Join us on this captivating episode of Rush to Reason, where Dr. Scott Faulkner hosts a stimulating discussion with Jeremy Sova and John Arlotti. Together, they delve into the fascinating world of frequencies and their impact on our health. Discover how the body’s natural frequencies function and what ancient practices have taught us about energy healing. As we bridge the gap between traditional Western medicine and alternative therapies, learn how you can harness frequencies for self-healing and wellness enhancement.
SPEAKER 09 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 14 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 12 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 14 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did! Get a job, Turk!
SPEAKER 08 :
You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 02 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know, you can’t explain. But you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 08 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush, presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 06 :
Welcome, listeners. It’s Dr. Scott Faulkner, Hour 2 of Health and Wellness Wednesday with my guest, Jeremy Sova. expert biohacker, and our good friend John Arlotti, who has graciously agreed to hold over into the second hour because we had people asking about frequencies. Like, okay, we know that there’s radio waves and that’s a frequency. We tune in our dial to 560 KLZ. That is a frequency. But in the human body world, Is that the same thing that we’re talking about, John, or is it something different? So since you’re the expert in frequencies, you figured this out with your stroke 17 years ago. Talk about frequencies.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. It is different from the frequencies that are out there. When we understand how our body works and we understand that when we ask our big toe to move, it sends a frequency from our brain to our toe and our toe moves. So we start understanding about all the frequencies that our body is processing during a day, during an hour, at every minute. then when you think about your eyes and everything you see and all that is being processed by your brain the brain is doing a tremendous amount so when you figure out because we see matter dr scott we don’t see frequencies we don’t really see what the human body looks like by frequency if we did i think we would be amazed and i think we’d start focusing on If we’re going to change things that’s going on in our body, let’s start there. I mean, Albert Einstein said the future of medicine is going to be in frequencies. He understood energy like nobody else. We are energy beings, and when we understand that, we can start making some headway into really figuring out how to help ourselves and how to heal ourselves.
SPEAKER 11 :
As we back up just a little bit, kind of the four hallmarks that we talk about is exercise, nutritional biochemistry, sleep, and stress in emotional health management. I think this really falls into that stress in emotional health management bucket, which is extremely important, especially for people like me. And just doing a quick dive, there’s certain key frequencies that are linked to certain things like relaxation, calming the nervous system like we talked about in the previous hour, connecting with nature, grounding. There’s music tones and, you know, different balances for connection. And even, you know, if you get a little out there, Eastern medicine, you know, the heart chakra balance changes. So frequencies are definitely a thing. And the more that we can unpack and learn about how to apply those in our lives to attack that stress portion in that parasympathetic nervous system, that vagus tone, the better off we’re going to be. So it’s really good that we’re introducing this to the conversation.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. And it’s kind of gets at the heart of what we talk about. And when we say, yes, we’ve gone to conferences and we actually have medical literature behind or the science behind why we do what we do. Cause I’ll be the first to admit when I went through medical school, I looked at Eastern medicine and naturopathic doctors. It’s like, okay, that’s a lot of woo-woo. Really, because there wasn’t the scientific papers, right? It’s like, show me the science. Double-blinded placebo-controlled trial. And that’s what Pfizer is really good at shoving down our throats as doctors. But now researchers are starting to come out with the papers. We saw that 9,000 of those doctors there in Las Vegas. And guys, here’s the research. It’s a real thing.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I mean, I believe you even have a device coming, some kind of a chair, a shift wave chair that actually works on meditation sound therapy.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right.
SPEAKER 11 :
And I just look, there’s different frequencies and hertz that it doesn’t make sense to go into by number. But these AI bots definitely think that there’s a big there there. And in my world, that’s all I had to see to apply it in my own life and then measure it and see what it’s doing, how much of… Whether it’s the patches or the shift wave chair or I go into a harmonic egg and meditate once a week and be able to measure those stress markers on my aura ring and on my spreadsheet. So it’s exciting to have a new toy to play with, so to speak.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, because you’re the data geek. You actually see it. You actually follow this stuff. And you’re like, there’s really something to this. That’s right. It’s not just woo-woo medicine. Right? There’s something to it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Ironically, it’s the biggest struggle for me. You know, I got the exercise down. I got the nutrition down. I got the sleep down. But I’m an always-on kind of a guy. Cortisol levels are great. Adrenals are fine. But the fact that my key is broken in the on position from a business perspective, you know, that relaxed state, that calming is something that’s extremely important for my health and well-being that I keep picking away at. So thank you, John, for introducing another tool for the belt.
SPEAKER 04 :
It will come to you. It will come. I mean, when you start working with frequencies, I mean, you look back and you study, you know, ancient history, and you look at the American Indians had drums, different size drums. You look at singing bowls. You look at acupuncture. You look at all these different things that we’re working with frequencies, and you start going, I think there’s something here. I mean, if people look up sophageal frequencies, monks were chanting frequencies to help people heal. I don’t know how many thousands of years ago, but it was a while back. So frequencies have been around for a long time. They’ve just been kind of put back on the back burner. Dr. Scott can address why that happened.
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s hard to patent a frequency and sell it in a pill.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s in a nutshell.
SPEAKER 06 :
Big Pharma doesn’t make a dime off of it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Thank you. That’s things like vitamin D and, you know, what’s the other one? Natokinase. Yeah. Very good for the body, but you can buy like a year’s worth of it for like 20 bucks and no one talks about it.
