In this episode of Rush to Reason, host John Rush is joined by special guest Gol Rav Lol, who steps in to discuss a revolutionary gaming app designed to offer children a safe and different gaming experience. Discover how TruPlay is combatting rising issues among youth such as depression, predation, and declining belief statistics with faith-driven content and no in-app purchases or advertisements.
SPEAKER 18 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 07 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 18 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 14 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did! Get a job, Turk! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference!
SPEAKER 17 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know, you can’t explain. But you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 12 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 03 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush, presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 19 :
All right, we are back. Hour number two, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Special guest joining us now, and I appreciate you filling in for Brent. And make sure I get your name right, Gol Rav Lol. Did I say that right? And that is almost correct, yes.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 19 :
Oh, thank you. You’re filling in for Brent, who couldn’t join us at last minute. Trueplay, which is the company that you guys are from, you are head of partnerships. And I didn’t really promo this to many people, but for those of you listening, This is a way to have your kids, make sure I say this right, have your kids have a different gaming experience than probably they’ve been used to. Am I saying that correctly?
SPEAKER 09 :
That would be accurate, yes. John, it’s predominantly a gaming app. We also have aspects around animated shorts and live-action comics, digital comics for children from the ages of 4 to 12, predominantly with the thought that our children are in crisis There’s all-time highs of child depression and suicide, unprecedented child trafficking and predation, grooming. And we also find there’s a lot of teen brain damage from drug use and other aspects that belief in God coming down to just 31%, and we wanted to address that problem.
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, A, thank you for doing so. I talk about these things periodically on our program, and I… I’m 60, and I will be the first to admit that even when I was younger and a lot of my friends were doing arcade games and all that kind of stuff, I was a car guy, Golrov. I just never got into doing a lot of the things gaming-wise. I’m not a gamer. I’m not very good at them at all. So I’m a little bit out of the loop, I guess you could say. Now, I will say this. I raised a bunch of kids. They played limited games. games because of us watching what they were doing and what games they could play and not play and so on, which, frankly, I think a lot of parents need to be a little bit more involved in. And that’s my question for you. With your app and how this works, is it something that parents can pay really, really close attention to what’s going on or walk us through how that part of it works?
SPEAKER 09 :
I think that is one of the key aspects, of course, of the game that we wanted to do something different to give parents peace of mind and an element of safety when their kids are on the app. So we have one app, but multiple faith bundling and building games within the app. And uh parents can of course once they they can be rest assured once the kid is on the platform with multiple games on it there are no in-app purchases that they might end up doing and racking up the credit card bill there are no in-app advertisements that can come up which is also essential because you can’t control those and sometimes very um uh inappropriate ads can come up and expose uh you know children can be exposed to that so that’s the other path aspect we don’t allow and we do not allow for chat rooms so other um people to reach out and and pretend to be children and groom your kids so so we prevent those aspects so in that realm we really safeguarded it and made it a very um Okay.
SPEAKER 19 :
And I didn’t realize this until talking to my son the other day, he’s 33 now. And so his kids are getting to the age where they play some games again, limited and all of that. And I was not, I should have known this because I’m pretty technical with most everything else that’s out there. And, in life as far as all of the other things that we use daily to do things in business and so on. So I should have known this. There’s really not any game discs or anything along those lines anymore. Everything now is downloadable and or is quote unquote app driven. Am I correct in saying that?
SPEAKER 09 :
That is correct. And most games are in that crowd, I think. A lot of it has to do with mobile gaming. I think the United States, you know, about 55% or maybe more now is mobile gaming. But in emerging markets and the emerging economies, close to 90% is on mobile phones. So we let people play games also predominantly are based on I’m losing you, too.
SPEAKER 19 :
I hate to say that, but on cell phone. Unfortunately, sometimes technology is not our best friend, and I lost you on that last little section there.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yes, yes. It’s close to about 90% of the emerging world. For that reason, we are predominantly on Apple and Android devices.
SPEAKER 19 :
Okay, got it. Okay, so just so I can understand this, is your app like an overlay or like a web filter that a lot of folks I know use when it comes to browsing and so on? Am I thinking, as far as the role is concerned, am I thinking about that correctly?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, it could be. It’s an app on the phone, so we don’t have a web app. We don’t use it on desktops. It’s iPads, iPhones, Android phones predominantly.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay, gotcha.
