In this enlightening episode, host John Rush is joined by Dr. Scott Faulkner to unravel the transformative potential of plasmapheresis in addressing autoimmune disorders and its preventative benefits for young women planning pregnancy. The discussion dives deep into how this cutting-edge procedure, initially explored by biohackers like Brian Johnson, can align the immune system’s innate and active components while staving off autoimmune diseases. Dr. Faulkner shares insights on the troubling presence of ‘forever chemicals’ in our bodies and the crucial role plasmapheresis could play in mitigating these risks.
SPEAKER 06 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 07 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 05 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 15 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did!
SPEAKER 03 :
Get a job first! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 11 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 04 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 06 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush. Presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 04 :
Welcome back, listeners. Dr. Scott Faulkner. It’s a beautiful Wednesday here in the Mile High City. If you want to be part of the program, if you have a question for Jeremy or myself, 303-477-5600. If you want to get a hold of me at the office, the Castle Rock Regenerative Healthcare is the name of the clinic. The number there is 303-663-6990. 303-663-6990. We’d love to entertain any questions you might have.
SPEAKER 10 :
I’ve lived here for 12 years, and I’ve never not seen a snowflake yet by this date. Exactly. I don’t know. There’s records. I haven’t looked it up, but that’s pretty incredible.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
Sorry for you skiers. You can’t wait until after Christmas, I guess, myself included.
SPEAKER 04 :
We’ll probably get dumped on. Let’s hope we do because we need the moisture, right? Amen. But we’ll take this Indian summer all day, every day. It’s beautiful. So we were talking about plasmapheresis before we went to the break, and we didn’t quite finish that. And we will be running a special for 20 people, the first 20 people and only 20 people. This will never happen again. There will be a substantial price break for those who want to get into this. But at your new new clinic, it’ll be the new clinic. Correct. But we didn’t touch on why is this so important, especially for young ladies who are thinking of becoming pregnant? And a segue to that is people biohackers longevity. So let’s take the pregnant young lady or somebody who wants to get pregnant. Why is this so important?
SPEAKER 10 :
Well, first of all, there’s only 19 spots left because I just.
SPEAKER 04 :
Oh, that’s right. OK.
SPEAKER 10 :
I’m kidding aside. Um, so long story short, I did a pretty deep dive on this because it’s one of the more expensive modalities it’s up there with, you know, the stem cells and whatnot. So I thought, you know, is it worth it for me? You know, Brian Johnson did it because he’s doing all the things. And what I found out is it actually is very beneficial for those that either have an autoimmune disease already have the biomarkers or the gene alleles from their folks. Like I do from my mom’s rheumatoid arthritis. Or to even prevent autoimmune disease, the way that it, and again, I’m the layperson, but the way it biohacks the immune system between the innate and the active immune system to make them get along, those nasty inflammatory cytokines in the old plasma that you take out is a culprit. for some of that immune system chaos, if you will. So the reason I wanted to embark on it, and I’m very excited to hear that you’re getting involved in it, was for the autoimmune side of things. And I think that’s important for a lot of people, because we decided, I should say, I’ll give credit to Peter Atiyah, but he outlaid that it really is the fifth horseman. The immune system is very, very important. So this is a way for us to be able to attack the immune system in a good way and stave off or reverse autoimmune disease. And then there’s the longevity piece, which really got me excited. So this study came out, I think it was in May is when you mentioned, but, and they only had, I think up to 35 or 50 participants, but it was a real, you know, controlled trial and they did, you know, three different ways to go about it. And their data showed just from the albumin and, They got 2.6 years of biological age reversal just from that small segment. You know, so over time, my gut tells me that we can lengthen that. But, I mean, who wouldn’t want an extra three years guaranteed, first of all? So, yeah, I don’t want people to think it’s just for, like – You know, the ill or the, you know, the multi, you know, comorbidity situation. This really is a biohacker’s dream from what I can see. And I’m very excited to do it myself.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. So back to the forever chemicals because we can’t get off this topic until we touch on that.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, so this kind of – I was doing some research, and it hit me like a ton of bricks. And I follow Science Direct and Science Alert, and then I cross-reference and let AI pull all the articles and stuff together to see if it’s legitimate. So there’s a lot of bad information out there right now. And what I’ve found is obviously the plasmapheresis, i.e. the therapeutic plasma exchange, removes the forever chemicals, the microplastics. And you can get geeky on the terms, but I think it’s PFAS is what these nasty forever chemicals that are in our plasma are. Well, they found that when a woman of childbearing age, let’s say between, I don’t know, 18 and 40 generally, it’s probably some outliers, but for the most part, they’re going to pass those forever chemicals through to their baby. Yep. And there’s a study, I’m drawing a blank on the exact one, but, you know, where five-year-old children were shown, you know, to have very serious issues and cognitive decline as a result of those forever chemicals.