SPEAKER 06 :
But yet it’s key. And again, this is multi-modality or multi-factorial. We’re not just saying, okay, here’s the one thing. If you just do this, suddenly you’re going to be Superman. Yeah. If you’ve noticed, we’re talking about grounding. We’re talking about restore patches. We’re talking about music. We’re talking about a shift wave. We’re talking about vagal nerve stimulators. All these things that can help your body bring that cortisol level down to de-stress. And you said something key, John, about sleep. Because even though Jeremy on his Oura Ring is a master sleeper, Most everybody that I see in my office is not. Everybody is a horrible sleeper. So I want you to touch on how your patches seem to help people because what do I have as a provider? Yeah, I can tell you to de-stress and there’s other things, but Usually it comes down to here’s some Tylenol PM. Oh, that didn’t work. Here’s some melatonin. Okay. Well, sometimes that helps a little bit. Not so much. All right. Here’s some ginseng. Or you go through the natural things and then suddenly it’s, oh, well, here’s an Ambien or here’s a Trazodone. Here’s another Lunesta. Yeah. And people are like, really doc, do I have to go there? And it’s like, well, you tried all the simple stuff, but I like your patch. So tell me about the sleep patch.
SPEAKER 04 :
So the reason people aren’t sleeping is because their frequencies are getting messed up while they’re trying to go to sleep. They’re not getting into REM sleep. They’re waking up. Their anxiety is going on.
SPEAKER 06 :
Do you think it’s because of the blue light? Because everybody’s got a stinking computer on their lap when they’re going to bed?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, let’s think about that for a second. And I was actually talking to Dr. Darby about that. You know, The last thing people do before they go to bed is put their phone down. You know, we have to start managing the amount of information. The amount of information that people are getting now is way over what we’ve evolved to as a human structure right now. We can’t handle this much information.
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s overload.
SPEAKER 04 :
It’s way overload.
SPEAKER 11 :
And sleep is the most important of all the things that we can do. Bingo. And every time I ask somebody to list them in order, it’s the one that they put last if they don’t know any better. But you definitely got to ditch the blue light. I use grounding sheets. I find them extremely helpful.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yep, sleep on them myself.
SPEAKER 11 :
Close everything down to complete darkness. Inform the family, the children. Make sure the pets are in order, that you get your circadian rhythm in order, and that you get to sleep at the right time under the right circumstances. And to your point, John, the brain learns. So when you start to train the brain of the right way before you know it, you don’t even need an alarm clock. You’re in bed and up with that eight and a half hours matching your circadian rhythm like clockwork once you get to the point. Because, Doc, you said I have it mastered. I was horrible for decades until I decided to learn about how to get better at things. And then I learned that sleep was number one. And it’s a hard one, too, to tackle. But once you get that licked, and I tried all the things you mentioned, and I found out the natural stuff, the grounding, the getting rid of the light, And getting into the deep restorative sleep. Everyone talks about REM, which is extremely important. But you’ve got to get that deep restorative sleep, you know, for autophagy and cellular turnover to get healthy. Then the brain wants the REM sleep to repair and expand as you come out of restfulness. But we could talk about sleep for days. Well, we should. It’s that important.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, it’s our body getting rid of everything that it went through during that day. And if the last thing that you were looking at was some crazy show on TV – or watching things, information on your phone. And let’s face it, guys, these kids are in front of their phone all day long, and they’re hiding under the sheets because you can see the light under the sheet as they’re looking at their phone. So they’re developing a non-sleeping skill. Jeremy, I have people that call me and say, hey, the sleep patch doesn’t work for me. I go, wait, try this one thing. Hold the sleep patch up and look at it and tell the patch how you want to sleep. And they say, well, that sounds crazy. I go, well, you’re not talking to the patch. You’re talking to your brain. You’re giving your brain last-minute instructions in how you want to sleep. And I think basically for a lot of people, if they just gave themselves two minutes of instructions while they’re getting ready to go to sleep, they’ll sleep better. It works for my wife.
SPEAKER 11 :
You said two minutes. It sounds easy. Two minutes is a long time. One minute, 30 seconds, five seconds. Took me 90 days to get to five minutes. And then, but again, you train the brain, it learns. And another good pro tip is for your heart and for sleep, get into a really hot bath about an hour before bedtime. And that will also turn on the triggers that will help you get into a deeper sleep faster. So put down the phone, get in the hot water, and that should also help with something like a patch.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. So we unfortunately have to go to a quick break. Got a lot of people driving home thinking this is good information. We should take a deeper dive on sleep. But let’s take a mini dive and give people some tips starting tonight, the things that they can do. to help with sleep because you nailed it, Jeremy. Sleep is so critical. And once I got this aura ring and I saw how horrible my sleep patterns were, it was a game changer. I said, I have to do something different. So let’s give people some tips when we come back from the break. Okay. Sounds great. Listen to Dr. Scott Faulkner filling in for John Rush 560 KLZ. We’ll be right back.
SPEAKER 13 :
TJ here with KLZ Radio, and I’ve got Al Smith from Golden Eagle Financial with us once again. Al, we are coming into a new year here now, and we’ve talked recently about getting a fresh look at our retirement accounts. So tell me what that means a little bit. What kind of stuff do you want folks to look at?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, a fresh look is not only looking at the past and seeing how you’re doing, but putting together what you would like to look like in the future, not just growth, but are things on track? Some other maybe non-financial things? Are there some other things that you have concerns about as you get closer to retirement?