SPEAKER 09 :
We don’t have the Amazon 5 apps. We don’t have it there. But all the other major phones and iPads we have on those stuff.
SPEAKER 19 :
And it’s trueplaygames.com is the website, and it’s T-R-U. There’s no E in it, so T-R-U, playgames.com. Those of you that are listening, you can go check it out. Again, this is something that I think my own advice would be, if you’ve got any young person at all in your family that are into gaming, I would go look at this.
SPEAKER 1 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 09 :
Thank you very much. Yes, absolutely. Okay. And we appreciate the time you’ve given us, John, and really hope people will go and locate the website, crewplaygames.com, and find us there and buy some for their children or their grandchildren on Easter.
SPEAKER 19 :
Makes sense. I will do that, and we will get that link up in our show notes later tonight. Golrov, thank you very much. I appreciate it very much. And again, it’s truplay.com. And, again, if you guys are listening, have kids, grandkids, anybody along those lines, I would highly recommend go check this out. I’ll be straight up honest. I have not kept up on the video game end of things. I mean, when I had kids at home, which, keep in mind, my youngest, who you guys hear from time to time, Richard, is 33 now. And he left home when he was 18. So honestly, I haven’t been around the gaming end of things for quite some time and have never been a gamer myself, so it’s just not something that I am. I’m up on a lot of other technology-driven things, as you all know. Video games are not one of my proficiencies, let’s just say it that way. Affordable Interest Mortgage is next. All right, American Stonehenge by Mike Goldstein. I saw Mike, by the way. He was here at the station a little earlier before I came on air, and he has a great, huge passion to teach young people how to read. And by the way, we have that same passion. So if you’d like to teach young people how to read or help in teaching them how to read, I should say, great tool. American Stonehenge by Mike Goldstein, gmailandrew.com, and it’s code KLZ to get you 10% off.
SPEAKER 16 :
Only 31% of eighth graders can read proficiently.
SPEAKER 1 :
31%.
SPEAKER 16 :
This is Mike Goldstein, and I wrote American Stonehenge, The Adventures of Jimmy and Andrew, specifically to help fix our children’s illiteracy problem. Reading is a key to critical thinking, and it opens doors for kids as they grow. Reading helps us to figure out the world, to learn new things, and to experience life to its fullest. American Stonehenge has some bigger words, but your child or grandchild will expand their vocabulary. Unlike many other books, American Stonehenge doesn’t talk down to kids. It asks them to continue learning. But it’s more than just big words. It’s a carefully crafted journey, along with history, into a land of imagination. Find out what others are saying about my book by going to klzradio.com slash read, where you’ll find a sample and see reviews from people all over the world. And for a limited time, we’re giving 10% off to KLZ listeners. Just use the promo code KLZ.

SPEAKER 11 :
Putting reason into your afternoon drive, this is John Rush.
