Yesterday, this came from Joe, by the way. What are the benefits of using a slotted or perforated spatula compared to a solid one? Drains the excess liquid, it reduces sticking, it’s lighter and more flexible, and better airflow when you’re actually working around the food and so on.
So there’s a reason why we have slotted spatulas.
Well, and there’s less wind resistance on it when my wife slaps me.

By the way, did your family ever use that kind of punishment on you? Mine did. My dad had to use the belt on me and I deserved every bit of it.

Did I ever tell you this story when I was a kid one time? I’m not kidding. My parents came home.

So it would shine more. So I flicked butter up on all the cabinets all over.

And I’m still alive today. That’s an amazing thing. Just a little kid.

You didn’t go to church when you were a kid, but we did. And so there was one Sunday night.
We did a little.
This is still vivid. But one Sunday night, we’re in. It’s hot and it’s summertime.
And my brother and I, you know, we’re probably, I don’t know, six and eight. I don’t know, something like that. Right.
And, you know, we’re about as bored as it gets. It’s Sunday night church. We’re bored stiff.
Charlie can relate to this. We’re absolutely bored stiff. And we’re cutting up and we’re dinking around and messing around.
And, you know, you kind of laugh, you know, a little snicker. And of course, people turn around and look. And a few of those and my dad whips us out of the pew and we go outside.
And this is back in the church when there was any air conditioning, all the windows are open.
Ooh.
So we’re outside.
So you’re just outside the window.
Just outside the window. We get one big licking. And you’d think that would have been enough.
So we go back in and church is long at this point. And so we’re sitting there for a while and you kind of cry for a little bit, but then you’re not crying anymore and pretty soon you start cutting up again. Right.
We started screwing around and before you know it, we got taken out a second time with the belt again. So that was it. We didn’t cut up any more of that church service.
Could you imagine if a parent did that outside a church today?
You know, child services would be called.
They would be in prison.
Oh yes, absolutely.
Now, back then, because you guys were probably cutting up, disrupting the church and it was at a different time in American’s history, I’ll bet there were people who were inwardly applauding.
We were doing everything including, so back then, Charlie again probably can relate. So we had wooden pews and they were slippery. Well, we would sit just far enough apart where we’d make, we’d take the church bulletin and fold it up, make a little football out of it.
You know, the triangle footballs, paper footballs, everybody did that.
I did that at school.
So we’re doing field goals in the whole nine yards in the pew. Well, you know, you start dinking around and things happen and you start cutting up and yeah, we got pulled out of church twice that night.
Did I ever tell you, well, first of all, my dad, and we’ll go to break after this.
Yeah, no, you’re fine. Keep going.
My dad was my middle school principal.
Oh, jeez. That’s even worse.
Yeah, I know.
That’s like having your dad be the-
That’s worse than dad pulling you out of church.
That’s like having your dad be the pastor or a deacon or whatever. Yeah, my dad was the principal of my middle school. He had to suspend me once or twice.

I threw a knife in cooking class. Good one, Andy. Not at anyone, at a door.

Well, John, you look at the today’s generations, and obviously, I’m- It’s a hard line to walk. And here’s what I mean.
Would I look at today’s generations and advocate for spanking kids? Yeah, sure. But for belts and things like this, I don’t know that today’s generations, having been raised the way they have been, could do that without being abusive.
A lot of them. I’m sure there are good people who could, but I’m telling you what, people are so fragile mentally and emotionally now, that they would do it out of rage with their kids.

Not for the kid’s benefit.
We just deserved it.

My dad whipping his belt off was like Zorro. That thing would come off in no time.
When my dad did it to me, he knew. Yeah, was he mad because I had done something?

I don’t think that today’s incredibly selfish society has a lot of people who would do it for the benefit of the child. Does that make sense?

When she started out, she’s obviously at least gotten to where she can do it semi smoothly, but it took a long time. Peter, if anything from this administration, I actually completely disagree with the premise of your question, the question that you’re asking. It is also incredibly dangerous in the way that you’re asking it.

That person is going to be able to come back with a very good answer and bang, nail him with an answer. She isn’t coming back to answer his question. Why?
She doesn’t have one. Right. Okay.
And that’s why, what is she doing then? She’s puffing her upper chest and trying to act offended at this question.

Yeah, lady, me thinks you protest too much. The fact is, he just nailed you to the wall.