SPEAKER 04 :
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER 10 :
So, my conclusion was, man, I wish I knew this back before I had children, but that the woman can actually remove those chemicals from her plasma and put the good stuff in before she gets pregnant and prevent that risk factor to the baby. I think that is absolutely groundbreaking and up there with the GLP-1 breakthroughs because, let’s face it, I’m 47 and a half years old. My generation put a lot of nasty stuff in our bodies. you know, the, all the bad foods and, you know, and all the bad habits. So those forever chemicals are probably higher than we even know.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 10 :
And the fact that, you know, you can explain from a MD’s perspective, you know, kind of a, the how or the why behind the what, but you know, the literature didn’t lie. And I was like, wow, this is pretty amazing stuff.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. And for the listeners, if you want to write this down, um, It was a science alert, right? And the article was Forever Chemicals and Mother’s Blood Linked to Brain Changes in Their Kids. It was produced or written and published in Health, the October 23rd of 2025 issue. And it basically explains exactly what you said. So the PFAS, some people are hearing about this for the first time. that there are these chemicals that don’t break down ever in your body. So PFAS stands for per, P-E-R, and polyfluoroalkyl substances, right? So poly, P-O-L-Y, fluoro, F-L-U-O-R-O, alkyl, A-L-K-Y-L, substances. And there’s many of them underneath that heading, but… It is wreaking havoc. So when you get your food from your favorite fast food restaurant, you take it home, you microwave that in that plastic tub.
SPEAKER 10 :
So all the ramen noodle microwaved in the plastic bowl every day for years.
SPEAKER 04 :
Correct. So not only are you getting the microplastics, but you’re also getting some of these forever chemicals that don’t break down.
SPEAKER 10 :
So dummy question, you know, is there a biomarker test that can tell you if you have them and how high they are? Good question. And then if you can find that out and say, oh, oh, my goodness, like mine are way in the red here. You know, can I get them down? And God forbid if I’m a woman. get that blood work done and see, right? So you can have a little risk-benefit analysis of whether it makes sense or not.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, great question. So the short answer is absolutely. So Quest Labs has a panel that you can do multiple of these things in a SEM environment. I’m going to give you acronyms. I’m not going to explain every last one. We don’t have time, but the MEFOSAA, the PFHXS, linear PFOA, branch PFOA. I mean, there’s so many of them that we can do on the panel through Quest. So just call the office. We can do this. Remember what I said, pretty much any lab that Quest offers, we can do through the office.
SPEAKER 10 :
So a dummy like me, like put the forever chemicals and microplastics ones on there.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. So because you’ve got to ask yourself as a provider, one, if I do a test, what am I going to do with the results, right? Right. Because I can test you for a lot of things, but if it doesn’t fix or if I don’t have the treatment for it, I’m doing you a big disservice.
SPEAKER 10 :
You’re just going to scare them because there’s nothing to do about it.
SPEAKER 04 :
It’s like doing the genetic test for, say, Alzheimer’s.
SPEAKER 10 :
Right. You get two copies of APOE4, and you’re like, well, great. I can exercise myself to death, but every night I’m going to worry about when it’s going to come.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s right. So you scare yourself. But now that we can stop or reverse the damage, right, that’s the epigenetics, that’s penetrance, can we do something about it? So now we can actually do something about these forever chemicals and the microplastics. So not only in women who are going to give birth to their child, who wants to pass that along in the placenta because it does cross. We know that for a fact now. But also guys, right? We don’t want that floating around in our bodies.
SPEAKER 10 :
So kind of a dummy question. I’m no longer going to have children, but my kids will. If the guy gets the microplastics out – Or doesn’t? Does it in the fertilization process hurt the female egg too? Should they both?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, that’s a research question, right? That’s a hypothesis. But we need somebody with a lot of money to do that research or the government to do it. The short answer right now is we don’t know.
SPEAKER 10 :
Brian Johnson, if you’re listening.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s right. But we know that fertility rates are plummeting, right? And it’s multifactorial. It’s probably part of this forever chemicals, microplastics, radio waves. The nutritional content of our food is horrible. It’s blue light. Our kids are being bombarded with so much stuff that in our generation, you know, we didn’t have all this stuff.
SPEAKER 10 :
No, we just got killed by the fast food.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, and too much heavy metal. Yeah. So I wanted to make sure that we touched that because it’s such a new, exciting area in medicine, and we’re going to be able to do something about it. So that will come with our expansion in January. And like I said, now 19 people will get that special, but only 19 people, and then it’s gone.
SPEAKER 10 :
So you go, you sign up, you put a deposit down. It sounds as if it’ll be around kind of mid-February, early March before you can actually start, you know, taking the plasma out and putting the good stuff in.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. So our nurses have to be trained on the technology. But, I mean, they’re nurses. They’re used to poking people and taking blood out. The machine will do the work. So really you’re looking at end of January, early February.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay. It sounds like someone young and healthy, I’m not going to say I’m young, but healthier can be like a 90 minute process. But if it’s someone maybe that’s elderly and they have some other issues, it could last up to three or four hours.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. We’d have to go slower and slow it down because one thing we don’t want is your blood pressure to drop because we are taking blood out of your system.
SPEAKER 10 :
How much do you take? Like a lot of it or?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, at any given time, it’s not a lot. You might be down a pint as it runs through the machine. It’s like doing dialysis.
