Before we go on, has any election in the last hundred years meant more for the cause of freedom, individual freedom? I’m not talking freedom of one group or another group. I’m talking individual freedom across the country. Has any election meant more toward that than the one we just had? No.

So real, in fact, that there’s a character, there’s a person within the show, Generation Kill, who is described as so handsome and so capable and the coolest dude that they couldn’t get an actor to play him and just brought in the real person to play himself in the show. Wow.

Yes. She just loves that. Two great ones. And then my two favorites are both also black and white and is Battlegrounds from 1949. Okay. And… The battle, the longest day. Oh, the longest day, yeah. Longest day. Here’s my question, Andy. Go. Do you get excited watching 12 O’Clock High because it’s the only Air Force war movie?

No. I was a pencil pusher in the Air Force. There were those who considered dropping me instead of bombs. Because I was annoying. I brought it up.

I saw it so long ago. I can’t remember. I’m sure it was very good. It’s obviously one of the all-time classics, but it’s one that I saw like, golly, a quarter of a century ago. So I don’t know. I assume your opinion is very high of it.

Well, it’s a very well-done movie. Last thing on the thing you said about presidential elections. I don’t know. You’re old enough to remember Reagan 80. Remember what that did for us. Yes.

And Carter. Well, that turned around a country. It did. But the one difference is this. The country had not become anywhere near as anti-freedom as it had under Carter, as it had under Biden. We had entered a whole new age of anti-freedom. So. All right, John. Thank you so much, sir.

I love Bill Paxton. It’s a fantastic miniseries. I think you can see it on Netflix. It’s 100% true to fact. And, of course, during this movie, the Alamo falls during the movie. They get word from a messenger that the Alamo has fallen. Everybody’s been killed. Right. And, of course, at the time, most people don’t know this, Jackson was president and he couldn’t help Texas. due to some treaty they had with Mexico over the Louisiana purchase or something. So he couldn’t render any aid to Texas. So Texas was basically on its own, just the citizen army of Texas fighting the might of Santa Ana’s army.