SPEAKER 19 :
All right, and yes, and somebody texted a moment ago and asked if I had heard about the helicopter crash with the four people on board, I believe Hudson River. They were doing some, I think, search and rescue right before I came on air, and that’s about all I know. I did not have time to really… delve into that particular accident, what all happened. I will do that later tonight or first thing in the morning, and I’m sure we’ll learn more as time goes by. But thank you for that. Yes, I looked at that right before coming on air, but outside of that, no, I did not have a lot of time to check into that. Okay. This is something that… It is news. Now… You think about this and think, okay, all the problems in the world and all the things that are going on, and there’s starving children here and needy people there, and we’ve got people that are still reeling in from hurricanes and things that happened over this last year in North Carolina and other parts of the country. And I’m in agreement with President Trump here. And my point is, why did we ever go down this path in the first place? And that is President Trump signing an executive order to make showers great again. In other words, getting rid of reversing the Biden era rule that limited the amount of water that can flow through a showerhead. One more way for government to intrude on your life that they never should have been doing to begin with. And before I get all the hate text messages from people that, you know, it’s right. It’s how you get people to save and it’s how you get them. No, it isn’t. No, it’s not. It is simply government overreach telling you what you can and can’t do. And my thought on it is if I want to go outside and turn the garden hose on full blast and take a shower in cold water, that is my prerogative. On the same token, if I want to go inside and have the same type of pressure coming out of the showerhead itself, and I want to stand in there for a half hour, that is my prerogative. It is Uncle Sam’s, it is none of Uncle Sam’s business, or anybody else’s for that matter. I’m paying for it. I’m paying for the cost to heat the water, and I’m paying for the water itself. And by the way, all of that water is being recycled. So who cares? Who cares? At the end of the day, what does it matter? And as you guys can tell, this stuff chaps my hide. Why Trump has to even go back in and reverse something along those lines is absolutely ridiculous. Literally ridiculous. Why is government… even messing with this in the first place. And literally, I’m asking. I would love to get your commentary on this, your comments on this. We don’t have any other guests until the end of the hour. 303-477-5600. And this is another area where the last presidency, but this has been going on, by the way, for a while. Even under Obama, we were doing stupid things along these lines. Low-flow showerheads. By the way, we do the same thing with toilets and sinks. And here’s my feeling on that. If, as a customer, you want to buy a low-flow showerhead, and you’ve got the racks in front of you, the pegboard or whatever, and you’ve got all these choices of showerheads, and one is five gallons a minute, and one is a gallon and a half a minute, you buy whatever you want to. I don’t think government should be dictating to any of those showerhead manufacturers as to what they can or cannot make. If you want to buy, again, the low flow, and you feel like, hey, I can help planet Earth and save some money at the same time, then be my guest. On the same token, if you’re a guy like me that takes all those stupid restrictors out anyways, first thing I do… I go get the needle nose pliers and I yank them all out because I can’t stand those stupid things. So if you’re like me and you want to buy a five gallon a minute shower head, you should be able to do the same thing without modifying it, by the way. And that’s your choice. And yes, I’m that guy. I hate low flow anything. They don’t wash. I mean, you end up using twice as much in a low flow toilet, in my opinion. And I talk to any plumber out there, by the way, they’ll agree with me. You’re not saving any money with a low flow toilet or any water for that matter. I know they tell you that, you know, the one and a half gallon, you know, toilet saves X amount, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Does it really? Does it really? Because there’s a lot of cases. Thank you, Charlie. There’s a lot of times you’re flushing it two or three times, depending upon how low a flow toilet really is. That the toilet thing I could even get into for a whole segment on its own. I mean, they have ruined, and I’m not exaggerating, literally they’ve ruined toilets. You can’t hardly find a toilet anymore that flushes correctly without going to a full-bore commercial toilet where you flush it and you’re worried your leg might get stuck in it and suck you all the way in. I mean, isn’t it ironic? We go from literally the residential toilet that you’re lucky to have anything flushed And yet you can go to the commercial building down the street or where you work and just the opposite is true. Again, who set those rules? And why is that fair that the commercial guy can have a high-flow toilet, one that literally will suck your arm in, versus the one at home you’re lucky to flush anything? This is why government shouldn’t be involved in anything along these lines whatsoever. None. Zero. Some of you are going to argue with me and say, well, government has a place. Not in this area, they don’t. No, they don’t. Now, should government be there to make sure that we’re safe? Yes. Yes. And in a lot of ways, they overreach in that area as well. But yes, I think they should be there to keep us safe to an extent. Now, during COVID, that went to an extreme. People literally gave up freedoms for safety. That’s not the proper role of government. Never the proper role of government, by the way. So, yeah, I’m one where you can take every one of these low-flow whatever and literally go throw them in a dumpster and go buy something that actually works. I wish, literally, we could get back to the point where I could even buy a high-flow toilet. Because, again, the low-flow toilets are awful. But those are things that have been mandated. All of this, quote-unquote, water conservation, which, by the way, is nonsense. Utter nonsense. But yet, that’s what we’re dealt. That’s what we live with. Ben, you’re next. Go ahead.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, John, I heard you say that those showerheads chap your hide.
SPEAKER 19 :
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
I just thought that was funny. You got a laugh out of me.
SPEAKER 19 :
Those things drive, and my gallonage, by the way, wasn’t too far off. The Trump order reverses the two and a half gallon a minute ruling that was there prior.