SPEAKER 10 :
Oh, and you’re putting more in.
SPEAKER 04 :
Correct. It’s always in and out. It’s a circuit. Gotcha. But if you have stiff vessels, and as we get older, that’s one of the problems we see, especially in the ICU with my older patients. is their blood vessels are not as compliant. They’re not soft and elastic-y. So those folks, you have to be very careful because you can drop somebody’s blood pressure very, very quickly. They don’t respond as well. So just caution.
SPEAKER 10 :
And I think one of your nurses mentioned something like the machine that you’re getting is the one that the FDA approved. That’s correct. It sounds like there’s not many that are, but this one is.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 10 :
Okay, great.
SPEAKER 04 :
And as we get closer to the launch date, I’ll give that information. Awesome. I’m teasing it right now. More to come.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah. And I’m extra excited because it’s been a long time since there’s been something like super new and cool that I haven’t been able to try yet.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. So we’re both excited. So I wanted to segue talking about couples getting healthy together. We had teased this kind of last time when we were on with Regina, a Brit, and how couples, husbands, wives can come together and do something for themselves. And as we mentioned, getting an HSA account is not a bad idea. So they can spend money together. And now that we’re in open enrollment, we’re getting towards the end of the year, instead of buying a box of Band-Aids and a bunch of reading glasses and Neosporin, I want to really drive home how important this is for couples to do together.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, and it makes perfect sense because even in my case, my wife and I, she’s been inching along and joining me and seeing the results. And again, she’s a little bit younger. But what a way to spend time together and get healthier together and spend that quality time doing those things as a couple. And it sounds like… you know, they probably even get a discount, right? Since you kind of get a little two for one there. So I think that’s an exciting way to look at it versus just, you know, oh, well, you know, maybe, you know, she’s the one that focuses a lot and, you know, and he doesn’t or vice versa. I think once you start to see the results in the blood work, you know, then it’s like, well, what about me, babe? Right. So go into it, you know, headfirst of, hey, let’s both get our blood work done and and see how we can do this thing together.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, fantastic. And now that the holidays are coming up, what a great gift to give your spouse. Say, you know what? Let’s do this together because you’re exactly right. I normally get one person. It’s usually the wives. I will admit that. And then once the husbands see, oh my gosh, you’re dropping weight. You’re looking good. You’re feeling good again. can I go talk to Dr. Faulkner? Absolutely. So why not just make the commitment, do it together and start this journey. And so that way you have an accountability partner because there’s nothing worse than one spouse starting to eat better, right? And do the right things. But in the refrigerator, you have your A2 milk, you have your wheat grinder and one spouse is eating well and the other is still pigging out on McDonald’s.
SPEAKER 10 :
Right. Exactly. Exactly.
SPEAKER 04 :
So that would be my suggestion is use that end of the money year on keeping each other healthy and do this together as a couple.
SPEAKER 10 :
And you’ll probably find different things, right? Like, you know, he has this and she has that, but there’s probably a lot of commonalities where you can say, all right, we both need to take this, you know, supplement every day and we need to have this regimen. But there’s going to be some subtleties and differences too. So it’s important. For instance, if I do something and I go home and it’s working, say, hey, honey, you should take this too. Well, I don’t necessarily know if she should be. So that’s why we’re doing, as you know, doing her blood work now too.
SPEAKER 04 :
And then you get a doctor who knows the difference between a man and a woman and can guide both of you. But if you’re able to go and work out together, you’re eating the same meals, You’re seeing progress. I mean, what a great gift.
SPEAKER 10 :
Agreeing on sleep, shutting things down, getting the right sleep. So there you go. Three of the four things that you can do to get healthy, you’re doing together. And, you know, there’s no tension.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, and then with your aura ring, you notice your stress is coming down because now you’re rowing the boat in the same direction. You’re like, wow, this is a gift. That’s right. So I offer that to you. So the office number is 303-663-6990. We’re going to take a quick break. When we come back, we want to hear more of your journey, where you’re at. Most folks have been following along with Jeremy’s progress. Cool. But I want you to give an update. So we’re going to take a break right now. We’ll be right back. Dr. Scott Faulkner, 560-KLZ.