SPEAKER 13 :
Very cool. And what do you do for folks when they come in? And let’s say it’s a potential client that you’ve never seen before. Where do you start looking with a new account like that?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, I have a pretty lengthy conversation where we dive into a timeline when they might like to retire and a few income things so we could get a handle on the amount of money they’re going to need to retire. What does that look like for you? Are you going to be traveling a lot? Are you going to be skiing? Are you going to be spending a lot of time at home? Because some people’s idea of retirement means they’re going to need $10,000, $12,000 a month. Other people, $4,000 or $5,000 is going to be very adequate depending on what kind of things they do in retirement.
SPEAKER 13 :
That’s pretty great. Al Smith goes through a lot more than just numbers, folks. He’s about people and really wants to find out exactly what you want to do with your retirement. Al, how do people get in touch with you if they want to start that process?
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, you can reach me at the office, 3037441128. My cell is 303-875-4572. I reply to texts. And if you’d like to hear about taxes as you get closer to retirement, there’s an event coming up January 10th at Arapahoe Community College.
SPEAKER 13 :
You got it, Al. And as always, you can reach Al from the klzradio.com website. Just go to klzradio.com slash money. Al, thanks so much for joining us today.
SPEAKER 03 :
Well, you’re welcome. Thanks for having me, TJ.
SPEAKER 07 :
putting reason into your afternoon drive. This is John Rush.
SPEAKER 06 :
Welcome back, listeners. This is Dr. Scott Faulkner with guests here on Health and Wellness Wednesdays. So before the break, we were talking about sleep and how important that is. It’s kind of the bedrock of everything that we’re building on. And yes, we want to get your biomarkers, I especially as the clinician, because if I don’t measure it, I can’t manage it. And Jeremy? You sure as hell can’t optimize it. Thank you very much. That’s right. So Definitely get the biomarkers, but one of the key cornerstones is your sleep. So we’re starting to touch on this subject. John, you said you had created a restore patch that helps with sleep.
SPEAKER 04 :
I wear one every night.
SPEAKER 06 :
Okay. And then you have something over your bed, a little saying. What’s your saying? What does that sign say?
SPEAKER 04 :
The, oh. that the brain believes what we continuously tell it. So if we tell it we’re not doing well, then we’re not going to do well. If we tell it we’re beautiful, smart, fearless, and we’re worth it and we succeed in everything, the brain’s going to start believing it. So if you tell your brain before you go to bed how you want to sleep, Give it exact instructions on how you want to sleep and that you want restful sleep. It will start putting that into practice. Maybe not 100% the first night, but after you’ve done it for a few nights, you’re going to start finding out that you’re sleeping really well.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, one of the things that I do when I work out in the morning, and I’ve said this in the past, is I got a Carol bike, and I’m just addicted to that silly little thing. But that is my time. And I pray in the shower. That’s the only time I get that’s quiet. I listen to Christian music. And there’s two songs that I play over and over and over again. The first one is by Francesca Battistelli. He Knows My Name. And it’s exactly what the song says. God created you. He knows your name. You don’t have to have your name in lights. You don’t have to be a Donald Trump with your name on every building. Where you’re at, you’re your kid’s parent. You’re a husband. You’re a wife. You’re a child. You’re beautiful in God’s eyes. He created you for a purpose. And you need to live that purpose out. And so when you look in the mirror, you’re like, that’s right. He did make me the way I am. And so I play that song over and over again. And then… There’s another song by Megan Wood that just came out, and it just will rock your world. So just look up Megan Wood. It was a number one song on the Christian charts, and maybe I’ll find it during the break, and I’ll have Charlie play a little bit of it. But those two songs will… put you in that mental state that says i am beautifully made and god has me in the palm of his hand i’m where i’m supposed to be i am who i am supposed to be doing what i’m supposed to do and that’s good enough
SPEAKER 11 :
You just have to use your brain to unlock that purpose. Correct. You’ve got to put the work in. And going back to sleep, it’s not going to come naturally if you don’t put the work in to make sure that it becomes routine. But God gave us the free will to use that brain, which we’ve only unlocked a certain percentage of it, to find our purpose naturally. And then use that purpose for goodness and greatness over time. But all that’s hard when you’re not sleeping.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right. So, Jeremy, you didn’t get much sleep when you were in Vegas, unfortunately, because you were taking Treasure Island for quite a few dollars. Yeah.