Yeah. And as you could tell from that, she never once fully, nor did she. You could continue to listen to the rest of the five minutes or so of that clip and never does she answer that question.
No. Lady, how many times is it going to be? Okay.
He asked, how many times is, if he gets shot three, another time, are you still going to use this word? Four times?
Five? I mean, you’ve got an entire, I read some of the articles yesterday about the assassination attempts, some of the forums and questions and answers that come in, Andy, after different articles are posted and so on, and the extreme vitriol for Donald Trump from their side, which, by the way, is fueled by people like her and President Biden and Kamala Harris and other leaders in the Democrat Party. I mean, it’s not just, I mean, go down the list.
Yeah.
When you’ve got these people really just throwing gasoline on the fire, what do you expect your constituents to be doing?
Right. And here’s the big thing, John. Look at your constituents.
Not only are you throwing gasoline on the fire, but your constituents are many, many, many, many, many times more violent than constituents for the other side. Correct. It’s your constituents who are shooting up every major city every weekend.
It’s your constituents who when they don’t have a court case go their way, they are looting neighborhoods and burning down businesses. It’s your constituents for whom we have to board up every downtown when something doesn’t go their way. We never do that for Republicans.
It’s your constituents who cause most of the school shootings. Most of the school shooters, when you look into their past, they lean left. It’s your constituents who are violent, much more violent than the other side.
And by the way, it’s your constituents who also support things like the cartels and are much more willing to work with cartels, terrorists and all this. It goes on and on and on. When they inflame their constituents, they are taking a cauldron and tipping it.
That’s right.
That’s right. Yeah, and I ask any of you that are on the left, because a lot of you listen. I get text messages and emails from you, so I know you’re listening.
How do you justify the things that Andy and I are talking about? because it’s real. I would love for somebody from the left, and we’ll be very kind, but I would love for somebody from the left to call in and justify the rhetoric that comes from your side against one individual man, not all the rest of us, but one individual man called Donald Trump.
How is it you can justify that and then sort of pass off these assassination attempts? because the assassination attempts, by the way, despite what a lot of people even from our side would say, and this is where I’ll, as I always do, I’ll go after either side for whatever it happens to be. Absolutely.
No, folks, it’s not deep state going after Donald Trump. Sorry, we’ll dispel that. Andy and I could talk about that in a moment, but no, it’s not the deep state.
No, I don’t believe in conspiracies along those lines. These are radical lefties coming out of that group of individuals Andy and I are just now talking about that feel emboldened to do the things that are doing in a lot of ways because of the rhetoric coming from that side, much like Peter Ducey just asked Kareen, John Fierre about, correct?
Yeah, absolutely. Look, when you tell any group of people, any large group of people, it can be white people in the 50s or 40s. It can be black people today.
It could be whatever. You tell any large group of people, hey, your rage is justified. You have been treated this badly by your society, by your government, by your country.
When you do that, the more dangerous elements of that group are going to rise up and they are going to commit more violence. Now, so let me do the really quick comparison. How many young Republicans, because these are usually young people, but we can even say, how many young people are in the field?
How many Republicans loot?
How many Republicans or people who are even right-leaning versus left-leaning? How many right-leaning people loot? How many right-leaning people kill?
How many right-leaning people deal drugs? How many right-leaning people shoot up Chicago on a weekend? How many right-leaning people are involved in terrorism?
How many right-leaning people? On and on and on it goes, John. Look, the left is violent, is what I’m saying.
Right. Now, this is why every time there is one right-wing loon, like some Christian who shoots at an abortion center or whatever. Well, we call them out immediately.
But every time they do it, it becomes the biggest story in the world. You want to know why? Three words, because it’s rare.
Right. That’s right. Oh, Charlie says they feel like Trump deserves this.
Oh, yeah. Now, the big thing that they’re doing now, and they didn’t try this after the first one, but now that it’s been two, they’ve got a real problem politically, by the way. This just put Trump back in the race.
I hate to get into that. I’m just talking numbers, so it will. And so what are they trying to say?
Trump brought this on himself with his rhetoric about cats and whatever. It’s just like, in Haitians, people… First of all, this guy was into Ukraine.
He couldn’t care less about Haiti. Right. But secondly, this is…
Whatever happened to blame the… You are blaming the victim. This is like telling a girl who gets sexually harassed, she brought it on because she was wearing a high skirt.
It’s like, hey, wait a minute. No, the guy shouldn’t be doing that period.
She could be naked. It wouldn’t make any… It shouldn’t make any difference, Andy.
Right. You shouldn’t be sexually harassing a girl, you know, or doing any of that period. You guys are blaming the victim, but you only do that.
You choose which kind of victim to blame. You are blaming the victim. He is a victim.
He has been shot at. Well, it would have been twice, but they… Actually, I thought they did a good job catching the guy.
You know, I don’t think they did a good job overall securing the area, but that’s a different story. But you see what I’m saying? They’re literally trying to blame him for his rhetoric bringing this on himself.

I don’t know how you could be from… The question I asked those that are on the left is, how do you defend this rhetoric coming from your side that creates these assassination attempts? because they’re not coming from anything other than your side.

So how can you defend the way that you talk about Donald Trump, is my point.
You say he is Hitler. Well, what do you do with Hitler? You try to kill him.
I talk about Kamala Harris.
I mean, we literally tried to kill Hitler.
And I talk about Kamala Harris and Wallace being Marxist communists all the time. I don’t talk about annihilating them, killing them, that there’s some sort of a, you know, I mean, they, in their case, they definitely are a threat to our country and our republic because if they get their ways, they would demolish everything that our country has been founded on because that’s what communism does ultimately. And they definitely are communists through and through.
Yes. But the difference is they wish to control people’s lives. Trump doesn’t.
He does the very opposite. He takes government out of your life.
Completely the opposite.
It’s completely the opposite.
They’re not even close to the same, Andy.
But even then, you’ve never called for violence against them.