SPEAKER 1 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 19 :
You know, think about that for a second, Ben. So a gallon of milk, so take two of those, and now it’s going to take an entire minute to fill that up. That’s not much water coming out, by the way.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. Well, you know, it’s a hygiene thing. Yep. And, you know, actually, I… I do go with those things, but they get gummed up because I’m on a well.
SPEAKER 19 :
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
And it gets minerals.
SPEAKER 19 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
But I just throw them away because these people give them away like, oh, don’t you want a low-flow showerhead? And I’m like, yeah, it’ll save me three bucks or five at Home Depot, sure. Yeah, why not? Put that other one in the scrap metal pile. Right. Yeah, why not? Yeah, some of this stuff is such junk. And I like stuff.
SPEAKER 19 :
probably like you that works yep works well yep and keeps working yep forget this like replace it every year and a half that’s just stupid ben i and and that but thank you by the way for saying that because you know you get into this whole well you know epa said that low flow showerheads can save about 2700 gallons of water or 75 annually for the average family and again by the way I don’t know how they figure that because I’ve never had anybody ask me how long I take in a shower or how many gallons I’m using. So all of these are guesstimates, by the way, at best. But then you’ve got to ask the question, if they do what you’re saying and you’re replacing them ever so often, how is that earth-friendly?
SPEAKER 08 :
Oh, yeah. I know. It’s a balance of, you know, the ways to – make one and ship it and put it on the shelf. Right.
SPEAKER 19 :
The packaging, all of that, Ben. Transportation costs, all of it.
SPEAKER 08 :
I used to work in an old Denver school building that was privatized. And we had plumbing that was built when it was built. And every now and then, and guys use that thing all day long. The sinks, the toilet, and Every now and then, a little rubber washer would go out. We had this kit. We’d put one in. But, you know, some of it’s guys like Home Depot selling you, in my opinion, on junk that you don’t need. So you can, oh, honey, doesn’t this look cool? It’s all guys. It’s the woman trying to, like, have her way in the kitchen, in the bathroom. But anyway, I wanted to clarify something. When I called the other day, Andy Pate was saying that he’s not big on alcohol and that it should be for food only. Well, I think there are some facts that he’s unaware of.
SPEAKER 19 :
And I don’t remember, what exactly were we referring? Oh, was that for SNAP, Ben? Was that what he was talking about, food stamps?
SPEAKER 08 :
No, it was… ethanol for gasoline.
SPEAKER 19 :
Oh, gotcha, gotcha, gotcha, gotcha.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. And so he doesn’t like that.
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, what I don’t like about it is… He doesn’t like the ethanol for fuel, just so everybody’s, you know, clarify that for everybody else. He doesn’t like the fact that farmers are being paid to grow corn to make ethanol that we then add to the fuel to then meet some quota that the EPA has when it comes to ethanol use in gasoline.
SPEAKER 08 :
So where I disagree with that is when you make ethanol, there’s three parts to the corn, fat, protein, and carbohydrates. The only part of the cycle that you can use to make alcohol is the carbohydrate. And then you have the mash or the byproduct left over. And it’s easier for cows to digest. And they cannot digest the carbohydrate anyway. Got it. So it’s going to be manure. And then the cow fattens up, all things being equal, slightly easier and quicker on the corn mash. And then the other thing is, I’m not sure about the subsidies. that the alcohol producers get. I’ve heard it’s a lot per gallon.
SPEAKER 19 :
It’s quite a bit, yeah. And I have not checked lately, but yes, there was a time it was huge. I don’t know what it is today, but it’s been big for a long time, Ben.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, just using the raw materials, you can make ethanol all day long for about $1.25 to $1.50 per gallon. Okay. And also… There’s cars out there that will run on all alcohol. And, of course, you’ve got that, I think it’s E35 or whatever.
SPEAKER 19 :
E85, but not as many of those cars running around as there used to be. At one time, that was pretty popular. The manufacturers were making, you know, quote-unquote dual-fuel vehicles where you could run ethanol, you know, E85 or E10 or E15 or whatever. Not as many of those now made as there used to be, Ben. Agreed. and chrysler was doing them and i think gm was too ford was too okay yeah yeah now really quick one thing i want to throw at you because i think this is interesting that you’re tying this in with what i was just talking a minute ago about the whole water and low flow this and all of that and yet you and i both know the amount of water used to make ethanol is huge so the very same people that are wanting us to use low-flow showerheads, toilets, and so on, have no problem with the millions of gallons that you use to produce ethanol?
