Okay, we’re trying to get our guests, but before we do that, I’ve got a text message that came in today, which I thought would fit in perfectly with even our last topic we were talking about. In fact, if we do get our guests, we’re going to put him off for a segment because this fits in perfectly with what we were talking about. So let me read you the text message. Hi, John. Wanted to get you and Andy’s opinion or take on a subgroup on the right involving younger, mostly single men who seem to be swinging to a more sexist, chauvinistic worldview. I’m a mom in my mid-30s, and I was recently trying to give some dating advice to a family friend who is a single male in his 30s, but he seemed to want to debate with me rather than take any advice. He comes across as desperate to find a partner and often references Jordan Peterson and and his focus on marriage and family, which, by the way, Jordan’s very solid in these areas. These are my words, not hers. But our friend is taking it to an extreme, which, by the way, everything can be, and that’s the wrong way to do it. He texted me the following, quote, If someone ends up alone without anyone caring for them, then that inherently defines someone as worthless, useless, and just a waste of space. To end up alone means you mattered to no one. He describes potential dates as not spring chickens anymore, and it sounds like his stance is that women are worthless unless they procreate. I am grieved that our society doesn’t value the nuclear family, and I believe marriage and children are blessings from God. By the way, Andy and I do as well. But it was distressing to see our friends swing to such a radical worldview. I’d love to hear your and Andy’s thoughts on this. Thank you so much. By the way, dovetailed perfectly into what we were just talking about in that last hour, because first of all, I can tell you straight up, and I can speak for Andy in this one, we don’t look at things the way this young man is looking at things at all. He is looking at things completely backwards. Yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
First of all, you don’t… Look, let me say a couple things. First of all, his way of looking at, you know, I’m not complete unless I have somebody in my life. If I don’t have somebody in my life, then I am worthless. I’m not worth anything to anyone. That can be both men and women feel that way. That part is equal. And I think that they’re both wrong. I’ve always told young people when they talk about, you know, they’re going to date and whatever, I say, great, wonderful. Well, how do I know if she’s the one? Don’t worry about that.
SPEAKER 14 :
You’ll figure that out as time goes by.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. Worry about this. Are you the one? And they’re like, what do you mean? I say, look, if you can’t find fulfillment in yourself, just you and God. then you are going to look to that person to be your joy supplier. You’re going to look to that person to be your happiness, your purpose supplier. Guess what? That’s not their job. God didn’t make them to be your purpose supplier.
SPEAKER 14 :
Nope, they did not.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay. And if I were to put my wife under that kind of strain to where every day she would have to provide my purpose, my joy and all this and complete me and make me feel needed. I mean, that’s ridiculous. What she needs, my wife needs somebody who is complete on their own and she is complete on her own.
SPEAKER 14 :
And by the way, she is compliment one another. And then we compliment, which is what our last guest was really talking about. That’s exactly down the path that she was headed.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right. What he was describing was the foundation of codependency. In other words, neither of us is complete, therefore we have to complete each other. No, no, no, no, no. Both of you be complete on your own. That way you don’t put the other person under the pressure of completing you. No human should have to do that.
SPEAKER 14 :
Only God. If you’re looking at life that way, you are always, Andy, going to be disappointed. Yes. Because that person will never be able to meet the expectations you have for them. Right.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right, and you’re not letting them be something that they’ve been ever since Adam and Eve, and that’s a sinner.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay, they’re going to have their down days is what I’m saying.
SPEAKER 07 :
And so are you, by the way.
SPEAKER 08 :
And so are you. Okay, you’re going to have your down days where it’s going to be a lot harder for her to complete you. You know, I remember Jerry Maguire, you know, you complete me. Yeah. That was cute, and it was a nice moment. Hey, it’s a good movie.
SPEAKER 07 :
Why not?
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. But you really don’t want that. Not only are you going to have your down days when you’re putting too much pressure on her to complete too much. Your glass is way too empty that day. You’re asking too much of her to pour into it. But also, she’s going to have her down days when she’s going to let you down and not… You know, and honey, I made this speech. Why didn’t you respond to it as well as I did? I really needed this, you know, because I’m nervous, whatever. Right. Because we guys are purpose driven and you’ve got to make me feel good in my purpose. OK. And I got to make her feel good in her presence. Look, guys, I do hope that we are always very complimentary to our spouses. Corey and I are. but don’t need it. You should only be looking to one source for your value, and that is God.
SPEAKER 14 :
Very true. Very true. And I talked a little bit about this yesterday in regards to, you know, death and the afterlife and things along those lines. It’s partially why, you know, a lot of people talking about they could feel Demarius Thomas in the stadium on Sunday. Yeah, no, you didn’t. That’s just your figment of your imagination, because let me tell you what, I can guarantee you he wasn’t there.
SPEAKER 06 :
Right.
SPEAKER 14 :
Not a snowball’s chance. Was not there. Anybody saying that, you are a, I’m sorry, you might be thinking that, you might be feeling a certain way, and maybe that’s a feel-good measure on your part, but I can tell you 1,000% he wasn’t there. His spirit wasn’t there. Anybody that says that’s a knucklehead.
SPEAKER 07 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 14 :
I’m sorry, because it doesn’t happen that way. It doesn’t work that way. And partially, and this goes to what Andy’s saying, I believe partially that it doesn’t work that way because God wants to be the only person meeting your needs, not some dead person.