SPEAKER 11 :
and played a little bit of golf but um yeah got out some some sunlight but yeah my aura ring hates that town this is the second time um i’ve been to vegas and you know there’s no clocks and they keep you in there as long as they can but um yeah i’m a card player i’ve been for decades so i do enjoy the opportunity to have them let me you know take them for a But, yeah, sleep definitely impacted my ability to navigate all the different, you know, science and literature that I wanted to. Luckily, I was able to take a lot of pictures and download it and learn it when I got home. But sleep is something that is so much more important than most people give credit for it. You know, the first thing they think is, you know, their diet. And they think of exercise. Those two things, diet and exercise, you’ve heard it your entire lives. But nobody talks about sleep and stress. And I think sleep, I don’t think anything else happens unless you fix the sleep first and let the body start to repair itself. And then once that takes place, then you can start to layer on some of these other things that we’ve done to reverse age. Personally, I use grounding sheets. So I’m in a grounding state. I shut down the computer and the phone a good 45 minutes beforehand, the TV 30 minutes beforehand. I close the blinds. I clamp them down so there’s complete darkness. And then there’s intentionality there. And then I get into hot water, whether it’s a hot bath or a hot shower, kind of calm the nervous system and kind of enter the A cold room, because you actually sleep better, so it’s 65 degrees, takes a little bit of getting used to. But once you get into that routine and you train the brain, then all of a sudden you have a hard time staying awake. And your circadian rhythm, whichever one is a little bit unique, if you have an aura ring, it’ll tell you within the first 90 days of, I think I’m a late… um like a late morning person so it wants me in bed by like 10 30 and up by 6 30 and when i fit into that pattern i find much more vibrancy i’m hitting the gym harder in the morning i don’t necessarily need the coffee i just like the taste and the smell so when you get into that repetition Um, it’s nice, but if there’s certain tools that you can use that are natural, um, and not big on the sleep drugs, personally, the ambience and, and whatnot, but it sounds like these, these patches could be, you know, a good, good tool in the belt for those that are looking for a little something extra.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, the pills oftentimes will compensate for something that you’re missing. So talk a little bit about we just came through Christmas with all the goodies and all the parties and the alcohol, the processed foods, the sugars. Hit on that just a little bit.
SPEAKER 11 :
Um, just kind of my experience. Yeah. Yeah. So I’ve been, as you guys have been probably paying attention, really strict on this intelligent aging regimen. Um, but the holidays come around, you know, people come over, they’re bringing their fresh baked cookies and the kids have a sleepover and the parents bring over a bunch of Krispy Kreme donuts. And you can only walk by that stuff so many times before you’re like, well, you know, Yeah, I’ll have a little bit. And over the course of a couple of weeks, I was going to the gym twice instead of four times. I was eating a little bit more processed stuff. And I started to feel it relatively quickly going in between Christmas and New Year’s, a little bit more sluggish than usual. I was actually doubling up on my NAD Plus and glutathione to try to offset it. And I wasn’t sleeping more than five or six hours because there’s people coming and going and you’re hosting. And it threw me off more than I thought because I thought I was in really great shape. But I also went seeing in the last couple of days of getting back, you know, on the train, so to speak, as I’m bouncing back really quickly. You know, so it’s okay to take those, you know, I call it 20% of the time where you’re kind of living your life and doing some of the stuff that’s maybe not so good for you, but you enjoy it in the moment. But I’m afraid for those that can’t get back on the train as easily. They kind of continue down that spiral. They buy the gym membership. They go for a few weeks, and then they stop going. So I think it’s important to have somebody that can help you, whether a friend, a family member, a clinic, a doc. They can help with the accountability aspects of some of the stuff because once you get going, it builds on itself. You’re going down the hill like a snowball collecting. But it’s easy to get off track and sometimes you need someone to kind of nudge you to put you back on track. And I think I’m pretty good at this stuff at this point, but there was still some weakness there in the holidays that I had to fight through.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, I think we all experience a little bit of that and that processed foods, the sugars.
SPEAKER 11 :
It doesn’t saturate you, and your brain says, I want more of it, and I’m going back for a second and third donut. Stuff’s poison. To go back to my opening rant, I just wish this stuff would just disappear entirely and give us whole foods that are good for the body, the microbiome, and the brain.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s right. And my aura ring just screams at me. I took it off when I was in Massachusetts for Christmas because I knew what it was going to be saying. And I’m like, I don’t want to listen to you. I don’t want to see you. Shut up. Yeah, you don’t need the stress. That’s right. You’re going to stay at home. I’m going to enjoy this week of Christmas. Darn it. And I did. And I’ve been one of those people. I don’t like sugar. I haven’t since I was about 16 years old. So when I get a little bit of sugar, it goes a long ways. Sure. And I really feel it. So to those of you who are addicted to the Krispy Kreme donuts and the fudge and things like that, I feel badly for you. I feel it’s tough. It’s almost like somebody who’s addicted to alcohol or cigarettes or something like that. But you have to make that change. You’ve got to slowly start to wean yourself off of this and then start eating clean. And your analogy of the snowball is exactly right. It starts off small at first. But once you start to feel your body starting to get healthy again, then it feeds on itself and then you crave more and more of it. And then you get the willpower, especially if you’re on a GLP. Yeah, the terzeptides, the semaglutides, the retitutides of the world. That will actually give you that willpower to bypass those things and say, no, I don’t need that.