SPEAKER 08 :
Oh, yeah. I know. They have no idea what they’re saying yes or no.
SPEAKER 19 :
No, they do not. They do not. You’re 100% correct.
SPEAKER 08 :
They’re low information. Somebody put something in front of them. And they’re like, oh, that must be right. And it fits this green agenda. Yes. And the way I see it, a lot of that green is the new red. And the fact that we had to go all the way to the top of the White House to fix a plumbing fixture. Exactly. Exactly. I’m glad Trump has the common sense to do it. And the guy is smarter. He is the smartest guy in the room. And for him, it was relatively easy. Right. Why did it take him to figure this out? And there’s other issues like that that come up.
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, you know my thoughts on that, Ben, and I talk about this all the time, because typically speaking, not all, and I’m not making a blanket statement, but by and large, most politicians and people in government, I’m sorry to say, again, not all, but the majority, in my opinion, Ben, are not very bright people.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. Or they may be bright and cunning.
SPEAKER 19 :
Well, that’s different. Cunning isn’t the same as bright.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, one way, fair enough. But one way or another, they figured out their way between Congress, regulators. Yep. false federal judges and probably state judges as well. They figured out a way to lie, cheat, and steal billions of dollars. And Musk, God bless him and his team, they’re uncovering a lot of that. And God only knows. I’ll bet you that whatever they’ve uncovered so far, I don’t know if it’s the tip of the iceberg.
SPEAKER 19 :
But I’m sure they’re not even a third of the way done. I think it’s the tip of the iceberg, Ben. I think there’s so much more that they’re going to delve into and uncover. And, you know, people are out there saying, well, Trump’s, you know, Musk is going to be leaving on day one, whatever, 135. Well, that’s because as a volunteer government worker not being paid, he doesn’t have any choice but to leave then. He could come back down the road if he wants to, but he’ll have to leave for a period of time because he, like me, or you, Ben, even— I don’t want to be a government worker.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. Well, I worked for the state for a while and for the feds, and they just sort of sucked the life out of you.
SPEAKER 19 :
Yeah, thank you. I’ve had others tell me the same thing, Ben. You’re not the only one that’s ever told me that.
SPEAKER 08 :
You’re just part of this treadmill. And it was a good life. I did it for about a year and a half. It was kind of a gap year, if you will. Okay. If you don’t want to do much work,
SPEAKER 19 :
Go do that?
SPEAKER 08 :
No, I didn’t. Yeah. Interesting. You know.
SPEAKER 19 :
Interesting.
SPEAKER 08 :
And I will say this. Overall, the federal government, they treated me okay. I was just, you know, a guard. And what was weird is I had five different people that I had to be accountable to. There was a GSA guy, a direct supervisor, the federal police. The marshals and the building manager. And I’m like, five of you? Look, get together and give me a list.
SPEAKER 19 :
Yeah, there you go. Yeah. Consolidate this. Yes, yes, yes. Absolutely. Absolutely.
SPEAKER 08 :
And, you know, but they needed, in this case, what they used to do, because this was during around 2000, they were leaving the borders open then. Yeah. And, for example, in one facility, they had all these – well, they were Mexican guys working, doing construction. And, you know, some of the guards said something. Finally, they got them out of there. And then they had, you know, street people that would wander in a couple of buildings in particular during the day. And, you know, they needed a little confrontation. Hey, who are you here to see? We need for you to sign in. We need an ID. We need a pass. You can’t just hang out and smoke cigarettes or whatever. But, you know, and also against maybe other would-be bad guys. So it was kind of a, you know, for tax dollars, it wasn’t too big of a waste. But at the end of the day, I’m with Trump. Cut that stuff back, back, back. Yep. Just like you’re going through a forest. Yep. Keep the chainsaw running.
SPEAKER 19 :
Absolutely.