Yeah.
SPEAKER 14 :
Meaning those family members that have even gone on, don’t live your life for them, live your life for God, because those family members don’t know what you’re doing anyways.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, John.

Nor do they care.

One day you’re going to die, do you want your son still living for the memory of John Rush?

No, I want him living for him, not me.

There you go. You know, what does she say here really quick here, going back to the text? Mostly single men who seem to be swinging to a more sexist, chauvinist worldview. I’m not totally sure what that means.

I know what she means by that. I absolutely know what she means by that.

Because we’re seeing this even in—and I wasn’t going to talk about this, but this is a great example. There was a— A recently down in Texas, there was a string of text messages. Don’t know if all of them are true or not. None of it’s been proven whether they were or won’t. But there were some leaders of the young Republican Party down in Texas where there was a lot of of things that were going back and forth in text messages that, quite frankly, shouldn’t have been shouldn’t have been there. I mean, these guys were talking about very racist, sexist things.
SPEAKER 08 :
Oh, are you talking about that big?
SPEAKER 14 :
OK, yeah, go ahead. And a great example of where a lot of these young men are way off on the wrong track. And I don’t know how they’ve gotten on that track because it’s not what we as a party even believe in at all. No, not at all. Trump believes in. So I don’t know where these guys are going, but she is correct. A lot of these younger men especially are moving in that direction. And I don’t have an answer as to why. I don’t know. Yeah, I don’t understand it either. I don’t get that part, Andy. I don’t know why they’ve moved that way. But she’s right. Somehow.
SPEAKER 08 :
Now, with a couple of them, I think they were kidding. Definitely kidding. But there were comments in that thread that were just horrible.
SPEAKER 14 :
And there’s comments in there that even if you’re kidding, you don’t say. Right. Let’s just say this. You don’t kid that way. Right. Let me say it that way. I wouldn’t. My rules are that’s not something we kid about.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, I really like what Winsome Sears said in the Virginia race. And you know what’s going on in Virginia with the AG race where the Democrat said some horrible things. He wanted people killed and kids to be killed and all this terrible stuff. And, you know, and Winsome Sears has been asking her opponent, hey, will you please call on this guy to step out of the race? Okay. Well, they pressed her about this text thread. And they said, oh, yeah, well, what do you think of that? And she was wonderful. She said, oh, that’s easy. They should all step down. Now your turn.
SPEAKER 14 :
Mm-hmm. What do you think of this? Yeah, I can’t disagree with that at all.
SPEAKER 08 :
I agree.