SPEAKER 11 :
I’m glad you brought that up because I’ve had a lot of folks recently that really just consider it to be the skinny shot. They don’t understand the science behind what it’s doing for the body. And they’re like, no, I can do this. I can eat right and I can go to the gym. And I’m thinking to myself, like, why not exercise? give yourself a little bit of a boost that’s going to help you. And then I explained to him, plus it’s good for brain health, heart health, mental health, your metabolic health. It’ll help lower your A1C and your blood sugar regulation. And you’ll lose the weight too and start to develop healthier habits. And they just, they look at the financial component of it. They’re like, no, I can, I can do it the old fashioned way. And I think we need to get away from the word skinny shot entirely and Because now we’re seeing the science like myself where you can microdose it every couple of days, doesn’t impact your muscle, you don’t lose muscle, and you’re starting to see other markers come into play. So I think long-term GLP-1 use, we’re just scratching the surface. But don’t think that it’s a weakness if you want to try this shot. That’s right. Like I’ve been on it now for four years, and I lost the weight I needed for my wedding in the first 90 days. The last three and a half years have been for other benefits. So it bugs me when people think like, oh, I don’t need that. And it’s the greatest medical breakthrough in my lifetime, these GLP-1 agonists. And we’re just figuring out that there’s so much more to them. So it’s exciting to me.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, we learned that in Vegas, right? It’s an upregulator of clotho. So, folks, here’s a brand new word for you. It’s called clotho, K-L-O-T-H-O. And you are going to hear Jeremy and I talk about this a lot in the coming days.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, we may even hold an entire three hours on what Clotho can do.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, I just lent Jeremy the book that I got on Clotho. It is 600 pages, but it is the key to heart health, brain health, liver, kidney, you name it. This one protein is the master locking key to all of it. Yeah, they’re calling it the longevity hormone. Mm-hmm. And so we’re going to talk to you about how do I increase my clotho. I’ve heard about this on 560KLZ with Dr. Scott. What is this? You can start to do a little bit of a dive. We’re going to tease this for now because it’s a 600-page book, and they’re scratching the surface on this thing. It’s incredible. But back to the GLP-1s, you’re exactly right. That’s why I do it for biohacking. My dad died at 45 of a massive heart attack. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s, and I don’t want any part of that. So I do it for the beneficial effects. And now the science is proving exactly what we thought it would. Now we’ve got the studies to show this is why it decreases Alzheimer’s, heart attacks, strokes, increases clotho, helps with kidney injuries, acute kidney injuries.
SPEAKER 11 :
decreases your phosphorus or phosphate people who have a little bit of kidney issues um there’s so many things to it your brain your heart it’s phenomenal what that stinking little protein does yeah they even went through some case studies for mental health they had a you know severely depressed you know suicidal girl named caller emily they went through the entire regimen of everything they tried and um what ended up working for her was uh was read a true tide of all the things that they tried over the years so it’s interesting but You know, it’s a relatively new medicine, but there’s so much good that we’re starting to see come from it.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, well, you say it’s relatively new. You go back to Bayeta because I’ve been practicing for 30 years. I remember when Bayeta came out, the original GLP-1.
SPEAKER 11 :
Never even heard of it.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s funny. Okay, so Bieda, because there were so many side effects to it, it was not a great medicine. It started working. It was a GLP-1, but because of the side effect profile. But a scientist, he was out in the desert, like in Arizona, and he watched, I think it was an iguana, eat a bug. And like scientists, their brains don’t work like ours. This guy looks at that and says, I wonder how that iguana regulates his blood sugar. And that’s what started the research to find the GLPs, right? The incretins, which is leptin, ghrelin, those. And so in the lab, they recreated leptin, which is that molecule that gets released from the stomach lining. When you eat a meal, it makes its way up to your hypothalamus, hits that receptor that says, hey, stop eating. You’re full. You’re satiated. Well, normal leptin in the human body only lasts about an hour, hour and a half. So they tweaked it slightly, added an amino acid. So now it lasts for seven days. But the original… medicine or GLP-1 had a host of side effects, nausea being the number one one.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, the first Ozempic, the first generation.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, think of it as Ozempic, but 25 years ago.
SPEAKER 11 :
Even worse.
SPEAKER 06 :
Ozempic has been out for about 15 years on the market. For type 2 diabetes. For type 2. And so that was semaglutide by Novo Nordisk, but that was the first GLP-1 that showed real promise at Fewer side effects, but it was working well in the diabetics. But we noticed they were all losing weight like crazy. Well, Big Pharma, they’re not stupid. They saw exactly what we saw. So then they petitioned our FDA because they’re a European pharma company. They petitioned our FDA to do another study, the SALT2 trial for weight loss in patients who are not diabetics. And they proved that you don’t have to be a diabetic to lose a ton of weight. So that’s where we got Wegovi from. So semiglutide, but they just changed the name.
SPEAKER 13 :
Right.
SPEAKER 06 :
From Ozempic to Wegovi. And then about a year and a half after that came Terzeptide, the Monjaro Zepbound. And that’s superior for weight loss and fewer side effects. That’s right. And now we have Retatrutide, which is the latest. Now, that was supposed to be approved by the FDA in fall, early winter. Well, here we are in January. And because it’s your government, they’re just dragging their feet and they’re like, well, we might get to it in the springtime. But that one has three mechanisms of action. It’s the GLP-1, it’s GIP, and it’s thermogenic, increases your metabolisms. And that’s a game changer because it has even fewer side effects. But you’re right. The studies that are coming down the pike with Redditor Tide are phenomenal. So guys like me are just bouncing up and down going, this is cool. You’re right. It’s not a skinny shot. It’s not just for weight loss. There’s other really cool things.
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s a great side effect or an effect, I guess you could call it. But there’s so much more. I mean, it’s helping stave off type 3 diabetes and Alzheimer’s.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah. So we’ve gone a little bit long in this segment. We have to take a break. We’ll be right back. And stick with us. Dr. Scott Faulkner filling in for John Rush, 560 KLZ.