No. The way you beat them is that these elections we’re having here in about 40 some days, I guess it is. Is it 50 days or less now?

You don’t beat it any other way. We’re not going to take people out. We’re not going to assassinate people.
We’re not going to threaten to assassinate anybody. We don’t talk that way at all on our side. No, what we talk about is how do we beat them at the polls here in 49 days?

That’s what it takes.
John, what it really comes down to is this. The heart of a leftist, and it can be a young leftist on the street. It can be a young leftist in a college.
It could be an older leftist who is a college professor and so forth and so on. Or a leftist tech titan. The heart of a leftist is, I want other people to act like me.
I want to control how others live their lives. When others don’t want to be controlled, that’s when you become angry and even violent against them.
Yeah. It’s shown to be happening over and over and over and over again.
They did not give me the ruling in court that I wanted. I’m going to rise up. I’m going to burn down 7-Elevens.
I’m going to act up.

And while there’s some comparisons to those, keep in mind that in today’s world, with the amount of surveillance that we have, social media and the like, drone ability, cameras everywhere, street cameras. I mean, folks, we have got so much technology available to us today that they didn’t have, especially during Harry Truman’s time.
Frankly, there really isn’t any excuse for any of these assassination attempts whatsoever, in my opinion. The only reason they’re happening is botched secret service security. And I’ll just say it straight up, they’re not doing their job.

If it were some sort of foreign actor like an Iran, or somebody from the deep state, I will tell you right now, Donald Trump would probably not be alive. I mean that sincerely, because the opportunities that have existed to have handled that in a correct fashion, he would not be alive today. Telling you that the things that Andy and I have said all along, the deep state and even foreign entities, want Donald Trump to be the candidate because he’s the most beatable of anybody we’re going to put up.
The last thing that China and Iran and Ukraine, and some of these other entities want is for Donald Trump to be taken out of the race. If Donald Trump were killed, and by the way, thank you God that he is not dead. We are all praying for this.
But if Donald Trump is killed, John, I guarantee you, you can write it in stone. Call it the 11th Commandment. His vice presidential candidate will become president.
He’ll win in a landslide.
Yeah, but it would be him.
It would be, but my point is, you could throw any number of our candidates from our side into the midst of what’s going on right now. And the reality is, we win in a landslide.
JD Vance would take on somebody to run with him, and he would win in a landslide, not just because of the uproar over what just happened, but because, I’m sorry, folks, Donald Trump is our weakest candidate. He is disliked by 60% of the American public. JD Vance is not.
I’m sorry, but if we put up somebody else, this is why the left, the last thing the left wants is for Trump to be taken out of the race. Of course they don’t want that.

Not that I listen to a lot of those things, but occasionally after an assassination attempt, I’ll listen to some different things to kind of get some feedback as to what other folks are thinking out there. And the reality is, yeah, no, these are just liberal nut jobs that have gone awry. And I will say there’s a lot of liberal nut jobs, by the way.
If you read any of the comments out there after one of these assassination attempts, I mean, there are absolute livid nut job lefties that would love to see Donald Trump dead. These are very unintelligent people, by the way. These are very, I’ll just say it, demonic individuals that have lost their ever loving mind, because even if they had half a brain, they would realize that, oh, wait a minute, time out.
If he’s not there, somebody else is, and our side probably loses.
Right. Well, let me ask you this, John. What is the number one foreign power that has the most to lose?

By the way, you could say that about JD Vance, you could say that about Vivek Ramaswamy, you could say that about Tulsi Gabbard, you could say that about Ron DeSantis. I mean, I can go down the list, folks. The reality is, China doesn’t want anybody else running besides Donald Trump.

If you do this, it’s going to get to Donald Trump, and it’s going to get him started, and you’re going to get him on a roll, and then you’re going to keep adding this, this and this. And this is how we’re going to approach this whole debate.

And the reality is, and this is where some of these people are finally waking up, Andy, because the polling is now still so close, even after everything that’s gone on, it’s still right now, it’s a coin flip, literally right now. And some of the polling will even show her ahead, some show him ahead, but reality is, right now, folks, no matter what you think, no matter what some talk show host has said, some podcaster has said, it is right now, at this point in time, on September the 17th, at 3.45 in the afternoon, it’s a coin flip, Andy.
Right, and if DeSantis or Vivek or Tulsi or Nikki Haley, if any of them were the candidate right now, this is over. It is over.
It’s not a race, yeah, I agree.
And for all these people, I guarantee you, right now, there are Trump supporters out there, and I love you dearly. I’m a Trump supporter. I know you don’t believe I am, because I talk the truth about this stuff.