Back to this texter. Okay. And I think this is important. Those of you that are listening where you’ve got influence upon young men, we do here on this show. We’ve got a lot of young men because I get text messages from them that actually text into the program and so on. And I will tell you that, no, that is the wrong approach. And a lot of what we talked about in that last segment in the last hour with our guest is accurate. You know, we are to complement one another. You know, God took—this is why I’ve always explained it. God took Eve out of a rib, not out of the brain so that she could be equal to us, not out of the foot so that we could tromp over her, but out of the rib so she could be beside us and we could be partners in life. Right. That’s the meaning there.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 14 :
That simple.
SPEAKER 08 :
Look, I don’t need my wife. I don’t need anyone but Jesus. Okay, that’s the way it is. And the moment I need her, I put pressure on her to be something.
SPEAKER 14 :
That she doesn’t need.
SPEAKER 08 :
No, she doesn’t need that kind of pressure. She doesn’t need to wake up every day making, you know, having to be my value provider.
SPEAKER 14 :
Absolutely, Andy. Absolutely.

You know, and talking about, you know, young people, single men who seem to be sexist, chauvinist, I think what it really is is they’re selfish.
SPEAKER 14 :
They want their personal needs met first. Met first. Yep. Absolutely. Well, these are also individuals, and this goes both ways. It’s not just men. I’ve seen the same thing with women. They’re always looking for Mr. Right or Mrs. Right. In fact, some of them even have a checklist of things that that person has to check off. Oh, I love the checklist. Otherwise, they’re not worthy of even dating them. Oh, man, those are people that end up single their whole life because nobody meets those checklists.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah, or when they do… Guess what? They’re not that great. And then you meet a girl who doesn’t even meet half the things in your checklist. And guess what? She’s the best thing you’ve ever met.
SPEAKER 14 :
Great point. All right. Leave it at that, Andy. And again, those of you listening, that’s a deep subject. We can go into that maybe a little bit later as we go through, you know, a series of things. But remember when all of the UFOs were, you know, a big deal and everybody was trying to figure out, you know, what was the source of and, you know, all the conspiracy started in as to, you know, what they were and what was going on and so on and so forth. I didn’t talk about it a lot here on air just because, frankly, I just figured at some point in time we’d figure it out and I wasn’t too worried about it and we figured it out.
SPEAKER 08 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 14 :
It is a company that was actually doing some drone testing and so on. That’s really all it ended up being when it was all said and done. Now, why we didn’t know that more at the time and didn’t say it then, that I don’t know. But that’s the answer.
SPEAKER 08 :
That was a lot of sightings?
SPEAKER 14 :
Yes. There was just a lot of testing of drones at that time. Cool. You know, why not? So speaking at the Army’s UAS and Launched Effect System at Fort Rucker, Alabama in August, the unnamed company allegedly revealed during a panel that their manned aerial craft was to blame for the scare across New Jersey skies. So.
SPEAKER 08 :
You mean unmanned aerial craft? Both.
SPEAKER 14 :
They were both. They were manned and unmanned. And, again, they weren’t UFOs. It wasn’t anything along those lines. These were most likely, my gut feeling would be, probably very high-tech drones that were being tested at that time.
SPEAKER 08 :
So we have Russell Crowe to blame.
SPEAKER 14 :
Probably.
SPEAKER 08 :
For those who don’t know, he did a great movie about the drones.
SPEAKER 14 :
20-foot aerial drones. These things were huge. These weren’t little drones, by the way. These were fair-sized drones. So these were, and I think I even said at the time that most likely, I believe I go back and listen to my recordings, I think I at one point in time said, I wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t some sort of military testing when it’s all said and done. Why government won’t say that and come out, that I have no answers to.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, I can. What government is stupid enough to tell everybody everything they’ve got?
SPEAKER 14 :
What they’re doing? Well, that’s a good point, Andy.

Good point. Good point. No, that’s probably why. You’re exactly right. And it wasn’t a UFO. Everybody back then were talking about these things being UFOs. No, they were not UFOs.

They jumped the shark. Yeah, they have. They just have. And Candice especially, she has really jumped the shark. I mean, she is out there on a level that’s like, Candice, you’re doing this for clicks only. It’s very apparent why you’re in this.