SPEAKER 08 :
Keep it sharp. And, you know, all these people, look, they were looking for a job when they got there. And there’s probably some good people that are going to get thrown to the side. But so what? Good people get thrown to the side sometimes. All day long. That’s right. That’s right. And they get paid more. That’s right. So if they’ve been saving their nickels and dollars, you know, go find another job. Thanks for your services. Yep. You’re no longer required. Go with God. But go.
SPEAKER 19 :
Yep. Yep. Godspeed. Ben, I’ll let you go with that. Perfect. I appreciate it very much. We have Golden Eagle Financial coming up next. Speaking of finances and all of that, talk to Al Smith today. Find out what he can do for you and your financial future today. KLZradio.com is where you find him.

SPEAKER 19 :
All right. Some of you probably noticed I haven’t talked about it much. I may get to this in the next segment if I have time. But you probably have noticed where Jenna Griswold has thrown her hat in the ring, I guess you could say. I mean, she will probably be the shoe in on the Democrat side for attorney general. She is currently the Secretary of State. Now, I would have to go back and see what her experience as Attorney General would be, although in her defense, can’t be any worse than the guy we’ve got right now because he’s never defended a case in court ever, ever. He is an attorney, but he’s never been to trial. Everything Phil Weiser ever did was outside of that. So I’m not sure she ever has been either, but we have a current attorney general that hasn’t been either and continues. There’s an article this week in Fox 31 here locally that our current attorney general, Phil Weiser, is defending filing dozens of cases against the Trump administration. So Attorney General Phil Weiser announced new legal efforts against the Trump administration on Monday saying, leading to Colorado now having enjoined or led 25 legal actions against the Trump administration. Weiser told Fox 31 that he intends to continue filing lawsuits whenever he, key word here, he sees the federal government violate the law in any way that harms Colorado. Now, that’s a key statement, by the way. By the way, what I’m getting at here is it’s his interpretation, his definition. He goes on to say, in every single one of these cases, I ask, did the federal government just violate the law in any way that harms Colorado? And every time the answer is yes and yes, Weiser said. It’s unfortunate and unprecedented to have a federal government acting with such disregard of the rule of law. Again, this is the opinion of, in my opinion, an inexperienced Democrat, agey, who is ours here in Colorado, that essentially won that election because of George Soros, and I’m not exaggerating in saying that. That’s why he’s AG. Well, let me go one step further. And the fact that we don’t run very good candidates on our side. I’ll just throw that in there while we’re at it. We don’t run very good candidates on our side. So, again, this is his interpretation of the law. This is him saying that the federal government is somehow violating things happening in Colorado. And this goes down, keep in mind, this is things like birthright citizenship. Which will end up going to the Supreme Court. So Phil thinks it’s one way. I and Trump and others think it’s another way. And the Supreme Court at the end of the day will decide. I don’t think somebody being born here gives them the right to be a citizen. If their parents are not citizens already, is my point. Just because you’re born here. with illegal parents doesn’t mean you’re a citizen. No different than if I were traveling, excuse me, if I were traveling abroad and I had been born in Germany. By chance, which this is a whole other discussion I could get into for a long time, they’re called anchor babies. A lot of people come here, ladies, families come here purposely to have their baby born in the United States of America, knowing they will be an American citizen because of what I’m talking about. And they will do these things on purpose. There’s actually an entire cottage industry made for these particular individuals and having them come here. And I’m not exaggerating in that in the least. There are businesses out there that will cater to these people. allowing them to come to the country, setting them up in a hotel, getting them all dialed in on the delivery, you name it. Yes, that is a true statement. I’m not exaggerating or lying. It’s not a conspiracy. That happens. So my point is, for Phil Weiser to come out and say that that’s illegal, what Trump is doing in regards to birthright citizenship, that’s his opinion. That’s his opinion. That has not been settled yet by the Supreme Court. And I could go through some other things that we as a state are now involved in. And the bottom line is that Phil’s mad because a lot of the Democrat agenda is being thwarted by Donald Trump, and he’s mad. That’s really what this boils down to. including, we were talking to Ben a moment ago, Elon Musk coming in with Doge, cutting some of the funding, you