SPEAKER 02 :
Here’s why you need personal injury attorney Kevin Flesch on your side. He understands the way the jury thinks. In the context of a personal injury case, you’ve been hurt by someone else’s negligence. The idea is that you’re going to try to recover so that you can get back to where you were just prior to that incident occurring. What that really means from a jurist’s perspective is that you’re going to be asking them to award you money. So when we talk about fairness, we’re talking about six people that you don’t know. Those six people view the evidence and make a unanimous decision that will decide what the fair value is. When you’re the one who’s hurt, you have a good idea of what you think it’s worth. The question is, can you persuade those other individuals whom you don’t know and were witnesses to believe that’s what the case is worth? Kevin Flesch understands the way the jury thinks. Call now for a free consultation. 303-806-8886
SPEAKER 01 :
What if you could get over 110 lab biomarkers tested just like Dr. Mark Hyman advertises, but for a fraction of the cost and with a doctor who actually explains the results? At Castle Rock Regenerative Health, Dr. Scott Faulkner has recreated this powerful biomarker test panel at a substantial savings. For the month of November, we have a special price for both men and women. Just $689. That’s a savings of over $2,500 over the standard price. And here’s the difference. With Hyman, you get numbers on a page. With Castle Rock Regenerative Health, you get Dr. Faulkner and his team walking you through every result, showing what’s off and creating a personalized plan to fix it. What’s even better, you don’t even have to be a concierge patient to get this pricing. This is open to everyone. Think about it. Most people’s deductible is higher than this special price. And your regular doctor, if he could get approved by your insurance, would never order this many tests, let alone know what to do with them. Call 303-663-6990 today or visit CastleRockRegenerativeHealth.com. That’s 303-669-6990. Take control of your health at Castle Rock Regenerative Health.
SPEAKER 04 :
This is Rush to Reason on KLZ 560. Welcome back, listeners. Dr. Scott Faulkner. I’m going to talk really fast because we’re running out of time, and there’s so many things I told you at the beginning of the segment, the show, that I had a long list of things to get through, and we’ve been doing such deep dives. It’s exciting, but there’s a lot of other things that I want to talk about. So one of the main things is we are going to put together the Ultimate Biohacking Membership, That is coming. Judy, my boss, she’s the brains of the outfit. She is putting that together. She wanted me to tease this. So stay tuned. But those who want a membership that will encompass pretty much the whole thing, you could be a baby Jeremy with all the stuff. because people are asking for that it’s like i want it i i’m a firm believer now i’m tired of aging i’m tired of the standard garbage that i get out of the medical system i believe in this i want to do it so we’re putting that together for you so stay tuned oh that’s great especially with the coaching the accountability it’s it’s time for an operation all the things Yeah. So we look forward to seeing that and telling you about that probably in December, probably the last time before we’ll be on right before Christmas break. And then we’ll be into the new space and we’ll have a grand opening so people can come to that.
SPEAKER 10 :
So exciting.
SPEAKER 04 :
But in the meantime, if you have any other questions, call us at the office, the 303-663-6990. And I’m happy to talk to you or the staff and start you on this journey. So I wanted to give you guys an update on stem cells because I haven’t talked about stem cells a lot. As you know, that’s really where I got started with my uncle who had Lou Gehrig’s. So, once again, here’s my disclaimer for all the lawyers out there and the people that work for the FDA. What I’m talking about are stem cells that are derived from the umbilical cord of a baby that was born alive and healthy. The FDA has not approved them for the conditions that I treat people for on the regenerative side. Yes, the cells have been approved for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, blood cancers, but for what I use on the regenerative side, the FDA has not approved them. So, there’s my disclaimer. But on myself, I went out to Southern California where my friend, he’s the researcher. He does stuff with the natural killer cells. He does stem cells. He does Wharton’s jelly cells, mu cells. And because it’s radio, you guys can’t see this, but I normally have really thick hair. When I was playing football in high school, my dad said, son, you have the hair of a Greek god. And I’m like, whatever you’re talking about, Dad, whatever. I just want to play football. I was so broke I couldn’t afford a haircut because my family didn’t come from much, and so I would delay haircuts. And it was in the 80s, and so long hair was the thing with all the rock bands, and my best friend Ben was a drummer. But when I got into my later 50s, I lost the hair at the top of my head in a circle, right, as a lot of guys do. Merrill Pattern baldness on the crown. Yeah, and it really bugged me because I was used to having a lot of hair. And I had tried numerous things. Some people would do minoxidil, and then you do the Propecias of the world. And some people will say, well, do PRP, which doesn’t work. You can spend a lot of money trying to get this. And as guys, we’re vain.
SPEAKER 10 :
Or plugs or fly to Turkey and all that.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, exactly. Or go to the Bosley Clinic, I think it is.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, Bosley is the American one. I’ve heard that the Turkish companies are a little bit better. But it’s expensive. It’s painful. The scabbing, the time, it’s a lot.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right. So fast forward to August 23rd of this year. My friend, the researcher, said, you know what? I’m on to something. So he took not just the umbilical cord stem cells, but he added a secret sauce. So I know for a fact that there’s some Wharton’s jelly cells in there, some Muse cells, M-U-S-E, and some CD34 stem cells. So this is a concoction, a witch’s brew. And I’ve got the video to show it. I’ll probably put this on my website so people can see. And one injection, because I didn’t have that big of an area, but there was no hair there. And injected my head, and today is what, November 12th or 11th?
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, a couple of months.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay, so about a little over two months. And I look like a little chia pet.
SPEAKER 10 :
I can test. He showed me the before and after, and I’m like, holy smokes, this is a game changer.