See, what I don’t understand is this, John, and we’ve talked about this before. If aliens came here from another planet, okay, it would obviously be a planet a very, very long ways away, correct?
SPEAKER 14 :
You think it has to be. I think we’ve determined there’s nothing nearby.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right, which means that the technology they would have to come this entire, to traverse this entire distance and come here would be unbelievably beyond our understanding, correct?
SPEAKER 1 :
Correct.
SPEAKER 08 :
So why would we ever catch them?
SPEAKER 14 :
We wouldn’t.
SPEAKER 08 :
I mean, our ability to read the skies and, you know, take pictures and some farmer with his cows out in Arizona, you know, catching a shot of this thing in the sky. I mean, come on. They would not be detectable to our surveillance. They’re so far above us. And if they were, then why would they? What I mean is this. Why would they ever let themselves be seen at all? And notice that they are… That’s a great point. And finally, if they keep coming here to be seen, to be seen, to be seen, to be seen, how come they never, ever want to meet us?
SPEAKER 06 :
That’s a great point, too.
SPEAKER 08 :
And actually intervene in any way, shape, or form in life on Earth, because they don’t. Okay? So obviously, if they’ve been doing this all this time… Why are they doing it? Why are they coming all this way to poke around, make sure that they are seen by technology that is a million miles beneath theirs, but let us see them anyway for no reason, and then never meet us and never intervene in world affairs in any way, shape, or form?
SPEAKER 14 :
Great point. It goes back to my whole moon landing thing. Well, it’s like the explanation of the moon landing on my end, Andy. It’s just common sense would say they wouldn’t.
SPEAKER 03 :
They wouldn’t.

I mean, that’s the answer. They wouldn’t. There’s no reason to.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah.

Why would you?
SPEAKER 08 :
I mean, if you went to another planet and you let, let’s face it, compared to us, their technology would be about like amoebas.
SPEAKER 14 :
You mean if we went to Planet of the Apes?
SPEAKER 08 :
Sure. Sure. And you let yourself be seen by their incredibly low-level surveillance, which you could easily dodge. But you let yourself be seen by it anyway. Wouldn’t you ever say hi? Hello? And then maybe even meet them, intervene. Hey, I got some good ideas for you. Something. I mean, we talked about this before, but all these people who get angry at the idea of a biblical God who’s too… Who doesn’t intervene enough in human affairs? How could he let people starve in India, right? Right, right, right. Well, how could the aliens? If they could come here from a planet a zillion miles away, they could probably solve world hunger. They could probably solve anything.

But they don’t.

They don’t solve it. But everybody blames God, but nobody blames the aliens that they believe in.

Good point, Andy. Great point. That’s why I don’t believe in aliens.

Because they don’t exist. I’m just not one of those people. You’re not going to convince me otherwise because I’m with Andy on this one. If they really did exist, you’d know. They don’t.

And I don’t care what program you watch. I don’t care what guy from the military said what. I don’t care what dream he had or this, that or the other. I mean, you know, people talk about all sorts of weird things. And by the way, some people, I think, probably believe themselves when it comes to some of this stuff. But do I think that really happened? Yeah, no, I don’t.

But no, I love I love science fiction all day long, but doesn’t mean I believe any of it. I mean, I got a wild imagination. I can think all kinds of stuff, Andy. But at the end of the day, it ain’t real. Ain’t gonna happen.

Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy used to make fun of this, and they would say some aliens are just rich kids who come to Earth and just make sure that they’re seen by farmers so they can taunt them.

And really quick, for some of you, I wasn’t going to go here, but I might as well. I’ve seen some posts lately about how we live in an alternate reality and planet Earth is ready to do X, Y, Z, and this, that, and the other, and I just think to myself, A, why do I read this? But B, you’re a wackadoodle. Yeah. You are off your rocker to believe some of this nonsense. But people do, Andy. I know. And by the way, they’ll do that and in the same breath talk about how much they love the conservative side and politics and Trump this, that, and the other. And I’m just thinking, please don’t say that.
SPEAKER 08 :
I know.
SPEAKER 14 :
Please don’t go down that path because now you make us all look like a bunch of weirdos.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, our side is so overrun with conspiracy nuts right now.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, why is that, by the way?