SPEAKER 13 :
Cup Creek Heating and AC are your friends in the business, here to help you navigate the new ultra-low NOx regulations taking effect January 1st. These changes could raise your energy bill by $60 to $100 a month. And after the new Colorado legislation takes effect, replacing a unit could cost up to 60% more. Cup Creek isn’t like those big corporate HVAC companies. They’re a father and son team who care more about doing what’s right than pushing a sale. In fact, Hunter talks often about how the industry has shifted towards sales instead of comfort and how Cub Creek refuses to operate that way. Hunter and the ream certified pro partner technicians at Cub Creek are true craftsmen. They take pride in their work. They operate with integrity and they’re always on your side. So let them give you an honest assessment of your furnace. If it still has life left, they’ll tell you. And if it’s time for a replacement, they’ll walk you through easy, affordable options before the new regulations drive prices up. Schedule your no-obligation consultation today at klzradio.com slash HVAC.

SPEAKER 12 :
Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560.
SPEAKER 06 :
Welcome back listeners. Dr. Scott Faulkner filling in for John Rush as the sun is setting here in beautiful Colorado. Um, we were talking initially about sleep and then we got sidetracked on the GLPs, how it’s not just a skinny shock. And, um, if anybody wants to talk about that, I have all three of them. I have semaglutide, I have terazeptide, I have erythritutide. My caveat to you listeners is yes, you can maybe save a couple of bucks if you go online to a HERS or a HIMS or one of these places. but you’re not gonna get educated. You’re not gonna have a doctor with 30 years of experience that can explain everything that we’ve just talked about. and how to do it safely.
SPEAKER 11 :
We just talked about the sweet spot, right? If people are buying stuff online and just taking it willy-nilly, more is better? No. In medicine and science, there’s a limit to what you should have, a minimum and a maximum. If you don’t have a doctor to sit down with to say, hey, did I overshoot the mark here? Am I taking too much of this stuff? Or do I need more? You’re just basically shooting blind and you have no idea what is eventually going to happen because every human body is different. Like I need a different amount than you do of everything and vice versa. So that whole measurement and having someone to go to to talk about it that’s qualified is extremely important.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, because I get that conversation all the time, primarily from ladies, but some men. It’s like, okay, well, I ordered stuff online and I was kind of left to my own devices. I didn’t know what to do. I was going up. Should I continue to go up? And I was getting side effect. I was getting all these issues. And I didn’t know if enough was enough. How fast? What kind of weight loss should I really expect? Was I doing it too fast, too slow? Oh, by the way, my hair is falling out. What does that mean? And it’s like, well, to save a couple of bucks, that’s what you get when you go online. so do yourself a favor if it’s not me find a place that gives you time like my I give you a 30 minute consultation for free I give you 30 minutes of my time to educate folks on exactly the proper way in finding which one of these because we have now three primary ones out on the market that are approved Well, the Red or True Tide is not. It should be approved here in the springtime.
SPEAKER 11 :
Red or True Tide lobbyists squeeze every last dollar out of that.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, and it’s probably going to come down the pike even faster because now a lot of the compounding pharmacies are starting to get a second round of cease and desist letters. from Big Pharma. Sure. So they’re trying to squeeze every dime now that President Trump has said, well, you’re going to lower your prices. Well, if you’ve noticed, OK, Big Pharma and all their magnanimity, they said, OK, well, we’ll lower our prices. Well, if you look at the price that they lowered it to, I’m still way under theirs. They’re still gouging you as the consumer. So they’re not doing you any favors. So that’s my rant. Give us a call. They’re at Castle Rock Regenerative Health Care. Our number is 303-663-6990. 303-663-6990. And I will help you navigate this. But Jeremy, you’re right. It’s not just a skinny shot. Yes, I can help you lose 10, 20, 100 pounds. But then for the biohacking… effects, right? The downstream effects that are good. That’s right.
SPEAKER 11 :
I mean, I’ve three and a half years, I’ve been at my goal weight and I still take it and micro dose it, you know, for all the reasons we talked about. So, um, you know, don’t be afraid that, you know, you’re going to lose all your muscle, you know, make sure you have someone to talk to that, um, You’re getting the right amount of protein. You’re getting the movements in that you need to get in. But we’re seeing these GLP-1s are attacking potentially all five of the horsemen, at least four, which is cardiovascular disease, cancer, brain diseases, and metabolic disorder. And then the one we’re going to talk about in the third hour is the immune system, which has gone kind of overlooked, I think, at least up until my experience in Vegas with you recently. Yeah. And the immune system is something that kind of regulates, prevents the other four from even taking place. If you arm your body with all that it has, you know, to fight off these diseases, but then you start doing all these biomarkers and you’re like, I’m seeing autoimmune dysfunction, disorder, disease all over the place. Right and left, yeah. And that’s kind of the root that gets overlooked. It wasn’t even in Dr. Atiyah’s first book. So I’d really love to talk about the immune system in the next hour because I think that lays a foundation for everybody to understand exactly what’s possible because everyone’s getting sick all over the place. They don’t realize they’re immunocompromised, and there’s no way for them to say, well, how do I get my innate and adaptive immune system in harmony and in line? And I learned so much on this particular topic that I would love to share it with the audience.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, we’ll do that in hour three. Those of you who are driving, if you’re like, oh, I don’t have time or I’m just getting my car, I have to make dinner for the kids. This is rebroadcast. It’ll be posted on 560 KLZ, Rush to Reason. You can listen to us. It usually takes a few hours to get reposted.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, sometimes a day or two because they’re doing a really good job of putting the notes together of what we talked about. If you go to either iHeartRadio or Apple Podcasts, Rush to Reason, they’ll give you kind of a readout that you can look at before you listen. So I think that’s why it’s taken a little bit longer. But it’s worth the wait because the information is great.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yep. So John didn’t mean to interrupt. not ignore you, but you’re over here and you had something that you wanted that was on your heart that you wanted to tell the audience.