SPEAKER 04 :
So I am so excited about this. And now we’re also using a different concoction with joints. So no longer is it just the mesenchymal stem cells, but we’re adding some of these other things to like a mu cell. He doesn’t work the same way that a mesenchymal stem cell does, which is the paracrine effect. The mu cells actually engraft and become the new tissue. So you’re getting a one-two punch. And the Wharton’s jelly cells are basically the same thing as an umbilical cord stem cell, but a little more powerful. And more potent. More potent. That’s a good way to put it. And so this combination is a game changer. And as I told you folks… The world of stem cells is just in its infancy. The things that the researchers are starting to do with these things are absolutely incredible. And on the cancer side, the NK cells, we’re starting to see really good results with the natural killer cells. So we’re still gathering the data to be able to do real published studies, but it’s pretty exciting to be in medicine now Where I don’t just look at you say, well, you need chemotherapy. We’re going to give you these toxins. It’s going to kill you or maybe not kill you, but you’ll be dead shortly thereafter. You’ll wish you were dead.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, I mean, I was wondering when, you know, Mel Gibson’s friends and Elon Musk’s friends on Joe Rogan were like, yeah, they all had stage four cancer and now they’re cancer free. Some really cool stuff happening. And for you to be on the forefront of it, it’s an honor just to see it happening.
SPEAKER 04 :
And it’s right here. You don’t have to go to Costa Rica. You don’t have to go to Panama because one of the problems when you go to these places, you have no idea what they’re putting in your body. Of course. Because they don’t have an FDA and they a lot of it is, you know, snake oil. So why spend thousands of dollars for snake oil when what I use is regulated by the FDA? I will show you the paperwork. So it’s the best of the best. So I wanted to give that update on stem cells. And hopefully somebody listening will say, you know what, it’s time. Or you have a bad knee, bad hip, bad shoulder, something like that. That’s low-hanging fruit. But the hair regrowth has got me so excited.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, not that all you bald men out there aren’t beautiful as well, but those of us that are a little bit vain and want to keep what we have, it’s extremely exciting.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s exactly right. So before we cut out of here, we’re running out of time. I wanted to make sure I gave you ample time to talk about you and what’s going on in your world.
SPEAKER 10 :
Oh, I’m honored. Thank you. It’s been a great journey. It’s accelerating like a snowball going down a hill with all the new stuff we’re talking about. So I just want to tell one story because there’s this sauna that you have that is in a small area that I don’t see used very often at all. And we’ve mentioned on the radio before, it’s HOCAT is the acronym, stands for hypothermic ozone carbonic acid transdermal therapy sauna. I know that’s a mouthful. And a lot of the famous guys out there, the Tony Robbins and the Damon Johns, a lot of athletes have these things. You basically go up to your neck. You get infused with something that opens up your pores. And then you get the largest organ in the body gets hit with ozone. And it’s for immune system boost and for detoxification. And I’ve been going in it now for 10 months in a row. I’ve only missed two weeks for travel. And I’ve mentioned before that I’ve never in my life not been sick. Every three or four months, you know, you get a rhinovirus or norovirus or the flu or something that knocks you down. And I got a little interesting story here. So I went into it two weeks ago after a week off. And I took my son to the opening night of the Colorado Avalanche game. So opening night, everybody’s screaming. There’s a lot of COVID starting to spike, and people are getting sick. And then the next night, I took him to see Paul McCartney at Coors Field. 70,000 people belting Beatles songs into the air for three straight hours. And didn’t think anything of it. The next day was Sunday about 8 o’clock in the evening. I felt a little warm and I had my wife feel my head and she’s like, oh yeah, you’re warm. So I got the thermometer and I had a 103 fever. So I’m like, oh man, like my streak is coming to an end here of not getting sick. So I thought about it and like, all right, well, here’s the two days, the crud, the chills, the, you know, the hot, the sweating and been there many, many times before. 4 a.m. I wake up to get a glass of water and, you know, and I feel my head and I can’t really tell. So I grabbed the thermometer.
SPEAKER 1 :
98.7.
SPEAKER 10 :
Turn it off, turn it back on.
SPEAKER 1 :
98.7.
SPEAKER 10 :
I never got sick. I never had a symptom other than that fever that spiked for about a six hour, you know, time frame. And I still have not been sick because I go into this Hockett sauna. So it’s just underutilized. I think it’s like a steam room, a dry sauna on steroids that basically puts the ozone and bolsters the immune system. But whatever got into me was like, no, I’m out of here. This immune system is way too tough. I’ll go find another host.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right. It tapped out.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, it tapped out. So that was really exciting. So I thought the streak was over, and it certainly wasn’t. So on top of that, I just did my annuals and 190 biomarkers with several more.
SPEAKER 04 :
So let’s hold on to that. Okay. That’s great for the next segment. This is a perfect place to go to a commercial break. Sounds good. Because I want to give you ample time to discuss that.
SPEAKER 10 :
Awesome.
SPEAKER 04 :
So we’ll take a quick break. We’ll come right back. Dr. Scott Faulkner filling in for John, 560-KLZ.
SPEAKER 13 :
Gil, what was your experience like working with RoofMax?
SPEAKER 08 :
Very good. With Dave Hart, we right away connected. You know, he was a very nice person to talk to, very accommodating. He even came over to my location when I asked him that I couldn’t go to him. He came to me and he walked the roof and he said, Gil, there’s just a couple of minor repairs needed. A few shingles needed to be replaced. And that was the start of my conversation to go with him. I said, well, give me a bid and we’ll go from there.