I don’t know. I think, oh, bottom line, I think it’s because we had so many conspiracies come true. where the left was doing things to us, and we suspected it.
SPEAKER 14 :
Like Russian collusion. But those aren’t really conspiracies at that point. I mean, those are things that factually could be proved.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, yeah, I know. But what I mean is, at one point, everybody thought it was a grand conspiracy of the right that some deep state was engineering the Trump-Russia collusion narrative. Now we find out it was all true. See what I mean? And so a few of these conspiracies come true, and now they think everything is.

Hey, good. How are you, John?
SPEAKER 14 :
I’m very good. I appreciate you joining us. And this is a big topic right now because we hear all sorts of things in the news. We’re seeing different things along these lines. And that is the California congressional redistricting. We’ve seen some things happen down in Texas. California now thinks that they’re going to get the one up when it’s all said and done. I don’t think, Frank, it really ends well because this could be done across the country in even red areas that become more red. What are your thoughts?
SPEAKER 16 :
Well, For every state, they have their own jurisdiction to consider if they want to redistrict or not. For California, it’s a different story because California voters have already voted back in 2008 and 2011 that we voters do not trust the politicians to draw the maps. Instead, an independent citizen redistricting commission should draw the map.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay, so then what’s all this talk of Governor Newsom talking about how he’s going to spearhead a whole redistricting plan? What you’re telling me is he doesn’t have that authority.
SPEAKER 16 :
He doesn’t. So that’s why the California voters have to vote on Proposition 50 to… give so-called temporary authority to the politicians to redraw the map to, you know, quote, fight Trump, quote. So that’s basically their selling.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, Frank, how’s the polling looking on that? I mean, do you think that Prop 50 will succeed or be defeated?
SPEAKER 16 :
Well, currently there is not much polling in the public. The only polling was co-efficient that was done at the early October. It’s like close, within the margin of error. And right now it’s not a voting day, it’s a voting month. So with the current voting ballots that’s already returned, it’s kind of low turnout right now.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay. So in other words, there’s a chance that that doesn’t end up happening when it’s all said and done is what you’re saying. Because I guess ultimately, there’s not enough polling to know, but voter turnout is low, meaning there is a chance that that ends up being a no.
SPEAKER 16 :
It is possible. It is possible.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, I would think the Democrats would be the more energized group in this off-year election there in California. Is this going to be voted on this November?
SPEAKER 16 :
Yes, this November. Based on the ballots has already returned.
SPEAKER 14 :
So they’re already out. Yeah. Like Colorado, they’ve already got what they need. Right, right. Okay.
SPEAKER 16 :
Yeah. Actually, the Democrats have about the same percentage, I mean, same turnout rate as the Republicans. So the insuracism in both parties seems at the same level. And for the Democrats, obviously, Governor Newsom just tried to frame this election, special election, as a referendum to President Trump. So all his ad is about Fight Trump, fight Trump.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, bad Trump, bad man, bad man.
SPEAKER 16 :
Yeah, try to get control of the Congressional, you know, the House control in 2026. It’s completely partisan gerrymandering, and they have no shame hiding it.
SPEAKER 08 :
Frank, can I ask you a broader question here? Because, you know, you’re a Chinese American, okay? And a lot of Chinese and their families fled communist regimes, obviously. So you fled communism. You’ve come to America. You love the Constitution. And you know what it’s like to come from a nation, or at least your family does, a nation that doesn’t have the Constitution. What’s it like living in California with leadership that really doesn’t value the American Constitution?
SPEAKER 16 :
Yeah. So I have to correct you on one thing. Yeah. Even China has a constitution, quote, constitution. Well, yeah. However, they have no respect on the constitution. It’s just a paper. And that’s why, you know, I started this group to fight against Prop 50, because Governor Newsom basically is doing the same thing to the California Constitution. So they are like, hey, we don’t like this portion of Constitution. Let’s do a temporary change. And don’t worry, don’t worry. We will change it back. No, that’s not the right thing to do.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay. Now you’re just making – I mean, not that it didn’t make sense to begin with. This makes even more sense. Okay. Frank, talk to us about your organization, the Chinese Americans for the Constitution, and what you guys do, what’s your mission, your goal, how do folks help?
SPEAKER 16 :
Well, this is just a short-term organization, and the only goal is to fight against Prop 50 and also try to let the Californian voters know that this is not the right way to amend the Constitution. And if they just put power grabbing over the Constitution, they will suffer greater consequences, no matter if they could fight Trump or not. It’s not a good call.
SPEAKER 08 :
Do you find people that are really receptive to your message? I mean, I would think so because, look, Frank, you’re right. If Newsom can get this set aside for now, they’re just going to keep it set aside. You’re totally right on this. That’s right. Do a lot of Californians, are they listening to you?
SPEAKER 16 :
Yeah, it’s encouraging when we are on the field because basically what we have done is we have delivered 60,000 door hangers to every single house and we have another 10,000 on the way. So when we are on the field, when we talk with some Republicans or far leftists, no doubt they will not change their minds. But for moderate Democrats, they are very concerned. They are very concerned, and they agree with us, and they believe that The Democrats in California, they already have too many congressional congressmen, comparing to the percentage of the voters. Oh, yeah. And it’s a power grab, and they don’t like it, even though they’re Democrats.
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, Frank, the bottom line is if anybody donates to you, they are donating to help stop redistricting in California, which is incredibly beneficial for all of us nationwide. So how can people help you?