SPEAKER 04 :
It was interesting when you said you’re going to talk about immune system. And I completely forgot about it. We have an immune patch that you wear on the front of your body that helps with beefing up your immune system. No, no kidding. We have a lot of information on the website about it. That just came out probably six months ago. So it’s a very interesting patch. But the one thing, Dr. Scott, well, two things. One is I’m going to call you to make an appointment to come see you again. Thank you. And the other thing you were talking about, listening to Christian music and doing that, I tell people they have to have a list of affirmations they need to read at least three times a day in front of a mirror if they want their brain to change. Typically, the first one I give them is I have a God-given right to be happy and healthy. When you learn that and understand that it gives you a little bit of leg up on what you have to do, you’re not doing this by yourself.
SPEAKER 05 :
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER 04 :
Dr. Scott knows it. Jeremy knows it. You know, we’re working with a stronger being that will help us. We just have to reach out and ask.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, and don’t confuse happiness with joy, right? We just came through the Christmas season, and one of my favorite Christmas tunes or hymns is Joyful Joyful. And joy is different than happiness because sometimes we get down, we get blue. But when you know who you are in Christ, then you have a joy that surpasses all understanding. And you’re like, this is a tough road that I’m hoeing right now, but I know he’s with me. And so that, I think, is what the point you’re trying to make is you have a God-given right to be joyful. Am I summing that up correctly?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes, and don’t let anybody steal that from you.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right. So we have to take another break. We’ll come back for this right before the top of the hour. And we’ll finish up this topic before we go into the immune system. So you’re listening to Dr. Scott Falkner, 560 KLZ. We’ll be right back.
SPEAKER 13 :
Getting your family an estate plan with mobile estate planner Michael Bailey as a Christmas gift will seem to them like a lousy gift, but someday they will be so glad you did it. Just imagine the joy in your child’s eyes as they unwrap that crisp legal document and you explain that when you die, they’ll be completely cared for. way to go Grinch give them what they really want as a Christmas present this year but make sure that you take care of them when you’re gone by making an appointment for an estate plan from Michael Bailey today your heart will grow three sizes that day just like the Grinch ensuring that you’ve detailed where your things will go property cash anything else that you want to leave them you’ll show your family that you care about them even after you’re gone Now that’s how you show your family love. SPEAKER 06 :
That’s right. We inform you. Dr. Scott Faulkner and friends, Jeremy Sova, expert biohacker, and John Arlotti, who created the Restore Patch. John, for people who are – because radio is a different format. I know you’ve done some podcasts. People are in and out of their car. They’re leaving work. The radio, they’re going to the car. They’re heading into the house. A lot of things coming at them. So a lot of folks may not have caught – what it is that you do with the restore patch. So give us a quick synopsis of what is a restore patch, what do they treat, and how do we get a hold of you?
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay. The website for a lot of in-depth information is restorepatch.com. There’s also an 800 number on there where you can call. It’ll be directed towards me. We came up with a solution for people for anxiety, PTSD, sleep, migraines, energy, clarity. We now have an immune patch to help boost their immune system during the cold and flu seasons. It works on frequencies. There’s no chemicals whatsoever that’s important for people to understand. A lot of people are trying to find alternative ways to get healthy, and the Restore Patch will help. It adjusts your frequencies to give you that pause so that you can respond to situations rather than react to situations that might put you into a panic attack or… Those types of things. Also, the PTSD works really well with veterans. We’re working with a lot of veterans right now. Earlier on the show, we had Dr. Darby Godwin talk about the veterans that she works with. We send her patches for those veterans. If there’s any veterans out there that need more information on this or want to try the patch, we love our veterans. So give us a call, and we’ll be happy to help you with that.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yep. So those of you who missed Dr. Godwin when she was on, her telephone number, she’s located down in Florida, but she will talk to you if you’re anywhere in the continental United States and probably Hawaii and Alaska as well. That number is 850-291-5262. Again, 850-291-5262 for Dr. Darby Godwin, who was kind enough to join us in the first hour. So thank you, John, for what you’re doing. And as a veteran, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I look forward to having several people try the different types. So very, very cool. Thank you.