know, whatever it happens to be. We’ve seen some things even in our state where funding for certain things, research and development and so on, has been cut by the feds, which, by the way, I’m fine with. Even though it’s in our own state, I’m fine with that. Why? Because we don’t have the money. Guys like Phil, which, by the way, Phil doesn’t care. Phil’s a Marxist. He doesn’t care. I care that we’re $36.5 trillion in debt, and this money that gets earmarked for some of these things that’s out there, research, development, colleges, and so on, it’s money we’re borrowing. We don’t have the money. And I don’t know why even we as conservatives don’t talk about that more than we do. In other words, even the guys on Capitol Hill, even the folks that we elect that go to Washington and represent us, why they don’t talk the way i am that listen guys these are borrowed dollars yes there is a certain amount of revenue that we as a country generate but our debt load alone is enormous it’s trillions of dollars and the reality is we can’t continue to go down that path so when doge talks about cutting things keep in mind this is like the family that’s overspending that’s literally already bankrupt they just don’t know it they just haven’t filed yet but they’re still spending like drunken sailors you know that as i said before this is like the family on the block that has every new car they’ve got all the fancy atvs and boats and crap that are in the garage they’ve got toys galore you know they they’ve got the fanciest house on the block They go to all the fancy destinations and vacations. They throw the biggest parties. They have the biggest weddings for their kids. I can go down the list. You know where I’m going with this. And all the while, can’t make their budget. Don’t have enough income coming in to cover all of that. That’s what we are as a country. And then you’ve got folks like Democrats, Phil, running around whining because things get cut, and he says that’s illegal. That’s against the law. Again, these are matters of opinion. Phil doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and I will call him out on that. He’s wrong. No, I’m not an attorney. Yes, he claims to be one. But once again, Phil’s never tried a case. Not in his entire career. And somehow ends up being Attorney General in Colorado. By the way, overseeing all other attorneys. That’s what the Attorney General does, basically. And he’s now going to run for governor. Thank you, Charlie. And my whole point, if this was Jenna Griswold now, she is going to step in and take over for Phil. And she’s just as bad, by the way, if not, I mean, on a scale of who’s dumber. Yeah, I’m saying it this way. On a scale of who’s dumber, her or him, I’ll have to say that she is. She is. And no, I’m not saying that because she’s a woman. She’s just dumber. She is not a very intelligent woman. She just isn’t. You can look at some of the things that she’s even done as secretary of state. She’s just not that bright. So, all right, we’ll take a break. We’ll come back. Somebody also texted and says, me and John, you still don’t sound very good today. How are you feeling? Does your does your throat hurt? All of that? No, actually, my throat doesn’t hurt. It’s just. With a sinus infection and the drainage and the stuff that goes on and so on, any of you that have had any of those, and I have fought these literally almost my entire teenage and adult life. I get one bad one every single stinking year, and I don’t know why. It’s just the way things are. And I screwed up. I thought I had it really under control and was doing really well, and then it came back with a vengeance. And, yes, I finally called Dr. Scott, and he was a huge help last night. And, yes, I’m back on track today. But, yeah, actually, I feel fine. I don’t feel bad in the least. My voice sounds awful, I know, but, no, I feel fine. My throat’s not sore, nothing. I actually feel very well. So thank you, by the way, for asking. Paul Leuenberger coming up next. He is my insurance agent, wants to show you how to save money on your insurance. SPEAKER 19 :
All right, we are back. About a minute left of this hour is all. Thank you, by the way, for the second hour for listening. Really quick question of the day, which I want to make sure I get in. Yesterday, what is the term for particles that mediate the fundamental forces in quantum field theory? It’s bosons, bosons, B-O-S-O-N-S. Charlie thinks it’s Bosun’s. Okay, there is your answer. Today’s impossible question of the day. Which empire was ruled by Suleiman the Magnificent? You know that one by chance, Charlie? No, Suleiman. S-U-L-E-M-A-N. Suleiman, am I saying that right? No, it’s not Superman. The Magnificent, not Superman. No. Anyways, you guys can answer that on the Facebook page. I would not know the answer to either one of those, period, way outside of my IQ and probably because of fluoride in the water I grew up with as we were talking to Kelly and Steve about earlier. All right, we’ll be back another hour coming your way. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560.