SPEAKER 13 :
That’s great to hear. And how long did the process take from your first call to the final treatment?
SPEAKER 08 :
Well, it was an excellent experience. They were very accommodating with my time. Dave was very willing to meet my needs. And so it gave me an idea of what it would take to repair it. It wasn’t very much. And so I think it was maybe he came over one day and then maybe two days afterwards and got it all done. All in one day. It was awesome.

The best export we have is Common Sense. You’re listening to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 04 :
You’re actually listening to Dr. Scott Faulkner filling in for John Rush on Health and Wellness Wednesday. So my great friend, biohacker expert Jeremy Silva was talking about how you’re about to get your biomarkers.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, so I did the blood work and I’m waiting on the results of a lot of them, but I already got 170 back from last year. So there’s been some significant improvements, mostly in metabolic health and heart health, which were two areas of concern for me. Like, for instance, my heart number, my ApoB is 42. Wow. My LP little a is below one, like undetectable. Inflammation markers, undetectable. And vitamin D level, 75.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. So let me stop you right there. So those who are listening, your Apo protein little b. And your lipoprotein A, they’re actually cardiac risk factors for heart disease. They are stronger predictors than your LDL cholesterol. Because when you go to your doctor, he pats you on the head and says, well, we’ll check your cholesterol. And your LDL comes back. If it’s north of 100, he says, oh, you need a statin. Well, at my clinic, we go a step further through this Mark Hyman panel is we will do something called NMR, nuclear magnetic resonance, where we actually look at the particle size because if your LDL, even though it’s the quote-unquote bad cholesterol, if it’s the lighter, fluffier, it’s not that big of a deal. You want beach balls, not golf balls. That’s exactly right. But the stronger predictors is the ApoB and the lipoprotein A. And I can promise you most 95% of doctors don’t even check them. Yeah, that’s right. But yet they’re a better predictor. Yep, definitely. And then you were checking what else?
SPEAKER 10 :
Inflammation test, sedimentation rate test was one. So HSCRP, inflammatory test, less than one.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, so HSCRP is highly sensitive C-reactive protein. That and the ESR, the sedimentation rate, is a marker of inflammation. It’s not specific for what kind of inflammation, but if you have an autoimmune disorder or if you have pneumonia or a sinus infection, it doesn’t matter, inflammation in your body, those will be up. So oftentimes what I’ll see is yesterday I had a patient, their C-reactive protein was 4.5%. When I looked at the 110 biomarkers, that’s where I picked up an autoimmune disorder. I would have never known.
SPEAKER 10 :
There you go.
SPEAKER 04 :
But you say four. Well, that’s not that high. If you had pneumonia, it would be 60, 70, 80 big numbers. If you have a sinus infection, it will be 40, 50 bigger numbers, right? But what happens when you get a patient with the C-reactive protein is four, four and a half, seven. You’re like, you scratch your head. There’s some information. There’s something going. Let’s dig deeper. Let’s dig deeper. And because I did the 110 biomarkers, I was able to go. And when I got to that page, I’m like, now I know why. You have an autoimmune disorder and you didn’t know it. Yep. Now let’s address it.
SPEAKER 10 :
In my case, it was RNP antibodies and RA factor.
SPEAKER 04 :
So RA is rheumatoid arthritis.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, rheumatoid arthritis. So now those are normal. And we haven’t even done the plasmapheresis yet. Right. So all the other modalities have at least held off that, and it’s improved a lot in the last year. So I wish my mother would have had these opportunities 20 years ago for her RA. But, yeah, it’s incredible stuff as far as the inflammation markers go. Vitamin D, 75%. Testosterone, 1250%. With free direct, which is tough to get, 32.5%. Estradiol, 50%. Hematocrit, 48%. Hemoglobin, 16.5%. These numbers are phenomenal as far as putting all the pieces together. Thyroid, perfect. So I also have testing coming in for all 11 organ systems and the microbiome, which is next. So I can really take that holistic look because the microbiome is very important. Those little bugs in the brain.
SPEAKER 04 :
The gut-brain connection is absolutely important.
SPEAKER 10 :
Exactly. So in another epigenetic clock test through true diagnostic, which is the one Brian Johnson uses to pair it with the glycan age. So we can look at the inflammatory glycans and then the 11 organ systems in total. So really get a complete dashboard. And when that’s all done, I’m guessing these things, you know, you get the lab takes a month. sometime early in 2026, I’m going to put the entire case study from COVID through now together, and I’m going to disclose everything, my name, my birth date, all my labs. And boy, was it hard to collect them from the old docs. And I’ll let you publish it on whatever website or social media or wherever it makes sense. And it’s going to look pretty scary to me, the before, but man, do I love the after. So it’s going to be cool to kind of like launch that. And again, I still feel like I’m just scratching the surface on some of these things. So, and before I forget, we were talking about the hyperbaric oxygen chair therapy chamber that you have, and you’re getting another one and you’re getting a four seater. So other, you know, you know, athletes and people that want to, you know, mess with, you know, fixing concussions and broken bones and just athletic performance. I’m not going to say his name, but my son broke his wrist on September 13th in a hockey game. So it was a metaphyseal buckle fracture across the growth plate. And obviously off the ice, you know, to the ER. And they originally said eight to ten weeks to heal, but go see an ortho specialist. Go to the ortho specialist. Then they said, eh, six to eight weeks with the cast. Well, I heard eight from both, so I’m going to count on eight for the hockey season.