SPEAKER 06 :
Thank you. And so as the listeners know, if I can put my finger in the eye of Big Pharma, I will. This is not going to hurt you and may help you. So what do you have to lose? So, Jeremy, we were talking about during the break some hallmarks of aging.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah. So in Vegas, I mean, I’ve heard the term hallmarks of aging before, and I learned a lot more, probably enough to be dangerous, but I’m going to try to simplify it for the listeners next month. Apparently there’s 12 hallmarks of aging. There was nine just several years ago, you know, so they’ve added some more to them. So I just want to kind of throw out there that we are going to dive into all 12 of those next month and pair it with the microbiome because the gut brain communication and connection is is far more important than most doctors and myself even realized. And once you get the microbiome set and the immune system in order, then you can start to really layer on some of these other interventional modalities to really turn the clock backwards. And all 12 of the hallmarks of aging, I’m not going to go through them right now. You can look them up online. We’ll go through them in detail next month. But all of them can be helped by what we talked about, you know, sleep, exercise, managing your stress, making sure you get nutrition and supplements. But we’re really going to focus on kind of the advanced medical biohacking interventions that we learned about in Vegas with these 9000 doctors. And I think you have some cool stuff showing up. I know you’ve got a new location opening up in addition to your current location. And I’ve seen the EMTs and nurses with some pallets of stuff coming through. And I’ve asked some questions. And it sounds like several of those things will attack these hallmarks. So we can explain how they pair up next month. But let us know a little bit about what you’ve got cooking.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yeah, so thanks for that. You’re exactly right. So we’re always, Judy and I, Judy is my wife, for those of you who don’t know, she’s my boss, so I salute and say yes, ma’am. But we’re always looking for things like what John has, right, the Restore Patch. I don’t make the Restore Patch, but I give the listeners the opportunity to try it for themselves. It’s not going to hurt them. As a clinician, it’s my duty to first do no harm. And your patches, there’s no way in the world this patch, because I’ve seen it, is going to hurt anybody. But then the next thing is, what other modalities are on the cutting edge? Because we say we’re like the special operators, right? Because when I was in the Air Force, I was located at SOCOM and CENTCOM headquarters. So for those of you who are not in the military, SOCOM is special ops, and CENTCOM is central command, which is the sandbox, Iran, Iraq, the desert area. And so you could always tell the special operators because on their shoulder, on their sleeve, there was a black spear tip. And that’s their motto is we are the tip of the spear. We go in before anybody else. I’ve seen that before. That’s what it means. So we kind of pride ourselves in that we’re that tip of the spear for regenerative longevity medicine.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s why I wore a black shirt today.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right. So I take great pride in that because we help people stay healthy and young and vibrant. I got tired of being in the hospital seeing people that crashed and burned because their doctor did not take the time to listen to them. They don’t even understand all this stuff. They don’t know what a clotho is. They don’t know about a microbiome. Because I went through the same training that they went through. And we got zero on gut health. Zero.
SPEAKER 11 :
And I’ll even put some on the patient. They hide… from going to the doctor because they figure if they close their eyes and ears that, you know, the boogeyman will just go away. Where now we’re learning in everything, not just cancer, but in everything, early detection and intervention is so extremely important. And I put it on the patient these days. If you’re not taking control of your own health and you expect some magical doctor insurance company to, you know, come pick you up and take you in and fix you, That’s on you at this point. The information is there, the literature, the option. There’s A4M clinics all over the country. So no matter where you’re listening from, you can own your own path to a healthier, younger, intelligent aging individual.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s right. And it starts with you taking that first step. I give you a free consult. If it’s me, you can call the office 303-663-6990. Say, I want to take 30 minutes of Dr. Scott’s time. He’s not going to charge me. What do I need to do? And the first thing we’ve said it time and time again, and we will continue to beat this dead horse is you’ve got to get your biomarkers. And then once we get that information, I give you 45 minutes to go over that information, and then we map out a strategy. Now, I could overwhelm people with the things that we’re bringing in. Oh, I could recommend TPE, therapeutic plasma exchange. That’s one of the crates that you saw in the front lobby that’s going into the new center. That’s where we take your plasma, the clear part of your blood, not the cells, but the clear part that has microplastics. It has forever toxins. It has spike protein, all this nasty stuff. We’re able to get rid of that, re-infuse good human albumin, which is pure albumin, doesn’t have any bad stuff in it, and start to get that garbage out of your system. It’s kind of like dialysis for a dialysis patient, somebody who has chronic kidney disease. It takes out the nasty stuff. And then what you’re left with is good, clean stuff. So we have that coming in. I’m putting in a spinal room with a C arm. So everybody has a bad back. You know, you’ve talked to your story several times on the radio. So I got tired of having to farm my patients out that have back problems. pain and back problems because I was never trained in spine. And so I was sending folks to Los Angeles to a doctor who I trust to do stem cells. And I’m like, well, why are my patients going to LA when I can bring him to you? That’s right. So I’m creating a spinal center where you don’t have to go to LA. Dr. Laurier is coming to you. And I have another friend who’s a spine expert from Houston who said, I love what you’re doing. I believe in the stem cells because, let’s face it, you either get cortisone or you get hacked on.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, and both are bad for you. The cortisone destroys the joints around the areas, which I’ve had happen. And once they hack you up, there’s no going back, and you’re still going to be in pain.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yep, yep.
SPEAKER 11 :
The doc and the insurance company, it’s hundreds of thousands of dollars to cut you open, bolt you up, and – Send you on your way to a life that is worse off than before they cut you in the first place.
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s exactly right. So we have that coming. We have the shift wave. You’re right. It’s that chair that deals with frequencies, and we’ve already talked about frequencies, to upregulate your parasympathetic nervous system, downregulate the sympathetic nervous system, and help you… get better tone in your body. So that’s just a few of the modalities. There’s other crates that now I can hear the music, so unfortunately I have to shut up. But it’s so exciting being in our shoes where we’re at and growing for our patients because these things are not going to hurt you and definitely can help you. It’s cutting edge.
SPEAKER 11 :
I look forward to talking about several of them and how they affect the immune system here shortly.
SPEAKER 06 :
Absolutely. So you’re listening to Dr. Scott Faulkner with Jeremy Sova, special guest John Arlotti. We’re about to take a break for the top of the hour. We’ll be back shortly. 560-KLZ.