So that helps a lot. We have started the door hangers campaign. Two weeks before the ballots arrived on the voters’ houses. And now we are hitting on the sign waving to complete the last two weeks. And we are only two weeks away to the election day.

All right. And by the way, this is important for those of us even in Colorado. We’re not in California. You know, we don’t get to vote. But this could set. How do I want to say this, Frank and Andy? You would agree with me here. This could trigger other things going on throughout other states in the country. We want to try to stop this now. Right.
SPEAKER 16 :
Absolutely. We have to stop this now.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 08 :
In the immediate, it means five seats. Look, if it’s defeated, the Democrats do not add five seats in California.

And changing of their constitution, right?

Right. And changing of their constitution, even if it was going to add Democrat seats. And the reason is a lot of them were saying, well, we’re not going to feel represented anymore because we’re all being cloistered. into one area to where all the, uh, you would only have like just a couple Republican, uh, districts and that’s it in the entire state of California and everybody else. Basically all the districts would be so uneven. There’d be no reason to vote.

Okay. Okay. I didn’t realize that. So this thing may not pass.
SPEAKER 08 :
It may not.

How close will it be, do you think?
SPEAKER 08 :
Close. See, because, like I said, it was the early poll that I saw just on that question. It wasn’t on this 50, but it was on the question, do you want the governor to have the power to redistrict? It was 60-40 against. However, I’m sure that’s been getting closer.

In New York City, as you know, they’re about to elect a full-fledged communist and a lunatic. As their mayor in Mamdani. Now, the other two candidates right now are Cuomo and Sliwa, the Republican Sliwa. Now, the polls show that if Curtis Sliwa were to drop out, that Mamdani and Cuomo would be almost in a dead heat. Okay. And that means that Cuomo could actually down the stretch possibly take this race. Cuomo’s bad, but he’s nowhere near as bad as Mamdani.

Take him all day long over this guy.

Exactly. Now, and Sliwa is staying in the race. And this is where I look at this. I’m just like, dude, get out. And you’ve got all these Republicans who are supporting Sliwa who are very upset that other Republicans are calling him to get out. I’m just like, guys, registration in New York is eight to one Democrat to Republican. Curtis Sliwa cannot win.

He is not in the race. He can only, only succeed at doing one thing.

