vote out. We’ve talked a lot about that. Andy and I have. We’ve talked about it on the National Crawford Roundtable. You’ve heard even our owner say, Don Crawford Sr. talking about the Christian vote, getting out and voting and so on. And why in the world somebody wouldn’t vote is honestly beyond me. I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to vote. I always used to tell my employees this even years and years and years ago. If you don’t vote, don’t complain. It’s that simple. Don’t complain if you’re not voting. Don’t complain about anything. Because if you’re not voting, you’re not participating in what’s going on, and you really don’t have any say at that point in time. I want to have a say. I want to vote. Whether it goes my way or not, I still want to at least do my part and have as much to say as possible. And when it comes to some of the local things, which, by the way, are as important, in my opinion, as some of the national things, yeah, vote. Some of the amendments and things that we’ve talked about here on this program over the course of the past several months, yes, get out, vote, make that happen. How is this all going to go? We’ll find out more tomorrow night. Now, a lot of the statewide things, and Andy, I’ll talk about some of this tomorrow. Those things we’ll know pretty much tomorrow night. I don’t think there’ll be any issues along those lines. There might be a few areas and some few politicians in the state where we may not know some of those outcomes. And this has happened in the past until Wednesday or even Thursday, depending upon how close that particular race is. But this leads me to something else. Be careful what you read. There’s an article in The New Republic, for example. Lauren Bolbert’s old district is about to be recaptured by a Democrat. That’s the headline. Three days ago. Yeah, no, that’s about as fake news as it gets. Has Lauren’s number slipped a little? Maybe. Does Lauren still have a really solid chance of winning her district? Yes. Whoever wrote this, this is clickbait. That’s what I call it. It’s getting somebody to click and read, and that’s how they make money. But I don’t see Lauren losing this race. I’m sorry. It’s just not going to happen. Could it have happened in her old district? Yes. Will it happen in this one? Highly doubtful. So, again, this is a really bad headline. This is actually a lie. It’s misleading. It’s bad news reporting. Lauren Boebert’s old district is about to be recaptured by a Democrat. That makes it sound like she’s losing. In fact, it makes it sound like she’s losing handily. Yeah, no one even knows who her opponent’s name is. Thank you, Charlie. I don’t even know. I’d have to look it up. I’m sorry. I mean, I don’t even know. I don’t follow it. Most don’t. This shows you, and this is a particular article written by Paige Ornick, I think I’m saying that right, Ornick. Paige, I know you’re not listening, but oh, my word. If you can’t write a better article than this, and I know it’s a, you know, who knows who put the headline in. Maybe she didn’t do the headline. Somebody else did, some editor. Who knows? Hard to say. But honestly, be careful what you read. This is true for those of you on the left and the right. This goes both ways. It can be very sensationalist on either side of the aisle. And you’ve got to read through the article to even know, okay, what am I reading? Is this right, wrong, or otherwise? Boebert is actually facing Tricia… Calvary’s? Am I saying that right, Charlie? Calvary’s? I don’t know the person. It’s a first-time candidate. Sorry. Not going to happen, folks. Don’t know this woman. She’s not going to win. This article is completely, the headline is completely out of line. And again, if you’re somebody on the left and you’re actually reading this and are participating in this, shame on you. I would call my side out on this. You should be calling your own side out. This is just sensationalism. It’s fake news. It’s wrong. And my point is, be careful what you read on either side. Just because somebody’s making a point or publishing something and getting it out there in the public doesn’t mean that it’s right and or that it’s accurate. We had officials in the GOP here in Colorado running ads for the opponent who we’re now running against. Frisch. Don’t forget that, folks. Those of you that are hardcore in that side of things, don’t forget that our own leadership was running ads against our candidate in the primary. and basically running ads for Frisch.