SPEAKER 02 :
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER 10 :
And I’m like, man, this HBOT machine has helped with his concussions. It’s helped with my metabolic system and my blood vessel growth and my anti-aging and my heart rate. And I asked AI if it could help for bone fractures. And AI came back, yes, it certainly can. So I’m like, all right, well, I put him in that chamber with me 10 times. And we healed that broken wrist in 24 days, 3.7 weeks. He went out and he played 18 holes of golf, full weightlifting with the gym with his teammates, and no pain. And I went back to the ortho because we had to get him cleared or the coaches wouldn’t let him play.
SPEAKER 02 :
Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER 10 :
And the ortho was blown away. And I basically said, look, he’s got good genes on my dad’s side, and these kids bounce back so quickly these days. I’m really not that surprised. Because I didn’t want to disclose that story into the Medicine 2.0 industrial complex. I don’t feel like there’s any benefit for that, at least in my case, my family’s case. And basically the letter that he wrote was like a CYA letter. He’s like, he can participate in sport as tolerated, dot, dot, dot. Because he didn’t know what to say. And I’m like, hey, if you want to hit him with more radiation, I don’t appreciate it. But if that’s what it takes. But yeah, we cut all the stuff off the arm. And yeah, unbelievable. Unbelievable. And that was only 10 dives at two atmospheres for 90 minutes a pop over the course of a two-week period. That’s amazing. every coach that deals with contact sports and injuries should know this. Yes. You want your players back on the ice or back on the field or back on the court. You know, I think the parent should join like I do, maybe not just throw the kids in young if they’re underage, but between ages 12 and 18, you’re paying all this money for these sports. I mean, we paid, I don’t even want to say it on the air, like 25 to 40 grand a year for years to in travel hockey, the equipment, the planes, the fees, the tournaments. And for like an extra four or 5,000, we can fix these concussions. That’s mind blowing. So then I went and I looked up the Joe Namath story in the video and the Howard Stern. And again, we’ve known this for like 10, I didn’t know this, but the collective we in the science world has known this for So yeah, that huge, huge update that I’m so glad you’re getting another one because yours is getting busy.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yes. So great news. Yes, we are going to get a four chamber. It’ll pair up with our two person. So it’ll have more accessibility. We’ll probably have longer hours in the evening time for people who are either work or at school. It’s like, well, I can’t get into you because I work or I have school. So we’ll be able to go into the evening time so people can get in there because I believe that much in this technology. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen your story, your son’s story. I can’t tell you how many people we have helped. In the Castle Rock area, there’s a couple of plastic surgeons that are now adopting this one or two times before their patients have surgery and then afterwards. The wound healing is incredible. When you hyperoxygenate tissue, it just works well.
SPEAKER 10 :
So what’s this paradox with the brain, the five minutes and the 20 minutes? Can you explain the science behind it a little bit?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, it’s the hyperoxia-hypoxia paradox. So when you hyperoxinate the brain, it loves it. So in my chamber, you’re breathing in about 95% oxygen because we use concentrators. We don’t use liquid oxygen because that would create a bomb. So we have concentrators that get the oxygen tension up to about 95% straight into your face, either a nasal cannula or a mask. But when you take it away for five minutes, so you’re on for 15, 20 minutes, you take it off for five minutes, then suddenly your brain thinks that it’s going without oxygen. And through a series of cytokines, chemokines that your brain is dumping, it’s similar to being in cryotherapy. We’re tricking your brain into thinking you’re going into hypothermia, and you get that endorphin dump.
SPEAKER 10 :
Oh, gotcha.
SPEAKER 04 :
Your brain does sort of the same thing. It freaks out and says, hey, where’s that oxygen at? That’s exactly right. And then after five minutes, we put the oxygen back on. So you weren’t without oxygen. You just went from 95% to 21%, which is atmospheric air, right?
SPEAKER 10 :
But that reverse pressure is a part of it.
SPEAKER 04 :
The pressure is part of that. But having that going from 95% to 21% room error, your brain, it freaks out. And so it wants to protect the system, your body. So when it starts to dump all these, what we call them cytokines and chemokines, they’re proteins and peptides that are designed to heal the body, right? The mind is so powerful that That’s why a guy can lift a car off of his spouse when they roll over. Adrenaline. Well, this is not adrenaline. These are proteins and peptides that actually heal the body. So you get it in spades when we keep you under high oxygen tension for 15, 20 minutes, and then we take it away at 21%. You’re still breathing atmosphere here. Nothing’s going to happen to you, but your brain doesn’t know that. And that’s the hyperoxia-hypoxia paradox. Fascinating. So that’s why it’s a paradox is we’re like, well, you’re still not without oxygen, but that’s where the magic happens with a hyperbaric chamber. Yeah. We went a little long. We need to take one last break before we close this out. So we’ll be right back. If somebody had a last minute question, you can get one in for Jeremy. That’s 303-477-5600 or myself. Otherwise, we’ll be back to close this out. Dr. Scott Faulkner filling in for John Rush.