Handing the city to Mamdani. Now, look, you’ve got to think strategically, folks. This idea that strategy is the opposite of principle is nuts. You don’t advance any principles. With Como… You advance, say, five out of 100 principals. With Mamdani, it’s zero. And in fact, it goes negative 10. Okay? Everything horrible imaginable is going to happen to that city with Mamdani as the mayor. I mean, it’s going to be racist. It’s going to be crime-ridden in ways that they’ve never seen before. It is going to be… communistic i mean the rich are going to flee and take their money with them it’s going to be hard by the way though because their home values are going to plummet if he gets in because people know they’re going to move out they’re going to you know it’s going to be hard to get out of there right but they’re going to try look john do you see what i’m saying he’s got to get out i do And, you know, and this is I get so angry because I’ve seen it so many times when you’ve got three or four candidates in a race. And if this one would just get out, this one who has no chance would just get out. And he’s even been offered money to do it. And he says, no, I’m principled. You’re not principled. You’re making sure that the most unprincipled person is going to run the place.
SPEAKER 14 :
Talk to me. No, you’re right. In fact, these are people, and I’ve said this before, these are typically people, not always, but generally speaking, I would venture to guess, and I don’t know this particular individual, but I’m venture to guess he’s never owned his own business. That’d be my guess.
SPEAKER 08 :
I don’t know. I mean, he was the head of the, what is it, the Angels or whatever, who walk the streets and protect people in New York.
SPEAKER 14 :
Big deal. Still hasn’t ran a business. And the reason why I say he hasn’t run a business is because if you’re successful in business… the first thing you learn at the end of the day is, number one, who’s your market? Number two, sometimes you have to compromise things to actually be able to keep the business alive and sell to said market. Right. In other words, you might be so principled that you just know that, you know what? This product is far better than that product, and this is all I’m going to sell all day long while people coming in want the other product instead of the one that you want to sell them because you know it’s a better product. And by the way, it might be. It might be the best product on the market. But if it doesn’t sell… Does it matter, Andy?
SPEAKER 08 :
It does not. It does not matter.
SPEAKER 14 :
And that’s my point where a lot of these politicians, people in our own party even, have never ran a successful business because if they had, they’d understand the principle I just said. And they don’t. They don’t. They are going to stick to their guns no matter what, period. It’s almost like—and this is where I think they get into trouble.
SPEAKER 01 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 14 :
And this is where I think—I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I think this is where our side struggles so much. And bear with me. I hope I can explain this correctly. Because not everybody that’s on the right is a Christian. Okay, just because you’re a conservative and a Republican doesn’t mean you’re a Christian, but a lot are. Okay? In general, it kind of goes hand in hand. Because of our belief system, it sort of does fit together. Now, unfortunately, though, because of the gospel, and how we look at the gospel, and the fact that it can’t be unwavering, and no, there’s no compromise, and there is only one way to heaven, and that is through Christ and Christ alone. And I get all of that, Andy. And in that case, there is no compromise. There’s not multiple ways to heaven. Right. There’s not ten different ways. Well, we’re not talking about heaven. We’re talking about New York City. The problem, though, is… As Christian conservatives, they get that mindset. Right. Where this is the only way it can be, and I can’t compromise my principles, quote unquote. And you hear it over and over and over again. And the problem is they can’t, in their mind, separate the gospel from winning.
SPEAKER 08 :
Does that make sense? Yes. Remember our last Senate race? Who did we have running? Joe O’Day.
SPEAKER 14 :
Joe O’Day.
SPEAKER 08 :
OK, who Ron Hanks, Ron Hanks and took the purest vote away from O’Day.
SPEAKER 14 :
Correct. And we lost big time.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yeah. And by the way, O’Day, even with Ron Hanks taking away his voters away from O’Day, O’Day still came five points closer than Ganahl came in her race.
SPEAKER 14 :
Right. Meaning if you hadn’t had that disruption with Hanks, you might have actually won if you’d gotten behind the guy. It would have been closer. Both sides made big mistakes. I said this at that time. So did Andy. Joe and his campaign made huge mistakes in doing what they did. The other side made huge mistakes in what they did. At the end of the day, it was an absolute disaster. My point, though, is I think, Andy, a lot of folks on the right. This guy included, probably. They feel like it gets convoluted. They get in their mind. They can’t separate the gospel and the truism that’s there. It has to be, by the way. And yes, there is no compromising there, and I understand that, but they let that run the rest of their life, and you can’t.

John, you’re very right, because a lot of Christians make this mistake. That’s right. This is huge in the church. And I heard people say Joe O’Day is no better than the Democrat. That is factually untrue.

That was a false statement, big time.

