So how’d they come up with Foo Fighters instead of, say, Foo Conquerors? I don’t know.

Well, I guess they were fighting a bunch of Foo. Or the Foo Foos. Maybe they fought them.

The original lead guitarist for Fleetwood Mac was a guy named Peter Green, and he went off somewhere, you know, eating mushrooms. Well, they needed to replace Peter Green. So I went looking for a new lead guitarist, and they found this guy named Lindsey Buckingham. So they approached him. You want to join our group? You’re a lead guitarist. Now, he was part of a duet called Buckingham, Nixie, and Stevie Nicks. And he said, well, I’m part of a duet. If you want me, you’ve got to take her, too. And they said, okay, we’ll give her a tambourine or something. We’ll make a hole for her in the group. So that’s how they got Stevie Nicks as part of Fleetwood Mac.