SPEAKER 05 :
This isn’t rage radio. This is real, relatable radio. Back to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 04 :
Welcome back listeners. Dr. Scott Faulkner filling in for John Rush. We have a caller, Ken from Berthed. Ken, what is your question?
SPEAKER 15 :
Yeah, so two quick ones. One, you mentioned that you’re going to have a new office. I missed where it’s going to be and are you going to go back and forth between the two?
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, it’s only a quarter mile away. So my actual physical office where I see patients is going to go to the new location a quarter mile away. It’s on the corner of Founders and Allen Street, A-L-L-A-N. They’re in Castle Rock. So when you get off I-25, you can either go right. I say right. It could be left. It depends on which way you’re traveling. But to the west where the outlet malls are, that’s Meadows Parkway. Or if you turn up the hill going east towards Target and Parker, then we’re up at the top of the hill. So right now my office is beside Target. We’ll have the second location on the other side of the street about a quarter mile away. They’re at the corner of Founders and Allen.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yep. Okay. So the second question is you talked about, so my wife is doing some kind of hair regenerative thing where the lady’s analyzing her scalp and everything. She just started it. So what do you anticipate roughly what you were talking about would cost?
SPEAKER 04 :
Do you have an idea? Yeah. So that injection with the nitrous oxide, the injections, because I have, there’s a registered nurse who I’m her medical director. Her name is Mylon Dismang and she has an aesthetics practice in downtown Castle Rock. So I don’t have the space to be able to do this, but Mylon does. So I have her do it. And that’s $99.95.
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, and how often do you know? Does it have to be repeated or what do you know? Compare like Rogaine, you know, you do it forever.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right. So this is so brand new that we know that it will last a little over a year and you still have the good growth. So sometimes some people want a booster. Some people don’t need a booster. Now, if you have, say, an autoimmune disorder that’s wreaking havoc on your hair follicles, then unfortunately you’re going to be that person that’s going to need a booster. But like in my case, we think that this is a one and done.
SPEAKER 15 :
Okay, so is there any possibility other than what you just shared why a particular person might not be a candidate?
SPEAKER 04 :
No, because every person is a candidate for these cells. I’ll call them stem cells as a general rule, but now it’s the combination with Wharton’s jelly, mesenchymal stem cells that I normally use, the mu cells, and CD34 cells. So we just call it the hair concoction. But with that, we are seeing tremendous results. Unfortunately, you’re going to spend a lot of money for your wife, and you’re probably going to get zilch because most of these things are snake medicine. Yeah, I understand. Yeah, and they don’t work.
SPEAKER 15 :
Unless, you know, faith. You know what I’m saying? You know, believe it. Anyway, so when do you think it will be on the website? Because I live in Berthoud, so I need to see it.
SPEAKER 04 :
to be able to schedule appointment and all you know i like try it well can we have your phone number i will text you from my personal cell phone the video of me august 23rd there in san clemente getting the injection from dr madi and i will show you i just took this picture in the philippines about four days ago and you can see it with your own eyes how’s that
SPEAKER 15 :
Perfect. That sounds wonderful. Thank you so much. The show’s been great, guys.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, thank you. We appreciate that. Appreciate it, Ken. So we have about one minute left. Jeremy, you wanted to give a shout-out to the Courageous Generation.
SPEAKER 10 :
Yeah, I would. I mean, I watched the Erica Kirk at Ole Miss, and she called the kids that are like my son’s age this Courageous Generation because they’re moving more to a faith-based right side of things, which is amazing. And I’ve also noticed a trend. It’s down roughly 90% of alcohol sales between kids the ages of 21 and 30, 35. So a huge shout out to that trend. And I hope it continues because then you can start this biohacking journey in a much better position than I started and live to 150 with good health span, which is incredible.
SPEAKER 04 :
That’s exactly right. And with the Turning Point USA, guys, this fight that the Sea Island group, the billionaires, are trying to cause in MAGA, where they’re pitting us against the pro-Israel group, it’s all smoke and mirrors. Don’t fall for it. Stay MAGA. Stay strong. Keep your faith in God, and you’ll do very well.
SPEAKER 10 :
Do you have a discount for Black Friday?
SPEAKER 04 :
Black Friday. Thank you for saying that. So we’re giving a 10% discount. It doesn’t apply to stem cells, but everything else, 10% on Black Friday only. Awesome. Okay, so give us a call, 303-663-6990. We appreciate it. Dr. Scott Faulkner with Jeremy Sovit. We’ll be back in December.
SPEAKER 10 :
It’s been an honor.
SPEAKER 04 :
Thank you.