Joe O’Day on abortion is well to my left. He is not where I am.

He is also well to the right of most of them.

When in my personal life, every decision I make affects my life only. Okay. So in my personal life, yes, everything I do should completely reflect God. Okay. In my public life, guess what? Sometimes you got to sell a product that isn’t entirely godly. You know what I’m saying? Well, yeah. You sell. Well, what if you work for a Toyota dealership? And guess what? Toyota does some things that are not godly with their corporation. I mean, you can’t be 100%.

No, because if you do, you’re going to be 100% broke and lonely. Right. And you’ll be irrelevant. Right. At the end of the day.

Yeah. These purists are killing us.

And quickly, folks, for those of you that would argue with me and say, well, that’s not what Christ would have done, that’s exactly what he did.

Yeah, and also people have to understand there’s a difference between having to win an election and get a majority of the vote and making a personal decision for Christ.

You see what I’m saying? And I always have to remind people of this because at times even I don’t say this enough. In the United States of America, and in every state, city, local election, whatever the case may be, we are a republic.

We are not a democracy. I am hiring somebody to go do something that I can’t do myself, meaning they’re an employee of mine. So I ask all of you that are Christian employers, is every employee you hire perfect? No. Does every employee that you hire do exactly what you do?

Yes. All of them have to be perfect and pure. Otherwise, they’re all fired.
SPEAKER 14 :
Does every employee actually believe the same way you do? No, of course not. So then, at the end of the day, there’s your answer to what we’re talking about in politics. Dan, go ahead.
SPEAKER 15 :
It’s pride. Flat-out pride. People are too prideful. People that vote for principled people and people who are principled. It’s pride in their not willing to admit that, like you guys are saying, take four out of the 20 because you still got four and then you got a foothold. It’s just like people that want to, they’re principal, they go to school, they get an education, they think they need to be in a higher up position and they won’t accept a job. It’s just like take the job, get your foot in the door, and then move up.
SPEAKER 14 :
Right.
SPEAKER 15 :
But if you never take the job, you’re never going to move up. That’s right. You’re principled, but you’re unemployed.
SPEAKER 08 :
But you’re broke. Yeah, you’re principled, but you’re broke. Well, Dan, really quick here. Curtis Sliwa literally has a 0% chance to win. He could run for this 1,000 times. He would lose 1,000 out of 1,000. There is zero chance. So all he’s doing is making a statement.
SPEAKER 14 :
Right.
SPEAKER 08 :
And his statement is taking votes away from a lesser evil.
SPEAKER 15 :
That’s right. But I’ve said this before, is we’re so principled that we’re throwing the baby out with the bathwater. That’s right. And it’s like, so we’re against abortion. Let’s just use abortion as an issue. So… We won’t vote for a candidate, and I guess that was Joe O’Day, right? That’s correct. Right?
SPEAKER 14 :
Because he believed in – he was okay with early abortions, you know, first-term abortions.
SPEAKER 15 :
Okay, which the majority – the polling shows the majority of people are – they’re okay with that, even though it’s wrong. Agreed. But that’s a different subject altogether. So we lose a seat, and – Instead of having early-term abortions occur, now we’ve got abortions up to and probably including the day of birth. And so we lost out big time.
SPEAKER 14 :
And let’s look long-term. And now we’ve got the same person we lost against that’s most likely going to be governor of Colorado that will then appoint our previous governor senator, meaning it’s a double whammy, and we lost huge, Dan. But see, those people that I’m talking about don’t think that far down the road.
SPEAKER 08 :
They believe strategy is compromise, and compromise is evil.
SPEAKER 14 :
They have no clue.
SPEAKER 15 :
It’s not…

OK, sorry. No, you know, yeah, we and we got to run to break. But, you know, Dan, I get it. You’re spot on. I feel trust me. We feel he’s frustrated. I feel his frustration, Andy, because you and I go through this all the time because it is all it is so frustrating.

I know Dan is reasonable and that’s why he’s miserable about this.

And you and I are as well, because we look at this and just you want to just hit your head against the wall thinking to yourself, McFly, how hard is this? It’s awful. It’s not that complicated.
